Man, Im so mad lived near this place for over a year and just tried this food within the last month. Items are really flavorful.
Its a good place to go and get different types of food that would like to eat. There is different types of fish and shrimps and chicken and some good crawfish the way you would like it cook. And they cook it how you want it with Cajun hot and Mild and hot and spicy with lemon and garlic the way that you would like it done. And they have calling in oders and take out oders as well and you can sit end eat your food their at the place and they have drinks as well. If they dont have what you wanted to drink its a shell gas station across the street from it by the light on Blue Ridge and West Fauqua St.
I absolutely love this place, food is great, prices r great, service is great.. Its a must try, especially their shrimp boil in garlic butter sauce, medium spicy..
Wasnt too bad but Im glad I ordered 1 pound of crawfish.. it was too sweet.

Drove 15min to get Dannys I watched them give my oder to another customer after I told them it was my order when the customer returned the order they tried to give me the food they just touched all over then had an attitude when I told him to remake the food
Mom & Pop kind of restaurant. Loved it already! Will definitely try again. It was worth the drive. Took me about 45mins to get there. Crawfish was ready for pickup as Ive called ahead. Quick out! Facility pretty clean and spacious!
The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The only issue was that my daughters tilapia plate had 3 long hairs underneath the tilapia. My daughter instantly became grossed out and didn’t finish eating. I told her I’d call and make a complaint but she refused said not to that it was fine. But aside from the price I paid my daughter didn’t get to fully enjoy her lunch 😕

The crawfish was very disappointing. I usually go to a place nearby but they were closed this particular day so I decided to come here.We ordered 6 pounds with sausage, corn and potatoes. The sausage was not good at all. They would not refund us for it, they only offered to substitute it for corn, potato or boiled egg. That option didn’t work for us because we already had enough of that. They gave us a drink instead. I guess that was better than nothing.I had the garlic butter & ragin Cajun mix. It had a sweet taste and lacked any Cajun flavor whatsoever. I was disappointed. It wasn’t the worst I ever had but I didn’t really care for their crawfish at all. I doubt I would ever go back.
Sent 6 pounds of crawfish back three times!!! They have so much sugar in their seasoning the crawfish were way to sweet!!! Supposedly changed the seasoning to Cajun but all they did was add it on top of the sweet already. Also wanted the corn and potatoes and sausage I ordered but he didn’t ring me up for it so just to go without. It was my first time trying and I definitely won’t be getting crawfish here again ! I don’t mind spending on food but this was not worth the money I spent! If you like sugared up crawfish be my guest but that was not good!!!!!

Delicious Seafood including Snowcrab legs, boiled spicy crawfish and shrimp! My son and I frequently grab takeout here! And the owner Danny is very friendly and his children have excellent customer service! Great family restaurant!
The batter didnt stick to my fried shrimp but the fried was okay. Nothing to be excited about. I still need to try more of their menu but that unfried shrimp just lost me.
My husband and I love this place! Their food is always delicious. They are not over priced like some other places. We moved from the area, but my husband and I will make the drive over there for delicious and tasty seafood, yes, thats how delicious it is! I dont know what spices they use but its different than other places, making their food way better. My husband loves their wings too. The workers are so nice and attentive as well. No complains.
Highly recommended. Food is awesome, there are a wide variety of drinks. Prices are very affordable and reasonable. Tri is always helpful when we have questions or concerns about our orders. This is truly one of the best restaurants in town

We enjoy hanging out. Last night we arrived in this fine place which friends told us about. We enjoyed a delightful experience there with first-rate food and a nice team and a professional chef. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we will certainly come back very soon. We warmly recommend.

I am very upset and will never eat here again. I have been coming here for 2 years and never had any problems until the other day when I ordered my usual 2 pounds of shrimp garlic butter spicy, while I was eating my shrimp I saw something in the bag so I got it out with a spoon and it was a dead roach. I threw the rest of the shrimp away and almost threw up. I will never go there again, Im mad I wasted my money and couldnt finish all my shrimp. That was so nasty.
I ordered food a pound of crawfish and a shrimp dinner. I was on my lunch break. While I was waiting on my food got an emergency call about my patient had slipped and fell. When I return for my food of course it was cold. I try to explain to the owner Danny about my situation. He waved me off being very rude. Being a first responder and a customer since it opened I was very disappointed how I was treated. I will never return here again. So please dont attend here if your a first responder and get call cause this guy obviously doesnt have respect. And will serve u cold food.
Restaurant was very clean. Staff was very nice and polite. I ordered 3lbs of crawfish Ragin Cajun, lemon pepper and garlic pepper, Spicy! They were all seasoned very well Lemon pepper was the best. It was not the best crawfish but it hit the spot for the moment and I would eat them again. I also ordered popcorn shrimp it was not very good they were gritty but the fries were very tasty.

The boiled shrimp bags are sooooo good. They taste fresh and the shrimp are really big. 5.99 a lb and one is good enough its but I get two because Im a professional. Youve the option to get Cajun, Lemon Pepper or... Garlic butter? I think? I dont know but it doesnt matter because just tell them to mix ALL THE SAUCES. All tree of em in the same bag. Just trust me ok. Get the spice level at least higher then 3, theyll ask you on scale of 1-10 and dont forget to ask for gloves cause youre going to need them. Enjoy and youre welcome.
Ive been living in this area for almost 2 years and first time going to this place. I wished I had come earlier. Their food is amazing, y who family loved the food. Will definitely come here again. Great job.
This place has the BEST Crawfish that has graced my tastebuds!! The taste is sort of difficult to explain, it has that hint of sweetness yet very cajun garlicy... The location however is slightly...rough but the food is just so worth it! I have only tried the crawfish and shrimp but as bomb as that was I am totally interested in exploring the remainder of the menu. Go ahead and make that hike across town if you need to because this place will NOT disappoint!
The customer service and food was impeccable. Dannys was highly recommended. I tried their Catfish, shrimp oysters and shrimp fried rice. Everything was very good. I will be going back; and also recommend Dannys too!
My favorite place in South Houston
Went in a year ago around the time maybe when just opening. Owner Danny was kind as of today he is still so very kind always manage to come out to say hello and hold a conversation. And the food is awesome, I have suggested to over 10 or more friends and family to try out Dannys and they all are pleased with the food and services they have received.
Food is decent, but like any Asian owned fast food restaurant in a predominantly black neighborhood the service is subpar. The owners daughters/cashiers are rude and pushy, food is a bit overpriced.
This is a hidden gem. Dannys does crawfish better than any other restaurant in Houston. They have three flavors, each of which is good. The crawfish is a good size and comes reasonably priced by the pound and tastes fresh (tip: let it rest for a few minutes before digging in). I havent had the pleasure of trying other items on the menu or eating at the location but the crawfish is always good for takeout. Yummy! PS staff there is always nice and accommodating, more folks from the community should drive out to visit them, I highly recommend them for tasty crawfish outside of NOLA.

This place gets crawfish earlier than most places. Their garlic shrimp is amazing. Same with the popcorn shrimp. Got 3 pounds of the cajun style crawfish. Broke a sweat, served in a massive pan. Their fried rice is also delicious. Definitely going back in March.

I was very skeptical first when going into ordering but I was very pleasing again I have not had good seafood like this any long time I would definitely recommend this place The food was absolutely delicious I ordered mild snow crabs garlic butter flavor with corn and potatoes and mild shrimps oh my god absolutely delicious., I cant wait to go back and enjoy another helping of shrimps its worth the drive which is 20- 30 mins away...

I passed this place up so many times asking myself if this place was any good? I have finally stopped and tried them out. First of all let me tell you who I am. I am the owner of Madmax BBQ and I love to try new restaurants. So as I said I stopped and orderd a 3 piece fish with hushpuppies. When I took my first bite I said wow this place is so good. they should have a line out the door. I dont know if I spoke with the owner but the staff was very friendly. I could smell when they were cooking my food and it smelled so good. I have found my seafood spot! I can not wait to try the shrimp. With that being said do not pass this place up.Madmax

2022-04-09Dannys Crawfish & Seafood, is a small spot that had a few tables where you can sit and eat. Parking is adequate and its easy to find. You order your food at the desk and you just wait for it to be served to you. The drinks are bottled or canned drinks. They dont have any type of mixed drinks, tap water or anything like that. The location was pretty empty at lunch time, but many people came in to pick up food. It seems common for people to go and pick up orders as opposed to dining in.I went with my dad and brother and I had the garlic butter crawfish, medium spice with two corns. My dad had the oyster basket, and my brother had the fish basket. The food is very well seasoned I loved the crawfish, it was delicious it had the right amount of spice, it had a little bit of sweetness in there, making it a spicy sweet taste. My Dad loved his oyster basket he said the fries were well seasoned and he really liked it. My brother didnt really care for the catfish he thought that it wasnt bad, it just wasnt for him.Overall, this is a really good place to go and get some tasty food.

2022-05-28I had the boiled crawfish here (I ordered one of the spicier numbers, I think 4 out of 5 spicy), and holy smokes, was it good!! I would 100% eat here again next time Im in town!

2022-06-04Very good, I tried Cajun and garlic bitter mixed with spice level of spicy. It was very spicy, I would try medium next time. Crab is sweet, and the shrimp are big and tasty. Also, someone is selling cake in the front and the lemon poundcake is so delicious.

2022-04-24I had the booled crawfish and the were actually on the bigger side for what Ive seen this year. The garlic butter (extra spicy) was exactly what I wanted. The lemon pepper was also good. I got them spicy and they were sweeter than I expected but still very good. My husband had the catfished and was pleased it wasnt fried too hard. We have been in the neighborhood two years and finally tried this place. Im kind of angry it took us so long! Were definitely going back.

2022-05-16I have only had oxtail and rice and peas here, but the taste is always consistent. They are not stingy with the oxtail gravy. It’s a Jamaican experience. I will be back.

2022-07-03Size is good price per pound is good but crawfish not all that. Reading the reviews to place made me want to try them. Im really not accustom to sweet crawfish! Something in their seasoning is sweet. Garlic butter and ragin Cajun dont equal sweet so I was disappointed. Spent 50 bucks and was not impressed
