Not sure went to the service department, the parking is crazy. Almost hit by a worker speeding around. Then they closed, kept the car and didnt call, it was just a scheduled Saturday morning appointment for an oil change. I was finally able to get the service department after closing and they completed the service giving me my car so I had it for work Monday. They did a good job but need to work on customer service, communication, and parking for customers only not employee parking.
I am giving them one star only because I have to in order to leave a review. We purchased a new Ram on April 17th. I stopped in a week prior to test drive the truck. I was told they needed $500 down to hold the truck for the week until we came in to buy it. Thats fine not a big deal. We came in on the 17th of April to drive it off the lot. But after we agreed on the price and were waiting on finance our sales guy, Brandon Wiley, decided it was time to tell me about the RODENT DAMAGE under the hood.(Hindsight we should have just took our trade-in and left.) Brandon said they ordered the part and would call me when it came in to replace it. I get home and I start noticing some discrepancies with the interior and exterior of the vehicle. The windows and mirrors were dirty and had streaks all over them. There was some type adhesive on the passenger side of the windshield and some more adhesive on the tailgate. So I sent Brandon a text telling him about it and him and his manager, Rick Martinez assured me they would get my truck a full detail when I came in to get the replacement part for the RODENT DAMAGE as long as I left outstanding remarks on their survey. So I drop the truck off about two weeks later to get that part replaced, spray in bedliner, window tint and a full detail. They said they would throw in a full tank of gas and a free oil change. I get a call from Shane over at the service shop saying my truck was good to go. He said they replaced the part filled the tank and completed the full detail, window tint and spray in bedliner. I go to pick up my truck, it had been raining so I wouldnt be too upset if the exterior was a little dirty, and open up the door and the interior was dirtier than it was when I dropped it off. So I go inside the service shop and talk to Steve. His response was a big help. Steve said I dont know. Shane will call you. Then on the way home I noticed they only filled the tank to 3/4s. Shane calls and apologized and asked to bring it back for the detail. And they had to fix the tint on the passenger side window. Brought it a back a week later and picked it up today. Apparently Classics definition of a full detail differs from the rest of world. Windows and mirrors were still dirty and had the same streaks on them from the day I pulled it off the lot. The dashboard was dirty and the center consol was as well. Shane was not there again so I had to deal with I dont know Steve. I told Steve not to worry about. I gave Classic Dodge three chances and they did not make it happen. We bought a car from Classic Mazda three years ago(which was the car we traded in and was already paid off before the deal with Classic Dodge.) and we were not that impressed with them. We thought wed give Classic Dodge a chance. Boy were we wrong. I still set the bar pretty low for Classic Dodge considering their neighbors didnt impress us, but I had no idea these guys would be bringing shovels. My guess is once you buy from them and drive off the lot they got what they needed from you and they dont really care about their customers after that. I got some free oil changes from them but at this point I think I would be better off paying someone else to do them. If I could I would give them negative stars. I could have went anywhere in the metroplex to purchase a truck. I chose Classic solely on the fact that we would be putting money in the pockets of the people of the county that we reside in and those people chose to let me down.
Good place to buy a car and friendly staff, but ask for Charlie. He was our sales guy and was very easy to work with. We overheard a conversation across the aisle that had the couple walking out and their sales guy eating crow to get them to come back in. I wouldnt have come back based on what he said.
Keith Barbin with Classic of Denton encompasses what all car salesmen should strive to be. He went above and beyond to get our business moving the very mountains to accomplish his task. There should be statues in the Vatican espousing the pinnacle that Keith represents in the used car market today. Other sales people should be humbled to breath the same air as this paragon steward of salesmanship!
I really like this dealership BUT it is not perfect. They have an awesome casual straight forward sales team. The service department has decent service but my new car had some silly issues which seems like things that should not be happening. The car had some error lights during the test drive which was due to electrical issues either with the battery or I Loop system not being charged. This is something that wouldnt be a problem if they did regular checks on their cars. Also the auxiliary power outlet was not connected and I had to take it back for it to work. My experience with the finance department was bad. They were very aggressive and pushed unwanted services VERY HARD. They make you pay for a useless security etching that I did not want. I know I listed some bad things but compared to other dealers I had an overall good experience with them. I would buy from them again but definitely get my own financing.EDIT: I lowered my rating due to the targeted adds received in the mail after my purchase here.
I would never buy a vehicle again from here. Walked in and paid cash for a brand new Ram truck and have had nothing but trouble since. I took it in after about 8 months( I had only driven it 3000 miles) because it had a ticking sound when I started it. They said they checked and could find nothing wrong. A mechanic heard it the other day and said hey lady, you have an exhaust leak you might want to have it checked out. Sure enough I looked it up and found that it is a very distinguishable sound and any mechanic should have known it. I just paid $890 to fix the Active Grille Louvers that go out for no reason(but they get a tax credit for putting them on claiming it gets better gas mileage. Thats BS too) now I figure it will be about 500-600 to fix the exhaust leak. Truck just hit $50K and its a 2015! Had every service performed by dealership and has this much expensive repairs??? I will never buy another Dodge as long as I live! You would be wise not to either. You were informed.
Purchased my truck several years ago, paperwork didn’t have necessary documentation to show I had certified preowned warranty. When an issue came up with my turbo, it should have been covered. The finance manager and my service guy worked diligently to fix the paperwork retroactively so that I wouldn’t have to deal with this issue in the future, and the they were able to get the issue repaired quickly without costing me. They turned what could have been (and had started to be) an unpleasant experience into a very good example of customer service and going the extra mile. Thanks guys! I appreciate yalls team very much!
Dishonest and wasted my time. I told them clearly what car Im looking for, a sales person called and said that he spoke to the sales manager and they have the car Im looking for. We went to buy the car, they took the deposit and ran our credit and then called us next day to say that sorry we dont have the car you are looking for.
Went to inquire about some vehicle work.Service Advisor was rude and looked at me like I was smoking crack. It really appeared I was bothering him.So I left spoke to an Sakes person about ordering a New Jeep.Bought a few vehicles here. This service Advisor is making me question buying here again.
Great overall experience. Classic had the lowest prices I could find of all the dealerships in the Metroplex. They were not pushy and did not try to sell me on bunch of extended warranties, etc... When I went to sign for the Jeep, I was on short timeline, I told them I only had 15 minutes, I was done in 10 minutes. Rafael Garcia was great, he took care of me through the entire process. Id recommend requesting him if you are going to purchase through Classic.
NEW CAR SALES!!!My husband and I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ryan in Sales was amazing, he communicated everything so well along the way, we were never in the dark on the process. Chris was great with explaining the car to us, all the ins and outs and Don in Finance was incredible while working with Ryan to get us approved! All 3 guys were awesome, and you would be dumb to not go through these guys for a new Mazda...
This was absolutely BY FAR the best car buying experience I have ever had! I was referred by a friend to Classic of Denton and they truly did not disappoint! First of all, I arrived about 30-40 minutes before closing time on a Saturday; but KEITH LINDLAU was extremely courteous and professional nonetheless! He took the time to talk with me about what I was looking for and showed me everything I was interested in (Jeep Renegade) and allowed us to take a test drive even though it was so late. I am deeply appreciative of his friendly and genuine personality which allowed me to feel at ease and extremely comfortable during the scary car buying process. Everyone we dealt with that night was very courteous and professional even though we kept them there several hours past closing time! I left there a VERY HAPPY girl! I love my new Jeep Renegade! Keith continues to impress me with his excellent customer service as he has been very intuitive to my concerns and has gone out of his way to help with issues that have come up...even though the issues were mainly user error. Thank you Keith and Classic of Denton!
I am very unhappy with my experience at this place. Last week I was told my vehicle was not under warranty. After taking their word for it I had no choice but to take action and get my vehicle fixed. I needed to pass inspection, I needed my state registration tags, I work 2 jobs. I have spent close to $1000.00 in repairs. After talking to a few people and they advised me to call again they said it wasn’t under warranty if it was over 36,000 miles. My vehicle is at 33,000 because of false information was given to me all of this could have been prevented. Why didn’t they offer to see my vehicle? Why didn’t they take a look at it? Why didn’t they ask questions? Now that I have taken my vehicle to a mechanic everything is thrown out the window. The girl who answered the phone today does certainly ask how many miles is on your vehicle and was quick to say it was not covered. Who is this person? Is she certified to give out that information? What if it had been my grandmother and read the mileage wrong, what if i was tired and read the mileage wrong, why are they so quick to tell you over the phone it’s not under warranty. Customer service is so poor these days especially with these receptionists. I will never buy a car here again. I have a 2017 Jeep that couldn’t pass inspection. That’s ridiculous. Let me make sure that everyone knows that manufacturer’s warranty is only covered under 36,000 miles and don’t ever take the receptionist word for it. Carmax will soon open and well sorry to say that your business will be effected.
If you want an amazing experience to go with a great deal on your new car, make Classic your first and only stop. We went in to buy a new 100th anniversary Charger and had the pleasure of working with Chad Williams. There were no gimmicks, no hassles, and no back and forth. We got the best deal the first go round and dealing with Charlie in financing was a breeze. While we waited we got to chat with the other salesmen that would stop by, and got to know the sales manager Chris. What a great group of people who know how to run a car dealership. The whole experience took less than 2 hours and was the best car buying experience my husband or I have ever had! If you put your customers first and treat them well you will have a customer for life. I know my next car will come from Classic.
This was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. My salesman, Keith Lindlau was extremely helpful and informative and went out of his way to walk me through the process. If I learn of anyone interested in purchasing any of the vehicles Classic sells, I will definitely refer them to Keith. Your finance manager, Josh, was also very easy to work with.
Worst car dealership EVER! Bought a new Jeep here just last week. These guys screwed up at every corner and expected me to fix it. I have had the Jeep for over a week now and am still having to deal with these people because their serious lack of communication has made the entire process so slow. I will never do business with them again. I would rather pay for my first oil change than step foot on that lot again.Update:Five days after having my new car I get a call from the financing office that they forgot to get my proof of income. I told them it would take me a day or two to get my pay stub as I would have to be at work on their system to access it and print it off. They were agreeable to that. Got the pay stub to them two days later. That same day I receive a call from the company I financed my trade it through. Seems I missed a payment. Accept I didnt miss a payment, Classic never sent in the payoff for my old car when I got the new one. Here we are another five days later and my old car is STILL NOT PAID OFF!!!!! Classic has literally done every possible thing wrong in this deal! Honestly, I wish I could start over and just get my old car back. Id take it somewhere else to trade it. I just feel like its to late now and Im stuck!
My husband and I had the best experience at Classic of Denton. We went in wanting a completely different vehicle then we ended up purchasing, but the employees made the process as smooth as possible! Keith Lindlau did everything he could for us to get the best trade in value for our vehicles and attended to us as long as the process took. Josh in financing made us feel completely at home and bent over backwards to get us the lowest payment with a great interest rate. We left incredibly pleased with our purchase and felt like we had new friends. I would 100% recommend Keith and Josh and overall Classic of Denton!! 5 STAR PLACE!
Had an oil change done that was part of a package deal when I bought my truck. I informed the service manager that I was dissapointed with the dealership I got the truck from and let him know somethings that needed fixed and he didnt offer any help on those. Id like to have seen him offer assistance seeing Im well within warranty. Ill press the issue next visit and report back.
Rafael Garcia is my sales guy for life never pushy always helpful. I had this man up there for 2.5 hours after close and he had a great attitude the whole time. He had a feel of its you and me against the financial team lets get you a great price. You could tell he was there and has been there to keep his return clients. Next is my wifes car then my two daughters and I know we will be taken care of.
UPDATE: Classic did come through and arranged for the repairs to be done. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership. The problem I have is with the we owe you document. The first truck I purchased had a door ding that was supposed to be fixed by their guy that comes once a week for those repairs. Never heard back. I purchased a 2019 Ram Rebel in March of 2019. Same thing, door dings and we owe you document when signing the paperwork. I have followed-up twice with my sales guy and have yet to even get a reply! Classic Mgmt...there are several dealers closer to me than driving to Denton. With the lack of service I receive from you, those dealers will get the next opportunity.
As soon as I signed the last document, I was told I would not get to take my brand new Rubicon that day due to a recall. It certainly seemed that they waited to tell me until I signed all the papers. They said it would be three to four days, and they would make it right by giving me $100. I have yet to receive that money. After becoming very upset, they corrected the recalled part with a part designated for a different Jeep. They added heated seats and did a horrible job with the buttons. The guy in finance was nice, and the salesman was great. Its been years since Ive purchased a new car. Im so sad about what happened and that I have to look at the terribly installed buttons every single time I drive my Jeep.
Josh Spring and Classic of Denton were great to deal with. Of course as dealerships go there was some time spent but the process was straight forward and Josh made it easy for my wife and I to make decisions. He was patient with us and understood our needs. Finance (Brandon) was very nice as well and got us out the door as fast as he could. This is not like the typical dealership, sales pressure, kind of place. Relaxed and patient. And to top it off, they went out of their way to make my purchase less guilt free :)
I have been there to fix the check engine light of my car dodge journey. I met John McMurtray and promised to fix the issue. I left my car for three business days and received the call to come get my car. I drove the car for a while and the check engine light came back again. I spent $500 without fixing the issue. I went back again and asked me to buy a part only from them, when I get it from outside they will not fix my car. I also check the price outside and was way less than the price they offer me.I am really not happy nor satisfied with my experience in Classic of Denton.Thank you-
I have been looking at getting a Jeep for the past 4 months. I was working with Jason Knight at a dealership by my house and he ended up leaving. I found out he was at Classic of Denton and contacted him immediately. He KNOWS his industry on all types of cars. I love Jeeps have had them my whole life and he was very knowledgable, personable, and honest. He personally invests his time in YOU. Of course I wanted one of the 6 Wranglers that were in existence out there and he made it happen. I told him what I wanted and needed and they werent exactly the easiest to obtain. I knew what I was asking for was towards the outrageous side and they were able to accommodate. Everyone I worked with at this dealership was awesome. The Finance guy, Kenny, worked with me gave me all my options, was not pushy, and explained everything. He suggested what he thought was a good idea and when I said no that was it. I really appreciated how stress free this was. It gives me piece of mind knowing that I can call or text Jason any time with questions on my Jeep and hes prompt with getting back to me and walks me through all the technology. His heart really is in the best place, and I never want to buy a car from anyone else.
Had rockers replaced on a town and country v6 engine. Should take an experienced mechanic 2 to 4hrs to replace instead it took 10 days!! Also my windshield fluid line was broke and they were supposed to fix that at same time. Mechanic lied on paperwork that it was fixed and it wasn’t. Called us back in made my wife sit there for an hour only to tell her they didn’t have the part.Service department used to be good but now has went to s**t!!!
They took an hour and 40 mins for a simple oil change when then I asked receptionist at Mazda how much longer it was going to take she was completely unprofessional. I asked her a simple question and she was rude. She was on her cell phone while I was talking to her and she had her headphones in. Not coming back to get an oil change here.
I bought my life-long dream car, a 2011 Mustang GT, from Classic of Denton. Travis was accommodating and down-to-business. The price point was fair. Car is in good condition (so far). I took the car to Christian Brothers down the street for a pre-purchase inspection. After receiving some bad news about the cars condition from Christian Brothers, I went back to Classic of Denton to talk it over. The mechanic at Classic told me that Christian Brothers is trying to screw me over with fake problems. The mechanic at Classic of Denton lifted the car up and showed me the supposed problems that Christian Brothers found. I saw no issues, but then again, Im not an expert in car mechanics.I went ahead and bough the car.I wish that Travis would have walked me through the extra features of the vehicle (including aftermarket parts) a little better. I had to ask questions myself to figure stuff out. He was obviously wanting to get the purchase over with (as was I) but I would appreciate some more time and care placed with a potential customer spending $19.1K.I am noticing now that my A/C is not as cold as it should be. That is one of the problems that Christian Brothers supposedly tried to scam me on. They may have actually been right about a problem with the A/C. ALSO - and this is a big deal - when I got home after purchasing the car, I found the previous owners latest repair report underneath the backseat. It revealed that he had replaced the A/C compressor - exactly what Christian Brothers was warning me about.Well see how this turns out.
Rafael Garcia worked with me to find a new truck. His customer service was outstanding. I was very happy to find someone who could answer all my questions and work with me to find the perfect vehicle for my family. He was able to meet all my wifes demands...I would recommend his services to anyone in the market for a new ride.
Best car purchasing experience I have had. Negotiated the price on the Internet. Came in drove the jeep and drove out of the dealership in about an hour. There was no attempt to sell us something we didnt need or want and they worked hard to get us the exact vehicle we wanted.
I am super happy with my purchase with Classic dodge not only did I just get a great deal on my vehicle but also my monthly payments plan aren’t high at all. I liked the way the sales rep worked with me to the max to get me a great deal! I couldn’t be happier thank you.
The sales floor was fantastic....CraigBut, went for repairs and it was nothing but a huge disappointment. They had me drive to the dealership three times just to let me know the car was not fixed. Watse of times & money to me. Then since it was a manufacturing issue, I was given a rental car thats the worst on gas & made me feel like i should drop everything to bring their rental back as soon as my car was ready only to waste my time, when the problem was not fixed several times. Horrible service department in my opinion, will not be back for a purchase here again. Unfortunately, I spoke with the manager over service with no resolution to being inconveinced in this matter. They also, had to order my part for a replacement, and it arrived a week prior to them calling me to repair my car which I decided to drive until they got the replacement part in. Im sure nothing will come from this review, but wanted possible customers to know what to look forward to.....Spoke with Rick Wick (very nice man & seemed sincere to assist issue) and he is researching the issue with this car & will get back to me. I will update everyone on the results if any....he did ask if I wanted a carwash while waiting for my oil change. I will follow up with review on repairs on my 2017 Challenger & the customer service in the service department this time. 12/29/17
A terrific buying experience. Larry Terry was very professional in all of his dealings with my wife and I. The price negotiation was very fair and easy. Larry was very thorough in walking me through all of the details on the truck and its accessories. Also got an introduction to the service department!Make sure you give Larry, and Classic, a shot the next time you are in the market for a new car or truck!
This is an awesome dealership. Start to finish no pressure, and the whole experience is just fun. My sales people were Lindsay Bass and Lauren Balch and while talking to them I would also interact with others in the showroom and it was just a great experience. Lindsay took tons of time and was great on asking for help when she didnt know the answer and her and Lauren are just great to work with overall. The finance guys Josh and Brennan are low pressure and transparent and tell you what is fluff and what you might want to add or Buy and what is unnecessary. This is my second vehicle bought from them and will not be my last.
Classic of Denton is a great place to buy a vehicle. The one thing they lack is available variety on site. If you want a Ram Truck or Jeep, no problem... cars are another story. Sales people are knowledge and friendly, and will work for you if you know what youre doing. I suspect they are willing to take advantage of the less prepared, but that is the business I guess. Service here is top quality and the main reason that I do business at Classic. They have a large shop and well trained Technicians.
This is the second time I have purchased with Classic and I was not disappointed. Cameron was amazing and exceeded my expectations in service as I called to get things started before coming to the dealership. Thank you so much for helping me suprise with my husbands suprise gift!
Bought my car here about three years ago, and now doing a review. When I first notice the car I wanting he asked if I wanted to test drive it. Of course I did, he barley spoke to me, didn’t tell me how anything worked or like showed me it.He was social I could tell but could care less but he kept asking me if I wanted to buy it over and over. Then the finance guy ripped my mom and I off on our warranty (no surprise when it comes to those guys) we had to call so many people to get it fixed. Then their was a little hail damage on it and wanted to come off on the price a little but the sales guy wasn’t having it, but I was in love with the car.It was a HORRIBLE experience! Please if you’re going to buy a car here take it somewhere you won’t get ripped off and have a good experience.
When I went there in 2013 to buy a new car, they treated me so great that when I needed another car this past week, I went back. Keith Lindlau was the sales man I had this time and he set me straight and was so patient with me while I test drove 5 different cars to make sure I got what I wanted. His team also made sure to tailor my deal (a great one of course) to suit my needs and not just some numbers. I cant recommend classic enough and will for sure go there first next time Im in the market!
Avoid this dealership at all costs! Mark was my salesman and he’s a typical sales guy, he’ll talk your ear off and once you drive off won’t take responsibility for anything! They really try to sell their customer service but once you leave the dealership you’re on your own. They only fill the gas tank to halfway and they don’t detail it before you leave! This place is a joke.
Took my car in to service transmission replacement, they offer a better warranty. Was called back that day to inform me that the mechanic noticed some vibration which I didnt notice before. After further investigation it was coming from the drive shaft couplings extra $500 for repairs. A week later $5k. Then I had to bring it back because the transmission was leaking, lucky for me it was still on warranty. If it wasnt for me pointing out mistakes they made, would had cost me more $$$. I still had to do clean up work around the exhaust pipes. So, after a month Im noticed some vibration starting about 3k RPM.
Honesty, Integrity and a Great Price.I just recently purchased a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited. This vehicle has exceeded my expectations. What a great engineered vehicle and fun to drive. I really didnt know much about Jeeps other than I wanted one. Stopped by Classic of Denton Jeeps and met a sales associate named Josh Spring. After looking at the current inventory and discussing my wants and needs in a Jeep, Josh fixed me right up with exactly what I wanted. Gave me one price and stuck with that price, no haggling, ONE PRICE TT&L out the door, with his experience and knowledge of the vehicle it was a pleasure and a breeze to purchase. Love it !! Stop by and ask for Josh Spring and he will treat you as a customer and a friend. Thanks Josh and Classic of Denton.
Truly Awesome DealMy wife and I were not really in the market. Just getting maintenance/service on her 2012 Ram. Stopped in to say hello to our sales guy, Rafael Garcia. He mentioned the latest promo/rebates/deal going on this month - 20% off msrp on Ram Limited Crew Cab. Said we were not really in the market but said if he could make the numbers work we could talk. After all was said and done with the 20% off and the truly great trade-in offer on my 1 year old F150 King Ranch - we decided to buy it. We ended up with a new 2016 Ram Limited Ecodiesel for a lower monthly payment and same term as we had on the Ford King Ranch. Our payoff time frame on the new one should be identical to the old one but total paid in finances will be less.Rafaels patience with us during this deal was great! He not only explained the truck and its features but truly listened to our concerns and was able to get us a great deal! Everyone at the dealership including Anthony and the Finance guy were top notch and truly were courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and professional during the whole process.I would specifically like to say thanks to Rafael for his patience with me during this process. I was not too willing to let loose of my King Ranch and had to think about the deal overnight and into the next day before I deciding to buy.The new truck will be a great ride for my wifes commute. I get to take over her 2012 Ram Laramie Longhorn and occasionally drive our Challenger Scat Pack. This was our 3rd vehicle purchased from Classic and each time has been a great experience. Not what one would expect from the car buying process that can be so typical at other dealers.I would recommend Classic of Denton and Rafael Garcia to anyone in the market for a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram Truck!!
Good service on our Promaster. It would be good to place the service pickup location somewhere, where people dont have to wait in line in the heat or e.g. let customers wait in their vehicles and call when it is their turn. When I was there a man with a disability waited behind me and I let him go first.
I HIGHLY recommend Classic of Denton. Doug Blevins found me what I was looking for and Josh Purser got me in at the price I needed. This was my first time buying a car on my own, and everyone made it a breeze. With a honest, kind, knowledgeable owner comes a honest, kind, knowledgeable staff. Go see these guys at Classic for your car needs!!
Great experience. I came here 4 months ago just to check out a ram truck. Knowing that I was from California and that I was just looking, Josh Spring, salesman, was very helpful in explaining the features of the truck and how they handle vehicle sales for California. When I had issues finding the truck I wanted, I called Josh ,explained what I wanted, and a week later I am the proud owner of a Laramie Longorn Ram. I would highly recommend Classic.
This was the most honest and straight forward car buying experience that my husband and I have ever experienced. The guys- Markous, Josh and Chris was very helpful and really fought with banks to get us the BEST deal. Ask for Markous he was such a sweet and honest salesman will shoot you straight.. You wont be disappointed!!!!!! Thanks Classic
I just bought my 5th new truck from Classic, and my second one from Kevin Vines. If you are looking for someone that knows his trucks and is honest, Kevin is your guy. Hes my truck guy from here on out. The whole experience was great, from Kevin helping me get the right truck to Josh in the finance office working to get me the best rate. They have a customer for life!
We worked with Keith Lindlau to find one of the new, more uncommon Grand Cherokee models. Keith was very responsive and knowledgeable, and was able to find the exact vehicle we were looking for. The process was quick and professional; were happy to have the new Jeep, and equally happy with the quality of service!
I have bought a couple of vehicles from Classic of Denton and I have to say the staff has always been great. In dealing with the sales guys Anthony and Rafael to the manager Chris they are always first class. The cars are always as promised. If you want a Dodge Ram or Mazda this is the place.
Decided to try them out since they were closer than my usual repair shop. After my car was towed there (water pump was leaking pretty bad) I got a call about what needed to be done. The gentleman talked about my broken water pump and everything that needed to be done to repair it, including some new o-rings. He also said my tie rods on the front suspension needed some repair as well as some minor work on my rear passenger-side suspension. Said that the total would be around $900. So I asked him to also replace the hoses to and from my radiator (they felt soft and I wanted to do some preventative maintenance); I also hinted that it would be nice if they could cut me some slack on the labor on the hoses - I know the top hose had to come off to replace the water pump so not too much additional labor would be necessary. When all work was completed the total came to just a little over $1000. Problem was, when I finally got the car home the work-order had no mention of any suspension work at all. So I checked the car and there was no sign of any work done except for the water pump and hoses. Car is running much better now (of course) but basically I paid $1000 for a water pump and some hoses. Thats a little high; even for a dealership. But I wouldnt have agreed to it if it didnt include the work on the suspension; which they implied would be included (i.e. they never said they werent going to do it).
I had a wonderful experience buying the car however I do not recommend buying the extended warranty. They sell the preferred warranty. If you do have a problem with your car Preferred finds more ways NOT to pay for the repair. They only pay for parts based upon thier pricing list. In my opinion you end up paying $1,500 for an extended warranty that is not worth the paper it is printed on.
Classic of Denton is the best dealership Ive ever been to. JT was so helpful with finding our perfect car. All the team we worked with just went out of their way to make it happen for us. They treated us with so much respect and courtesy. Will be referring all my friends!!
Last weekend I went to test drive a few cars. I informed the salesman that I was just looking as I had just started my search and I was unsure what I wanted other than wanting a manual. I had gone on their website to see what they had available prior to going. Two of the 5 cars were unavailable to be driven (one was inside on display and the other in the service bay) in addition the salesman I was working with did not permit me to take the car on the highway. After completing the 3rd test drive the salesman all but told me because I was not purchasing that day I was wasting his time. When I left he took my information and gave me his card where again, this time in front of my friend, that it was the end of the month and unless I was coming back to buy not to come until next month as he needed to make sales. I will not be going back which is a shame as they appear to have the largest selection of manuals and they are close to m my house.
This past Monday Ive decided to trade in my Volkswagen and get a Mazda thats more practical for my needs. Before stepping foot in any dealership, I did my homework to find used values and pricing for both the CPO Mazda and my VW. When Ive arrived at the dealership, I had an idea of what theyll offer for trade, and prepared myself to haggle. What shocked me, Travis offered me exactly what I was hoping for based off KBB values without low balling or the usual car salesman tactics. I didnt expect that! Also, the price was fair and great for the Certified Pre-Owned Mazda as well. Im more than happy with the entire stress free process! Thanks again Travis!
Had a very good experience with the purchase of our 2017 Pacifica. Keith Lindlau and Josh Spring were very helpful in ordering us what we wanted and we were never pressured to add unwanted extras. Keith also kept us well informed through the assembly and delivery process, and has been quick to answer follow-up questions.
Scooter helped me with my trade in of a Jeep Wrangler to upgrade to a newer one. He was really cool and low pressure. I gave him my parameters for trading in/buying a new one, and he went to work it all out. This is my 3rd purchase from Classic of Denton and cant imagine going anywhere else.
My name is Bridget Oliphant i live in Alpine Texas, and currently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. It was one of the best experience no stress what so ever and all transactions fell through smoothly i even got then to deliver my vehicle to me. I would like to thank Alex Brown, Anthony Zerki, Chris Mueller, and Charlie Nunley for there for all their expertise ans help. If you are wanting to purchase a vehicle I would highly recommend you speak with these men. They are very polite and will do what ever it takes for you to get in the car yoy want. Thanks.
Bought a 2017 Chevy Colorado and have nothing but problems with it 8200 miles and vibrates terrible when in gear and brakes are applied take your foot off and it stops...it does it every time without fail...been in the shop 4 times within the last 2 months.. Classic will not fix it just giving me the run around!
I had a great experience at Classic Pre-Owned. After trying multiple cars, and changing my mind multiple times, I ended up with a car that I love from Bob Lipp. However, I went to Classic Mazda first and was immediately approached by Chanston. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. This kid will lie to you to make a sale without a doubt, and get your name in the system so he gets credit for the sale.Overall, Im happy with the car I purchased, I just wish I had gone directly to Classic Pre-Owned rather than wasting my time at Classic of Mazda with Chanston.
(submitted using a friends account) Own a 2008 Jeep Liberty. Been having problems with the air conditioner. Brought it the Classic Dodge and this place is in need of a tune-up. Im a 23 year old woman. I like to assume these people are competent. Theyre lacking, though I do not exactly know what. Made an appointment on Wednesday and was told to bring in my vehicle on Friday at 11:00 a.m. When I arrived I was greeted by the wrong name. Hi are you Megan! Not sure who Megan is but Classic Dodge was expecting you Friday at 11:00. Hi, No Im E*******, I made an appointment Wednesday. Bobby Butch...steer clear of this guy. He doesnt know the difference between a flywheel and a Flux capacitor. He says oh, well....reads his clipboard....okay, well itll be $139.95 for a recharge of the AC and a diagnosis of any other problems. I was okay with that...He then informed me that they were backed up and wouldnt be able to get to my vehicle until Saturday. Well great!, I thought, good thing I dont have a life. Fast forward to Saturday around 11:00. 24 hrs now that Classic Dodge has had my car. Mr. Butch, this guy and his trade school certification, informed me that I have an extended warranty and everything is covered. Labor, parts, even a rental. They know whats wrong with it. Geez, that fantastic, didnt realize I had a warranty. However, the bad news is theyll have to order a part and I cant pick up my car till Wednesday. That sucks, at least I got a rental, right?! Wrong! Sry, but were all out of rentals. Well have some more on Monday morning. Okay, I guess Ill remain without transportation from, since yesterday at 11:00, till Monday morning around 7:30. Who are these people! Thanks Bobby Buche, wait, I me.. I me.. I mean Bobby Butch! Later, about 3:00 p.m. I miss two phone calls from Classic Dodge. They close at 5 by the way. Im unable to return their call until about 4:45p.m. This is where Mr. Butch begins to inform me of how they made a mistake and that I have no warranty...Im sure only a Classic oopsy by Classic Dodge...and that the parts and labor to fix my AC...only one easy payment of $1500. This guys needs an assistant to make sure he has his pants on and a starbucks in the morning. I fain tell him no, thanks! You guys have inconvenienced me long enough. So when can I pick up my car. Well, we close in five minuets and are closed on Sundays. How does Monday morning sound. So, the rest is history. Thank God I have friends who can chauffeur me around for 72 hrs. Thanks Classic Dodge! Ill be sure not to bring my services to you nor recommend them.
Keith Lindlau Rocks! My buying process, with somewhat unique circumstances, had become lengthy and frustrating as I had gone without a vehicle for 23 days. So when Keith Lindlau entered late in the game on June 28th, he had several obstacles to overcome. He took charge, mounted each one, and immediately solved them to my complete satisfaction. His natural passion and enthusiasm for making the customer foremost coupled with his thorough knowledge of product, flexibleness, and listening skills are what I call Professional Excellence. Keith was exemplary in demonstrating extraordinary patience, integrity, a positive attitude, and willingness to do whatever necessary to get the job done and make the customer happy. I have already recommended him to others, and, if necessary, would follow him to another dealership for any future purchase. He is a definite asset to Classic of Denton!Shelia2017 silver RAM Lonestar
After shopping for two days for a CX-5 and receiving multiple offers Tareq from Classic in Denton offered an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. His service was amazing from the beginning! We communicated online and I was blunt and told him what I wanted. He took my offer and exceeded it! I couldnt refuse it so we drove across Dallas to Denton to see if he was serious. We were pleasantly surprise. Tareq offered no BS. He is a man of his word.I highly recommend Tareq from Classic Mazda. He offers AMAZING AMAZING 5 STAR customer service. NO BS!Also Don from insurance is the same way. There is no pressure from him. He was honest and very informative.GO SEE TAREQ for a no BS deal!
Had inquired about a car that I was interested in purchasing for my daughter and they had not put a price on it yet and said they would call me as soon as they got a price which would be no later than the following Monday never heard back from them so I dont recommend them at all to anybody cuz I cant do what they say theyre going to do

2022-06-24They turned off my dash camera!!! We recently took our vehicle to this location for service for some concerning noises coming from the front end. The vehicle has a forever warranty, that covers everything. To start things off, the service advisor put the wrong phone number in the account so there was a communication failure from the start. They blame a bad tire, but Discount tire says tires are all fine. When we got the vehicle back, they had put 34 miles on it. Concerned that at the current rate, that’s about $7 worth of fuel, I pulled the dash camera files. Looks like they made a trip to Whataburger (8 miles round trip), and there is a gap in video coverage on a Friday night, and the camera doesn’t pick back up until Saturday morning when we picked it up. Very SUS Denton Chrysler. Not sure there isn’t a nefarious reason a service department would disable a customer dash camera. I will never trust a vehicle in their hands again. I’ll be reaching out to FCA on this.

2022-03-23Back in early February, I began having an electrical issue that would lock up the gage cluster and transmission at random. I called to schedule a diagnostic to figure out exactly what was wrong. It took a week to diagnose the issue, another week to get and install the part. Only for the issue to continue as I drove my car home.At this point Ive spent $2,500 between the service and rental #1 and I still have a broken car.I bring it back in, ask for a loaner. Was told no loaner vehicles were available, and that enterprise had no rentals available but If I found a rental car on my own they would pay for it, (like its my problem to solve now....)Fast forward another 2 weeks, no phone calls, no updates, no communication from my service advisor. I walk in asking for the manager so that I can at least get an update on where my car is at. Was told that they were holding onto it to make sure the issue doesnt pop up again after driving. Was promised a phone call in the next few days.Another week goes by, no updates (a pattern is forming). I call the front desk, the secretary informs me that the manager will be giving me a call soon with an update. 10 minutes later the same secretary (not the service advisor or manager) informs me that my car is magically finished and ready for pick up.I drop off my rental #2, $2,500 for 3 weeks with insurance.I go to pick up my car and was told since the rental car was more than my 2nd service, I was going to have to pay for the service and then file a claim with corporate in order to get a check reimbursing me for rental #2.Well here we are 2 weeks after picking up my car and Ive received a check that only covers the time and mileage charge, not the insurance or taxes/fees.Long story short, after spending almost 7 grand and almost 2 months of my time trying to get this issue resolved Im left with more questions than answers, and a disrespectful lack of communication from this service department.Horrible service, I will not be back and recommend going somewhere else.

2022-03-21Thank you so much Denton Dodge for guiding me thru my car buying experience! This dealership is DOING IT RIGHT!! I met Keith Burbin this past Saturday at the dealership. He reminds me of Kenny Rogers, without all the surgeries. I could tell by his eyes, and the way he spoke to me with such respect, that we would work well together. He walked me from A-Z, with care and compassion. Thank you if if read this Keith. The finance manager, Jason Reese, is outstanding. He reminds me of a cross between Steven Seagal and a mob boss. Super super smart man, very informative and up front. You never had to worry about the unknown, because he explained everything. I can’t say enough great things about this dealership, but mostly about Keith, and Jason. In a world of chaos, change, and lack of compassion for others, it was so nice to have this experience. My heart is full.❤️I’ll definitely be back!

2017-02-07Was having a tire issue and went in to see Jim Garvin (who I always see and never lets me down)... he guided me back to quick lube where I met Chris Tucker and he took over from there and gave me 5 star service! He got me my replacement tire quicker than the time frame he had told me! From start to finish everything was EASY!

2017-04-18We have absolutely nothing, but wonderful things to say about our purchase with Classic of Denton! Rafael Garcia made the normally stressful and long car buying experience a pleasure. I was resistant to letting go of my cherished Honda mini van, but I have to say after driving my SRT I can see that was ridiculous :-)Rafael is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and personable. Top notch salesman and we appreciate the time he spent with us!

2018-04-10Came home with my dream car today all thanks to Jeff Trautman. He was truly a pleasure to work with, and very helping and caring! It wasn’t about just making a sale with him, he went out of his way to truly take care of me and made my very first car buying experience a memorable one! He looks out for friends and family, and treated us nothing less than family. I highly highly recommend him and encourage anyone in the market for a new car to go see him at Classic of Denton! He genuinely wanted to help me and helped me get the best deal possible. Thank you Jeff for all of your help!

2017-03-01I was in the market for a truck and had the good fortune to run into Keith Lindlau at Classic of Denton. Keith made the buying experience very easy. Keith is very knowledgeable and gave me good advice on the various options available on the Ram trucks. He helped me narrow down the choices and then was able to quickly find the exact truck I was looking for. I was extremely pleased with the great price compared to other makes I had looked at. I knew the value of the truck going in and was pleased that Keith offered me a fare price right up front which made the buying process quick and easy. The Finance guys were able to get me a below market rate and it took less than 5 minutes to complete the transaction. I couldnt be happier with Keith, the Finance guys, Classic of Denton and my new Ram Laramie Longhorn.
