It was ok. Room was clean but the shower was something to think about. There was mold and mildew growing in the stall, not to mention that the shower knob was falling out. The breakfast, Not So Good either. Little white lunch bag with 2 tiny muffins small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. All in all, it was comfortable but I like carpet better on my floors.
Horrible room. Holes in the walls broken furniture that was years old with grease stains from peoples greasy heads on the recliner paint peeling off the walls WAY WAY OVERPRICED would give zero stars if I had the option would never stay here or recommend this place again.
Front desk man was friendly and accommodating! Overall, we just weren’t impressed with the room and mostly no Continental breakfast! We booked this hotel for the breakfast but instead you’re given a brown paper sack with an orange and two tiny muffins. The first night we had some stranger banging on our door, the second night someone was vacuuming at 9:30 pm. We have 3 more nights here...Walls are paper thinBeds are comfy, bring your own pillowIt’s a good hotel for very short stay, not for more than a night or two tho!
Positive: Location to event. Negative: PRICE! Paid a luxury hotel price and got a cheap dumpy motel room. Breakfast was a tangelo and a small pastry. Not sure if the room was completely clean as after we arrived we took showers and walked on floor and are feet became filthy.
For an overnight stay, it was adequate. The facilities need a serious facelift, the door handle to my room was not working properly. I was quoted a different price than what my credit card was charged. The TV sometimes worked. As I said, its good in a pinch, but long term stays....I would pick something else.
Absolute worst experience ever! Stained sheets, entry of bathroom floor had exposed rusted nails, a/c moldy, holes in couch. The outdoor stairwell was rusted with jagged metal. To make it even worse, the room reeked with the smell of curry! When requesting a refund, the staff was rude and argumentative. I have pictures to substantiate all of these claims! We did not stay!
The first room smelled really, really bad. Like dead fish or something. I was immediately disgusted. Then I saw a decent-sized small cockroach. I killed it. There was an ashtray in the smoking room, which was great. Many places dont bother. My boyfriend talked to the front desk and thankfully there was another room available. It was a typical room for the price. Nothing fancy, but I didnt see any roaches and it didnt smell bad, so theres that.I did notice an employee heading towards the first room with a can of Raid in the morning. Nice that some effort was made, but from what I know about cockroaches, regular pest control would probably be more effective. The mattress was actually pretty comfortable. Probably would have given a better review if not for the first room.
Stayed there last night passing through to Vegas. There was a space heater in the room because the heater didnt work. Not very clean the pillows sucked curtain was broke cigarette holes in the blanket. The shower wand in the bathroom didnt stay straight so it sprayed out onto the floor. I would never recommend this place. The quality inn across the street looked nice though wish I would have went there instead
Bathroom ceiling looked like it had had water damage and as gonna fall in tried to shower water wouldn’t even get hot sink wouldn’t drain room smelled bad dresser had missing drawers didn’t even have a phone in the room to call the front desk paid way more than the room was worth I won’t be coming back to this one !
Cigarette holes in the blankets. Water in bathtub constantly running yet SHOWER doesnt work only tub. TV didnt work either, just turns on to black screen. Front desk man said, maintenance will be here in the morning. Gee, thanks, that sure helps with my 1 night stay tonight now doesnt it. $225 for 1 night stay... worth maybe $40. Bed was comfortable...
Picked this motel by reviews and availability on a busy weekend. Motel is old and need updating. Was told comes with breakfast... it was a sack breakfast with a muffin and tangerine. No coffee or water. Room was honestly a $59 room but price gouged for $200 per night. I booked thru Booking.com. I feel lime they write their own reviews because they did not depict the room we had. Humid musty room. Bathroom was in need of repairs. Extremely disappointed in room for the price
So disappointing. Sofa was stained with sweat on the arms and back pillows, stained with spilled liquids on the seat cushions. Long black hair on shower wall (my hair is short and white). Shower head wouldnt swivel, so the water shot out onto the bathroom floor and I couldnt adjust it. Plus, the adjustable spray head was stuck on one setting. Bed was good but the pillows were lumpy chunks of foam. Slept without them. Notepad on desk had been subjected to moisture. We wont be coming back.
I doubt that I will ever stay at a days inn again. If this is breakfast. I dont know dont bother. Last night my room was located in an area that should have been locked. Went down for ice, because not on each floor and was concerned, but felt better because of that lock. No. Also. Hallway no light so seeing my key a little difficult. It really doesnt deserve 2. The only thing I can really say was the room was clean. Oh, dont turn on fan bthrm. No sleep ever. Basically its over priced, but cheap. for a few more dollars you can go to Y.O. or inn of the hills.
Our room had a strange odor like fish and soured veggies. Cigarette burns on both blankets. Most furniture was stained or slightly falling apart. The ice machine near our room didnt work, so we had to go all the way to the front office. Outdoor pool and hot tub werent open although the online amenities lists it as open year round. The room was clean, and the housekeeper was very friendly. I was too tired to bother changing rooms; however, the state of the room was far below my expectations even for Days Inn. Stay at one of the other hotels up the street instead!
Very poor customer service. Front desk people need to be more friendly. I was in town because of an emergency and asked for a discount because of it and all I got was a sorry, its Saturday. The room was ok, musty smelling. Definitely need new couches. This place is nothing more than a glorified motel.
Room was dirty. Eveything is worn out. The beds arent even on a queen size frame. Theres a hole in the wall literally as you walk in the room. Cigarette burns in the sheets and bathroom. This is place is a ghetto and I would avoid it at all cost. I should have slept in my car before paying 169$ for this hole in the wall.Update. Days inn will never earn my business again and your automated response is even more offensive as it shows your management doesnt care...The place seems to cater to meth heads and drunks.
We live in bandera and our air conditioning went out. The temp got up to 80. Just, NO! So we came to kerrville because I had a procedure with one of my Dr.s the next day. We had stayed there before and had a great experience. However, this time the TV did not work and we were there 2 days. We asked repeated for assistance. It was very lack luster like she did not care. She said she would send maintenance however, no one came. Also there were several dead insects. Ewww!!On the bright side, the room was very clean, we were offered extra blankets, towels, etc. When my husband checked out morning of day 3 the staff didnt care at all that i had been stuck in that room for over 48 hours no tv. I felt like we should have at least gotten a small discount... I definitely wont ever stay there again
Terrible dirty old stinking hotel. Rooms smell of cigarettes and pinesol. I booked with Expedia and rooms are nothing like the pictures. Could not stay in the room so canceled reservation and it cost me $74.00 and I didnt stay in the hotel. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND EXPEDIA IF YOU CANT STAND CIGARETTES AND PINESOL SMELL AND OLD OUTDATED HOTELS.
$160 for 1 night in this place was highway robbery. We only stayed here because it was the last hotel room available within a 50 mile radius. They should have paid us to stay here, not the other way around.Photos on their website and Google are very misleading. The bathrooms have tile that should be white, but is black instead. The floor was disgusting and had dog hair all over. The sheets were stained, pillows were yellow, and the room was overall very rundown. We are only sleeping for a few hours (with the lights on) and leaving ASAP.Wyndham should he ashamed to attach their name to this rats nest.
I walk into my room and the smoke smell was really strong. The first thing I see is a very chewed up couch that you would see on the side of the road. A filthy place, and Ive seen few as bad as this--this place was an eye-opener. Why anyone would give this place a positive review? Because they probably havent been to this property. A place full of mostly working men who are forced to stay there because their are few rooms available in Kerrville. Avoid.
The room bedding was not grwat and the beds were very comfortable with springs in my back. The restroom was the worst! The shower walls had stains and appeared to need some major scrubbing. The bathroom floor was dirty with black in the grout, it needed to be mopped and cleaned correctly!
Dont stay here! Room looked like it was a scene of a brawl at one time. Every lamp shade was cracked & broken. Walls patched, scraped paint on walls & doors. The carpet was filthy, my white socks turned black from walking on carpet. Killed a cockroach climbing up the wall. The couch was torn, broken & disgusting. The room smelled sour & spoiled. I didnt dare set my luggage on the floor. Edge of tub had numerous cigarette burns.Only good thing... very hot water...I needed a shower just from walking in the room. Worst night ever spent in a hotel. I cant believe they charged me 15,000 Wyndham points for the night. Not worth 5,000 points! I will be reporting this to Wyndham Rewards.
The staff was very polite and the room was bigger than I expected. I got a room with 1 queen bed. It had an sitting area, a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The water pressure was pretty great and the air conditioner worked well. The room also had a mini fridge, microwave, a coffee pot station, and a medium size TV. The room and linens were very clean. All in all, you cant beat $50 a night. I would recommend this place if you just need a place to shower and lay your head down at night like I did.
For a weekend, the price was awesome so we had to take advantage of it. Smoking rooms are actually cheaper than non-smoking. One of the AC knobs was broken but luckily it still worked. One thing that stood out to me, the shower is out in the open: no door. The toilet had a door though. Parking fills up quick and not a lot of spaces. Would stay again if the price is right.
This is NOT a hotel, it is a motel. Price is reasonable, location good. Not ADA compliant, no elevator or ramps. Room was really clean, maid service was great. Security not so great. Someone had broken the chain lock in the door jamb before us. Informed front desk...they just glued the wood back on, lock and all. Breakfast is not that great....dinner at the YO Ranch close by was really good. We were there 5 nights and never once had a warm shower, let alone a hot one. Wifi NEVER worked and staff could have cared less. Maid service quickly went downhill, as weekend staff did not change bed linens, vacuum, or empty the trash. I would only recommend this place if your only alternative is sleeping in your car.
We had a great time during fredricksburg trade days. This Hotel was perfect for us. It is a little out dated but it was clean, beds were comfy, we felt safe, and the AC was on point!! Very satisfied and we WOULD definately stay again. We did NOT see any roaches or rodents..
Place was ok & affordable price. Had to stay due to car problem. Sheets were clean. Place had a strong freshner odor. Notice carpet was so dusty & dirty that it could be the reason for use of strong freshner. Could use a good carpet changer better yet go to laminate. Place was busy, yet quiet to sleep at night. Affordable. Friendly front desk.
After having a horrible experience at Lone Star hotel and almost in tears I came to Days Inn where the gentleman that was working that night helped me. Took his time to calm me down. Telling me Im safe now. Makeing sure my daughter was alright also since she was with me. When he didnt have to do anything but take my money. The room was spacious. Bed was super compfy.
Non smoking room clearly used to be smoking room. Very old and outdated. Doors stick. Parking extremely crowded. Guy at desk had no idea what he was doing. Won’t be staying here again. Pics online and actual motel are NOTHING alike. Yes cheap prices, also cheap motel.
They were so kind, and clean. We came at a weird hour due to a horrible experience at another hotel we had to come from San Antonio to Kerrville at 2am. The lady was so wonderful and treated us with such kindness. Kerrville is a cute town and this hotel was nice and peaceful and clean. So thankful.
By the price of the hotel you get what you pay for...it is outdated but clean. Close to what we needed it for. We had a/c issues but they put us in a new room with no problem. If you like a hard mattress this is your place. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. If you need a fast and cheap place while you run to hills. Then this place will be ok.
If I had of known this place was being operated under such rude, careless, unprofessional people! We definitely wouldn’t have booked a room here. No accommodations offered are anything for my husband disablity. Advertising hot tub an pool. That’s false aswell. Hot tube clearly not under construction, but looking at it obviously it is. No red tape are yellow for safety of anyone. Ugh I’m so upset with this dump. We only came for college orientation, this place effects the city period
Our room was awful. We had blood on our sheets wall and ceiling. We had a hard time getting the housekeeper to understand that We needed new sheets. She didnt do it and I needed up doing it myself. The office did offer to call her from home to come back (who does that?) The tv did not work. It would come on for about 10 mins and shut off. The first night we were there it was horrible but after the manager came in 4 or 5 times he finally decided we werent making it up and changed the HDMI cord then it worked. We finally got the hosekeeping to come in and they did an ok job but they took our ashtrays. So after a long day of riding I had to go down to the office for ashtrays. When I got there the office manager said Are you sure? They dont take the ashtrays Well Im pretty sure I wasnt just trying to get extra dollar store ashtrays from the Days Inn. He reluctantly gave me 2. The door handle to go into the room was broken. Like really broken. If you try to turn it Like a regular person then it wont open. You had to turn it like you were the hulk to get it to open. The last morning when I got up and went to walk into the bathroom water was pouring from the bathroom ceiling. The water was coming from what they assume is a broken pipe. This means there will most likely be mold in the walls at some point after this since the level of cleaning is just ok. The office manager gave us a key to another room so we could use the shower(This room was much nicer than the I e we had). One housekeeper was singing loudly while cleaning staring early in the morning. They were also talking loudly while cleaning. We could hear them in our room from other rooms. The property offered no apologies or compensation for anything. This stay was very rough and unsatisfying. We did not leave happy and rested. We made our reservations a month in advance and got what I can only assume was the worst room in the complex.
Paid and booked a reservation over the phone for a king size room, non smoking. Received a confirmation number and everything. Travel all that way to the hotel to hear that I don’t have a reservation, and that I’ll be charged again since my card apparently declined? How does one receive a confirmation if a card declines? They don’t. The room I received was two twin beds in a garbage smoke and burn filled room. Air conditioner seems to be from the 40s, and the bath tub was disgusting. Then get a call that my pet deposit declined? How’d you take payment for my room, but not that deposit. So i have to return to the office to pay yet another pet deposit only this time its doubled. Why? Apparently he believes i have two animals instead of one. My questions are answered indirectly, with attitude and eye rolls. So thats 5 payments total. Not pleased and will be contacting the better business bureau if my money isn’t returned. Moral, stay at the comfort inn across the street. I would have if not for a weight limit on pets.
The carpets were so dirty my feet were black from walking on them. I had to teach the front desk attendant to change the juice. I waited at the desk and they only came 30 minutes later after calling them 10x when my keys were deactivated after my first day. I had to pay more money to get the room I thought already booked. One good thing they let me check in early.
Room was basically clean and okay but the bed was not comfortable and the main complaint was the sheets were very worn and thin and had a visible stain that I was very concerned was not clean and I requested new sheets and was just given a top sheet which was still thin. There was not a blanket, only a thin bedspread that had cigarette burn holes in it. So I was very uncomfortable in the bed. And the curtains over the window had a big gap on the sides that was not private enough for me and allowed in way too much light.
Bait and switch reservations. A group of senior citizens had reservations for three nights at $49.99 per night. 04- 6,7,&8. We were sent conformation letters, but the price was not on the letter. I questioned this and the manager sent me an email stating 3 nights at $49.99 per night plus tax. A few days later, the owner said this was not correct, and cancelled all the reservations. There was the attitude, take it or leave it. I explained that the manager and clerk could not possibly be wrong on all our reservations. In reviewing their posted prices and all booking agencies, there is NOT A SINGLE ONE THAT HAS THE PRICE AT $149.99 FOR THOSE DAYS.
Three small pillows on our King size bed. We tried to call the front desk but the line was busy. My husband had to walk to the front desk. The attendant said that 3 pillows was all we get and we would have to talk to someone in housekeeping. He said this was just an office and there was nothing he could do. Housekeeping is conveniently gone for the night. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! THANKS FOR THE HOSPITALITY JERK!
Roach infested, within 45 minutes of being there we found a small roach crawling on the bed and the head board. We went to the restroom and found FIVE roaches 2 which were an inch long! We were absolutely disgusted and started packing right away. The room itself looked very run down and old, the couch had weird liquid stains all over. We went to the front and the indian man was very upset, he showed us a nice room which was very crampt and exactly the same. We had to leave and went to The Holiday Inn Express and we are very happy down the street. I DO NOT RECCOMEND!
This place SUCKS... the day after my check in I went to the lady in charge and She told me that I can keep my key because I’m not checking out. But the day after that, when I came back I cannot enter my room and found out that all my belongings where already transferred in their office. Also, my credit card was charged for two days. When I talked to the manager with an accent from India he denied that they charge my credit card two days even though there was a receipt of proof. When I check in again they charge me $11.30 more expensive and the manager did not even offer any help to bring my baggage back to the same room… completely SUCKS!!!
For the price of $129 per night, its the little things that add up.... holes the wall where doorknobs hit it, shower rod pulling out of the wall, shower control knobs pulling away from the wall, a remote control with batteries. These are such small things...but it just makes one feel like they didnt get their moneys worth. The other trouble I had was changing my room type. The lady couldnt understand me, nor could I understand her... language bariier I would NOT stay here again.
I had my vehicle damaged while parked there. The person drove off making this a hit and run.The owner of the establishment would not allow me to view the security so we could find out who hit my car and drove off.As a result of this I will have to pay out of pocket to have my car repaired.
Horrible. The only reason Im giving one star is because I cant choose less. The a/c unit rattled and barely cooled. Ice machine was broken, vending machine sold out, slime or mold or something on window frame. Table has something sticky on it, I could go on and on. The only reason we didnt leave was that there were no other rooms available and it was late.
Where do i start...? Rooms were ok but the toilet was plugged up. The pool was dirty and green. When we left , he forgot his laptop in the room. We called and they didnt know anything about it. So either management are a bunch of thieves or housekeeping is. The very thing you fear when you stay at a motel. We are filing a police report.
The personnel at the counter are not that friendly. They barely look at you when youre trying to get they keys to your room. I rather pay $20 extra at Holidays Inn to have a better bed. It was a last minute trip and had no choice, my back was hurting after a night of rest.
I almost never give a 1 star rating. The reason I am this time is because of the state of the floors. The carpet in my room, 127, was so filthy it was making our feet black. I washed my kids feet and within seconds they were black again. PLEASE CLEAN YOUR CARPETS!!!!!
The beds was old and she did not want to accept AAA said that they was independent owned so they dont have to accept AAA the receptionist wanted to go back and forth with me in the morning about that AAA so I just took what they had. That is not what I supposed to do but I was tired and needed rest
Convenient. Clean Room (no smoking). Reasonable Rates. Could not be any better for an overnight stay in Kerrville. Wifi excellent too. Did not try the breakfast but it did look ok and people were there carrying on conversations. Must be new management in 2011 as none of the early reports have creditability to what we enjoyed there.
The rooms were not very clean my feet were black after walking on the carpet one evening. I had to wait forever at the front desk for somebody to come after my keys got uncoded then I had to teach the desk attendant how to do his job the next morning with the continental breakfast
We stayed one night. The room was clean and staff were friendly. Texas shaped waffle maker also other breakfast items are available. Little pricey for Days Inn.Used our military discount but the tax was same as discount so didnt help really.Doing it online would have been cheaper i guess.

2022-04-15Good Room and very friendly staff. For the price it was unexpected. Our room had updated floors and good amenities. It was clean! the bathroom shower had good pressure, although a few scars from hard use but very tolerable. Very quiet considering the traffic and full capacity of the motel. Pet friendly was a definite plus although, not much area for pet exercise but we walked the block. We will stay again.

2022-02-12I know I approached this place as a cheap option but I paid more than a Motel 6. The staff was friendly so no complaints there. I checked in pretty late so I am also aware that I should be thankful. I was told the wrong location but was close enough to find my room. I did get to meet a pair of dueling cockroaches in the bathroom. Happens and dealt with them. The shower curtain and towel racks appear to have been pulled out multiple times and repaired. Exposing the multiple paint jobs as they relocate them each time. Bed frame was broken and made the bed tilt towards the feet. Wasnt staying in a fancy hotel, but I think Motel 6 might have been a better value

2022-06-02Positive: Great location. Very friendly accommodating staff. Clean rooms. This is clearly a no frills experience. You stay here for the price only. Negative: Their breakfast is ridiculous and way below what everyone else is doing. A brown bag with 2 mini tangerines and a package of 2 mini blueberry muffins. Really? That would be embarrassing to me.

2022-05-07This is a 2 star hotel, but the staff adds a star as they were very friendly and efficient. The rooms and furniture are very dated with holes and dents - see pictures. It is basically a very old room with new flooring. The hallways are stained and the pool is small and directly next to the busy street. The breakfast was a paper sack with a cheap processed muffin and squishy orange. But, for the price, there were no bed bugs and the TV worked.

2022-06-06Positive: The location was excellent. Negative: The electrical outlets at the sink and hair dryer did not work. The door facing in the restroom was scratched up. The hotel room door did not seal when closed and it looked like the door facing had been ripped off before. Did not feel safe.

2022-06-10Booked a non-smoking room through a third party, like many travelers do nowadays. At check-in the owner? Insisted on another $40 on top of the pre-paid booking, otherwise the only option is a smoking room. I showed him my receipt clearly stating non-smoking. Unnecessary hustle for 40 bucks, awkward and greedy approach which will ultimately resulted in losing a customer. Below average motel with aged rooms.

2022-05-31This place needs updating and management needs a class in customer service . Got up early to shower and get dressed only to find there was very low water pressure . Was not able to shower , was not compensated or offered a reduced rate on another stay.. Management blowed it off as water had been turned off for repair .. I dont believe that . .. waste of 121.00 which some 3 rd party got 47$ of.. wont ever due that again ...

2022-03-30Room was ok. Description notes Rv parking. It’s very limited and the lot is small so if one has an Rv I suggest to get here early. The lot is very small. Most bothersome, was my keys didn’t work on 2 occasions and no one in the office to help. Found the manager about 10 minutes later. Definitely seems to b understaffed.

2022-03-23Positive: Unfortunately I can¿t say anything good about this motel. Negative: booked 3 rms, 2 nts with 2 queen beds - with free breakfast, for family wedding. No queen rooms were available, no breakfast offered, very loud, no elevator, & people grilling on personal bbq grills outside their motel doors. Choking smoke - dangerous!

2022-05-24Clean, well-stocked room, very friendly and helpful personnel, convenient location, great price! Anyone traveling through the area will find this motel a very good place to stop.
