The original eagle resort with Tom and Brenda as owners and Lisa with management felt comfortable , like a home away from home.Everything you needed or requested was taken care of( within reason),friendly and courteous , plus Lisa was fine as hell !!The new owners not so much, theyve ran off all the veterans , went up on lot prices and the property just looks trashy now, they have no accountability for destroying peoples lives during their takeover, emotionless, only in it for the buck.I wouldnt. Stay there you can get an apartment for what they charge and have no issues.
This rating is for the great help that we received when we needed a place to stay for one night. The park was mostly full, and the manager scouted the park for a place we could fit with our 38” motor home and towed vehicle where we could get in and out without unhooking because we needed to get out early on the morning. The manager personally helped us by showing us a couple of options when we arrived at 2:00 a.m. We were able to hook up to a 50 amp site and get a couple of hours sleep b4 heading out. Because our stay was so brief we don’t have info on water and septic. Seemed like a well kept park with a fair number of long term people.
**Updated**After speaking with them a second time, I did get a refund. I dont blame them if I just bailed, but with the road conditions I appreciate them making the accommodation.We were planning on heading down there for a sports competition for our daughter. Fort Worth got hit with some bad Ice. Had a 50 car pile up the day before. We called to cancel our reservation because the competition was canceled and they wouldnt accommodate a refund.
Really a wonderful place. The staff and owner are fantastic people. I own a Class A.40ft and there is plenty of space for me. Its also just a few minutes from the lake. Big plus too.... David
We’ve been here almost 2 months and can’t complain. The staff is incredibly friendly and are always accommodating to our needs. We’re a family of 6 and the residents have been equally as kind to us as well. Updates and improvements to the park are being made on a daily basis. The price is great for everything that’s included (WiFi is being installed right now) and the location is everything!
This campground is very nice, the park managers are amazing people, very attentive and usually answer the phone on the first call. Usually fairly quick move in timing, you definitely won’t regret parking your means of camping at this resort! Come on out and stay at the best in town!!
Been here 6 months, dont have any complaints. Staff are friendly and helpful, there are areas to walk your dogs, on-site laundry and restrooms if you need them, friendly neighbors, security cameras and a variety of space sizes available, some with a shed and/or deck already in place. A great place to stay!
Peaceful and quiet place. Lakes, rivers and trails near by as well. They are also adding a pool and game room! The only complaint I have is the wifi, at least in the spot Im in, is pretty bad even with the paid for upgrade. Everything else is awesome.

Impressed with the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, willing to help. The area is clean, kept up nicely, quiet. Long term sites have 30/50 amp, water & sewer, overnight/short-term sites 30/50 amp, water. Easy to access dump station. They are a few miles of I-820, but I recommend them highly. Quite pleased with my stay. 👍🐸🚐☕
Lived here for over six years. New management is really making great improvements its such a peaceful beautiful place to stay. Shauna and Robert are the best. You couldnt ask for nicer people who are always there to help.
My Dad and I have lived here at Eagle Resorts for almost two years and we love it. Our experience here has been excellent. They are very friendly, helpful and they have always made us feel at home. My dad is disabled so when my dad is at home alone I know he is safe. They have excellent security so I have no reason to worry about my dad when Im not there. The Management, Maintenance and Security are perfect. The park is very quiet and well maintained. We love here wouldnt want to be anywhere else. Sincerely Odell and AnissaTannehill 💜
We stayed here for 3 weeks, as we visited family in the Fort Worth area. Everyone was very helpful, and pleasant to speak to. I had even lost some hardware off my tow dolly, and they let me look through some nuts and bolts they had in a work shed.Will be returning next year, and plan to stay here again.Thanks, to Lisa, and the whole crew, for a very pleasant stay.Gerry Goguen
Do not recommend. No green grass, tons of stickers In all of the dead grass. You can’t wear sandals outside because of all the stickers and your dogs will be covered in them. This says 4 stars but it’s like NONE of the 4 stars I’ve ever been too. I’ve been to 2 star places that are WAY better than this. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry rooms and tiny & I wouldn’t use them. Mostly everyone is living here. Don’t listen to the 4 star rating....
*** update ***We had an issue with previous management but the new management is very eager to make sure business is done right. Shawna has gone above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and our issue was resolved. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay again.
I really enjoyed being here. The park was clean and very well kept. The office people were friendly and very helpful. I was visiting a friend in Sagnaw,TX. and in spite of major construction it was quite easy to drive in the area. Many places to shop and nice restaurants in the area. Six Flags was not too far. If you read my reviews my main gripe is usually about people not cleaning up after their dogs. This place didnt have that problem!!
Ive lived here over a year. The price is a little more expensive but there is not a lot of traffic and it is really safe. Ive had problems with my RV and they have helped me just out of the goodness of their hearts. I have never had any problem with management and its also really clean. Im not sure what is wrong with some of the people who have left negative reviews but I am pretty sure they have never even visited the park.
You cant beat these prices thats for sure. Especially when you get the best spot in the lot and well kept facilities. The park is peaceful, the roads are smooth, everyone around seemed to be having a great time. Why wouldnt you come here?
In our many years of RV travels, we find the manager, park and staff score a 10. For us, on returning into and through Fort Worth, this park takes the guess work out of picking a place to settle in to.
My relationship has been dissolved from Eagle Resorts. New ownership of the property it is now owned by Carroll and Sons and well I will say good luck. Very friendly place.. we have a 40ft coach, no problems. They even pumped out our sewer at a no charge. They do have sewer hookups we just choose a site without one. It was close to the laundry mat.
We arrived on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend after striking out at 4 other parks. We came in without calling, and were greeted by Lisa, park manager extraordinaire. She made a spot for us and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Didn’t use the showers but the laundry room was well kept. The only reason the park didn’t get a 5 star was because of the cocabura stickers which made it hard for the dogs, but Lisa said they are “working” on it. 5 stars for Lisa!
Mike and his crew are very respectful and care for the comfort of your family and your stay. When out of there way take sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I was newbe to RVing and knew nothing at all about it. I pulled in to Eagleresorts with my newly purchased RV trailer. I was greeted by Robert, I explained my situation to him. Robert looked me in the eyes and said don’t worry its gonna be ok. Robert took care of everything for me, signing me in. Then knowing I was a newbe he help me park and setup RV trailer. Explaining everything about hooking up and getting me settled in. Robert and Shana were very helpful and polite. I would recommend Eagleresorts to any One in this area Looking for a place to stay. Great place to stay, great management, very helpfull
The resort is a little bit out of the city but very affordable. The manager called Lisa, is very helpful, sweet woman. She treated us like family, we felt right at home.
This is an unattractive Trailer Park that also rents to traveling Rvers. We had reservations far in advance. Upon arrival we were told they were full due to hurricane victims. Im very happy to know they had a place to go, but, no one contacted us to let us know! But we were stuck, so we accepted a make-shift spot outside the facility on the highway. They still charged us for the stay. I would NEVER stay there again. Although there were no incidents, I was still concerned for our safety.
Called about a 30amp spot for a very small Horizon Van and was quoted $600.00 for one month stay. NOT. I only needed electricity to run the RV propane furnace, it only draws .05 amps. Told then that I dont need water and sewage hookups since they have restroom and shower. Maybe since its winter they are starving but excessively charging for lot space will surely drive business away. Id surely buy a lake lot first. And yes I called you and that was your quoted price. This is not Las Vegas. Your absolutely not anything close to a five star anything. Maybe your office is too close to the cesspool.
Management is new every other week and now theyre banning all patio furniture and storage totes when confined in a trailer its outrageous that the residents cant even sit on patio furniture and not a lot of space in a trailer to store groceries and dishes and not allowing totes stored neatly... Will be moving ASAP!
Nice rv park, on the high side for the amount of amenities provided. Lots and roads consist of dirt and gravel. They do not offer a lot and electricity monthly rate option. They only offer monthly lot fee, plus electric. They have lots that have direct sewage and some without. All lots have water and either a 30 or 50 amp hook up. It is a fairly quiet and low traffic community. You are within a ten minute drive of Target, Wal-Mart, and other shopping centers.
We enjoyed our stay. Were there for 7month. The entire staff is friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist. The owner are sweet as can be. Front help is amazing(Curtis you are fantastic). Ok People My Name is Penny Dean I call Home In Florida But I travel alot for Work across The USAI meet people everywhere and I stay in alot of different RV Parks Camper Resorts .But I seriously want EVERYONE TO KNOW Eagles Resort LLC has made me feel so at home here with every single Staff Member here has been very very helpful as to helping me get hooked up and unhook my camper from my Truck.If I needed help with my Dog while I was at workThese People I would trust with my lifeNever have I been any where and felt Like I was like family .If there was a way to Rate them a Infinity and beyond I seriously would .This place is an awesome place to stay is clean their helpful and make you feel like their family. The entire staff was awesome. Very friendly and the property was very clean. They helped us get set up and checked to see if we needed anything during our stay. We will go back when we are in the area.
This is a cool RV park. Eagle resorts has an inviting and cozy feel to it. The Manager lady is cool as a fan, the maintenance man willing to help 24/7. . It really is a good spot
Bad experience. Moved in From the city thinking we would finally be at peace and just be at home when actually, i am Feeling targeted . site had no sewer hook up,just biweekly pick up monday and thursdays.which made things difficult as well.. I payed early all the time and did what I am supposed to and there is always someone or something going on every day. Such a Burden when someone is always knocking on Your door like a boot camp.
This is a wonderful RV park!!! Family oriented, clean, close to town, great facilities, and free WiFi!! The manager of this park Shauna, went above and beyond to ensure my family was 100% happy! I would definitely stay again and again!! Great RV park!!
This place is very nice & quiet & the management is great & always working hard to maintain & improve the property & the location & prices are fantastic. Youre in the country but everything is just a couple of miles down the road & Eagle Mountain Lake is very close also. We will definitely return here when were in the area.
Owners are crooks. Make promises they dont keep, they had 5 different managers in the 6 months we stayed there. We lost our dog to the busy crazy road that its on.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Genuinely appreciated us being there and were there to help with whatever we needed help with. This was our first trip with a new RV and I was not familiar at all with what all was involved with a 40+ RV and they were more than happy to help. Thanks so much for all of your help guys.
The price was high for the lack of amenities The site was difficult to level the motorhome and had to run water /electric on theopposite side,glad I had another hose. As a traveling camper the site had no sewer hook up,just biweekly pick up monday and thursdays.which made things difficult as well.The only good thing is we were able to see relatives without having to travel to see them.No bathrooms,showers, cable and no proper paperwork
This place os quiet, and peaceful. I enjoy bwing here. The manager has been great for years, and recently she was sick amd gone, the man that took over made a mess of the property, but the staff os workong hard everyday not only to fix issues, but are making GREAT improvements. It is a great place to be.
Shauna has been incredible. I was needing to decide on a spot without seeing it....and she went and FaceTimed me so I could get a reallly good feel for the site. Thank you Shauna! I look forward to staying there.
Biggest dump i drove through scoping spots out so far. And the lady in the office was hysterical and obnoxious. She went on some crazy rant about Jesus. And it is definitely a dump. Muddy nasty grass pad sites. For the money they must be delusional. OHH and grey water dumps straight on to the ground in some sites. laughable.

Management is not trust worthy. Will promise lots when you put a deposit on it and then get there and the lot is not available. Dewayne is very rude. He doesnt know customer service very well. A lot of the lots have no waste and is ran on the ground and smells.
Have not had any problems except the owners do not allow internet services. I went to the cable place and they say they do have services in this area but the RV park refuses to allow Internet hookup. This day and age Internet is a lot for some people. Other than that the bathrooms are small and cramped. I generally just opt for my camper tiny bathroom.

Very crowded and may as well not even claim to offer any amenities. Bathroom barely has room to turn around in and only has one female and one male stall, and are not even restocked with toilet paper. Laundry facility is also minimal.
Out of all the RV parks in the DFW area, Eagle resorts is by far the best. The owner and the assistant manager have great customer service. The maintainence crew were very friendly and helpful to our needs.
My wife and I have lived here for almost a year now and absolutely love this park. Very quiet and peaceful living. The owners and staff are amazing and always helpful. 😍
The pics and the name are a bit deceiving. Not what I would consider a “resort”! There is nothing to do but to hook up rv and stay the night. There is no volleyball or beach or lake within walking distance.
This is my home base. I spend about 7 months of the year here. Can not say enough good things about how well Tracia has taken care of me and my needs. When I come back from a summer in the mountains or a winter in Tucson it is comming home.

The people who own and run the park are not good or honest people. Stay there at your own risk. Cant say someone didnt warn people.
Not what you see in the pictures no pool no showers and definitely no beach although it is a couple of miles away.
Great place on the grounds... not very good neighborhood surrounding it. Lots of trashy yards and sketchy roads to get to it.
Smelly air made the stay not desireable. Paid same price for a better place before.
Very disappointing. Our site consisted of a post with electricity and water in the middle of a gravel parking lot. No picnic table, fire ring, or lantern hook. Even primitive campsites have these!
This place is really nice. It’s like country living in the city and the people in the office bend over backwards to help in anyway possible

2021-10-22Speed limit in park is (5 mph) and strictly enforced! Staff was friendly and helpful. Park has a lot of green space to walk your dog. They have a dog park, but it is not an off leash park. There are also a lot of ant mounds so be careful where you step if barefoot or wearing flip flops, etc!

2021-02-12I love everything about this place! It is so peaceful, conveniently located, I am just minutes away from everything I need and want! I cannot wait to utilize the brand new swimming pool this summer! They are super kid and dog friendly. I really could not ask for a better place! I will be staying for a long while. 2021-04-06First off not Bitter just relaying personal experience take it for what its worth. I have to agree with a few previous reviews regarding this park. I would never consider this to be a resort and those who do have obviously never stayed at a true resort. This is no more than a community of people which live in RVs and a quiet place to rest for a few days. No disrespect to the residents Im just trying to also state that the pics and the name are a bit deceiving The gym, spa, game room ,tennis and volleyball courts were ABSOLUTELY NON-EXISISTANT...however there was a pool.. DEFINATELY NOT A RESORTThe site was the smallest that I have experienced could not fit my truck on the pad without imposing on my neighbors site had to park across the road. The site had several welcoming gifts from the neighbors dogHad a major mishap while being guide to a site. I was led down one of the streets which had a tree limb growing out over the road that was hanging down low enough to hit the roof of my 40 fifth wheel. According to the manager and owner of the park, this was not the first time an incident of this type had occurred. When I questioned them regarding reporting the damage to their insurance company they both stated that the insurance company had rejected previous claims which I also found to true when I called to make a claim. My Question is, if this has happened in the past why havent the limbs growing over the streets not been trimmed back from the road to protect the guest that patronize the park. We spend good money to purchase our rigs to only have them damaged due to inadequate maintenance and lack of concern by owner/operators of establishment. Now the good.. the manager and crew were helpful with assisting me with contacting a mobile repairman to patch the roof and a separate issue not related to the tree. Well they have fixed the tree issue as you can see in the photo them using my roof as a cutting platform. Never again

2020-12-26This is such a sweet little place to stay. The people are just so accommodating and lovely. There’s lots of space and it’s super quiet. I felt so comfortable here. I also had no problem with the facilities. We went during COVID but they kept everything so clean they I never once worried. I hope to stay here again some day. I really loved it.

2020-12-27Eagle Resorts is my favorite park in Texas. It is so level and easy to get in and out of. They have a really nice place with a lot of room. I also appreciate their staff and their willingness to help. They are wonderful in every sense of the word. I’m always happy when I get a chance to stay here.

2019-05-22Great first experience. We got in late Sunday and Lisa and Robert were amazing made us feel right at home. Robert helped my husband with set up and made sure everything was in order. This is a kid and pet friendly place which is a big plus for us. My dogs really enjoyed their early morning walks. They even have security which is another big plus since I ran every morning of our stay. Lisa is amazing and worked with our busy schedules and was very understanding. We’ll be staying back again!

2019-12-13A simple country RV park that is safe, quiet, clean, very people and pet friendly. Shauna and Robert have been great with any service needs, they are very hands on and work hard at keeping the park a great place to be. Lots of trees throughout the park and at RV sites, plenty of space to move around and the new owners are making many improvements to the park. Its close to several amenities and the lake. I have truly enjoyed my time here.

2019-05-29From the time I first called and spoke with Lisa, I had the feeling that I was going to really like Eagle Resort. And I was right! She was SO friendly, made our stay really enjoyable. The park is conveniently close to Ft. Worth and the stockyards but away from the noise and commotion. Robert to, he was super helpful when we pulled in. Hooking up our water and electric connections and leveling our rig, what a great guy. 😁👍 It seemed like all our neighbors were just as friendly too. Im pretty sure that weve found our Go To spot when we need a place to stay when were over that way.

2018-09-19We love it here. Staying after transferring from Ohio, (Work). The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a really tight knit community. People look out for each other. It’s very quiet and safe. They do background checks, so everyone is on the up and up. Great laundry and garbage facilities. We highly recommend this place for your long term or short term stay!!!
