Food was decent, but they were extremely short staffed & the food was rang in individually as side items instead of the combo meals that we ordered. It took longer than it should of to get this corrected so we could pay and leave. Sadly, they werent even busy. Less than 5 tables in the entire restaurant.
The servers and cooks were amazing. Our food was exactly as we wanted it.Our server actually gave us 2 dollars to try at the claw machine for our two year old daughter!I lost lol. Then the manager, Julia even gave my daughter a stuff toy shed won earlier! It made my 2 year olds whole day! Great experience! Much appreciated.
I went there visiting from out of town. I specifically stated I wanted my. bacon crispy my pancakes well done. Order came pancakes done on side, bacon almost raw. Then manager said gave me a choice of more food or get a discount. I chose discount because I felt sick. In the end the discount was from my AARP card. Order 10.01 with AARP discount 9 something was just from AARP only. Wow.Then I was questioned about a tip. I assured the manager I am capable of giving tips. SMH. I will not return there.
Poor service. Cook made it very clear that he did not want to be there that day. Eggs came out overcooked and broken. Pancakes looked terrible, misshapen and took up the whole plate, uneasy to cut. Didn’t get our toast until our meals were almost done! There wasn’t even a lot of people!! Very disappointed
We had experience terrible service we was brought out our food and it was ok but what got us was we couldnt help but over hear the black guy which looked like he was a manager flirting with a waitress that looked as she was underage maby 17 possibly still in highschool
First, let me say that we have been going to the Burleson Dennys for several years and use to love going. Now not so much. The last time we ate inside the service was so bad that we had decided to only use curb service. Once, they forgot MY breakfast all together. After I called they did make it right. Now today, I couldnt get anyone to answer the phone and had to go inside (not exactly dressed right for it). We may never go back.
I never have a bad experience like the one I have at that locations the food take over in hour to come and come over cook my salmon was hard like a rock and that place was only two tables the service was bad the people who work there have bad actitud I dont recomend that location
I went during off hours because of their 24 hour service and was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of staff available along with a clean facility. The food I ordered was hot and made to order with one exception, the crispy bacon was cooked normally, no major issue but not as requested. To be fair, I didnt ask to have it replaced but feel it would have been had I said something. The location is pretty easy to get too and I would come here again if I was near.
Alexis was sweet kind and hilarious, not one customer in the entire place but she stayed on her feet running around getting things ready for the next day and my food and drinks. The cook was happy to oblige my special request. Food was great service was 5 star. Alexis deserves a raise and the cook needs to be offered partner for that location lol. Highly recommend this location. Always a pleasure at Denny’s
They werent very busy for a Wednesday morning, so we seem to have got a lot of service. Our waitress was helpful and efficient. The food was prepared very quickly as I would expect when theyre not busy, and was prepared correctly. Portions were good, price was reasonable, spent $26 including tip. I would recommend this Dennys to a friend.
Our server took so long to bring us portions of our meals. Took her several trips. Heres your toast and his bacon and eggs. Comes back with her pancakes and my plate. Forgot my daughters avocado till we were half done. Then comes with the bill, oops not my bill but another tables credit card receipt. Heres my bill, well partially. Forgot to add the avocado until I was paying. Terrible service. Even tells us not to tip her a dollar, should be at least 10 dollars. What now you are demanding a specific tip too?
I like to take my family there for dinner. The food is great, we always get off the $2 to $8 menu. I get the Everyday value slam $4 breakfast meal with 2 eggs, 2 sausage, hash browns, and even 2 pancakes. Big meal for $4 thats great. The servers are always nice to us. Thanks Dennys :)
Little slow on the drink refills. Got my friends order wrong. The waiter said it was his fault entirely and put the order in wrong on accident. He did fix it immediately but I dont think we should have been charged for her meal because it happened to have steak and chicken which took a while to remake. Other than that though the food and service was awesome!
For their only being two employees working at the time we went it was dinner time a little busy and he held it down make sure everybody was doing okay was a really good server and did everything behind the scenes as well and then there was a cook service was great even with only them two working. He kept his smile on his face and even made time for everyone there that we didnt even mind the wait. Give that guy a promotion wish I could remember his name!!! Food was hot and so good havent been to Dennys in a while and it did not disappoint.....
Terrible service. Not busy it I here and took 30 min for a drink order with 4 servers working less than 10 tables with less than 4 people at each table. Salt pepper and jelly are all empty. If you need something they take it from another customer after they use it and bring it straight to you without so much as making sure its clean. Everything was overcooked and multiple things were missing. Got seated with my son who is 4 who keeps asking why are they taking so long. Been seated for an hour now and a just getting my whole order. Service here has always been slow and food is sub-par as usual. Would not recommend this location
My 2 granddaughters & I ate at the Dannys off of the Alsbury Exit on I-35 in Burleson, Texas today. It was very delicious! The waiter/manager gave us excellent service! We were seated immediately, our orders taken right away, and our food served without a long wait! Everything was great!
So arrived at 9:40am and 30mins later nothing. So found out my order never got put in. Waitress came over and said the manager would be over and she explained what happened. Five mins later Ro came over, and we told him the waitress never put our order in. But we understand staff not showing, but 30 more mins past and again no order. So I stop the waitress and she said it still wasn’t put in. So after an hour and 20 mins and 4 cups of coffee we left. I was still willing to pay for the coffee, but of course no charge. Paying attention to detail is what they didn’t do this morning. If your constantly refilling someone’s coffee and not seeing them eat food, then that should have been priority over others that came in after and they got their food with no problem. Solution for them is next time our meal is free. No next time for us. They had time to fix the issue with the patience that we had. But still no priority but for the others that just walk in. They got their food with no issues. I can’t with this place. Now we have to find lunch some where since we got nothing from here besides the hot coffee.
I am being generous with my rating, because its a Sunday and wait times are generally high. This location lacked the staff and lacked customer service big time. After our hour wait which was double the amount of time we were estimated we would have to wait, which its fathers day and Sunday so it was understandable, we were seated. Upon being seated with our menus we sat in our booth unserviced for drinks and forgotten. We sat in our booth for at least 15 minutes and not one server came by our table, after me and my boyfriend decided sonic would be better, we got up and left. If it werent for him, whom is usually a hot head, I wouldve gave them one star. My advice to management is to better plan your operating days especially when they occur on a holiday. This day was poorly executed and failed to deliver on customer service. This place needs more staff and better customer service.
Waited a hour and 45 minutes while listening to the manager scream at the cooks for 45 minutes on xmas night. What a joke. Food wasnt made the way we ordered they started turning people away and put this sign up on the door. Food was cold when we got it not sure how that worked out after waiting a hour and 45 minutes.
Waited for 20 minutes before someone came to take a drink order, by that time we know what we wanted. The order came out 20 or so minutes later with no one checking on our drinks. The food order was wrong but didnt even bother to say anything because of the wait time as for the taste of the food lets just say when we left it looked like no one ate anything off the plates. Never going back.
Went to Denny’s because they make the best pancakes but something has changed in their recipe and everyone at our table was very disappointed. Our server, Lynette, however, made up with her excellent customer service. She is stellar in a workforce filled with mediocre food servers. Lynetta is a shining star!
WORST FATHERS DAY EVER! WE SAT FOR 15 30 MINUTES BEFORE WE STOPPED AN EMPLOYEE COMING FROM BATHROOM AND ASKED IF WE COULD BE SEATED. WE WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR OUR FOOD THE YOUNG LADY WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO BE OUR WAITRESS DIDNT EVEN SPEAK TO US UNTIL WE WERE ABOUT TO LEAVE. THE COOK ( HE ALSO HAD HIS CHILDREN THERE APPARENTLY LYING DOWN SOME WHERE) WAS CURSING THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE. NO ONE WAS WORKING THEY SPENT MORE TIME LAUGHING AND SPEAKING ABOUT OTHER CUSTOMERS THEN THEY DID WORKING. ONE YOUNG LADY WALKED AROUND FOR 30 MINUTES ON THE PHONE EATING. THE STAFF WAS EATING AND THE CUSTOMERS WERE WAITING THEN THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD TO SERVE. IF THIS IS HOW YOU RUN YOUR BUISNESS YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN, I HAVE WORKED CUSTOMER SERVICE MY WHOLE LIFE AND NEVER HAD I SEEN SERVICE SO BAD. THEY WHEN IS THE MEAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE. YOUR LUCKY I HAD TO GIVE A STAR SO I COULD WRITE THE REVIEW BECAUSE THIS STAFF DESERVES A NEGATIVE 5O STARS WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR COME BACK!!!!
I love Denny’s breakfast. Stopped at this location this morning and was highly disappointed with the service. There was only a couple tables, so not busy at all, and it took almost 10 minutes to get seated. They had a lot of employees there and they didn’t even acknowledge me for a few minutes. Finally got seated and sat for 15 minutes and no one came over at all. Finally just got up and left. Save yourself some time and go across the highway to a restaurant called “Our Place” service and food was amazing.
I loved the food and I love the service I received from the server but my attention was caught when I saw what seemed like a manager with the name tag that said “russel” trying to touch on one of his employees. The girl didn’t even look like she has turned 17 yet and looked very uncomfortable. This made me also uncomfortable and i felt horrible having to eat there with my family. I thanked the server and gave her the tip and I will not be returning EVER AGAIN!
Dennys is one of my happy places. I ADORE Dennys. Food is fast and tasty and the service is usually really good. My boyfriend and I went to this location at 10, ordered our food the SAME time as three other, much larger, tables and didnt get our food until 40 minutes of waiting. The other tables waited maybe 10 minutes for theirs. It was not busy and our server was incredibly negligent and rude. She refused to wear a mask and brought out our food COLD! Really upsetting. So just do yourself a favor and AVOID this terrible dennys.
They stuck us in the corner and forgot about us. Took us an hour to get drinks and over 30 minutes after that to take our order. We got our food and had no silverware. We patiently waited for our waitress to walk thru again, after 10 minutes i got up and asked the hostess for silverware. Our food was already cold. Worst service ever. I love dennys but will never go back to this location
I just ordered Denny’s through DoorDash and had a not so great experience. Almost every order there was something wrong and the food was cold. I ordered the Build Your Own Slam, I paid extra for blueberry pancakes and they weren’t blueberry. My partner order the My Hammy & Cheese Omelette and his order was missing the Toast. We also ordered the French Toast Slam and the order came with no butter or syrup. And we ordered Chocolate Milk and it wasn’t Chocolate. So, I just got milk. I work in the food service industry so I understand Sunday’s can be crazy. But if I pay extra for things, I expect my order to be correct.
Understaffed and long waiting for a table and for someone to take our orders. Waitress was very nice though. My bacon was not cooked to crisp like I asked but everything else was good. I gave three stars because we spent over an hour for the entire visit. Almost got up and left but the waitress asked us to stay and that they are short staffed.
Update 9/22/19 @ 12:43amHad THE worst service here in the year weve been coming to this location. From the start, the waitress was rude and unaccommodating. We walked in and she aaid sit on this side, wherever you want, Ill follow shortly. My husband orders a slam breakfast, always substituting the sausage links for toast...saves the restaurant $ and doesnt waste food, as he doesnt like sausage. She refused to substitute...like the 30+ other times hes done it. She wasnt nice about it either...just plain rude and condescending. Her attitude was very cold and seemed as if we were an inconvenience. Ive worked customer service and hospitality for over 30 years, and I tip between 25-50% depending on the server (not the food)...she blew it. We go 2-3 times a month, if shes there again when we go back, Ill turn and walk out.Previous experiences: Clean and comfortable, great food and good service. I love Dennys, and this location has become one of my favorites!
Amazing service. We told the waitress my wife wanted her eggs browned and the kitchen staff almost sent them out normally . The waitress sent the eggs back without us having to ask her to. The food was amazing and the deals were too. Most impressive service and meal ive had in a while.

We ordered two super Grand slams. My two over easy eggs were so runny I did not eat but a bite or two. My husbands two over easy eggs were over done. I ordered extra toast and it was pretty much burnt. The pancakes were tough. Couldnt figure out how that happened. The syrup ran off of them and didnt penetrate into the pancakes. The hash browns were perfect as well as the sausage and crisp bacon. Coffee was fresh and hot. The waitress was fantastic. I want to note this Dennys had no other customers from 4-5pm when we were there. We have noticed driving by at different times of the day the parking lot is empty with the exception of one or two cars. There is a sign on the door needing cook. I really do think they need an experienced cook ASAP or this Dennys will be in trouble.
Well it was actually great we were the only customers there the whole time so the service was great the food come out fast and was well served and warm but this is only the second time Ive ever been to this Dennys would definitely go back and definitely recommend it to friends and family
Where to start, when arriving at this Franchise location my family and I were greeted in a friendly manner, or so we thought.It took 20 minutes for an employee to approach us, just to make us feel more unwelcomed. He apologized and did inform my whole family that they had to call him (The Ace) in because NO ONE wanted to wait on us. That comment made my face turn red with frustration.Who wants to hear NO ONE wants to wait on you? First off we are not from Burleson Texas, my family and I just started our family vacation.Ive learned a lot hearing the co-workers talking about this location, and Im assuming the man/and woman sitting in the booth were the managers. He or she made no apology for their employees, but when it came to the check, funny how she gets up.I can not with these people at this location.I didnt get the mans name who did wait on us, he was very patient with us, and did try to smooth things over. I am sorry he has to deal with (what seems to me grown woman) that act like children.Dear ManagementWhen hiring woman/men, (young adults) hire people who enjoy customer service, and makes your consumers feel welcomed, hire people who are not afraid to step out of there shell, if youre going based off looks; I can tell you this, youre doing this part of your job wrong.Maybe step back and look around you, talk to your customer visit tables apologize for the wait time, take responsibility, and be better.Have a great day, again sorry to the man who ended up serving us.
Server was nice and attentive. Appetizer was a bit over cooked but not inedible at all. Meal was good, well prepared. The 4 rather than 5 stars would be for the rather loud and inappropriate chatter between the servers at the counter regarding the size of each others breasts etc. Not what I care to listen to as I try to enjoy a meal with my daughter. Otherwise the place was clean and the food was good.

Door dash experience. Their ice cream machine was done, but food was already prepared and ready to go. They took care of the order changes, and I was in and out rather quickly. Only confusing part was the Burger Den part. Didnt know what that was when I was looking for it.
Absolutely horrible service! Very little people in this location but yet the service is absolutely HORRIBLE! It took approximately 20 minutes to get our drink order in and another 15 just to get it to us and that was only because I had to go hunt the manager down and ask him if we can get proper service. It wasn’t until involving the manager that we actually began getting the service we should of gotten in the first place. I rate this location a 2 because the manager was apologetic and understanding towards our frustrations but the overall experience was poor. I can understand if they were busy and overwhelmed but that was not the case during this visit.
Horrible! Wouldnt be too terrible if the staff had better attitudes. They were complaining about customers out loud! The place wasnt busy and the service was TERRIBLE! The cups were disgustingly dirty so much so a waitress yelled to the dishwasher make sure you wipe the tops of cups they keep coming back dirty. Just my experience hope others have a better one.
The food was good here but upon entering and being seated we encountered a problem.The table we were going to sit at had a thick layer of sanitizer on it so we were waiting for the hostess to get a rag so she could wipe the table down for us. We were approached by another employee who was like oh that’s just sanitizer we use to clean the tables and I was like, I understand the concept of sanitizer but we do not want to sit at a table that’s wet, regardless of what it is. She continued to argue with me for a couple of seconds then walked away. I just think that’s rude and really was none of her business since we were already being taken care of by the hostess.
The customer service is terrible they didn’t offer us silverware nor cream or sugar for my fathers coffee. My fathers coffee was cold. They didn’t bring out my toast or extra sausage that I ordered nor did they bring us our sunny side up eggs and brought us scrambled eggs that we didn’t ask for. Our food wasn’t fresh it was cold.That was the most terrible experience in my life. Never again!
I hadnt eaten at a Dennys in for ever. So we decided to stop in and check it out. They kids loved it. They got everything they had ordered. The adults went for that avocado hamburger. I ate the club sandwich. Everything tasted great. Our drink glasses were kept filled. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was at the beginning when we were seated. It was our waitress 2nd night working at this job. And a glass of coke was spilled on me. It was an accident the glass hit the chair which caused her to lose her grip on it. Other than that everything went great.
The week before wasIt a little out of my6firstthat experience. The same server was there this morning and it was a totally different experience. Last week she was friendly, outgoing, and very attentive. This week the only time I saw her was when she took my order and brought me my food. Maybe she was having a bad day. Im not sure. I am sure though I wont be back to this location. The food was great, the service stunk.
I really enjoyed my visit here. The service was pretty good. What really got me though was the menu selection. Immediately I found about 6 items that I wanted, and it took some time to choose. I ended up ordering the Bacon Gouda Burger and had them add their bourbon sauce. From first bite to last bite, the burger was amazing. So many flavors in each bite. The seasoned fries were really good as well. Definitely coming back for more.
My Family goes here quite often. Every Christmas eve for several yrs my family has get together for Dinner many of the family 5 or 6 tables. Always the people give good service. Very friendly and curious service.only one time I myself the elder of the group was last to be served when most were finished. Suggest more servers and chefs Be on hand for HolidaysMy family exspely my wife are big tippers.we know how hard they work and most can use the extra money.Thank you all and Happy New Year.
Prices were very decent! Its exactly what youd expect from a chain breakfast/lunch/dinner restaurant. Although this particular Dennys was somewhat dirty despite being a slow morning when I arrived. Although I can say the wait times were very fast! This is a place youd stop at for a quick bite with a friend or two. Nothing fancy of course, but Dennys does have quite the large and diverse menu though ranging from everything breakfast, to sizzling dinner skillets!
Waitress was okay, but food was disappointing. Manager was a fail. Expensive for what we got. Cold eggs. Like out of refrigeration cold. Bacon iffy. Afraid to send them back. Husbands omelet good. Do not order scrambled eggs. One order came with cheese and you could tell they were cold. Just gross.
Waitress was cussing and complaining the entire time we were there.4 wait staff and not a single one was efficient because they walked around visiting with each other instead of waiting on customers.The ONLY efficient staff was the one guy who cleaned the tables. We had to wait to be seated (there was hardly any people), we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food after ordering(again there was hardly anyone). There were flies inside, the menu was sticky and it seems like its severly understaffed, but understandable since the place is empty and a bit hidden. The regular fries were a bit too crispy and hard as they would serve any other Dennys, the rest of the food was okay. I give it 1 star, the waiters on staff were proffessional and super nice, but I still dont recommend going to this place, last time Ill be passing by this location.
This was the worst place I have ever eaten and if I could put zero stars I would. We had 10 people in our party, no one else in the restaurant and after an hour our order finally started coming out one order at a time. Then we had to send back one order at a time as they were wrong. After the 5th one came out wrong we told the kitchen to stop cooking we were done. I have never had this bad of an experience at any restaurant in my life. We ended up calling the manager at home and having the meal comped all except the drinks. WILL NOT EVER RETURN.
On arrival our experience was awful. A staff member named Jennifer and fully tatted was rude and inappropriate. We had 4 adults and 6 children (grand children) we asked for 2 separate tables due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She sternly denied us service because a party greater than 6. I ask for 2 tables understanding the restrictions for dine in and social distancing. She stood stern and said no we arent servicing you have a good day! I asked for management and a professional, clean cut, and softly spoken Mr. Russell came out to dissolve the discrepceny of his unprofessional employee. He welcomed us and agreed to our request of 2 tables close and in Social distancing requirements by state. He apologized as well as his unprofessional employee Jennifer made comments and would holler nonsense over him trying to accommodate us for seating. It is my other halfs birthday today and tho the experienced started rough Mr. Russell (management) and our waiter Mr. BRADY S. made the visit enjoyable. Our bill was approximately $90.00 and we tipped in cash $26.00. These are essential workers who may have just returned back to work and it is important that they get taken care of for serving folks Like Us in such a rapid busy business. I wouldnt recommend this facility in Burleson off of Alsbury and unless this is resolved for the next visitor who comes to eat. Thank you Brady for your good appearance and professionalism. You made our visit complete and smooth.
Absolutely horrible, we didnt even get shown to our seats. One of the ladies just yelled and pointed to go sit in the corner table and someone would bring you menus. It took a few long minutes before menus arrived and when they did the lady asked if anyone got our drink order. We said no. She apologized and said i dont know where she is, and proceeded to take our entire order. Waited for a good while for what we got. I watched our food go around the restaurant the lady running food didnt know what table. So she asked several people if that was their food before it got to us. My daughter ordered pancakes with bacon. It came out cold hard dry no butter or syrup. I ordered biscuits & gravy with hashbowns with onions and cheese. My gravy was horrible. Hashbrowns came out with a pile of way too many onions on top more onion than potato the eggs were hard so were the biscuits. I dont know when the check was put on the table because no one ever came back to the table. Thank goodness we didnt have to pay for that. I offered to pay for our drinks. But the manager on duty apologized and wished us a better day.
I wont lie, food was great. The thing that wasnt so great was the service.One major thing about the food is that when it was served to us almost everything was cold. A couple of our pancake were even underdone. Im assuming they were short on staff or something because we waited a long time for our food to even arrive, and for it to be cold anyway. Bet it would taste better warm.
Food prepared exactly as ordered. Server was professional and personable. In spite of how busy the restaurant was, bus-people were thorough and cleanliness was a high priority. Dennys in Burleson, TX was a very good dining experience and excellent value in relation to price. Highly recommended.
Went to Dennys for breakfast.Ask to builder your own slam. Oatmeal ,two eggs, bacon, pancake. Waitress that should not be waitress.If you do not like serving people Ok. Reason why writting this review in detail. Two bugs was on my plate. Started eating the pancakes and poured syrap onto pancake. In the run off of strap bug. Look closely it was two bugs in strap. Call the manager to him pick my plate up. He charge me for orange juice. That I did not drink. Ok, but get this paid for it gave him 10.15 for the orange juice that was 3.13. He gave me 6.67. Yes! Finish with Dennys and the week before charge me 10.00 extra. Had to call my card about that could they said they did not do the extra charge. Yes my card people return the money. Please look close at your receipt food at Dennys
No employees at register to greet or seat us when we walked in. Out of gluten free english muffins (Which is why we chose Dennys in the first place). Out of sour cream and neglected to inform me until meal was served. Didnt offer to let me choose something else. Overheard waitress telling other guests they were out of what they requested and added they were out of a lot of things. Meals were good in spite of missing parts.
I have not gone here since I was little. It still has about what I expected. A nice little place to stop and have a old style american sit down and eat. Its not a flashy establishment but its not in any way out of style. Felt like I was in an old time movie with the way some of the severs were talking with some old southern charm. At every moment I was about to ask something they answered it just before like they were reading my mind. I recommend this place if your looking for a calm time to stop and eat for a little while.
Normally a good place to eat. IHOP got our business tonight. We showed up and waited ten minutes. 2 people were eating out of our view. Not one waiter or cook. Waited for an eternity then left. Very strange to walk in....with a loud six year old and act loud to attract service that never came
Waitress caught an attitude because I had asked about my food because it definitely didnt looked like the picture at all and I know it never does but that wasnt even close if I would have known that wouldnt of ordered it.. then she told me something didnt go with it when it did had to show her on the menu but then she flat out said nothing came on the side with it. After that happened I guess she told a dishwasher guy because he came out and started saying something I couldnt even understand but we busy would you wanna go wash dishes.. like first off who does that to customers definitely never going back to this location. Both showed tremendous disrespect and ignorance. The waitress wanted to argue with me. What happened to the customer is always right?
Went with my family to have a late dinner, let’s start off with how the staff was on drugs. Ordered wings as a appetizer I bit into raw meat then they didn’t have burgers after I ordered 30 mins later! It was a horrible experience. Not to mention they had spider webs on two different booths. Don’t waste your time go spend a little more go to IHOP!!!!
The purple haired waitress refused to help us she had us sit ourselves and then she pretended to not see us and she kept sitting down other customers and gave them menus. I got up and grabbed the menus and silverware myself and a hostess decided to help us and take our orders the whole ordeal was super weird and my husband and I felt very judged we didnt understand what we had done to make the purple haired waitress refuse service to us.
If i could do a half of star i would this place used to be good its was so terrible food came out cold order was mess up from the start even the drink orders i had to ask for my kids chocolate milk a few times will never go back here again than they caught a attitude when i was asking for the manger
WTH happened to this place!?Food was eh. Or worse really, wasnt sure that was sausage and theyre was so much great in the hash browns...idek.Smelled awful in there and not just by the restrooms.Somebody splattered cream all over the tables.Wait time was long considering we were 1 of 4 patrons.Our waitress was the saving grace to this run down establishment. Definitely not her fault she was single handed.
Came in at 11 am on a Wednesday. 3 servers that I could see, may jave been another on the other side, but it looked like that section was closed down. Great service and greet until my food was dropped off. Never a check back or anything after that. Never even got a check presented to me after sitting at my table with my dirty plates and empty glasses for 30 minutes. A few tables did come in, but never more than 10 tables which is just fine for 3 servers. Being a restaurant manager, I know that the last 5 steps of service were skipped. I do hope you fix this issue, as Ive always enjoyed coming here for a breakfast or lunch.
Service & Meal were no where comparable to our previous Sunday breakfast visits. Waitress did not bring us silverware, water, coffee refill & ticket, without our requesting it. As for the kitchen, everything in our breakfast skillets was overcooked, except the eggs were freshly made!
4 years ago I have it 4 stars, today 4-24-21 I give it 1 star... The place is disgusting. Fingerprints all over the glass door handles greasy condiments on the table full of fingerprints. This place needs a real good cleaning. I didnt even wash my hands when I finished eating because I was afraid the bathroom would be so gross. Thumbs down 👎👎
The service was extremely slow, the food was not so great, and there were lots of flies landing on us and the food. I have been to Dennys many times and never has had it been as bad as this location. The server was young and the manager was not helping him at all. When I was leaving there was a group of about 10 people that had recently been seated and the manager was outside leaving the server by himself. I will never go back to this location.
Disappointed in this Dennys experience. I generally love Dennys and prefer it over IHOP but this Dennys is just SAD. First of all, it is rundown, the ceiling behind our table was coming down and the rest of the ceilings in the building look like they have leaked terribly. The bathrooms are gross and smell AWFUL. My 8 year old was literally scared to go in by herself when she is normally very self sufficient. The food wasnt all that great nor was it cooked properly. Only gave it a one because our waitress was nice and polite. Dont waste your time or money just go to Cracker Barrel.
Came here for dinner late in the evening after my daughters talent show. Service is horrible every time we come here and Managements is even worse and he looked like a tweaker! Mind you there was hardly anyone there and my server was slow and forgetful. Rather chit chat with other employees then work. Had to go up to the front just to get the ranch I ordered for my mozzarella sticks. Asked for it again when the order was delivered to my table. It took me having to pretty much get it my self.
If I could give this zero stars I would... We ordered 2 drinks a sweet tea no lemon and a Dr. Pepper with our breakfast. We got a lemon drink with a little tea in it and 2 dr. Peppers. Our pancakes came with no syrup and the hashbrowns were cold. The biscuit was doughy... Worst breakfast meal Ive had from this Dennys in years.
I just left this location. My appetizer was only half. I asked the waitress to make sure she only charges me for a half order. Instead she says she cant and asks the cook to make a new order which again was half. This was when i was ready to leave. I had to ask for my coffee and juice that came with the meal after my food was served. The lady across the dining room sent her food back cause it was wrong. Note that there was only 2 tables of people rest was empty. When i went to check out she says.. i didnt charge you for drinks. Of course you didnt. The juice and coffee came with my meal and the other drinks were water. So i proceed to tell her that and she says... oh. Then i tell her that her service was bad. I had to ask for my drinks. The food wasnt very good. And i am not happy. Instead of doing anything she says.. oh i am sorry. I used to eat here a lot. I will never go back and i will be calling tomorrow to speak to a manager. I paid over $20 bucks and it was awful
No Stars!!! We were seated and serve our drinks but they never came back thru and ask us for refills. My boyfriend never got his toast with his order and when ask another server if he could get some sauce. He just briefly brush him off and never came back us. The server came on the floor mupitle of times ask everyone else if they were okay or needed anything but never once ask us. Worst place for the service. Never gonna eat there again
Walked in and there was nobody. No waitress, only a cook. He made eye contact but didnt say a word. We sat down amd then waited. After 5 minutes another couple came in. It was obvious they knew the cook. They were carying on conversation and they were served drinks. We waited an additional five minutes before going back to the register. Again the cook made eye contact but didnt say a word. The other couple called his name and he finally said hi. I told him that we were just going to leave since we waited over ten minutes in the restaurant without even being spoken too. No wonder the place is a ghost town.
My husband and I walked in at 6:45pm, one other table in our section, no one else having a meal. 1 waitress who did try but was either slow due to the kitchen or simply not a speedy waitress.15 minutes for our coffee which was good (reason for 2 stars not 1). Husband ordered the Super Bird turkey sandwich with fries, I ordered a Grand Slam ( 2 eggs over medium, hash browns, bacon, sausage, 2 of their new buttermilk pancakes).45 minutes later we are served, the manager brought it to us. Could have nailed the now cold eggs to the wall as a warning to all they were that hard. One side of each pancake was moments from burned but not quite, so tough I had to cut the top one with a knife then pull it apart. Bacon and sausage okay but less than warm and poor hash browns - swimming in a pool of cooking oil.Husbands food poor too, fries were oily/qreasy and very salty, warm not hot. Sandwich bread toasted on grill, apparently with my hashbrowns. He took one bite and stopped.We stood up and left the food on the table. Talked the the manager, I give her credit for understanding, no argument with her. We tried to pay for coffee but she gave it to us on the house.Walked out 90 minutes after we entered and drove to Sonic Drive-In.I do not remember the last time we walked away from a table at a restaurant, there was no reason in our opinion to try and re-order. We stopped eating at this Dennys two years ago due to the poor food and service. If it is under new management then management needs to hire cooks and train the wait staff.
I walked in and the first thing I noticed was water was on the floor like a bathroom overflow. The waitress seated us in a back corner through the water and kept mentioning why she sat us in the back away from the other all white customers. Did I mention we had to walk through puddles of water. The food was ok but she gave us to go cups without lids to drink from because there were no clean glasses. Worst Dennys ever!!
Dennys food is typically okay but the service is usually awful. The last time we went in we waited 20 minutes to be seated and finally just walked out. This time was better, they were out of quite a few things as the usual but the service was mostly prompt. We never got a check back after the food was dropped off however.
We decided to stop here instead of Whataburger after listening to a local band. The food was great. My husband actually ordered ofd the senior menu and was suprised he got full. The 2 waiters were awesome. The male server had a horrible table of drunk females and he was completely professional. My husband and I love coming to this Dennys.
Went here with a group of 15 on a Wednesday night. The staff were thuggish in appearance and were quick to inform us that there was only one cook working. When informed that we were in no hurry and would be understanding the staff scoffed and stated that there was only one cook working. Taking the hint that our party was unwelcome we went across the highway to IHOP where the staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent!
Didnt get our pancakes for the lumberjack slam that hubby and I ordered..but after waiting 30 minutes for our food, didnt want to wait longer for it anyway. Dont know why we had to wait so long, it wasnt busy and there were plenty of staff standing around. Overheard the waitress tell a table the wait for food would be around 45 minutes due to only having 2 cooks on duty. Needless to say, they left without ordering...wont be going back to this location. Poor time and staff management and make sure you get all the food you pay for..
It was just OK. For Americas dinner it was disappointing. Wife and I went for breakfast and they were out of several things on the menu. When we did get our meals I had a very long hair in my hashbrowns. Didnt even get an apology or minor discount. They just remade a rush order and charged me full price.
Disgusting! The place was sticky, the tables, floors, door handles, just everything, you name it. The staff was all off doing there own thing and were very unattentive to their customers. My cup appeared dirty, I didnt even take a sip of my drink. My Philly cheesesteak omelette was awful, the steak was old and grey and the mushrooms were funky. I had to send it back, which is something Ive never had to do before. And to top it all off my husbands last bite of hash browns had a nice long hair wrapped up in it. We both are sick to our stomachs.. Luckily my toddler only had the pancakes, Im surprised they didnt mess those up as well to be honest. I will never go back to this location, and this experience might have ruined Dennys for me as a whole which is definitely unfortunate.
Service was horrible, and the actual people who were decent were yelled at for being decent. Meals were slow despite the empty joint and while the price was okay, I would just spend the extra money going to the store or McDonalds. Unless you are hellbent on saving the select few good human beings who are stuck working there.
Dennys was closed when l got there. But l did not go up there to eat. The Holy Spirit sent me to Burleson Tx.There was an elderley man sitting in his car, l ask if he wasok he said he needed a ride home. To Crowley tx. I gave him a ride , we had a nice long talk. So we came to this Dennys to eat and the acting manager told us to have a seat any where we want, we had to ask for menus. Then a white family comes in the acting manager greets them and personally escorted them to a table, gave them menus and took their drink order🤬so my mother confronted her in a respectful manner and we left.
Our server took forever to reach the table, granted we had a 6 top, so we were completely understanding until the food started to take an obscene amount of time. We then wait another 30 minutes or so for refills, still not complaining and keeping our composure, being a huge group of servers and all. Waited for our food, which did not make it out all together, still completely being understanding. Still being very polite. It comes time to get our checks and doesnt remember whatever we ordered whatsoever, so we wait for her to return, once again taking an obscene amount of time to do so, we assumed our checks were waiting up front, so we go up front and she hadnt even started to prepare our checks so, we wait. She tells us she doesnt have change and then shortly tells us she does (which is also understandable), she states she ran out of paper, so we just leave our money with the checks and she throws up her arms and loudly shouts really!?! And we came back in to let her know the money was sitting right there and that she could keep the change. Her name was Casey and she was overall scattered and kind of rude, but apologetic, but kept an attitude the whole time. So for lack of a better term, that was our last experience with Dennys.
Im from out of town and we had decided to eat here yesterday morning. To start off the morning I found food particle in my daughters drink (upon waitress serving our drinks out) she takes the drink back and brings me another one . Then as our food came out, of course more problems . I then found a hair on my plate next to my food . The waitress literally took my plate back and cleared the hair and gave me the same plate and continued to let me eat it and lied and said it was frssh!. Then 5 minutes later they bring me my corrected meal fresh and at this point I feel like I do not want anymore. I wish I could give this place less than 1 star will not return and DO NOT RECCOMNED
This place was a joke!! Went in ordered nachos and a cheeseburger, the cook came out and asked if it was alright that he did not put any meat on the nachos then he came back out and said he did not have any nacho cheese. I got shredded cheese and sour cream the burger was wrong. The bill was $31 and the waitress ask if we were going to leave a tip
Dennys is always a favorite BUT this Dennys has been a disappointment or letdown 3 or 4 times now. ALWAYS understaffed, ridiculous waits for food and waitresses cant ever seem to get things right and when they do the kitchen screws up. The last 3 or 4 times Ive been to this location someones order is screwed up. The last trip, very recently, my GFs eggs were full of eggshell and Im not talking about 1 pieces, many pieces! My GF has always gotten biscuits & gravy and that this location youre risking your health. There was sooo much salt in the gravy it made you gag. This location just needs to be shut down, or put under new management or possibly a new owner! I do NOT recommend going here!
Where do i start. This place is usually good but on this particular day i was very dissapointed. Food was great my server lisa was good to. But management the worst to talk about your employees that way is ridiculous and uncalled for. And they were talking loudy about one of our favorite servers. In frount of us. As regulars we dont need to know about company drama and employees dirty laundry. Think their corporate office needs a call too. Will NOT return to this location.
Waiter was like Houdini and didnt seem like he wanted to be there. Had to beg for coffee. Simple things like butter on toast was way inconsistent. my wifes toast was drenched in butter and mine had very little. Food was good but with only 1 waitress actually working while my waiter texted and goofed off.
Came in to Burleson for the weekend (Texas Motor Speedway). Had dinner at this Denny’s Saturday night. Wait staff was awesome. Food was very good. Exceptional service thanks to Ms. Diane. My son and two grandsons(one with a broken arm) enjoyed both service and food. Thank you again Ms Diane.
I am currently at Dennys is Burleson . Ordered almost an hour ago and no food. We are literally the only customers in the whole place. Food finally came out over an hour later. My fries were cold, so I sent them back. My burger was missing queso. Location ran out of simple ingredients (sugar, ranch). Was told by waitress we didnt want ranch because it is extremely watered down...It was horrible to say the least. I have never been to a chain and seen this kind of systematic breakdown in service and managment. Not one customer has come in to this location in two hours. NOT A SINGLE CUSTOMER. Its Saturday at dinner time.There should be RED FLAGS going up in the managers, district manager and corporate. Coming from a corporate background, this location is in serious trouble if they dont turn it around. Its obvious the managment does not have the experience and/or knowledge to fix this.All this being said, Dennys is a great chain. This is just the worst one I have EVER been to.To customer service; if you read this, as a customer we dont want free food or comps for bad service. Fix your issues or resign and let someone in who can. This location used to be extremely busy and well managed with little or no issues.Server was great.
They werent so great at seating us. It was just two of us and they told us to sit wyere we like. Sat yourselves then the server complained outloud about why we sat there if that wasnt her table. Had we been sat we wouldnt have aat where we werent supposed to. Got up and left to cracker barrel
I am blind went use wifi and drink coffee the wait staff brought a cold cup of coffee and never came back to table. When i got up to leave they said coffee was on them. I said i was not going to pay for it anyway. The service is so bad at this location they should close this store. I think i will let the blind i know to boycott dennys all over. We are people also.

Went in at 5:20am. Waitress was asleep at a booth. No cook . Had to wake up waitress by knocking on the table. Asked if there was a cook and she said yes. Ordered our food and the waitress starts cooking it after going out the front door and coming in the back. Oh hell NO! Health dept will be NOTIFIED ASAP.......Sorry couldnt give 0 stars. NEVER AGAIN !
Horrible customer service. Waited 20 minutes to be seated, and then waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. We tried to get the employees attention to see who our waitress would be and we were completely ignored. We watched as people who were seated after us got both their food and drink order taken. Needless to say we left and will not be back again.
Brandy H was our waitress and she went above and beyond to provide horrible service. She basically tried to hurry us out and the manager did little to correct her if anything he escalated the situation. Never again will I or my family set foot in another Dennys again
I Went here for breakfast the waitress was very rude I mean a simple hello,good morning,or an introduction couldnt hurt!!!.I can understand when its busy,I dont mind waiting to get my order taken,its not like I was asking for a charity meal I was going to pay for my food and Im also a generous tipper as well,just the way I was treated soon as I walked in the door was very improper, and this place could definitely use a bit of cleaning damn floors were very sticky,I will wont be returning to this location again and dont recommend any one should!!!!!!
Super slow service 1 waitress on duty. Was here 15 mins. Finley took drink order tried to order food at the same time she refused to take our food order. 10 min got our drinks took food order. Had to go get coffee pot to refill our on drinks. And she still hadnt put our order in.
Not as well kept as most Ive visited. Many tables needed bussed. Food was not as nicely presented as Im used to getting and not as tasty. With that said, the staff was very friendly and happy. Probably just a short handed day following a busy period. I may go back and give it another shot!
I was sitting across the table to the exit doors and a crowd of people got up and left. The waitress that was waiting our table then cursed F@?$ing a$$39@! Out loud. We later left due to them not having enough food and all supplies missing, horrible service. Doesnt even deserve a 1 star
Food took a little long to get and the toast was cold. The big problem came when I paid my bill and noticed that I was charged twice for coffee. I asked if they charged for refills and the reply was no.staff person that I paid said there was nothing she could do about it and her quote was sorry about that and there was no manager there and she didnt have a number to contact one.
The one in Burleson suxs. Went there for my birthday. The roof was leaking and splashing on us. Waitress never came to offer me coffee, had to yell for her to get any service and there was only four tables of customers. A lady eating two tables over from me verbaly attacked me for raising my voice to try and get the waitress for coffee. Terrible place
My experience at Denny’s was amazing my waitresses name was Nicole she was soSweet and spunky she made sure our food was delicious and she kept our drinks filled a lot of other waitresses could learn a lot about her.!Me n my husband will be returning just to see nicole

2021-08-17Service was excellent! Came in we got seated immediately. Our server KeKe was a delight, attentive, and quick. Food came out hot and delicious. The manager Justin came by all the tables made sure everyone was enjoying their experience, overall great experience. We will be back more often.

2022-05-08Shanda was our waitress, if you get her Id advise you request a different one. Started when I ordered coffee, I had to ask for cream the second time she came back, it was never offered, but I didnt think much of that. She forgot several items on both my boyfriends and my plates. We were never offered refill on our drinks, except when we were done and the plates were stacked on the table, only I was offered a refill, not my bf who had been empty since just after the food was brought. We could hear every other table around us that she had also having problems. She sat customers as tables that still had dirty dishes on them, one couple sat and watched their child eat while they waited because their food was given to someone else, and another table had food items left out as well. Finally we were asked if we need anything else so I asked for the check. She gave it to us and I pulled my card out right away and had it ready, but she walked by the table roughly 6 times in the next 10 minutes without coming to us, so we asked another waitress to take our card to pay the bill. The restaurant was not exceptionally clean, not that I expect a lot from a restaurant made for children, and I understand they were likely short staffed, but there we opportunities I saw that could have been a little cleaner. Overall, Shanda was a terrible waitress. No she was no overly busy, because she had no urgency.

2022-05-29Horrible customer service we were waiting on our drinks or to even have a waiter for 30 minutes! Then finally have a lady come up to us claiming to be a manager her name was Lexie apologizing for the wait proceeded to ask for our drinks then again waited for another 20 minutes for drinks just to have another young lady ask for our drinks again. Finally ordered our eggs come out really watery missing our toast and our appetizer we had ordered. My husband had to get up to get his own syrup while still waiting for our toasts, appetizer and napkins. We just got up to pay and she checked us out only to leave the cash register with someone else checking us out. It would be understandable if they were short staffed and a lot of customers but that was not the case at all ! This so call “manager” should be fired running a poor business and not taking the customers into consideration.

2022-05-31Waitress ,was tobe desired. Had to ask other waitress for coffee, told our waitress but did not get coffee until after we got food. Waitress did not bring food when it was ready so it was cold, silver was plastic with missing parts. Was a party pack.. ask for reg silver ware. Do not know if she was manager but the other waitress we saw them tak care of there customers.

2022-05-17Food was decent, customer service subpar. the waitress didn’t ask how we wanted our eggs, assumed we wanted them scrambled with cheese. then proceeded to loudly talk about my table, as if it was our fault she failed to ask how we wanted our eggs. overall it’s alright food, definitely won’t be returning however.

I took it back inside and they argued amongst themselves and then handed me 3 bags...The employees were more worried about placing blame on each other rather than ensuring I had what I neededI checked my own order, a second time and it was correct.

2022-06-19First thing was the girl that sat us was sitting us at a dirty table eggs and food on the booth and she never came back to clean it.We ended up seating ourselves at a other ta level.The worst part is after waiting to order and deciding what we wanted the same girl came over and said Im sorry but the wait to order our food would be 30 minutes! What???We ask why and she said the cook was behind and that he was leaving as well and closing everything down.It was like 12;30 -1 pm!We ended up just leaving and eating else where.I couldnt even write down names as BONE of them wore a name tag.Horrible experience.
