Recently had the pleasure of engagement with Corpus Auto Service. I was actually referred to them by another, very trustworthy mom & pop, garage; as they could not properly & in good conscience service my 2014 Range Rover. Last year, my car was serviced by a, different, local garage who had it for over 8 months, trying to get parts and tools to fix my car. Telling me that the problem was with my car and to get rid of my car ASAP, it was nothing but trouble. I happen to really like my car and think it’s a very safe vehicle. Almost immediately, out of that garage, problems started to arise; I found another who took it in. They did some break work and then assessed a problem they weren’t quite prepared to deal with. So, when I was told by this other garage that they couldn’t work on my car but they found one who could I was very nervous. I had major PTSD from the last experience not going so well. I was led to Corpus Auto where Nolan was not only informative and clear, he shared with me their mechanics qualifications and service history working on Range Rovers. He listened to my concerns and even went so far as to assess the work that had been recently done by the first garage; never once badmouthing them or anything. Nolan was very positive and optimistic. They had my car less than a week and were ready for me to roll it out. It’s driving like NEW!! I appreciated their modern service, way of presenting their assessment, and effective communication. Highly recommend Corpus Auto, great mechanic but more than that great people with good character.
On my first experience these guys did a great job repairing my Jeep Wrangler, Fast and thorough. Excellent warranty to boot but expensive.On my second and last experience I decided to take my wife’s Honda elsewhere because their estimate was essentially double their nearest competitor
The team at Corpus Auto Service was extremely helpful and professional. Saw my vehicle on short notice and took care of an existing job that they had quoted me for previously. The job was completed quickly and there were no surprises on the bill. Honest and friendly service!
This is the only place in Corpus Christi that I go to for any mechanical or auto needs! I love it there. They are fast, efficient, honest and definitely reliable! I’ve came several times and my wait time was short which is awesome and always got trust worthy quotes. Brian looked at my vehicle and told me exactly what the issue was without trying to fool me or add anything additional to the quote.When I spoke to Nolan on the phone to reschedule my appointment, he was very polite and friendly throughout the whole experience!There’s also a woman in the office that is so warm and bubbly! Their environment there makes you feel comfortable and welcome.

Before going on a road trip for the July 4th weekend, I called Nolan to make sure my Rover was ready. I left my Rover with them at 3pm on Wednesday, 6/30/2021. Before 5 pm, Nolan called recommending that I replace my front brakes and battery. I gave the go ahead to order parts and because they were really busy, I figured I wouldnt get it back till Friday. They surprised me by having my Rover ready before 3pm on Thursday! Then, I got another surprise the first time I stepped on the brake. In the past when I had the brakes replaced on other vehicles, they were always so touchy that your seatbelt would become engaged. And it didnt matter what shop I used. This time, I didnt get whiplash! Thank you Corpus Auto Service, yall are the best! BTW, my AC is still blowing like a blizzard. Super cold! Im so happy!!!On 3/18/2021, I had a new AC compressor, condenser, etc. installed on my Rover. I was blown away by the result. LITERALLY! My Rovers interior is all black, so its usually really hot when I get in it and it used to take forever to cool the inside. Now, I dont even turn it on high and it gets cold in no time. Friends have asked me to turn it down or off because they are cold. I am loving it and I love Corpus Auto Service. My Rover and I are ready for summer.Bring on the heat because Ive got a blizzard blowing in my Rover! Thank you Nolan for taking such good care of me and my Rover.I recently took my 2008 Land Rover LR2/SE to them to look at several issues. I also had the dealership in S.A. look at the same issues. Corpus Auto Service isnt cheap, but no garage doing quality work is. However, their prices were significantly lower than the dealerships. Nolan and Brian were the only two that I had a chance to speak with. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with me. Because of tbe holidays, I would take my car in to be worked on for a couple of days, get it back, and return a few days later to have more work done. I have had other garages hold my car hostage. I couldnt get my car back until ALL work was done according to THEIR time schedule. One other thing, the dealership told me that I needed front and rear brakes, rotors, etc. replaced. Corpus Auto Service replaced the back and told me the front still had some life. Its nice to know they werent going to charge me for work that I didnt need yet. And on the flip side, they replaced a couple things and didnt charge me! Thank you, Corpus Auto Service! My Rover is running great, better than when I bought it a year ago. I am very pleased, especially with a one year parts and labor warranty. Corpus Auto Service delivers great service and quality work.

I took my 2012 Dodge Ram truck into their shop because it was overheating and knowing they have excellent techs. I had previously had them repair the ac on my wifes Honda accord. They have good customer service, they called me with an estimate within a day of dropping off the vehicle. They repaired within 2 days after giving them the Ok to continue with the repairs. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, which is Excellent and speedy service. I highly recommend them and will use them again if need to.
I had a speed sensor go out on my 2016 Jetta causing it to go into limp mode. Corpus Christi Auto Service was prompt on diagnosis and only took a week to fix. The Volkswagen dealership would not take my car and said If they did it could take up to 6 weeks! I’ll be taking my VW and Mercedes there from now on!
I have had to bring my car in for NUMEROUS things. A/C went out, brakes needed replacing, body damage etc. and everytime i bring it in they fix it in quickly and for a fair price. They have been nothing but patient, flexible and professional in any interaction I have had with them. If you need car repairs (whether it be routine maintenance or extensive work required) i recommend bringing your car to Corpus Auto Service first!
Nolan was VERY Helpful on Getting My Son’s Mercedes Out and On The Road Again. Kept us up to date on what was being done and answered ANY questions that We Both had.I have used Corpus Auto For YEARS and Now My Son Uses Them. They have ALWAYS Been VERY Professional AND Fair. I originally came here last year for a quick look under the hood before a cross-country trip. I looked for a shop with great reviews and found this one, sometimes places dont live up to their reviews but this auto shop does. We are now trying to sell our car and had to get some things done on it. They were very knowledgeable and even gave me some great advice for selling. I really appreciate them going out of their way to shine up under the hood for me, that shows a lot of character. I had a water leak. They squeezed me in and looked at the car in less than 2 hours. They explained what the possible problems could be and the additional cost to diagnose itfurther so only paid $57 for the pressure test.Ultimately all of the possibilities were going to be too expensive so I decided not to get it fixed. Nolan at the front was very courteous and helpful. The waiting room was pleasant.
100% recommend Corpus Auto Service!! They were recommended to me by another local mechanic to take my sons BMW in for repairs which in itself speaks volumes about this establishment but that is literally just the beginning! Everyone knows that when it comes to repairs imports will ALWAYS be costly but thanks to Nolan who helped us from start-to-finish he made everything as pain-free as possible!! He was very up-front about costs & what we could possibly expect as an outcome. There was a small delay in getting my sons car back but it was something that was out of their control & Nolan contacted me immediately & let me know about the delay so it didnt even phase us having to wait an extra day. Alia who answers the phone was also super kind & helpful when I called & Brian their technician (I think was his name) was even nice enough to come out & discuss a couple of key points with my son when he went to pick up his car!! Corpus Auto Service is the very best! I left work recently, and my car battery was completely dead. It was already dark, the temperature had dropped into the low 20s, and there were very few people around. I called my husband, who came in his truck. We thought we could jump the battery using his truck. However, when he went to attach the cables, it might as well have been a foreign language - nothing looked familiar. After struggling without accomplishing anything for a good while, we decided to call Corpus Auto Service. Jeremy answered. He calmly and clearly explained how to remove the battery cover and where to attach the cables. It worked! Without Jeremys expertise, it would have been a long cold night. I wanted to like this place, I wanted it to be the one. I tried it a year ago and never wrote about it until now but its as clear as day to me. the man in the front is nice, I dont know if hes still there. he probably doesnt have anything to do with my issue, or maybe hes in on it. who really knows folks? were at the mercy of these mechanics. instead of writing reviews I should be learning to become a mechanic, I would be corpus first truly honest mechanic. come to me everyone I wont screw you! I went to corpus auto service because my belt would squeal. after they fix it they tell me that my spark plugs needed to be changed soon and my front brakes had maybe a couple of weeks left. instead of arguing with the mechanic who told me these lies to my face, I tell him okay and grab my keys, walking out the door with the full knowledge that Id never be coming back. my spark plugs had been changed not long before, and the front brakes have been fine a whole year later. you know what this is folks? its taking advantage of someone who is mechanically retarded, trying to squeeze out even more of what little money I have. mechanics make good money, just fix my gosh damn car and stop trying to hustle me please

I always take my car here, they always get my car up and ready to go ASAP. the prices are good and they dont try to jip you out of hard earned money. Another great thing they do is print you out a transcript of future maintenance they noticed that you might need to perform. I often suggest this place to my friends since they have never done me wrong.

While driving in from Houston the engine light came on my well maintained car. It took less than 10 minutes for them to check it, inform me of the problem (which was minor), and fix it.They knew I was stranded, and could have tried to upsell me, but they didnt even attempt to do so. I had a flawless and impressive experience.

They had my transmission rebuilt because the car would jump forward in drive, i had someone pick it up for me. Once reversed it jumped backwards. ( took it back to have adjustments made but i dont know how in the world they would let a vehicle that had just been serviced leave in that condition). It probably didnt even need to be rebuilt just adjusted! Buddy will say the tires were bad and they didnt want to test drive it.... They didnt have to, just putting it in gear there is no way they could say something wasnt wrong. I asked buddy to have ac checked because ac air wasnt coming out top vents, he said it needed to be replaced, (ac had recently been replaced w/in the last year) I spoke w/ the mechanic, he adjusted the vent and it now blows out the top vent, ac works and DIDNT NEED TO BE REPLACED. They replaced the carberator, once i got it home the car wouldnt start. I had to drop the tank and replace to fuel sender myself (sends fuel to carb)...the car now runs fine, If that was replaced the carb probaly just needed to be cleaned. I left them 2 remotes to my car, (1 battery was bad) got it back w/ alarm disconnected, buddy said they couldnt turn off...well after working on it they need to wire it back up! (It works fine now) They did suspension work and left my wheel covers off, very unprofessional. I spent a few grand thinking itd be running decent... I regret taking my car there. I couldve paid 1/2 somewhere else w/o just replacing parts and having someone thoroughly going thru vehicle. They had it for 2 or 3 months. Plenty of time to go thru it.
Wonderful to find an honest mechanic when traveling far from home. Buddy and all were honest and know what they are doing. Rates are fair and worked me in and did the work very quickly, even though they were really busy. Highly recommend them.

My Car Just went out of warranty an my a/c broke my brother refered meand they did a very good job. Did Work Quickly and told me about everything with the estimate before work was done. Made a appointment Thursday for Tuesday @ 9am. When I called I talked to Buddy, he was very friendly and I told him I wanted them to check my ball joints, he told me to bring it in on Tuesday @ 9am and would get it on a lift and we could look it over together and then he took down my info.So I bring it up there on Tuesday @ 9am, when I get there I let him know I talked to him on phone on Thursday and told him again what was going on with my jeep. He then tells me that he doesnt have a opening till noon, even tho we had a appointment for 9am....What is the point of having a appointment if this company isnt even going to go by appointments.If your going to make appointments with customs I would suggest you honor that.I was hoping this place was going to be my new machanic shop but no... I need a place that honors appointments that are made. If I cant trust that yall will honor my appointment we made, Im not going to trust yall working on my vehicle.You have to trust Your machanic shop, and even know Buddy was very friendly this is not professional shop.Fritz

I used this business once before got work done a week later my check engine light back on took it back they came back with an estimate of almost 1400.00 so I took it somewhere else ASE certification and repairs was only 280.00 really unhappy about that but am glad my car got fixed..
1. Dented my hood because they didnt know how to pop it open.2. Lied to my face.3. Claim that the brake switch and cruise control is not related to the clutch replacement they just did. (So I must have of those special cars that uses hand signals to disengage the cruise when the clutch is pushed in instead of those fancy electronic switches. Ok.)4. Used to be a reputable shop. Go elsewhere!!!!

2022-05-09Ive brought my Jaguar F-Type to Corpus Auto Service twice now, and Im very grateful to have such a great local shop. Jesse and Brian are both easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and highly professional. It really shows when the ownership and staff of a business are proud of what they do. 2021-02-11New to Corpus from SA and had an emergency with my 2006 Mercedes E320. Had to get back to SA before the ice storm. Ed Hicks Mercedes-Benz DEALERSHIP just down the road could not have cared less - service tech said at least 24 hours to two days to diagnose, and didnt even attempt to accommodate.Looked at Google maps for the next German garage and Corpus Auto Service was a half-mile further down the access road (next to the UPS store). Was greeted with a smile. Tech was understanding, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Even though their parking lot was full and were apparently very busy (just like the Mercedes dealership), CAS got me in to check my vehicle within minutes of arrival. Apparently customer service actually means something to Corpus Auto Service. Repair crew is awesome as well. The shop was run like I would expect the dealership to be run.My mother recently bought her first Mercedes from Ed Hicks, and got a lot of run around and bait and switch on the price once she showed up to finalize the deal. As soon as her warranty runs out, I will definitely recommend she move down the road to Corpus Auto Service, so she can see how Mercedes drivers ought to be treated when they need service on their vehicle.Thank you Corpus Auto Service for getting to me so quickly when I had an emergency!!! 2021-10-14My Jetta had a number of things needing to be serviced and corpus auto service did a great job. The dealership told me I needed my brakes done and coolant flushed and they checked and said they were fine! I appreciate a company who tells the truth and isn’t trying to make me pay for unnecessary additional services. I had the transmission serviced, oil pan and sensor replaced, and spark plugs and coils replaced. They did it quickly and we’re great to work with!

2021-06-08Corpus Auto Service has a certified Range Rover mechanic who accurately diagnosed the issues each time I took in. There is no other place in the Corpus area that can tell you what is wrong with these complicated vehicles, most shops wont even want to touch it. The last time I took it in, they were honest enough to tell me that the cost of the repairs needed would exceed what the vehicle was worth. I appreciate their honesty! Since then they have reached out to check of everything was ok.

2021-08-09They were up front and honest about being busy, made me an appointment, I dropped off my truck and it was done within a couple of hours. 2021-04-13Professional, prompt and polite. I had what seemed like a very major problem in my Volvo that was so technical my local mechanic wouldnt touch it. Corpus Auto Service was able to accurately diagnose my vehicles problem the next day and turns out it was a significant problem but not the super expensive and impossibly difficult one that my local mechanic thought it was.If you have an import vehicle in the Corpus Christi area, then take it to these guys. Nolan is an excellent representative for Corpus Auto Service, and I will absolutely bring my Volvo back here (apparently they have a Volvo tech here too). No hassle Q&A and the work done was clearly explained with an itemized work order. My car is running great and safe, 5 stars all the way!
