DCI stepped up when our previous company closed with no notice. They are on time every week and communicate so well with their customers. If their phones are down, they post on Facebook letting us know. Any time I’ve had questions about our service they answer them quickly and thoroughly.
Last August, we were suddenly left in the lurch by our now defunct trash service. A friend, who was also deserted by the same trash company, told me about DCI. Immediately, I signed up with DCI. Despite the sudden influx of thousands of desperate clients, DCI has been fantastic. Thank You very much DCI!❤️
We have done business with DCI for over a year and the service has been great. On several occasions their crew has picked up scattered trash and ripped bags (thanks to the neighbors dogs) when they didnt have to. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Like all of the other reviews, mine is the same. Terrible customer service, yet their website reads as though its their number one priority. Weve had this service for over 3 years with continued problems. There have been numerous times where our trash was not picked up. The reps say its because of an unpaid invoice. Well we have paid every invoice that was ever sent and on time. I believe its an issue with their accounting system. Last year, we paid for the entire year so that we would not have any issues. That didnt work either, as we had interrupted service and they tried to say we hadnt paid--this wouldve been the time where new management took over. As of March 2018, we went back on monthly invoicing and of course are still having the same issues. There have been so many postings on the Nextdoor app regarding this company and their poor service. Do yourself a favor and choose a different trash service.
They want you to pay the bill but they dont pick up the trash. I had to go out of town one week. Bills were all paid up and my account was current. My poor wife walked 8 trash bags out to the curb only for them to drive right by in the truck. It happened twice that week. Their website says reliable but they are anything but that.
Payed trash company and it’s sitting outside not picked up and office closed. What a embarrassment. Don’t know why my husband ever changed to this company. Changing back as soon as possible. Never had poor service with other one. It was still picking up our trash even with this company with it’s late pickups finally came til had to let other one know we had switched, that’s how nice they are’ so this one would at least pick up what we pay for. Now with this happening forget it!! They should be reignbursing us. A week later:(Having to finish month out before can cancel and they also missed picking up our trash today also, called office no pick up)
The worst in Ellis county. They want their money paid on time, but you wont get your trash picked up regularly. Maybe 3x each month if lucky. Especially BAD!! around any holiday. Office person always had an excuse (read Liar) why trash was not picked up. IF you are new to area and need to establish service read DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVEN IF THEY OFFER IT FOR FREE!
They pick up the trash unless they have a truck broken down. In which case they will not pick up anything. One time it took a week to get it running again, and there was no back-up for the broken down truck. No discount on services for that month was offered.
Absolutely horrible. What an eye sore and embarrassment to the neighborhood to have trash sitting out twice a week, never to be picked up, in spite of having paid the company to do so! This has happened too frequently over the months to continue service with them, but they dont answer their phones, so we are unable to formally cancel. Extremely poor service. Incredibly disappointing. Waste of money. Find another company for your trash service.
While our trash is typically picked up, their service is awful, we had a billing issue, which took 4 phone calls over the course of 2 weeks to resolve. Our cans are routinely left sitting in the middle of the street. Every week I have to pick up trash out of the yard that has been spilled by DCI.

Well seeing the reviews here i know why... When you call in to get service the phone system is adorable it does not give ques to anyone only dial by name ended up having to hit 0# to get someone to answer. then got quoted 30.01 a month which is 5.01 more than anyone else. I asked if the trash had to be bagged they said yes I do not believe in using garbage bags they are a plague to landfills and very bad for our environment.
If you use this business and pay for recycling be sure to put it in blue or clear recycle bags, or leave loose in recycling container ( not provided). You will not see this info on their web site.

The worst customer service ever!!!! I pay in advance for a year of service and constantly have to fight with them to get my trash picked up. Soon they will want you to load the truck for them as it drives by. Please do yourself a favor and use another company.
We’ve used them for years, and the rare times we have had an issue, it’s been corrected quickly.
Great company that has had some service issues...but they worked on it and they have the best prices around. Service has gotten much better and they restored my trust in them.
What a mess. I’ve had them for a couple of years and have put up with missed late or poor service with continually increasing rates. There are enough other options out there do yourself a favor and pick one of those.

2022-02-22WARNING ⚠️ they have missed my trash every Monday of February I call and they tell me sorry we will send someone out right away. they didnt pick up until Thursday on one of my scheduled pick up days. So I called and canceled my service they tell me my last day will be the last day of February. They missed me this Monday so I call and they tell me We didnt pick you up because you canceled. I payed for service until the end of the month. I said thats fine but I want my money back Im sorry sir we dont do that. So buyer beware they will take your money but not give you service.

2022-04-15We have been customers for about five years. Very happy with service. Never had any issues. Just today, April 15, 2022, I was half way down my driveway with trash when the DCI truck passed. They saw me, backed up, took the trash, and wish me a good weekend. Very impressive customer service. Above and beyond, Id say.

2021-04-19Roach just up and quite us, so I called DCI and they have been picking up every since and I have no complaints. I have a big trash box with trash cans in side it, so when ever I have trash I just drop the trash bags in the trash cans any day of the week I feel like, and when DCI comes around 2 times per week, they just grab whats already out there. Does that sound simple well the truth of the matter is it really is that simple. So far they have done me and other family members right and there staff at the office is really nice and helpful.

2020-12-20Never had a problem, sometimes come late in the day, but they always come. Had to call to set up automatic billing, but that was easy.Edit: since the other trash company quit business, I understand DCI was going through an explosion of new customers. However, my service never suffered. If anything, it has become MORE reliable. The trash is usually picked up first thing in the morning now. New customers may have had some initial issues, but I think DCI has handled this influx of customers as well as they could have.

2019-12-31Weve had DCI for many years, since they first offered service to this area. We even encouraged other people to switch to them. All in all weve been satisfied with the service. Sometimes they come a little late, but they eventually come. That being said, we have had our trash COMPLETELY OVER LOOKED several times and believe me, theres no way you can miss seeing our trash on the curb. We put our trash out @ 6 this morning but when I came home about 3, the trash was still there while everyone elses trash in the neighborhood was gone! Today was the only holiday pick up! I called the office and was told that something like a passing car could have blocked it and was assured that my trash would be picked up Tuesday morning. Well see. Hopefully the dogs wont be able to get in my can. IM NOT HAPPY AT ALL about it!12-31-19 UPDATEIts Tuesday and DCI kept its word, they picked up my trash just like they promised. Special thanks to the driver for going out of his way and to Ashley and Haley who were extremely nice when I called in. Now days customer service is lacking, but these two ladies were great! Thanks again.

2021-06-07They came before 11:00 on the scheduled days, sent out notices regarding when they would not make pickups. Did not spill trash all over the streets and did not tear up the trash containers. Their billing was my only problem, sent me bills from over six months ago, that I had to validate receipts for from My bank account.

2021-03-03DCI has been providing my trash service for many years (over 10). They are a great company and I set it and forget it!. Its picked up every week and there is no problems. Love this company!

2017-08-21Used this company for years. Theyve missed a few pickups over the years, but were willing to send someone out that same week. Been late on my monthly payments many times and never had service suspended. Now its under new management and I was late on my payment (A drop in the bucket--Less than $100) and they suspended my service. No pro-rated amount offered for loss of service. Interesting enough, my neighbors trash company picks up my trash all the time since they run earlier than DCI - DCI (or those employees who pick up the trash) has caught a break with me as a customer.

2020-09-04Our area recently annexed, changed waste companies; HOWEVER, with DCI still as our garbage service company... knowing our services would end August 31st, serviced us once a week! Instead of the arranged AND paid for, Monday and Thursday, all throughout the month of August. August 31st (last day of our already paid service), they of course, ignored it. I called & spoke to Ashley whom told me it would be picked up the next day.....which of course never happened. I called every day this week, and she still has yet to return my call, and my trash sits. Ridiculously unprofessional business.

2020-08-17Got dumped by roAch waste company with no notice or even a refund in the middle of August. Went online with DCI n filled out the sign up form n within a few days they got back to me n said theyd be more than happy to do business with me. Looking outside right now n they picked up my trash. Many thanks DCI. Thanks for getting back to me asap. I can only imagine how many people have been coming at yall for new business.
