Should have read the reviews prior to getting my car “detailed” at this place! Dropped it off because it’s conveniently right next to work. Purchased the Super Clean package because I needed some dog hair vacuumed out of my CX-5. Where do I start?! Price is listed at $54.99 but they conveniently forget to tell you it’s an additional $15 for cargo space and 5th door. I was handed a receipt for $70 and told to go inside. I figured for this price it must be good. Then I get called to come pick it up and while I acknowledge I didn’t purchase the package that provides treatment for leather seats, I expected for the dog hair to at least be vacuumed off of it but it was not. My car is completely covered when I travel with my dogs therefore there is not by any means an overwhelming amount of hair in the vehicle after the trip. A solid 15 minutes of vacuuming should do the trick. It does not appear they even put that much work into it. I needed up pulling into the parking lot at work and wiping down my leather seats to get the dog hair out. Will definitely not return.
I have been there twice now and paid the $13.99 price to have the outside cleaned, the interior dusted, and interior windows washed. They did a terrible job. The outside was clean but the interior which was supposedly vacuumed was barely touched and the windows were filthy. I didnt notice how dirty the windows were until my commute the next morning when the sun was shining directly on my front window. Although this location is convenient, I wont be back. I expect better service than this.
It was a great car wash for a good price. Of course I would do a better job wiping the car down because I am OCD about that but they cleaned my car better than most places around this area. Also, it only took 30 minutes until the car was clean. I went on a Thursday afternoon around 3pm a few days before Xmas to give you an idea of the time. Im sure later in the day or weekends are super busy.
The staff was all friendly to me and the inside area where you can wait is very nice. However, the actual job that I paid for (which was that they wash and vacuum out my car, nothing fancy) was pretty terrible. I think they vacuumed the drivers side and thats about it. The floor mats and seats are still covered in dirt! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Worse customer experience ever! I paid $139 for a detail job. When I went to pick it up there it was mud on the foot board of the truck, pollen in all the edges of the tailgate and the door windows, and spots of dry drops of water on my chrome details as well. The manager approach and yell at the worker that was still finishing the spots on the truck and said: thats fine, leave it like that, if he wants to get extra work he has to pay extra! I was like Where am I? I saw the owner and approach to him and ask him very calmly to please come and take a look to the job, I thought, you know these things could escape from an owners sight and you could missed whats going on in your business. But wrong! he just shout towards me Its fine!, this is the cleanest vehicle in all this car wash! and say to the worker, just leave it like that! So then all my customer experience made all sense to me as why the Manager acted in the same way, the owner doesnt do any better. Do you want to experience a fantastic bad customer experience, then this is the place to go.
Wish I could give 0 stars. So upset with myself for not reading the reviews before going for a detail here. Paid $70 for the super clean, one whole side of my car still has black dirt on it. I called to complain and they said whatever the machine takes off is what it takes off. My trunk also was not vacuumed at all, tires are filthy. Will NEVER go back here. Youre better off doing a cheap drive through car wash.
Have gotten full details several times at this location. They were okay. If you have black car you may get swirls. We had washed our cars here because it is so convienent and staff was nice. Things are different now . For a basic car wash “If the machine does not clean it that is the best we can do.” said supervisor. Black marks left in wheel wells, bird poop on hood, front end wet. I told him HEB auto car wash does a better job. He agreed. Busy car wash works on volume.
They tried to upsell me for more than I needed ($154.99). Lost interest in helping me when I said I didnt need the $154 package, trying to tell me the wait would be too long. I really needed detailing (spilled milk). They then quoted me $125 however their advertised price list said that the service was $94. I asked why I was quoted $125 and not the standard $94, they said it depends on the size of the car. It does not say that anywhere on their price list that the price depends on the car size. For the record my car is a crossover, barely bigger than a sedan, definitely not a 3rd row of seats or anything. This place is a rip-off with poor customer service.
Had my car washed/detailed today.. left with a car that still had expo marker on it that I hadnt noticed until I drove off. The carpets were hardly even vaccumed! Still had lots of crumbs and grass. They didnt even bother to pick up the mat and vacuum underneath it either. My side mirrors were not cleaned AT ALL, still were as filthy as when I brought them in. Dont even get me started on the interior. Seats were barely touched you can see the streaks of where they cleaned and where they didnt same goes for the doors and dashboard. Paid $40, which was way overpriced to begin with especially for what I got. Dont waste your time or money here. This has got to be the worst car wash I have ever gotten.
Whatever you do, do not let these people do any sort of repairs or work to your car. Ive heard horror stories from other people, but I ignored them. Usually I let them do a car wash and oil change, super simple. The last time I went, they told me my transmission fluid needed to be changed. I said I would take it to the dealership, and they insisted that they could do it, and cheaper. HUGE MISTAKE. They put the wrong transmission fluid in my car, which started driving very poorly. When I took my car to the dealership, they discovered the transmission fluid error. Still waiting to hear what the long-term damage and cost will be after flushing the system and fixing their mistake. Certainly not worth the few dollars I saved letting these people screw up my car.
The car was clean. In early October, I bought a new VW and of course I want to keep it clean. I drive by this place everyday to and from work. On Sunday I thought I would give them a try. Here is my verdict: I will not be returning and be recommending them to anyone. The inside stank of burnt clutch and the alignment was a little off. The person who drove my car couldnt have been older than 18 and I am QUITE positive he rode the clutch a LOT. I am sure he didnt know how to drive a manual because I stalled it twice. The car has less than 2200 miles on it and this morning on the way to work, I kept getting whiffs of burnt clutch smell. Needless to say I am pretty pissed and I will not be returning. I wonder how they even stay in business because I cant be the only one this has happened to.
Horrible place for cleaning/detailing your car - stay away from this place please. They have some of the laziest and slowest workers on planet earth and the detailing job was just OK after the >2 hour wait time I was forced to endure. My first time was the last time I took any of my cars for cleaning/detailing at this place.
These guys are worthless. This is the third time Ive had problems with them and Im never going back. They quoted me $59.99 at the drop off point for an interior shcarpet shampoo and a regular wash. I went in to pay and then it suddenly became $159.99. When I challenged it the cashier called back to the wash and they said its more because its an SUV. $100 more?!? I took my car out of there and will take it to a higher caliber place. These guys are a joke.
The only reason I gave them 1 star is because zero wasnt available!I brought my 1 1/2 year old luxury SUV there to be cleaned and noticed it had been damaged. I called to speak to the manager/owner immediately and he told me to come back in(which was just a song & dance) , where he then tried to shame me by saying the car was really dirty ... um yes thats why I brought it to a car wash. They refused to accept responsibility for the damage and it was not a pretty scene. Get it done right, go to Caesars. The Original Owner of Coachworks was professional and courteous enough, but the existing manager is a joker!
This used to be a good place with good service. Now is all about up-charging and money. Business is not appreciated and not concerned about return business. Will be taking our 3 vehicles once a week somewhere else. The last straw is that a Buick Encore is considered oversized vehicle so was charged additional. I was told this is an SUV and is the policy. They said oversized vehicles require more time for drying. This vehicle is way smaller than most sedans charged regular price.
Horrible customer service. The guy with long hair that takes your wash order, I believe his name is Tony, is the most unfriendly person Ive met in a customer service role. He does not smile, is not hospitable, or even acts like he cars about you or what you want. I talked to the manager on duty this past Sunday and both he and Tony reeked of smoke.Ive tried taking my cars here a few times since they are local but never again. Go Wash on 620 is not as nice but rated much better and the staff is ALL friendly, and they are 30-40% cheaper.
I took my suburban there today and received the Silver Wash. The good: They did a good job on the outside overall. The bad: They did a horrible job on the inside. The top of the dashboard was untouched with dust all over it. The console wasnt touched either. They did a sub par job vacuuming.Summary: For $24 you should be able to get a good car wash inside and out. These guys had one job and failed miserably on the inside - not ever going back.
I did not think you could get amy worse than Arbor car wash but they managed to! I called to see how long a detail was as i was selling my tahoe the next day. They said 3hrs. I return in 3hrs and they did not even start and were closing so told me to come back the next day. I explained this was going to cost me the sale and they gave me a gift card for a wash. A month later i just got my new truck washed and they didnt clean 40% of it! Horrible job. I had the guy clean half of the missed items but afrer 10 min going around the car I just left and cleaned my truck properly at home. Avoid this place!
I was not a fan of this car wash until Mason, which I think is the manager, helped us on the last two visits. The first time, the place was understaffed . He apologized, helped us out with rate and told us the next time he would help out again. Went back, saw Mason and yup got a great wash and they did it for free. As long as they keep good employees like him, we will continue to be a customer.
I should’ve listened to the reviews. I thought maybe coachworks would address them but turns out that they were pretty much all confirmed by my experience last week. My small SUV was charged as an “oversized vehicle” and the detail inside looked like a 5 year old maybe did it. The mats were shaken out at best and the dash and interior was equivalent to a very very oily rag wiped over the main things. A week later and my hands still feel gross after getting out of car. The back of the vehicle looked completely untouched of water or soap. Waste of money and time.
Today 12/17 was legitimately the worst customer service we have experienced in Austin to date. We had a specific ask that was not addressed (dog hair), and went back after paying and tipping to politely ask why it had not been removed. The manager looked at us as if we were wasting his time, and told us that we needed to pay for additional service. Provided we were already against the clock, we called to discuss our concern with management. After time spent on hold and passing of the phone, we expressed our discontent and stating our intent to leave a bad review, to which they replied; do yourselves a favor and dont come back. Poor form. New staff would go a long way. Unfortunately our network will be taking our business elsewhere (H2O on Barton Springs). Im remiss for not remaining loyal to great customer service.
You have to realize people who have a gripe are going to go out of their way to write a review, Honestly I have been going to this car wash for two years and have nothing but good things to say. I have always found people there to be courtesious and helpful.. They have even suggested less expensive things to do to remedy my car issues. Enjoy the whole experience including the nice porch seating!
Owner is very rude. Will not take blame for scratches on hood caused by uncleaned brushes in the drive machine. I pointed out the problem and he started to cus me out with vulgar language. Saying this was a scam trying to have them repaint my vehicle. All he had to do is offer to buff put the spots to see of that would fix the issue. I had to spend a extra $50 some where else to have buffed out. Throwing the F bomb Is not a way to treat customers... I will Never go there again. Waste of time and money for what they do.....

Terrible. Guy giving receipt says well wipe interior. They dont. I ask for it to be done and then he backs out. Im not talking about dressing it, just wiping the dust off. Wont even clean the door jambs for $28. Thats ridiculous. Had to walk the car and show all kinds of dirty spots left on the car to clean up. Bugs still on the grill, water spots etc. No way Im going back. I told the guy that Ill just do it myself when he started to argue with me. All I ask is that you do what you said youd do.By the way: Took an hour and 15 for a simple wash.
I was quoted for a 2 to 3 hour interior job, and it took over 5 hours... until closes. Four hours into the service I requested the ETA, and the head of detail was unable or willing to provide the clerk with the information. Five minutes before close, I requested my car as they were still working. The quality of work was spot excellent, but whoever is incharge of time management and/or duration quotes for detail needs to improve their accuracy.
This place is very overpriced for what it is. I took my car in to have the interior DETAILED - not cleaned but DETAILED. I spoke to the manager and he gave me a price and then told me to park the car in one place. As soon as I had parked another guy came over and told me to move the car to a second spot. Three minutes later another guy came over and told me to move the car again. They spent 40 minutes - thats it - on the interior for $80. One guy did almost all the work whilst half a dozen other people just stood around. My normal guy who details spends about 2 hours. They missed all sorts of areas of the car and when I went to speak to the manager he could not have cared less. I felt sorry for the guy doing the work and so tipped him 15% and he got mad as he thought that was not enough - not enough for a job I had to take to another company to finish!
They dont do the best job in town, but then again Im not please with most automated-wash-hand-dried car washes. I recommend walking around your car and inspecting it prior to tipping and driving off; they seem to always miss door handle indentations and license plate areas. On the plus side are these benefits: its not a bad place to spend time on the meandering porch complete with rocking chairs or inside where theres comfy seating, a TV and some fun retail shopping, theres complimentary coffee or you can purchase other beverages, and they have free wi-fi.
I ignored the reviews and wish I hadnt.... Paid for and upgraded wash notice that the car on the passenger side looked cloudy they said that I needed to have an expensive wax done on the car because it was oil. So I requested a towel And dried it off myself in 5 minutes Right in front of them... When I was done they turned their back to me and walked off.... garbage service and garbage product.Update....Today I decided to give this place another chance since I had only been there once... thought maybe they were just having an off day and wanted to make sure my review was fair...keep in mind that I was polite and tipped the guy that vacuumed my car the first time.... when I pulled up the person that my review was written about last time was there. I said hello with a smile and he told me to pull forward.... I got out of my car fully expecting to have a better experience this time..... the man walks up and says when was the last time you were here?I replied Ive only been here once and it was a while agoHe then told me we cant serve you!I was shocked but obviously the owner of the location saw my review and instead of responding or trying to do anything about it put me in the computer to refuse service. This next portion is to the management.I would like a response!I was never rudeI tippedI shared my experienceI came backAll you have to do in a situation like this is operate with integrity and try to do good for a client but instead you acted like this.I really hope someone sees this and responds.
I paid $99 for the Super Wash which is one of their highest end washes. For comparison, the basic wash is $18.I had just been camping with my dog and my son. There was dog hair, sand and dirt inside the car and mild tree sap on the exterior. So definitely time for a good clean and detail.I sat outside and waited for the car to get cleaned. I watched them pull the car around to the front and go over it with a rag for about 2 minutes. They then left it there for about 20 minutes. I had watched other people get called when they pulled the car around and they didnt call me. I waited for another 10 minutes and decided they must have forgotten me.I walked up to the guy who had gone over it with the quick wipe down and asked him if it was done. He confirmed it was done. I walked over to the car and it looked like a 12 year old had washed it. The tires had been halfway armor alled. The wheel spokes on one wheel were only half done. There was still sap on the car in multiple places. The foot wells and seats looked good but the back of the car still had mud (and I mean clumps of mud) and dog hair all over the inside. The drivers side dash was only halfway armor alled.I asked for the manager and he asked me if he could help me in a self defensive way - his tone told me that no matter what I said he wasnt going to help me. I showed him the sap and the dirty wheel spokes. He assured me that the full wash had been completed. I told him it obviously had not been completed because the car was still dirty. Instead of cleaning anything I pointed out, he just got more angry. He ended up storming off and telling me he would fetch someone hirer up, after insisting that everything was fine. I told him not to bother and that I would not be coming back.I grabbed a rag and cleaned the remaining dirt and sap off the car myself the same way I would if I had gotten it cleaned at a gas station wash machine. When I got home I noticed the mud and dog hair in the back.So for a $99 Coachworks detail, you get to clean the car yourself. I will never be going back.
Coachworks has done an exceptional job in caring for our cars. They are detail oriented and whenever I have an issue (stains, pen marks from my kids and exterior paint issues) they take the time to find a solution to my problem. True professionals. The facility is convenient for me and I do my oil changes there as well. Good team. Top flight car services. 5 stars all-around.
Holy snikes this place blows; complete waste of 1.5 hours waiting for an overpriced wash for leftover dirt spots in and out. Automated car washes or my toddler can do better. I pointed out spots to the manager and was told to buy a detailing package. Oh and rude cleaner/towel finisher guy. Do yourself a favor and sell your shop someone who cares.
When I hear a name like coachworks at a location like Bee Cave Texas, I automatically assume that this place is top notch. The guys and gals vacuuming, wiping down the cars and detailing can be re-trained to do a better job, the problem lies with management and possibly ownership. The owner of coachworks needs to sit down and read all of these deplorable reviews, not get angry at those to wrote them but be thankful that someone took the time to tell him what he needs to do to turn this ship around and most importantly take corrective action. Ive been to this car wash twice and I will not return until its under new management or new ownership.
I went in later in the afternoon and only saw one car in front of me at the vacuum station so I figured it would be quick. The guy said can I help you? So I mentioned just wanting a basic car wash.. no other words were spoken.. he walked off and came back with a receipt. I looked at it and noticed a $2 up charge for having a truck I guess. No big deal.. it was 95 degrees outside so I figured the guy didnt feel like talking. I went inside and browsed around and watched some tv for about 15 mins. The cashier was very friendly. After 45 mins I finally saw my truck get pulled around and a guy started to do a wipe down inside and out. I felt bad but by that time I had to go so I gave him a tip and just asked for my keys.. I think the overall wash would have been really well done but I didnt have the expectation that a $15-16 wash would take an hour, so mine was incomplete due to my need to leave
Wouldn’t recommend. Especially not for service. I’ve brought the past few vehicles I’ve owned here and they’ve always been ok - because of convenience factor - but now they’re just sloppy. Waited 30 minutes for them to tell me they couldn’t work on my car because I have a skid plate. Never been a problem at other service centers and I’ve brought other vehicles here that have skid plates and it’s never been an issue. Probably a reason they have so many consistently bad reviews.
Only use this place as a last resort. Just had the car handwashed and its covered in water spots. I spoke to the manager about it, and he tried to feed me some bs about sprinklers. Fortuneatly, I knew why there were water spots (they are caused from mineral deposits in the water when the water sits too long on the car, and/or not using a spot free rinse immediately after washing) but sadly they were too incompetent to fix the problem. So I am going to have to get my car washed after getting my car washed... coachworks, for an education on how to clean a car, watch ammonyc on youtube.
Took car in for a basic wash. There was a small amout of writing on windows they told me $29.99 just to wash letters off. Plus the $17.99 car wash. RIP OFF! Took to Go Wash on 620 and $20 plus 2 minutes with a brush all clean! GoWash worth every cent! Be leary of up charges at coachworks!! Take your car to GoWash!!! Friendy staff also!!
Tried to up-sell my wife to synthetic oil by saying it was required for a 2015 Nissan Altima when the owners manual very clearly states regular oil is perfectly suitable, As an alternative to this recommended oil, SAE 5W-30 conventional petroleum based oil may be used and meets all specifications and requirements necessary to maintain the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. She chose not to be misled by this establishment.
Terrible business. Asked for a wash and a vacuum. They only gave me a wash. Then I asked them to clean up the spots they missed and the guy gave me attitude. All the cleaners and front desk are rude especially the guy taking orders with the slicked back hair and mustache. They have never done a good job. Stay away from these people.
DONT EXPECT A GOOD CARWASH. I would give this place - 5 stars if I could. The staff is lazy and doesnt care. I paid to have the inside vacuumed and ragged down. when I got my truck back the vacuum job was half ass and they didnt touch the inside with a rag. Manager looked and could careless. I wont be going back there!
Terrible do not go to this horrible place. I will never step foot here again. What these people did to me was beyond outrages. The last time I took my car they spent 5 hours detailing it for 199.99. Since my husband and I was in the area had to have SUV cleaned and spent 169.99 FOR a 30 dollar car wash, The Hispanic guy told me I was no longer able to go to the car wash becuase my husband didnt pay the bill which in fact he DID we even called the card company and lord and behold THEY TOLD US WE NOT ONLY PAID THE 169,99 WE ALSO PAID 20,50 for a sticker these unprofessional people didnt apologize!!! HE DEMANDED ANOTHER PAYMENT .................IT GETS WORSE FOLKS................they even told me never to return. A friend there told me someone isnt reporting the paid tickets WHICH DOESNT seem right . It looks as though management doesnt seem to care. I doubt if they will stay in business for THERE WAS ONLYvery few cars there to clean. GO someone else these people have a history of corrupt practices one of the workers there told me to report them to BBB.. which may take place. Save yourselves the time and expense
Horrible experiences here. I have tolerated poor quality, mediocre service and the arrogance of both the owner and his son more than once. We keep going back because the location is convenient. We keep hoping it will be sold to a real businessman who values quality but alas it looks like these folks are hanging on. Take the extra time and go down Bee Caves to the Finish Line.
I dont know why I keep going back when Im disappointed every time. This time they upcharged me for air filter during my oil change without asking me. Plus they charged me for car wash when it should have been free. Not the first time I have been disappointed here but it will be my last. Never going back again.
I am only giving one star because I have to. I waited in line for 15 mintues only to be ignored and watched the check in guy get up from sitting down and walk over to a more expensive car (that had just arrived) and help them. Really bad customer service! The initial greeting is so important especially when I was going to get a detailed service.
Disappointed is an understatement!! Not only is the staff /mgmt very unprofessional, I would be ashamed if I were the owner of this place of business. I would recommend they open their eyes soon and take a closer look at whats not being addressed here before more ppl keep posting these types of reviews here... clearly this is the norm and a representation of what they call service here ....very poor service, and if you bring it to their attention they are offended and offer ZERO solution. Therefore they get these reviews. So when told that we would just post a poor review... the staff mbr literally said oh well, ok and walked away. So for 70 bucks folks here is what you can possibly end up with... good luck if you use this place!!
Absolutely terrible service my car is not much cleaner than when I brought it in not to mention the fact that my rim FELL OFF during the wash and after calling up there and asking if they found it the guy replied “not really.” NEVER returning here and I suggest you take your money down to Rollingwood for an actual car wash
They use to be good for many years... last three has been steady decline in both attitude and most of all service... car is never cleaned well anymore ( not detailed just cleaned) windows skipped vacuuming barely done etc.... wife wanted to give them another chance, so I bought her the yearly pass... ugh..not me anymore , I go to the other end of bee caves to Finish Line where they are glad to see me, and my truck is actually washed and I feel like the price and tipping is earned and appreciated
DISHONEST INSPECTION STATION!! This is one of those places that will tell you you need things that you dont! The inspector said I needed new wiper blades because mine were torn and they were NOT! After I told them to fail me for it because I was not going to pay $15 per wiper blade the inspector and cashier told me not to come back! DONE!
Great place cleans cars very well good work ethic and Mason is a really great guy he actually taught me some life lessons as I was an employee there want to think u for that I had been fired for some miscomtions in my place of employment here but its ok they really are a good car wash and very good working employees and very good on there work and very loyal and trust worthy never had I once been miss treated here.
It was the worst experience!! I waited two hours and when I went to the front desk to ask why it was taking so long, I was told that they dont micromanage their employees. I asked how much longer it would take, I was told that they didnt know. I even asked the short fat Mexican supervisor and he was just rude!DO NOT waste your time and money there. They do a horrible job!!
STOP. DO NOT GO HERE. FIND ANOTHER CAR WASH!Avoid this place. All the reviews are correct, the service takes a while. Bear in mind, that comes at a cost. Because so many cars need to get washed, the place gets overwhelmed and they basically hustle through each one. But thats not my issue...Two things (and Ill be brief):1. They left two - TWO - full vertical scratches on my windshield. From bottom to top. No idea how. They claimed it wasnt their fault. Ok. Fine. But when I arrived I had a perfectly fine windshield, yet when I get it back, two massive scratches. Figure that logic out. Would not compensate for windshield either. Completely jerks about the whole thing.2. The washed my floor mats and put them in the trunk of my car. Whats the issue you ask? They were soapy and still very damp! I mean seriously, this place is a complete waste of your time.I moved from Georgia recently and couldnt tell you if there is a better car wash nearby. But what I CAN tell you: DO NOT go to this car wash.Keep it moving. If I had the ability to attach pictures, I would. Terrible service. Go in for a $50 car wash, come out having to buy a $500 windshield. Thanks guys. Really appreciate it...

2019-12-22I came here for an oil change since the car wash and vacuuming service were included. It took just under an hour of waiting and the waiting room isn’t bad. I was charged $73 for it all and I did tip the cleaners at the end - come with cash for that as everyone was tipping. I will come back for an oil change again - the additional cleaning was well worth the price for me.

2018-01-05Would’ve given zero stars if possible - worst car wash ever. They told me my car was ready - as I was going out to get it the guy wiping the car behind mine told my guy his job was unacceptable and he needed to wipe it more. When he finished I started to get in and noticed dog hair all over the dash - it hadn’t been touched. I asked the employee behind my car to tell my guy that was unacceptable, which he did. My guy said you don’t get the dash wiped unless u pay for Gold Star - false. I paid for bronze star. At this point I thought I’d give the manager some feedback - was only allowed to talk to the “head of detailing”. When I opened the back seat, there was dog hair on the leather seat - he said we don’t wipe seats. He did say my car was not ready and had the original guy work on it a few minutes longer. Horrified when I got home and actually examined it.

2018-03-05Completely agree with every review here. Wish I’d checked before flushing $70 down the toilet. If you want an expensive 40% car wash inside and out, this is the place. You can get a better wash from a cheerleader fundraiser in Taco Bell parking lot. If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d given. Photos provided so you know this isn’t review spam. I went home and had to re-wash. Brutal. Scam artist.

2019-06-02Been here 4 times before with descent results. Asked for packages today, as I was the first one there this AM and I was more concerned about vacuum and trim, was told the Gold Star was a way to go. My interior wasnt even vacuumed, floor mats werent removed, will never go here again. As far as I am concerned, there are no good car washes in Bee Cave/Lakeway. Better off going to the coin car wash and doing it myself.Tried posting photos of the garbage work - did not take. Check Yelp.

2017-03-16This place is local so I want to use it. But I cant justify $189 for a detail and hand wax that doesnt even do a basic clean. Here is a picture of my rear door. Notice the dirt that was left. A detailing job is supposed to get details on topic or basic cleanliness. Note that I ordered nothing else except an exterior wash and hand wax.

2020-08-19Ive been to several detail places around town and have thrown a pretty penny away looking for someone as detailed as my Type A personality. The true test is the inside windshield clean. I usually see the glare one streak marks as I drive off. Not this time. They also do oil changes, inspections, and fixed the chip in my windshield for a great price and were so fast that I barely had time to enjoy their wait center. The wait center has a scratch off machine, icecream, soda and snacks. As a marketing manager I was impressed. I got the basic subscription service and can add an inside clean for $15 as needed. Plus everyone wore a mask and following social distance protocol. Good job, Ill be referring my friends.

2016-11-08Love hate relationship with this place. They seem over-priced for the quality of work they offer. The silver star wash and detail is all I usually do now. They also are not good at getting the bugs off the front of your car. Paid $80 since I have an over-sized car for their higher end wash and detail, and there were bugs guts all over the front. These were recent ones, not some from 10 car trips ago.By the way, I have a Ford Edge, small cross-over vehicle, would not call the interior of that vehicle over-sized, but they do. So that adds $15 to any price of detail. My wife got an oil change here and they didnt have synthetic blend that her car requires, so they made her go full synthetic and it ended up costing $90. Wont do that again, will just pay $35 and wait at the dealer. The inside is nice and accommodating, staff has always been pretty decent to me. They are not the fastest around, so dont come here for a wash and detail if you are in a hurry. They do have just a wash only, but youd be better off at any gas station around town.

2017-10-05Great service side for oil changes. But the last time I paid over $340 to have my Mustang GT detailed, I ended up with dirt on the rocker panels and side panels and huge buff swirl marks in my clear coat! I talked to the manager, who wasnt exactly happy that I brought this to his attention. He kind of had them wipe over a few areas with dirty towels, but said he wasnt responsible for the swirls! He implied they were there before, which was absolutely not true! I was told they would wax and hand buff my car. Instead theyve left my car with a damaged clear coat that I will have to spend a great deal out of my pocket to have repaired! Not even an apology from this guy! Bad customer service! Unless youre just having an oil change and basic wash, steer clear of this place!

2016-11-12This place is the worst car wash Ive ever been to. I went in with the intention of having my car vacuumed and the inside detailed. I was talked in to getting a wax and polish and the salesperson said hed include the inside deep clean at no charge. I left my car there and they said theyd call when it was ready. They never called and didnt return a voicemail that I left prior to them closing, asking if it was ready. I ended up getting it the next morning. They had parked the car under a tree overnight, so there was dust and tree bits all over the car. They also hadnt vacuumed or cleaned the seats. I was told my receipt didnt reflect that level of service, which I guess is what I get for taking the salesperson at his word. $100+ later and I get back a dirty car. I sent the owners a complaint with pictures of the inside and outside of the car and didnt receive a response. Frequent at your own risk, youve been warned. Even if the service would have been good, theyd still be way overpriced.

2017-07-05Im honestly very surprised by the negative reviews. I love Coachworks and have been bringing my car to these guys regularly for the past few months. I generally just get the basic interior / exterior wash so I cant comment on their detailing services but theyve always done an excellent job for me! I always ask what they think the wait will be when I pull up as I usually just go during lunch and Im usually out in 20-30 minutes! Plus there are great lunch spots within easy walking distance. The staff has always been friendly helpful. Also - you can buy a $3 glass of wine while you wait. Need I say more?!
