This was a great hotel to stay at unexpected for 2 nights. It is an older hotel but the outside has been kept up nicely and the rooms were clean and comfy. The staff were all friendly. Housekeeping was great. We will make this our place to stay when we visit San Antonio.
Well... The people that work here are nice. I suspect they are struggling. Whether due to covid-19, or the absolute terrible access due to road construction right next to their site, Im not sure. No frills hotel. The rooms are tidy. The bathroom is clean, and the toilet, tub, and shower are mildew free. The only complaint I have on cleanliness is the floor. Walk around after your shower with bare feet, and they are black on the bottom in no time. Im thinking they dont mop often. We stayed five nights. We normally reuse towels and bedding and dont have our room serviced. But in those five days, I only saw rooms being serviced twice. I did approach when I saw them and asked for what we needed in our room. Not a big deal, just notable. When I put trash and linens outside the door they were promptly removed. Swimming pool is very clean. However, there are no lounge chairs, and many chairs there are broken. There is a convenience store next door, so you can stock up on snacks if you want. Fridge and microwave in the room.
My daughter and I, plus our small doggie, came to this Days Inn after refusing to stay at a not so favorable hotel that we had reserved in San Antonio. We reserved by phone while driving and check in was easy. The desk clerk was so patient and kind. He gave us a room that met ALL of our requests, on the first floor, facing our car. The room was very large, and most importantly CLEAN with hard floors and with all of the fixtures working!! A great relief after a weary day on the road!!
Very dirty, couldnt get the smell of smoke out of the no smoking room, found the beginning of a wasp nest on the ceiling of the bathroom, the new clean sheet had some kind of nasty stain right in the middle, they had quit serving breakfast due to Covid although all the other hotels we stayed in across Texas served. I think the family was padding the bottom line. If the Wyndham corporation is aware of the condition of this place I would be greatly surprised. I tried staying elsewhere but this was the first summer people could travel because of Covid and San Antonio, TX is a huge vacation destination that our options were limited.
This was a cozy little room. The lady that checked us in was especially nice. She was a white lady that was working late but I forgot her name. Anyway, service was great, room was clean (except for the bathtub), and breakfast was fast so we could get on the road. I wouldve given 5 stars if the tub were clean.
I love this place. Stayed here multiple times on our visits with family. Pet friendly (at a reasonable price), clean rooms, very friendly staff, it’s not the Hyatt or anything but for a days inn it’s one of the best hotels in it’s price range in this area. Plus the staff is absolutely amazing!! The beds are very comfortable it’s in a great location, there is construction going all all around this area so be prepared for that but I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!
Friendly owner, the back side of the hotel is quiet, no highway noise. Room was average in ammenities. The wood vinyl floor throughout was nice. COVID review so no breakfast. There is a H.E.B in walking distance. Decent price and overall acceptable for a one night stay.
Ive stayed here many many things in the last two years. This time I really needed to.leave a review. I had to reschedule my stay to see my daughter due to a death in the family in GA. Then my daughter in Boerne schedule changed and I had to change my stay again. They staff was so gracious and helpful accommodating me with all the issues. All my rooms, smoking rooms, have always been clean. Never an issue in two years, well a broken remote once but that isnt a good reason for a bad review. Breakfast is the same at all hotels, but my kids always love making their own waffles, I do wish they put out cream cheese. Coffee is always great. But most importantly the staff is awesome. I even asked if I needed to stay another day if it would be an issue, of course not, just have to recheck in when I am supposed to check out.
Clean place to stay with very inexpensive rooms. Rooms were clean with some amenities . Price was very reasonable and breakfast was included. Breakfast was the best motel breakfast that we had on our trip. Not great but sufficient. Parking was ample during our stay. The pool was clean but located a little far from motel like it had been added long after motel construction. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Motel looked recently renovated. Office and breakfast rooms were well decorated. We ended up staying two nights here and had no problems.
The website shows theyre serving breakfast even through Covid restrictions. However they are not. They only have a limited grab and go breakfast. Restroom smells like smoke, even though it was a non-amoking room. Front desk staff was rude.Upon getting to our room we found the door to be slightly open. We assume this was due to cleaning...unsure as we decided the front desk was already so rude it wouldnt be worth the effort to move. The AC unit did not stay on during the night, and in the warm texas nights this is a problem. Hope it can be fixed before it gets hotter.
For me 5 stars, cleanliness is number one for me and not luxury and dirty. We cannot expect cheap price and beautiful I liked everything about this place yes you can hear people coming and going but it is a quiet area breakfast better than more expensive hotels. Desk service great of course its how we approach desk I stayed Friday and came back Sunday.
You get what you pay for. It is an older motel that has been well maintained but it still shows its age. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and accomodating. I believe his name was Sam Patel. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. If you are not a hotel snob, it is a great place to stay.
Nice and quiet affordable smoking rooms better than the Comfort Inn across the street there too snotty like theyre better than you thats how they act I know I stayed there time 10 times before but this is around the corner of little bit but its worth this day its so quiet awesome staff I just cant say enough about this place more than enough rooms I was here eleven years ago still the same very quiet very nice nice cold AC yes nice soft in bed and no neighbors they have enough room they spread you out yes Comfort Inn across the street very snobby rude like I dont make enough money or something you know thats how they made me feel and Ive already been there ten times I never stay there again though this is my new home away from home
We came into town very last minute and they got us into a room quickly. We had a suite, which was well equipped with a kitchen and two refrigerators. The staff was nice and helpful. The building and rooms are old but kept very clean. The bedding was comfortable, the water ran hot, all in all much more than I expected for the price. There was some torn carpeting that needs replacing but that aesthetic detail is the only issue we found. Oh! And the continental breakfast has a waffle maker.
Nice motel wish the blinds closed better. I had to tie them up with a shoe to keep the lights out.The complimentary breakfast is good too. It always great to see a Texas shaped waffle maker. They had breakfast sandwiches too. Thats pretty rare for a breakfast bar. The taxidermy animals are cool too.
A bit pricey for what you get but it had an awesome location. We were just passing through but its a neat little town where I would have loved to spend the day. Room was clean. No bells and whistles but if I ever go back to that town theres a possibility I would stay here again. Did not have any issues
They didnt have any hot water to bathe in. A power outage shutdown the water heater. I tried again in the morning and there was still no hot water. To their credit, the bed was soft, the air conditioning worked, they had a good continental breakfast, the staff were polite and there was a micro fridge in the room. However, I really wanted a hot bath that night. I will go to a different hotel next time.
We were stuck here for a week 😑 but the staff were great!!! Helpful to a our needs wasnt loud thankfully didnt notice People just hanging out sounds was kept our room was good thankful they had washer and dryer!!! If I ever broke down in Texas again Id want it to be here lol thanks for the good experience keep it up yall
We checked in late last night. The front desk clerk was very nice. In the morning we were running late for the breakfast but managed to get there at 9:30am. The guy was still very nice and helpful and allowed my kids to get food and us to get coffee. He also turned on the waffle maker so the kids could make waffles even though breakfast was closed down. Super nice and he went above and beyond. The room was nice and clean, ac/heater worked very well. The guy at the front desk even called us to ask us if my girls left a hat in the lobby. Very nice! We are running late on checking out and they are ok with it. Although my stay is short, it was nice and I will definitely stay here again if ever Im in the area again!!! Thank you Days Inn and staff!!
We booked the one bedroom suite for a week. The night prior to our arrival they called to inform us the suite was given to someone else. They suggested we choose a different room. No, thats unacceptable. Whats the purpose in booking a suite? The management without consideration to us (we booked the room a month prior) just gave it away. I assume they thought by informing at the last minute we would choose different accommodations. We did not and will never book a reservation there in the future.
My husband and I were hesitant to stay here because of some of the reviews but I am glad we did. reasonably priced and well worth the money. My family and I enjoyed this hotel. A gentleman by the name of Rauel checked us in. He treated us with great respect and kindness. He knew his job and did it very well, he did not hesitate to go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, as well as other staff members. the pool was great for the kids and relaxing at night. I have to say not having any carpet in the room was a welcomed sight. the beds were not as comfortable as most may desire, but it was not the most uncomfortable. The free breakfast was nice as well with most of the usual items you would find. if you are looking for a hotel close to the softball complex, this would be it!
This is a decent hotel we had to stay here because we were in a bind and it was 3 in the morning so we settled for this hotel. I wouldnt choose this place unless I was in a pinch again. The rooms were fairly clean the the beds were stiff but they did have a texas shaped waffle maker so thumbs up for that!
Ok place to stay, staff we encountered were all very friendly and rooms were clean but a bit outdated, comforters had tears in them, stains on wall, light switch had to be turned on just right to get light to come on, could see marks on walls where contractor drew for measurements or similar, overall not bad experience just really nice. has potential. EDIT... we stayed a second time for a different event and overall still had a great time the room we got still had a few small cosmetic issues but we still felt safe and secure and everyone we encountered was very friendly
It is a very old hotel and it has all outdated amenities. The beds and pillows were comfy but the shower was very aged and had another woman’s hair all over the wall. As my partner shut the bathroom door, the large picture (about three feet wide/bigger than me) hanging on the wall beside me fell on me and then shattered glass everywhere. I got glass in my feet. I will not stay here again. The picture was held up with only two common nails that were barely an inch long.
The night desk attendant was very helpful and went out of his to help my needs. The rooms facing away from the highway are quiet. My only concern is the narrow steps of the stairs. They need to be long enough for an entire large foot. What is convenient is that it is next to a large grocery store and eating is within walking distance. The charming Main Street shopping area is a short cab ride away and walking distance for those who are fit. There are two great beer drinking establishments in the Main Street area, The Dodging Duck and the Bier Garten behind the bistro.
No continental breakfast due to covid, only coffee seems like a cheap move when the best western 1 exit down (less than 3 min from here) has the continental breakfast from 6am to 9:30am with social distancing guide lines in place. Been staying here for years an it seems the new owners arent doing it justice.
So the hotel manager was rude to my wife from the start and provided preference to one person over her when she asked if she could check out the room before staying because were worried about smoke smells effecting our baby. The manager told my wife take it or leave it and she had no choice. The dude was straight up rude to her. Anyways, we had to stay because rooms were booked throughout Boerne and our AC was out at home. The room was rank, the AC was off, and it took about 3 hours for the room to cool from 87 degrees. The room itself looked like something from the Bates motel and it seems all they did to make it nice was slap a British company name in the front of it and call it a day. You cant put lipstick on a pig.
THIEFS !!!! Stayed a week as usual, checked out forgot my work phone on the bed with a brand new pair of wireless headphones. Called them back to ensure they would save them for me until I returned.... Im sorry sir we didnt find your stuff absolutely no where else I could have left them.
The young Landy at front desk was very helpful...The rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean... Air-conditioning, Microwave & Mini fridge worked great and the price was good...must add great location off of I-10...I travel down I-10 a lot for work and Ill most definitely be looking to stay in this area again
Beware of this place!!!!! Room 215 is infested with fleas. My 4 year old and my 6 month old were bitten all over their little bodies. :( My husband asked to speak to the manager, and the guy at the front desk said he was not answering his phone ... I asked for my money back and he said he had voided the transaction, but it never showed up on my card as a void... LIAR..
PROS:My Fiancé and I were invited to a Wedding in Comfort, TX. This motel was the closest and most affordable, we were just staying 1 night and paid $104 including taxes for a Saturday. They allow pets and charge a $20 per stay fee. No surprise extra fees, the room was clean and the Wifi was fast. Conveniently right off the highway, theres a Dennys, Dunkin Donuts and gas station down the street.CONS:We stayed during the renovation, unfortunately our room was located in the garbage area so we made sure to park our car a bit further away. An inconvenience as our room was located right in front of a parking spot which was covered in garbage. The walls are thin, we can hear our neighbors clearly so it took a while to go to bed. We stayed in room 116, our AC/Heater cord couldnt reach the outlet. Looks like when they did the renovation, they didnt place the AC/Heater correct. We were freezing in the night/early morning. We didnt bother switching rooms as it was only 1 night. We did complain during check out and received an apology so hopefully theyll fix that for future clients!
Water pressure isnt quite there. In our room, shower valve was installed backwards. We had to take a couple cold showers before this was figured out. I had a few issues with getting into my room and they had said they were changing their security system so the lock had to be reprogrammed. It worked after so i believe them. I felt it was over priced for the quality. A little birdy told me they were planning on remodeling soon though so these problems will likely be fixed.
First night there got bit up by some bugs all over mine an my wifes body.. it was dirty my wife took pics an showed them... they are dirty an liars.... they manager jaun or jose he is a cool dude but the house keeping ladys are a joke... but now they said they are fixing up rooms.. so any body who stays here be careful for bed bugs... an stains on sheets an skirting on beds... dust everywhere .... oh they got a sign to thats says they jeep the world green they will fold ur towels so u can reuse them.... an make the beds with the same linen....

2022-05-17I had made a reservation on 4/11 for 5/16. They emailed me the confirmation and I printed it out without looking at it. When I showed up after an 8 hour drive, the desk clerk couldn’t find the reservation and then we discovered the error. Karen was very understanding and helpful and gave me the same room rate as it was when I reserved rather than making me pay the drop in rate. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows too.

2022-06-16There was construction going on outside the hotel (they have been working on the on and off ramps and the frontage road) so it was very dusty and dirty around the hotel, so I dont blame them for that, but the rooms were the cleanest Ive seen in a long time. The staff and owner were very helpful and accommodating according to our circumstances so Im truly grateful. Great place to rest for a night (or a few) here in Boerne TX. A very, very big thank you to all the staff and ownership.

2022-03-15I rarely post reviews, and when I do theyre mostly positive. However, I feel compelled to warn people against staying at Days Inn Boerne. The bed linens had stains on them. The room was below average for the price. The television was small and there was no way to access the channels listed in the menu guide. (No way to get to any of the ESPN channels, on a really big college basketball weekend.) When I asked at the front desk about ice, I was told there was no ice anywhere on the property. (One of our group later told me she asked a different person, and found that there was an ice machine outside in a back area by a washing machine.) Really, for the room rate, you can find a much better place to stay, Im sure of it.

2022-04-10The place was clean and had easy access to I-10.I will say that if you call the number listed, use option number 2 in order to reach the hotel front desk to make reservations. If you use option 1 its goes to a call center and the center employee messed up my original reservations.

2022-03-20Positive: Clean, friendly Negative: I didnt realise there were smoking allowed in the rooms. That smell was horrible, but my own mistake. Will learn from this experience.

2022-01-16My son was traveling home for military leave and stopped here because they allow pets. However, the rate on the website was $67 but he was charged $167 PLUS a $100 deposit! When he brought the rate difference up to the night desk person, he had some illogical excuse as to why the rate was drastically different. Weve had similar problems with other hotels in Texas, such as the computer is down so you will have to pay cash,. Not sure why, but makes me not want to ever go back! I mean, where do they find these late night employees?? Criminals are us?? My advise, avoid hotels in Texas, period!
