The mexican latte is good and addictive. Expresso with mexican choclate.
The reason I’m giving coffee time three stars is because I had such an awful experience today. Usually every time I go I usually have a good experience but day I went through the drive-through and while I was ordering my usual order a white Irish and breakfast croissant but they weren’t serving breakfast and because I am visually impaired I asked the barista if she could please tell me what they had for lunch and her response was everything is on the menu and proceeded to give me attitude. I usually don’t get offended or expect for people to know that I am blind but a better response could’ve been given.
I dont believe they have an espresso machine of any sort. Had an almondmilk mocha which tasted like brewed coffee and almondmilk. I dont think they put any type of chocolate into my mocha.
I’ve been a times, their bubble tea is not even tea nor are the bubbles good, they’re cold and hard. They’re always empty and business seems slow, I see why. And their upstairs structure isn’t sturdy and when I sat up there to do some work, I felt as if I was going to just fall through the floor. Someone needs to call the fire department on that, I think it’s a safety hazard. Staff is nice though, that’s about it. At least one of the girls is, she’s the one with light brown hair and glasses, cute and sweet service.

I ordered a decaf latte from here and it tasted like brewed coffee mixed with milk. Almost every coffee shop has decaf espresso and I’m not sure if this place does. Next time I’ll just order a decaf coffee instead of being charged for a latte.
Love the customer service. The staff is always friendly and nice. The coffee is real good, and always perfect to drink. It is never too hot or too cold, just perfect. I wish the hours of operation were different though. Please open earlier.

Every time I go to get tapioca (boba), they are out. Defeats the purpose of having an item on the menu if you are always out. Your limited flavor selection is bad enough, but then to drive there and they’re out. This is the only local place that “offers” boba. Please consider being better stocked or remove from your menu.
I hadnt been to Coffee Time in a few months. The young man at the drive thru wasnt courteous AT ALL. He didnt say hello, just opened the window and looked at me, like what do you want. Wow...I was about to buy $15 of coffee. He needs some training on how to treat customers. The girl who gave me the coffee at the second window was super nice. Not the kid in glasses! I may not go back!
Their hot chocolate is delicious. It tastes like chocolate de abuelita. Love the atmosphere. The perfect place to study.
Ok, not great my classic caramel frozen coffee didnt taste like caramel. The place was nice, pretty decor. Next time I will skip the coffee and try the boba teas instead.

Outstanding service here! Always greeted with a smile. I can always make my coffee at home but coffee time gives it that extra umph to start my day.. whether its a black eye or green eye kinda day!
First and last time going there. The staff was rude and looked like they didnt want to be there. The last thing I need in the morning is to wake up in a good mood, excited to get my coffee and taco then to be greeted with negative people and their attitude. The taco was great and so was the coffee but because of the unprofessionalism of the staff I definitely will not be returning.

Great coffee. Excellent deserts. Comfortable seating. My only complaint is they close early for coffee joint. On the weekends is when you want to hang out and drink joe, but they close early. Such a shame.

Their service here is horrible!! I always order something and they give me the exact opposite. And the people there, especially that one girl, her attitude is horrible she didnt even ask me what size I wanted and she gave me the largest size. I definitely dont reccomend this place.

I like trying new coffee shops but this Coffee was nasty. Sorry I’m entitled to my own opinion. You could feel all the coffee grounds in the drink. It lacked that espresso taste. Maybe they didn’t pack it right or the grind of it? I don’t know. Wasted $5. If you want good coffee hit up MoonBeans coffee in McAllen.

Coffee was way too sweet. Decor...cheap art, very mishapen. Customer service was mediocre. My friend got the cookie crumble milkshake and it was phenomenal. So thats where the two stars are coming from...

8 am yesterday I drove up and asked the lady for a taco and a Mexican latte but Warm NoT Hot. She said NO PROBLEM.I took a sip around 5 minutes later and burnt my mouth spitting coffee all over the car. Since i didnt get a receipt I looked up the number to call and complain but the phone listed on google is no good.
Good atmosphere. Burger prices are a little steep, but worth it.

I reside in Weslaco, but am more than willing to drive to Alamo at least once a week to come here. Love the variety and the coffee jelly (when available).Totally worth it, way better than Starbucks.

If youre looking for over priced coffee, look no further! Theyve got it! The staff was a little eh, the coffee was okay, and the atmosphere is like a college dorm. But like the dorm of that guy who is like okay with partying, but hes not really cool, so he tries really hard to be. Yeah. That guy.
This place has a very nice ambiance. They play soft music, the girls are very friendly and were very helpful helping me choose a drink since it was my first time here. I ordered their Mexican Latte and Old Fashioned Cheesecake. The latte was served in a cute mug instead of the usual plastic cup and it was delicious! The cheesecake was very creamy. Everything is prepared to your liking. They were very kind to offer to add syrup to the cheesecake or marshmallow to the latte. Id love to come back and would definitely recommend that you visit this place.

2022-02-02Im sure they have good coffee, unfortunately Ill never find out as they require masks to be inside. Sure, theres the drive thru, but I wanted to sit and enjoy a drink. I dont patronize businesses that make me wear a mask and neither should anyone else.

I LOVE THEM FOR THAT. 💗Good place for lemonade.................taste like lemonade stir up hurricane.................anyways you really have to stir it . Its also tiny and cute for short people like me . check there insta .pls I also thought the prices were good but my receipt didnt say the same turns out they had changed there prices 😐😐😐. Cool environment 😎 I guess.......my dad would take me here but sadly he isnt here with us may he have a good time. 😌.

2022-06-11The caramel boba I ordered did not taste like caramel at all and when brought to their attention and asked for another shot of caramel they objected but finally gave us a small container with a yellow liquid substance that to be honest looked like spit in a container and didnt smell like caramel at all and they even charged extra for their mistake. I just threw it away since I wasnt sure what it was. I visited from Houston and I dont recommend this place at all. Aside from the two employees that were working at the time were so rude and unprofessional.

2022-04-05This place is at least five years old, and its a gem in the tiny town of Alamo, Tx. The atmosphere is chill and pleasant, and the customer service is above decent. They are friendly and helpful. Its the perfect place to socialize, study or do some work without having to put some time into making a snack or drink for yourself or friends.

2019-12-27My fiancé and I come down to McAllen/Alamo every Christmas to visit family and no joke we make sure to visit Coffee Time multiple times while we’re here! The ambiance, the drinks, and the people who work here/own this place all make the experience wonderful! We’re from Houston where there are coffee shops after coffee shops, and there is just something truly special about Coffee Time that separates them from the rest! I highly recommend getting the White Chocolate Raspberry Mocha! Can’t wait to keep coming back and getting my Coffee Time fix😉
