I highly recommend Eagle Transmission & Auto Repair. Theyve done some fairly major repairs on our cars over the past year and a half, and theyve always completed the work quickly, and at a fair price. I recently took my 2003 Escape in for brake work, and was expecting to be out a few hundred dollars and to be without my car for a day or two. Instead, Todd told me my brakes are fine - just needed a cleaning to stop them from squeaking. That kind of honesty is rare, and I wouldnt take our cars anyplace else.
Awsome just awsome. I took in two jeeps for repair and was repaired with in two days. Other places charge crazy prices and dont fix whats broken. At eagle they take care of what the exact problem is at a more that fair price. Im sure youve read other auto shops review and maybe they are good reviews too, but dont waste your time or money anywhere else Eagle transmission will be the best decision youll ever make. I am now a life long customer and will only go to Eagle to service my rides.
Very unprofessional. Took 3 weeks to tell me my transfer case was not repairable that I took off and took in my self. Then they lost my transfer case adapter and are now saying that I didnt bring the adapter in with it. I will never do business or recommend this company to anyone.
UNETHICAL, POOR QUALITY ..I paid 1895.00.00 for a transmission that was never replaced. Filters, pans, seals were never replaced. Fluids still dirty, never replaced. Torn off dashboard after claiming they found out there was an electrical issue, and admitting to not be qualified to work on electrical, left dash disassembled and never put back together. When I finally found a mechanic to do a full diagnostic work up which took 30 mins, and only cost me 45.00, and they pulled some research with matching VIN #s in addition to pulling parts off the vehicle to show that nothing had been replaced. I have pictures, and all fluids, old parts and statements to prove this case. The old transmission is still in there. Now, I need to find an attorney, to file fraudulent charges, unethical business practices. Including notifying BBB. I have NEVER fallen prey to such a thing, but this shop is dishonest, unethical, and I appreciate all Social Media platforms that I can use to expose these types of Auto Mechanic Thieving Schemes. Along with the network I have in the Colleyville, Bedford, Ft. Worth area. Eagle Transmission does not deserve to be or stay in business within our community.
What a great place. It started with a call. Dave the manager was honest, straightforward, and most of all personable. When I stepped into the shop. Dave told me exactly what to expect with the transmission inspection, and when to expect it. All promises were kept (How many mechanic shops do that?). Prices were reasonable and fair and what I was told. I think what impressed me the most was being told to come back in 15 days for a check up. Basically, the work was done timely and correctly,The customer service was excellent and Dave showed that he really cares for his customers. As far as Im concerned, not only will I go back for any transmission issues I have on my vehicles, I will bring them to Eagle Colleyville for all of my vehicle repair needs.
Todd and his guys do outstanding work, and are just good down-to-earth people. They know what theyre talking about, very informative. Good bang for your buck. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good honest transmission repair shop.
These guys were able to diagnose the issue with my car quickly and perform the work within the time discussed. Really good feeling of no bait and switch like many times in car repairs. I will definitely bring my cars to this shop going forward and will recommend to all!!
Have been using Eagle Transmission for many years and have always been pleased with the service. (Its also nice being recognized when I stop in or call for a repair.) Over the years with a combination of 8 vehicles, they have not only changed transmission fluid, but changed an axle, repaired brakes, and performed engine tune ups. Today, I brought them my F150 which had the #7 cylinder misfiring. Todd and his crew found that it was a stuck fuel injector and since they had changed they plugs about 10,000 miles before, didnt charge me anything for this additional work. I will continue to be a long-time and loyal customer here! Great work and customer service.

Eagle Transmission is a “no nonsense, get the job done right” company. I brought my 2007 Yukon in and it needed a new rear end. Todd and the staff did an amazing job of setting expectations and providing a solid warranty on their work. Price was very competitive and the job was done quickly. My Yukon rides as good as new. Very pleased with Eagle Transmission.
Todd at this location has impressed me to no end. I am a Master ASE technician with an L1 certification in Houston Texas and had a friend of mine break down at a school function at the Fort Worth convention Center. I contacted David, which used to run this shop, and he assured me that Todd would take care of the problem promptly and fairly. Boy am I impressed!!! Not only did they have his truck towed in a timely fashion, but they understood that he was in a bind and repaired the truck in a very reasonable time frame and the cost was EXTREMELY fair!!! Kudos to Todd and David from another Eagle shop!!! GREAT people!!! This isnt the first time that David has helped me get my out of town friends and clients out of a bind!!!
I had my Cv axle replaced for hundreds cheaper than my regular mechanic!! The staff was super courteous! The manager Todd was excellent and the service was fantastic! I was expecting high prices being in the affluent Colleyville neighborhood, but it was definitely the opposite! I drive for Uber and my vehicle gets a lot of mileage and wear so I will be returning to them often for my vehicle maintenance. Check em out!
I had used Eagle before for a transmission repair and the thing that was most important to me with that kind of repair was getting it done and understanding the cost. At that time I had little faith in repair centers. Eagle surprised me be explaining the cost of everything from parts to labor and my options. Really laid it out. It was one of my better experiences. When my car stopped working recently I had not considered Eagle as I had no idea they did regular car service. While pulling up Angies list there was Eagle. I read the reviews and called. From the moment I called to when they delivered my car is was great. They went the extra mile to call the dealership about the service light that was showing a bad sensor. It was 700 bucks but it was erroneous, turned out it was a side effect related to something else. Instead of just going for what would have been a logical assumption and replacing that, they figured something didnt smell right. They found the issue was a fuel filter. The cost was so much less than expected. For me, I found a place where I trust the guys.
My experience with Eagle Transmission was as good as it gets. Ive been to many different automotive repair facilities and have never found a place as honest and caring as the group at Eagle Transmission. They are open and honest about information regarding the repairs required for your vehicle and answer any and all questions you have with more patience than Ive ever seen in a mechanic. I will never take my vehicle any where else if I have a choice in the matter and will refer friends and family. Dont forget that they can do more than just transmission work.Yes, I was an actual customer and no I wasnt paid or even asked to do this review.

My car was towed to Eagle from another repair shop that gave me a ridiculous estimate. The manager at Eagle treated me with respect and clearly explained the issue with my car. He checked in with me periodically and my car was fixed and ready within the time frame promised. Id recommend Eagle to anyone wanting top notch service and quality work.

I have a 1994 Chevy Pickup Ext. with a 4l60e, I have changed the solenoids out replaced fluid and gasket, and the speed sensor 2x. the truck sticks between 1st and 2nd and is fine after that. How much would I be charge to fix my problem? (you will get the other two stars if I can get my tuck fixed) lol just a small joke and I needed to add a rating to post this so its nothing personal I just want my truck fixed. Dealt with Todd mainly throughout the process. I went to Eagle after a different shop didnt even know where to begin with my car. They said they couldnt exactly figure out what the problem was. Todd and his team had my car diagnosed and fixed within 36 hours. These guys clear have the knowledge and wherewith-all to troubleshoot and fix problems. Not to mention how respectful and friendly they were as a bonus... Ill be back if i have to, no doubt.
I was refered to Eagle transmission by Howard at family tire and let me tell you ive never been treated better for car repair than here. They showed true care and concern for my vehicle as well as getting me in and out with an extra 1,000 off the price of what another mechanic told me it was going to cost with a family discount! So overall I know where Im going anytime I need car help, eagle transmission rocks!

I have been here 3 times over the last few years & have been sent away with a $0.00 repair bill 2 out of 3. Eagle will not charge you for services that are unnecessary. Customer service & honesty is a priority with them. I will be a customer for life!

20 years ago, I drove a 10-year-old Honda Accord that I was certain would need a new transmission (as was my husband, who knew enough about engines to rebuild them [albeit on older cars]). We went to Eagle Transmission in Colleyville because they were close, and I took the car in. Most auto repair shops see a woman who thinks she needs a new transmission and think, Hey, lets get this gal for all we can!. (Not opinion; fact, based on many past experiences...they didnt know I was married to someone who knew about cars.)They told me all I needed was a new fuse, charged me a MINIMAL fee for the fuse install, and sent me on my way.Needless to say, Ive been a 100% loyal customer since then, and theyve never done anything but honest (and, dont tell them, but...way under-priced) service, and I only take cars to other facilities when they (in their policy of honesty) explain to me that theyre not the best service center for certain models of cars (e.g., BMWs, for which I recommend Zims Autotechnik in Bedford...they also service Porche autos).For our Toyota 4Runner, I expect Eagle Transmission will keep this car running for at least 200K miles!
I have had six transmissions in seven years put in my service vehicle and this is the only company that actually found out why the Transmissions were going out and rectified the problem that was causing the transmission to go out. I have dealt with several transmission companies over my laptop and these guys are by far what I would call a transmission expert business
I HIGHLY suggest avoiding this place. Transmission rebuild lasted about 9k miles. Then come to find out most mechanics suggest not going to this place where I got the transmission rebuilt. I dont feel that they stand behind their work very much. Treated me like I didnt know what I was talking about. Best advice was to have a wrecker bring it over. Ill tow my own ass to a better shop, thanks. Dropped a grand at this place two months prior to having to drop 1700 on a rebuild. So im screwed on that money. Transmission is now POURING out tranny fluid. All of it. Dad whos been a mechanic on various things for 45+ years Took it out twice, checked O ring, seals, etc, etc, reinstalled it twice, both times it continued to pour out in between the bell housing and the front seal within five minutes of it being on. Itd be one thing if they had actually pretended to CARE, or felt bad. But nope. Id rather go drop 1700 at Greasy Monkey in North Richland with honest people that back their work and dont charge you for a diagnostic. Good luck if you do end up here
Fuel pump on our Corolla went out. The wanted to charge almost a grand for part and labor. Research showed us the part was only 70 bucks and labor an hour. In actuality the process took me and my wife less than 40 minutes to complete.
Told my kid to take his truck up there to get his transmission looked at. Called me later to tell me his truck was impounded for wrong plates during a test drive. Called colleyville police and said that wasnt what happened at all, couldnt go into detail about what happened. Tried to let my son pay the fine to get his truck out of the impound, but when the truth came out they ended up paying it. If they lie about that ,what are realy doing to your vehicle?
Amazing experience. Master cylinder went out. Todd has it diagnosed and fixed in 2 days. Was super pleased with the process.

We brought our van in 2 yrs ago for the full trans replacement..David & his crew were professional & thoughtful to our needs..Well here we go again with the same van ...But this time it was,nt what we were expecting as far as the transmission,And turned out to be a sensor..David made it right & didnt hesitate to do so..We will spread the word @ Eagle Transmissons fantastic customer service ...Thanks David ! My experience here was horrible i do not recommend visiting these guys first they said they would take 1 day to finish my car it took them 5!! and only beacuse i bugged the crap out of them it probably would have taken longer if i hadnt. next they told me a diagnoses would be free then they turn around and charge me aton of money and for what they didnt do anything and when we all looked over my car i found flaws before they did they had no idea what was going on half the time and had poor service needless to say i will not be returning nor did i pay them these guys are not good it will be days maybe weeks till you here back from them.

Not sure what to say about these guys... especially after reading the reviews.. Eagle in Colleyville came highly recommended by an engine shop in Grapevine who said they would not be able to fix what they thought was a slippage between in 1st and 2nd gears... All Im going to say is Im not very impressed with their inability to diagnose a very obvious problem.. Pretty much blew me off and told me nothing was wrong..
Todd stays in touch every step of the way. I had a 5 star experience and would leave my truck in this mans hands any day. Now shes purring like a kitten.

2021-10-12Niel and the crew did a fantastic job on my vehicle! They rebuilt my transmission and transfer case for a very reasonable price. A few weeks after the rebuild I had a check engine light. Turned out a part used in the rebuild failed (not Eagles fault). They didnt hesitate to order a new part, drop the transmission and make the replacement letting me know the repair was covered by the warranty.Tony (the owner) and Niel kept me informed throughout. I highly recommend Eagle Transmission in Colleyville. They are professional, thorough and reasonably priced.

2021-09-23Was here to get a diagnosis on my car, and they were thorough and professional. While couple other shops couldnt figure it out (including dealer), I researched bit more and found this business on ATRA website. They were just fantastic, totally nailed the root cause within an hour and also DID NOT CHARGE ANY FEE 🙏. Pure gold. I will be sure to bring all my cars here, anytime, and everytime....5️⃣⭐

2022-07-01My rear differential on my 2015 cadillac cts went bad and i needed a new one. Nobody could find it . Went to and called every cadillac dealership around dallas even went to gm website and nobody had it. I went to Tim at eagle transmission and he foumd and fixed it within a couple of weeks.

2021-06-02Love the service I received from Eagle Transmission! I was in an accident that was deemed a total loss in early April. Instead of accepting the insurance total payout, I chose to retain the vehicle (and resulting supplemental payment) based on a lower repair estimate that I received from Eagle Transmission. For me, this was a big gamble. First, I had never worked with ET before and second, I was taking a chance that their services would be good enough to repair my car for the long haul. It should be said that I use my car a lot for work and these repairs had to be done right the first time - no more new cars for me for A WHILE! Needless to say, my car was in great hands. Tony kept me abreast of the repair progress daily and my car now drives like its brand new. To be clear, Ive waited a month to give this review because, honestly, I wanted to make sure my review was based on a more lived-in experience. I actually just returned from a vacation during which I drove 800 miles across TX and I experienced NO problems. In fact, I initially reserved a car rental for the trip but canceled last minute. I have no regrets. In fact, canceling the rental left me with more money for travel souvenirs! LOL! I hope I dont need repair services again any time soon but, if I do, I know exactly where Im headed - to the reliable folks at Eagle Transmission! Thank you so much Tony & the entire ET team! Angie

2021-06-05I was very pleased with the professional and courteous service provided by Eagle Transmission with the repair work done to my 2006 Honda Accord. Tony kept me updated on the progress of the repair not only to the transmission, but to the 4 broken motor heads and rack and pinion. I would highly recommend Eagle Transmission for future work.

2021-09-01I took my sons car in after another shop warned me of a torn axle boot when we started hearing noise in the front end. I left it and basically said fixit, they did, turned out there was no torn boot and all that was wrong was the plastic inner fender had come loose. They charged me nothing for diagnosing or for fastening the fender well back in place. First rate, honest is the best description I can give. Thanks Tony and your guys, you ROCK!

2022-05-27I paid $4300.00 for a fuel pump... then, reportedly, a timing chain issue less than 2 years ago. They did not use a warrantied part. They towed my car to the shop. Got and paid for a rental car. Almost 2 weeks later. Not a Word from them. Then paid for a tow to Grubbs. Grubbs reported catastrophic engine damage due to the timing chain issue.

2020-12-07As a woman, it can be daunting walking into a transmission repair shop, or just talking to a mechanic in general, especially being new in town. Todd the manager made me feel welcome and respected. He explained everything to me in detail with good updates from beginning to end of the process of the repair. He didnt pressure me into any sale, but simply provided enough information for me to make a decision. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys!

2020-12-04Todd was an absolute sweetheart! I dropped my car off at the shop when they were closed one night based on a phone conversation, and had my car back the following evening, running perfectly and well cared for. I appreciate his courtesy and timeliness! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs their car serviced.
