So I been to the DHR clinics and I’ve waited up to 2 hours before Covid started then the tele consultation That took like 3-4 hours and like 40 min after that the MD PA or FNP would call but this was at the ECISD school based health center so I’ve never to the urgent care and to honest that is we’re I’m going to start going I got see. With in 45 min had strep and Covid test and the Provider went to my truck to check me great staff I have no complaints to give
THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Have taken my 80 yr old mother 2 times and this clinic is phenomenal.My better half got an object from hearing aid stuck in ear.Called DHR urgent care and asked if they could help. Merriam answered and was so kind and professional, told me to please hold so she could confirm with doctor if they could treat. Merriam said absolutely Doctor says he can help and we were on our way.We were in at 515 and out in an hour at 615 on a Saturday evening. Dr. was amazing and very knowledgeable. No pain at all. Thank God the valley FINALLY has 1st class care with integrity and experience.All of the staff is spot on and eager to provide care and reassurance that you are going to be ok. Oh and a big thank you to Juanita and Celina at front desk ,Monica -NP, April nurse and many others I apologize for not remembering all your names.I will definitely be returning and definitely referring all my friends and family.God bless you all.Lonnie King
Horrible! They “checked me in” to find out almost a hour later I had never been checked in. I went to “urgent care” for an emergency and was truly disappointed. Nobody other than myself was waiting to be seen. Do better for the poor people who are in worse condition than myself when I went to your care facility.
Staff was attentive and caring. Although short-handed the team at DHR Health Urgent Care took great care in assessing our symptoms. We were all tested. Results were provided in a timely matter along with the telemedicine visit. Thank you DHR Health Urgent Care for all you do!!!
I went in for dehydration, and the staff was fast, friendly and informative. They ran tests, checked for anything that could be a serious problem and got my results right away. I was able to get an IV for electrolytes and felt so much better after my visit. Highly recommend!
Took my son in on xmas eve and staff/nurses/PA were extremely helpful and did a great job taking care of us. In my opinion, this is key because we were worried for my sons condition and they helped us feel at ease.
I’ve taken my daughter here two different times for a strep test over the weekend and both visits were excellent. The staff there is very caring and attentive. I didn’t have to wait long and we got in and out. I’ve been so impressed with this clinic and am very grateful for services. Highly recommend!!
Hard to rate a place you can’t get into. Trying to avoid the extra expense of an ER visit on the weekend so I came here 6 hours before they closed and was told they weren’t taking anymore patients and to call in the morning. Called at 7am sharp and sat on hold for 40 minutes.
I love loveeeeed this place. It was super rare to find a doctor open without many patients, and that are taking in new ones! I usually got to Ashley’s but they were all full or no appointments till next week. My second choice was night clinic DT McAllen but I’d rather keep my infection that wait 3 hours to be checked on. I was lucky enough to come in when they weren’t that full. And the staff was extremely nice. Sadly can’t keep em as my primary doctor but I’ll definitely come here if I need to be seen quick. Don’t give one star cause they’re taking forever. We’re in a pandemic people, be happy theres a place willing to take you in.
They made me feel very comfortable through my visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also the clinic was nice and clean. And I liked that there was not a waiting time, they took me in right away!
Wonderful experience! No wait, friendly staff! I was so glad they had the capability of administering IV fluids/antibiotics for rehydration. I felt so much better when I left the office. Thank you for such great care!
Dr. Mario Ramirez and his staff did a tremendously amazing job with my emergency at the urgent care, on McColl, in McAllen. They made the process from beginning to end so smoothly and effortlessly. The girls in front were friendly and super helpful! They were informative about the payment and services, while showing compassion to my being in major pain. Dr. Ramírez was wonderful! He was very compassionate and helpful. The time it took me in the lobby to the time I left, it wasn’t even 45 minutes. It was quick and efficient. I left with less paid and was glad that Dr. Ramírez could help determine what was wrong with me. Way to go DHR Health; we need more doctors like Dr. Ramírez, FNP.
I just want to share the best experience I’ve ever had here in the valley! Everyone was so nice and caring especially to my two year old! Thank you all so so much for all the help you guys provided for my little one ! Thank you so much to the lovely lady in the front desk for the coloring book and DHR teddy bear! You were all so so lovely! DHR URGENT CARE YOU ROCK!
Dr. Bernal was amazing. He found what several other specialists I had been seeing did not find. Aside from that he let me steer my care as he put it and he gave great recommendations. Most of my time was spent with the doctor. Truly 5 stars
This place is the worst went with my fiance for an URGENT issue. Waited at least 2hrs and paid 160$ just so the Dr can tell us they cant treat her here and told us maybe the ER can help instead. Whats the point of calling yourselves urgent care. Thanks for nothing
They wanted to make their long wait longer by making me do another exam for them to get a refill on ringworm cream. No need to diagnose me again when its pretty evident what I have & make yalls jobs harder but ok. 🤦🏻♀️

If i could go less the one i would. Worst place ever. If you come here in need of help expect no kindness and care. Just got here and the lady in the front you can tell hates her job. Come across rude and botherd that we are there. Lady you got this job to help people not threat them as if the are a burden you can do without. So rude. I want mentione he name becuse thats not the point to hurt someone even though it sould be addressed but i would not want any family members or Friend to experience what did when in need of medical help.i came straight from the pool drenched in water made to wait 2hr in 60° temperature so cold. I am ok i hope but like the kid i am as i was in the pool with all the kids i jumped in and it was too shallow and landed on my feet. Ouch i herd cracking and pain oh my gosh. .... Ill keep you posted.....
Went in and left after waiting close to an hour there was nobody ahead of me and disappointed in going first time. I went because It was rated hight but never again. Worse place to go for medical care. Will not recommend to anyone. I have no idea why it took the receptionist 10 minutes to even greet and help me. After waiting in the empty lobby for 45 minutes I got up and left.
Urgent care here is a joke..employees have no urgency in helping you.. even when you have a negative covid result and vaccinated they make you wait in the car while you are in excruciating pain..
Finally a place that doesnt have a bunch of covid patients. According to staff symptomatic patients with Covid are seen outside and are not allowed into the facility!! THATS FANTASTIC!😁They have X-rays and give injections of some are needed. Its a Nurse Practionioner that sees you which is also great. VERY CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL AND THEY HAVE YOU OUT IN A JIFFY!hopefully this level of service will last🙄
Had such a great experience with Ms. Cadena NP. She was personable, informative, and extremely helpful. There was no wait time and the service from the whole staff was superb!! Excellent experience. 😊
I highly recommend DHR Health because staff and doctor Diana Cortinas MD are very quick. I like it because the urgent care is open late after the doctors offices are closed.
Fastest urgent care service ever! In and out in 1 hour and the staff was amazing. All I had to pay was my copay. ♥️
Was seen about 2 weeks ago. Waited very long to be seen and never even received the prescription I was told I would get. Their hours on here say 3pm open time. Very wrong! They have a sign up front saying 10am open time but on the door says 7am.

Amazing service !! I came in today (nov 26, 2020 aka Thanksgiving theyre open till mid night) they heard all my medical history and took their time with me they were very thorough in the examination and explained everything in detail! I loved my experience here ! Definitely recommended this place !
We were taken into as soon as we came in, the personnel were very kind and attentive to my son who was sick at the time. The prescription was sent to our pharmacy very quickly. Great overall service.

Very long wait for covid testing. Many cars waiting outside for over an 1 hour and no one yet to be seen. We left.
They told me I had an abnormal EKG So I rushed to the ER Where i was told my EKGS Were all normal.... Never again will I come here

I brought 2 of my kids to be seen since they are not feeling well. We were seen and taken care of by Luis.Luis is such a sweet guy and very patient with the tests for my kids; in making sure they were ready and reassuring them it would be ok.Thank you not only to Luis but to all the staff at DHR Urgent Care for all that you do. I will definitely be coming back when I or my family need care!

2022-07-28When the name of your business is urgent care speed of service is very important. We waiting 25 minutes just to have someone call to ask us about pharmacy information. Its almost as it seeing the patient is not a priority anymore. Thank God you are not the only place in town. A zero star is what you really deserve

2022-08-11Was seen and taken care of by Luis. Such a sweet guy. I was already coming in in a terrible mood due to how sick I was feeling. But by first few seconds of talking with him, my day just brightened up! He was gentle with his tests and he was a wonderful with explaining what would be happening and what doctor would be seeing me. I probably spoke more than intended but he assured me he didnt mind listening and speaking to someone who had so much to express and let out, I felt like I was in therapy😅 thank you for the experience, and Ill definitely be coming back when I need care!

2022-06-21I had to visit for a minor issue while I was traveling for work. The process was very quick and efficient. I saw Monica Hartman, APRN and was impressed with her bedside manor and efficiency. As a fellow healthcare provider, I was thoroughly impressed with my interactions at DHR Urgent Care.

2022-06-05This is the worst place to attend for medical attention!! The only attention you will receive is getting belittled and laughed at!!!!!The practitioner that attended me in a very unprofessional manner name is MONICA HARTMAN her conduct was very poor, and unprofessional, it’s a disgrace to society to have someone like her to practice in the medical field.. She acted in a very OBNOXIOUS manner when she saw what I was in the facility for, but it doesn’t end there..She laughed at my situation!! I called her out and told her I have yet to speak to her office manager, her last name should have been HARTLESS!!! Beware.. The experience I encountered was horrible!! I will NEVER return… I suggest if you have a medical emergency SKIP this place!!!it’s not worth your time.. from the beginning to end the service I received was horrible!!! This individual should be ASHAMED of herself, and should not be in practice with patients when they are at their weakest, making offensive comments and then laughing at the situation, Im pretty sure she has conducted very poorly with other patients before me and they felt to intimidated to speak out..Yesterday she just crossed the wrong women.. and I’m not finished with her yet..I’m going to make sure the appropriate protocols take into effect.. it isn’t cool to treat people this way..

2022-06-23Once they see a good insurance card, youre gonna get run through test after test . I getcha they gotta make money some kinda way, but even with good insurance, my end would have been substantial. Messed up that I have to spend the national debt of Ecuador just to get what they said I needed to begin with.

2022-06-25My wife was unwelcomed when she wanted to see the PA. She came at 9:15 pm, and the front desk told my wife that the lady in front of her was the last patient. How the front desk said it & the body language was rude & disrespectful...Very sad the he was employed in the healthcare field. No compassion...& No caring. Happened Friday night 🌉🌉

2022-09-19New Hours are great!7am-10pm weekdays and 10am-10pm on weekends make it so convenient. Staff is amazing and provide great care. I went in for ear pain and the provider took time to understand what I was feeling and to get the proper diagnosis. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful.

2022-02-01I can’t wait to write good comments for this place. I took my son to here when he was at very high fever. It didn’t take too long to wait in the situation of shortage workforce. Because people here work and coordinate well with among each other. They take care the patient very well in very good manner until at midnight if the patient having serious problem. They are responsible and work with high ethical standards. I really appreciated their taking and caring of my son. Thank you very much!
