Ive been terrified to go to the dentist since my last experience at another company. My wisdom tooth had been bothering me so badly I couldnt wait why longer. Although apprehensive, Dr. Yew was very honest and helpful in going over the options with me. I will be recommending Dove dentistry to all of my friends and family and I will definitely be back. Thanks to all of you for making my experience trauma free.
Dr. Yew, and his staff Carrie, Amelinda and Denise are beyond amazing. They made me feel welcomed, and wanted to get to know me and my history with previous dentist and hygienist treatments. Dr. Yew took the time to explain to me in detail his thoughts on how to proceed with my treatment. He didnt try to upsell me on uncessary treatment. Im more than happy with my first visit and will continue to return to Dove Dentistry.
Excellent Dentist team! Office is very clean and prompt and proper care provided. We are family of 4 visiting them for years now. Dr Yew takes care of every patient personally and he genuinely cares about everyone. He is one of the few dentists who recommends only the procedure that is absolutely necessary for us. Our kids love to go to their office :)
Our whole family has been seeing Dr. Yew since moving to the area a few years ago. It is so refreshing to find a dentist and staff that are so professional yet also treat you like family. They truly care for their patients and always do such a wonderful job! The office is always extremely clean and we have felt very safe with our visits during COVID. We have definitely found our forever dentist!

I was looking for dentist since the dentist I have been with for 20 years retired last year. Friends recommended Dr. Yew and my hubby visited him first. Now I am his patient. He is very professional. I LOVE this dentist office! Their facility is always clean and the staff is extremely welcoming. Shelby, the receptionist, is friendly and helpful. Maritza is an amazing assistant and Dr. Yew is simply the best dentist around! They make you feel at home and at ease, and they even ask about my family each time I visit. Plus, their dentistry skills are top notch.I chipped my front big tooth over the weekend, called the office Monday morning, and they fit me in for an appointment same day. My tooth is not only fixed, but it looks better than it did before it was chipped. :) Dr. Yew did a phenomenal job matching the color and shape of my other big tooth and my smile has never looked better. Dr. Yew and his staff are amazing people!! The office is always kept cleaned and they sanitize like no other so you can relax and know that they care about each other and your health. My experience with Dr.Yew and his staff over the last two years makes it feel like a vacation compared to my previous dentist and I have always left feeling like I got the best treatment possible! I can’t say enough about Dove but thank you and you will not find a better dentist in Dallas.
Dr. Yew and his staff impressed me at my first visit a couple of weeks ago. Setting an appointment was easy using my mobile phone. The Hygienists worked as a team and went to great lengths to make me comfortable, help me with x-rays (I am a gagger), and used modern dentistry tools to clean my teeth. They even had a cool futuristic and cordless laser gun they used to take my x-rays.Dr. Yew himself was personable, professional, while maintaining warmth and genuineness. He didnt try to find a bunch of problems in my mouth by which he could get more revenue out of me, nor did he charge me anything above what my insurance would cover for the cleaning. His explanation of the state of the union in my mouth was thorough, explained in terms I could understand, and demonstrated his skill. All of these things are rare qualities and a refreshing change in my experience with todays high quality dentists.
Dr. Yew is a great dentist and his staff is friendly and pleasant. Dr. Yew treats me like his family and always spends extra time in explaining me procedure and he is very through at his work. Sometimes it’s a hassle for me to get to my appointments due to transportation issues and I have a few dental offices at walking distance to my house but I still prefer going to Dove density because of my awesome experiences. I feel very comfortable getting my oral care done here. Thank you for always taking good care of me.
I had a fantastic experience at Dove Dentistry. Dr. Yew and his team think of new ways to ensure that 5 star experience. My wait wasn’t long from check in to when my hygienist came and got me. Everyone was very personable and professional, and they truly look out for you as a patient. I got to catch up with the always friendly Dr. Yew. My teeth cleaning was great and thorough. My mouth felt so clean afterward and left me with more confidence in my smile - can’t wait for my next visit!
The office is very clean and inviting. The entire staff is kind, courteous and professional. It had been approximately 15 years since I last saw a dentist and my teeth really showed it. During my first consultation visit, Dr. Yew spent a surprisingly long amount of time going over every detail of the treatment that I would require. I was then provided with a comprehensive breakdown of costs. What a great impression that first appointment made! I was instantly struck by Dr. Yews honesty and demeanor. I was confident in the level of care that I would be receiving and excited to handle all of my various dental issues. I returned at the start of this new year and am currently in the midst of treatment. Dr. Yew is extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled. Everytime I leave their office I feel better and better about my smile!

Im real picky on who I would let work on my teeth and even more so during this pandemic era. To add to that, finding the right dentist is not easy. There are a lot of good dentist out there but to have one that you would elect to be your life long dentist is hard to find. I couldnt say enough positive things about Paul and his team. They are genuinely about the customer and the extra precaution they are taking is a new level of effort. Pauls concern for the patience safety during this pandemic has driven him to take measures I have never seen and are cutting edge. If your due for a visit to a dentist give Dove a try and youll find that life long dentist that is so hard to find.
I have recently just started working at Dove Dentistry and can honestly say that this is my dream job. Dr. Yew and Dr. Hsu treat me with respect and like I have been working for them for years. They have already taught me so much and continue patiently teaching me everyday. I have gotten to know the staff as well and they are a big support during work. They are very nice and help make the day AWESOME! I have had a bad experience working for another dental office (not going to say) due to the lack of respect given from the manager (the Doctors wife) and it was a dread going to work. Then, when I started working at Dove Dentistry it changed my whole mood towards my day and it has been a blessing to get to work here. Everyone is treated like family and I have never seen a better staff with the teamwork we have. Oh and I love that we have a fish tank... Its very entertaining to our office!
Everyone in the office made me feel welcome and important the moment I walked through the door. The dental hygienist was very thorough and gentle with cleaning my teeth. She made sure to listen when I told her about my sensitive tooth!Dr. Yew is honest and kind. He is an excellent listener and took extra time to sit with me and hear my worries about a tooth that has experienced trauma. Dr. Yew has many years of experience and is trustworthy - I will be back!
By far the most enjoyable time Ive had at the dentist! It was actually my husbands appointment time to get his cleaning, but since there was a cancellation, they were able to get me in. It was so convenient, pleasant, and painless. The entire staff was genuinely friendly and caring. They provided us with education on how to care for ourselves and our dental care. They also had a lot of jokes (and magic!) which made the entire experience even better. Its also a very beautiful and clean facility. A little neat bonus is that all the water they used is filtered

FOCUS on Customer Experience & Health!! ** - This was an amazing experience! Each team member did a great job, the facility was top notch, as it was clean and looked fabulous. They all provided great care through out, I had no pain at all with my cleaning, and the dentist didnt even suggest to take out my wisdom teeth like others have pushed for the past (a huge plus for me). His also did an extra scan, precautionary measures, with great explanations after. No to mention they have perks like Netflix, warm water, should you have sensitive teeth, and other services if you need them. A++

Dr. Yew and his staff are amazing! I had to get an emergency extraction during the peak of COVID lockdown. He responded quickly to my call to schedule an extraction and made sure I was informed about the procedure. I was surprised when the extraction was painless during and even after. I also had to get an implant done and everyone there made sure I was comfortable. It’s been a painless and enjoyable process. Dr. Yew and his staff go above and beyond to show that they really care about their patients!
My husband had dental work done by Dr Yew. He had a great experience with every aspect of this office! Dr Yew showed us exactly what had happened to his tooth explaining the options. Dr Yew also explained the pros and cons of each option before a final decision was made. The dental work was exceptional with no problems. This office is where he will definitely come for all his dental work in the future.
Dr. Yew and his staff are wonderful. I have all my dental work here and I would not go anywhere else. I 100% recommend this to anyone who needs a dentist. They are very easy to work with and schedule appointments. The Dr. talks you through everything to make sure that there are no surprises. He also shows you what he is doing on a screen which can help ease anxiety. The team is wonderful and Shelby is great as well. She is very helpful and wonderful to talk to. The dentist is the best for anyone who is anxious or needing any work done. And if something is wrong they will come in, even on their day off to help you. I had such a wonderful experience at Dove Dentistry. I had not been to the dentist for many years prior to my recent appointment and I had been putting a visit to the dentist off because I was scared of the pain. Im so glad that I tried Dove Dentistry. Dr. Yew is so personable and makes you feel at ease. He takes the time to explain your treatment plan, shows you pictures of the before and after, and patiently explains how to prevent future issues. During my procedure, Dr, Yew was very gentle and checked in with me frequently to see if I was feeling any pain. The day after treatment Dr. Yew personally called me to see how I was doing. It shows me that Dr. Yew truly cares about his patients and wants to ensure their satisfaction. He was even great with my son! The dental assistant, Danielle, is also very nice. She is kind and gives a great first impression of Dove Dentistry. I usually dont write reviews, but I was so pleased with Dove Dentistry that I felt like I needed to share my experience with others. Dont hesitate to give Dove Dentistry a try!
Dove dentistry is an amazing place to go! Over the years I have had extremely bad luck with dentist, until now. Dr. Yew is awesome. The staff got me in very quickly after part of my tooth chipped out. Dr. Yew walked me through what would come next. Although the thought of having a root canal made me extremely nervous, he assured me that it would go smoothly and I would basically be bored during the procedure. He was correct. I have to say it was the easiest root canal I have had. I would highly recommend Dr. Yew and his staff! Shelby and Maritza are fantastic! I have found my new dentist!

After taking wonderful care of our family for many years, our beloved dentist passed away and it was necessary to start all over again with a new dental office. Finding a new dentist was easy but establishing a new professional relationship was daunting. Unfortunately, we often learn to take what we are given and accept that mediocre is the acceptable standard of professional care; however, if you are looking for more than just good enough, it’s time to find a new dentist. It took me a few years and I suffered some poor experiences before I found Dr Yew at Dove Dental. From the moment that I entered their office and was warmly greeted by Shelby, I knew that this was going to be a better experience. Dr. Yew is incredible and has worked diligently with me for some time to treat a deteriorating condition that no other dentist that I have seen, either took the time to treat properly, or bothered to refer me to another professional who could. He and his staff have always treated me kindly, honestly, and with integrity. My concern has been there concern; they worked me in on very short notice to repair a broken tooth after I had an accident. Dove Dentistry is a stellar professional practice.
The staff and atmosphere at Dove is one of a kind. I took my two grandchildren for routine check-ups and they did an amazing job! The kids left wanting to go back. They dont usually like the dentist so that spoke voulmes for me. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for family dentistry!
I had a dental emergency late one Friday night. I saw that Dove Dentistry was open on Saturday and called when they opened the next morning hoping to get in as I was in excruciating pain. They worked me that same day. I could not be more pleased with their service and professionalism. Shelby, Danielle and Dr. Yew truly went above and beyond to take care of my root canal. They stayed after normal closing time to take care of me. Dr. Yew even went so far as to speak to our family dentist, who was out of town, over the phone. I would recommend Dove Dentistry to anyone who has a dental emergency or who is looking for an excellent, patient-centered dental practice. They are outstanding! Thank you Dove Dentistry!
Cannot speak about how much I loved my experience here! Both Dr. Yew and his staff are fantastic. He definitely listens to you, makes you feel heard, and goes well beyond what a typical dentist does to connect. Also, if its your first visit, Dr. Yew will do your cleaning; even though his staff is great, thats always an added plus. In addition to a great staff, the facilities here are great. I love Dr. Yew and his team! I am so happy that I FINALLY found a dentist that I can trust. I have had a lot of dental work done throughout the years and I have never felt comfortable in the dentist chair. One morning I woke up with a major toothache, so I looked online for a new dentist because I wasn’t happy with the one I was going to in the past. I decided to give this dentist office a try because they had five stars and amazing reviews! They were really nice and welcoming even though they had never seen me before. Unfortunately, I had to have a root canal done on the tooth which was a very painful experience because the tooth was infected and inflamed. Dr. Yew was very sweet to me throughout the entire procedure and he also took his time because he knew I was in a lot of pain. He did a great job on the tooth and he even educated me about my teeth which I found very helpful. After the procedure, he texted me to check on my well being. I have had multiple root canals and I have never had a dentist call and check on me. I really enjoy going to see Dr. Yew because I know he is trying to help me and improve my dental health. I’m so glad I found this dentist office because I’ve never been treated better by another dentist!! Thank you for everything Dr. Yew, I truly appreciate it!☺️
Cant say enough about the team at Dove Dentistry. The doctor is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Not only do they take care of your teeth they really care and take the extra time to explain everything and even educate you a little. They really make my wife and I feel very comfortable. Being as a patient who always feel nervous visiting the dentists, Dove Dentistry gave me a totally relaxed experience, from the front desk staff to the doctor. Dr. Yew made me feel like a family member of him, and explained my conditions patiently and in a way that will not make you more nervous. He only suggest you to do what you really need and necessarily need, unlike some other doctor just encourage you doing whatever can make profit. Despite the peaceful environment of the dentistry and the kindness of the staff, Dr. Yew showed me his expertise and solid knowledge and skills. Dr. Yew and his staff are the best! I recently had an implant placed there and it took all of about fifteen minutes and I barely even felt it. I was nervous at the beginning thinking it would be painful, but I woke up the next day feeling completely normal. No pain whatsoever.The whole Dove Dentistry staff is awesome and very accommodating. They are great with my two little boys also.
Dr Paul Yew is an excellent dentist! I had a root canal done and internal bleaching and the results were fantastic! My entire family (6) had our teeth cleaned. The kids felt comfortable and it was an all around great experience. The building is beautiful and clean and the staff is very friendly.If I had one complaint it would be that you dont get a toothbrush when leaving and no treasure box for the kids. Thats my kids favorite part about going to the dentist.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Paul Yew, and it was the most pleasant dentist appointment I’ve experienced in 40 years. Dr. Yew is very thorough. He wants to share his knowledge with you, which I appreciate very much. I like to know what’s going on.Dr. Yew is a pretty darn good dentist, and a good person, too. The latter is perhaps even more imporant when it comes to a doctor-patient relationship. I felt like Dr. Yew was not just treating my teeth and gums; I believe he really cares about his patients.In my first visit, I had a deep cleaning of my teeth, which badly needed it after a five-year of hiatus from any professional care since moving from Boston to the Dallas area. Dr. Yew did a three-pass cleaning, which took about 2+ hours. The next morning, I woke up with my mouth feeling extremely clean, and I had no pain. Dr. Yew also gave me some very valuable denture-related advice for my father who lives out of state and is seeking a qualified denture specialist.Many thanks to Dr. Yew and to the Dove Dentistry staff. Everyone here treats you with kindness and like you are family. There is a strong feeling of welcoming and care throughout. I have had both cleanings and my wisdom teeth procedure done here and in each visit I have felt great support and even joy in my time spent there. Amazing. First of all I was in severe pain and Dr. Paul made arrangements to see me immediately and pulled my wisdom teeth that day. Excellent doctors, all state of the art equipment, and very professional work all at such a reasonable price! Referred them to my own mom who got a few crowns and bridges and is satisfied. I recently decided that I had been ignoring my teeth and as a consequence had a number of problems which were about to become acute. I needed to prepare myself for the future.I drive past Dove Dentistry on my way to work. One day I received an advertisement with an offer of a Starbucks coffee for a visit.It seemed inevitable.They are very convenient and I like Starbucks.When I walked in I found that they have a lovely, comfortable office and a very pleasant staff.I agreed to an initial exam. They did not criticize the condition of my mouth, which I deserved, and quickly developed a plan of steps to maximize the health and usefulness of my remaining teeth.I have an unusual dental insurance plan and they were able to use it to my best advantage.They cleaned my teeth. What a difference!They extracted, very comfortably, several useless teeth to make room for a new denture.They created my denture and fitted it to my mouth. I have been wearing it daily ever since. My mouth feels undressed when I take it out. It is very comfortable.Everything has progressed as planned. No surprises.I still have room for a couple of implants when I am ready.In all cases they educated me on the possibilities, the consequences and the proper procedures for dealing with all of the events that occurred.I can recommend Dove Dentistry as a quality facility, staffed with friendly dentists and staff.10! I trust them with my health.
I absolutely love Dove Dentistry! After not going to the dentist for about 4 years due to my own fears I finally decided to give a dentist a chance. Dr. Yew and his team are absolutely amazing and since day one of stepping foot into their office I have felt at ease! He always explains things in a manner that you will understand and the compassion that he shows is what makes him awesome! I had to have dental implants done due to a couple of teeth being pulled and although I thought this procedure would be painful and nerve wrecking it wasn’t! Dr. Yew completely put me at ease through the procedure, he talked with me, sang as I hummed along and made jokes. Before I knew it I was in and out in about an hour with absolutely no pain, no swelling and didn’t even have to take pain meds after procedure. My experiences with Dove Dentistry have been the best dental experiences ever. We moved to the area from another state and from a dental practice we had used for years. My husband discovered Drs. Paul and Lisa and loved them, and I followed when I experienced tooth pain. The dentists and staff, as well as the other dentists with whom they consult, are professional, humane , thorough, kind and patient. Ive had the most interactions with Dr. Paul Yew, and I have been so impressed with the character and kindness of this man.You dont have to like the medical professionals you engage, but its an added bonus when you do. Dr. Paul and Dr. Lisa are both amazing dentists. They both work together as a Killer Dental Machine. They very thoroughly explained my current dental health to me in easy to understand terms. And they made carefully thought out suggestions with options to fit my budget. The work they did far exceeded my expectations! As in any dental procedure some type of pain is generally expected but the technique Dr. Paul uses to numb his patients is amazing. I can honestly say he is one of the most pain free dentists I have ever used. And that to me is just as important as the dental work performed. The office is spotless and the staff is polite and knowledgeable. The hours they keep are awesome considering so many of us have very little time these days. Dr. Paul and his lovely wife Dr. Lisa will be my familys dentists as long as we live in the DFW area. Couldn’t ask for a more professional staff!!!!
I highly recommend Dove Dentistry. They are AMAZING! Ive always had anxiety about going to the dentist because my jaw locks if I open my mouth too wide. Thanks to the doctors and staff at Dove Dentistry they helped me to be relaxed and allowed me to take as many breaks as I need to rest my jaw during my root canal. Dr. Paul Yew is knowledgeable in unlocking the jaw and setting it back in place which was a huge relief. The procedure was explained thoroughly. They take their time with each patient and do an EXCELLENT job! They have a beautiful office and I would not go anywhere else. I bring my 17 month old baby girl here, and i absolutely love how Dr. Paul takes care of Sophia! He is so gentle and patient with her. He shows he cares and isnt trying to rush us out the door like other places do so. My daughter had to get fillings in and we did 2 different appointments so Dr. Paul could make sure he took his time and did a great job with the help of Danielle, whish she is amazing too!! I would recommend Dr. Paul to everyone I know. Hes the best dentist Ive ever gone too.
I had a coworker refer me to Dr. Paul Yew a few years ago, and Im so thankful!!Hes outstanding, in both his knowledge and craftsmanship.Although he obviously is extremely knowledgeable and up to date on everything including current trends, he explains it in easy to understand terms and lets you decide on what youre comfortable doing. He has a great sense of humor, but is always professional and most importantly, he cares about his patients well being.I recommend him, without hesitation, every time Im asked who would be a great dentist.
I finally have a dentist I trust who is affordable, personable and professional. The first time I called Dr. Paul Yew, was after breaking my tooth on popcorn in a movie. I called their practice and he answered the phone at the office. We made an appointment for Monday. Dr. Yew gave me his cell number so that I may call him if it became painful and he would meet me at his office. Ive never experienced this kind of personal service. Yesterday, he put in two temporary crowns for me. Dr. Yew was exceptional in his attention to detail and my comfort level. Best of all, I paid about a third of the amount I expected to pay. My experience with Dr. Lisa Hsu proved her to be personable and professional as well! I would be happy to see either of them. Danielle, their assistant, is exceptional. This is truly a small practice with a family atmosphere! Im thrilled Ive found my dentist!!
The doctors and staff really take the time to explain and listen to you. They are like family and facilitate a comfortable and friendly experience. I have had a fear of getting dental work done and recently found myself in pain. Dr.Yew worked with me and explained everything as it went and calmed my concerns. By the end I couldnt believe how easy and painless he made what was a stressful situation for me. Great service and great Doctors!
Best dental experience Ive ever had. You can immediately tell that the doctors have the best interest for their clients. Office has state of the art technology, super clean, and uses a water filtering system that Ive never seen before. The local water system, believe it or not has a lot of chemicals that the doctors didnt want to be used on their patients so they invested into a water filtering system. How many dental offices pay attention to this detail? Very few from what Ive seen over the last 20 years. They spent extra time explaining a treatment plan and the cleaning was great. I highly recommend Dove Dentistry, Dr. Hsu and Dr. Yew.
Ive never come across any dentist (or other medical professional) who actually took the time to explain what was going on and detail so well what needs to be done. Dr. Yew truly cares about his patients and their long term dental health. He devotes time to educate and show problem areas with lots of before and after pictures. The last time I went to a dentist was 2 years ago, but with Dr. Yew, Im actually looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!!!
I am so glad I found Dove Dentistry! Dr. Lisa Hsu and Dr. Paul Yew are a wonderful team! They are comfortable tag-teaming and playing to each others strengths to ensure the best care for their patients. My twins and my autistic son each received the individual attention that they needed, including an extended period of explanations and treatment accommodations. Dove Dentistry thoughtfully schedules appointments to avoid long wait times, and their office staff is friendly and efficient. Their facilities are bright and clean, and they keep on hand a variety of albums and DVDs that are appropriate for all age ranges. I was actually disappointed that I dont have to go back for another six months! Highly recommended.
I have been looking for a great dentist since we moved here three years ago and I finally found one.Dr. Lisa is a genuinely happy person and thats so important because its contagious. I felt very comfortable with her and her staff. Office is very clean and high tech. Down to earth people with no foo-foo.I had cracked a tooth a few days ago and she got me in right away and made me a beautiful crown that looks so natural. And they gave me whitening for FREE... cant beat that.
Absolutely amazing! The office is very nice and clean! Dr. Yew and Dr. Hsu are truly the most caring, sincere and kind hearted people I have ever met. They care about their patients overall wellbeing not just their teeth! Dr. Yew talks you through every step that he is doing and makes you feel at ease throughout the procedure. I have been seeing Dr. Yew for several years now, and I must say he’s the most thorough dentist I’ve ever been to. This is doubly true now during the times of Covid. He’s using the latest technology and research to ensure the office and examination rooms are safe and clean. Dr. Yew’s office is the most clean place I have visited during this time.
Dr Yew is an outstanding dentist. He has an impressive depth and breadth of knowledge in the field of dentistry, his technique has been perfected with experience, he uses the latest of modern equipment, and he takes great pride in his work. I especially like the fact that he explains every procedure before it begins so I understand what were doing, why were doing it, and what to expect as we proceed. I say we because he really does make his patients feel like they are a partner in the process. I dont think anyone could find a better dentist.
I don’t do reviews very often, but I want to share my experience with Dove Dentistry, Dr. Yew and Shelby!! I had my first visit with Dr Yew for a full exam and to work out a plan for getting my teeth fixed!! Dr Yew gave me several options and I chose the plan that best fit my needs and my pocketbook! In the meantime, it seemed I would need two root canals!! Yikes!!! Dr Yew explained everything he was doing as he worked on my teeth. I felt NO pain, and I can tell you that I felt so comfortable and relaxed I found myself drifting off to sleep!! During a ROOT CANAL!! Dr Yew was that gentle.....before I knew it I was done! Truly unbelievable!!!Fast forward three months. I woke up one morning with an extremely sore and swollen mouth!! I called Shelby and was able to squeeze me in that same day at 5:15. After x-rays and examination....my tooth needed a root canal!! Dr Yew said I could make an appt for another day, or he would stay and do it now to relieve my pain! Yes, Dr Yew, his assistant and Shelby stayed late just for me to fix that tooth and stop my pain! Soft music, kind and gentle hands taking care of me....and you guessed it....I fell asleep... during a ROOT CANAL! This is the absolute truth.....I will never see another dentist....Only Dove and Dr Yew. God Bless you and your staff Dr Yew!!
Dr. Yew is excellent when it comes to treating his patients with respect and thoughtfully explains his procedures and methodology. The staff are all very warm and helpful with any questions or concerns. They are also great at getting appointments in quickly, and the practice is well run and well equipped with the high tech tools needed to deliver top notch dental care.
Dr. Yew is an incredible dentist and human being. I had to get a dental implant finished here after years of complication back home. Though it was a tricky case, he made it happen right in time before the start of spring semester. I now smile openly! He also performed a pretty tough wisdom tooth extraction on my bottom teeth that would have been a nightmare elsewhere. On top of that, I had a dental-phobia for years before I discovered Dove Dentistry. Having been handled roughly by orthodontists in the past, Dr. Yew is the exact opposite. He is gentle, thorough, and he talks you through everything thats going on in your mouth. I really love the people here, I feel blessed by GOD to go. When you do, youll see the same!

The best place ever. I went in with horrible pain from cavities, but doctor Paul didnt only help with the pain but gave me a new smile. I was amazed of how caring and detailed he was. He is the best. To make a long story short I have had extremely traumatizing experiences at dentist offices in the past. I had a tooth shoved up into my nasal cavity which had to be surgically removed. I never wanted to see a dentist again. When I came to dove dentistry I was extremely nervous but Dr. Yew has made sure to take care of every single one of my concerns. I did not feel any severe pain even though I had two wisdom teeth removed. They made me feel comfortable and now I feel like I have an extremely good dentist where I can go without being so nervous. I would recommend their office for anybody whether its a cleaning or extensive work. Dr. Yew will listen to you before doing the work and will make sure you are completely comfortable.

I looove my new dental team. Yes, I said dental team husband and wife. They made me feel like family. Dr. Paul made sure he explained everything about my treatment plan. He made sure I understood what needed to be done, and why. Also, hes was very informative as he performed all procedures. He literally talked me through everything he was doing as he did it. I will NEVER let anyone else touch my teeth. Oh, lastly you havent had your teeth cleaned until youve had them cleaned by Dr. Lisa Shes the best. Shes also very informative. I love this place. Youll be doing yourself a disservice if you were to visit another dental office. Did I mention they use top of the line dental products and filtered water. Dove Dentistry is so nice. I had a great experience from top to bottom.Dr Yew has been my dentist for 4 years near Fort Worth, and i was devastated when he left to start his own practice. but i tracked him down and make the 40 mile drive to see him in Allen. its totally worth the trip because Dr Yew and Dr Hsu are the ONLY dentists that i TRUST.
Ive been a patient at Dove Dentistry for a couple months, after having bad experiances at other offices, I took a leap of faith to try out Dr. Yew. His quality of care and attention to the patient has been outstanding compared to others in the area. Ive had to get a deep clean, root canal, and crowns done and they were done with care. He explained the x-rays and procedures in a way that I understood. He truly cares about the patients dental hygene instead of just getting me in and out of the office like other big chain dentist offices.
Ive had bad experiences with dentists in the past--particularly with the pushing of unnecessary medical procedures and with the incompetent handling of my care leading to medical issues. However, Dr. Yew was a pleasant departure from this trend. Not only were he and his staff pleasant, but his communication skills and knowledge of the intricacies of treatment far surpass those of any other dentist Ive dealt with both in this area and beyond. His efforts helped me to avoid a root canal, and his understanding of vasculature allowed me to go under anesthesia for a dental procedure without experiencing heart palpitations. Obviously, the latter is something youd expect from anywhere, but this was the first time this happened for me, which speaks to the quality of Dr. Yews care.To sum it up, Id strongly recommend Dove Dentistry to anyone. Dr. Yew is professional, skilled, and personable; his staff and facilities are fantastic as well.
The doctors at Dove are really nice and sincere. Ive been scared of getting shots ever since I was little but Dr. Hsu was so gentle and relaxing. Then, I was extremely nervous and scared about getting my wisdom teeth taken out, but Dr. Yew did such an amazing job from start to finish. They really helped me get over my life-long phobia of dental offices. Im so thankful.

This is a gorgeous office with amazing facility-- super clean office, welcoming atmosphere, high technology, and the state of art equipment. The front desk lady is very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Both doctors--Dr. Lisa and Dr. Paul are very experienced, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and friendly doctors with very gentle hands. This office uses very high quality material, even their water line filtration is double filtration system!! The staff and both doctors are really caring and honest to their patients! I love this office!! I am so glad that this office came to serve our community!
Ive been really hesitant to get my teeth cleaned these past few months because of COVID-19. But Dr. Yew told me about the safety measures he was taking to make sure his patients were safe, which convinced me to come in. And I have to say: I truly did feel really safe at my recent cleaning. They took my temperature immediately as I arrived, and I never came into contact with another patient. Dr. Yew also showed me the HoCl fogger they use to decontaminate the area after each patient. I can confidently say that Dr. Yew and Dove are definitely taking the pandemic seriously and making sure their patients are not at any risk of catching COVID-19.
The care you receive at Dove dentistry is the best I have ever experienced. When we needed to change dentist, my husband saw an ad for Dove dentistry that claimed to be christian based. My response was, “Many businesses claim to be christian based, but I never notice a difference.” Because of the convenient location, I tried it anyways. I was wrong. This place is different. Dr. Yew and his wife are different. This is truly their ministry and it shows in how they treat you like your family and love you simply because you are a human being. Not only do you get a gifted dentist, you get a man full of integrity that is determined to shine for Jesus. I love this place!
After having a tooth crack Dr. Yew explained my options and odds of success for each procedure. We decided to remove the tooth and place an implant.After a series of appointments, culminating in the final placement last Thursday, Dr. Yew replaced the tooth with an implant that is doing well! The process was relatively painless and very quick. He explained every step of the way and I fully trust him with my and my familys dental care.
Let me start by saying Im not a reviewer but after the care I received at Dove Dentistry I feel compelled to tell others. This may be a little long winded but it will let you know what to expect and what this practice does to set it above and beyond the service of others. I, like most people, am not the biggest fan of dentists and people drilling on my face. With that being said, new to Allen and a cracked tooth later, I had to find a dentist. My wife heard by word of mouth how amazing this dentist was suppose to be. I initially called and scheduled an appointment with Shelby. She was friendly, pleasant, and prompt with any questions or concerns that I had and sent me a reminder a few days before my appointment. I arrived to an immaculately clean, state of the art facility where I sat waiting for my appointment. Dr. Paul Yew came out and introduced himself personally with a friendly smile and it was an incredibly short wait before I was in the dentists chair. Danielle the assistant inquired if I wanted to watch Netflix or listen to music to make me more comfortable as she prepped for the exam. A drop down television appeared where I could selfishly catch up on a documentary that I was watching earlier in the week. She was professional, kind, and attentive. Dr. Yew sat down and spoke to me like we were old friends and did an extremely thorough exam. He even took pictures for me to view on the television screen to help me understand and help describe the plan of care that was tailored just for me. My tooth was cracked and I needed a crown. Two weeks later I was back in the chair in which Dr. Yew made absolutely sure I was comfortable every step of the way, answered all of my questions/concerns, and provided the best care I have ever received. After the fitting of my temporary crown and the deep cleaning I was contacted later that evening and the next day by Shelby and Dr. Yew to make sure I was doing well. Their overwhelming compassion and concern for a new patient speaks volumes of their integrity and who they are as people. They treated me like family. What makes it so good and why am I writing this review now? I had my permanent crown place yesterday and today Ive been having soreness.I took ibuprofen but was still concerned. I called Dove Denistry in which I had to leave a message and thought to myself I might be on my own now. In less than 10 minutes I received a personal call from Dr. Yew (On his day off mind you) to trouble shoot the pain I was having, if it was normal or not, if I needed to be seen tomorrow, and any new plans going forward to help me. He spent as much time as I needed to express my concerns and help me with my issue. I apologized for bothering him on his day off in which he responded, Dont apologize, that is what we are here for and I just want to make sure that you are ok. What makes Dove Dentistry different? Kindness, courtesy, cleanliness, compassion, integrity, technique, knowledge, application, and being treated like family just to name a few. As far as dentists go, anyone can treat you but not everyone can treat you right. This is where Dove Denistry soars and it is who I will trust with my family. SIX STAR SERVICE!
This was the best dental experience Ive ever had. Dr. Paul and Dr. Lisa are FANTASTIC! I was a bit anxious about my procedure at first, but Dr. Paul explained everything he was doing step by step and he answered all my questions. I will definitely tell my family and friends about Dove Dentistry.
I can not say enough great things about Dr. Yew. My whole family (including my kids) use him. We have never had to wait. He gets you right in as he respects his patients time. Yet he takes the time to explain things to you, making sure you understand your options. He looks for ways to save you money. This is truly a ministry for him. Dr. Shu and his team are by far the best Ive had as dentists. They got to know my family and we like to consider ourselves more like friends and not patients. They are great at what they do, and will always make you feel comfortable.
Wouldnt go again and definitely wouldnt recommend. Dr Yew refused to continue treatment under insurance because they werent paying him enough. Honestly I wouldnt have put this review for this reason because I simply changed to another dentist. The reason Im posting is that the new dentist pointed out to me -- on the X-rays -- how poor a deep cleaning the previous dentist had done. The same spots Dr Yew had pointed out as the reasons for him needing to a deep cleaning were still there. To be clear Dr Yew did the deep cleaning himself! Also note that he refused to acknowledge this issue and refund the procedure. Also worth noting that he talks way too much.
Im COMPLETELY happy with their service!!! A clean, beautiful facility with very helpful, accommodating staff.They use only the best to have you looking & feeling your best, I truly appreciate that. I was surprised that they double filter their water before introducing it to their patients. Thats awesome & says a lot about how they do business & the care they have for their patients. I haven’t been to the dentist in years and I’ve always hated to going. But, the team over at Dove Dentistry have changed my mind about that. They are all very friendly and helpful with any questions. They really care about their patients so there is no rush. They really try to make everything as comfortable and painless as possible. I will never go to another dentist. For 5 years I have been struggling with a chipped tooth that would not look good. It took years of trial and error at a previous dentist to get it fixed. When finally I was introduced to Dove Dentistry , I was able to fix my chipped tooth making it look as natural and good as ever. Dr. Yew is a great dentist that will take time with you to explain what’s going on. He also did a wisdom tooth removal several months back which healed perfectly and have had no issues since. My 4 years old son has very serous cavities. We consulted lots of the dentists and they all want put him in general anesthesia to get the treatment. Dr Yew is the only dentist would like to treat him without the general anesthesia because he said he also has kid and doesnt want him to bear any risk of stop breathing even though it is very low. Actually it is much more difficult for Dr. Yew to do this surgery since he need more hard work, bear more responsibilities and be more patient. He conduct his work with very strong ethic about what is the best treatment for patients instead of considering what is the most convenient way for him to make money. He spends lots of time communicating with us and let us know every details and the condition will happen. We have already get his half tooth done, and my son is very happy with his new tooth.
My entire adult life Ive been unhappy with my smile. Ive also had major dental problems due to bad habits growing up. In a matter of a few months, Dove Dentistry changed my life. Dr. Paul Yew formulated a plan to fix my smile and detailed every aspect of the plan. He and the staff (Shelby and Danielle) were very accommodating to my schedule, finance, pain tolerance, etc. Im so glad I chose this dental office as mine and now the rest of my family will be going there too.

It has been 3 years since my last dental visit and not surprisingly in constant pain due to my years of neglect. Dr. Yew set me on the right path to keep my teeth healthy, he would inform me of every step he would take as well take pictures of my teeth to show me where the problems were. Dr. Yews work is immaculate. Having him as a dentist I was confident that his work would always be excellent- and it always has been without fail. However, unfortunately while this is true, I can not say that his office is very organized nor transparent. He seems to always be unaware of what is going on with his front desk and in the past the lack of communication between Dr. Yew and his front desk personnel has caused problems for me. Upon my last visit with Dove, there was a misunderstanding (which stemmed from this lack of communication) upon which Dr. Yew was extremely rude to me and was just shy of yelling at me upon me inquiring about my source of confusion. To the point where those who witnessed how he had talked to me (his front desk receptionist and dental assistant) even said Im sorry hes just really really stressed today, if two other people felt the need to apologize on his behalf for how he spoke to me, theres an issue. Dr. Yew actually did me a favor by going out of his way to squeeze me in on a busy day, however in no way do I think that justifies the way that he spoke to me. I didnt want to say anything back in the moment because it was very apparent that he was aggravated and he was busy. In addition to this, I did not want to anger or him or cause him any stress as he was about to work on me. I have never been spoken to so rudely by a healthcare provider in my life. I really struggled with the decision to write this review as Dr. Yews quality of work is pristine but how I was spoken to was not okay at all. I really respect Dr. Yews quality of work but I dont care how good someones work is- it does not justify being talked down to in the manner in which I was spoken to that day, he spoke to me with immense aggression and quite honestly it felt rather degrading.
OMG! BEST dentist and office staff EVER! Needed a lot of work done and the dentist was amazing! He walked me through every step and showed me why things needed to be done and why he was doing them the way he was doing them. He took his time so things were done right and not just done. The office staff was also wonderful and kind. Thank you so much!! I will not go anywhere else!
This is definitely the dentist office I would go to everytime. The doctors are great at their job and really take the time to care for your teeth. I have never had a dentist so good at their job. Great personality. Very personable. So sincere. GO TO THIS DENTIST!

Seeing the dentist Was my greatest fear. Today that fear has diminished. I had my First cleaning today and I can’t wait to go back. I called Friday and there the receptionist was kind enough to work with me to get in that following Monday and I’m sure glad it worked out! They are so friendly and inviting and I love how informative everyone is. I’m already referring my friends to go there going forward. Thank you guys!
Dr. Yew has been my dentist since 2008 when he practiced in NY.I flew down just to see him for 3 implants which he placed in less than one hour, with no stitches and no pain.Dr. Yew is the nicest guy and one of a kind.
Paul is a great dentist with an excellent supporting staff . Built 2 new crowns for my wife and reseated an implant of mine . Did a much needed deep clean on me ,which I happily survived .Great attention to detail all at a reasonable price.
Dr. Paul provides excellent care and service. He makes sure that his patients are doing well and satisfied even long after procedures are completed. His office has the newest technology and equipment. Highly recommend this practice!
I have had the worst patient experience with this dental office. They just want to make your money and they charged you 100% upfront dental costs before the insurance claim is processed and you will only get partial refund for what the insurance paid even though the insurance policy stated its 100% covered. They said they will call you when they received the checks paid by the insurance, but they did not do it until I called the insurance to find out the check was already cleared and I had to follow-up with the office again to request the refund again. The refund process is extremely painful and you have to make numerous follow-up and take four months to get the refund. I will never come back.
My kids and I recently went to this office. The staff and the Dentist are truly above the rest! Everyone is so friendly and honest. It is refreshing to FINALLY find a dentist that actually cares about you!
Best office Ive ever been to! Dr. Paul and Dr. Lisa are both very professional and very thorough. They explained and worked with me on my dental plan and now I am set for the foreseeable future. The staff is great also!

Abandoned and disappointed. Referred to endo specialist who found nothing urgent or necessary for treatment, but follow-up for two crowns was refused by Dr. Yew via his office staff. Ive never been refused treatment from any dentist for any reason. Shame. (RESPONSE to owner): A reasonable person does not proceed with root canals when there are no symptoms. No one wants to listen to the patient and what they want. The dentist who actually ended up doing the crowns commented that xrays, as any reasonable person knows, are not the sole source of decisions. She was willing to open the tooth up and actually SEE what was going on without jumping to these dramatic treatment conclusions. You cannot look through metal on an xray. There were no massive cavities as big as my finger? How is that even anatomically possible? Ill stick to the drama in the theater and movies where it belongs, and not my dental office.
Very clean. very polite. very reasonably priced.best thing for us though is the fact that there are two doctors, one male and one female.my wife only likes to see female dentists. and i only like to see guy docs.we used to go to different offices for this reason but now we dont have to.i also like the fact that these doctors are the owners which reduces the likelihood of staff turnover. we wanna see the same doc and not start over with someone new (like alot of corporate dental offices).highly recommend.
Both doctors are amazing!it was the best experience i have ever had, they are very honest,trusthworthy,and comforting. I was always afraid of going to any dentist location until i came to Dove Denistry. I highly recommend anybody to come! you wont regret it and the results will be great!
Best place to go for your dental hygiene. Staff is awesome and friendly. Doctor really spends extra time explaining the treatment plan. I convinced my entire family to go to this place. Extra precautions taken during covid time. High recommend this place.

This place is awesome! From the time I walked in the door I felt like they truly cared. I was in pain and needed to see the doctor. Carrie made sure to get me in as soon as she could. Dr Yew explained everything in detail (because I like that). My whole family will be going here from now on.
This is my 3rd checkup at this office. I never write reviews but I have to say besides the great service, this is the ONLY Drs office in my life where I have never waited long in the waiting room. They got me in on-time EVERY visit. Dr Paul is a genuine and humble guy who never pressured me to get that broken crown fixed. But he does shoot you straight. Thanks Dr Paul.
The dentist for me was like going to a sketchy mechanic. You go in for an oil change and u come out thinking your car is going to blow up and you need a whole new engine. Not here at all!! Best dentist of my entire life. You get pure honesty. This is what you need now and this is what can wait. I didnt have that overwhelming omg how will I ever afford this and all my teeth are going to fall out feeling Ive always had going to the dentist. I will forever be excited to go to the dentist from now on.

Dr Yew is very informative, kind and spent a great deal of time making sure I understood my dental issues, choices and ramifications of the various choices in terms I can understand. I had never in all my years had a dentist do this. His office is extremely clean, and well equipped, a 5 star experience!

He made sure I felt comfortable while pregnant and gave me so many helpful tips on how to prevent underbites and issues with teeth development for kids, so helpful to know this information! I really appreciated how he spent the time to explain all details about our teeth health and history giving us so much useful knowledge. Dr Yew is enthusiastic and caring and I will be bringing my future son to see him. Him and his team are such a blessing!

2022-07-14Youll feel like family here with Dr. Yew and his whole staff. Everyone actually cares, remembers the small details that you may consider small talk, and provide excellent care as well. Dr. Yew is conversational and realistic with both his praise and concerns medically. It feels less like talking to someone spewing medical jargon to a file on a clipboard and more like a concerned family member who really wants the best for you.Cant recommend him enough!

2022-05-31I had a very bad experience here. First time we met the Dr he asked us to meet an endodonntist. In the next appointment, I told him unfortunately I had not got a chance to meet an endodontist. He raised his voice and said “Next time I won’t even talk to u…”. I am overall a calm person but he kept talking in a very bad manner that everyone there was shocked. I just left the office but have never got so offended and humiliated. Such a rude dr. Unbelievable:(

2018-12-26Dr. Yew and his staff, including Shelby! are simply the best, EVER. I dont know about some of the reviews from earlier, but Ive been a patient since spring 18, and have felt nothing but top priority and family. Honest, understanding, good listeners and very detailed oriented, my experience couldnt have been more enjoyable. Ive had my teeth cleaned twice and just finished an implant. Top notch, cutting edge technology and practice, Dr. Yew and his staff are present and on top of whats going on. Ive never looked forward to going to the dentist before, but this is one place youll keep coming back and back again.......and not only enjoy the experience, but miss not seeing them more often!

2021-08-26I have a large family and my wife and kids have been visiting Dr Yew for several years now. He has a beautiful office, friendly staff, and the cleanings are always quick and painless.A couple of things really stand out to me regarding Dr Yew.1) - no matter how busy the office is, he always finds time to check in, ask about the family, my interests, etc. Dr Yew is a genuinely good man.2) - I sincerely appreciate how candid he is about the work that should, or should not be performed. I have never felt that hes recommended any work be done without a thorough explanation of why now or why later.Ive had many dentist over the years. All have been good or we wouldnt see them again. Since moving to Allen 5 years Dr Yew has been our one and only dentist. We feel lucky to have found him. Without doubt hes the best of the best.
