Says they’re open till 9 o’clock at night I get there at about 820 they’re extremely rude telling me that they’re close you know the front door was open. All I said was it says 9 o’clock on the door. The guy that was having trouble talking was screaming at me manager comes out yelling tell me to get out I’m absolutely shocked at this point. Once again all I said was you’re open till nine so obviously this is a horrible establishment no integrity. Definitely not representing Texas whatsoever. Please tell me this is not a new Texas! Absolutely will never even go near that place again!
Brisket was tough and had a lot of fat. Dickies has gone downhill alot as far as food is concerned.
My #1 go-to for BBQ. Fast friendly service. Nice portions on the entrees and sides. Prices have gone up, but thats true anywhere you go these days.
They definitely need more than one person work in the front counter / and drive-thru. The food is good, and reasonably priced. I would say go up a notch on the quality of your plastic ware though because the butter was bending the knife LOL
Trying to find something for Friday night dinner, when we passed by Dickies. It was like karma. We bought some brisket sandwiches and took them home to eat. Good decision after a hard days work.
Best Dickeys in DFW. The manager Kevin is an award winning bbq chef and multi episode judge on the Celebrity Chef show. This man knows his bbq yall. Service is phenomenal!
Food good, not great. Food served via serving line, with no service to follow. Was going to tip, but told not to by employee who said any tips received are not distributed to the employees.
I drove there this evening to go to the drive-thru. No one answered me at the speaker and I wasnt able to place an order. There was one SUV in front of me, so I went ahead and pulled up thinking I might be able to order at the window. That vehicle never moved. So I backed out and drove over next door to Lisas Chicken where I was able to order quickly and got my food and less than 5 minutes. And when I pulled out to leave the vehicle was still sitting at the window, which led me to believe it was there to prevent anyone from ordering food through the drive-thru. I wont be wasting my time again going back!
Popped in for lunch yesterday and the food here hit the spot. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The brisket was delicious and with the spicy bbq sauce....heaven. They have plenty of sides to choose from but my fav is the mac & cheese. Definately coming back to this restaurant.
I came here for lunch and it was the best service I’ve ever received. The staff was very polite and professional and were very accommodating! The food was excellent in taste and presentation. 10/10 would recommend coming here !!! I will be returning here wayyyy more often 😁
I placed an online order from their website. My order was never delivered and the DoorDash person ghosted. Dickeys refused to give me a refund. So their “free delivery” cost me $40…
This is a great bbq restraunt. It is a chain but all good no complaints.
They were completely empty at 11:00 am. Food was great. The person at the meat counter was not very friendly, but the cashier was polite. When we went to leave, an employee was standing on the counter to look into the ice cream machine. Pretty sure they make step stools so their feet dont go where my plate does 🤷♀️
7 pm must be too late to get fresh food. Sandwich was more dry than expected & more fat than meat. Please have more pride in your product. Got a baked potato from there a put a month ago it was hard on the outside (I like to eat the peel when cooked correctly). SMH.

Just plain DELICIOUS.You know it.I know it.Few more bucks than a McDonalds hamburger but much higher quality of beef if You aint in a hurry like most of society today.As for me, Ill wait to eat a little better than the impatient, out-of-shape folks chewing on hockey-pucks at the fast food places.

We were very disappointed in the unfriendly atmosphere and poor service. My daughter attempted twice to order an adult 1 meat plate and kept getting served a kids meal. Portions seemed smaller than normal. Food was decent but even the ice cream machine was out of service. Overall not a very good experience.
It was a great experience I enjoyed all the food and desserts that they had to offer I would definitely recommend it very clean and organized and friendly staff I definitely see me and my family returning soon.
Never busy on Sundays when we go. The food is typical chain BBQ. We really only go because the kids eat free, we have a large family, so it is easier on the pocket book.
We been to numerous Dickeys establishments and this location by far is the WORST !!!! Horrible service 👎🏾👎🏾 The Westerner is advertised as having 2 meats cheese pickles and onions and we wanted one to go. The guy argued with us saying if we dont ask for the cheese it doesnt come on it and we have to get our own pickles and onions .... REALLY 🤔🤔 All the Dickeys we visited this location wants to make its own rules ????
Came for onion tanglers, was told, “he didn’t think he has them and to pick 2 other sides… I only wanted that, could have went some places else. So I got a Cesar salad, only she gave me a garden salad. Said she doesn’t understand English… sausage looks really old, I have never had a bad sausage at Dickey’s till today. Ice cream machine doesn’t work, couldn’t have a float… on the plus side, chicken was great and moist. Will never come back here again while in Texas. Waist of money
I ordered slice brisket sandwich macaroni okra I received chopped no bun but did get a roll my wife ordered chopped sandwich small Amoy of beef no bun. I will never go back I called tales to some e he acted like he did not care.
Brisket had to much fat, also drinks are not included. $16 for sandwich is ridiculous.
The brisket was dry and their beans tasted like they had gone bad. The chicken was okay, the kids really liked the macaroni and cheese, but everything considered we were not impressed with this location.
Terrible sliced brisket was all fat pulled pork was dry and crunchy.
Best ribs I have ever had. I know sometimes places have better ribs than other times. I have had ribs all over the USA and so far these were the best. Really good. I had them delivered to the hotel. Ribs and the mac&cheese. When the add said fall off the bone it was no joke. Great job guys.
Just paid over $40 on a pound and a half of brisket and 2 sides. The brisket was at least 50% fat . I wont be going there again.i didnt even get BBQ sauce with my order.
My girlfriend and I ordered our lunch online from the Blue Mound location. There was a minor problem with the order when we got home. I called and spoke with the GM Roberto and he was very kind and helpful. Roberto promptly delivered the missing sides to us at no charge and in addition he remade the entire order. We have not experienced exceptional customer service like this anywhere in a long time. I encourage anyone who wants really good BBQ and spectacular service to frequent this location. We will now be regulars because of Roberto. Thank you sir.
Amazing good food. They were busy so I had to wait just a bit for my food but I didnt mind. The great food was well worth the wait. Kind people who served me. Well worth the 5 stars I gave them.
Atmosphere was great customer service was better special thanks to Roberto made it a very good experience that left an impression Dickies is one of my favorite places to eat but this one in particular stood out to me great start to my day thanks again to Roberto and the Dickies crew food was fresh and amazing you could tell the staff really cared five stars Plus
This is the example of a commercial barbecue chain. The brisket had too much fat. The ribs needed a little more flavor. The sides was good. Mac and cheese and bake beans. I will try something different next time. Not impressed, hopefully its better the next go round.

I havent been to Dickeys in years and I am so glad when I went back I ended up at the Blue Mound Rd location. The food was most excellent, we will definitely be going back for our next BBQ fix. The Barbecue Ranch Bird Sandwich comes with my highest recommendation, the Baked Potato Casserole was incredible and the manager Roberto is a superb example of how to take care of customers
Went for kids eat free but still managed to spend over $40 on two meals, one drink, and one dessert. The pork was dry, green beans way too peppered, and cobbler tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for at least a few hours. Im done overpaying at dickeys.

I ordered 2 lbs of brisket and what I recieved was 2 lbs of fat. Very unhappy with the overall quality of the food served here.
Was just there last night and the food was delicious. The meat was juicy and well served.The variety of sides is amazing. Not to mention the amazing customer service they have. Met the manager, such a great young lady very nice and courteous. I am definitely going back.
I went to visit family on this side of town when my father in law and i stopped in for take out. He had a couple of strokes a while ago and when we walked in to order everyone was so paitent and helpful towards him when he placed our order. Oh yea and the food was great too!
They got nothing right on my order (which cost me $24)! My potato came with just meat and potato, no butter sour cream or cheese. My Po Boy came with just bread and meat dry (no pickle and no onion). In addition, the banana pudding was absolutely horrible, it was literally instant pudding, it didnt even have bananas in it! Ive had better banana pudding at a gas station than this place! The wait was also extremely long for a drive through and they did not give us the drink we ordered.At least the person at the window was nice. But in general, this place needs some major improvements!
I dont know if the cook/chef has changed over the past 6 months, but every time my family and friends have been there on Sundays recently there has been no regard for cutting the fat out. I dont go to buy barbecue to eat fat and theres a large percentage of it. It hasnt always been like this and its making me second think whether Ill continue to go there, despite a good track record over the years.
My husband and I usually go here but lately this restaurant has been declining in quality food. I wouldn’t go back ever again. The brisket I received consisted of mostly fat and had no seasoning. The beans and potato salad weren’t right as well. The fries were undercooked. The roll was not fresh. When I initially asked for hot link sausage I was told they didn’t have it and this was at 6pm not at 8:59p. There have been times I would go to this place and they would be closed during their posted business hours.
The food is always good in portion especially when you order their brisket, bean and frito pie. There is no long wait time and its nice calm and quiet enough for you to watch the TV while eating. I could sit in there for hours without buying any food or drink and never get disturbed. They also have a meeting room right as soon as you walk into the restaurant which is EXTREMELY convenient. They also serve free ice cream which is a plus too.I recommend this place to anyone.
The last 2 times I have gone they’ve gotten my order COMPLETELY wrong. The okra is disgusting and not cooked all the way. One time they forgot to give me okra completely. Today I ordered a two meat plate and instead got a westerner with VERY LITTLE meat. I love Dickey’s but this one has gotten horrible.
They were diffinately life savers at Thanksgiving. This year has been so weird Covid 19 and all. Holidays just kinda popped up on us. We work alot and got ourselves in a bind for dinner plans. They took orders for two family meals 2 days before Thanksgiving and had it ready the next day... And the staff polite helpful young men. Thank you all. Yall Rock!
They are fast if you are in a hurry. Today the pulled pork was lean the sauce very good the sides like pickles, butter ,sauce, etc is help yourself.
Kinda stingy with the meat, and the potato was a little dry, but overall I am pleased. They have free ice cream too, which is very nice.EDIT for visit #2:I came here after a 12 hour shift, starving and ready to eat. They close at 8:30pm and I arrive at 7:50pm to find a hand written sign on the door that says to-go only. The door was unlocked and you could go inside, but the employees just didnt want to dirty the lobby so they require you to leave. Well I left and took my business to another restaurant. Ive worked in fast food and I know it sucks, but this is your job. If you dont want to do it there are plenty of people who will take your place. This is obviously just evidence of owners and managers that dont care.

Listen people.. this used to be one of my favs but it’s been a few years since I’ve gone back. I drove through a couple of days ago and got 2 bbq sandwiches 2 sides and 2 teas. The sandwiches were half fat and grissle, barely edible and I was nervous eating there because the window was all dusty and dirty so it was crystal clear to me they weren’t following the covid CDC guidelines, either. Pitiful! After spending over $23 there, I was so disappointed! Never again..Never
Went for the first time and food was not hot to recommended temps. Ice-cream was great of course that was supposed to be cold. Wont be going back. Our meat selections werent available. Everything was wrapped and we got only brisket and sausage.
Food is ok. We have been here lots of rimes and will keep coming back, but honestly there are much better BBQ joints around. I had a loaded potato and could only eat half since the outside was so over cooked and hard. Lots of fat in the chopped beef. Even with all of that, kids eat free with adults. Free vanilla ice cream and side dishes are great. Not a cheap night out.
Brisket was good. rolls are good. Fries are good. Tea is good. Mac and cheese is terrible. Id give it a 4 or 5 star but I was totally looking forward to some mac and cheese and was let down lol. Id definitely go there again just stay away from the mac. It was my 1st time there so thats all Ive tried so far.

This place is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. when I feel like having a fair meal, this place comes instantly to my mind. very good and food and a large menu.trained staff, and great ambience. In addition to that, the expence is honest. I tell about this restaurant with pleasure.

Absolutely the worst bbq ive ever had! This place used to be decent. Nothing to brag about but nothing to complain about. Today i got sausage thay tasted like plastic and the pulled pork was at best a roiled porkchop cut into cubes. Baked beans were stright up Busch baked beans from a can.

A few months ago I was ready to have some barbecue and chose this Dickys location. I asked the man how many ribs is a typical serving and he said 3. I saw others in front of me getting them and they looked good sized so I chose the 2 meat plate (sliced brisket and ribs). He was down to the last few small ribs on the rack and those looked dry so I asked if he would get a new rack. He looked at me like I insulted him. After a moment of staring at me he turned around, pulled out another rack, removed the plastic and then cut the 3 smallest ribs to put on my plate. I told him Id prefer the other end please and he said you got your ribs. I asked if he was joking with me and he just stared. I turned around and went to the cashier and told her they could keep my plate, Im not paying for this if they wanted to be this way. She apologized and said she would fix it. she went back behind the counter and fixed the meat portions herself to the guys disapproval. I paid for the meal and sat down to eat but had deal with the guy staring at me the whole time like he was mad. I dont know what the problem was but I will not go back. Theres better barbecue restaurants that have friendly service. Thank you to the cashier who was nice.
Both the brisket and the pulled pork was about 30% fat. The side dishes tasted like other side dishes. My green beans tasted like bbq baked beans and the baked potatoe casserole tasted like green beans. They dont wash their pans. Rolls were hard and cold. The only thing decent was the tea, and that was barely that. Worst bbq place. You get better bbq at a taco shop
Its ok. Way, WAY better places to get BBQ around Cowtown. The multiple meat platters always seem like a ripoff. Its a dollar extra per meat, up to three, and I swear, its like they serve you the exact same 9oz of meat as the single meat, but now its three different meats, each weighing 3oz, and costs 2 dollars more for the exact same amount of food. Ugh.
The steady decline in food quality continues here along with the other locations. Flavor is lacking, the quality of the ingredients seems off and the food doesnt seem as fresh. The crowds are gone too so the food isnt turned over as often and sits longer.
Such nice people when I called and placed my order. They slighty messed up my last order and i didnt notice until I got home. I called to let them know, it wasnt minor so I wasnt mad I just wanted to let them know at least. To make it better the manager gave me a complimentary 1 meat plate meal that I get to use the next time I visit which will be soon. Thank you for taking care of me 😁

Worst location ever... I have been to other Dickies in DFW. Primarily the one located in Carrollton,Texas a few minutes were I work at. This location on Bluemond was by far the worst! I ordered a 3 meat plate to go. They gave 2 small ribs, less than half a sausage, and few slices of turkey. The Carrollton location ALWAYS gives a well balanced plate. Very disappointing.
I went here and the guy didnt understand what I was saying even though I speak perfectly literate English and when we pulled up to pay at the window we seen a cup of onions fall out of our bag, not a minute after the man picked up the cup and lid, put it back together and put it back in our bag. I do not eat floor onions. This is absolutely depressing to me because Ive never seen a Dickeys that wasnt clean and organized as well as never having a bad experience before this particular location. Wouldnt recommend this location but I highly recommend Dickeys in other places.
Bad customer service I tried to use a gift card and the lady she told me the computer is not working she make me pay cash but they take a credit card for the customer behind me I wonder why sell gift cards and they dont want to take it
They take to long to take your order I waited over 30 minutes for a sandwich then I drove off and it was not cooked completely the meat was still bloody they are under staffed and the two mexican guys have horrible compunction skills and bad attitudes would not refund me my money or replace my order after I told them my meat was still red and bloody this place is horrible I give it negative 0.....
Never been a big Dickies fan, but the brisket tacos were very good.
Family place food for everyone! Very clean, neat and organized. Staff were exceptional, helpful and courteous. Definitely will leave full, barbecue very good along with all of the other menu items.
Rude Management. I ordered off the menu a few weeks ago to the bar next door. The ticket was $12. I handed the guy $20 and he said thanks & Walked out. I called back over there and after 20 minutes on hold the same guy ( apparently the manager) got on the phone and said. oh we dont offer change there. What the hell? 45 minutes later he finally showed up with my change. No apologies offered. I will never order from Dickys again.

Dickeys is no longer what it used to be. I havent been in a long time. BBQ sauce was good....but the meat was horrible. All fat on my beef sandwich. My fiance got the chicken...didnt even seem fully cooked. Very dissatisfied. I will not be back.
This is the first and last time weve ever been to any Dickeys. The cole slaw smelled like ranch dressing and it was spoiled. Au gratin potatoes were HORRIBLE! The ranch dressing was spoiled as well and as far as the BBQ sauce is concerned it is ketchup based the hot was just to vinegary the sweet smelled like molasses and was just burned ketchup with spices added. Our bill was $29.50 and we did not like it at all thumbs down 👎🏼Post note: try the ketchup it tastes just like the sweet BBQ sauce NOT GOOD!
Honestly Ive had better bbq at other dickeys, even some out of state. This is Texas, the bbq had better be good, the brisket was very dry and tasteless, the sweet tea seemed to have been left out too long and was sour...
Placed a $60 order for delivery, it went through.4 HOURS LATER it still hasnt arrived. When we called this location the guy, RALPH,who answered the phone was highly unprofessional, and when asked to speak with a general manager he says, nope and hangs up the phone. Called backend none answered.
Not the same setup as other dickeys I have been to. This one is cafeteria style where u grab a tray. Paco gave me tough & fatty end pieces of brisket ., the pulled pork smelled like shyt. They ask you if you want BBQ sauce, but they dont put it in a cup or on the side . They dump it all over your food , and they use the spicy ass one as default. Not original . blew $15 bucks here , the best part was the sweet tea.

Dickeys has gone to the dogs literally. worst bbq we have ever had. the bbq was full of gristle and fat. it was like eating chewing gum. could not chew it, and almost choked trying to cram it down my throat. gave up on it, and ate a bowl of cereal. half of the meat went to the dogs. pretty bad when cereal is better than BBQ. we will never return. total rip off.

That was my last time. I ordered the large family pack. Right at $50. Some good, but most everything that was pre made was not good. The two pounds of ribs were the biggest let down. Over cooked, dry, and tough. The brisket was hardly edible without the bbq sauce. The mac and cheese. Hmmm very institutionalize tasting. Also, the jalapeno beans tasted like they were straight from a can. The dill potato salad seemed ok and is a good alternative to the standard yellow potato salad. The fried sides were freshly prepared and were piping hot and perfectly done. Those onion string things were awesome. They were very thinly sliced onions and suit my taste in onion rings perfectly. But piping hot steak fries and great onion strings are not good enough to justify going back.

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It is industrialized BBQ. If you want good BBQ in Texas, there are MANY better options. It’s clean. Food is fresh, but just not anything special.

Didnt get no chopped beef for the baked potato. No utensil. Didnt get no onion or pickle for my chopped beef sandwich. I ordered unsweet tea. I got sweet tea. Im not happy
My experience at Dickeys was not great... The employees were pretty much just disinterested, the food was lukewarm, and none of it tasted great. There are a thousand better places to get barbecue

2022-02-19I was in Fort Worth and needed a quick bite. I saw there was a Dickey’s and decided a sandwich sounded good. I went in and they were very friendly. They got me my food quickly and it tasted really fresh. The sides were piping hot too, which I like. Very good experience.

2022-05-12We placed our order at 6:30pm through Uber Eats. Our driver arrived at 7:30pm only to find this location in Fort Worth, Texas closed early again for the 3rd night in a row. This is horrible service and they should no longer be allowed to contract with Uber Eats. Loved having a group of people at my home and not being able to accommodate them. Thank you Dickies!

2022-01-04I would say that the food processing and delivery were great. The food itself was horrible. I have never been a huge fan of Dickeys but tried to give it a go anyways. My husband and I got the Norris burger along with fries and Mac n Cheese. Fries were old and hard as a rock and the burger… well I had to stop eating it a couple bits in. It was making me nauseous. My husband and I both said “probably the worst burger we’ve ever had”. Dry and sausage was HORRIBLE.
