CSL Plasma in other cities:
This place is sooooo SLOW. You will wait endlessly as you watch the apathetic staff shuffle around slowly and with no sense of urgency. Today i am standing in the screening queue with more than a dozen in front of me . when i first entered the line there were 14 . that was a half hour ago.Its always like this here now. Which is unfortunate , because the thing i used to appreciate about this place was its efficiency. I understand things seem to overwhelm quite a few understaffed businesses lately, but youll notice that almost everywhere else the staffs response is to pick up the pace and take all necessary measures to rectify their situation. Remember how i mentioned how long this line is, and how long of a wait it is ? They just closed a screening station, while they are obviously well aware of their back log in the lobby since its hard to ignore 25 people standing in a stationery line, but somehow they just did.
Staff is nice. Fast and easy donation. Very busy center. Wait time is as expected for as busy as this location is.Also, to the person who commented a few below me about people skipping the questionnaire and still being seen....they arent skipping it or doing it in the arms/vitals booth, theyre doing it from their phone in the app 🙄
A lady named MEME set me up. Very nice and respectful. However they ask for Mail from resident that matches the License/ I.D.I handed her my two envelopes/mailThen 1 of my mail came up missing. And also they wrote down my social security #. ( Im thinking my identity can be stolen) cause I never got 1 of my envelopes back. Unorganized on a Saturday!!! Worse day to go. NURSE was late. I waited 3 - 4 hrs... then finally they took my blood pressure and my PULSE WAS too low. Therefore I wasted 4 hrs and did not.donate. ( Low Pulse) Freezing like 60 degrees inside . Praying that a NURSE be there at all times. So.none of you have to.waste alot.of time like I did..remember hold on to your paperwork.. it can easily be misplaced
This place is awful short staffed cannot make appointments online and not welcoming to new donors. There is no receptionist and no direction. The line I got in at 6:10am is also the line directly in front of the new donor sign. So my guess was all these people are new in front of me I had no idea. Nope. New donors have to check in at the front but they dont tell you that. Needless to say at almost 7 am I figured out I had to check in first. No one cares your time is wasted . I couldnt donate today because I would have been late for work. Then to make matters worse the whole lobby was laughing at me because the line and the sign were in the same place. This place should be shut down since it cannot be ran correctly
The lines in this place are absolutely ridiculous. Do not come here when you have things to do as you will not be in and out at all. Each visit plan at least 2 to 3 hours. They are super friendly and fast your first to visits even let you skip the line, but after that its like your value decreased.Theres no sense of urgency among the workers although some of them are friendly. Was excited when I first came and was going to refer friends but now going to finish my 8 visits and find a different place to donate. Very disappointed with the service here.
Im not going to lie I really only come here when Im broke. But when I do come the staff is nice and polite. From the front desk, to the screener, the nurses and the phlebotomist. I love that they multitask. Where they may crack a joke here and there , they stay professional and adamant about getting you in and getting you out. They know you have a life too
Was obvious that the lady at the desk didnt want to deal with a new donor this morning (started with asking if they were taking new donors). Apparently a new donor takes alot of time and effort for the employees . After not being able to disqualify me on other conditions (address, age..ect)She checked my veins and told me that mine were too small.I have always been told by phlebotomist that my veins were large and easy to deal with.Just got off the phone with my Dr, and he laughed when I told him what they said. He told me, that it sounded like they just didnt want the hassle.
Was a waste of time they advertise they want new donors but we went and waited 20-30 mins in line never talked to anybody who worked there just to be next in line finally to be told they aren’t taking new donors then why are you advertising you need donors if you turn them away total waste of time and will not be going back to donate in the future do not go we tried it and it was just a waste of time to be told rudely that they aren’t taking new donors why advertise and recruit for new donors if u just turn them away
I have been going to this plasma center since June of 2016. I have never, and I mean never had a problem of the centers accord. I have always had a wonderful experience donating. The staff are really nice and very professional. Cant really ask for more than that. Lots of people complain about the talking and socializing, but it shows the other side of the staff and makes you say hey, theyre just like one of us! One of my visits I notified one of the staff members (Diego) that I had lost an important item. He was genuinely concerned and notified others on shift that day of my missing property. Also Martha, who was working the desk on this day came to the back while I was on the table and got a description of the lost item. Even though they did not find the item ( because I had actually left it in the car and didnt realize it until I got home💩), I still would like to very much thank Diego, Martha and the other staff for being concerned and making an effort. You guys are the best!!!
I wish that they would pay you just a little bit more because they dont really give that much I mean you get like $30 and then you get $40 the second time and then they have bonuses but honestly they should pay more but the overall experience with them has been pretty good, I think there was one bad experience with one male doctor who will absolutely refuse just about anyone but I dont think that hes with them anymore. I wish at their office would carry chairs because there has been long wait times and I believe that most places do have chairs except for CSL. I like that this place is open late and most of their staff requires a 2-week minimum training session in phlebotomy, a lot of the girls are really really really good but then you always get those few bad apples that love to blow your veins and then you cant go back for a few months.
This is the worst Plasma donation facility in the State of Texas… They completely ignore customers, the wait time is always longer than advertised and if you get upset at any moment they will defer you permanently … WARNING IF YOU HAVE WARRANTS DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION THEY WILL CALL FORT WORTH POLICE DEPARTMENT…. Giving donations could get you probation!!!Tracy the receptionist & her manager Jenyfer at the front desk were unprofessional in everyway possible … Also the tall Hispanic guy with eyelashes whom I believe is aslo a manager definitely will act like what he is trying to identify as … with that being said happy donating I will be returning to the octapharma or Grifols … I will not donate at another CSL location ever in this lifetime !! Thanks Again Stay Blessed DFW
Worst waiting times... When i first made this it was due to los staff... Right now they hired ppl no one is here no line in the front maybe two or three ppl in the back and yet im sitting here in My chair waiting to get stuck while 3 employees are watching one do all the work talking and not really doin much...ive been coming here for years the new staff needs to cut the convos and attend the ppl more!
Theyre typically good but theyre playing with the same problems that Walmart Target and any other food distributee has they could have 30 people in line but theyll have maybe one or two people working on them they wanted to bring people back but now they choose to be understaffed
Y’all be careful they cheated me out some points back in March on my 7th donations, you donate up to 12 times and you earn over 1,000 something points. I called Corporate and everything still haven’t gotten my points. CSL supposed to call me back about my points that hasn’t happened either. The lady at CSL seen it herself that I haven’t gotten all my points. For the future don’t say one thing and don’t do it‼️‼️
Id like to start by saying I have never done this before, but I have dealt with similar places that cater to folks who need. Donating plasma is an easy way to make money, and for some folks, its the only way. That puts pressure on a facility, and on a staff. I went in at 6am, and by 9 I was out. Everyone I spoke to was nice and in good humor, and they were good sports about my being so clueless. In the end, I couldnt even donate; my veins kept rolling and they were busy. The techs were patient and understanding, tried a few times to make me comfortable, then finally advised me to try again in a few days. Even the other people there waiting were understanding, checking on me and asking how it went. I still got paid, despite not being able to help--and I will definitely be trying again. Thanks to everyone who made an exhausting process as easy as possible.
Staff seems pretty nice. Been 3 times already and all 3 times the person hooking me up did a good job with the needle. place is clean. First 4 times giving u get 60 and 75. After that it goes down to 30 and 45. Yes there are long lines but after the first visit it went fairly quick. You dont get rich donating but it pays enough for some gas or some groceries. Plus it helps saves a life. Win win if u ask me.
Do NOT go here! Rude inconsiderate and horrible service absolutely a waste of time and will not follow through with their own word!! I work during their opening schedule got off early to get here @5:30 as directed by them and when I do get told can not be seen 3 times.
Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. The longest I’ve ever waited was like 30 minutes. One time I almost passed out (not sure why, it never happened again) and the lady working nearby noticed right away that I was pale and sent a nurse over to make sure I was okay. I wouldn’t go anywhere else
Ive been donating plasma for years and Ive never been treated so well than I have today! My experience at this CSL location was great ( cant say the same for the other location) .. The employees were so kind and helpful... Especially Arturo! Thank you to all the employees .. I will definitely be back! Great location!
Great place the workers are friendly, cool and knowledgeable about the work they do. I have no complaints with anyone who works there. Once you go a few times the staff gets to know you and I like that. Went to another location a few times and I came back because of the staff-they are A1 in my opinion.
Why did you change your pay structure being a gold member the last two years something most of us dont like. I tried your new pay scale, and it not working for me.Being stuck on $30 the last two donations and the next one also. I have a 25 year history donating with CSL. With no bonus or not hitting the $45 pay , i may jump ship and become a new donor somewhere else. With no notice of the change in pay, do you really care about your donors?
Its all fun and games but being a new person to the facility can be confusing with employees yelling numbers to you like im supposed to know what to do or where to go. The staff is so busy that on my first visit i as well as two others were skipped and so when brought to their attention we were just placed at the end of the line Really! I will give a better rating once i have been there a little more time as for now 3 stars.
Wish I could give this place NO STARS for the fact that the receptionist walked up to my wife and 5month old and kicked them out because my baby cant be in here!? Like seriously?! Ive never been here before and theres no signs posted saying a newborn baby with mother cant enter the building! Never going back and will not ever recommend anyone to go!!! Smelled straight like marijuana anyway!! Tryingtoleavetheghettonotmovebackin
I’ve been donating plasma for over 4 years, by far Csl has been the best place. Mainly because of employees like Mudasar Akhtar, who has always had an uplifting and positive attitude, the one that makes you feel welcomed and the urge to come back. I just wish other employees did the same and explained overall health when it comes down to blood pressure, protein, etc...
Called the number to get information on what documents I needed. Was told that I would need my ID, proof of residents and Social security card or any document that shows my social.( Apparently your Birth Certificate isnt a document that shows your social #) Went in to donate today only be told by the reciptionist that they needed my W2??? I was not told this over the phone and wasted my time and gas. This place has a sign that says they guarantee great service they need to take that sign down.
First day was a really good experience, the 2nd time I came back the young lady said my BP was to high instructed me to wait 10 min to retest. I Informed her I had another appointment and couldnt wait and asked if it would be okay to come back later. She said yes thats fine well just reset everything... Later came and because of the wrong information giving by the lady in the morning. I wasnt able to return for the whole day. Had the correct information been giving in the morning, I wouldnt be frustrated with wasting my time and gas. Please teach everyone yalls policies. Especially when some ask a direct question.
They are super professional and very sociable to the donors that frequently donate there. Everytime Im there, Im in and out in under an hour. Its all about timing with them, you get there early enough, you have the rest of the day to enjoy yourself. Not to mention they pay really well, and they have a rewards program. Totally worth the trip. Five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 in my book.
Waiting to donate now. Came at 6am to avoid lines. It took 45 min to get 26 people checked in! They didnt even start sticking peoe until 630am. All the phlebotomists in the back wanna do is talk about the weekend parties..... very slow moving. Very unprofessional. Not worth the 32$ payout at all!! We should not be forces to stand around for an hour while they talk and move at sloth pace
The employees here are very professional, and always welling to help you in any way possible. The center always smell of bleach and cleanliness. And although they do get backed up management will come to the rescue and help out. So what I am saying is it feels like family here, no one to worry about its clean and has a friendly atmosphere. So come out and donate lets save some lives together.
Looks very clean, big center, wish they had let me donate. Im here visiting a friend in ft worth and because I normally donate at csl in Waco, they wouldnt allow me to do it here, even though I told them Im here visiting a friend they still wouldnt let me. Thats my only complaint. I was told before I did any traveling, that as long as Im in the system, they would take me at all the locations. Yoi!
It has been over 10 years since Ive donated plasma and it was at a location in another state. With that said, this site is very clean, professional, everyone was friendly, and they explained everything thoroughly. It made the experience very comfortable and easy since its been awhile. The payment is automatically loaded to a debit card after each visit so there is no issue with getting paid.
My only concern is this...at the check in booth where they check our vitals. Yall wont let us touch the signature pen but yall let us touch the thermometer. That makes no sense to me. No one has sanitized the thermometer when I come in except one person when I mentioned it to him something to think about!Edit: changing my star rating to 1 star due to a copy and paste response from whoever replies to reviews.
IvI Been Going Here To Donate For The Last Month Now. Everyone Ive Encountered Has Been Friendly And Were Very Patient In Beginning Process. On My First Time Donating I Got There About 20 Minutes Before Closing And Everyone I Encountered At Every Step Were Super Nice And Patient With Me. Including The Nurse Whom I Had And Was Already On His Way Out The Door And Had To Come Get Set Back Was Nice.... Nothing But AA Grea Experience Every Time Ive Come To Donate or Just Simply Ask A Question....I Highly Recommend This Facility!!!
Tisha Rodriguez is one of the best qualified employees that this company has to be grateful for. Her experience in what she does as a Senior Official Nurse/Phlebotomist is genuine, excellent, and very positive with her attitude and words. I will always remember Tisha Rodriguez, and not just for my plasma donation and its experience from that.
Everyone was very informative, respectable, and curtious. I don’t understand as to why there are so many negative comments. You have questions, they are happy to answer any time. You need help, feeling funny, they take it seriously. Very clean facility, I see rules consistently followed. Follow the rules and you won’t have issues. You want a skilled veteran for your initial poke to start, ask for a senior phlebotomist.I would say that staff is not very knowledgeable on the iRewards. More information about this would be great. Don’t know about a drawing. Have s bingo session for and extra $20, $60, or $100. Use markers and paper, so easy.Conversations between nursed or techs on floor are very laid back. They give you a sense of importance. At the end of the day; these young men and women are busting their skills to help each and every individual. I will return again and again and again. They communicate very well. Come in and see us donate❣️Don’t be scared! Save the money for Christmas. I look forward to saving more children, adults lives with my gift. Please don’t listen to the negative talk. I gave blood for years, now plasma time. Come join us, talk, laugh and purchase a squeeze ball and a pair of headphones. Sit back and chat with someone. Maybe you will see me there with a smile on my face.. many blessings to you all.
Stopped donating for nearly 1year. Returned as new patient still in system. Had to redo exam and lengthier than normal donation time, but overall not a bad experience, new staff very pleasant.Key info: new donors have lengthy exam and processing. U cant bring kids, no risky sexual behaviors, can’t have traveled out of country recently, can’t have have recent STDs, no drug usage, have to be well and healthy to donate your plasma. 1st to 4th donations very good pay plus you can google CSL for additional $6 coupon for 1st visit.
They deserve ZERO STARS absolutely the worst place I even thought about giving plasma to. I should have known from the phone call I made n how rude I was treated. The only blood center I’ve been to that has a security guard watching the place n he is also very rude. I’ve been to Biomat n Octapharma and I highly recommend you go to these places. They are extremely nice n take good care of you. I went to csl to get extra money because new donors get paid better but I wouldn’t ever donate there. Their machines are out dated n rude staff not to mention in a bad location. Save the trip and go to biomat or Octapharma with there many locations in the dfw area..
This Rodnisha Boyd... today was first donation here and the experience was Great...so polite n caring... the staffs was wonderful...Jesse was so nice and took good care me as well as the medical assistant nurse Crystal king is such a beautiful n caring individual... they treated me so well...I’ll continue going here always 💯👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Been to a few plasma donation centers and this one is certainly one of the cleaner ones Ive been to. The first time going always takes a little bit, due to the process. They got me in and out within 2 hours my first time. Everyone was very social and professional. A nice combo.
Run away from this place as fast as you can! I would give them 0 stars if it were possible. Find any other donation center if you decide to donate plasma. They are completely incompetent and unprofessional from the people at the front desk, to the nurses who do not know what they are doing at all and shouldnt be in the position they are in, to the manager of the center. I had a HORRIBLE experience with a nurse that she didnt want to listen to anything I said. A phlebotomist blew my vein, resulting in a large hematoma that was there for several days. She didnt even apologize and left the needle infiltrating in my arm while she got advice from another phlebotomist. The only reason this could have happened was that she is inept because I have big veins and this has never happened before.I wont go into more details because their incompetence and unprofessionalism is unbelievable to me, but they lied to me more than once from more than one person, completely wasted my time several times, and were so rude and did not even want to listen to anything I said. I have a masters degree in nursing as a nurse practitioner and I donated plasma not so much for the money, but for the life-saving medications and therapies it provides. Due to their unacceptable treatment of me I will NEVER donate at CSL anymore. They lost a donor for life and it is their loss for their incompetence, unprofessionalism, and ignorance. They should start all over with staff that has skills and actually cares about and treats the donors as human beings.
GREAT STAFF GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOUT OUT TO JESSE THE LEAD VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE PLASMA BUSINESS KUDOS TO YOU MY MAN OTHERS WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WAIT TIME I DARE YOU GO CHECK OUT THE OTHER PLACES AND YOU WILL COME RUNNING BACK CSL IS THE FASTEST CLEANEST AND MOST PROFESSIONAL STAFF OF ALL THE PLASMA CENTERS!!!!
THE ONLY place I will go to donate plasma. Sometimes the lines are long--true. But that is with every plasma center. I like the staff here. They try to keep it upbeat. Theyve never not paid me for my donation and the bonuses are generally exceptional. If youre donating plasma already, come here!
Waited in line for a hour and a half when i made it to the donation chair wait again 15 mins. Then they go to stick me with the needle and go to deep into my arm and blow out my vain. Now at this point my arm is swollen and in pain they ask to stick my other arm i say hell no and walked out to the front to see if i would still get paid for my time. Very rudely the women replys that im only getting 5 dollars. Find a new location not csl they dont care about there doners all i got from them is a swollen arm 5 dollars and a hope that i can go to work in the morning.
Only a handful of employees are professional, the rest act in a immature manor only looking for dates. The worst part is how they openly belittle people who donate plasma. The only time its worth going is the first 6 times. $70 the first time & $65 the other 5. After the first 6 times the pay goes to $25 & $45. I will look for another donation center; one more cleaner, friendlier, & professional.
The staff working here will regularly stop in the middle of putting a needle in your vein to have a conversation about their weekends. The least an organization could do when dealing with your personal health and making a killing off of your very life force is to hire a few professionals who can take care of you. Also, why is it that my GF donates the same size bottle but receives half of what I do due to weight? CSL shows a great video at the start to tell you all of the great and wonderful things they do with your plasma but it still just feels like someone is likely making a huge profit off of your viscera and tossing you a few coins for your trouble. If you are in a place where you unfortunately MUST donate to get by, Id find another donation center.
Ive never been a huge fan of giving plasma but life took a turn and i had to do what i had to do. This particular plasma center made me feel like family they dont belittle you for coming. They are a great team. If youre looking for a location i would recommend this one!!
When you donate plasma here they give you a card that has a $1.50 fee to pull money off of a non-member ATM. They charge you a $0.35 fee to use your card like a debit card where you do a transaction and enter your pin number. They charge you a $0.25 fee to use your card like a credit card where you sign your name for the transaction. Also there is no way to transfer money from the card to your actual bank online.Long story short? The money they give you isnt really your money and there will be a fee to access this money no matter what way you try to use your card. I suggest Grifols instead that does let you transfer money from the prepaid card they give you to your bank account.
They are good in a pinch but Ive been going there for over a year and they have changed dramatically for the worse. They always schedule me to where they only have to pay me the minimum amount and when asked why they gave a calous answer thats not our problem theres nothing we can do about that
The worker punctured my vein its been over 3 weeks and i am still black and blue numbness in my hand elbow is sore to touch and cant hold my arm up to do anything for longer than a couple of minutes i gave one star because the remainder of the staff is awesome but im never going back
They are very slow you end up spending 5-8hrs waiting to donate and a minimum of an hr donating the payout is horrible and they are not friendly to you as a patient seeing as your plasma pays for there paychecks they need to get better staff management and better payscale for the time you waste there waiting they also need to train the staff how to start the ivs better most dont know what they are doing and will blow easy sticks that cause you to not be able to donate for weeks after that.
I got banned for my behavior I never raise my voice or anything the woman was all ready mad and very rude to customers she took it out on me because I had to take a phone call about my son this place is horrible go anywhere but here they will damage your arm then banned you because your trying to complain

2022-06-16Jesse Martinez has made every one of my experiences at CSL off south freeway so amazing! I’m new to donating plasma and it can be daunting and mistakes happen but he made me feel assured and comfortable entering, while I was there, and leaving! One of the best employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of being assisted by and I’ve been in hospitality and customer service myself for over 25 years! Thank you Jesse! Thank you CSL for hiring great people.

2022-03-17They are extremely slow. A lot of the workers do not really want to be at work and have attitudes while doing the work. At times they seem to be under staffed but that isnt the case. People should do there job and do it with a sense of urgency. One lady sat played like she was dusting the ceiling when there is literally a long line of people.Dont come here please. If you want People who have common sense and do there job this is not the place

2022-03-20Very unprofessional and rude after I stood there for 37 minutes before I was talked to by a staff member. They said you would have to have 2 good veins one on each arm which I have and they found without problem. Then they said since I have to many tattoos on one of my arms that I cant donate because one of there workers might not be able to see the vein because of all the ink on my arm.

2022-05-18Terrible place. Im always having to wait over 30 minutes in a chair for them to hook me up and even at that its after a whole hour and a half wait , its really disappointing honestly. I tell my friends and family not to come here at all since they cant do the job right , they always look at me when Im in a chair and go to someone else and hook them up first, sad to say I wont be coming here anymore even though I been going twice a week

2022-07-06Do not go donate at the CSL plasma center @ 4200 south Freeway because you might get beat up by the employees like my son did today Monday 07/05/2022 How does a customer get finish donating and walk outside and get beat up by two of the employees and there family members..that is horrible they could have killed my son and they were aloud to continue working after fighting with a customer they should have been fired.. I called and asked to speak to the manager so I could file a complaint against those employees and I was put on hold for more than and hour..I will be speaking to a attorney first thing in the morning about this!

2022-07-09Jesse is super cool and laid back and professional! Kisha went too far on needle stick but imma forgiver!!! Melissa still works there, ask for her. Shes really good!Update: 11/27, This is my 4th visit back and make sure you ask for Tammy as well. She will take care of you. Tammy will get you started and you will not feel a thing when it comes to the needle stick. Thank you Tammy, I hope CSL sees the gem that they have in youUpdate #2 7/09,The place has changed a lot since my last review. All the reviews about the long wait times to donate are spot on. Often times the longest time waiting is spent either waiting in line to be called back to a bay for a bed or waiting in the bed. If you end up showing up between 10:30 and 12 beware of the shift change stall and the instant fear of your person about to unhook or hook you up then being selected to go to lunch and then bounce. Multiple times have I made it to a bed to donate and leave from waiting on it in excess of 30 to 45 minutes, after waiting in line for 45 minutes. Worlds slowest plasma place.

2022-01-31This is far probably the worst plasma center that I ever been too, went there recently on a Wednesday or Thursday, couldnt donate as a new donor because I didnt passed the pulse part. So I come back Saturday, I answer the questions on the kiosk machine, then use the restroom afterwards, return to the front counter to ask them has they called my name just so they can tell me that they gone have cancel my visit from this so called manager name Tony. Because I didnt successful donated the other day 🙄🤔 and I didnt get my physical done witch is the nurse responsibility and job to do. I highly recommend no one to donate at this location.....they will unreasonable will give you a hard time for sake of it......very very unprofessional and plus Ive never gotten my documentation back ( proof of address). 👎🏿

2022-02-21Since there’s no way to talk directly with the corporate office. This facility has been ineffective in keeping and gaining a work force/employment. They’ve been inconsistent with their hours for months and not utilizing their app for communication with donors to ensure they are not wasting their time showing up. It takes 2-4 hours just to donate plasma and the Management isn’t utilizing the days of low staff to run a job fair for donors showing up to donate to ask them for their help in staffing a source of income for all involved. You’ve lost a donor and a potential employee.Furthermore where is the official website and link to your organization. Why can’t we who support your business have no say in how you run it when you make millions if not thousands off of our plasma. Then give us small percentages? Why is your business not operating at maximum capacity?

2022-02-19I was just there being first time donor, at 7 when they open. Ask at the desk about what do we do being our first time. Was told to come back at 8. Came back at 8 and was told 8:30 bc the nurse not there, but the lady who told me 8 wanted to get a attitude bc I said you told me 8. If the nurse was not there at 7 then say so and we would have to wait for her. Im not wasting my Saturday waiting on a nurse to show up when you dont know when she coming.
