The pictures dont really do it justice and I actually hadnt much noticed the power station before I looked at them. Lol. My daughter lives in the apts nearby and this one of my dogs favorite places in Austin. Very casual, plenty of bags, and even little dog people are chill.
I love the dog park here Ive always been fond of the atmosphere at the Domain but the dog park really hit the mark. The other dog owners are pretty friendly and all the dogs have such a great time. And got plenty of room to run and play and lots of fresh water available at any time. Plus theres a shaded area with seats for the bystanders that the puppies are forced to bring along. Highly recommended
Its a nice park and the people I have encountered there have all been very nice. Wish they had a small dog side. I have never had a problem. I just have one dog that is nervous around the bigger dogs so just prefers to hang out in anyones lap that is accepting.
It’s been couple of months now since leash free section of the park has been opened. I Tiphy‘s favorite place so far, Loving the freedom meeting socializing with people and her four-legged friends.
The water is off. Bring your own dog bowl and water. People dont pick up after thier dogs.
Super cool spot to let your pups stretch the legs and meet other dogs. Nice park, well kept and also great for meeting other humans. Love the doggy 🐕 water fountains! Small but adequate & convenient considering the location!
My pups already made some great friends in a few days lol. All the dogs and their owners are very friendly. Everyone seems to be a regular here, they know all the dogs name 🐶
It is in a good location if you live in or around the Domain. Has water & shade. The people are usually young professionals. Some are nice & some are rude, but overall, it is a good park.
Its a nice park to walk in and bring your dog. It has its downside though. You cant fly kites here and if you fly a drone you have to watch for the power station at the end of the park.
Reasonable urban Dog Park. One plus is a large open area nearby for off leash training.
Pretty big park (for being in the domain) decent sized dog park with great water access and chairs and tree cover, huge open field with small garden walking trail next to it and another hill and field that connect to private vball courts. Very well kept.
Good dog park with shade trees, comfy, beach type chairs & 2 water dispensers. It would be great if they added a little dog section, because the little dogs may get overwhelmed or trampled by the larger dogs like mine who play rough. I had to leash my big husky, so that he didnt overwhelm the tiny dogs who visited while we were there.
Great vball courts!! Well maintained. Easy to find. Nets, lines, and antennas included! Court fees are $20/ hour per court. That is such a good deal. As if that werent enough, you can be a member for $30/month and play as much as you like for free.
Newly sodded grass makes it a great place to take my dogs. It is an open field perfect for runners and fetchers with benches and chairs all over.Only down side is no separate area for small dogs
Great open area at the domain. Always has people out with their dogs playing and enjoying the day. They have a dog park that has great amenities for being a public water park (watering station, double gates, nice seating). Happy they kept this area green in the middle of the urban area.
Well maintained with a fenced in off-leash area. Most dog parents are good about picking up after pups so the grass is a nice experience.Sand court volleyball just up the hill. We love this place.
Love all of the ways they keep this dog park clean and always updated. Its been closed and under construction so that they can fix the issue with it getting muddy and needing to close when it rains.Really quality park. Really highly recommend this for both young and older dogs.
Park is over ran by dog owners. There is plenty of grass for other to enjoy a nice picnic and a fenced off section for dogs but the dog owners allow their dogs to run loose everywhere outside the fenced in area.
Great place to take your dog out! At peek hours, there are many other dogs out to socialize your dog.
My dog loves it. The project serve volleyball courts are fun. People sometimes dont pick up dog poop but thats the case anywhere. There will always be ass$&@&s.. But its a pretty quite and scenic place in the mornings during sun rise. Its very well maintained
You will almost always see dogs here. Ive never seen any aggressive dogs and Ive seen many off the leash which doesnt bother me as a dog person. The dogs seem to be very obedient. Its mostly clean, but Ive seen a few presents left behind that werent cleaned up. Its got a few lamp posts for light after dusk

Fantastic off leash area for all dogs, complete with seating, water fountains, and fresh water bowls! Plenty of dogs around for great socialization, and a great open lawn area for running around!
Off leash dog park with fence and drinking stations. Lots of dogs here at almost all times of the day. Small to big dogs welcome. Only downside is the occasional carelessness by some dog owners, when it comes to securing the gates. Never the less, still our favorite dog park in north Austin.
I love this place to have a walk and take a bit of vitamine D with the sun :)
My little sugarbutt had a blast here. They dont separate the bigs from the smalls, which is great if your dog goes both ways.

Great wide open park. Great place to take your dog or family. If you choose to bring a dog theres no fenced area but its huge enough and far from traffic
Its a nice little park, but watch out for doggie land mines. Seriously there can be a ton of poop here at times. Not much shade since it is a new park and all the trees are small.The Austin 10/20 race has had its finish line and concerts here the last few years. Its been rather nice. I walk around this park about 3 times a week, there are 2 poke stops and a gym.Worth walking around if you are already up at the domain.
Beautiful place after the updates but there are often too many dogs and owners don’t pay attention in the office leash area. I have witnessed several dog altercations and my puppy was also attacked with no owners nearby to help pull their dog off.

Its a lovely dog park, it has shade trees, water fountain bowls for the dogs, and its got airlock style gates. Its a touch hard to find from the domain shopping area though.
Great green area with lots of shops, food, and seating. There is also a playground for kids!
Plain open air park. No real amenities other than some sand volleyball courts and a dog run. There is a lighted and paved walkway through the middle for strolling.

The security officers were having a hard time getting the residents to keep their dogs on leashes. Other than that nice place to sit and enjoy the weather.

Theyve started policing the dog owners for leashes. Not really a good place anymore if you want to take your dog to socialize or go play fetch. Place looks like a ghost town without all the dogs. All they need is a fence.

We went to the tea and coffee festival here. It was the perfect amount of space. I would not do a summer festival here, it would be too hot.
Great place to escape inside the domain. Dog friendly and has a beach volleyball court. Drop in games on Friday.

It has a little space and a lawn, but its small, Central Park is small, trees are small, and the surroundings are surrounded by houses and the view is not good. Large towers and wires pass through the center of the park. A nearby person came and let dogs play, but there is no need for tourists to stop at such a dock run.

2022-07-08Power stations and transformers. Nice green space for the Domain but, much better parks can be found around Austin. Has some paved trails but, overall there is no view other than power lines. Not very big by comparison to other parks in the area. It is a nice space to stretch out after walking around or being inside all day. They do have a decent dog park and it is well kept and clean. Just has a very sterile feel to it.

2022-02-21I love the people in the dogs at this park and there is nice room for the dogs to run around. They need to fix the outer gate on the side of the dog park towards the apartments. It would also be nice if they could spray the Adirondack chairs with some kind of dog repellent spray so that they wont urinate on them. It is not safe to sit on any of the Adirondack chairs.

2022-02-27Overall a nice dog park with plenty of space for dogs to run around, there are several benches and chairs for their humans to sit. The main negative about this park is the lack of running water, there are 2 stations for humans and dogs to get water but currently the water is off, so if your dog is going run around a lot then bring your own water.

2022-04-19I like the dog park however wish there was more grass than dirt like the park at Lady Bird. Also, the dog water fountain hasnt worked in a few months and that is very bothersome, especially entering into the hotter months. they need to fix the dog water fountain.

2022-02-20Pretty solid park in the middle of the domain, its not huge, but its also decent enough size for the dogs to get some exercise and everybody there is typically alright for the most part. One of the gates just the other day wasnt on there for the double gate, hope they get it back on quick.

2020-05-17With everything going on in the world right now, this is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and safely socially distance. Pet friendly pathways and dog parks, bicycle path ways with a B station, volleyball courts, lots of open park and lined trees for picnic shade. Doing a friends picnic at the moment and each group has their own tree. Pay attention to the rules of the park and enjoy!

2017-03-27Nice to have another place to walk the dog in north Austin. Usually lots of dogs there (tons of apartments nearby), plenty of poop sacks, paved and gravel trails with lots of open grass space. My dog loves it ... there is a ton of construction going on though, so its not quiet.

2019-04-29Very beautiful park and dog park. Lovely environment and perfect for your dog and yourself after work. Dog park is very busy and filled with friendly dogs during peak hours.
