Took extremely long to see a doctor which I understand as they are in high demand. However, during the visit the doctor didnt seem to be aware of medical history that I had communicated to the nurse who took my vitals and had to reiterate them again. I called them to get my lab results and they DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE after waiting for over an hour. Still have yet to recieve a response. They need to understand customer service is part of the healthcare experience as well.
They are really careless people!! They don’t worry about your pain or sickness just telling to sit in your car we will call you.. but they don’t call you for three to 4 hours and sitting in the car with pain and fever for 5 hours. They have only one Nurse which she check the patients.
Reading a lot of bad reviews, I went the last week for a ear infection, when I get there a nurse take my temperature and asked me the reason that I was there, I tell her and I wait inside of my car, they call me back on phone, ask me a couple question and wait a little more, I think was no more than 30 min, somebody came for me, I went inside of the clinic, wait for the doctor and he was super nice, the nurse super nice too (even she speaks spanish, my english sometimes is poor) the doctor saw me, asked me questions and gave me treatment. I will recommend this Clinic 100% they are very nice people and professional
I can see why this urgent care has such low ratings. Please save yourself the time and go somewhere else that will care for your health needs. I took my friend here around 6 pm , as she had been throwing up all day for 8 hours and could barely stand. We fill out all the paperwork, and wait for her turn to be called. Shes in a ton of pain, in tears the whole time. We waited over an hour to be told our doctor is booked and wont be able to see you. As she is writhing in pain, I ask if they can please just see her, 10 minutes to 8pm and all the other urgent cares around would be closed. I was told there was nothing they could do. Instead of telling us upfront when we walked in with two small children that they would likely not be able to see her, we waited patiently to be turned away with all other options taken away which is completely unacceptable. We ended up at the Seton Emergency Room. Please avoid this place at all costs if you value your health and time in any manner. This is a completely unprofessional and unethical clinic.
There was a bit of a wait but it was totally worth the wait. Everyone was polite and professional and they treated me for what I came in for so I would definitely recommend them if you need to be seen the same day and dont have the money to pay a high co-pay. I recommend you get to the clinic before 4pm because although they are open till 8pm they turned a few people away because they stopped accepting pts for the day. I got lucky and was able to leave work a little early so it worked out but on a regular work day that would be hard.
I feel bad that so many people have given this place 1 star just because of the wait time. Come on people, its a walk-in clinic open 7 days a week, do you expect instant service? And yes, the front desk lady is short and to the point, but rude? I dont think so. If I had to deal with all you crybabies every day, I would be short and to the point also.We brought our 3 year old daughter in yesterday because she has a bad cold and nothing else is open or takes our insurance on a Saturday. We waited about 45 mins...I actually expected to wait much longer. The nurses and doctor were awesome, knowledgeable, and really friendly toward a 3 year old. They gave both my kids stickers. They tested her for the flu and strep right away without us having to ask. Turns out she has the flu. They set us up with medicine and we were out the door. We were there a total of maybe 90 mins.Even if we had to wait 7 hours it would have been worth it because the staff was competent and knowledgeable and the most important thing was getting decent care for my daughter on a Saturday without spending $500 at the ER.
I brought my mother-in-law here for a checkup on Friday, March 1st. Despite the negative reviews, we experienced nothing but friendly front office staff, an amazing nurse named Jeremy (I think that’s his name!) and a wonderful female doctor with one of the best bedside manners I’ve experienced. She gave my MIL an ECG and determined we need to go to the ER right away - all while keeping a calm and reassuring smile towards my MIL who barely speaks English. We were admitted at the hospital that same day, my MIL had a quadruple bypass the following Wednesday. Their patience with their patient saved my MIL’s life. The clinic is clean, the staffs are amazing and IF I get rich, I would love to return the favor because they’re doing great service to the community. Thank you Hancock CommUnityCare!
Lady at the front desk had an attitude soon as I walked in...why?! Isnt this your job? And there is no one here but she had to check to see if they are still taking patients. At 6:30 when you close at 8. Next girl walked in and she was friendly with conversations and customer service. Lose the attitude or find a different job!
Get there just before 8am, be the first one in the door if you can. The wait is long if you come later in the day, but the doctors are great, Ive been here twice and gotten better help and advice from these doctors than my former specialists. If you dont have insurance, you can interview with someone for low cost care, they are very helpful, I was so surprised. Strongly recommend this place if you can get in early. Love these people 💖💖💖
Ive NEVER had a bad experience with this chain until today. The “supervisor” at the desk was very unprofessional and rude literally for no reason. She was rude to the previous patient and that carried over to me. I was simply there to get checked in and a note either cleaning me or saying im sicker than I thought. Instead, she said she couldnt see me or help me with that at a “walk-in” clinic. One that my doctor at another location Told me to come to. Never again will I come to this clinic. I rather miss money than come somewhere so rude for no reason.
I went into the office for a UTI. Was a short wait and saw a very nice doctor, named Dr. Smith. When leaving, they told me if I had any questions, feel free to call the office. Heres where it takes a sad, sad turn. Being on the pills prescribed to me for two days, I didnt feel good still. When I called them back to see what else they could give me for the pain, I got put on hold for literally 5 hours and 11 minutes! Yes, I was annoyed and could of hung up! However, I am laid up in bed and have nothing better to do. Once someone finally answered, I was first told, I needed to come back in. Seriously? She then said I could talk to a nurse, to which, guess what! Got put on hold! What made it worse? I got disconnected some how. While the doctor and nurse I saw on Sunday were professional and thorough, the front desk staff is a complete opposite. Unprofessional, lazy and down right rude. Its a shame that such good doctors and nurses have to work with such incompetent people. And in reading other reviews, I see Im not the only one who thinks that. I really hope the company will do something about it, because at the heart of the clinic, they do good work. Its just the rest that needs a serious overhaul.
If youre looking for fast, friendly, and accurate service then this is the clinic to come to. I brought my daughter in since her doctor had no available appts. I read the reviews and was little skeptical about coming but honestly this clinic was a better experience than our regular doctor. No long waits, no unnecessary test. Just upfront and honest service. I will come back!
I always go to this clinic. Although the front desk personnel are not so smiley, but they are very helpful and will give you good information. The waiting time is longer, but it is uncontrollable, because they have so many patients and each patient should be well checked, and it takes time.In general I am satisfied with their service.
This place does not care about the accuracy of their diagnosis or records and 50% of the staff we interacted with are incompetent. The nurse or nurses assistant who saw us first took my daughters weight but not her height. My daughter is athletic in build 5’6 and weighed in at 146 fully clothed with a hoodie on. The report we were given at discharge listed her as overweight and provided instructions on how to eat healthy. Lol!!!The nurse read of my daughters symptoms as provided by the assistant and it listed two symptoms we did not tell her and had nothing to do with her complaint. As we were leaving we told the lady at the front that because we now qualified for MAP we needed to switch the pharmacy on record for the prescription we were given. She said she would do it now. I could tell she wasn’t really going to or she had a great memory because she didn’t write down a note. Low an behold. I rush from work to the pharmacy wait in line for 15 minutes only to be told the prescription was never transferred. I then had to go back to CommUnity Care (should change their name) and get it done in person. Waited another 15 minutes there. Then back to the pharmacy! All the while my kid is suffering and behind on the meds. The gentleman who handles financial assistance in the Business Office was very helpful and patient with the process. He needs to find a better place to work as not to be lumped in with this locations inadequacies.
Ive actually never been into this building. Instead I have received nine phone calls from them in a five hour period. When I answered they asked me for patient records, and I politely told them they have the wrong number. One minute later they called again, and I told the gentleman that I had just explained to someone how they have the wrong number and that Im frustrated they keep calling, he hung up. I then called the number back to be removed and was told we dont have any information related to your phone number. Then they called me again, when I answered they hung up. They called again 13 minutes and put me on hold when I answered before they disconnected. I called the number back a final time and he told me it wasnt possible that they had called me, clearly not the case. No apology, nothing. These people are completely incompetent, clearly. Getting any sort of medical help from them probably isnt wise.
Staff came off as a little rude but it could be because they’re trying to get things done. I came as a walk in patient on a Friday during my lunch hour and only waited about 15min. Services was super fast, doctor/nurse was so nice, welcoming, with a warm demeanor. I honestly would come here again.
This was an awful experience. I got there 10 minutes after they opened and was told it would be a 1.5 hour wait. 4 hours later they tell me I might have strep throat and give me prescription for Aleve. Glad I looked up the prescription before I paid $15 for something I already have the cabinet. When I called to make sure this was the case, I couldnt get a straight answer and found out they dont prescribe anything for pain except OTC medicine. I thought I had found a network of clinics with good hours and location for emergencies but this place feels like a free clinic. I now realize I should have found a private family practice.
The lady at the front desk was so mean and rude to hispanic or spanish talking people..but not to people who talked in English. She had an attitude. She answered like if she was annoyed and we were one of the first patients. She should be nicer..we go there because we are sick and need help..she can do a better job by treating us a little nicer
!!!!!!!ASK FOR GENERIC MEDICATION!!!!!Walked in for an ear infection, got great treatment from the nurses and staff. However, when I went to pick up my prescription, they were near $300 dollars because they were name brand medicines. When I asked a pharmacist if I could switch to a generic, I was told they needed to speak with my doctor first. After dealing with this infection for near 4 days now, we paid the name brand price, because I could not wait. A walk-in clinic should know better than to automatically write scrips for name brands without at least offering a generic option first. People are literally dying from not being able to afford their meds, and actions like these make it worse. I am very lucky that I had enough to pay for these necessary medications, but what if the next patient isnt as lucky?
We went to this walk-in clinic today. We arrived there at 7:15. There were no cars in the parking lot no one in the waiting room. We came in and the woman said oh we stop taking patients already. With her very rude self. Why do you stop taking patients at 6:30pm and you close at 8oclock?
Everyones super nice. They move kinda fast paced so some people might take that the wrong way but you either get fast service or super long personal attention, dont be picky. It takes a while so dont expect to be here only an hour. Come when you actually have time, dont get mad at them.Came, was well looked after and got what I needed. No complaints here 🙌
Did a long research about this clinic, read the reviews online and took a shot just to see if it was as described by some of the other individuals and to my surprise it was nothing like it. Staff was anything less than professional and knowledgeable. The front desk lady was super sweet and attentive as well as the doctor that helped me.
I Rather give no Stars. Its a walk in Clinic, brought my daughter from school had to leave work because she wasnt well. I waited in the morning everyone else got to be seen after i walked in then more people came in and i was Last to be seen when i arrived early. The Lady was being rude interrupted while i was explaining how long till we be checked i was here all morning and afternoon and she was saying we dont do check at this Time.
I will not recommend this urgent care to someone. This is my first visit and I had a bad experience. Came in at 8:30 am and is now 1:30pm; still waiting to see a doctor. During all this time my symptoms are getting worse. Poor customer service; you can die in the room because nobody check on you or give you an update. Terrible
I once went here to see a doctor. But when I was talking to her trying to tell her about my medical problem, She kept overtalking & inturrupting me. I found that very rude. I was wishing I had seen a different doctor when I was there. I dont know if she is still there, But its been several months since I stopped in. Does NOT mean I wont come back,. I just hope next time, I hope to see a doctor who will listen!
They have things set up for the Pandemic so you must wear a mask and theyll approach you within a reasonable time to ask why youre there. Then they call your phone and a dr. will come out to speak with you or ask you to come inside. They also are administering COVID-19 test in a separate line but you have to get there early in the morning. I believe they stop at 1:00pm, CST if not at noon.
BEWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS (HEALTHCARE FRAUD)I never spoke with a doctor nor visited, I was looking for a Covid test and called by phone and first thing they requested all my information. They advised me a testing station and billed me for 200 dollars saying I spoke to a doctor WHICH I NEVER DID!! STAY AWAY!
I had such a negative experience here. I waited for an hour and a half to be told I have allergies. I take Claritin. I was told I faked my breath test multiple times, which would bring me no benefit. I was neglected and humiliated. This place is abusive. You shouldnt come here under any circumstances.
Super long waits. But, after a day trying to be seen at 6 other clinics (and failing), this place was super appreciated. And, the wait made sense, since its nearly impossible to see a doctor same-day elsewhere. Great business supporting the community! Im glad I went back.
I was at CommUnity care for over an hour and a half for the receptionist to tell me that I have to wait another hour or two Just to be seen by a doctor and because I have Medicaid it takes them longer to see me I then decided to leave because the receptionist was a very awful was not able to be seen. I am at FastMed Urgent Care on Manor Road where they take Medicaid and any insurance and also cash and now Im in the office waiting on the doctor to see me.
Unlike a trip to Brackenridge ER, this clinic has minimum wait times (Ive never waited more than 2hrs), the staff is wonderful-They treat you like a person, not a number. In short, they see you quickly, the staff cares about providing quality treatment, MAPs & Medicare are accepted, & best of all-Its NOT the Brackenridge ER/hospital!!
So I know we live In a time medical crisis where our healthcare professionals are working really hard to take care of alot of ppl, but can someone please answer a phone? some of us have non Covid-19 related questions about health service we may need. It would be nice to get a response instead of holding for a representative for 30 minutes with no answer.
Over a week to get COIVD-19 test results. Actually still have not received them. If you miss their phone call which could come anywhere between 4-6 days after getting tested, you are screwed. They leave a voicemail with a callback number but nobody answers it. Ive called over 40 times in the last few days. Left them voicemails but no callbacks. Do not get tested for COVID-19 here.
Horrible experience. I didn’t expect amazing quality of care, but this was just way over the top bad. Rude nurse, talked down on me and conducted a very poor assesment. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but if you can go to another clinic please do yourself a favor and do so.
So here is my thing.. I showed up on a Monday at 3:30pm and the lady up front on the second window said everything is booked for the afternoon which I was okay I walked out telling myself I was going to come Tuesday morning, I show up Tuesday at 11am and lady in the first window says that everything is booked for the morning that I can come back at 12:45 NOW this lady is talking to me while she is texting and will not even look at me, I said no I will wait for an hour in a half I don’t mind. I understand this is a walk in and who ever shows up first is taken first but something that really bothers me is the receptionist not taking it professional. I find it disrespectful when people are talking to you and they are just texting.. plus this is A JOB. I don’t know her name I am to sick to walk up there and ask her name all I know is that she has glasses and black hair.
Worst service I’ve ever experienced ever. Wait time is insane. No one even tells you anything, they just scream your name once in a while. Then you go back and sit in an icebox room for another hour waiting to be seen by a doctor. It’s like no one even cares about their job here, at least that’s how it seems.
I just went there today around I believe 4:30 pm and they told me at front we dont accept patients at this time, I asked why? They told me our physician are full and have enough people to see till 8 pm , but in lobby there was only one guy . Its not first time had happened to me many times. When u wait for 4 or 6 hrs than they till u oh we backed up come tomorrow. So bad
Well every one has their issues on things ive been there once years ago from being sick for a while when no one would see me because of my insurance that every one laughed at and this place took me right on in and now tomorrow since they are opened im going back again since i have a sprained wrist and even with my newly updated insurance they are willing to take me on in. and no im not a worker here im a customer and with the hell i get from every one else about my insurance this place has been awsome about it. so complain and not happy about the place then go some where else if you can afford it and if youre not picky about the place
Very bad experience, I went in with lots of pain at 3:30pm and the rude lady told me they couldnt see me, I asked her why of it was so early and she just told me to come back monday very early. She was really rude, honestly mu worst experience the waiting room was empty. Does any of yall know of a claims number?
Is the best customer service, they care about patients. Veronica and Aracely must to be part of training team. Before got here I went to Community Care at Pflugerville location and Braker Lane. They need more customer service skills, maybe an internship with Veronica and Aracely.
I had to wait for hrs also i came in the morning before but they said i had to wait till 3 o clock....on top of that i tryed to sign my daughter in and they wouldnt take us both they said the didnt have enough time it not a walk in its a pointment base never coming her again lastly they let other people in before me and they just came like i was here first
I never going to visit this clinic again is the worst clinic ever take forever to see you they are really rude and unprofessional I dont know how they open is so really bad and the doctors are bad the nurse are horrible I going to put a complain to the city of Austin because I saw a lot of people mistreated. And I will make the city shutdown this clinic.
Unfortunately I have to put one star, but would’ve put NO star. This place stinks, and the nurse practitioner doesn’t know what she is talking about. Told me my son was not whizzing, to which he was cause I could hear him and so did the nurse that took his vitals. Totally regret coming here, waste of time!
If I could give zero stars I would, the service is getting worse and worse, the lady who attends in front is super bloody and rude, it seems that they are forced to do their job, always reluctantly, they really should change their staff, the guard is the same, it is supposed that you go and ask why you need it and why you dont know how they work since they are always changing their hours of operation!!
Today I went to this clinic, I arrived at 5:30 in the afternoon and they no longer attended me because there was no longer an appointment and there were no patients waiting in the room. I only suggest that on this page they modify their opening hours because they do not attend until 8:00 p.m.They suggested that I come back tomorrow at 7 am for an appointment.
These are the clinics where the doctor tells you that he is going to give you a type of medication that will help you but the nurse with the face of a dog with anger decides to give you what she wants, she does not care if you ask 3 times the same thing as her He is not patient and works on Sundays because he has his tremendous snout as if a sick person apart from sick wants to see these types of faces better to stay at home !!!! For as long as Im dying of an earache and using a few drops of water that they gave me, by the way, they did not even send the order to the pharmacy, not because of the patient who fucks!
I should not give a star, the wait is quite understood that there are many people but they have 10 rooms to consult and the receptionist who touched me although he spoke Spanish was the one who did not speak and had a bad attitude, I appreciate you being attended after almost 5 hours of waiting, since I came from a montopolis tour where on two occasions they did not want to attend me and in my clinic in oak hills I had no appointments available ... but maybe they lack staff because the very friendly doctor, the nurse all angry if she doesnt like her job she shouldnt be there ...
Mmm mmm very bad experience the staff does not attend to the interns they spend it gossiping all day I have about four hours waiting for me to give me the resection of the madicina and they do not give me only I listen to them as cotorras able and abla and the poor people waiting are a pecime serbicio the bad k I do not know where to complain to change that staff

2022-09-12I hope I can give them less one star , poor costumer service and unprofessional staff at the front desk.I came to the clinic at 3:00 pm and the office should close at 8:00 and there was only one patient in the lobby and she said that I should take appointment to the walk-in visit!!! 😂Don’t waste your time here!

2022-04-13I arrived on a Friday at 1130 am, as a walk-in. They were booked for the afternoon, but as I had a long drive here, I asked if I could just sit in the lobby and hope for a cancellation. The staff person at the window was not hopeful but allowed me to wait. While we were talking, a cancellation came thru on her computer. I was so relieved and thankful. I wasnt there 10 minutes when the nurse called me in and took me back in to the exam room. Im sorry, I dont remember the nurses name, but I saw Ivone Bickham NP, they were both kind and professional. If I could, I would keep Miss Bickham as my primary care provider! There may be a wait if you walk-in, but be patient. I would return if needed, without any doubt.

2021-08-24Worst place ever. Got there at 11. Wasnt seen until 4pm. Told the doctor what was wrong and what medicine I was ALREADY using. She sent some minion in with a prescription I already have been using. She explained it was Prescription strength and stronger. It was the same strength as over the counter. They dont listen and they definitely dont care AT ALL. I would give minus starsif possible.

2021-08-16Your better off taking a chance and going to the ER. Went in for a UTI and the ignorant nurse practitioner told me I did not have a infection and had blood in my urine. She couldn’t prescribed me anything because I had nothing. Well I took my chance in going in to a ER and sure enough I had a UTI! This is not my first time being misdiagnosed at this horrible clinic.

2020-01-30Never made it passed the waiting area where people who came in after me went in before me. I waited over an hour and never was called to give my insurance information. The woman at the desk was by herself and based off of the poor reviews it does not seem like the owner cares at all about who they hire. I dont blame the woman at the front desk for my poor experience because it was an overall experience and the fact that I saw nurses waltzing around and chatting made me even more irritated with waiting as long as I did. Customer service and seeing patients in the order they come in should be #1.

2021-09-08Terrible place to go just for a simple covid test. I thought it was a walk in and get tested type of deal but no. Waited in line about 2 hours only for the front desk lady to tell me that I need an appointment to be set up to get tested! No sign outside the clinic that says I need to set up an appointment what so ever. Not even Google maps says anything about setting up an appointment! Real s**t show!

2020-02-01This has been by far the WORST medical experience in my life! After waiting for 3.5 hours in the lobby I was instructed to wait in a patient room (which is where I am currently writing this review) and have been waiting to see a doctor for an infected thumb for 50 minutes and ongoing! To make things worse I can just hear the nurses and doctors laughing and giggling LOUDLY (not even trying to be subtle) about silly things like ordering pizza or one person sharing with another a “cool” video, while not caring about the lobby or treatment rooms full of patients with medical issues. On top of that you hear an employee jokingly tell another employee “maybe you should work” and then hear the other employee respond by saying “I work when I want to work. I don’t need a new job when I get paid to work when I want.” The ABSOLUTE most unprofessional “medical professionals” I have ever experienced in my life!I hear the doctor and a nurse speak about my situation outside of the treatment room. The doctor asks “how did his finger get swollen?” The nurse responds with “I don’t know. I saw it, it doesn’t look that bad, it just looks swollen and purple.”Finally the doctor comes in to my room to check my swollen thumb. I explain to him that I have a huge swollen purple thumb with pain spreading to my palm and it has been like this for about 4 days. He looks at it for 2 minutes and recommends ibuprofen/Tylenol along with antibiotics, and to go to the ER if the rest of my thumb and hand starts to change color. After all of 4+ hours that’s the kind of attention I receive?Definitely not worth it. I am never returning here again! I would much rather go spend my money at an urgent care or ER instead of waiting 4+ hours for these clowns to recommend the obvious.

2019-12-31I went in for an ear infection, got checked in and everything to wait for them to call my name to enter my insurance and ID info. The waiting room had a lot of people, but moved through them quickly. I was called into the back at one hour and 15 minutes. Spoke with the nurse and waited maybe another 15-20 before the Dr came in. He sent in a prescription for antibiotics for my ear infection and suggested I take an allergy med, then looked up which ones I can take because Im pregnant. He was helpful and nice. I was out of there within two hours. An overall good experience. I expected to have a wait time because I went in around 10am on a holiday. Only used the walk in because my primary couldnt see me until the 16th.
