I must say, this is the best run service department I have ever encountered at a dealership. I have a 2013 Infiniti JX35 that was bought in Hawaii and Mr Edward Jackson, the service manager and the entire service department have consistently treated me like I bought the vehicle there and make me feel like a true VMC - Most Valuable Customer. The service is always completed on time and has always been spot on. They’ve supported me with a loaner car on short notice and have charged me the bare minimum for the service rendered and always at a fair price. They are responsive and knowledgeable and I go to them for ANY car service I need. They’ve contacted Infiniti when needed and ordered any required parts, always with my knowledge and always acting as a broker on my behalf. I can’t say enough about Edward, Carla, the Service Manager, the mechanics and the entire McGavock Team. Thanks for ALWAYS taking are of me - even though I didn’t buy the car there. Brett Peck and McGavock Nissan was as good as Ive been hearing about. A few Co-workers and Friends have bought from there and I have to say I enjoyed it. Easy and accommodating, more so with someone who has never done anything like that.Really enjoyed how they pull your new car/truck into the glass room and detail it for you so you can see it in show room quality. That was something neat I never expected. Great experience and I do recommend it.
I haven’t dealt with Nissan personally other than visiting McGavock some years ago looking at a used vehicle. I don’t like the fact that none of their cars have prices. That’s a bit misleading and secretive to me. I like car lots that put their prices upfront on their cars. I purchased my car 3 days from somewhere else.

I cannot say enough good things about my vehicle purchase experience at this dealership. the most important part was that the dealer listened to what I had to say and wanted in a vehicle, communicated constantly with me and kept me updated on the process and arrival date of the vehicle, and returned my phone calls promptly when I did call. If it was not that they are so far from where I live or I would use them for service as well. However, I will keep them in mind for future vehicle purchases and make recommendations to my friends to take a trip to see them.
The folks at McGavock Nissan are amazing. They made my car purchase a positive experience. Specifically, Brian Hester who consistently displayed courtesy and professionalism every step of the way. We are from Colorado. Our vehicle broke down and we had to buy a new one. Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful from Wilson wrecker service, to Edward in the service department to the salesman and finance we were treated kindly and with respect, better than any dealership we have used in the past. I have been shopping for over 45-days and all the dealerships i have been to prior to coming to McGavock were just not working with me at the level I was expecting/wanting them too. I decided to give McGavock a try this morning just to see if they were any different and to my surprise they were so much better to work with than any of the auto dealers in Abilene.Joseph S. was my salesman and did not haggle me just gave the best price and made my buying decision and process easier than an dealership I have dealt with in the past. My salesman Jordan Short was beyond exceptional. Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and cooperative in every manner. Although his hands were tied with allot of the situations; he was able to make it work without any hiccups.The finance guy was very thorough, quick, and didnt try to sell me EVERYTHING in the book.The building is exceptional, and everybody seems really friendly.I love everything about the Nissan Pro4x that I purchased except for the camera quality. The camera quality is quite bad (to put it nicely).Overall I had a great experience. Which was greatly due to Jordan.
Brian Hester was awesome! He made sure the vehicle was very clean (even though the wind was blowing dirt everywhere) he made sure to explain every detail of the vehicle. I havent ever had a sales person take that much time to make sure we knew about all the bells and whistles of the vehicle until then. After some online shopping around bought a 2016 Dodge Caravan SXT Plus from Stuart at McGavock Nissan in Abilene. Experience was fantastic!!Our situation was complicated by the fact that we really liked the van that we found online in Abilene, but live in Lubbock. Didnt want to buy car sight-unseen BUT ALSO didnt want to drive to Abilene (no offense to the good people of what is Im sure a fine city--I just didnt want to spend 5 hrs in the car all to potentially NOT buy a new one).Stuart went above and beyond. He answered all my questions over several days of back and forth around the holidays. Even took video of the vehicle and texted it directly to me. Got the paperwork set up and had Alvin drive it out to our home. They didnt charge for the delivery and gave us the option to turn it down and send it back, but the vehicle was JUST as advertised, very well priced, and--just as we suspected--exactly what our family needed.Drew helped sort the financing over the phone. Though we ultimately didnt go with them, he was able to beat my banks rate. If youre a more aggressive shopper than me, they should be able to help you out in terms of financing.In the end, the vehicle is exactly what we wanted and Stuart, Drew, and Alvin helped us get it as smoothly and painlessly as possible. Really appreciate it, yall!

Weve had a bad experience with Nissan McGavock Abilene, they gave us a rental car to use as our vehicle was in their dealership for repair. On the 28th December 2021 I traveled to Dallas by Bus hired from my work place. Meanwhile Mr. David Rena at McGavock had the audacity to tell his work colleagues that I used their rental car for my Dallas trip. Why would you splatter out words you have not verified? These are the kind of employees that give a bad name to Companies and we have to call them out. Its very wrong to speak of things you cannot ascertain just because you are a manager at a Company. You have caused more aggravation in an already bad situation. A very disrespectful man you are.
I found the truck I’ve been looking for while passing though and had to stop to check it out. Everyone was super helpful right off the bat and made the process smooth as could be. I have 0 complaints! Stephanie got me in and out of there and I’m beyond happy with my purchase. If I didn’t live out of state I’d be more than happy to go back there anytime.

Me & my family purchased a vehicle before at nissan almost a year ago and had a great experience, received a great car last time, it was only right to go to Nissan again after our car was totaled a few weeks ago. The salesman Jordan helped us and was very professional and nice so it was only right to go to him again to find another great car! and Nissan and Jordan surpassed our expectations because we got a brand new car that we love!! & it runs great!!!
I brought vehicle in to have my splash guard have clips put in to secure it. Since oil change company cant put clips in after service. I didnt get charged for those clips but I asked for a clip to hold hood rod in place and got charged 98 cents. That blew my mind. Whats more expensive splash guard clips or hood rod clip.
Purchasing my truck from there was a pleasant enough experience. But do NOT let finance talk you into the lifetime oil change plan. I took my truck in yesterday on my lunch break for its first oil change. 2 1/2 hours later I finally got the keys back. If time holds any value to you, go to any lube place before returning here for service.I also do not understand why the tech felt the need to turn my radio on and change my station and leave it that way. I was courteous enough to turn it off for him. I would expect the same courtesy at the least or to not treat my vehicle as his own ideally.
Rick has been very helpful. Ask the guys for a routine oil and filter change. Also asked them to look under my Nissan Kicks to check all the wheel movement parts. This dealership is by far the best in town. I just wished Nissan would come up with a dedicated Minivan so that our family could continue to enjoy this dealership’s service.

He provided me additional options to meet my needs and when I had established my focus on a particular vehicle he maintained a steady concentration and supported me my goal for the vehicle I was looking for and the price I was willing to pay. Beautiful, well kept, and every professional that worked in the McGavick Nissan in Abilene the day of my arrival, we’re on point to help and provide service. Not a single soul was overbearing and the experience just made me want to share my with the customers who might read this review, as well as share with my friends, peers, and acquaintances.To sum this all up, again…best purchase and most stress-free purchase in my life. Mr. Jackson was highly communicative through the maintenance process. Personally, checked a possible missing clip on my vehicle to make sure nothing got over looked. Brought me MY dirty cabin filter and wasnt misleading or untruthful, which different from my experiences with a different dealership. He even followed up a few days later. I am highly impressed with the continued customer service of this service department. Been a customer for 3 years and Ive never had an issue with any of my maintenance. Thank you.
I just purchased a 2021 Rogue, and I absolutely love it! I had a great salesman, Jordan Short, who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I dropped my car off on Thursday to have a tire pressure sensor replaced, a radiator flush, full diagnostic inspection, and resolution to a starting issue I had. I was warned it would take at least a day as they were understaffed. I was contacted Friday afternoon with an estimate that the service would be completed no later than Monday. I was contacted on Saturday and was told car was ready to pick up. The cost of service was about $200 less than what I was quoted. I asked why there was such a large difference in price. I found out that my radiator was not flushed, and my tire pressure sensor was not replaced. They topped off my antifreeze instead and told me to regularly check my tire pressure with a pressure gauge. I was very disappointed in this. Also when I reviewed my bill, the cost of labor was over 70% of my bill, which was frustrating because the service I requested wasnt even completed. Honestly, I felt ripped off. Ripped off of my time and money. Ive had mediocre service from McGavock before, and I was trying to give them another chance. It wont happen again.

Directed to my appointment with Rick Stotts (sales) some time during the process met Samantha (finance) very informative and outstanding knowledge about the whole process, making my experience the best. Walked in the facility, I had to wait for quite awhile before anyone ever offered to help me and when the service advisor chose to help me the service advisor that was there did not know anything about the vehicle. Then spoke to the man in suspenders, he acted like he had no clue about the car when he was the individual that I had spoke to when I dropped the car off on Monday. I told them to just give me my keys and I would take the car somewhere else to get fixed since it had now been sitting for a week waiting on them to order a $25 part to fix the car.
I went there to look into getting another car because my Corolla is 18 years old and its life is about spent.We had a great salesman named Paul Satterfield that had talked to us about a couple of vehicles but I REALLY LIKED the Chevy Cruze so I took it on a test drive and I LOVED IT!Well, thats the one I got, a BEAUTIFUL 2014 Chevy Cruze!Paul was a great help in finding the right car for me and when we go back in about a year or so to get Derick another truck, Paul Satterfield once again will be able to find what we want.Thanks Paul, youre the best!This car is AWESOMENESS!
Brian Hester was the best!!! Due to the 2022 pathfinders trickling in, he made sure I was aware when they arrived so I could test drive or look at the colors or see all that was included. He sent videos also. I was not in a hurry to purchase but when I went in to test drive the mocha I was sold on it!

Took my car in to get the motor replaced. It took 2 and 1/2 months to get it back. When I finally did my traction control light was on and my Bluetooth phone in my steering wheel doesnt work. They were working fine when I took it in. I took it back to the dealership the same day. I had to pay another deductible to get them fixed and I think it was the dealerships fault they werent working.
Great sales service with Samantha Bryant. Shes a rockstar! Jay Martinez worked with us to get what we wanted for our trade-in as well as the price we were wanting to pay for the vehicle. Christian Dehoyos was great to work with during the financial paperwork as well. All around, we are proud to be a Nissan-only family now.
I scheduled an appointment with the servicing department to do the basics (oil change, tire rotation etc…) and this Nissan dealership does not receive you for service at the appointed time. They take all walk-ins over those that go the extra mile to schedule with them. Hour and a half wait time….
Brock handled my initial phone call about making an appointment and was very polite and told me what the process would be if they had to go through my warranty and the cost. I was able to drop off my car after hours the night before and Brock called me with updates every day. The repairs were done in 2 days (2 recalls and an air conditioning issue) and the cost was very low. Everyone I dealt with was really nice and positive (not just polite) and pick up was a breeze. I always worry about working with a dealership and this was a very positive and easy experience!
I am extremely happy with my new car! I was looking online and was contacted quickly with a sales associate, who was AWESOME! Super friendly, professional and took care of my car needs. Although I wouldn’t purchase a car with them as they wouldn’t match rates from Dallas I will take my Nissan and other cars here for service. They take great care of the vehicle even washed and vacuumed it out. And the bill was much less than we would spend at another dealership in town. We will come back!
Wow! No pushiness, no what can I do to get you commit to buying this vehicle, no heckling, no constant jabber. This was the most peaceful larger purchase I have ever made. John and Arnie were awesome. We have been looking for a vehicle for over a year and my husband had been touching base with John Hamilton as I had changed my choice in type of vehicle twice in the past year, but John was always patient and pleasant. John was busy when we went in the day after Thanksgiving and we offered to come back. Instead he had someone help us who was Arnie Ascencio. The quietest salesman ever who answered all questions we asked and pleasant the entire time. Upon leaving Arnie had one of the sales managers speak to us before initially leaving to look at one more vehicle. Jay, the sales manager, was not pushy and extremely pleasant invited us back when ever were ready. My husband and I had found another great deal at another dealership, but due to the following reasons went back to McGavock: the Acadia we were looking at was already priced below NADA and most importantly I was completely at peace their. I wanted to purchase my vehicle their. This was such a great buying experience we went back Saturday to thank them. Oh also when we made an offer there was no crazy long back and forth ordeal, again peaceful and pleasant.
I wanted a new vehicle. Within 2 days of initial contact, I had one. From beginning to end it was a no hassle experience. I attribute this to Samantha. I totally walked away from several places because the salespeople were obnoxious. She wasn’t. It was the easiest experience I have had buying a vehicle. Samantha was professional and knowledgeable. Hello,My service was great, I was told it would be about 2 hours and that time was beaten. I always like to hear when someone underpromises and over-delivers. I wish more businesses took on this mentality. I was disappointed to learn that my VIP oil change plan ends at 91,000 miles. I was not told this when I purchased the plan (only that it was good for 5 years) so this was highly disappointing and very unprofessional. Since then I have found out that the premium VIP membership is only good for 15 oil changes. I have been continually disappointed in the VIP plan and will never purchase it again if we ever do buy another vehicle from Nissan. Things need to be more clearly communicated upfront and even a handout given explaining what you do get. The application to log in and view your rewards/ points is very outdated and needs a major revamp. Just to be clear, my service this time was exceptional and Im very pleased with the work they performed. I wish everyone would get on the same page as far as service though. I was told it was time for a transmission fluid change and when I called later that day to talk to the parts department they told me it was a closed system and they did not recommend a change. Seems like everyone should agree on maintenance.Thanks,Titus
I bought a 2020 Nissan Armada, I like the car but should have went with a different trim. I believe I would be happier with the trim I was actually looking for and shopped for (Platinum). Their manager helped me out when an issue occurred and turned it into a positive experience. I am thankful for that.
By far one of the best experiences Ive ever had working with a dealer. Rick was awesome to work with and did an awesome job of following through with their commitments after the sale. I love my new truck and feel like I got a good deal. Abilene may be out of the way for most people but I can tell you that it is worth the drive for this level of treatment. It was a very frustrated experience Im a single mother and had problems with my car someone recommended to take my car with someone that is knowledgeable in Nissan to perform a diagnostic test to make sure what really was wrong with my car well they offered me a diagnostic service when I went to pick up my car I asked them for the diagnostic results they gave me just a receipt a asked the I was expecting a detailed explanation of codes to show what went wrong with my car so they told me the mec6only look that car and notice some melted cables in the plugs with the he conclude my car need a motor really? it was a misrepresentation of the service and they charge me 156.00 so please if you really need a diagnostic for your

We have a 2020 Nissan Kicks. It was discovered to have a seam coming loose in the passenger seat cushion. We reported the warranty claim in mid August 2020 and was scheduled to have it replaced on March 15, 2020. The passenger side seat was tearing.....and your service department ordered the DRIVERS side seat cushion. So we are now back to square 1 and waiting on the correct seat cushion to be ordered. We assume that we will go through at least another 7 months of waiting and will most likely have 3 different customer service representatives lose the work order or just flat out forget about us during round 2. So we are completely dissatisfied with our customer service. Hope this gets better and our car gets the appropriate attention that we are due from Nissan.
DO NOT TRUST. DO NOT TRUST. Bought a new car a few months ago, financed it. Signed paperwork for a certain interest rate. Realized upon my first payment that they hiked up my interest rate, trying to make money on me. The finance department tried to pull one over on me, absolutely dishonesty. I will NEVER buy from them again. I cant recommend against against their finance department enough. If youve already bought a car from them, I would check your paperwork immediately. DO NOT TRUST, I literally cant believe this happened.
Love everybody at McGavock Nissan in Abilene. Management, Sales, and Service are all amazing every time I go in. Even though there are other dealerships with equally great products, its the people at McGavock that I want to keep working with. Extremely friendly and they have proven themselves time and time again that my faith and trust in them is well deserved. Had a great experience when I bought my first truck from them, never a chore taking my vehicle in for service, and they went above and beyond when I went back to get a vehicle for my wife.
By far the best customer service my husband and I have received at a dealership. Greg was wonderful. He went above and beyond to help us find the right truck and get the paper work started for us along with a trade in all over the phone! It made everything so smooth once we were able to get to the dealership to sign papers as we live a little over an hour from Abilene. Chris that did our financing was a pleasure to work with also. Very personable and friendly. Overall had a great experience!
I went to get a free oil change and get my cracked windshield replaced. They dont replace windshields but gave me the name and phone number of a company that does that service. I will meet with them at the dealership on Thursday. It is a beautiful facility and great employees/customer service!

Oil change. I love that they wash my car as part of their service and I was told an hour wait time but it was actually quicker! The show room Is tasteful and roomy (no oily, grimy smells you have to endure at your local quick lubes) and I love the bar height tables In the waiting room to work from. My only other comment would be that everyone is so friendly.... I use down time like this to catch up on business news and emails but It is difficult when you are greeted by what seems like every employee! So being pleasant is a good thing but know your customer and when to stop over and chat and when a smile would suffice. By the way, I have bought 5 vehicles from this dealership and have seen them grow over the years. Good job ABILENE!
Came to drop off a car my daughter bought,wish they would be as attentive after you buy as they are when youre buying. I asked if shuttle could give me a ride,lady said yes yes,comes back says shuttle just left will be back soon.Good while goes by, I go and ask ,she says yes drivers around here somewhere then comes back and said he left again.Were I buying a car;they would be glued to my butt
The staff was great. We drove 3 1/2 hrs one evening to get to the dealership. It was going to be after closing time. They didnt mind they were willing to stay as late as it took. She went over the car features. We werent rushed at all. This was the second Armada we have owned. The first was from McGavock in Lubbock the second was from McGavock in Abilene. Both great dealerships. And most of all I feel I got a great deal.
I would recommend if you are looking for a new or used vehicle that you contact John Hamilton at McGovack Nissan in Abilene. We had the best experience working with John and we were able to work out the deal we wanted on the vehicle we wanted. I also had a little issue after my purchase called John he said bring it in and it was taken care of and I in an out in less than an hour with no charge to me. See John for all your car needs!!!!!!!

I bought my car here 2 years and have used their service center since. They were short handed so it took more time than normal however dont let that worry you every employee I came in contact with was wonderful and very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable while waiting.

They were continually courteous and professional. The service department feels like going home to have an uncle work on my car. They have my business for life!
The new location is gorgeous...who knew that was even possible! Im now looking forward to having to go get my vehicle serviced, even with my 2 small children. Time flew by while my kids enjoyed the activity area with tablets and even drinks and snacks...all complimentary. To top it off, everyone was SO friendly from the moment I stepped out of my vehicle. The cherry on top is that they washed my car after my oil change. Very impressed by everything and so glad I own a Nissan...but even if I didnt Id still bring my vehicle here because the customer service blows every other place Ive ever dealt with out of the water. In the years Ive dealt with this service department, theyve always provided great customer service, at any location. But, the new location is awesome!
Toyota guy for 30 years. Made the switch because of value and everyone at McGavock was very welcoming. Rick Posey was not only easy to work with but applied absolutely no pressure to buy right then. No one said, this is our best offer and only today or anything that would pressure me to buy. The deal was a good one. Doug in finance was quick and also didn’t apply any undue pressure. Great experience. Things so good purchased a Rogue for the wife less than 60 days later. .
Thursday morning I went into the dealership wanting to trade into a newer vehicle. They sales staff were so friendly, took me around and showed me all the used trucks on the lot while the manager drove my vehicle and appraised it. Found one I liked, and the price they offered me was amazing. Then they cleaned it and I was on my way! Those guys know how to make a customer happy!
I worked with Hank Lawson over a few days to find a replacement for my Jeep. He made the effort to help me find the best vehicle for me, at a better price than I could have guessed. We were both surprised when I went for something I hadnt even been considering and ended up happier than I thought I would! These guys didnt even complain when we delayed their closing by about 20 minutes, just reassured us that they wanted to be sure we got a car and a deal we could be happy with. Definitely a dealership worth checking out whether you are looking for new or used.

First bad experience.It took 3 1/2 hours for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. Why bother with scheduling and making an appointment if it is going to take that long?But without hesitation, I was expected to pay full price for the 210 minutes wasted while I sat at your dealership.Tag # 9895I could have bought a new vehicle in less time.

We traded vehicles at Mc Gavock and got a fair deal. We bought a year old Froneir certified used car. First week we owned it we noticed it pulled to the right so thought the alignment was bad. We took it to Firestone and it was good but one tire was bad. We bought a new set of tires and the truck runs and drives better. A few days later I thought I would check under the hood. The air cleaner was dirty so I replaced it. Last night I got online and found out how to change the cabin air filters. They were full of dirt and one was bent in half and shoved in. That made it hard to get out. I think people would be better to buy a new car than one of their used cars. They didnt do any quality checks on this vehicle! We love our truck!

Customer service has seriously suffered lately. Covid is a real thing. And it doesnt discriminate against dealerships. One guy was super nice, the other was rude as hell. AND HE HUNG UP ON ME! Its laughable. Definitely wont be going here anymore, nor will I recommend it to ANYONE, EVER AGAIN.
We had an unusual problem occur and the Service Manager Tara Baldauf personally handled the problem her self in approximately 10 minutes. If she could not have fixed the problem, it would have taken a service tech around two hours or more to handle. Tara Baldauf knows more about Nissan vehicles than 90% of all service techs. All attitude and positive approach to problems is outstanding.

My experience with McGavock Nissan was different from most Im sure but it was by far the best car buying experience for so many reasons. When i first went i had intended to spend a couple of days really figuring out what i wanted because i was buying my first totally mew vehicle and i was really nervous. After spending about 5 minutes with my sales professional, Joseph Solven, I was pretty sure i was going to be buying a vehicle from him. He was patient with me and showed me many different vehicles and features to really help me understand what i wanted and never tried to push for more. It didnt take long for me to find the perfect car. I went home that same night with a gorgeous gunmetal gray 2019 Sentra. Unfortunately, one week later i was involved in an anccident that resulted in my first new car getting totaled. I was heartbroken and it only got worse when i realized that my buy out wasnt going to pay everything i owed on the vehicle. I felt lile i had gotten knocked down so hard i wouldnt ever want to get back up again. I couldnt even believe the amazingly warm reception the McGavock team gave me when they found out. My heart swells and i get tears in my eyes just thinking about it. In a time when i was at my lowest it was amazing to know i had so many people on my side. They helped me get my old vehicle taken care of without sending me to the poor house and were even able to get me into an identical Sentra (i showed up and the windows were tinted and everything!) the very next day without my payments going through the roof. McGavock Nissan went so far above and beyond for me and i have no words for how greatful i am. If i could give them a 10/5 i would. You can bet your bottom dollar I am a Nissan customer for life.
Walmart service dept was closed, so I went to the dealership for oil/filter change. I expected to pay twice as much as Walmart, but was surprised to receive the same price or better for synthetic oil change. My truck was serviced quickly and washed. Great value and service! I will continue to have my truck serviced at the dealership.

Their service department is a SCAM. I took my car for an oil change. They were trying to get me to replace my air filter. When I said I didn’t need it the service manager kept telling me that is was SOO hard to get to and I should get it done while they had it out. That it would cost more to do it later because of how much time it took. I’m glad I didn’t do it.It is TWO CLIPS, I had my boyfriend show me and it literally took 30 seconds to unclip the cover pull it out and place a new one.I highly recommend going somewhere else to purchase a vehicle and having it serviced.

My 2017 Titan broke down yesterday. I contacted Nissan. Within in a couple hours a wrecker picked it up and took it to Mcgavock in Abilene. I picked it up at 345 pm today with everything fixed and it running great. I am very impressed with the level of service at this dealership especially David in the Service department. He was a tremendous help. Also my favorite salesman John Hamilton who also helped in making sure my truck got fixed quickly. Both of these guys are a great asset to your company.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had with a dealership or dealership service.while traveling to Abilene , my Pathfinderbegan making an awful roar. By the time we arrived in Abilene, I had at least troubleshot to know it was somehow connected to the climate system.from the first phone call to service advisor through repair, it was a wonderful experience. The service advisor when I arrived at opening, knew immediately what the problem was, contacted parts to verify availability and gave me an accurate timeline for completion. Mr. Kent at the service desk was cordial and efficient. The lead technician (I regret forgetting his name) was very knowledgeable and explained the transmission fluid replacement to me in detail. Both went above and beyond expectations, and even beat the projected completion time by one hour.
Service was great! Went to Abilene for a funeral and my Pathfinder was having some issues. They were able to get me in and out without skipping a beat. Thank you guys so much for getting it fixed the same day I brought it in and allowing me to spend the time with family and not having to worry about my car getting me back home!

The service department is not as awesome as I originally thought. Misdiagnosed a dirty sensor and said I needed a new engine. Luckily, I have a trustworthy mechanic outside of the service center. Go see Forest and his wonderful mechanics at the Conaco on Willis across from United Supermarkets. Much more careful about his diagnosis. Actually looks at the engine and doesnt just trust the computers.
Despite having an appointment, work did not start on my truck until 4 hours after I dropped it off. Quality of work was good, but service manager did not keep us informed of the delay until we called to check on it. Definitely not the quality of service weve come to expect.
Overall, the customer services were beyond expectations. The dealership was organized, the staff were all out helpful and generous, but most importantly.... I felt as if I belonged as soon as I entered through the doors! Best sales representative to go to, in my opinion, is Eric Jackson! His services exceeded my expectations! Thank you Mr. Jackson!

MeGavock Nissan has moved into its new building and everything about it reflects their concern for the customer!!! Bright, open and airy, you are greeted with a smile from everyone from the receptionist to your service provider. The new waiting area features a coffee bar, snacks and comfortable seating with TVs to entertain you and a play area for the children. There is a large glass window overlooking the entire garage , so you can see your car being worked on rather than wondering what theyre doing back there?? The parts personnel came out to meet me, told me they had my parts in stock (yea, no ordering and return trip) and offered to schedule my car immediately for installation. I was in and out in a fraction of the time than what Im used to!! It was almost too quick as I was really comfortable during my time there. Thank you McGavock Nissan....You are number one and obviously your customers are too!!!
First off when I bought our truck fro Mcgavock Nissan Abilene the experience was exceptional. This was the first service we had done to the truck since buying it. I called to for a service appointment on Thursday June 13th. My appointment was for Tuesday June 18th. When my wife went to drop the truck off there was no record of us calling which was very disappointing. After getting the truck in for service the department was telling us that there was no record of us getting the Rough Country 6 lift added on the truck, or the wheels and tires. My wife had to call the sales lady that we dealt with in buying the truck. After about an hour of my wifes time everything was finally worked out. This was a very disappointing from Mcgavock Abilene. I hope the next service appointment will be better.
Sales staff was friendly, cooperative, understanding and low-pressure. This is our first vehicle my wife and I purchased McGavock, and our salesman Carl knowledgeable and friendly. We are really happy with our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum Edition. Look forward to doing business in the future.
You buy a new vehicle so you have minimal repairs if any at all. McGavock pushes services that shouldn’t be on newer vehicles. Either the vehicles are poorly manufactured or your service department is taking advantage of the customers. I love my Murano but I’m not impressed with McGavock’s service department. That will more than likely keep me from buying another Nissan and that’s sad.
Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. My whole family was able to sit comfortably in the waiting area while the team helped me. Joesph was my salesperson, he went above and beyond to get me into the right vehicle to fit my family. I appreciate the service very much.
I had an awful experience with this place. The salesman who was so dedicated to “helping me,” sold the car I was trying to buy when he came back from vacation.In the end, he ended up selling me a more expensive car that, if not worse, isn’t any better than the car I was initially going to purchase. They used my budget against me and ruined my entire first time buying experience. I will never do business with them again.
We traded in our 2012 Titan for a 2014 Frontier. This is the 4th vehicle we have bought at McGavock and its been a smooth experience every time! The salespeople are friendly, but not pushy; the finance staff is knowledgeable and explain all the terms of contract; and the service department is always friendly and great about updating vehicle status. We had a mouse get into our AC and were planning to go out of state at the end of the week. We had called another dealership and they had no appointments before we needed to leave. We called yours, and they said bring it in right then-we live 100 miles away but they worked us in and we were all fixed up in a little over an hour!
Paul Satterfield was excellent to work with. This was a phone and internet purchase of a slightly used car. He went out to the lot and checked it out for us and had it delivered the same day 200 miles away. It was as he promised. Super communication and follow up was perfect. Beautiful place. Pleasant visit before lunch. Car serviced in a timely manner. This is my second time here in 3 weeks. Love the service center. Greeted and helped the second I drove up. They do have a nice relaxing lounge. TV stays on Netflix but no sound and no actual movie on, TV behind counter out of reach of customer. They have snacks but both times I have been there was never offered anything. Girls usually seem to busy wiping things down and always have their head down or back turned avoiding eye contact. Seems more like a break room for staff. They pretty much help themselves to anything. I think they should be offering and greeting as each customer walks in. You pretty much have to walk up and ask to be helped. The little bitty break room they had on Clack seemed more inviting.
Just drove my new Nissan NV200 home to Colorado from McGavock Nissan in Amarillo, TX. Rick Owens, the best car salesman weve ever dealt with, went above & beyond when he agreed to drive the van from Abilene to meet us half way.The whole process was amazingly pain free. We even got a great financing deal. We absolutely recommend McGavock Nissan.The NV200 is comfortable to drive & has performed nicely so far.Getting over 26mpg!
Den of Thieves:I took my car to get my oil changed. One of the three people that went into my car stole the money I had in my center console. Filed a police report, officer did not find the money. I don’t reckon this was his first rodeo.The management was very sorry and apologetic. For that reason, I don’t like having to rate someone one star. However, the dealership should watch their employees a little closer and at the very least have cameras installed.Lastly, why is it ok to allow employees to rummage through consoles? Surely a camera and policy against that would deter most of these types of crimes.Aside from having my money stolen, the experience was good. The shuttle driver was very nice and the greeter was as well. I was so happy with them, I bought them donuts to say thank you. Sadly, no words can explain the hurt I feel from the theft, nor the impact to other people the theft has had.
The greeters are always friendly and helpful. Most of my experience has been with the parts department, mainly with Steve Ramos, the parts manager. They werent able to get the part I needed (there are none left in North America), but their parts team is willing to go above and beyond to help with anything they can.3 stars to Nissan for not supporting their older vehicles.5+ stars to the parts team here.
Santanna is an amazing asset to McGavock! We’ve bought 3 vehicles through McGavock and Tanna as our salesperson and we won’t go any where else! She was great with explaining everything to me, and was even great with my kids when they got a little crazy. Christian even let my daughter use his charger to watch her movies while we finished signing paperwork. Definitely the best place to go!

Joseph Solven took his entire Saturday at what the start of the day didn’t even seem like a possibility of me getting a vehicle since I still owed so much on my trade-In vehicle and couldn’t go any higher in my payments. Not only did I get a great car but they almost entirely paid off my trade- in which I thought was completely impossible now I have a dependable car I can feel good about having my baby in and not drowning in debt. BUYERS BEWARE......Mcgavock Nissan sucks. They dont honor Nissans warranty and they lie a lot. They keep my vehicle for a month and the problem with my door was never fixed and then the shop manager argued and lie telling me that the problem was fixed when Im showing him that there is still a problem with the door.
We were out of town and getting ready to return to Houston when our battery died. Tara was the BEST! She got us into the service dept, got us complimentary snacks and water, and had us back on the road within 30 minutes without so much as waking our sleeping daughter! McGavock forever earned my loyalty any time were in the area. Thank you so much!

2022-05-21Ive been here multiple times for oil changes and repairs, including diagnostics. When I was concerned about something, they could have easily said that it needed to be fixed or replaced. However, theyre very honest and good people. The waiting area is top of the line with complimentary water, soda, and snacks. My only complaint is the location which is a 30 minute drive from my house, but with service like theirs, Ill gladly drive the extra miles.

2022-06-14This is our third Rogue in 5 years and we love the quality and dependability of each model. We received great customer service from our local dealer and feel we got a good deal in spite of low inventory due to the current supply chain issues.EDIT on June 14th, 2022 - We started getting this message shown in the picture, only 3 months after purchase, and with less that 2k miles. It is currently back at the dealership for troubleshooting, but so far no one knows what it is or how to fix. Details to follow.

He has been with me over the last year as I have began my journey of finding my perfect car. He is super friendly and knows what he is doing. The rest of the team seem really nice and caring as well. I enjoy seeing the team and working out some deals. Definitely the best Nissan within 200 miles. I have visited many but never received service quite like at this one. 2021-06-29I was shopping for a new car for my mother, since she was without a vehicle due to an accident that totaled her car from someone running a stop sign. My parents are retired, and on a fixed income, unable to add the expense of another vehicle. I was met on the lot by a salesperson named Stephanie. Very nice, and actually listened to what I was trying to do for my parents. I was very impressed about her sincerity, and not just another pushy salesperson.I did end up purchasing a 2021 Nissan Altima, as a surprise for my parents. I had asked Stephanie if I could buy a big red bow, that I had seen on a table inside the sales floor, as it would be a big surprise. Stephanie took over the surprise from there. As I was doing paperwork with finance, I happened to notice Stephanie, (and I believe a manager ) driving my parents new car onto the showroom floor, and she put that big red bow on it, as my parents were on their way. I was literally fighting back tears, as I was thinking how special she was adding to the moment. I want to thank Stephanie, from the bottom of my heart, for the whole process. From the time she met me on the lot, till my parents we’re driving off the showroom floor. Thank you so much Stephanie, for going way beyond the extra mile. 2022-02-27Buyer from Dallas Ft Worth Area..Vehicle listed for $12,xxx when inquired was told that deposit was made and sold. Got a call back same day said it was still available but for $14,999 and I agree that was fine. Had my bank pre approve with drafting ready and signed all paperwork prior to pickup day Friday 2/25. Purchased a non refundable bus ticket to Abilene on Thursday, Get a call Friday morning from JB stating the 2007 FJ Cruiser has major engine issues and would cost $5,000 to repair the timing chain. CARFAX shows Pre delivery inspection completed by Lithia Toyota of Abilene on 2/24 battery replaced, oil filter changed, air filter replaced, wiper replaced, Emission or safety inspection performed AND on 2/25 Vehicle Serviced, Maintenance inspection completed, Recommended maintenance performed, engine serviced, Tire condition and pressured checked for VIN JTEBU11F170046318. Finance manager Christian is a joke too. Maybe they had the pricing wrong again and sold it for $16,999+ none the less shady and would never deal or recommend to anyone at any of the McGavock brand dealership.
