Well, its a beautiful place, I will say that. Its nestled in a little town on a sleepy little street but thats the beauty of it, isnt it? The hostess and server were nice, everyone else was looking at me funny... hmmm. The food, well maybe as a Texan, I shouldve known better than to order a BBQ plate at a non BBQ place. I think the chicken fried steak wouldve been a good choice. The Brisket was bland and rubbery despite a beautiful smoke ring. The sausage... lets just move on shall we?...Its a nice little place and its probably busy Saturday nights.

I think I found a new local favorite. The chicken fried steak was awesome. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.UPDATE: I have been back many times since my initial review and the experience has been consistent. The wait staff and the food have been awesome. I have tried many different dishes and everything is good.

Came here during a spur of the moment trip to visit my wifes dad who was passing through. Boy am I glad we found this place, the waitress was one of the sweetest Ive ever met. The food was great! Father in law and I both had steaks and my wife had the pot roast. All of it was amazing! Polished dinner with some pie and left very full and very happy. Will definitely stop here again when were in the area.

Its gone downhill, got the mushroom Swiss burger and it was spitful awful. My wife had the Buffalo Chicken and it was over fried. If yall need help, seek better cooks and pay them well.

Stand alone restaurant in old downtown area. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Menu selection was ample. Service was prompt. Food was hot or miss. Mostly miss. Chicken fried steak was very good. BBQ plate was fine. The squash casserole was almost all breading, Cabbage had little too no seasoning. Mac and cheese was very dry. Fried green tomatoes was very good. Tortilla chicken soup was really chicken soup with tortilla strips on top. Very bland. Loaded baked potato soup was very good. So overall it is very hit or miss. It is boarder line if I can recommend.

I am SO disappointed! 😔 I really wanted to like Crows Country Cafe. We went there a couple of years ago and wasnt impressed. The service SUCKED, the food was okay, and the prices were a bit high. We decided to give it another chance today. Placed an order to go. 2 burgers with fries, a kids grilled cheese with fries ($7.49; no drink), meatloaf with a loaded baked potato, 2 peach cobblers and a slice of buttermilk pie. $63. The desserts were $4.49 a piece. I should have taken a picture of my slice of pie. It literally measured in at 2 1/8 inches at the crust (widest part). Tiny! And not very good. The burgers were good (according to the consumers). The fries were okay. The meatloaf was awful. The meat itself was flavorless except for the burnt edges. And the sauce on top tasted (and looked) like they just poured a can of crushed tomatoes on top. The peaches were the only good thing in the cobbler. Neither of them were finished. I just hate that I spent so much money on such unappetizing food. I know the saying is 10 out of 10 dont recommend, but there is only 5 of us, so 5 out of 5 dont recommend.

I have been coming here off and on since 2010. This place has severely gone downhill. Was in town since I used to live here, so I ordered myself and my mom some food from crows to go. I ordered the ribeye steak cooked medium rare for $17.99, along with a few sides. When we got our order home, I opened the container with the steak. Talk about a disappointment. First off, the steak was severely over cooked and wasn’t even close to medium rare. The steak was only a quarter inch thick and loaded with fat. The steak was not even edible for human consumption so I fed it to my dog. I’m glad she liked it. This place doesn’t care about the customer anymore, so you as customer should not give them your business anymore just like me. I will never waste my money at this place again.

First time to try it. Service was nice and fast. Food came out hot. I hope it stays this way. Kids didn’t like the Mac-n-cheese but it’s kids. I did ask the waitress fish or chicken fried steak. She said she doesn’t eat fish. That’s your chance to up sale a customer as a waiter/waitress. Oh well the CFS was good. My wife had the catfish it was good also. We will give it another try.

Pot Roast and beef stew will leave you very satisfied. They have a little of everything but these two are my favorites. Taste great, plentiful portions, reasonably priced and great service. What else do you need?Oh yeah, how about a big ole glass of iced tea or a long neck?Gott em!
