I have lived in the property for 4 years and I can say they have over the top customer service. I have no complaints whatsoever, and help is always available on a timely manner… Jennifer Miller has always provided excellent service and is always on top of things when it comes to helping out tenants.
Amanda, the Manager is awesome! She is super responsive to all emails or any issues. Ive lived here a year and just renewed my lease for another year. I had a bee issue in my fireplace, she had the exterminator out the next day or two and had it fixed immediately. Maintenance has also been great! I moved back to Addison to be closer to work. Previously I had lived in Addison for over 15 years.
Great place to live, quiet and very personal with management. Team always shows concern for residents and maintenance has always been outstanding. I’ve signed two leases with them and never regretted it. Thank you guys Joselyn and staff. If I wasn’t getting a house I’d still be with you guys.
My husband and I have lived here for over 2 years and we thoroughly enjoy it! When we were considering moving to this apartment complex (after a really bad experience living in Mesquite), we ran into a young woman with her daughter and she said she loves living at Communities of Bent Tree and has been here for 9 years. That helped us make our decision! We have an updated/remodeled apartment on the first floor. The price is reasonable and its relatively close to everything in Addison. Also a good area for walking/running/biking. I dont usually feel unsafe here. Ive never, ever seen an email from management bribing people for 5-star reviews. Every time weve asked for assistance or made a comment we get a quick response. We had a bug problem one time in the 2 years that we lived here and as soon as I said something, they sent a pest control person over and the bugs were gone after a day or two. its perfect for just the 2 of us and for the season of life were in. I recommend!
I lived here for over two years, but now have to move for my job. This property may be older compared to newer apartment complexes in Dallas, however it makes up for that in amazing staff, great prices, and spacious units. It’s been my favorite place to rent from thus far.
Communities of Bent Tree has been my home for over a decade and it has been a great experience. Definitely the best maintenance guys around. Always thoughtful office staff make it easy to communicate and get things done.Largest floor plans in Addison for sure.I tried looking elsewhere to compare but literally couldn’t get the square footage anywhere else. Special thanks to management for always being flexible.
In the 3 months I have lived here we have had carpenter ants, cockroaches, TWO leaks in the ceiling, a broken AC/heater, and now a laundry room that never works. Not to mention we were promised a free laundry room, water, and wifi included in our rent and it wasnt, big surprise. The people in the office are nice so thats where my star comes from, but save your money and do not move to this awful place.
My husband and I have been here for almost 2 years we started out in a one bedroom loved the community so much we decided to stay renew our lease but upgraded to a bigger place. i have lived on both the Brook and Fountain side of the complex. when we need maintenance it is done in a timely matter. Amanda is an amazing property manger handles everything quickly is always available. The leasing staff is amazing they are always willing to help answer any question we may have. If you are looking for a place to call home but also be treated with respect this is your spot. Stop looking and come here
My wife and I have been living here for over a year now. This is the best place to live in DFW. We searched for a good apartment complex for three years and finally found this one. I dont know what people are talking about when they report pest or maintenance issues. Ive never seen rodents and all my maintenance needs get answered in a very timely manner. The complex is full of productive, friendly people and families. The staff are professional. They work to make this place feel like home, like a community. They want you to be comfortable. Choosing to sign for a second year was an easy choice. Its also a safe complex. They have courtesy patrol and installed these super bright lights to address issues with peoples rims getting stolen. Now you can walk your dog at 10pm and feel confident that no one will mess with you. I appreciate the lights.
I’ve lived at this community for about a year and a half, and I’ve had no complaints. Any situation that I’ve needed taken care of, has been done promptly and swiftly. We’ve all felt some type of effect from COVID-19 and honestly, they’ve gone above and beyond for their tenants. The ladies in the office are warm, empathetic and sweet. I’m definitely renewing again.
I love living here!!! While many other places werent able to work with my circumstances Amanda and her amazing team at CBT went above and beyond to welcome me and my pup into the community! I just renewed and its the first time in awhile I havent wanted to move when the lease was up. The office staff and maintenance staff are always very friendly and on top of keeping this place beautiful! Huge community and I love the CARES team providing social events for every type of person living here. Great through all seasons and Im grateful to keep living here.
I rented an apartment here with my mom. I began moving in and started filling out the condition form they requested back. When I first got to my apartment, a nice lady introduced herself as the neighbor and said “this is a nice place it’s quiet but it’s nice if you need a roof over your head”. Wondering what she meant, I paid a little closer attention. Not even one night spent at that apartment, I looked up into the air duct (wondering if there may be mold). Yes most certainly there was with a massive amount of water damage.Usually when mold introduces itself on the surface, it’s already in the structure too. I have never noped out of an apartment faster than I did there. Thankfully I got out of that lease and am getting my money back. But for warning, check the air ducts people! Know what you are breathing in before you get sick, especially when we don’t need our immune systems compromised with COVID going around. Also the railing on the balcony was originally not secured to the building, there was mildew on the balcony. I was expecting a move in ready apartment, not a fixer upper.
I lived in Addison for over 20 years but moved away for several years. Im now in my third unit at CBT and its my favorite. Very roomy floorplans with GREAT closets at all three complexes (Ive lived at each of them), and I am currently at the Oaks. Its a smaller complex so you get to see and speak to your neighbors.Ive lived in 50+ year old complexes as well as brand-new complexes around the metroplex. They all have good and bad things about them. Sure you could go to one of the several mid-rise complexes in Addison, but good luck of the staff knowing who you are, or your unit number, or more importantly having anything fixed in a timely manner. Or how about trying to sometimes find parking near your unit unless you pay $100 for a reserved spot, and you end up on a different floor with groceries taking the elevator or stairs to your unit. (This happened to me at two different mid-rises). Dont get me started on the visitor parking at some of the mid-rises. Id rather park at my door in a covered spot for a nominal fee, and have plenty of visitor parking available.Yes it is an older complex, but they do take good care of it, and the fellas clean up any random litter that may have blown around or dropped by someone. The new windows help with the electric bills for sure. The 50+ year old complex unit I was previously in was half this size with original windows and my electric bill was twice as much. The rent price is very fair and comparable to units of the same size around town. The maintenance staff are friendly, quick and thorough to get any service ticket taken care of, and Ive not had any issues with waiting days/weeks for anything to be fixed. The office staff, especially Amanda, Denai and Jessica, are super helpful and will answer any questions and will deal with issues as soon as they are alerted of them.I am happy I made the decision to move back to Addison, and happy to call CBT home.
Overall the community has really taken a drastic downfall with customer service and property maintenance over the last several years. I was advised over 5 years ago that the outside buildings would be painted. The laundry rooms are not working, because the equipment is old. The materials used for updates is cheap.
Definitely give this property a look. For roughly 9 years, my folks and I have been residents, moving between three different units. If youve done your homework, youve likely noticed prices are competitive per square foot. If you are looking for shiny and new with high ceilings and fancy trim, go down the street (I did and came back twice! lol) to pay much more for much less. Each unit we moved into was super clean, two of the three had been completely updated kitchens and fixtures. As for the Leasing office, on the whole, the best I have worked with (~5). Ever moved into a property where the leasing office was your best friend --- until you move in! At any point we didnt feel like we were asking too much. A particularly cool thing was putting in a handicap parking spot for Mom and Dad close to their unit -- without Dad asking. Then there was when Dad died, they thoughtfully called and came by.Most recently, with the whole COVID nonsense, we were having trouble with rent -- + 10 days late two times. On BOTH they waived late fees -- do what!? A month later they presented me with a payment plan agreement that would avoid feed in the coming months.Last but not least, heres the ding. Security is in fact an issue, currently. This is surprising with the Addison police station 5 mins away. Being said, we are one of minority properties that are not gated. So, I figure inherently, theres vulnerability. Am I afraid to going on walks in the early AM and late PM ---- nope. Did I get a safety warning from Addison Police when I left my trunk open -- Yep. Do I need to make sure I lock my car so my pricy speakers arent stolen --- ummmm...oops, gotta go!
Ive lived here for almost 2 years - its the first place I called home in Dallas. Most people Ive met in the community (mainly dog owners) are friendly, Ive had several neighbors who have watched our dog while weve gone away for the weekend (which is much better than boarding!) Our maintenance requests always get taken care of in a timely fashion - usually same day! The office staff has been open and eager to speak with us when weve had any questions or concerns. The new management company has done a lot of upgrades to the property and buildings - we especially Love the dog park! Love the location, love our neighbors, love the staff!
I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY! My family has been here for a year now and we can officially say that we will remain here for yet another. Our experience with Amanda and her team has been nothing short of a 5 star experience. Our leasing journey began with the office Manager Amanda McMakin. I have never had such a positive experience with an office manger in all of my rental history. She puts so much effort into being available for her staff and her residents. If you can’t reach her at a moment, you’ll get a response within 24 hours. She is a very strong leader who is always driven for success, and is humble enough to use any negative experiences as training opportunities to ensure that she and her staff are always at the top of their game! The office staff works hard to make personal connections with all of their residents and you will always be treated like family. The staff here is very understanding and extremely supportive! We love our home!
I moved in here 6 months ago and absolutely love it. I first saw their ratings and loved that they had some good ratings, the office and maintenance staff are all friendly and every time me and my kids come in the office, they interact with them and give them treats. Right now, there is a new company that took over and are making positive changes to this aging property. I got new windows ...DOUBLE PANE! :) It has made a huge difference on my electric. The grounds are pretty much clean, they had some issues with the pools being closed for a bit, but that was because they were updating them. I love the fact it is safe here, no one really sees our community, not like it is on a majorly busy street. A few weeks ago they did a Taco Night for us. I do miss the old staff, but I like the new one as well, I think Heller and Julia are still there and some of the same guys from maintenance team. I will be renewing for sure.
I moved in over a year ago and im so glad I chose Communities of bent tree to call home, maintenance is always done in a timely matter & office staff is always very helpful. The exterior of the property always looks amazing. Love the preplanned residents events that the office staff hold. Thank you for welcoming me anytime I walk in the office. Also Jennifer is pretty awesome!
Im really confused reading the reviews on this place because I couldnt have asked for a better first apartment for my boyfriend and myself. Im sure he feels the same. Weve only lived here for about four or five months, but Jennifer has been top notch since we moved in. She remembers our names from when she helped sign us up and where we live; if I have to pick up a package from the front office, shes already seen my car and is retrieving the package before I walk in the front office. Our neighbors are the best people on the PLANET, so thankful. They have all lived at the complex for more than a year (a lot of the residents are long-time residents, too; dont fix what aint broken, right?). One of them is even an Addison police officer, which is also something that I love about this complex: with the police station and the fire department being so close by, this is where a lot of first responders call home. There are about SEVEN dog parks the size of tennis courts, next to actual tennis courts. Amazing pools. Its in a really quiet area. All the windows just got replaced, and theyre the best things ever. Double-pane (quieeeeet), energy-efficient, perfect seals, so easy to open, beautiful faux wood slat blinds to cover them. I bought curtains thinking Id need them, but the blinds do a great job of keeping light out. Everything works wonderfully in my apartment, Ive never had a bug problem. I had an extremely clean apartment moving in. Im so thankful we chose these apartments.
Moved just last month and I have to say I love it!! They just finished installing my new windows and a new shingles. I have my little baby, my dog and they let us get treats in the office. I cant wait they are building a dog park by my apartment also. I have not gotten to use the pool yet but the office says they are going to make those nice and they will be open by next summer. The staff in the office is so nice and professional you can tell that they really care.
The staff at Communities of Bent Tree have been beyond amazing. AMANDA is incredibly accommodating and it is obvious she cares about the Tenants as well as her work. The leasing office is well taken care of and upon entering the facilities I always receive a warm welcome. The apartments are well taken care of! I highly recommend touring the property. Great location, fabulous staff!
I have lived in these apartments for over a year and they are very quiet. The a/c units are old but they are installing new ones. The rent is a good price for the area and they are not ghetto either. Also maintenance always responds back to my request very quickly. The are worth the price for them compared to what you will pay at other places to live in Addison and there is not a ton of kids running around.
I dont have anything bad to say about my time here so far. I love, love, love the dog par but it helps that I have a big dog who cant fit through the fencing. Its such great place to socialize for me and my dog. Ive met a lot of people out there, which makes living here much more fun! I also really love the month events the Cares team provides. Ive only missed 1 and always look forward to the next event.I havent had any issues with anything living here, havent had to submit a maintenance request or anything.
I have lived at Bent Tree for a number of years and although I can live almost anywhere I choose to stay. Many improvements have been made to the property over the past year such as the significant landscaping which included adding an outstanding dog park as well as the installation of energy efficient windows in every unit (electric bill has been cut in half) just to name a few. This coupled with the pleasant and always ready to help staff makes living here a no brainer. Recently I was traveling for business and with one phone call to Amanda and her team she took care of an important apartment related matter for me that I couldnt because of being out of town...thank you Amanda. Check out this property. Youll be glad you did.
DO NOT LIVE HERE ...If you like to hear everything your neighbors are doing and the outside noise as cars drive by ALL day this is the perfect place for you. The walls and windows will allow you to hear everything from the showers flowing to babies crying at 4 am. The apartment manager Joshua Mizell and assistant manager Shanna Gregory-Saxton are useless when it comes to helping you, they wont even pick up there direct phones. They will email you all day but refuse to have phone or face-to-face conversations. The apartments do have a large floor plan but it isnt worth living it an apartment where maintenance has cut corners completely. My ceiling has been cracking in random places since I moved in, all they do is glue and paint over it. Packages will be given to you 4 months after being delivered. Your rent will be raised and you will not be notified until someone finds the paperwork that notified you. These apartments arent worth it based on management & maintenance alone. DO NOT LIVE HERE they will make everything seem really nice and affordable and you will realize why quickly.
The apartments are nice, old but well maintained. The office and maintenance staff are not great. They all seem nice and have never been rude to me, but none of them seem to care about their job. They close the office early without telling anyone, the maintenance staff doesnt fix anything and always leave a mess behind. Maintenance staff even left my front door unlocked one day for who knows how long until I got home from work.
3 years living at the Communities of Bent Tree. I have enjoyed my stay. The staff is friendly and helpful and I cannot say I have ever had a bad experience while living here. Amanda is the manager and she has a kind heart for her tenants. Thank you for being my home for 3 years!
The staff is extremely rude! I lived there nearly 3 years and this management group took over almost a year ago and once that happened I was so unhappy with my living situation I signed a shorter lease to get out of there. You pay over $900 in rent and they cant even call you when THEY sign off on your package to come pick it up. They say they have so many packages being delivered so thats why they dont notify you. Thats a poor excuse and not a legitimate reason to have your residents packages without notifying. Ive had packages sitting in there for 10+ days. I just moved out (best decision) and I had a package delivered there because there was a mix up with my job and they sent to my old address, went to pick it up because Fed Ex notified me that it was signed for and left at the front office. The young woman working said tell whoever sent you the package just to resend it and acted as if i had no right to be pissed off. As if its just that easy to get a package resent without going through a process. It was signed for and left there, it should be there!! I cant explain how furious I was because even after moving out I was still dealing with the same disorganization and poor service from this property.I had to call 3 times to tell them to fix the sink. They said priority services come first it had been a week and I wasnt able to use my freaking sink. But thats not a priority.Use your rent money toward a better property. They also ran a contest while I lived there for ratings. Give them 5 stars and youre entered in for a prize drawing.
I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY and my neighbors and the people that I have met here, however they have serious issues to work on.The Bad - Maintenance1. The outisde of my 1st level apartment has flooded numerous times whenever it rains. I have reached out multiple times to inquire on if they can work on landscaping anything! Water literally has come up to my legs where I can’t even walk into the door of my apartment, all the grass is gone and from the inside, they only care about the front view apartments near the “Models to show”. I’ve sent videos to my leasing agent, texted her multiple times...contacted maintenance myself..nothing.2. TODAY, I come home from being out of town for a week to find that my apartments kitchen sink flooded my entire kitchen out of nowhere. I called the “emergency hotline” because it’s sunday to get no one to return my call. Currently my apartment is still flooding and smells of mildew. I also texted my leasing agent who was so responsive before I moved in...just to get ignored now that I live here.UPDATE: they called the next day and got a tech out immediately. Giving a extra star3. Hot water issues, We haven’t had hot water in a week4. $300 PACKAGES HAVE BEEN STOLEN TWICE OFF OF MY DOOR STEP. I ASKED IF SOMEONE COULD GO GRAB THE PACKAGE FOR ME, AFTER HAVING TO RE-BUY THE PRODUCT, AND THEY SAID NO ALSO.The Good -1. I really like the guy leasing agent that works in the office, he is very responsive and seems to care2. Decently priced , great location,3. No major bug issues, even on the first floor
I just want to say that the staff at this community are some of the most professional and caring women I’ve ever dealt with and if there were 10 stars I would’ve wished there were 20. Amanda the manager and Stella the leasing agent are some of the most understanding women I’ve ever dealt with, their just real. Period. I would recommend this apartment complex for BUSH!!! My apartment was beautiful I had stainless steel appliances, beautiful plantation shutter blinds, the hardwood flooring in the kitchen and foyer gave it a nice classy edge. All in all if I didn’t need to relocate back home to Michigan I would’ve stayed until it was time to buy a home. And to Amanda I’ll never forget the compassion that’s in your heart, and to Stella “keep staying Slayed girl cause you stay on point” xoxoxoxo ~Kendall Donaldson
Hate seeing bad reviews here, must be some hateful people!! Ive lived at this property 18 months. I am not going anywhere, if Ive had an issue, gets taken care of. Front office staff is great, maintenance team gets it done. Awesome property and my pups love the doggy park!! Happy camper here!!
The apartment was old and not designed well enough. I had only one day to check out the apartment, and they showed me a different floor plan than the one I would rent because it is still occupied. They did renew the appliances and renovated the place a bit, which is nice. However, the payment process, move out, and move in process could be much much better. I need to come in person to pay some pet fees and move out fees which I find very annoying. The staff were okay but not professional enough for my opinion. I called twice to get some explanation about my final bill. Each time, the people answered the phone and tell me the billing people is not in the office and they will return my call when she was back. Did not get a phone call back until the bill passed one month to let me know I need to pay before weekend before they send this to debt collector. Will give you notice that you still had outstanding balance for the rent after they incurred several days of late fees. I understand that it was my fault to forget to pay, but I was expecting at least an email or phone call to let me know before any fees incurres.Bottom line, if you need cheap apartment, then I guess you can for it. People in the communities are nice. You just had to deal with old system and unprofessional staff.
I signed my lease with the previous management team and was nervous when I found out it had been taken over by Willmax. Thankfully though the leasing agents and management are super sweet and helpful. If I do have a issue or question they are happy to resolve quickly. I do typically speak to Rada and she is always prompt with putting in work orders or requests while remaining pleasant and patient. The apartments are a bit older but remodeled so they are a decent price for the area and stays pretty cool in the summer as I turn off the ac when I go to work. I typically dont do this but want to express how happy I am with my apt. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in th Addison area.
Me and my husband have lived here a month and dont know what the bad reviews are talking about. Weve had zero problems with any noise, maintenance has been here anytime weve put in a work order, and we love our new place! Office staff is always nice and accommodating - we dealt with Radha who was always prompt, professional, and no matter how many times we bugged her about anything, she was always very sweet and understanding. I look forward to our time here - my only complaint would be the parking - its not very well planned out but thats not the managements fault as it was already like this when they came on. Im hoping they will designate at least one space per unit so it isnt an issue but either way there are always open spaces even if theyre not close by.
Going on 2yrs living here and I love the community. Their maintenance is very good and work orders get done in a timely matter.. I know things happen... Speaking about the water issue..But Jennifer inparticular always make us feel welcome and she is very passionate about resolving any problems I might have.. I love her energy and her eagerness to help every time we see her... Shes a keeper.. Thank you Jennifer!
Just moved in and my experience could not have been more perfect. The office kept in contact with me from day one. They told me what was expected from me and made my move day an amazing one. I love my apartment, it looks out onto the tennis courts, it is nice and quite and the office staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went amazing.
I just wanna say I’ve been living here for about 3 or 4 years now and I love Love it it’s quiet there’s not a lot traffic going on, it’s peaceful and everyone is very welcoming from maintenance to the staff Jennifer and Amanda are very awesome they’re very understanding and I recommend anyone living in communities of Bent Tree, I love it here…..❤️
I Have been a resident here for close to 3 years and my experience here has been horrible, We dont have no hot water, you have to cut on the sink and the tub to get the water to get hot, and it takes about 25 minutes to warm up the foundation on my building has lefted from a tree that was behind my apartment and has caused stuctured damage causing it to rain in my dinning room, and my windows to be busted out 3 times from branches from the tree, my back door is separate from the frame do to the rain damage causing my door not to lock properly. Ive had 3 animals get into the walls of my bathrooms and die. A Cat, Possum and a Big Rat...I have been here through management changes, and although the new Company Wilmax has promised to make changes, the things that has occurred in a attempt to get things address there was no attempts to accommodate me as the tentant. They addressed this situation as if these things was of the normal. And because they removed the dead animals, I should be satisfied, I slept in my car because the smell was so bad I couldnt sleep in the apt. And with no empathy or satisfying anything that would be consider fair. I have not had a good experience here at all. This property has a lot of work to do before it will ever be looked at as a nice place in Addison to live. I really like the area and the size of my apartment, and wished that the company cared more about the tenants, and keeping us as tenants.
There is a endless mud puddle in our backyard which management will not address. It is a breeding ground for mosquitos and other insects. For the amount of money they are charging, there is no reasonable answer to why they refuse to address it. Aside from greed. It is unlivable at this point and they told us there is nothing they can do until September.
Horrible management, for every single issue is taking a week or a month to take care of it, the staff are rude and acting like they are a owner, dont waste your money by moving here because this apartments has so much problems and they dont fix them they always have excuses for not helping you with their apartment issues. the funny part is they acting like you bothered them by telling them your apartment have issues and you need to fix it.
****CRAZY HOT Water system ***I don’t think it is worth staying in this community. We have been having hot water issues very frequently . Especially in the winter it is going to be very crazy. Last week ,there was no hot water at all for more than a week. In less than a week ,we are facing the same issue agin today NO hot water . You face the hot water issue very frequently. I do understand that residents wee asked to go and take the hot water shower in other available apartments.
BEWARE- this complex uses bait and switch tactics , went in good faith to rent a unit for my family- my husband is literally terminally ill and housebound. We were shown one unit near the front office and then once they con you into giving them the hold money they try to lease you something else! After you find out that you arent getting the type of apartment (like the model) you thought they refuse to give you your money back!
I hate to be the one to leave a bad review but if you were my friend and were looking at living here, I would tell you otherwise...I have lived here for a little under three years and honestly have nothing good to say. From maintenance issues (bugs eating the walls, water leaks from upstairs, laziness of repairs, i.e. spray painting water stains and caulking holes in the walls,), rude staff members, not receiving notice before anyone entered my apartment, to leaving poison on the floor within reach of my pet and even having an entire laundry room down and unusable for 5+ months (and still counting)... to even more.If you were my friend, I would hope that youd take my advice and look elsewhere because this place is not where you want to live... I can attest to that.
I waited a year to post my review. This is friendly pretty quiet community. Management has always been professional and helpful. Theyve responded quickly to all of my concerns and addressed them in a timely manner. Id definitely recommend to others . The location is great close to shopping , restaurants, and major highways.
The management company has promised so many upgrades, yet its the middle of summer & the pool still isnt fixed! Plus numerous alerts about people breaking into cars and homes. Yet they want to micro manage everything else you do on the property. Save yourself the time & money. Stay away.
1. There are animals in the wall!! Scratching all the time!2. AC is extremely noisy. I have to turn it off before going to bed.3. Appliances are old.4. The windows are not double glazing, it was cold in the winter.5. Do not be fooled by the leasing office, office looks good though. Conclusion: do not live here.
Service has become very fast and reliable. Pricing is good for the area. The problem is minimal and they spray every wednesday so you can sign up if you notice a problem and it goes away. The front office personel have always been nice to me, no issues. I have lived here for 2 years and I am currently still living here.
I lived at Bent Brook from 2012 up to the present. Communities of Bent Tree, Under the New Management, is a NICE Place to Live, based on the following grounds:* CLEAN..., PEACEFULL..., and Quite...* The Staff @ the Concierge are friendly and approachable.* All of my Service Requests are taken cared of. Their Maintenance Crew are respectful and polite.* The Property Manager, Amanda Mcmakin is VERY PROFESSIONAL,in dealing with her Tenants. She exactly knows what she is doing. When Ive experienced a service like this, It makes me feel like..., Im a VALUED Resident. When a problem arise on my Lease Contract, Oh my God!, I cant sleep! So, I sent Amanda, a brief, informative, concise email.I came home after work, I checked my email..., and I cant say it by words how HAPPY I am. Amanda, resolve the problem in a timely fashion... Tears of JOY comes from Idonas eyes. Thank you so much Amanda, for your help! I truly appreciate it. I feel blessed...* From the scale of 1- 5, I will rate Communities of Bent Tree a 5, as Excellent. Definitely, I will refer CBT to my friends. GUYs, keep up the good work !!!
Extremely unsafe place to live. Management is horrible and has a hundred reasons why she can’t do this or that to assist with any problems in your apartment and there are always problems with AC, plumbing, cabinet doors falling off, etc. Once you sign that lease that don’t even know who you are anymore.
Bent tree trials apartments are new one, good community, kind of gated community and free covered parking.Bent tree oaks/fountains are old one, no free covered parking and no gated community.Trials apartment area is more with less price compared to oaks/fountains.I Do not understand why the price is more for bent tree oaks/fountains. Please do not prefer bent tree oaks/fountains.
Do not live here. Cars get broken into here ALL the time. It’s not a safe complex, I wouldn’t go outside at night alone. Ever.Constant problems with AC units and water (see reviews). Nasty bug problem. Worst of all, they have a real MOLD issue here.Dont get me started on the management.....
I’m so sick I’m telling them about pest control we pay monthly for pest control and no one shows up to our apartment monthly we have to call them to request the exterminator , when I tell them to bring the exterminator they never show up or act like they’re going to bring someone which that never happens I’m so sick of this apartment having fire ants it’s ridiculous!!!
I would definitely recommend this place especially if you have a small family . The staff is wonderful and caring . The maintenance is on top of your request . They make you feel like a part of the family which is appreciated. I moved from here a few months ago and I sure do miss living there . 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2022-06-24I am convinced the management does NOT CARE to fix the laundry room. After 6 years of complaints, the only update they have made is taking the old vending machine out of here and switching to a cardless system for the washers. The laundry room looks this way most of the time. The washers are broken ALL the time, dryers too. They raised their prices for worse quality. Just today, I lost money AGAIN because of the malfunctioning washers. It is absolutely frustrating. They always reply with the usual customer service we will fix this issue but it has been 7 years having the same problems! It is always dirty and broken.

2022-06-03I made this place home for 5 years, it’s a terrific place to live at and I really enjoyed every minute of my stay there (had to move for a job relocation). It’s a beautiful community nestled in the heart of Addison. The leasing office staffs were always very nice and helpful to me each time I needed something done especially the director of leasing Ms. Fuentes, she’ll always willing to work with you on any leasing situation that might arise.Thank you CBT staff.

2021-09-25I moved to Community of Bent Tree Brooks in April of 2019.Jennifer Miller strive hard to getting me in when I had some rental issues. She went over and beyond to work with me to clean what had me bound down from renting anywhere. Now it’s 2021 and I’m still here. I have seen staff come and go. But she still here I call here when I need something done. The Maintenance 2 men older gentleman been here are the best as well.Amanda the office mgr cool as well. I love living here! I feel safe with the completely and appreciate them. I love the renovated apartments. Moving to this complex has made 2 1/2 excitement! I love my new townhome apartment.

2020-01-06So many promises.. none kept. Weve had water leaks that damage our furniture and electronics, leaks in the master bedroom( from a tree that continued to grow into the building (which i reported months before the leak)that damaged more furniture, the ac has been a point of issue since our first year. It was never fixed properly, continued to leak until this day. When we first moved in, we were told that new flooring would come with our unit before we moved in. That never happened. Had a hole in 3 windows that we taped over with clear tape. Nothing done about it until recently (2 years later) when the new group replaced the windows. Weve had so many service and management NO-SHOWS for agreed upon services or meetings. Maybe the new regime will get this place into shape. I just know, Im not sticking around to find out. For the price of these units, go buy a house. Also, they have bribed most everyone there into giving favorable reviews. I still have the emails where they say theyll knock off $100 from the rent for a month if, IF , residents would post 5 star reviews. You want to know how theyre getting any 5 star ratings? Bribery. Not to mention, they decided to have my parking blocked off for foundation repair. Never gave notice. I came home and there was yellow caution tape all over the place. Since I lived next door to the manager, I popped over to ask her what was going on. She and her husband tell me that Im unprofessional and sorry for bothering them. Then her husband proceeds to get in my face and threaten me.This is a horribly run group. Btw.. they never even once offered to repair or replace or damaged belongings. Again, that was caused by their negligence.

2021-09-17I lived here for more than 5 years and moved to Plano (for location) in 2020. These apartments were excellent for the price. Perhaps a bit more than surrounding areas but after having been to other places, it is worth it. For the entire time I was here, I received nothing but excellent customer service. Never had a problem with the maintenance. I especially had the pleasure to befriend Yoselyn, who was always more than happy to help and would always go out of her way to resolve any issues. She just had the most wonderful attitude. Not once did I ever see her being partial in her interactions or be less than excellent. This is hard to find when their jobs are so hectic. This made my stay there very memorable, which was important to me during my stay.

2022-01-18I have been living here over a year I honestly can say I have never had an issue with anything office staff is very friendly Anytime I need maintenance they are literally at my door with in 15 minutes of calling the office... Rent pricing is reasonable After my 1st lease was up they were going to raise my rent but they decided not to raise it too drastically because I was always on time with my rent which was pretty cool of them... it is very quiet at night everyone keeps to themselves so there is never any drama and I love that... I have to say I definitely recommend these apartments.

2022-06-07I have lived here since I was 9 years old!! I’m 32 now! What can I say, I just can’t seem to leave! I’ve had the opportunity to live on each property but now that I have my little family, we have chosen to stay at Bent Tree Oaks. My neighbors are awesome! The convenient dog park right outside my unit is the best! Any time I’ve ever needed help with a problem that called for maintenance, the office has always been prompt and so has maintenance. All the fun activities that are held inside and outside of the office are always fun, including the morning breakfast that is sometimes handed out from the front of the office as residents head to work. Even though things have changed since the pandemic, I’m hoping that once things all go back to normal after this pandemic, they bring back all those fun things that makes the Communities of Bent Tree so great! All three complexes are always so well kept from the outside and lighting at night is good too! Overall, I have enjoyed calling this community my home for 23 years!

2019-02-15This complex is on a rapid decline. Weve had lots of issues with the attitude at the leasing office, getting maintenance to perform timely repairs, subpar facilities under constant construction, management treating tenants like disobedient children, failure to address parking violations (or provide enough parking for streetside units), cheap and noisy appliances... You name it, they fail at it. The final straw, however, is the installation of hundreds of overly bright (think STADIUM bright) floodlights every hundred feet along every single building. The lights stay on all night and shine straight into the windows of the second-floor units. What used to be a cozy little courtyard now looks and feels like a prison yard, making our apartment (especially our balcony) a miserable place to be. Unless you particularly enjoy feeling like a convict, I strongly recommend you choose any of the other similarly-priced apartment complexes within walking distance of this one. Weve just signed a lease elsewhere after two years of living here and feel like move-in day cant arrive fast enough.Adding a star for installing those lights before we renewed our lease. Good timing.
