Top Notch. My battery died and my car cried motionless in the driveway. I called them around 4:00 PM, explained my predicament, and they said theyd send someone to my home straightaway. I was able accept the contract and also pay using my smart phone, and it was a breeze to use. I thought I would have to wait until morning, but they surprised me by telling me theyd bring my car back to my house after hours. Good communication, no upsells, courteous service. Very professional.
Christian Brothers offered an easy way for me to get my tire rotation and oil/filter change while not having to lose time off from work or bother a family member. They picked up my car from work and delivered it. They were very nice when I had made a call the day before unsure where to pick up my car due to being in the hospital from a fall I had.
5.8.2021 Edit: Changed from 5 stars to 1 star. I am a repeat customer to this business. I recently brought my truck in because the gas tank was not filling properly (fuel pump shutting off every 5-10 seconds at the gas station). This was diagnosed as an EVAP issue. The part was replaced and $820 later, I was on my merry way. 6 miles from the shop, the check engine light came on and Im still having the same issue. I couldnt bring it back due to an city to city move, so I had to just gamble and hope for the best. In addition, a little over a year ago, I paid them over $1800 to completely replace my A/C system. On my way from Houston to San Antonio yesterday, the A/C completely shut down and would not turn back on again. I could understand if maybe 4-5 years had passed and there was an issue, but due to Covid, Ive only put around 200-250 miles on that truck since that repair. Its not like its realistic for me to try to bring it back to Houston, so I will try to bring it to a Christian Brothers here in San Antonio and pray they can pull up a record of the repairs and do something about it. Either way, this branch lost my business, as well as the people I left behind in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area.
I had a awesome experience. It started with car trouble and I was stranded. Luckily I was able to pull into the driveway of Christian Brothers. It was clear to me on the services that were provided and what to expect before I consented to anything. I was kept informed of the entire process. My car was ready in under 24 hours! Best service and customer service I’ve experienced in a long time.
I was having an upside down kind of day full of crazy experiences and my last task of the day was an oil change. I stopped by Christian Bros and they made my whole day better. Great service fast friendly caring people. Also Fernando is the nicest and he has cool hair. Thank you sooo much Christian Bros for making my day.
I absolutely love this place. My dealer quoted my new brakes and rotors at a little over $2700 and I saved over $900 by coming here. Along with that, I came in for tire rotation, state inspection and an alignment and got me out of the shop within two hours as promised. They are definitely a lower cost shop, along will sticking to their promise. I recommend CBA to most of my friends.
In world where overcharging and taking advantage of consumers is the order of the day, it is refreshing to step into a business where they live their motto, Serve your neighbor. It was an exasperating day at another auto repair business yesterday.. They had fleeced us for an oil change and wanted to change our light bulb in the headlight for $50.00. We are leaving on a vacation and needed it done, but $50.00 was ridiculous. Its a little tricky to change it and is better done in a shop on a lift. So we pondered who to call as we are new to the area. We remember seeing Christian Brothers in our travels around the city. We called. Explained our light bulb problem. They told us to come right over. They fixed it quickly and sent us on our way with an amazing price-$0. I wish I could express more fully, my gratitude for these kind people. We will be taking all of our automotive repairs, oil changes and such with our two cars, from now on to this business.. Thank you to everyone at Christian Brothers for welcoming us into this great community with your kind hearts and serving hands. We will be sure to pay forward your kindnesses. Feeling Blessed.
What a great group of people! I have taken my vehicle many places for basic service and Christian Brothers Automotive beats them hands down. I appreciate being treated special and they do that whenever I go. They explain the service being provided and required. As a woman, it is easy for some repair shops to take advantage of you. I did not feel that way when I picked up my vehicle. They were honest and fair. I recommend them friends and family for basic and extended service. I have been to several locations and have been treated great at every stop!
I’ve got to admit that waiting two hours to be picked up left a bad feeling about the “experience.” I know it is an extra to have a courtesy car but it would have been a courtesy to let me know what was happening. I could have found people to have taken me the 12 minutes to the shop.Three weeks later: I read the response that someone would contact me but that hasnt happened. Good automotive service but it seems you are not following through on the customer service promise. Maybe just promise less and keep expectations low.
Great staff and customer service. I was happy they offer free transportation to and from your house. Also, I had my engine light on and I had a technician from three different places tested it. But, CBA listened to my concern and they fixed the problem on that day. Thanks for the communication throughout the day about the status of my car and being understanding towards your customers. I will continue coming to this place.
Super friendly people and very honest. Experienced and professional. I wouldn’t recommend going there for just an oil change because they are always too busy to do such a simple job in a snap like other places would. Also the oil change pricing is not really competitive. However, if you actually need a work done in your vehicle then they are trustworthy. Having the option of being driven back and forth from and to their shop by their shuttle service to a nearby place of your choice till the work in Your vehicle is done instead of waiting there for hours also is a plus.
If I could give more stars I would. During a time like this, Im so grateful for the measures Christian Brothers Automotive took to ensure cleanliness and safety not just for themselves but for their customers. They wore masks and gloves during interactions with me and also wiped my car down once they were done with my oil change. Thank you!
10+ years and 5 different cars worked on by Christian Brothers and I am a very satisfied customer. Auto mechanic shops are notorious for marking up repair costs and adding unnecessary needed repairs. Yet time after time I have been impressed with Christian Brothers honesty, straightforwardness, and fairness in pricing and customer service; especially as far as mandatory versus recommended repairs. They have saved me literally thousands of dollars by letting me know when my vehicle was at a stage that it would be more cost-effective to sell it then pour money into repairing it - even though that would be the most profitable route for them. Hats off to a great team a Christian Brothers.
I have visited this facility several times and each time my experience is absolutely wonderful. They are so kind and professional. Their facility is so clean that I felt like I was sitting in my living room waiting for my car. When they are swamped, they politely schedule you in for an appointment and always offer to drop you off or pick you up if you need it. Beautiful people who won this business and absolutely wonderful service. Sometimes the wait can be a minute but they do the very best they can to get you in and make sure you leave their facility feeling respected and taken care of.
I just moved to the area and needed both my car and motorcycle inspected. I was very pleased with both of my experiences. They seemed upfront about how long it would take and what the best times to come by would be to minimize my wait. When I did come by they were able to get to me quickly and send me back on my way. Nice people, clean waiting area. I would go back.
We recently moved to the area and were looking for an reliable, dependable and trustworthy car repair shop. Well - we found it! So happy to be a Christian Brothers customer. The Missouri City location is top notch. Service is outstanding and reliable. Whenever we take our cars in for repairs or check-ups, I dont fear I will get charged for work that isnt done or they will find additional unnecessary repairs just to gain some extra pocket change. I am a very happy customer. Thank you Christian Brothers - Missouri City, for taking such good care of our vehicles!
I left feeling like they didnt want to fix our vehicle. Fernando was not welcoming at all, kind of rude. He was also too busy to speak with my husband in regards to the possible issue with our vehicle. On to the dealership... theyre always smiling and glad to see customers.
After moving from Philadelphia 2 years ago, I was seeking a reliable repair shop to service both my personal and company cars. I had received quite a few recommendations from friends in Sienna, so I visited Christian Brothers in Missouri City. Ive been going back ever since and they have a loyal customer in me. The customer service is excellent and services are on time and fairly priced. In this type of industry it can be difficult to establish reliability and trust, but Christian Brothers has earned their stellar reputation in the community. Also, having a loyalty program is something I really appreciate!
This is not the first Christian Brothers Ive been to and it wont be the last. Every time Ive been I have been treated respectfully and kindly and received great service for a fair price. If you need some work on your car and want to know you can trust the integrity of your mechanic, go to Christian Brothers. Josh at the Missouri City location will get you fixed up.
I am very glad i found Christian Brothers for my automobile repairs. It is nice to have a place that will not try and up-sell you can trust what they say. all their repairs have been excellent and they provide a ride home and pick you up when it is finished. Excellent work. I recommend them to any one.
If it was possible to rate this place 0 stars I would, but they were kind enough to offer a shuttle ride home after trying to extort almost $3k from me. Back in January 2018, I brought my Lexus in for a replacement on the front right air suspension strut . After $1,600, and a brand new high quality Arnott air strut, my car was back on the road. The repair was steep, actually more than what Sterling McCall Lexus was charging, but this location is down the street and was very convenient.I enjoyed my Lexus and its new $1,600 air strut all the way until December 2018, when I was driving home and I noticed the same right front corner drop nearly to the ground. Luckily, it was pretty late so traffic was minimal, which allowed me to pull over and find out, to my surprise, the right front strut was blown and making a noticeable hissing noise, indicative of a major air leak. At this point the air compressor was running non-stop (most likely running continuously the entire 1.5 hour trip home) so I limped the car home (about 10 minutes). Once in the driveway I turned the car back on and the right front corner failed to inflate, instead just making a loud hissing noise. After reading my $1,600 receipt, I saw my car was well within the 2 year, 20,000 mile warranty period so I figured it would be no issue getting the part replaced. Boy was I wrong. The next morning, I brought the car to Christian Brothers and let the receptionist know what was going on. Upon departing, I took pictures of the car, which proudly stood on all 3 legs with the right front sagging, nearly to the ground. Anyone that has done work on a car with air suspension could obviously tell what the issue was, but I will assume CB does not employ master techs with air suspension experience, because only a novice would say what this guy called and told me. The master tech (Fernando?) called me later that day and proudly stated it was the compressor and the rear height sensors causing the right FRONT air strut to sag and leak air. If that was not enough of a reason to laugh in his face, he told me the price: $2,698.38.Got the car the following day and took it to a mechanic that worked for Lexus and his diagnosis: FAULTY AIR SPRING, FRONT RIGHT. Not only was this part faulty, but it was apparently rusted in the core. With this new diagnosis, I took the car back to CB and after a 25 minute wait, I was told they would have to diagnose to see if this was really the issue. Trying my hardest not to blow a fuse, I questioned the point of the first diagnosis, in which Fernando stated he inspected the strut and found no issues (also listed on the receipt). After some more waiting, I guess they figured there was no way around not paying out on this warranty claim and told me they would replace the part. The next day, I go to pick up my car and to my surprise, all four corners are on the ground. At this point, I realize these well trained gentleman left the car running and burned out the compressor. Happy Holidays the clerk says to me as I leave. To sum up this ordeal, I took the car to a trusted mechanic (who replaced the front left air strut 3.5 years ago with a used part) and he replaced the compressor. $300 later, the car is up and running again.Gladly, everyone i recommended this place to no longer brings their vehicle here. Too many competent, professional and trustworthy mechanics in the area to get screwed over by Satan Brothers. The next time you think about bringing your car here, dont. But if you are a glutton for punishment and do, I recommend making sure the parts they use are genuine and not rusted. Hold them to their warranty and do not back down if they try not to honor it.
Dear CBS Missouri City Staff,Thank you for your kind and courteous are of our car issues. We are happy with the quality of the repairs and the thorough and respectful communication during the repairs. We also enjoyed being able to get service on the day we needed without having to wait.We will be back,John & Carey
I never had a problem with the maintenance repairs done to my vehicles. Dont expect them to honor a discount coupon, including one of their own. You will see them raise the price of the oil change or repair to make up the cost difference in service. The coupon discount is just a means to lure you into their business, nothing more. Its just dishonest.
Few days ago, I experienced some kind of noise under the car. I took it to the dealer and they said that both the struts in front need to be replaced. Then I took my car to another service station in sugar land. They said the same thing and additionally wanted me replace few other parts. Finally I took the car to CBS at about 2.30 PM on Friday. By then exhausted, I wanted to get the car repaired and go home. I spoke to John at service desk and explained my problem and requested him to repair my car the same day since Saturday they are closed. John was very friendly, honest and very very helpful. He checked with his supervisor and told me that they will do their best to give the car back on Friday itself. They kept their promise and replaced the struts and charged much less than what was quoted by dealer. John was patient and was waiting outside in 99 degrees hot weather with a smile in his face. I will never go any where else for my car repair in Houston. Thanks to John, Nathan and service manager for the kindness, good work and professionalism. I have already told all my friends and family to go to CBS for any of their repair needs.Suku Nair
I cannot say enough good things about this business. Called a week ago to tell them about bad experience I had had with a formerly trusted auto repair business. Nathan, Asst Srvc Manager listened to me intently, quoted me exact prices and policies and gave me an estimate for repairs. John at the desk was so patient and friendly and drove their shuttle to my place of business, even though it is in Sugar Land. Talk about courteous, efficient, and more. Incredible customer service. I had some major repairs done to my car, and the total cost was even less that the estimate. Took my car in yesterday at 7:00 a.m. I was at work by 7:35. My car was completely repaired and ready to go just after 3:00 P.M. Ive already given out the handful of business cards I grabbed form their display at check-out. I have friends and coworkers who will definitely go to Christian Bros in the future. Thank you CBA for going above and beyond. Customer service says quite a bit, and you provide it with finesse. AAAAAA++++++++++++++ Five Stars in my book!
As some of the other reviewers have mentioned locating a reliable mechanic shop that you can trust and expect consistently good service is not all that easy to find. Christian Brothers Missouri City is, in my opinion, that shop. You can see that attention to detail just walking in the front door. You wont find another mechanics waiting room that feels like a hotel lobby. The level of service that Dave Funderburg strives to provide is in the CBA DNA but it still takes the onsite leadership to offer this quality of work day in and day out. I have had major and minor work done to my vehicles. I have been exceptionally pleased with the quality, reliability and price. In fact, Im heading back down there shortly to have one of my cars looked over for an upcoming road trip.Highly recommended.
Honest, wonderful customer service. I had taken my auto to another company who had informed me that I needed to get new brakes asap. I proceeded to take my car to Christian Brothers for a second opinion, who agreed that I needed brakes but not for another 4000 miles. They have since replaced my brakes along with a few other items that needed to be done. The cost quoted was the cost charged. I am fairly new to the Houston area and have found my car care company.
Christian Brothers in Missouri City has always given us an honest assessment of the situations concerning our vehicles and always fixes them correctly the first time. We have been using them for all our vehicles for years. They have a clean comfortable waiting room, and it is easy to drop off your vehicle after hours. They also have a courtesy shuttle to help with pickup/dropoff which we have used on several occasions and found it very convenient. The rewards program has come in very handy especially since we are repeat customers. We highly recommend Christian Brothers with your family or company vehicle needs. Steve & Glenda Procter
Christian Brothers offers a clean, well maintained facility with very helpful advisors at the front desk. They patiently went through all recommended service and repairs with me, and Ive had them work on my brakes on two different automobiles, a drivers side window, and other regular maintenance items. Ive never felt like they tried to upsell me, and theyve worked on labor costs when Ive asked them to relook at their quote. They offer a courtesy car, but Ive never personally used it. They have always had the work done by the estimated date they gave me, and they consistently give me regular updates on progress or if new issues come up. Over the years, theyve gained my trust and my business.
My vehicle is a Volvo and I made a mistake allowing Christian Brothers work on it to repair an oil leak. The day I picked up my vehicle from Christian Brothers, it was still leaking- and this is after spending $1300.00 for the repair. The explanation I was given was that the second part of the engine had to be explored which was an additional charge. The leak got worse so I took it to Volvo specialists. What they found concerning the Christian Brothers repair work was appalling and shotty at best. I was shown wires that should have been replaced, but were tied together as one minor example. There were so many mistakes, it infuriated me. I spent $4600 to have the job redone properly and I wish the mechanics at Christian Brothers had been honest about not being familiar with a foreign vehicle instead of practicing at my expense.
Always great service! Theyre thorough, will walk you through the issues youre experiencing and will go the mile to make sure youre taken care of. Theyve helped me fix botched jobs that some of the other car service places around here have stuck me with. Theyre definitely my go-to place.
This is my first experience with Christina Brothers Automotive in Missouri City.Monday morning, I went to another shop to get my minivan sliding door fixed. They said they dont do this type of jobs. I then went to a dealership to get my minivan sliding door fixed. But, somehow I just didnt feel comfortable to stay there. I drove along highway 6 back home and was thinking which shop I can trust to get it fixed.Christian Brothers Automotive came to my mind because they are located right across our church. I never visited them. But I decided to give it a try.I was so surprised that the office doesnt feel anything like a mechanic shop that I have ever been. It even smells nice. Josh greeted me. He gave me straight answers and I just can feel he is trustworthy.I decided to come back Tuesday morning to get it checked. Josh again greeted me and gave me very clear estimation. He asked me to drop the car next day and he will order the parts.I dropped the car this morning. Josh called me in the afternoon and told me this: after taking out the door, the technician found it didnt need to replace the entire assembly as originally estimated. It will cost you much less than the estimation.I was so happy not only the total price has dropped, but I found an HONEST mechanic shop in my neighborhood. I know I will come back here and I will definitely refer my friends to this shop.
Yes, Im giving them a five and I had to return my car twice for them to get it right. After the first mess up, I could not believe all the high ratings on here. But I returned the car and they were embarrassed and nice even though I wasnt the nicest.I know it is hard to get and keep good help so I have to chalk it up to that. I can tell this is not the way they usually do business. The third trip, I think was the last straw, I think they fixed or fired the problem and I was not charged for either the second or third trips or parts. In short, yes they are human and screw up, BUT, YES, THEY WILL GET IT RIGHT and from what I hear usually on the first time. Not the cheapest, but If you want to deal with honest people here they are.
As usual, Christian Brothers gave me excellent, no nonsense service with straight answers and plenty of information for me to make informed decisions.Prices quoted are the prices charged, so there are never any nasty surprises when it comes time to pay the bill.I received excellent service from a very trustworthy group of people.I recommend Christian Brothers to anyone.
CBA is the only place I will take my car in my area now. That is how wonderful they are. Not only are they honest and trustworthy, they offer to take you home if you need to drop your car off, or if you have the time to kill and wait, they have the cleanest and nicest lobby area I have ever seen at a shop! And they have wifi available too.My first experience with them, I needed a wheel alignment, and when I left I noticed my car still did the same thing, so I immediately brought it back, and they took another look at it, and fixed it and did everything in their power to fix it correctly, without huffing or puffing. My second experience was after I went for my maintenance check at my dealership, and they recommended a few things that needed attention soon. I called CBA and asked for a quote. Not only were they cheaper than the dealership, but they also had a ready quote, told me roughly how long it would take and booked me an appointment. When I arrived, John had a printout of what we had discussed and was ready to go with my car. Talk about excellent customer service! :)Another great thing about CBA is they have a royalty rewards card. Accumulate points, and you get discounts on your next service. You really cant get any better than this! CBA you guys are awesome! Please continue being the amazing people you are, because I will keep coming to you when I need :)
CBA delivered what they promised. Their Technicians serviced my car (AC problems) as fast as they possibly could even under very tight schedule, which saved me from needing a rental car to go to work. During these very hot & humid Houston summer, not having a functional AC in the car is a big problem. Owner & Techs were very courteous too. I highly recommend CBA for all your car services needs. Myrna E., a Sienna Plantation Resident.
I am surprised how this place has a 4 plus rating. I went there for the first time and had a horrendous experience. Took my vehicle first thing in the morning, told the check in person exactly what the fault in my vehicle is and what I need them to take care (I understand automobiles and have worked on them myself). Told them to check other related components and let me know. They said will give you a call in 2 hours after test driving to give an estimate and take approval to start working. No call came for the next 4 hours, after waiting I call them back around noon and get told that they are unable to replicate the problem that I told them to fix. I had to back to their shop (waste my time waiting as the guys were on lunch and had to ask for the manager to look into the matter. Showed them the problem myself and came to know that the front desk check in guy never communicated the issue that I had asked to be fixed in the first place.I can go on and the on but the key point is if these guys can not communicate internally and address technical issues in a competent and professional manner - NO ONE SHOULD GO THERE & THANK GOD THEY DID NOT WORK ON MY VEHICLE.
I had another high quality experience at the Missouri City Christian Bros shop this week. They went out of their way to make sure that my charges were as small as possible while doing their typical excellent service. Their location is very convenient for me but I would drive across town to use them!
I cant tell you if they are more or less expensive than most but I like them. They take appointments, are pleasant to deal with, will give you a ride, and talk to you before doing any work. They will also let you know what has to be done and what can wait. I highly recommend.
Ive had a few encounters with this business. If I remember correctly the first encounter in 2009 was good, but since then it seems to have gone down hill. First of all, to be fair I have never specified the brand of any replacement part when service is being done. However, every part they have replaced is with cheap, chinese stuff. With that being said I would not have a problem except for the fact that there are large markups on the parts. Some parts were priced almost double what they cost down the street at the parts shop. The cost of labor is typical I suppose, and by that I mean expensive. On top of feeling like I am being taken advantage of when I go here I also have had my vehicle returned to me with new electrical issues that were not present before I took it in. Ive also had oil drips from service left on my paint. This review is based on 4 to 5 encounters with this business and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
When I got my vehicle back- They put the wrong brake pads back on. I replaced the pads myself not even 2 weeks before and when I went back to address to grinding they just broke off the metal tabs of the worn pads they had swapped out on me so it wouldnt make that sound anymore and dismissed me. Was missing a bolt on the wiper motor bracket, charged me for replacement of an axle that wasnt actually replaced, broke the connection off my brand new alternator and charged me for it, ultimately wanted to replace my alternator until they discovered it was brand new with receipt. Uh oh! $500 for computer diagnostic and check engine service that didnt amount to anything. Discovered the real problem after the fact, and it only cost $13- Fuel Pressure Regulator. Remember this Professional+Capital+allotted hours=Bullshit and word of advise- CHECK, CHECK, CHECK THE WORK BEFORE AND AFTER, Take before pictures, Confront the potential issues, and watch how fast the managers professionalism crumbles when he cant get away with his own bullshit to increase price needlessly. Ha! All professional mechanic shops are a joke if you care to look deep enough, but as long as you have piece of mind, right?
As a female, I am always nervous when taking my car in because I honestly have no idea what I am talking about. They were very professional and told me exactly what was wrong and what they suggested. I had another small problem and they told me it didnt need to be fixed immediately. The courtesy car dropped me off at work. I was very pleased and will return again when needed.
VISIT #1 (PRICE GOUGING):Id never been to this shop so I chose it get the brakes checked on my F150, I could tell they rear brakes were gone. I normally do all my own auto repairs (I have extensive experience building high performance cars as my hobby) but I was pressed for time... and besides how much could it be to replace the rear brakes on an F150? Well, it turns out they wanted $800 for new rear calipers, rotors and pads. WOW. I said thanks, but no thanks and found some time and replaced them myself. New rotors, pads, calipers and I bled the brakes for a grand total of $150 (after the $50 core refund for the calipers at AutoZone). I understand they need to make a profit... but a $600 profit? Cmon!!!During that visit they reinstalled the lug nuts with an impact wrench to over 200 ft lbs, and I couldnt remove the lugs by hand.VISIT #2 (INCOMPETENCE AND DISHONESTY):So, Discount Tire by Sienna managed to cross-thread the lug nut on the rear wheel of my Jaguar XFR. They took responsibility for their error and hand me a voucher to have the lug replaced at Christian Brothers Automotive. Now, considering my first experience (see previous review) I was hesitant. Since they didnt know how to install a lug NUT, I was concerned about them installing a lug itself... let alone on an expensive, high performance Jaguar. So, drop my car off first thing in the morning. Ive installed longer lugs myself on a previous Subaru STi (also heavily modified), so I know its not difficult. At noon I get a call from CBA and they inform me that the lugs cannot be individually replaced, that the entire hub needs to be replaced. That sounds reasonable. They inform me that the Jaguar dealership has one in stock and theyre sending a driver to get it. Sounds good so far!3 hours later I get another call. They tell me this, We will have to replace the right axle because unfortunately the hub is seized onto the axle. This immediately sounds fishy. The condition of the car is immaculate, so the idea that the hub was seized onto the axle just didnt pass the sniff test. I immediately tell them to halt all work and that I will have the car put on a flatbed to Momentum Jaguar for any repairs. Im not going to have some kid crack open the Limited Slip Differential on a Jaguar.Once at Jaguar I instructed the Jaguar technicians to check closely the integrity of the Limited Slip Differential as I was concerned the CBA might have damaged it in their unskilled zeal to remove the hub.Jaguar complete the repairs and they inform me that the hub was NOT seized onto the axle... the CBA MECHANIC HAD STRIPPED THE NUT HOLDING THE HUB ONTO THE AXLE which is why they couldnt remove it. The Senior Jaguar Technician said, CBA told you it was seized in an attempt to hide the fact that they couldnt remove the hub from the axle because THEY had stripped the nut. Thats why they needed to replace the axle. As a result the axle DID need to be replaced because of CBAs incompetence (at Discount Tires expense). Jaguar informed Discount Tire that CBA was the reason the axle needed to be replaced... Im hopeful they attempted to recoup their money from them.In the end Discount Tire paid over $3000 to Momentum Jaguar to replace the axle and hub on my XFR for that cross-threaded lug nut. CBAs ham-fisted work doubled Jaguars original estimate of $1500 to replace the hub.Luckily I was not on the hook financially for this... however I am CERTAIN they would have pulled the same trick to get ME to pay for their error of stripping the nut on the hub. Its clear to me now that all those Christian items in their waiting room are just props so that you wont question them when they tell you Oh, your brake job will cost $800 or Your hub is seized onto the axle and you have to pay to replace the axle because youll be fleeced by the fiction that theyre Christian, they must be telling me the truth!!LOL!!! Sucker!!!If you have more money than brains, by all means take your car there. You do so at your own financial peril.
The crew at CBC Missouri city knocked another one out of the park. First they found and fixed a tricky issue with the Camshaft sensor on my Infiniti M45. Then when I bumped a curb and caused major wheel damage to my Ford Taurus, they fixed that right up too. It was pretty bad -- the mechanicals for that whole corner had to be replaced. My insurance company was slow to get the adjuster out, and we had already been without the car for a week. So when the adjuster finally gave them the thumbs-up, they jumped right on it and got it knocked out in less than two days. And they even had to use a parts vendor that the insurance company required, which delayed them getting some of parts.I highly recommend CBC for all of your automotive service needs.
Quality, integrity, and honesty only begin to describe a recent experience we encountered with this CBA center. Our 2008 GMC Acadia transmission decided to fail at a major intersection right in front of this automotive center. My wife was alone and understandably shaken. The vehicle was towed safely to CBA where they treated my wife with empathy and a great deal of respect. They even made arrangements for a rental car. As impressive as that is, its only where the story begins. They diagnosed the issue with the transmission and made further inquiries into the power train warranty; something I had not even considered. CBA determined that the transmission was covered by warranty and made arrangements with a local dealership to have the car serviced. Im not for certain that any other entity would have made the same business decision. Instead of taking advantage of the situation and the opportunity for business they decided to do what was right for the customer. Refreshing.
An oil change and alignment somehow turned into needing to pay them over $4k and when I said I wasn’t going to pay that they took the things out that “weren’t necessary” and that brought it down to around $2k. Never going back there again. They just try to scam money out of people.
As a regular customer of CBA Missouri City the past 5 years, the anxiety I used to experience as an uninformed consumer has been replaced by peace of mind that I will be treated fairly because the owners, employees and I share common values. Their expertise helped me defer replacement of a 1999 Sentra and 2000 Saturn by at least two years. I look forward to achieving similar service lives for my newer vehicles.
Made an appointment for an oil change so that I could reserve an state inspection time. Took an hour to complete the over priced oil change only for them to tell me that they couldnt do an inspection in the first place. Deceptive business practice and non-competitive pricing. Made a mistake by choosing to come here and will not be making it again.
I have rarely given 5 stars to any business- but last December my wifes Ford started acting up and we took it to Rob T. here at Christian Bros. he said they would take a look at it...we did go around and around (*and many things did get repaired) but in the end, Rob and the team there flushed out the issue, and repaired the problem and stuck to their quote. I will take my cars back here.
My car overheated, I was told by a big national shop that I needed a cooling fan, $2200Checked with C Bros, actually had a radiator leak, was shown the evidence, cost $1200. More importantly, if I had a new cooling fan but still had the leaking radiator I may have been stranded with family in the middle of nowhere with a blown motor.
They did a good job on the oil change, but I was disappointed with their Courtesy inspection, They told me I needed a cabin filter and wanted an extra $75 to replace it and an extra $45 to replace my windshield wipers,They also said the a/c filter that goes in glove box needed to be replaced, I only paid for the $54 oil change, I went right over to Walmart and bought the cabin filter for $18 and the mechanic showed me how to change it out for FREE. I also replaced my a/c filter in glove box for FREE. I dont appreciate businesses that try to take advantage of their customers. Especially when its for items listed in your manual as do yourself maintenance.

2022-01-10They checked out the problem with my window and wipers with diagnostics and my truckdid not malfunction for them. So they were very honest and treated this with integrity and did not charge us for checking it out. Made it a point to have us call them if the problem returned, and they would check it again. We are elderly and some people now days quickly take advantage of this fact. Thank you first to our LORD and then to service companies like this place, that are still exercising integrity in their workplace.M Gomez

2022-07-20Wonderful car experience! Had rear turn signal out and they took care of it right away, on the house! Just said to come back for my next oil change. I will make sure to give them all my future business. Honest and trustworthy!

2022-03-31Would not recommend here. Came for my ac not blowing cold. Was told the ac compressor was bad and I needed to replace the entire ac system in order to prevent it from happening again since there may be metal shavings in the system. They did not do any kind of actual diagnosis in terms of removing the fittings to see if there any visible metal to determine if we could just replace the compressor and flush the system.Instead, they opted to do the lazy way of telling the customer to replace the entire ac system for $2500 in order to maximize profits.Typical mechanic shop. Again, would not recommend.

2022-05-07I brought my truck over from a dealership because they were telling me a lot of stuff was wrong from battery to the starter to the negative cable and it turned out to be the alternator. Simple fix that only took them about 2 hours and the dealership had my truck for a week and a half.

2021-06-19I originally went in for an inspection but my car was acting strange. (my dash sensors are out of whack). Obviously, they couldnt pass my inspection cause of that so they started charging me left and right for parts and labor for what they said could be the issue. After they replaced one part and charged me for it and it didnt solve the problem then they figured it was another thing and charged me... the issue was /is still not fixed. After about 2 months of constantly going back and being without a car for days, $3,000 and traffic violation later (for my expired registration).... its still not fixed. The time before last, they still couldnt figure out why I was getting the sensors but that it was working fine.... Only they still couldnt couldnt pass my inspection cause of the lights. The time before that, they told me that from now on, whatever they fix is on them since they couldnt figure it out. Thats all great and all except for now I dont think they arent doing much of anything. I took my car back again like they asked on Wednesday (I needed my car by Friday since they are closed for the weekend). I had to call THEM Friday before closing to ask about my car since I never got a call from them about what their plan was going to be or what theyve tried to do even though they had my car for 2 full days. And guess what?! My car is STILL in the exact same condition. (honestly seemed like my car was not even touched the whole time it was there this last time) I STILL have not been able to get my inspection done (even tho my car is apparently running just fine minus the whacked out sensors), the sensors are STILL on and they had the nerve to tell me YET AGAIN to drop it off next week. I have a job, the people in my household have jobs..... I cant rely on others to get to work and back home and to run errands. So now Im having to just keep driving my car with an expired registration hoping I do not get pulled over AGAIN cause I cant keep being without a car since they cannot just be honest with me and tell me that they have no clue whats going on and therefore will not pass my inspection. I could go to another mechanic but seeing as how Ive already spent thousands with them and I was promised theyd figure it out for free since Ive already spent so much to no avail... Its a little hard to up and try again from scratch somewhere else.Im very VERY unhappy. Id give it 0 stars if that was an option.

2021-06-23I can not say enough about how amazing and honest Christian Brothers is. Within 2 months I had to bring my car to them twice. The first time was for breaks and the second time was check engine light. Since they weren’t finished with my breaks in time for me to pick up my son from school they took me to pick my son and actually sat in the pick up line with me.The second time my check engine light came on and I found out I had bad gas in my car and they were honest and didn’t try and get extra money just because. I would recommend them to anyone. They are affordable and most importantly honest. I can not thank them enough and I would never let anyone else touch my car:
