Costco Gas Station in other cities:
Love the price of gas here. Just learned that I can pay with other cards for payment. You’ll just need to make sure to insert your Costco membership card or Costco visa rather than using the contactless payment. This will give you a prompt to either pay with your visa or some other form of payment. I don’t like that pump isn’t available 24/7. Everything seems to be automatic and don’t see the need to personnel present all the time.
Favorite gas station - great Costco prices and efficient. Maybe a wait during peak times but definitely worth the wait. Easier fill-up with a Costco credit card. There are 4-5 lanes and it is really convenient. Definitely recommend it. They are open until 9pm, 30 minutes after Costco closes.
Best value gas I can think of, but I had to ask the attendant why he doesnt bother to tip people WAITING that the front vehicle has driven away. I can tell most people WOULD scoot around the still-filling 2nd vehicle, but they HAVE NO IDEA the 1st vehicle is GONE. LONG LINES are always present and the attendant says, I dont force anybody to move... Just TELL THEM, PLEASE ! They dont even know ~
The prices are a good as it gets, but maybe not all the times of the year, especially the summer months. But they will be compatible with other gas stations. This is left up to the buyer to decide. It may not be dollar wise for all folks due to the annual membership, but you will save over the long run of the membership if you shop there often. Give it a try.
Often the cheapest gas in Austin, though not always. When I feel like giving my car a special treat beyond the lowest grade, here it almost is affordable to do so. Only downside, can be crowded to very crowded. Also, not open 24 hours. Good thing the hoses are very long, you can reach your gas tank from either side.
Costco prices requires a membership. They only offer 89 and 93 octane. Which is good as their prices reflect a much lower quality. Pumps do work both sides but if you do the wrong side you had better hold it in. Expect a long line if you have an American left side tank.
The most humane & dignified place to refuel. They keep the place absolutely spotless. So much better than gas stations at sleezy convenient stores. Impressed with filtration system and importance placed on delivering quality fuels. Just talk to the guys delivering the fuel to these stations... theyll be the first to tell you that no others do what Costco does to ensure the best quality at the best value. Not sure what the attendant does, other than maybe helping old ladies with their gas caps.
Prices are usually lower than anywhere else. All pumps are always in-service. Attendants are very attentive - always working hard. Lines at the pumps can get out of control, especially on the weekends. Generally wait is only about 5 minutes in the evening after work. Hoses are long enough to reach to the opposite side of the vehicle in most cases - but yall look ridiculous pulling up to the wrong side and dragging the hose over your car, just saying LOL.
The only time I buy fuel anywhere else is in desperation or buying whatever is cheapest nearby, for my mower. Its the *only* place Ill use a credit card for payment. They only accept plastic, but they constantly monitor the pumps, and they use security tape (like, actual security tape that will show obvious signs of tampering). If you are physically unable to fill your own tank, the monitor will assist. For those not familiar, you have to have a Costco membership to buy their fuel.
Wish I thought about this sooner but with the Social Living promotion going on for Costco membership, its worth your while to join. The gas prices are consistently 10 to 15 cents cheaper than surround gas stations in the Austin area. Just that alone will probably cancel out the cost you paid initially for dues. Buying other stuff in bulk is just a plus! What to get? Contact solution, rice, olive oil, dog/cat food, and the list goes on.
Its only open from 6:00 am until 9:00 pm. For as much as my household, as well as money others, spends on just the membership alone, it would be nice if they stayed open until midnight. Gas is just as cheap if you go to any Walmart and add money to a gift card for the sole purpose of using it for gas, Walmart pumps take $.03 off each gallon.

2022-08-20It’s Costco. Great company and cheap gas. My bone to pick with this location is how small it is. There was a huge queue to just get gas. I was shocked

2022-06-04The flow of traffic in this one is pretty bad. The one in cedar Park is set up much better. I dont like that theres no way to see when a pump is broken in advanced. And thats how this played out. The staff is too busy talking to one another to help people. The prices are always the best in the area which is why I continue to go there.

2022-06-30They used to have cheaper gas but now it is not so cheap compared to other gas stations. They dont have a wind shield cleaner at the pumps and always have to wait for 20-25 mins to fill up the tank.

2022-05-24Great for a gas station. Good prices that they dont seem to mark up without cause. You need a Costco membership to go though.

2022-06-04This gas station has great prices always and because of that there is always long lines. They should expand and make it a bit bigger. Also, add a gas station to the Costco in south Austin.

2022-04-09Good prices. Good luck in those lines. They have their share of rude clientele, and people cutting into an already long line isnt unusual. Be ready for an exercise in patience.

2022-07-11The gas station is cheap and efficient but I have to give 1 star because of the clientele*.*Includes disgusting people that honk at people that are not wearing ear protection.

2021-12-28Gas prices are usually a good price compared to regular store sites. Always clean for self service. (Station attendant on site to aid those with disabilities). Its kind of a shame that we cant access the pumps 24/7.
