Well if you like wearing a mask and being told what to do by a snarky employee, this is your place. If you prefer freedom and being treated like a valuable customer take your business to Armadillo Antiques or any other antique mall in San Antonio. We live in Texas and shouldn’t be told when and where to wear a mask. 98% of the state is open and this tiny antique store requires a mask. Ridiculous
My wife and I have been trying to support the vendors and the venue here during the last year, but a new arbitrary mask mandate in the store and a snarky staff member trying to make us think we are the loony ones for not being concerned about masks. The Armadillo Antiques mall on Blanco is nearby, has nicer goods and prices, and allows customers to use their common sense for medical decisions. We will be supporting them from now on.
If you love handmade items, vintage items, and just awesome unique items this should be the first place you go. This is possibly one of the coolest places Ive been to in a long time! It is really awesome, with a wide variety of vendors selling tons of different items - plus the restaurant in the back is absolutely delicious! And they have great tea there as well.
What a great selection of crafts and antiques. They also have the most wonderful Tea Room in the back. The day I was there they had a gentleman playing folk music on guitar. I even took home some loose leaf tea for my house. And it is wonderful. A nice selection of teas and sandwiches and desserts.
This is definitely my favorite location, and my favorite place in the world! This place sells handmade, vintage, and scavenged goodies. There’s always something new to see or explore every time I come here, and the tea shop inside is too cute to pass up. Follow their Facebook page, they post a lot of their events on there and they’re really good! 🌸 trust me, you won’t regret coming here.
This place has one of the widest varieties of vendor malls in the city. Prices are reasonable, so I disagree with the post that they arent... check out is a little slow, but not outrageous. Its open, clean, well-stocked, friendly, and interesting to shop. Tea garden is nice too!Update and downgrade: from 5 to 1 star. Why: very few items are actually antiques. While there is a wide variety of stuff, most of it is really just junk. You can still find a deal here, but pretty rare. Not great for a shopping experience. After my last review, I became a vendor. Lots of missing items, always finding dead bugs in my booth (right next to the tea shop-yuck), toms of tags missing, and finding tags from other vendors in my booth (lots of tag swapping by shoppers to steal expensive items at lower prices), and very bad customer service for vendors (were customers too). Just terrible for vendors, overall.
Incredible mall, an antique maniac’s dream! There is such a wide variety of items there, some things you’d never even expect. The staff there is very friendly, attentive and surprisingly knowledgeable. It’s quite clear that the staff that work there are working there for reasons deeper than just to make a quick buck, at least the staff that I dealt with. There is a tea lounge inside the mall that also took me by surprise. They have large collection of loose leaf teas that will satisfy even the most avid tea lovers and the food there is great too. Please visit this place, I highly recommend it!
Awesome little hidden Gem in Castle Hills, I absolutely love this place unfortunately I didnt have very much time to stay as my uncle was not feeling well, I will definitely be back and I am particularly interested in speaking with the vendors and dealers as I have merchandise they may be interested in, I cant wait to learn more about that. Go here theres something for everybody and its just a super cool store.
I come here every other weekend with my kids and we never leave empty handed. This could mean that I have a purchasing problem... But Id like to think it means that I always find good stuff, like comics, boots, old posters, dishware... Its great. My kids always find stuff they like as well, for example, there is a booth that has thousands of stickers in bins that my daughter raids every visit and walks away with three happily. Its a great place for gifts and decorating.
This is a well maintained, crafty/collectibles. Clean, organized, friendly customer service, with thousands of antiques. On some weekends there is live music/entertainment in their Tea Garden that offers hot & cold beverages and pastries. Highly recommend a visit. Very tranquil.
Amazing antique mall. Very well organized, lots of great sales, interesting booths. Found lots of great stuff. Edit: went back 3 months later and I wanted to add that the front desk staff is totally inattentive and will hold off on helping you as long as humanly possible. I was at the counter for about 5 minutes waiting to purchase my items before I left without purchasing anything.
The eclectic mix of objects for sale by different people always makes Craftiques an interesting place to browse and shop around. Ive found a few white unique gifts for friends and family. The tea shop in the back is a wonderful area to sit and meet up with friends or relax by yourself with a good book and enjoy their tasty sandwiches and large selection of teas. The staff is great and always willing to help.
This is a unique store a lot to see and its small but wont stop you from finding your treasure. They have signs all over to let you know what booths are on sale. So that in itself is very helpful. Go check out this store. You never know you might find what your looking for .
I love this place. Beautiful and one-of-a-kind gifts for reasonable prices but I am a regular when it comes to purchasing Gina Secret Youth products. All natural and pH balanced products so your body doesnt rely on chemicals for results and all, still, for reasonable prices. Ginas products and services are all thats keeping me from aging at this point because life doesnt let up once it begins lol. #Ginasecretyouthforever
Manager is unprofessional, some staff tend to be unfriendly. Do not go out of their way for the customer. Workers are merely working their required days. I have observed the manager shopping as well as staff during their work days more than once. My advice? Treat your customers with respect and dignity, because last time I checked, we are the reason you are a functioning business. Dont be condescending or patronizing, no matter if you disagree or not, because that is very rude. I wont be back anytime soon and some other folks who feel the same way I do, wont either.
My daughter just purchased a home here in the Lockhill Selma area and I thought I would take a break from helping with the move and Craftiques was recommended by a friend. My daughter is interested in vintage jewelry which is the reason for the visit, so as I was viewing the jewelry the three ladies behind the counter did not bother to acknowledge me or even inquire if I wanted to view any of the jewelry in the glass case. So I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt that they didnt see me. So I walked around the counter in front of them and stood there as they continued to talk about one of their stupid front door needing repair. First of all Im retired and hispanic and have plenty of time and money on my hands to shop and purchase items for my busy children but I guess I didnt look the part to the other hispanic lady behind the counter. I recommend to anyone to spend your money elsewhere because these ladies are rude and obviously dont want to make a sale.
Myself and the women in my family have frequented Craftique over the years, and have enjoyed our visits on our ladies days out. But after my most recent experience i will not be returning to do business with Craftique again. The experience I had in regards to customer service was far beyond extremely poor. General business sense and practices are absent here. Customers are treated indifferently. Vendors should also be aware before renting space in this mall, this potentially could harm their sales in a huge way. As a seasoned business professional, i was literally in utter disbelief on what occurred during my transaction. The general taste for Craftiques business etiquette has left a very sour taste in my mouth, as well my story has left quite an impression the family members who were also in such disbelief they voiced their disapproval and on their own accord advised they would not be giving Craftique their business any longer. There are other craft malls in the san antonio area.. i suggest you visit a place where your business is appreciated.

2018-09-16I love this place. Its full of awesome antique or hand-made: gifts, furniture, jewelry, collectibles, and knick knacks. The themed booths are really well done and theres tons of gift options to buy. Theres even a fresh tea bar in the back with a cute little seating area. They had a fantastic selection of unique teas blends, as well as fresh sandwiches, snacks, and pastries. Im really looking forward to my next visit!

2022-02-27What a great way to spend a weekend shopping for antiques, jewelery, clothes, crafts, rare items, and furniture. If you get thirsty and hungry, swing by the green tea lounge for a nice sweet tea and a scone.
