What an amazing experience buying my new Stinger through Community Kia! From the deposit to picking it up, Ed Morton was there with every step. I wanted the GT2 trim in Ceramic Silver, and he helped make that happen. His communication, professionalism, and personal interaction was nothing short of amazing. He kept me informed as the status changed while awaiting my new cars arrival and walked me through setting it up once it got here. The entire staff was so kind and personable! Vy, the financial manager, made this transaction absolutely painless as well. We have 2 other Kias from another dealership, and and we love the vehicles but the purchase of those was nothing like this one. We will be returning here to see Ed for our next Kia for sure!! Thank you Community Kia, and thank you Ed for making this such a fabulous experience!
We recently leased a Kia Niro EV from Community Kia. Our sales consultant was Jocelyne, and she was so kind and helpful through the entire process and allowed us to take our time making the decision on what car would work best for our family. Gerald in finance was also such a pleasure. The vibe was very relaxed through the purchase and the contract signing process, and the smooth jazz Gerald had playing in his office was cherry on top of one of the most pleasant dealership experiences we have ever had.
I assisted my Mother in purchasing a new vehicle. She decided on the Kia Seltos. I found that some were available at Community Kia. I contacted Ed Morton who was referred to us by a family member saying they had a great experience. Our experience was pretty straight forward. I made contact with Ed, I let him know I work everyday and had a day off and we would like to finalize everything before coming in. My mother is on a set income and we had a price in mind which we found in the Kia Seltos price listed. We drove two hours to the dealership on the morning we agreed to meet. Ed was about 30-45 minutes late and even though I tried to square everything away prior to going, we were still at the dealership for 3 hours. On top of that, there was an additional $2,000 tacked onto the price for a package that we did not request nor were we told it would be on there. I was not very happy. This put the price over what we were wanting to spend but knowing I work everyday currently and there are no vehicles available anywhere we proceeded with the transaction. I still gave 4 stars due to initially the customer service was great, but other than the initial communications, we did not have a great experience.
Had an appointment set for an oil change. We got there early to try to avoid traffic. Thinking we would have to wait for 45 minutes for the appointment time but they didnt waste any time getting us in and out. They completed the service quickly and had us back on the road in no time. Clean facility and friendly staff.
I have had 3 Kias and purchased with Community Kia in Baytown for my last 2 vehicles. Ed Morton is very patient and helpful and he is who I have purchased from both times. I highly recommend him!My experience with the finance manager Gerald was the absolute best experience I have ever had while buying a car. He answered all 100 of my questions and was very sincere and real with me. I did not feel like I was a number to him but someone he actually cared about helping.Ask for Ed and Gerald!!
There will never be enough words to describe how loyal I have been to this Kia dealership. All of the vehicles that my family and I have owned have been purchased here because of the quality in customer service. In total, we have purchased 5 Kia vehicles with 0 problems and regrets. Every time we are looking to upgrade, the first place we look into is Kia. From their warranties all the way to their sales specialists, the quality at this place is spectacular. I will keep making business with this company. As years pass, their technology not only keeps getting better, but it’s very hard to compete against their affordable prices! Go Kia!
A waste of time and rude. I worked with Ed. Imagine taking the time to figure out what type of car you want, which make and model and then driving 30 minutes + to a location because of its glowing reviews to have the experience I was subjected to. The man who came to assist me took over an hour of my time just to waste it. He seemed to maKe a point to be as informal as possible, never once calling by my name or even bothering to use an honorific. I was nobody to this salesperson and it showed. He almost seemed to go out of his way to make this such a dead and impersonal experience. I would have been ready to sign that moment until he brought out the final amount and it was suddenly padded with an extra $3K of extras and features I did not request and in some cases did not want. And it wasnt as if this was not made clear from the beginning that such an amount would kill a sale, but instead of giving me a heads up, he waited until we were almost done to surprise me with this. And he seemed to have the nerve to act as if we were wasting HIS time, as if we had not been clear from moment one. So either we was ignoring or not listening to me, or he didnt care. The worst part was at the end. After he effectively killed the sale, he started speaking to my friend, who was accompanying me for this, as if he was the dominant partner or something, trying to talk him into selling me on the extra charges. This salesperson was not just impersonal and rude, I feel as if he has no soul.
My wife bought a new car here three weeks ago. Our salesman Robert offered to give a free tank of gas when we returned to pick up plates and registration provided we fill out an online survey, which we did. Showed up today and he reneged on his offer saying we left a bad review on the survey which didnt happen. We asked for proof and he couldnt provide it. He is a weasel and shouldnt be trusted. Take your business somewhere else because they do not appreciate returning customers at all.
We had a great experience purchasing my 2022 Kia Sorento at Community Kia in Baytown. Ed Morton made the process extremely easy and was very thorough on showing me tips and trick around navigating the vehicle. He even helped me with the Kia connect app and getting my phone all hooked up. It was all in all a good evening there and will be the first place we look for our next car purchase! Thanks Ed and Community Kia!
OMG OMG OMG!!!! ABOVE AND BEYOND, Mary from the Service Dept!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!I took my 2014 Kia Soul there after my engine blew a piston through the engine block. This was the 2nd dealership i went to, to get a 2nd opinion after the first dealership made false claims about my vehicle!I got it towed in , and thank the good man above that placed me in the path of mary as my advisor. She heard my story and got straight to work. She kept me up to date at all times with what was inspected and what my warranty claim status was with Kia . She was always honest, sincere and when i asked for advice she gave it me straight lol! After three months of phone calls with Mary she was able to get my engine approved after previously trying with another dealership for THREE YEARS!!! let me tell you if this wonderful lady can do this she can do anything she sets her mind to!!! My husband and i are so excited to finally have our first vehicle back that we purchased together. It brings back so many memories. Thank you Mary, the technicians and community kia for having such excellent workers.I will be back for all maintenance and future work needed if any!
I used TrueCar to find an buy a new car. TrueCar pointed me to Community Kia showing me a good price and stating that they could do all the paperwork online and deliver the car to my place, so I would not have to go to the dealer. When I contacted the dealer, the first thing I asked the salesperson was if they could really do everything online and deliver the car to my home. Jose, the salesperson, said that they could do it easily, sending a messenger with all the necessary documents I had to sign and later delivering the car.Jose asked me for copy of my documents and ran my credit. After everything cleared out, he came back with a different price from what I had from TrueCar. I sent him the email I got from TrueCar with the offer and he took it to Terry, the sales manager, who said they would not honor the price.I called TrueCar and they advised me to talk to Gil, who was the internet manager, responsible for entering the prices in TrueCar. I called Gil and he called Terry. Gil called me back saying that they would honor the price.I called Jose and told him to move on with the process. After a day without hearing from Jose, I called him and he said all the paperwork was with the Financial Manager.Later that day I received a call from Jose saying that Terry, the sales manager, wanted to talk to me. Terry said they would not deliver the car to my house as promised by Jose because they were short in staff. He also said they would not hold the car for me and that I should call before going to the dealer because by the time I get there, the car might have been already sold.I called again TrueCar and asked why they had Community Kia listed as a dealer who would process the paperwork and deliver the car to the client if they were not honoring that. TrueCar escalated the issue and contacted Community Kia. Community Kia informed them that they were short in personnel and would not deliver cars on the weekend. Also, they would not hold cars for clients.I am not sure what TrueCar is going to do from here. I advised them to remove Community Kia from the HomeDelivery program of put on the proper disclaimers.Anyway, Community Kia came up with twists and turns in what was supposed to be a straight forward process. They got all my documents, ran my credit, and for what? Just to say I had to go there. They did not send me anything online and have not even confirmed the price in writing. To be honest, I am afraid to drive there just to find out the car was already sold, or to have them trying to pull another stunt. At the end, I have located another dealer in Texas, who was more than willing to work with me online and deliver the car. I end up not using TrueCar and everything is working well. So, my advise is to avoid Community Kia and TrueCar.
Im driving and caught a nail from Austin, TX to use Houston, TX. I thought it was a malfunctioning sensor. I drove on ot for 2 days. It was down to 15 PSI one morning. I drove to the dealership and meet with Jace. She took great care of me. She wanted me to be safe on the road to Florida. Im so appreciative of her support!!! What a class act COMMUNITY KIA!
I had the absolute best car buying experience through community Kia!! Everyone was so wonderful, kind, honest, and very informative. Ed Morton was AMAZING!!! He was able to a answer any and all questions without hesitation was so knowledgeable and also makes an amazing cup of tea!! Thank you guys for such a easy and great car buying experience!!
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!I highly suggest that you look elsewhere if youre looking to purchase a vehicle. The salesman was horrible- knew nothing about the vehicle. The financial department was beyond unprofessional.I didnt want paint protection yet he snuck it onto the paperwork.I found out that the extended warranties are only good at Kia dealerships after being misinformed by the financial department - said that I could take it to ANY CERTIFIED MECHANIC.Well I ended up paying over $500.00 out of pocket for a repair that should have been covered. And dont even mention the free towing. It would have cost me another $147.00 for the towing- thank goodness for AAA.Also the financial department increased the price of the car by $2,000.00 over what was agreed upon.Very unprofessional.Ive tried to speak to Roger Elswick - the owner several times but hes NEVER AVAILABLE.Update: I tried to contact Jim however he was never available and he never returns phone calls. He apparently doesnt care. The dealership had my money so they dont care.
Great place nice cars when they have some lol but I get the shortages that are happening only thing is maybe have more people to finalize contracts because I waited 8 hours just to sign also horrible customer service they make you take multiple trips out there just to work out one thing instead of letting someone know what all is needed irs always oops we also need this...and this...and this...
Every time I go to Community Kia, they are very kind and patient. They answer any questions I have and never make me feel like I am asking too many questions or being unreasonable. They provide snacks and water, as well as a comfortable place to wait. The staff are always VERY kind and sociable. They make me feel comfortable and welcome. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Community Kia. I had a car from a previous Kia where I would be there for 3 hours for an oil change. I am always in and out in under an hour. I LOVE IT, and I would absolutely buy another car from them.I have had my car for almost 4 years, and I have decided that even if I did not want a Kia, I would ask Community Kia if they could find the used car I was looking for so I could continue to go there for their service department! I love this place!
I have been a fan of Kia cars for the last 5 years. My salesman, Robert Staten has sold me two vehicles, both of which I love very much. His customer service is impeccable. Mr. Staten was very patient, knowledgeable, and guided me every step of the way. If you are looking to purchase a new car, I strongly recommend buying a Kia and definitely go see my favorite salesman Robert Staten at Community Kia in Baytown, Tx.
I want to thank Community Kia for helping me purchase my first Kia. Chris Mooney was such a big help and took the time to show me all the features my new car has. I will definitely be coming back in the future and will recommend everyone I know looking for a new car to stop into Community Kia and ask for Chris.
It was the best experience in buying my new car. From setting up the appointment to driving off the lot with my new Kia, it was a great experience. My sales person, Jocelyn, was absolutely fantastic. She walked us all the way through. The sales manager was wonderful as he would come by and check on us while we were waiting. The whole staff was wonderful. I would highly recommend buying your next car at Community Kia. You will not sorry that you did. Excellent people, excellent service.
My husband and I had to get some recalls tended to on our 2014 Soul on June 10, 2021. It was simple I called made an appointment, got in to service area five minutes before our appointment on day of arrival. Our customer service representative Julie was very kind well maintained and very knowledgeable. The waiting area was nice and roomy with comfy chairs and the remote control to the TV. Coffee and snacks were provided for us and greatly appreciated. Thank you Community Kia for your hospitality.
My experience at Community Kia was awesome! My salesman was Robert Staten and he was thee best, he got me the deal I wanted and then some! My Finance Manager, Vy Hoang was awesome as well. Ive been in contact with at least 8 different Kia dealerships in and around the Houston area and Community Kia gave me the best deal for my 2022 Kia Soul!! Thank you Community Kia!!
Chris Mooney - SalesmanMy wife and I had a great experience with Mr. Mooney. He was very knowledgeable about the Kia Telluride, and his sales approach was very inviting. Chris was upfront with the timeline of the vehicle being delivered to the dealership, and always kept us updated with shipping delays. Purchasing our vehicle was quick and painless, almost like purchasing a vehicle from a close relative. I highly recommend Chris Mooney and I will refer my family and friends to Community Kia.
Chris Mooney was top notch to deal with. He made the car buying experience smooth and effortless. He went above and beyond during the entire process and was very thorough. Will definitely recommend this dealership, and, specifically he as a salesman. I love my Telluride.
This is an excellent dealership! I was there for recall service. The service manager already had a ticket ready upon arrival, offered water and coffee. There even was a new copy of the Houston Chronicle! Service was timely completed and explained with a quick rundown of checks. Free car wash!I left with a very positive feeling. This dealership is not taking their customers for granted. There is attention to detail. Service with a smile! For all this , thanks to the great staff! I will not hesitate to buy my next car here.
Jocelyn Martinez gets 10 stars from me. She’s knowledgeable, has a calm demeanor, and isn’t a pushy Sales Advisor. Also, G.M.- Ever P. is kind and went out of his way to ensure I got the car that I wanted. Plus there is a Chick-Fil-A across the street from dealership. Thanks.
Had to get the vehicle in for a recall and while there got some maintenance completed. I have to say, this experiment was super. From the check in to the clarity of the work that needed to be completed, to the check out. The service dept made me feel confident with repairs with clear explanation of what needed to be done what didn’t need to be done. Last time dealing with this dealership service I passed on repairs as I felt I wasn’t being treated fairly. But this time, through the process with clear information, I felt treated fairly and didn’t hesitate to have work completed. Prices were fair and I could feel the difference in the repair to my vehicle.
Bought a new vehicle from them I couldve went to a place closer but I was out and about just looking, the service is good. Friendly staff and Robertt whom we bought a vehicle from knows his stuff and all around nice guy! As difficult and picky as I am they were patient and kind and delivered exactly what I needed. I couldnt ask for more.
This dealership is amazing, from sales to service! I bought my first Kia from them in 2013 and they have yet to disappoint. I just bought my new Seltos with the help of Sales Consultant Jocelyne Martinez. She answered every question I had and then some. She was very helpful, professional, friendly and knows what shes doing! If youre in the market for a vehicle, new or used, I recommend you visit Communiy Kia and see Jocelyne Martinez!!
Such a genuinely nice group of people! They made the transition to purchasing a new vehicle so easy with minimal effort on my part. They always were willing to listen to my preferences and were able to resolve any concerns with financing I had. I was able to be approved with a really good interest rate through the dealership and got the exact car I wanted for a reasonable price! I was very impressed with the amount of inventory they had available considering how many people are shopping and purchasing new cars right now. They are really keeping up with demand. Thank you to everyone at that dealership for their great customer service! If you are looking for a car right now, I HIGHLY recommend this dealership! Ask for James or Robert!
Got a Niro EV (the car we wanted) on a Kia promo. Chris Money was most helpful. The Niro EV is our first electric vehicle and Chris knew the car well. This is our second Kia and third car weve purchased or leased from the Community Auto group. Good experience from sales and finance to service after.
Thank you Austin Dixon and Community Kia! I walked out of there with a brand new Kia, and the process could not have been more pleasant, easy, and fast. Austin listened to me and knew exactly what I wanted and I left there very happy. He took his time to explain all of our options and to make sure I knew what I needed to know about my new car. I highly recommend Austin!
I purchased my 2020 Kia Sportage, October, 2020 at Community Kia, Baytown TX. I was very pleased with my salesman, Brad White. He explained all the features on the car, as well as found the exact car I was wanting. I also found Mr. Boliver, the finance manager to be very helpful explaining everything as well. I am very happy with my Kia, and look forward to many trips! The entire staff at Kia Baytown, TX was very friendly and accommodating. A big Thank You to all of You!
I recently bought my Kia Optima here and I love it! I was pleasantly surprised that the sales team werent the vultures I had seen in the past. James was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable, did all he could to make sure I left happy, but without that uncomfortable pressure. Amy, in the service department, also went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. Great experience at Community Kia!
Terrible, rude, and sexist service from both Ed the salesman and the GM, who think that men should buy cars without their SOs input, wont honor their websites advertised discounts, and will give you an initial APR that they raise to make sure they get their discount back. They also dont bother wearing masks.Update 4/12/2021:Reply to owner: I wont be contacting Jim as the GM himself wasnt too concerned and didnt think that he nor Ed needed any sensitivity training, nor that I needed any kind of apology at all. We went to DeMontrond the next day and purchased our new car from them - they honored their websites stated deals and did not try to remove the spare tire.
Just wanted to say I am Super Stuck on costumer service at Community Kia. That words “Community” really do means a lot to them, they all about family and I do feel welcome once I walk into this dealership. Start from salesperson, finance and General manager hands down great people. My first Kia car ever 2021 Kia K5 GT Line AWDMy Daugther car definitely will me at Kia...Thank you...Archie Advincula
The customer service team is the BEST at Community Kia!!! They are very personable because they always greet me by name. they come check on me if I am waiting for my vehicle making sure I dont need anything. They keep me updated on the time of when my vehicle will be completed. I love the coupons they send me to use for service!!! BEST SERVICE TEAM EVER under great Leadership!!!!!
Recently walked out with a brand new car! Thanks to Robert for his patience and dealing with us! I wanted to be sure of what we needed and what we could afford. Robert was able to look for something that best fit our needs. I would highly recommend him and this place.
This is my third vehicle purchase from Community and Ive ALWAYS had a great experience! James and Ashley were outstanding salespeople and I am thrilled with my new vehicle. I now live an hour away from this dealership and came back because I knew I would not be disappointed. Thank you Community for another great experience!
For most people car buying is an anxiety ridden event! So preparing my mind and going in to take care of business had me nervous. But I have to say that not only did I actually purchase a REALLY nice, brand new car my experience was extremely smooth and comfortable! James was very patient, knowledgeable, and he wasnt like the stereotypical car salesman you expect to get. Id most definitely recommend this place to anyone. Now off to ride around in my new whip....thanks Community Kia :-)
Freddy Kia is the closest Kia dealer to my home,I had my car towed there due to a malfunction that caused my Kia Optima to stall, never the less, I was treated very terrible, the entire service team was rude, and uncaring.I got my car to them on a Thursday, I was told the following Monday,it would be 1 to 2 weeks before theyd even look at my car. I had my car removed from there and towed to Community Kia in Baytown. ( Totally Different Experiance).Julie and the entire service team were AMAZING!!! I mean AMAZING...This dealership changed my mind on giving up on not only service but buying another Kia. I 💗Community Kia..Thank you to the entire staff for making my day!!!
Had an overall good experience with this dealer today. Wife got a new car. Easy to deal with. No pressure from sales team. Only giving three stars because the sales staff isnt very knowledgeable on what they are selling. Seems like every question we asked we couldnt get a straight answer for. Definitely need more training. Other than that things were great.
Very long story short, I would not recommend Community Kia and their group of dealerships. The used car department at Community Kia is run by a person who is dishonest, expects dishonesty from his salesmen, and will hide issues with cars when selling to you. We bought a used minivan on a Saturday, on Sunday the check engine light came on. When we left the dealership Saturday we had to go to their Honda dealership to have the Navigation unlocked. How does it lock? It locks by unplugging the battery. When you unplug a battery, it clears any computer codes, and turns off the check engine light. When we called to see if they would do the honest thing and take care of it, we were done a favor and they paid for parts, leaving us with a $500 labor bill.My advice, just steer clear of Community dealerships. If you want work done on your Honda, go talk to Paul. He is a wonderful guy, who will do his best to give you the quality customer service you deserve in an honest manner. He is the ONLY person I would do business with in that group of dealerships, I will, however, never be going back to any of those dealerships simply because of how we were handled by the people at Community Kia. Go search for another dealership, they arent worth your time or money. Also, go look at other reviews on other sites, its an eye opening experience, one I wish Id had before walking into Community Kia.
My salesman that I had was awesome. Definitely a customer service gentleman I’m very decisive in what I do especially when it comes to buying something and he had the patience for me without hesitation he was the best customer service person that I had ever encountered. I will highly recommend family and friends to Mr. Robert Stanton heIs a asset to the company. This gentleman has a lot of class thank you Mr. Robert Staten for my brand new Kia Sorrento.
My car was taken in to service as soon as I arrived, and it was completed in the amount of time that I was told it would take. The lady at the desk was very friendly and kept me informed about what was going on at all times. I was very pleased with my experience at this dealership, and would recommend it to my friends. This was not my first time at this dealership, and I have always been pleased.
We were looking to trade in our Kia 2017, when my husband was contacted by Ms. Gabrielle of Community Kia Baytown. We are extremely pleased with the customer service provided by Mr. Jose and Mr. Boliver. They listened to our requirements patiently and dealt with us very courteously. We felt very taken care of and are greatly satisfied with our new Kia. We highly recommend Community Kia Baytown because of its great staff!
I purchased a car from Community-Kia/Baytown on Saturday, 7-9-16. Thanks to my Salesman, James, it was a very very painless experience. It was hassle free. Any concern I had James took the time to address it. If I called him, he ALWAYS returned my call very soon. He showed concern for any issue I had. And for sure I am the kind of person with Many Concerns!! My major concern were affordable payments. Thanks to James and Willie my payments were nothing short of a Dream!! Now that I have my car I am EXTREMELY HAPPY!! Happy about everything! Very nice running car, very clean.....Thank you Willie, Thank you KIA, and MOST OF ALL JAMES!!!!!
My experience was awesome. Being a first time buyer I wouldnt have gotten the car without the help of James Carter. He was so professional, helpful, and detailed oriented about my needs. This was the best experience I have ever experienced. I would recommend anyone to Community Kia!
Beware of typically deceptive dealership practices, but I bought a car anyway. They advertised the 2020 Optima EX at $22,900 with 54 miles on it vs sticker price of $28545, a great deal for a new car, 80% of sticker mostly due to $4000 in factory incentives. Target 85% of sticker when buying new. The car was actually a well-broken-in demo with 723 miles on it. They are not forthcoming at all with the demo status which is deceptive as a new cars should have less than 200 miles. There were a few others advertised in the area as low as $22000, but I do not ask them to match as the advertised price is great, the color is what I want, and its the last day for factory incentive. The next thing they try to do very deceptively is to increase the price of the car to $23800 with a bunch of inflated unnecessary items not on sticker or asked for and masked as ttl. $200 for locking wheels that are actually $20 worth of locking lug nuts, $200 for nitrogen instead of air in the tires, $500 for window tinting. This is how they choose to increase profit. Three rounds of negotiations and 3 hr later, we settled at $23103 with $1855 ttl mostly $1444 sales tax. Still a really good deal even for a used vehicle, but why behave like this for $200, and I hope those 600 extra miles were added nicely. Only time will tell.
One of the better Kia service centers in the area.A couple of the folks provide good customer service, with others its clear they just dont care.Sammy is a pretty good service manager and will work to keep you happy if needed. Elizabeth is newer and seems to understand keeping customers informed and asking if theyre happy, shes provides and impression that she cares which is half the battle.Small issues in other areas that are almost expected in this price range car market but if you need to get it right make sure Elizabeth and Sammy are involved.
Our family appreciations the outstanding sales service we received throughout our car purchase transaction. Cynthia ensured that we were able to find the best vehicle for our family. The professional demeanor, attention to detail, exceptional service, and great teamwork is what motivates us to keep coming back to Community KIA. We would like to thank Cynthia P., Robert S., and Boliver A. for the exceptional customer service that we received this past Saturday Afternoon.
I have a Kia that needed to be serviced for a recall item. They tell you that you need to schedule an appointment and plan for the vehicle to be there for 4 hours. Every appointment falls in the middle of the workday. They refuse to give you a rental car. So...... I finally made the time to schedule an appointment despite the inconvenience. I arranged to drop my car off the night before my 10 am appointment thinking it would give them more than enough time to finish the vehicle during the day. After work (4pm), I hadnt heard from them. This was supposed to be only a 2-4 hour appointment. I called them and they didnt even know who I was and kept asking me if I was sure I dropped my car off. Then when they finally called back they acted as if they had been working all day on the car and needed an extra day to wrap things up. My car was brand new when I bought it and only a year old. Needless to say, I was out of work and a vehicle for two long days. When I finally went to pick up the car, they still did not address all of my concerns with the car.
Great customer service here. I drive an extra 40 minutes to this location because I know I will be taken care of and the employees will always treat me with respect and hospitality. Snacks and drinks are always offered in the waiting area and if you’re lucky, a guy will come in selling tamales while you’re waiting. One thing I love about driving all the way here is being able to stop at Bucees! I will never visit Archer Kia over this Kia again. 🙌👏
My car flooded when Baytown had the bad weather late September. After the insurance company called my car a total loss we started looking for me another car. We had a hard time at a previous dealership in houston trying to purchase a car. I felt the sales lady was rushing me, and after 2 days of going and looking around she didnt really put in time to help me find a new car. We live in Baytown so I seen a few cars online that I liked and decided to stop at Community Kia. Chris was our salesman and immediately he made our experience so easy. All my frustration was gone. I was able to find the car I wanted at a great price, with a great warranty. After a couple days we spoke about buying our daughter a car. Again we started looking somewhere else and ended up calling Chris again for help. As soon as we got to the dealership he had already looked around the lot and found a car that had just been traded in and had it ready for a test drive. We loved it and decided that was the one but we had to wait a few days for them to get it ready for us to take it home. Chris stayed in contact with us the whole time. He truely made both experiences so easy. We couldnt have asked for anyone better. Chris is the man!!!!We will definitely refer him and Community Kia to everyone we know looking for a car. The finance guys were so helpful in explaining all the paper work and not rushing us. If us buying two cars in one week with Chris doesnt speak volumes then I dont know how else to explain it. 10 STARS!!!!
We had a great experience at Community KIA ~ Our sales woman April was patience, well inform about the cars, she provided many options for us by taking us to the Honda and Toyota dealership and easy going. We appreciate everyone that stayed after business hours to make sure we left with a car. Big thanks to April. This is a great place to buy a car from.
I just purchased my third Kia from Community Kia. I dont like shopping for new vehicles but the staff at Community are always helpful and are respectful of my time. The buying process has always been smooth for me at Community and that is just one of the reasons that Im a returning customer. Good job guys.
I came to the dealership looking for a new car, and I also get my current car serviced there. So I came in looking for a car and I was asked to take one on a test drive. The salesman went and got the keys and told me to get on the passenger side. He drove the whole test drive and asked me how did I like the car at the end of the test drive. Honestly I dont know how I like it because he didnt put the customer first and let me even drive the car. So that really just turned me completely off. You cant ask a person to spend their hard earned money and you give them what you want them to have. Its called a test drive not a test ride.
I had the best car buying experience here at community kia thanks to my salesman Carlos and Colin. I arrived at the last hour of the day to buy a car that I was interested in and they both stayed late to make the process as quick and easy as possible. I would highly recommend seeing Carlos and Colin when looking for a new vehicle at community kia.
My husband and I purchased our Kia Optima from Community Kia yesterday. The entire process only took a couple of hours and it was GREAT! Tracie was extremely helpful and made the entire experience very pleasant. She even took the time to go over some the of basics on all the bells and whistles our Optima is equipped with.
I get my oil changed here every time. They are always very friendly and smiling faces at the counter. they always offer drinks and food. They have small but comfortable waiting area. This is also a much better waiting experience than my previous car. I had a Volkswagen Jetta and the dealership I took it to, would take an hour to 3/4 hours, WITH AN APPOINTMENT. I have not once ever waited longer than an hour at community KIA. They also have WiFi and charging cables for your phone.I did have one oil change where they did not tighten the nut at the bottom and my oil was leaking when i got home. I came back the next the day and they redid the oil change for me. I would have liked maybe a small discount for the drive out there, but none-the-less they fixed the problem.overall good experience.
Went in with financing already pre-approved to purchase a used car. Finance guy Bolivar Allman tells me he submitted my bank statements to my lender and they declined to approve my loan. I had already setup everything with my lender and was surprised to learn this at the dealership, so I called my lender. They tell me that he never submitted my bank statements, and that I am approved to purchase a vehicle.I was so angry that I had been lied to that I left the dealership. I was called by both the finance manager and the general manager, and was told that they would work any deal to get my business and felt back about how I was treated. I told them to finalize an offer and call me, which they never did. Now, at the same time, my 2015 Kia Soul is at this dealership getting a new engine under factory warranty after it threw a rod.My car has been there since early May. I was told on May 18th that my engine had come in and that it would be 3-4 more weeks to get it installed.I called them this past Friday (6/15) to check on status of finalizing engine installation. I am told by service manager that my engine has never come in and is on back order with no idea when it will arrive.Another lie from this dealership!I am still trying to get my rental vehicle contract extended after 4 phone calls to dealership service dept. and 3 days of waiting I still have no response on this matter as well!I am now in the process of filing an official complaint with Kia Motor Company.Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this dealership! They will lie and tell you any story to get you in the door and then give you the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered!!!!!!
Chris Mooney and Victor Smith were very helpful in the purchase of my new Telluride EX. Chris has the attributes of a good salesman: builds relationships; professionally and technically competent and knowledgable; eager to work; and friendly. I enjoyed working with Chris.Victor helped put me in a good situation to make my KIA a very positive one. Thanks to each of these gentlemen.I also appreciate the help Carla Herman provided. Carla is an asset to your dealership. One another note, the more I drive and learn about my new Telluride, the more I love it.
The service department is the best thing about this dealership! everything else is, well you know... but if you need your car service Amy and the ladies at the desk are really nice and upfront. The dudes in the back work hard to get you in and, out decreasing wait times! So if you need your car (SERVICE) they do a five star Job!!!!
I had a terrible experience at buying my first car from a different dealership in Houston, but I met Carlos Martinez at that other dealership and he continued to keep in contact with me even as he left the other dealership.. He introduced me to community Kia and he had me in a better car, with a better deal the same day that I went to see him !!! I recommend community Kia to everyone !!! Thanks for being such great people !!! Yall deserve the best !!! God really touched that place and the people that work there !!!
This is a telling review - so read it please: I went in yesterday to look at a car they had, worked with James and Boliver to get a purchase order signed and sent to my credit union. They seemed nice enough in person and even told me that the car would be taken off the lot. Today I notified them of some adjustments that needed to be made to the purchase order, but while playing phone tag with my credit union they quickly went ahead and sold the car to another person, completely disregarding the purchase order I had previously signed. This was a pretty disappointing experience and I have learned to put a deposit down on the car or at least drive home with it. This dealership put financing over an agreement that they had signed with a customer. CommunityKia should keep good on their agreements if they have Community in their name.
I had an awesome experience and will recommend this dealership to everyone. And the highlight was meeting Pancake the Pitty. My granddaughter was just glued to him and he was her. Our salesman Sunny was amazing and took us on the road test of a lifetime and the finance officer Chris was so helpful and accommodating. I cant thank everyone enough for all the help and support for my 16 year old daughters 1st purchase on her car.Mandy Sanders and Hailey Sanders
I am a used car dealer and buy parts here and bring family Kias for service. Staff is the best franchise dealer staff I have ever dealt with. Amy & Amy, Lindsey, Josh. They are excellent at their jobs and are very professional. They even shuttled me back when i needed it once. Great dealership, highly recommended. A+
Our sales guy, Max, was great. We stepped on the lot right around 5pm, he gave us space to look and when we were ready to talk, he gave us great service. By 7pm, we were owners of a brand new Soul on terms we were happy with. I would highly recommend visiting with Max at Community Kia.
Contacted them via email about purchasing a new car they didnt have in stock yet. Got a reply from internet sales coordinator saying that they dont know when the car will be in, but they will take a $3,000 non-refundable deposit (see attached picture for proof). I replied saying that those terms are ridiculous and Ive called several other dealerships in Houston and the most they wanted was a $500 refundable deposit. She replied back to me saying good luck. That tells me a lot about this dealerships sales practices. They definitely wont get my business.
I am extremely disappointed with the service at this dealership. I had been here once before and everyone was so nice and the service was speedy. My check engine light came on and I made an appointment to get it looked at, and they said they said there was nothing wrong since my light went off, but to bring it back if it came back on and that I did NOT to make an appointment. I brought it back TWICE after that, saying that they couldnt look at it because I needed an appointment, even though they said I could bring it in any weekday before 11:30 am to have it looked at and figure out what was wrong. My mechanic had already told me there was a leak in my vapor system, but they said they needed to scan it with their machine before they could even run a full diagnostics. Now my car does not start and who knows what else is wrong with my engine. I cant even imagine how much all of this is going to cost me, even though I attempted multiple times to get my car looked at. There was so much miscommunication and every representative that I spoke to told me something different. Now my car and I are going to literally pay for the consequences of this dealerships incompetence.
Great customer service, and friendly environment.I would recommend going to anyoneThis is my second visit to the Community Kia dealership an my experience is even better than the first. Both the dealership an its employees were outstanding and met every bit of my expectations that I had. They did a fantastic job and I would recommend anyone to go
This place stole two of my UE Boom speakers. They did absolutely nothing about it, even after talking to the manager, over all the outcome was my word against the mechanics that serviced my car. I wasn’t looking for any compensation I just wanted my speakers returned. Be careful and do not leave any of your belongings in your vehicle. I gave a 2 star bc the ladies in service have always been very polite. I no longer trust this place and I traded in my truck only to get screwed with my belongings. Didn’t know ppl that have good jobs still steal. It’s really sad.
The only reason I give 2 stars is because they have free snacks, drinks, and a big smile at servicedesk when you walk in. Now for the nonsense.I visited the service center the first week in June. Received an oil change and was offered a tire rotation. I opted out because rotation was not a reasonable price (and clearly tire balancing is not automatic norrecommene). However the tread was checked and was good. My car started shaking so broughtit back. They tell me that all 4 fires are worn unevenly and need to be replaced! ... HOW DID you Miss THIS!!! This car had 26,000 miles in 5 years. You should replace these tires as I still had20,000 miles min left to go. To top it off the service Manager says this isnt the first time it has happened with the same tech. Believe the reviews.
Excellent staff, from internet assistance to management, sales reps, finance folks, parts and service. I mean, EVERYBODY. In fact, after exploring 3 other dealerships in Houston, where I live, for almost 2 weeks, I happily drove out to Baytown instead to buy my car. Best red carpet treatment ever! They worked with me and I left there a very happy camper - er, driver. Love the car, and love Community Kia. I highly recommend them. -Pat
The staff members were very helpful and informative throughout the buying process. Every email and phone call sent and made were attended to in a timely manner.Super thanks to Jesus, Michael, Rich and Boliver. And a big thank you to the owners for their assistance. Car buying has never been so pleasant.
I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Grant thru my great friend Amber and had the best new car buying experience ever. I am so very happy with the purchase of my new Kia Optima!! Thank you guys so much and I cant wait to see you again when it is time for my oil change!! Overall great staff and Financiers!! I definitely recommend for any and all that are looking for a great deal on a fabulous new car. I will definitely be back for my future car buying!!! Thank you so much for everything Michael Grant and my bestie Amber Whitehead!! :-)
Salesman Chris was great and the only reason I dont mind rating a 1 star review. Financial department/Business decisions are crooks. Offered me $1000 under rough trade in, then came back with $500 under average trade in like that was a deal. Then added over $7000 to the MSRP sticker price because of tint and availability of the car. Talk about GREED! Guess what, called another Kia, no mark up on MSRP. I wont be using this dealership. But hopefully this review will encourage others find another dealership around the block. 👎Kia Baytown.
Not a very good service experience here. I brought my wifes Soul in for a recall on the steering coupler but was also told there is a recall on the ECU to be flashed. As I was driving home that day the check engine light came on and the car lost power. It limited me to 60mph. So I took it back to the dealer next day. I told the advisor what happened. She said bring it in to check it out. So I did. They said it was a knock sensor. That is what the code showed. OK. I was told it was low on oil that could be a possibility of why it came on. So can other things...So i paid a diag fee with no reason of fix on the problem.. Service advisor told me it was a pending code. I told her the oil was changed about 2 weeks ago, so if it was low it has been this long. But I have had no issue till software was reprogrammed. So i was told to drive it for a week to see if anything would happen. NOTHING. So I took it back, this time tech came out to the car to run a scan. He told in front of advisor that there is nothing pending anymore and cant give me a educated reason why. There was nothing pending like before. So I believing it wasnt flashed correctly the first time. I paid a diag for no reason. If tech would have programmed again it would have corrected it. I dont know who could have made a simple decision like that. The kicker here is that I spoke to Sammy, not sure his position is. He asked me what was going on so I started to explain because he told me he didnt know.As as I was talking he kept cutting in, he obviously knew more but I ran with. Finally he cuts in and say WHAT DO YOU WANT? Kinda loudly. Well Im sorry I took up your time and aggravated you. Bottom line is you need to listen to your customers it is you job and you dont need to be a pompous jackass about it. I was also told I would get a call back about the issue. I have notand it has been 11 days.
Would give zero stars if possible. Like other posts I have read, we had the same disreputable business service as others. Found a vehicle on their website, made an appointment to test drive, within hour of appointment we called to verify it was still available and to let them know we were on the way because we were driving an hour to get there. Yep, get there to be told the vehicle had been sold. The person our appointment was with was not there, evidently the appointment confirmation is a generic form with Manager, Richard Battle, name on it. Manager on duty, Brandon Etter, took zero responsibility on behalf of the dealership, would not acknowledge anything wrong had been done even after admitting a deposit had been up on the vehicle before we even made the appointment. Worst customer service ever. To top it all off, we get an email the next day from Richard Battle asking if we had any questions regarding the vehicle! Potential customers beware!!
After I test drove a vehicle, I needed a few days to make up my mind on the purchase. Once I decided to make the purchase, I called the salesman (Ed) and he said he would call me back that day with the price. Its now two weeks later and no phone call. NOT THE WAY TO TREAT A BONAFIDE CUSTOMER ! I suggest you go to another dealership.
I went in yesterday to look at a Camaro that I had seen online, i went in hoping for the worst because i had set my mind to a certain monthly payment and a certain amount i wanted to leave as a downpayment so going in i knew those were going to be hard numbers to reach but my salesman Max was more than helpful not only did he get me to my desired monthly payment but I drove of the lot in my new car. This is my second time buying from community Kia and honestly has been the easiest buying experience yet
The shop ladys that work the front desk of the shop are very rude . They dont know anything about the car when you ask them about what they found wrong with the car. They are clueless and cant tell you what part is going to be changed out and cant tell you why you are having this problem. The shop manager is never in.. I have asked three times for a shop manager or a mechanic to give me a call about my car and over three weeks I never received a phone call to this date. They dont give out loaners there but want to keep your car for two weeks. I had to call Kia to make the dealership give me a rental car. No customers service at all
I want to thank everyone at Community Kia for the great service you gave me during my purchase of a new Kia last week. I got more for my trade in than the other dealership offered and my payments were less. I am really happy with my new car. I would highly recommend to anyone out there looking to buy a car.
On March 17th Saturday morning I visited this Community Kia with my family and informed the sales crew that I need a SUV with apple play on it. They showed me few cars and finally we decided to go with a black Sportage. Even though it took the all day to buy a car even without much people to buy cars there. They offered a popcorn and water for us. When we came home I realized that this does not have the feature apple play and emailed to KIA manufacturer about it and they also confirmed that it does not have that feature. Called back on Tuesday to the dealership and they said that YES this has that feature and then kept me on hold. After they said will call me back and they did called after 15 minutes to inform me that that please come and take another car which has this feature. I told them that I will be there Friday morning to get another as I was in out of state. Friday morning reached the dealership with my car and kept waiting until I called 11.45AM. They said that I have to pay another $2.5K for this feature which no one was informed me over the phone. I lost my full day just because of their sales guys were not aware of what they are selling. Mr. Chaves who helped me with financing introduce a Manager on duty Mr. Wille Hill who was rude enough to understand my situations and finally played a mathematical game to show that I am getting $250.00 for the trouble I had. I want someone from the management to call me to discuss this matter or else I will not go back this dealership and also tell all my community to never go to this place to buy a car. Just giving one star as I dont have any to give less than that.Folks be prepared to spent two or more days from your work to buy a car from this dealer as you have plenty of options in town!!
Ive been eyeing these ever-increasing-in quality Kias since my mom bought a Soul here. Never thought Id be able to get my first new car so easy. Walked in just to look at the inventory and then I was approved for a test drive. Gotta thank James Carter showing me exactly what I was looking for and Boliver Allmon for making it the sale happen. They helped me out a ton. Ive already recommended Community Kia to the people complementing my car. When we need another vehicle, this place will definitely be our first choice.
Baytowns Community Kia was phenomenal! My credit is currently grossly challenged (to say the very least), yet they got me financed when no one else could! They were quick and on-the-ball with all requests, handled things without me having to ask, and just ent above and beyond. My vehicle wasnt going to be ready until the following morning, so they even gave me a loaner and DELIVERED MY CAR TO ME AT WORK, 20+ miles away, with a full tank of gas. Everything went perfectly. So well, in fact, that I got a stack of each of their business cards to hand out to friends and associates! Thanks again to Carlos, Annette & Bolivar at Community Kia!!! Im thrilled!
This Kia dealership uses fishing tactics to turn in your car for a new one at a lower price per month, but fails to keep to their word when you arrive. For any new car buyers interested in having a Kia vehicle as their first, do NOT come to this dealership for your first, brand new car. These guys will try to bait you in and have you get financed with a terrible bank. You’ll end up having to spend too much money for both the car and insurance leaving you with no choice but to return the car and lose credit that you are oh so barely trying to repair/start increasing. This is a lesson i’m passing on so others can learn from someone who was screwed over and won’t make the same mistake again.
They dont honor their own special internet pricing as advertised and they give you the lowest amount on your trade in. I also noticed that all negative reviews are copy and paste like response comments coming from dealership... that to me displays and says that this company is a cookie cutter type like business/ nonchalant and they dont make any effort to help out their customers by living up to their promises. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would.
They illegally ran my husbands credit without him being there after I told them not to multiple times. When I didn’t like their numbers and tried to leave they WOULD NOT give me my keys they just looked at me like I was dumb and kept trying to get the numbers lower. When I finally got out and was allowed to leave I texted one of the guys that was helping me to remind him to not run my husbands credit and if they check mine ONLY RUN IT ONCE!! They ran my husbands 3 times and mine 5 and when I called upset about this they were silent and said “it was miscommunication I’m sorry”. Now that I’m trying to dispute this off our credit they won’t even help give me the paperwork I need!! I have all the proof and messages from the worker that they were in the wrong and they still won’t help. None of these people know anything besides scamming people and trying to trap them! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Also, from experience I know when they do pressure somebody into buying a car all they talk about is their stupid surveys and getting good ratings and almost force people to do that and I’m assuming that’s the only way they have 4.4 stars. This place sucks and just cares about getting their money no matter how much they have to lie to you and make you think you’re getting a good deal.
To be honest I didnt know what to expect when we went to Community Kia. We went late Saturday night so that no one would try to pressure us to buy. Terry J. was there by the grace of God and he helped me out. I was surprised because he made me feel like we had all the time in the world and he was very nice. Terry was very understanding of our financial situation and said he would do everything he could for me and he did! We also had the opportunity to work with Carlos M. who also went above and beyond to help me. This is what customer services is all about and I would gladly recommend any family, friend, or stranger to Community Kia. Anyone who knows me know that I dont BS when it comes to providing for my family. Thanks guys! MUAH!
I recently expressed in upgrading my Kia Optima to an later model SUV. I was called several times about the great selection they had to show me so me and the wife hurried out there to see their selection. We had 3 diff. managers try to sell us an SUV and the wanted to see was totally locked up and no one could find the key. The key supposed to be locked up in the service bay and no manager could get into the garage to get the key so we could look @ this SUV? We played their game and went inside to see what they would sell me this car and was ready to proceed if they could find a key and Bree said they may have to have a key made in order to be able to open the car. About noon on Monday Bree called and said they are servicing the SUV which was very nasty looking both in and out. I really felt sorry for Bree b/c they were treating her like a pawn back and forth. If your gut says back away so thats what we did.We found another SUV we likes and even saved some money on it. I will never set foot or recommend Community Kia to anyone and will go out of town like I have to purchase a vehicle.
!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!!! Community sold me an undisclosed flooded vehicle. Instead of taking accountability, they wanted to give me trade-in value for the flooded vehicle and charge me another down payment on a second one. These people are a bunch of thieves and have the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Now Im stuck with a vehicle that reeks of rust and mold, has sand in the engine, and is corroding all over, yet no one is aiming to help. Now I have to take further action that will cost me time and money to remediate Communitys wrongdoing!
I need more stars because my experience was 10 stars! I knew what I was looking for and what I could afford and Robert had everything basically ready for me when I arrived. James explained all the features, help set up the Bluetooth to my phone and just made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Bolivar in finance explained everything in a way that I understood. Warranty was probably explained better than I have ever experienced. Hats off to Robert, James and Bolivar!! Im so happy with my new Sorento!!
I made the trek to Community Kia in Baytown from across town after receiving a good internet sales quote from Shana on a Kia Optima. The test drive went well and my saleperson Traci was very nice to work with. It wasnt until I started talking numbers when it all went south (doesnt it always). The Sales Manager started off with a decent quote but he was adamant that the price only was valid for a 3 year lease, limited miles, and a balloon payment at the end of the lease. I contradicted that I was not interested in leasing and he rebutted that it was not a lease by throwing out terms like balloon payment, residual value, etc. - A LEASE! The encounter turned around when he offered to let me take the car home for the weekend to test drive and make a decision which I was more than happy to do. Obviously at that point the car had been test driven numerous times or loaned out as it had 675 miles on the odometer. I drove the car for the weekend fully expecting to return to purchase it on Monday as it is a nice vehicle. The price negotiation began again when I returned with a different General Manager, this time straying away from the original price quote because I wanted to finance the car without the lease. All of the sudden the price jumped another $500.To wrap up this review, I thought we had agreed upon a price that was satisfactory to me, the numbers were configured to exceed my price request for a drive out total (drive out = total price of the car inc. all taxes, title, doc. fee, minus rebates; obviously not to this dealership, it means a financed price plus a TTL down payment), and I canceled the deal after going round and round with the General Manager about how I had been mislead. All of the headaches from shopping at Community Kia along with the numerous drives I had to make out made this car buying experience the worst I have EVER had! Good riddance and good luck to the person who buys the car with 900 miles already on it.
No pressure and service was awesome. They gave me a great price on my trade in and a great price on the new one absolutely no hassle ! I will definitely make the drive back down here when its time to bye another one Thank Cyndi Payton for helping us with our new sportage
Absolutely horrible was on the phone with a sales rep all day Candice she promised to get me into a 2016 Malibu with low payments under 500 and 300 down and I could drive off the same day. when I agreed to come in a sign the paperwork she had told me the bank wanted to charge crazy fees and could not offer me the vehicle anymore (she never called) instead she tried to offer me a 2012 Malibu with a downpayment of 1000 dollars and asked if i had a cosigner. When i told her no I dont have that much upfront she agreed to the 300 down and 700 in two weeks when i told her i wouldnt be writing a check because I do not use them she could have my banking info to draft it out she said her manager would not accept it he only accepted checks. When i told her I needed the car today and that wont work for me because its not what was discussed she said her manager told her if i can find a cosigner she could get me into something better for the 300 I told her no so she rechexked with the manager came back and said even if i paid the mo st I still wouldnt be able to take the car the same day because even though it was out on the lot it hadnt been serviced yet and i wouldnt be able to get it till 3 days later I declined said thats not going to due and im not waiting 2 weeks to pay the full 1000 i didnt agree on because I needed the car now. She then proceeded to ask me if i could ask any family member for money to get the car. I walked out on her after that. Totally deceptive waisted my time and waisted my energy. Never go here its not worth the back handed sales they are trying to do.
The Worst. James Carter (Salesperson)should be flipping burgers. Long story short, He would not return calls for price of a vehicle. When I complained to a manager she thought she put me on hold but didnt. Heard James belittling me because I complained. Thanks James, Baytown Ford would like to thank you. They got our $28000.
I give this dealership two tumbs up! My experience from begining to end wa remarkable. Everyone there treated me with kindess. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and the staff was very fiendly. I didnt think it would be possible for me but i was able to drive away with a 2015 Kia Forte. I want to thank everyone over at Community Kia for their help with my new vehicle purchaase and many thank to my salesman James Carter.
Horrible!!! I went in to test drive a car to make sure I liked the Kias Sorento. I told the sales guy Floyd Davis Jr. that I was looking for a used vehicle and that I had financing. He fed me a bunch of crap about how he could get me close to my price and in a new one if I would let him do a soft credit check because they had sooo maNy incentives if I went thru KIA. Flat out lied!!!! I just got home and already have two alerts on my credit that KIA ran two HARD Inquires on my report. I told him more than twice to not run a hard credit check and he gave me his word and said that he would not hurt my credit that way!! What a lie. I will never refer or take anyone else there so BEWARE OF FLOYD DAVIS. HE LIES!!
KIA MOTORSi first had my car towed to Community Kia on 3/20/2015 @ 7am because when i went to start it the car only turned on dash lights. I told Sammy that i took the car to the store for groceries and that it was running GREAT like it ALWAYS did and that i backed up to the garage. When i went to move the car into the garage later that night only the dash lights come on. I did some of my own research and found that the computer only needed to be relearned and it was a software issue. i wasnt even contacted by kia until 5:30 pm on 3/20/2015 and was told my PCM wasnt communicating with the GDS system and that i would have to replace my PCM. i was told to go to enterprise and rent A CAR and they would reimburse me up to $25 a day. I was told that the part would have to be ordered and that is would be sent over night and received by 3/23/2015. On that day i again never received a call from the dealership so i called at 4pm to see if my car was now ready and was told that the part never showed up and might now be lost and that we would have to wait to see if it comes with the shipment the next day. Again on the next day 3/24/2015 & 3/25/2015 i was told the part still did not show up and they dont know where it is even at now. This started to make me believe i was not being told the truth about my car and what they were actually doing to it. I called management on 3/25/2015 and told them that i was getting impatient because i didnt feel i was getting truthful info and the manager himself told me he saw them working on my car that day before because it was on the lift.( my car sticks out from other optimas b/c of the rims) I asked hi....well why would they be working on my car if they didnt even have the part to fix it???? I honest dont believe my PCM had failed at all and that they were trying to find a way to blame the issue on my car on me because of aftermarket exhaust, cold air intake and LED lights so that it wouldnt be a warranty because we all know thats how the service dept gets commissions checks. The next day on 3/26/2015 i was told that they would have to reorder the PCM and it would be ready till 3/30/2015. On 3/30/2015 i went to return my rental at enterprise and was told kia wasnt going to pay but only $20 a day now because i didnt rent a KIA. I was furious because it was never once specified the make of car i had to rent. I noticed that my car wasnt having the power it had prior to my car going in for service. I also noticed after picking up the car that the service manager lied on the invoice by stating that i told him my car was running funny on my way to the store and he put Service IN Date as 3/26/2015. it was towed under warranty and the tow company picked up and dropped off my car to them on 3/20/2015. Im am now starting to believe that the dealership service dept hasnt been very honest with me about my car even more then I already did. Sammy told me computer shows everything is ok so we are done here and if you dont like that answer go to another dealership. A breather hose to the transaxle valve body cover not being connected properly after being in your service for is certainly a big deal and because I had to figure out on my own what it was there is probably so much unseen engine problems and my cars future is unkown :-( I went from loving my optima to hating to even think about it anymore. I just want to sell it and go buy a Subaru bc at least I know that company cares about customer serviceContacted my State Attorney General, BBB Auto line and wrote a formal complaint to kia
Community Kia is one of the Top Dealerships that I have ever dealt with. Detra Wickliff Internet Sales Coordinator was very professional and met the need and desires of my expectations. Not alone my Salesman James Carter drove from Baytown to Beaumont to pick me up when I was experiencing troubles. Dedication and teamwork between those two made my experience stress free! I highly recommend making your next purchase with James Carter and Detra Wickliff at Community Kia.
Community Kia of Baytown have truly convinced me that, with the upmost respect, can fulfill customer satisfaction while providing great service in making sure your treated as family while getting your vehicle serviced or even when browsing for a vehicle in the market. Taking care of the community one day at a time.🖒🖒
I. purchased a 2016 Kia/Sorento and Robert Staten was my Saleman and he was a very kind gentleman....I gave him a list of features I wanted in my car....he located this exact vehicle for me with the just right features....I love my ride....he also demonstrate the vehicle before I drove off.....
My experience with visits/appointments for service, have been professionally and courteous. My questions have been satisfied. The service wait has been done in a fair amount of time. Not only that, they graciously offer you a drink, snack, and free Wifi while you wait.
Was in need of an ac line, and these folks had it in stock. compared to my local kia dealership which would have taken three days to receive, they offered it at a lower price. Quick and easy conversation on telephone got part found, and set aside for me to pick up. Couldnt have been any easier.
My experience started with Redditre Wickliff. I explained to her what I was looking for and she found it for me. I must say Miss Wicliff exceeded my expectations especially when she sent me to a wonderful salesman named James. These two together make a great tag team for Community Kia. 2022-05-20My son bought his first vehicle as his graduation present from college on his own. Being his mom I was nervous he would be taken advantage of but these guys are AMAZING! They took care of my son as if he was their own! I am so grateful to Chris!

2022-07-15I bought my 2023 Kia Sportage SX yesterday and my salesperson, Jocelyn Martinez was amazing. She was very helpful from the moment my husband and I walked into the dealership. She kept me posted on the status of my vehicles arrival and she never pressured me to try and buy out of my budget. I would definitely recommend anyone to work with her on their next vehicle.

2022-02-16We bought an EV6 (first one sold from the dealership) yesterday. Our sales rep, Jose Arevalo and finance manager Gerald Bailey were both great to work with. We never felt pressured and they did a great job explaining everything. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

2022-03-16Car shopping at community Kia in Baytown was such a pleasant experience. Our sales advisor, Jocelyne Martinez, went above and beyond for us and helped us find our dream car. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. We also never felt pressured into making any decisions we were uncomfortable with which was very refreshing. The finance manager, Gerald Bailey, made us feel like family. He answered all our questions and was very transparent with the process. Will definitely recommend this community Kia to friends and family! So happy with my 2023 Sportage!

2021-09-18I have never had an experience like this at a dealership before! Our sales person, Chris Mooney, was incredible! So patient and so helpful. He made sure the package we wanted was built and when we had questions he was literally just a phone all away. When we finally go to pick up our new car he made sure we had a nice beginners course in all the bells and whistles! Even the finance person at the dealership was amazing! So happy we went to them. Highly recommend!!!

2022-01-17Brad White was an excellent salesman. Definitely recommend if you’re interested in buying a Kia from here. This is my second vehicle Ive purchased from Community Kia. Reasonable addendum fees compared to other Kias in the Houston area. My Telluride arrived weeks before the original ETA.

2021-12-08Let me first begin by saying how happy I am after signing for my new vehicle. Robert Staten was my salesman but I left feeling like I had a trustworthy friend. When we first went over everything his initial quote was, Do not worry Erik, we will take care of you. That was never more true after I left. He explained everything in detail, took his time out to make sure he had answered all my questions and still has followed to check on how things are going. The gratitude did not stop there, From the Sales Manager Victor Smith working out a great deal that worked for both of us on the trade in, and even Sales Manager Terry Jackson following up with delivery and prompt readiness of my vehicle. Overall this was A1 great service and I can not wait to return for a vehicle with my family and friends.

2021-12-10After going to several Kia dealerships in the Houston area, I finally found my Seltos at Community Kia. All the staff was great, courteous and very knowledgeable, especially Mr. Ed Morton, who made it super easy for me to make my decision. He explained everything and answered all my questions and even followed up after I took my car home to ensure I was happy. I am super happy with my new car. Thanks Community kia.
