I applied online and I received a call back the next morning. Isaac assisted me with purchasing 2 bedroom sets and a washer and dryer. He was very knowledgeable and he answered every question we had. I would definitely recommend Conns and Isaac to anyone looking for new furniture. Keep up the good work Isaac!
If I could give a no stars I would. We are current clients and they gave us a misquote, then said they wouldnt honor it. Then passed around to 3 different reps. No return phone calls or emails as they said. Had to make several calls only to be put on eternal hold or transfered to VM that didnt take msgs. Asst manager said they made things very simple for us and hasnt sure what the problem was. How about you call people back or price things on the floor so theres no misquote.
The sales representative, Miss Rickie Ramos, was very helpful as well as one of the store managers, Esteban. Rickie answered our questions, and what she didnt know she went and asked, and came back with answers. Esteban was very friendly and as helpful as Rickie. They both made us feel comfortable and right at home yet very professional.Great customer service!
This is my first ever written review. I felt the need to post to warn others. I purchased a washer, dryer, and refrigerator from Conns during their Labor Day sale. The promotion was to buy 3 of the same brand appliances and receive a $300 Brookline gift card. I had asked the sales person 3 times if I needed to do anything to claim the promotion and he assured me 3 times that I did not. That it would be mailed to me automatically within a month.Fast forward to the delivery of the appliances. They were delayed on the delivery date. Then upon arrival, I had told the delivery men to please be careful of my wooden floors as this was a brand new home. The first they did was drag the fridge and left a big scratch on my floor. Then, we find my fridge had a dent in it. Conns had another one delivered so I was again without a fridge later than expected.Now I am waiting for the gift card. The only reason I purchased from Conns was for this gift card. (This was my first time ever purchasing from Conns). Lowes technically had a better deal for about $400 off what Conns was selling for. But I still decided to go with Conns because of the gift card. I contacted the store and they told me I was to register and claim the promotion online. I tried to do so but because a month had gone by, the promotion was over. I reached out to Conns, LG, and even Brooklinen because I felt completed cheated.Due to the misinformation the sales man told me, I basically lost $300. For a company the size of Conn’s you would think they could help reconcile. Nope. I feel helpless so I’m writing this review to say I absolutely DO NOT recommend Purchasing anything from Conns as they told me there’s nothing they can do. Really? Nothing?I’ve never experienced such a poor overall experience. Over the span of one month there were multiple incidents that should have been avoided. I would not have spent thousands of dollars at this company had I known it’d be the worst experience. Please do not support this company.
Very friendly staff, very eager to help, and very quick.Update: very helpful and quick when trying to make a sale. Once the sale is made youre on your own. Also, brush up and become an expert in appliances because they wont tell you everything you need to know and will say its because its something you shouldve already known.
The store manager Jason went above and beyond to help me. He answered all of my questions and helped me make an informed purchase. The best part was that instead of being concerned with selling me the most expensive appliances, he listened to my needs and helped me choose items that fit what I was looking for. I walked out of Conns purchasing 2 appliances and spending less money than I anticipated. Thank you for being ethical and putting my needs first.
Armando greeted us with warmth and professionalism. Overall great experience at this store. He took time to explain all that was explained to us when we were approved for our purchase! For being in sales for only less than 6 months, he was AWESOME! We will be returning thats for sure!
Terrible customer service… We bought some mattresses and a box spring Via credit however we ended up not needing the box spring after all. So I called to let them know prior to delivery and they stated for me to just refuse the product at delivery time which I did. Fast forward a few weeks received my bill and the box spring is included but remember the product never made it into my home. So now that I am asking for a refund for the box spring they are making it nearly impossible. They refunded my money but now are demanding they come pick up my box spring when I don’t have it and I have been communicating with the manager he is trying to help but now I am being held financially responsible for a product I do not have and making nearly impossible to get a refund back. They clearly are not communicating in house and the delivery drivers dropped off my wrong mattress and also never delivered my pillow bundle .. worst service and delivery. Save your money and go somewhere else..
I enjoyed myself at Conns today.I was helped by Isaac he was very respectful patient help me out a lot explain the details on the items I was interested in he took his time walked around the store with me. Isaac the best salesman ever. I would love to do business with him again.
We weren’t greeted when we walked in. No hello, how are you, nothing. There was a lady and a salesman at the front. They didn’t say a word to us. Then we had to find our own sales person. She was very pleasant with helping us with our purchase. I will give her 5 stars!
Warning warning I got an LG French door refrigerator it lasted two years before the coolant went out now my wife and i Purchased a Refrigerator French door model july 15 2017 and we have had a total of 5 Technicians out to fix a loud noise and its still not fixed .the ice takes forever to dispense the frigerator is very noisy We bought extended insurance on this cons in no way is helping us fix there problem acting like we deserve nothing giving us problems and excuses on every turn BE WARNED if you spend your money here you will go through the same Our next step we are writing emails to the local news and media exposing their conn on our money and time KXAN KVUE & FOX 7 on your side
Just finished paying off an appliance that I could not get at Home Depot. I was reluctant to use Conn’s originally and my reluctance was confirmed as they weaseled an extra $100 out of me (on a $1200 purchase). You must must read all the docs on any credit purchase. Insurance, processing fee, same as cash monthly payoff blah blah blah. The sales rep says one thing…the docs say a different thing. Never never never going into a Conn’s again. Perfect name they have though!
My experience has been awful. I purchased a refrigerator, washer and dryer combo on September 5th. Sonya told me my items would be delivered on time. Then I come to find out that they fill other deliveries with your if you don’t have it delivered right away. Not once did she ever mention that to me. Then she told me Lowe’s and Home Depot operated the same way. I went to both stores and they told me they don’t do business like that. So despite her insisting my delivery would be on time, my date got moved to whenever they have the item. Meanwhile they have three thousand dollars of my money while they have me on a wait list. And I bought the items back in September. All they say is she shouldn’t have said that. Great how does that help me. The only positive is that Adrian the manager is trying to help me. No sales person there knows what they are doing. They all tell you a different story. Be careful when you buy anything there. Don’t assume your sales person knows what they are doing.
Since I cant get an issue resolved by Conns I will warn others before you purchase from them. My wife bought a washer and dryer form the store off Walzem Rd in San Antonio, TX and have had no issues with the purchase. However, getting a repair on that new washer is almost impossible. Approximately two months after getting the washer it got an error code and I called the repair number. After talking to the customer service rep it was discovered they had no one listed in the area where I live to come service the washer. Customer Service advised they will try and find someone to get the repair done and will contact me back. FAST FORWARD 2 1/2 weeks later and finally get a call and said they cant find anyone so we are going to get you a free exchange. ALRIGHT I will have a working washer again. NOW the however to the replacement. The replacement code has to come another department and they will email and call you in a few days with the code and you can go to the store to pick new washer. Fast Forward again 1 week No call or Email and called customer service back for the status. Customer Service rep says she doesnt know why I havent gotten the code yet. She says it shows in the system it was approved and the other department should have given you the code. Rep said I will escalate this by email and they have to respond in 24 to 48 hours. Fast Forward again 4 days and no call or email. I am now on hold for 36 min and waiting........ NOTE: ALL the Reps have been super nice but the company has a major issues with resolving problems BUYERS BEWARE
Worse of the Worse! We bought a Refrigerator on January 1st. It was supposed to be delivered on the 3rd which it was comfirmed with the sales man and via Email. We reached out 20 minutes after the delivery time was up and we got different answers. We spoke to Customer Service via Phone. We spoke to the store Manager and they couldnt help us with the delivery. I told the CS person that my food was going to spoil and he replied with well dont you have an extra Fridge? We cannot help you with it. So not only my problem wasnt fixed they also gave us a new time frame which its towards the end of the next business day. Worse customer service Ive dealt with.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!! My wife and I went in to buy some couches and we found a set that we liked. The guy who helped us told us that the whole set was in stock, the love seat, couch, and recliner. We paid for the recliner in full, and the other 2 couches we were gonna do in payments. We called the warehouse that we were told was gonna have the couches for pick up, and they tell us that the Recliner WAS NOT IN STOCK! We call Conns and they say that the recliner we paid for already WAS NOT IN STOCK! And they didnt know when it would be in stock again!
This Conn’s has the best customer service in Austin!!!! Adrian, the manager took care of our problem we had with the north store for 3 weeks, in 20 minutes!!!! He truly cares about his customers and is compassionate about his job and making customers 100% happy with their purchase. He has restored my faith in Conn’s and will be buying our next purchase at that location!!! Adrian rocks and everyone is very friendly! Thanks for restoring our faith in Conn’s, Adrian!!!
Isaac and as perfect. He let me do my thing and browse with out selling me. When I came in to sign the papers Andrew was amazing in making sure the item would fit. I have a trick space and we measured to be sure. They were able to find the right item that would fit. You have an amazing crew with them and you are very fortunate to have such great product assortment and such great associates that make the buying process and price seamless and convenient. Well done. You have a customer for life and I will always recommend your store products and service
The sales men Damion was rude, very pushy, he seem cool at 1st but then I noticed he didnt know anything about the products he was selling and got defensive when I tried to read the contract he rushed me and then said its only 7 initials and 2 Signatures it used to be longer i was very unsatisfied and will not come here again. Also im stuck with a product that if I want to return i have to pay them $90 for them to take it back plus I lose the down payment. So thanks for making my 1st experience to your store an awful one.
Liane, at Conns was awesome and helped out so much.. I’d definitely recommend people looking to get home furniture, to come to Conns and see, Issac And Liane. They will not try to sell you what you don’t want instead they will help you look around and give you the freedom of not being pressured to purchase like other places do! Thanks guys for everything 💯

Isaac was extremely generous from the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out. He answered every question we had. Made sure we were 100% sure with our decision, and made the process of purchasing super easy! The store is well organized and the customer service is impeccable. Im definitely recommending this Conns to everyone who is looking for furniture or appliances.
Isaac was great in helping us buy bunk beds, dressers, mattresses and a dish washer and is still doing his best to help.........HOWEVER, their installation team..... What can I say..........Everything was delivered the next day after purchase and had a great experience with them but when it came to my dish washer a different team needed to be scheduled, fine, scheduled a couple days out, waited ALL DAY and NOTHING, call and they had to reschedule 3 weeks out on Oct. 5th....no courtesy call to notify me or anything, but whatever. Night before rescheduled day at 9:30pm I get a call to confirm with window of 1-4pm. Ok. 4pm rolls around Again, NO SHOW, call and says she will call them to see where theyre at....THEN they call to say theyre in Austin on their way back to SA and will try and stop by later if not first thing in the morning. Ok I guess, what can you do, right? ......its now afternoon and NOTHING. Call and NOW theyre saying Oct. 14th.......not much I can do except wait and leave this review.... So here it is.....
Dont shop Conns again---I wont! Bought a Bose speaker Wednesday before Christmas and all was great until I went to return it the day after Christmas because of a duplicate gift. I paid cash for the speaker, but upon return was told I had to pay a 15% (60 dollar) restocking fee. Nothing about this spoken and nothing about this written. Just over and over again, Im sorry sir, this is just company policy. If it is company policy why didnt I know about it?The company name is Conns for a reason! Hold on to your money if you choose to enter.
Please do not buy appliances from CONNS. Their warranties are awful and it takes longer to fix. It is not worth the price. It seems a seriously inconvenient and it is a major hassle to deal with. If you can shop elsewhere then do it. Or if you buy their products, do not spend extra on their warranty. Get warranty elsewhere. I’m telling you it takes weeks before they can fix anything and they do not offer any alternatives. Their customer service is ridiculous and it’s not worth it.
I needed a washer and dryer. Isaac helped me pick out the set that would work best for my family, and thoroughly explained the difference between the different models. I had to finance them and they made that easy. Isaac explained everything about all the financing. It was an easy process. I was in an out in less than an hour and will get free delivery and set up tomorrow. Thank you!!

Marci helped me and she was great! Explained and answered all questions I had. Was super polite and took her time with me. I would recommend her as a salesperson if you ever need one at Conns. Also, they had good music playing over the speakers and who doesn’t enjoy that? :)
We walked in and were greeted by Ricardo Leon. His customer service was amazing! He helped us from start to finish and we will definitely refer our friends and family to him. He made the application process very easy and also was very funny which made the experience more personal rather than just straight to business. I cant wait to have my beautiful furniture in my new house! I also look forward to coming back to furnish the rest of the house!
My overall experience was great, took 5 secs to get approved and the following day when I went in to the store, I was in and out in 30 mins, very easy and quick process. My sales associate Isaac was great, very helpful and knowledgeable of all the products which made my decisions quick and easy. Will definitely keep going back.
My partner and I went looking for a mattress for our new place and we were working with Isaac. Isaac was great! He made me feel comfortable and confident in our purchase as he was very knowledgeable. We left with a mattress and and new 65” Tv! It’s always a pleasure. Thank you!

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!!! Customer service outside of the stores on the phone will make you feel like you got robbed for purchasing their products! I have been trying for almost a whole year to get my account unlocked online and I’ve been transferred to billing to make payments only. Every time I call, I get transferred around the billing department, expecting customer service.
I will only shop at the Southpark Meadows location and I only use the same associate every visit. However that insures that I am always satisfied with the service and the product that I’ve received. I’m a person of habit and this associates sales skills match mirror my own. I’m retired now, but you just can’t teach customer service skill, the associate has to have it and the company has to support it. Thank you Conn’s!
I’m normally deterred at the site of a furniture store since the majority of the employees are working for commission. But I had the pleasure of working with a gentleman named Isaac who was more than helpful, and made my buying experience one to be grateful for. I’m definitely going back for future electronic/furniture needs solely because of him.
Elizabeth Acevedo is a very Knowlegeable Sales PersonShe knows her job very well Ill go back anytime to buy anything I need from Conns.The two guys that Delivered the Sofas and Refrigerator was also very knowledgeable and very efficient in installing the refrigerator and setting up the sofa and love seats.
If we could give you zero stars we would. If you can stay away from them do it!!!!!RUN!!!!! My stepmom purchased a sofa and was damaged in delivery and “policy”states they can not replace or according to them now not even repair Because it’s not considered a warranty defect. The only reason it’s not being returned is due to credit issues we may have to deal with. If we have this much of a hassle trying to get something fixed properly for an item we can only imagine what they will refuse to remove from credit if it’s returned. Smh conns you have lost not only one but two customers. Once accounts are paid we will never deal with you again. Thanks but no thanks!!!!! Very disappointed in customer service and policies you hold. Y’all really do live up to your name.
We had two sales reps that were not informative at all. They never showed us the # only kept say your monthly bill will be so much for six months. So in the end the $2K table we wanted turned into a $4500 table... they never said it was a lease to own. We were very disappointed on how they treated us. I would’ve never agreed to pay double the amount for a table. Oh well... they did it and we learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson...
I highly recommend shopping at Conns. I got a Samsung curved TV from there recently. The monthly payment fits nicely into my budget so I am a very satisfied customer. Carmen is the best!! She made the process so easy. Anytime I need anything from Conns, I will ask for her. Andrew the manager is a very nice man too. If you need help rebuilding your credit go to Conns.
Conns in South Park has been taking care of my family for more years than I can count. Jaime was my sales guy but ended up leaving and I kept seeing this guy named Issac after wards. He’s very cool and will always get you what you need at a great price. Appreciate you Issac thanks for taking care of us!!! Conn’s is lucky to have you as an employee man!!
I would like to commend Isaac. Hes an outstanding salesman who will go out of his way to get you the best deal possible. I must say that I dont have the best credit so when I applied on line I was skeptical. Then within a few minutes they come back with a YES for 5000.00 dollars. If you decide to pay them a visit you must ask for Isaac, hes the best.
I was supposed to receive a call the day before to confirm delivery and to make sure the time frame would work for me. They waited until after 8:30pm the night before to send an automated message notifying my they would deliver first thing in the morning. The message also stated if the time frame wouldnt work, to call the included phone number. I called immediately and it rang for about 10 minutes. I finally gave up and called the store where I spoke to my salesperson. He informed me that it was too late to change the delivery, despite me explaining to him that they waited until late in the evening to let me know when they were coming. He also gave me a phone number and told me it was for the Austin warehouse. He said I could call and maybe they could change it. I live in Austin and said I could just pick it up. He said they cannot do that. I called the number he gave me and it was for the Houston warehouse, not Austin. The Houston warehouse told me there is no number for the Austin center. He also said it was not a warehouse, but only a distribution center. I was told all sorts of conflicting information. The reason I needed to change it was because I had class the next morning and I am required to be there. I had to skip and got penalized for it since I could not change the date. No one offered to do anything to make up for all of this, despite me spending over $3,000 in the store in one visit. They didnt even offer to refund my delivery. I was willing to pick up the merchandise from the distribution center so I could make it to class and they would not let me. I will never do business with them again. I feel once they received my money and an agreement, they were no longer in customer satisfaction.
I like shopping here I only buy TVs. I bought my 65 inch TV here I had great help. I went through everything a couple of times. Its a little pricey but with Finance its okay I wouldnt recommend to buy anything else accept TVs tablets computers thats okay for me its a very clean place. Nice help a bunch of young people work there. I think all the females that I have had help with Ive been very good.
With everything thats going on in this country right now; especially with this virus thats hitting the US! I was surprised that Conns was open for business.... And I was able to get what I need it. The sales person that attended me was so patient an understanding.I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted or need it... But with the helping hands of Conns employees everything seems to work out just wright.....😱👍
I came in with the items that I needed to purchase in mind. My sales person, Issac, walked me through the process of purchasing my items. He provided excellent customer service-he was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable! I was very impressed and I will refer my friends and family to Conns at Southpark Meadows to see Issac.
Walking into Conn’s began our nightmare once we made our purchase. The couch with dual recliners was delivered and we discovered it would not recline without manually pulling the foot part up and to get it to go in you have to stand up and push the foot in with your feet. As the contract stated they don’t do returns unless it is inspected by a Conns service tech and found to be defective. Well they inspected it and said it was defective. We decided to return it and was told the only way they would take it back was if we exchanged it. This is NOT what the contract states. So unless you want to be in your nightmare I suggest you shop elsewhere. They will not honor their part of the contract.
Regina initially helped with finding the TV i wanted then the manager came by and took over, he went above and beyond in making sure we got in and out as fast as possible. The first tv i chose had a dead pixle upon inspection and opening the box. The second one was fine. Would definitely recommend this store/team to friends and family.
I am so pleaseantly surprised at just how nice my experience was. Regina was excellent and answered all of our questions regarding our new living room set and was very knowledgeable about our new tv as well. I honestly am surprised I haven’t stopped here before. We will definitely be looking forward to coming back!!
I was in store today ready to purchase a living room set. I will say I was welcomed warmly. I did one last lap around to make sure I would be happy with my selection, no one asked me if I needed any help. Once I was ready I took a seat on my selection and was kind of just hanging out. I sat for a solid 20 minutes, there had to be at least 20 employees on duty, not once did a single person try to help me, even though at least 4 walked right past me, making eye contact and continuing on. After another 10 minutes or so I stood up made a yall got one chance left lap walked past 5 employees at the front desk and proceeded put the door, cash in hand, no new couches. Some may say well hey were they busy? The answer is no, I was one of maybe five in the whole store. Hope yall dont work on commission.
They are liars. I bought furnitures after them convincing me that I will have interest free for 24 months, as results, I have been charged interested from the first payment till today. When I called them, they blamed it to computer system error and that they cant fix the problem.Be careful when it comes to 2 or 3 years free interest!
I went in to Conns to see if they had any small decor. I was quickly attended by Vicky and she showed me what they had but, it just didnt fit my color scheme. I asked to show me the TVs and she took the time to show and explain all models. I walked out with a nice 65 Smart TV . Vicky is a good saleswoman and not pushy. She is now my future sales person. Thank you Vicky. Good job.
My spouse and I recently visited Conns for the first time. The excellent customer service and considerable product knowledge, provided by our Sales Representative,Chris Brown, completely exceeded our expectations.Customer service is very important to us and this encounter made deciding to become a Conns customer easy! We have already begun recommending Conns (and Mr.Brown!) to family and friends, for great value and an overall excellent shopping experience!

I have been a custoner for conns over the course of 5 years. The first two purchases did not go well. Had a lot of issues setting up the account and conns adding hidden fees. However, this time was very very smooth. The salesmen didn’t try to up-sale me or make it complicated. He was nice enough to explain the differences between brands. When the signing came, he showed me exactly what was being charged. So my experience this time around was awesome! Thank you conns!
On top of their poor return policies, I purchased an AC unit from a representative that casually failed to mention I wasn’t able to return. As a first time customer, I was shocked when I stopped by today to get my money back and return the unit. My experience disgusts me. Conn’s will never earn another dollar from me again. Lesson learned. Keep you’re head on a swivel folks when you shop here. It’s not the shopping experience you’d expect.
Amazing salesman the manager was at the location. I would recommend this location to anyone interested. I live in Grand Prairie and would come back for the customer experience I received here. I knew what I wanted and he said I would leave with it that day. Im typing this review now from it lol. He cracked jokes from the moment we got in and made us feel welcomed. He was attentive and really cared about the customer. I hope he stays another 10 years
I went to Conns located at South Park Meadows in Austin Texas. Was looking for a washer and dryer and was assisted by Issac. Issac was very knowledgeable about all the different name brands and was very helpful. Issac helped me choose the best one that worked for me and my budget. I was very pleased with the service I received.
I decided to purchase from Conn’s because they said they could deliver next day. When the guys came to deliver and install my washer & dryer, they stayed they couldn’t complete the install until I had a plumber move a drain pan 10 inches away from the wall. I had a plumber come out and make the changes the next day. Conn’s then sent out a team of 5 people to supervise the install. They then said the drain pan was still too close to the wall, so they recommended I completely remove it. Frustrated, j agreed just to get the machines installed. Five minutes later, they came down and said they didn’t have the correct install kit and would need to reschedule YET AGAIN. Honestly, I wish I bought from Lowe’s or Best Buy and spared the headache.
Every single time I come in to make a payment the sales people just stand there and act like youre invisible its ridiculous. They have poor customer service if I could give them no stars I would. I just walked out of there from paying my bill when I walked in I walked to the front counter there was like 5 people standing in the front no one greeted me no one asked what they could help me with, one of the girls walked off and the other put her hand in front of her face and put her head down it wasnt until I said oh I guess Im invisible that she decided she was gonna help me. This place is ridiculous. The staff needs proper training on how to be a good sales person and how to have good customer service.
The furniture is horrible. I’ve only had the couch a few weeks and wanted to return it. They told me I could not return the couch because I paid cash for it. The tv’s might be great but the furniture is horrible. I wouldn’t EVER recommended anyone to buy furniture here. If I could give zero stars I would
Will never purchase from here again..I bought $3000 cash worth of furniture about 3 weeks ago and they said they will send me by mail a gift card and till now I have not received it.Have call the store to speak to a manager and all they say is he will call you back and never does. I regret purchasing from here and won’t be going back.
Changed my review from 3 Stars to 2 Stars. When I marked 3 stars, Conns send me a certified letter in the mail to contact the customer service center in regards to my review. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with them, describing my negative experience with the GM of my local store, they said...... ok sorry for your experience. Hopefully if you ever come shop at Conns again, you will change your mind. AND THAT WAS IT. Not anything to compensate for my experience, not a coupon, NOTHING. I was shocked! I had to DRIVE TO THE POST OFFICE and PICK UP this dumb certified letter. FOR WHAT?!?!?! So they can have feedback they do NOTHING about. Absurd. Rude manager with no customer service skills and wasting my valuable free time. I opened an account to build my credit. Now that it is fixed, I will NEVER use Conns again, and mostly based on this HORRIBLE follow-up.
I will NEVER do business with this company EVER AGAIN! They tell you that you have a 10 day grace period to pay your bill but will harass you and call you MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY until you make your payment! And to top it all off they have rude customer service representative as well. Went in store to make my payment and the representative taking my payment charged me TWICE! and I had to wait 3-4 business days to get my money back! If I could give no stars I would! This company is very unprofessional and I will never recommend them to anyone!
There was a slight problem with the store communicating with their Finance Company because they have an outdated system to communicate with. After about the 5th or 6th message back and forth, the finance company finally called the store up to get the issue cleared ( the sales associate I was working with told me that the store has no way to contact the finance company, the finance company can only contact the store which I think is also pretty dumb). That is the only reason that they did not get 5 out of 5 stars. It is 2018, they should have better lines of communication with their own in-house Finance Company, especially considering I am sure they communicate with one another pretty frequently throughout the day. Either way, the sales associate and finally a manager helped and helped clear up the issues with the finance company and in less than 24 hours my new washer and dryer will be delivered and hooked up at my home.
Not too happy with recent transaction! I am a current account holder. I went in for a TV and mount. They insisted in having my home owners insurance policy even though I am a current customer and its on record from previous transactions! I have been a customer account holder for more than 5 years.. paid off numerous items!! Took 2 hours to get them they wanted and to get transaction approved and loaded. Really guys. Who Carries s copy of their policy... geez
I am giving you 5 stars for Mr. Padilla, he was an amazing assistant, however, the manager today was really rude, Adrian should be more about customer service and pleasing the customer....Was truly disappointed in his behavior and how he interacted w a high paying customer
Sales people are where constantly behind us asking a lot of questions even though we told them several times we were just looking for now. One insisted on getting a credit check to see what we could by so we did. Continued to push items we were definitely not interested in based on the credit they gave us. We left and said thank just to get a call later that night and the next day about coming back and buying something. Now we get letters constantly.
I Highly recommend Conns to anyone who is looking to lease furniture they always take care of my familys needs. I always specifically as for ISSAC he is a great salesman and takes his time explaining the contracts and products. We also got the chance to meet the new manager Diego he did a Fantastic job in closing our deal. Thanks to Conns we have been able to furnish our new home and build our credit with a great company!
Update from my last post. After leaving my last review some one reached out to my husband and worked out the cost. They knocked off more then half the cost and we really appreciate it. I gave them a five because they are a great business and did not make me beg for help. My husband has had 2 open heart surgeries and starting on his 3rd so money is tight. Thank you Conns and we appreciate your concern and care for how your customers feel and trying to fix a problem when it arises. BIG THANKS FROM THE MCALISTERS
It is absolute policy from corporate and local management to not respond to issues. Had a Bed frame ,fridge delivered July 2016 ....headboard damaged...talk to management ...they promised a replacement would be sent out and replace damaged one. contacted manager and assistant managers ...not one return phone call.called salesperson....she suggested corporate...so I called corporate.. they assured me it would get taken care of...month goes by..i go in talk to assistant manager..calls corporate they explain they have request...but its to late. assistant explains.. He will have manager call me. Soooo no call. So my recommendation to new customers is to look elsewhere..This company has no ethics in what they are doing in business. now this bed is in my spare bedroom we seldom use ...but we paid premium dollar for this frame. guess my next step is to contact the Attorney general and see what they say....The reason I have spent so much money at this place is because I like Darci my salesperson..and I love supporting good people..but Im afraid this will put a damper on her sales commissions...She is already so embarrassed to how this company is treating me ..a customer who has spent thousands in this store..and has NEVER missed a payment in a few years. Oh well maybe they will be a little lenient and patient on some of those customers who are having a hard time making their payments? Ha! Ha! Ha!N O T !Best wishes guys!
I want to start out by saying that years ago I went to Conns and vowed that I would not return to that store. I had a bad experience with an employee and the attitude, high and mighty attitude. Recently I moved back to Austin and I was looking for furniture, wasnt really set on anything imparticular. I dont have perfect credit but its not poor, I really dont even like to put stuff on credit but we had no where to sit in my house LOL. I was googling where is the best places for good prices and such, of course Conns pops up, at first I remembered that incident and I was like oh no way, then I was like well lets apply and see what happens, never know until you try again. I applied, I got a call from a friendly guy, Jeffrey Olaes, he was calling to give me good news! I was approved as long as I could provide more info that they needed. He was at the south store, which is a bit out of my way but I thought well since he reached out to me Ill go there. He changed my view of Conns completely, not pushy no pressure, he listened to what I had to say and helped me find exactly what I needed. I am not an easy person to deal with, Im very matter of fact but he did a very good job. Sorry for the long review but thats how much I appreciate his time, I dont do many reviews. Other than the Dallas cowboys fans that work there, I was very happy.... LOL JK sorta. But yea thanks Jeffery you made my experience a good one that I am very happy with.
Hate the hard sell. They have some sort of 1950 used car lot methodology. Back off Sparky, I see the $2500 refrigerator, Im looking at the cheap one on purpose. Yep Ive been here for 20 minutes and here comes the manager to tell me about the free delivery. Does this style work on people? I just leave when they dont listen to pleas of Just Looking are ignored. Do some people go from the $600 icebox to the giant Transformer ice cube chef by badgering?
I purchased a big screen and blu-ray player from here with a really good deal and to be honest, I am very very satisfied with my purchase. I dont normally shop at Conns, but this deal really couldnt be past up. I got a line of credit so that I could pay in a year and I had no issues there either. I would go in every month to make my payment since they dont have any online process to do so. The area seems run down too. The staff was ok to work with, but I dont think that I would be shopping here anytime soon.
I would strongly recommend NOT purchasing products from Conns HomePlus. Since becoming a customer last year, I have been lied to, mislead, misinformed and deceived by this company. I am confident that their actions are in direct violation of Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA). And I am seeking assistance from a consumer law attorney.I bought a living room sofa and lounge set from Conns HomePlus 12901 N Interstate Hwy 35 store number 1100 in Austin, TX 78753 and had to to return it in May 2016 because it was defective. I understand that things like this do happen from time to time, but here I am almost 9 months later without resolve. My issue is not with the defective furniture, it is with Conns HomePlus customer service or lack there of. After the defective furniture was picked up/returned to Conns, they offered me an exchange for a different set. I was not interested in any other available option at that time. All I wanted to do is return the defective furniture and pay any additional fees, etc. As I found out this would be rather difficult. In fact it took over 5 months for them to give me an account balance! Every time I called and spoke to customer service they would tell me that this needs to go to our offline department and you should call back in 72 hours. I did call back what seems like 20 times since May. I was also told that someone would call me to discuss my account. I have never received one call to discuss my account. I do however have the Escalation Case numbers to prove that I have tried everything in my power to close the account. Please note that I was told each time that these cases were updated. That is why there are less case numbers than calls to customer service.Escalation Cases:486524503519I have spoken to what seams like a dozen representatives since returning the furniture on May 25, 2016. Initially I thought it was the incompetence of the employees but later figured out that it was just Conns HomePlus way of mistreating me. None of the representatives could give me a correct pay off balance or a clear explanation for the lack of follow through on closing my account. They told me my cash option was removed due to late payment. I didnt understand this. I have never been late on a payment not to mention the furniture was returned and the Bose sound bar was paid off. Finally one of the customer service managers, David Bearden (37192) said he could help me out. He admitted that the account/order should have been rewritten to show only the Bose sound bar. He then told me he had to submit my account to a different department for review and I should call back in 72 hrs/a couple of days. After a number of call backs I was able to get on the line with David again. He said that nothing had been done with the account and that he had to submit my account to Terry to have my cash option reinstated and pay 541 dollars. After a few more days I called back and spoke with David. This time he was able to give me a total balance due. From what I understood the balance included interest, taxes, prorated insurance, fees, etc. David gave me a payoff amount of 655.42. I paid the amount and David told me my account would be closed. He lied. After numerous calls made in an attempt to speak with David I finally spoke to a George who was able to get David on the line. David proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do for me and that I still owed somewhere in the 800 dollar range to pay off the interest on the account. At this point I do not know what to do. I am confused, frustrated and my credit report says I have a negative account with Conns HomePlus. I have not possessed the products in 8 months.Please look into Escalation Cases and listen to conversations. I would like the account to be closed out.
I was advised per the manager and my sales rep there would be 0 interest if i paid off before the 1st installment (30 days after purchase). Two weeks after purchase, I call to pay off and Im charged interest per day (almost $200). I also got stuck purchasing insurance through them when they advised they would refund me. oh, and I have texts from my sales rep that i wouldnt be charged interest yet the manager leaves me on hold for 35 minutes in awkward silence just to tell me theres nothing he can do except give me the direct number to corporate....the number he gives me is for customer service. ha. well jokes on them, ive gone to the BBB. I WILL get my money back and i wont stop fighting. Im 24 and have worked 3 years to save my money so i could buy my first real furniture set just to get lied to and stolen from. Sad thing is, i have maybe left one bad review in my life on a business. This will be the second. Dont let this business scam you. Look at their yelp reviews and dont let the google reviews fool you.
Our sales lady gave us a headache once we signed our agreement and were waiting to have our washer and dryer delivered to us. She kept calling us telling us they would be delivered this day then call us and saying never mind Samsung never sent us any. She called on a Thursday and said they would be delivered on Sunday but then on Saturday she called us and said they would not be delivered because she just had to put the order in all over again. She said it would take another week or so to have them delivered. We were frustrated and told her we didnt want to wait another week or so, so we told her we would be coming in Monday to get a refund. She said ok see you Monday. But the laundry gods must have heard our frustrations because on Sunday afternoon, the day she said they would not be delivered, guess what? THEY WERE DELIVERED! We told our delivery guy who was awesome by the way what was going on and he said Yeah that girl needs more training or to do the training all over again. Glad our washer and dryer were delivered by 2 awesome gentlemen but I will be making my payments online because we cant deal with the employees at the South Park Meadows location. They need more training on how to be nice to customers and stop the nasty looks when youre walking around!!!
Called and asked if they carried gas dryers and spoke with Leo...he assured me they did. Husband and I came to the store and saw Leo which was the sweetest guy. Leo was plesant and patient with us he explained all of our options and made sure we had a clear understanding...We did purchase not only a dryer but the washer as well ..We were really dhicked that our delivery was the next day not omly was that fast but it was a SUNDAY...yahoooo Conns...big shout out to Leo again....SOUTHPARK MEADOWS
Heard about CONN’S from a friend and so happy I decided to drop in. Vickey was so nice and informative the entire time and made the process of getting approved so quick and easy! Absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you Vickey for your amazing customer service and answering all my questions.
This location employs an individual by the name of, Manny. This sales men, purposely mislead us and Ill advised us on our puchase. This entire time we’ve been under a false impression on the interst rate of our purchase. He is obviously poorly trained, and/or a real CONN artist.. my wife and I went to this location personally to confront this situation and individual but instead spoke to Andrew (manager) and explained this unjust unfair situation-he assured us he’d speak with many about his lack of professionalism... we called customer service and explained how wrongfully mislead we were and managed to at least wave a 100$ extension fee to pay off our puchase with in a 90 day period no interest rate time frame. From our perspective- my wife and I believe this was intentionally done by Manny! All for the purpose of a higher commission. Do your best to avoid this sales men.
If i could give them a zero i would! i went through there 3rd party vendor progressive and they are charging me almost 1,900 for only 2 twin beds!!! they didnt even gave any of the agreement forms. and they are charging me at least 600$ to get out of the contract i will never purchase anything from them again!
Walked in and was approached by Isaac and by coincidence he was the one that I have been speaking to over the phone for the last week about coordinating a type of appointment. Needless to say, I left about 15 minutes after entering with a new tv and very low payment.Isaac has helped my brother in the past and me this evening and I look forward to doing Future business
We had first gone to Conns at 12901 N IH 35 in Austin. When we arrived we walked around the store and found what we needed without any help from anyone. After about 30 minutes a manager finally came over to us, we showed her what we wanted and she took us to a desk, pulled up my account then excused herself and never came back. We sat there waiting for nearly 45 minutes while she walked around the store, and then finally sat down at another desk. That is when we had enough and walked out. We then went to the South Park Meadows store at 9900 S IH 35, where we were greated right away by Rawan Al-Qarqaz, she was extremely nice and helpful, she went over everything in detail, and when we asked questions about a product that she wasnt sure of the answer she found someone who could answer our questions instead of just making something up like a lot of sales people would have. Over all probably one of my more enjoyable experiences with a salesperson. We even stopped her manager on our way out to brag about our experience, and what a wonderful job Ms. Al-Qarqaz had done. Although I will never shop at the North Austin location again, the South location has a costumer for life as long as they continue to employ people like the salesperson we had. 2022-04-08Ive been doing business with Conns for almost 2 years now. Theyve always treated me like family. Just went there today and purchased a Dryer and stove. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by their sales person Marcy.She was very friendly and helpful with helping me decide what brand appliances I needed for my home. Marcy made it extremely easy and stress free. I was so happy with my purchase that I included a huge big screen TV to go with the sale . Thank you Marcy !

2022-03-03WORST!! experience ever went in to purchase washer and dryer informed floor rep Simon Zavala several time DO NOT want credit card only Conn’s store credit he opened a credit card WITHOUT my consent when I called and confronted him very rude told me when you get the credit card just cut it up it’s not a big deal spoke with 2 different store managers promised discount which I have yet to receive since I had already purchased the washer and dryer. Contacted corporate to file complaint several times no one seems to care all they say is it has to be handled in store all they can do is make a note in my account and follow up in 72hrs no one returned my calls. Called the store to speak with in store manager calls have not been returned. Conn’s overall has been the WORST unprofessional and rude customer service ever.

2021-11-07After Lowes failed to deliver a fridge we bought 3 weeks prior, we decided to shop at Conns and it was so much better. The gentleman that helped us was attentive but not aggressive and answered all our questions. We also got delivery 2 days later and they were fantastic too! Great shopping experience; we will be back for our next major appliance or furniture purchase.

2021-11-02Five stars for Isaac. I was shopping for a memory foam mattress in a box and after two unsatisfying visits to other stores in the plaza, I walked into Conns. Isaac greeted us and after I told him what I was looking for, he pointed me in the right direction and let me shop, noting that he was available if I had any questions. I dont like being sold so this approach was right up my alley. Conns earned my business after I found a mattress I liked. Thats when the excellent service kicked in. Isaac went the extra mile to ensure everything was just right and that I was completely satisfied.If you dont like the hard sell, or going through being educated about mattresses - as if you never laid on one before - go see Isaac.
