Ive had a great experience at the Edison so far! The staff is extremely responsive and goes out of their way to take care of their residents. Big shout out to Jesus- he came by to complete a few work orders for me. He is on point and didnt hesitate to take care of everything we needed. Highly recommend the Edison
Signed my lease yesterday! It was such a wonderful experience with all of the staff especially Jocelyn. She made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. She was very attentive and was able to answer all of our questions. It was a very smooth experience and I am so excited to be living in the Edison for the next year, especially knowing how helpful the staff is already.
I have been to many complexes looking for a suitable place to live and I was very pleased to find Edison! Sara and her amazing team were absolutely amazing! They were extremely helpful and they genuinely care about what’s important to you and your circumstances whatever they may be. If you are looking for genuine real help in finding the perfect place to live it’s here!
Mailroom is a disaster. Packages get lost and local carriers like USPS refuses to deliver to door or even the correct building, but mailroom does not allow packages beyond a certain size which makes certain packages undeliverable unless you wait for the USPS guys every morning or pick up at the Post Office. After the new valet trash policies of only 2 days per week even though the lease clearly saids everyday pickup, some residents are either not aware or are not following the new policies so now there is trash everywhere in the halls and nobody is picking it up, stinking up the entire place. Do not rent here if you are looking for luxury apartment. This is anything but luxury. Cant even handle trash situation and proper package delivery here.
Firstly, I have been at the Edison for over 2 years now. The old group was not perfect but they took care of issues in a somewhat timely manner, kept the property clean, and hired security to maintain some level of safety in not the best side of Austin. Since the Connor Group has come in, I have noticed the property not maintaining at least the same standard of cleanliness, no security on site leading to several break-ins happening in a 30 day window (not just to me), and A/C units being out 5 days in apartments before service arrives. I called to ask for an amount of money I needed to pay to break my lease due to these issues, but I was met with the front office telling me about how the pool was about to be fixed and re-opened. I was not taken seriously and at 2k a month in rent, I expect the basics to never be questioned.
Extremely happy with my apartment and still can’t believe I live here! I recently relocated from out of state and feel like I hit the jackpot as soon as I walked into the leasing office I was welcomed by Haley. Even though I didnt have an appointment, Haley was very courteous, professional, and extremely personable. She took the time to sit downt and listen to all of my wants and needs and took notes. I was downsizing from a 3 bedroom condo to a one bedroom apartment, so I wanted to make sure it didn’t feel like the walls were caving in. When I was done talking, she took a quick look on her computer and turned to me and said “Are you ready to go see your new home?” I was so impressed and relieved from the moment I walked in the front door! It was everything I was looking for. The property is gorgeous- especially the views of downtown! I highly recommend this property to anyone moving to Austin!
Moved in a couple weeks ago, and the staff went above and beyond to help me get into an apartment.Spent three weeks going back and fourth from Dallas to Austin and the few spots downtown I wanted were getting taken within 24 hours. It was a blessing in disguise, because I couldn’t be happier with my apartment here.Texas stayed after normal business hours to get me in a tour and I lucked out because a beautiful two bedroom with a city view became available that day.Great space and being right outside the city there’s plenty of space and agriculture to walk my dog.Leading into the weeks moving in Texas among other staff helped me out with questions, and provided me with everything I needed for quick easy move.Looking forward to my time here!
I moved from New York to Austin recently, into a studio with Edison and the staff has been nothing but great. The rooms are spacious, there’s a pool on site, and the building is well maintained. There are really good common areas for working and lounging about also, helping it all feel like one big community.Texas was particularly a great help throughout the process, the showing was very professional and we’ll done, to the point I felt I lived in the building before I even moved in. The application and move in process was extremely straightforward, easing a lot of headache during an ordinarily stressful time moving across the country. A great place to look at if you’re considering renting in Austin.
I just recently moved in and the experience so far has been nothing short of great. The staff is so kind and they always have the best attitude. Garrett is the best! He is my go-to when it comes to any questions I’ve had. He is responsive, helpful, and always has the best attitude. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment in Austin.
My experience with Edison so far has been great! I’m moving from Florida so I was super nervous about signing at a place without seeing it in person, but Garrett was very patient and answered every question I had! He gave me a tour of the apartment via FaceTime and was very knowledgeable of all of the features. Because of him I felt very comfortable signing, and I look forward to living here!
My partner and I moved in in January 2020 and are now reaching the end of our lease. From the very beginning our HVAC system gave us problems. It would make a screeching noise that was very hard to ignore. Maintenance eventually corrected the problem but then our thermostat started to throw an error that shut off the unit until maintenance could reset it. Our maintenance log shows us putting in 14 requests for this same issue. There were more instances that weren’t recorded where we told the front office and they had maintenance fix it. Clearly the root of the problem was not being fixed. At the end of December 2021 our unit shut off and they were unable to reset it. We were without AC and heat for 9 days. Our apartment has 1 window that barely opens which wasn’t enough to keep the air moving. It became very stagnant and uncomfortable in the apartment. This is frankly unacceptable for the amount we pay in rent. The front office was not communicating with us about the problem and my partner has sent numerous emails that have gone unanswered. For those looking to move to the Edison my is advice is to look elsewhere. Riverside has many new complexes going up that most likely offer more reliable amenities.Edison team-I am not interested in a response to this review. Please respond to the numerous emails that my partner has sent that have gone unanswered.
Awesome leasing experience, Garrett in the front office did an incredible job with the tour and getting me the apartment I wanted. Could not be more excited to move in May! Highly recommend the Edison as the best value on Riverside, and when you go in make sure to request Garrett since he gives the best tours.
Nice place to live!Great location as well. Now, I am sure that the entire leasing team is brilliant, a special mention for Garrett who is absolutely fantastic at his job, he understands your requirements and does his best to find the most suitable option for you. Very considerate, approachable and helpful!
Update following owner response: Nothing to discuss, fix problems I mentioned, and I will happily update my review. You cant find me in your system because I dont feel safe enough to use my primary email. Yes, you make tenants feel unsafe so aggressive you are!Original review:Stay away! New management, they dont care about tenants, only harass them. No more coffee machines, printers, pool BBQ, gym equipment and other perks, everything is gone. They wouldnt take any responsibility. Trash collection is a joke - 2 days a week. Now also you will need to pay for parking (not reserved, just to use parking garage....)
Ive only been at Edison for one lease, but Haley was super helpful the whole time and totally recommend working with her if you happen to choose Edison. Shell guide you through whatever youre needing help with and shell get it done!I must be honest though (this is my experience and a similar one to others as well), to no fault of Haley (she and Texas, another leasing agent there, were the bright patches along the way), but the property management has consistently been poor and priorities misaligned, lack of security and several theft breaches in just one lease term, all while rates unjustifiably continue to rise (to a point where it was all a no-brainer to move out). The cleanliness is majorly lacking, & although new management has taken over, almost no noticeable change has occurred, other than painting the building, which is absolutely not the priority, when theres cleanliness and theft issues throughout the parking garages and corridors.
I have recently moved into a single bedroom apartment and am very excited to call this my new home. Texas, a member of the leasing staff, has been tremendously helpful in making sure I found the right apartment for me and has gone above and beyond in making my life easier. Cheers to a great view, friendly staff, and a very nice pool.
Coming from someone who has never postetd a bad review online I urge you to please believe all the negative reviews you are seeing about the new management. I lived here for 18 months before the Connor Group took over and was happy. I would never have resigned my lease if i knew the building was going to be sold to another company a month later. Very sad because it was a great complex that I was proud to live in until a couple months ago.
Haley the assistant manager was an ABSOLUTE peach! We were going on vacation literally the next day and would be gone for a week. My boyfriend is moving from out of state so moving can get stressful. She was super helpful and fast with the entire process. The apartment’s beautiful and she was and is always very personable. Hugs and cheers to Haley! Thank you very much 💜
I recently toured with Haley and had a great experience. She asked questions about what I was looking for and really took the time to narrow down what floor plan would work best for me. The property itself is beautiful and has some of the best amenities Ive seen! I would highly recommend checking this place out.
I would caution individuals to live at this location as their business practices are suspect at best. I sent $150 in December 2020 as a security deposit to begin a lease in January 2021. I informed the leasing office that I would actually live at a different location with ample time. The leasing office let me know that this was not a problem and they would repay the security deposit in full.Writing this review it is March 2022 with 16 months passed. In this span I have called the leasing office over 5 times, stopped by the office 3 times, had email correspondence with the promise of a follow up and resolution and still I have yet to receive my security deposit back. Through my phone calls, office visits, and email correspondence never once did an individual follow back up with me. It is unprofessional by the front office to not provide proper restitution in a timely manner for an item that is not complex. At this point I have given up hope to be repaid as promised by Edison Apartments.
I’ve lived at The Edison going on two years, and as many others have mentioned, there are ongoing issues that the previous staff never addressed promptly, but I do appreciate the new owners/management; especially the three people I’ve dealt with personally, Haley, Steph and Garrett. Any time I have a concern or question, they’re available, kind, and thorough with letting me know what they’re doing to address any issues. Many issues have come up and this entire team is working hard to backtrack and make things right and make this place clean, safe, and friendly.
This new property is very well ran. Jocelyn and Thomas in the leasing office are super nice and helpful. I’ve had no issues since moving in here and my favorite part is that they’re veteran friendly. The staff is creating a great community and is always improving the property.
Came across these apartments online and reached out for info. The leasing agents told me i needed to come in right away because 2 bedrooms were about to be gone. I felt pressured to go earlier than planned because they told me they had units available. I got there to tour and discussed what i needed. the agent proceeded to show me a one bedroom as “exactly what i wanted” and it was extremely overpriced. parking is an additional fee here which is silly for it’s location. they got new management a couple months back and are obviously making needed adjustments to make the spaces nice but obviously pushing out the current tenants by spiking the rent. huge waste of time.
I have lived here for about three years now (since the building opened), and have written a review before. Felt like I needed to update my review as my experience has changed since I last wrote. Ill break it down into the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The Good:1. Location and price are very competitive for Austin. The Edison has good prices in relation to other areas in Austin, and even a good price compared to other new apartments in the area. East Riverside is definitely a transitioning neighborhood, and early in said transition. Dont expect a wholefoods, but new restaurants and apartments are opening monthly. Still a little dirty/city vibes though the City did recently clean up a lot of the homelessness.2. Pool is top notch! It is one of the best selling points of the Edison. It has a ton of space, and hours of sunlight unlike apartments that build pools in the center of courtyard. (The pool is closed from Nov-April which is a bummer because its already 80 degrees by March)3. Apartment interiors are new and modern. Are the materials used high-end? No, but thats expected in this price range. it looks like a new building and the units have a lot of natural light and modern cabinets. The Bad:1. Apartment Gym- Its fairly small which isnt the end of the world, but the upkeep of the gym is horrible. There are six cardio machines but around half are missing power cords or completely broke. These machines have been broken for 2 years +. The dumbbell sets are incomplete. Currently end at 35s.2. Dog Park- I dont know if you could really consider this a dog park as its more of a fenced-in hill. No grass just rocks and dirt with a fence. The one caveat is that the new management mentioned that improving it is on their to-do list.3. Trash Pick-up- residents are charged a flat fee for trash pick-up. The new management recently changed the pick-up schedule from 5 times a week down to 2 days. This was claimed as an efficiency based decision, but lets be honest here. No mention of trash fee being reduced either. The Ugly:1. Maintenance- This has gone downhill over the years Ive lived here. It takes a few days to get things done that used to take hours. Like many other reviews have mentioned, there seems to be an issue with the AC that many residents face. Its been 2 weeks with no fix, and this is a recurring issue.TLDR - The Edison is a decent apartment, especially for the cost and the proximity to downtown. Has some issues, which are either being caused or solved by the new management.
My roommate and I were very excited to have found this complex since it had a decent price and looked like a nice complex. We were ready to move forward and take a virtual tour which my roommate did for the both of us. On the day of the tour my roommate applied and I was then told that I needed to apply. When I received the email to apply, I replied asking if someone could hop on a call with me prior to my submitting the application. After I replied, I received a response asking me to just fill out the application and that someone could talk to me the day after. I never like to fill out anything without asking questions which I made clear to the agent Thomas. Eventually Thomas agreed to call me. Once he called I started asking my questions. Instead of ensuring me of the application process and putting any worries at ease, he kept insisting that I needed to fill out the paperwork THAT DAY or else we would lose the apartment. After every question I had he kept replying well you havent even filled out any paperwork yet so I wouldnt know. Throughout my call with Thomas he was extremely rude and pushy and even insisted that I was insulting him by saying that I felt rushed by him. I made it extremely clear to him that I meant no insult and that I was just not in a position to fill out the paperwork then and there (I only had my phone with me) and would probably not be able to fill it out by the end of the day. To this Thomas replied that he had three other individuals wanting this apartment and that he was actually doing my roommate and I a favor by holding the apartment for us. When I explained that I just didnt feel comfortable with how fast everything was going (my roommate had applied and paid for the applications that same day) he stated I didnt force your roommate to pay the application, I didnt take the credit card out of his wallet. Afterwards I just kept insisting that I was not going to fill out everything that very day to which Thomas replied that hed hold the apartment until 10 AM the next day and if my application wasnt in by then, hed put the apartment back on the market. Once I told him that was fine, he very hastily hung up the phone on me. This interaction with Thomas was so unpleasant that it gave me a great amount of doubt about how we were going to be treated as residents if we signed there. After my call with Thomas, I called my roommate and told him how the call went; we both agreed that it was best not to sign at this complex and to look elsewhere. Essentially, to make a LONG story short, we were excited to sign at this complex but because of my call with Thomas, we decided to sign elsewhere.
Jocelyn Donich gave me a tour and could not have been more genuine in her treatment of me and in her dedication to find an apartment that fit my every need at Edison Apartments. Not only was she very personable and knowledgeable, but she took the time to interview me about my interests and where i spent the most time in my apartment before even showing me a space. Jocelyn was charismatic and seemed to have a real rapport with the people that lived there, stopping to say hello or to pet a dog on the way to my apartment. She got back to me super quick at every part of the process, always with a cheerful, happy demeanor. Some of the things I really liked about Edison is that all of the utilities are hooked up by the apartment complex and they did not require that I make 3x the rent in gross. I would highly reccomend Edison Apartments and trust Jocelyn Donich to help find the perfect space in the community for you!
I have had nothing but the best experience at Edison. My roommate and I moved in yesterday and the entire staff has made our move-in seamless and comfortable. From our tour a few weeks ago, throughout the onboarding process and now since moving in, we have received EXCEPTIONAL guidance and accountability from Joclyn.Joclyn has really highlighted what it takes to be the perfect sales associate. Not only does she deliver great customer service and employee relations amongst other staff members, but also takes her relationships with her clients and tenants very seriously and does whatever it takes to meet their needs!I can’t say good enough things about Joclyn & the Edison team. Love the Connor Group & excited to see what amazing things they do to the place!
I would give zero stars if I could. The Edison’s new ownership group, The Connor Group, and their unprofessional on-site team and Regional Manager have done a horrific job with maintaining even the most essential needs of an apartment community. I have 3 friends who live there. Each of my friends residing there have been without AC consistently for over 40 days. AC at this community has been an issue for some time now and each of my friends have had intermittent issues throughout their leases, but nothing compared to what they are experiencing now. Management continues to disregard the issue stating that they are awaiting materials to be shipped, but have offered no other resources to rectify the issue. No rent concessions, no ability to transfer to a unit with ac, no offer of hotel stays, no portable ac unit, nothing. We are in the summer months of Austin where triple digit heat is common. All of my friends interior units are above 95 degrees and they are hesitant to post reviews in fear of retaliation. You are left to sweat and experience heat exhaustion in your home without a care in the world. The on-site management will just hang up on you when you call to complain and the Regional Manager does nothing to provide an immediate solution. Unanswered calls and emails to the corporate office are common here. All of my friends have come to terms that this is the new reality until the end of their lease when they will be able to terminate and move out. In case you haven’t noticed, they consistently post a FAKE positive review with each new nevagtive review they receive to try and maintain somewhat of a positive online reputation. They have received tons of negative reviews within the past 30 days and they are trying to disguise them with fake reviews from the staff. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. There are somewhere between 40-50 residents currently without AC and today’s heat index is showing a high of 105 degrees. KVUE news has been notified and a complaint with the City of Austin Code Compliance Department has been filed. KXAN will be publishing a story this upcoming week all while keeping the residents identity anonymous. This is an absolute disgrace for what is supposed to be a luxurious community. Please be aware that AC’s are not the only issue. Upon the new ownership acquiring the property they immediately terminated the security company and increased rents 40%. Although property management can never guarantee your safety, there are steps they can take to try and deter/minimize criminal activity. Hiring a security company to walk the premises during the evening hours is one of those steps. Unfortunately, since terminating the security company, break ins to vehicles are now common and the on-site team will just tell you to call your insurance company to replace your windows. This has happened to so many people in just 30 days. It’s clear the new ownership value overall income only and resident retention, customer service, and basic needs are not critical. I feel so bad for my friends, 1 is staying with me, another has had to go stay with her family in San Antonio, and another has had to rent an Airbnb bc she has a cat. So unfortunate considering what this community USED to be. Do NOT move here, I promise you, you will regret it.
NEW BUILDING OWNERS DO NOT RENT HERE! They no longer offer valet but charge for it, since they bought the building nothing has been fixed in a timely manner, was left notes asking to pay even though i had already paid. Also the pool was fine before; they had all winter to finish it and now it is not going to be available UNITL END OF APRIL!!! Also valet trash is not two days a week in the morning, it is supposed to be in the evening at night. Also since the valet situation now there is trash EVERYWHERE! I just. saw a poor girl carrying four bags of trash. They are now threatening people with cameras by the trash like we are children and fines for not putting the trash away properly. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT RENT HERE. THEY FIRED ALL THE PREVIOUS STAFF, THE NEW STAFF IS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. I AM LOOKING TO LEAVE ASAP. Also the office and every other area has been dirty, Now they are also painting the building without much notice and making everyone remove their belongings rom the porch....Great place to live! The staff is super friendly. The amenities are great, 24 hour gym, free coffee anytime, office space with printers and a beautiful pool with downtown views. Also very friendly residents. I highly recommend this place!
I am a resident of the Edison. I have to tell you the staff is amazing! I have had the pleasure of dealing with them one on one. They have never let me down. They always are available and always have a smile on their faces! This spans from the office staff through to the maintenance staff! Always ready to help! Thank you Garrett, Texas, Stephanie and Michael! I tell all my friends how wonderful it is to live here!
Just want to give a HUGE shoutout to Texas and Thomas for doing everything they could to get me a spot at Edison Apartments. With every obstacle I came across through my process, they had a solution and I couldnt be more grateful! From the front desk, to Texas and Thomas, the customer service was amazing. If youre looking for a place in Austin, check this place out!
My partner and I have been working with this company for almost a year WITHOUT incident and if there ever are issues that need assistance, the front desk and management WAS ALWAYS people you can depend on. Since the switch to the Connor group company, this place honestly has been a DISASTER. The front desk staff (ESPECIALLY Stephanie who is supposed to be the property manager) are beyond rude; this woman even hung up the phone on me when I called to place a work order (that ive put in 3x over the past 2 weeks for the SAME issue). She straight up told me that maybe they will get to it and maybe they wont because their staff is trying to learn how to navigate the building. So BEWARE. if youre going to move here, No work orders are completed in reasonable amounts of time anymore and when you enter into the office, its always as if we are interrupting their party and get-togethers. When Stephanie hung up, I called back and she would answer and put me on hold over and over for 20 straight minutes and then hung up. The other staff memeber as well Garrett did this. Its as if one person dislikes someone and they gang up like little minions. They refused to answer AT ALL for at least 30 minutes after. I have NEVER had an experience with any leasing office weve had our properties with and we have properties all over the country. When our lease is up, we will not be returning, and I really hope people dont look at the good reviews (that ive even written in the past about the company) and think its the people CURRENTLY there whom theyre about to work with. The last staff was impeccable. This staff is absolutely poor. Id rather spend more money where I dont receive treatment like this.
I toured The Edison today. I dont live there but I am going to save you a bit of time before you even think about living here. Going to tour, I was basically interviewed by Garret about where I worked, how much furniture I had in my current place, what kind of interior finishes Im looking for. While I appreciated a few of the questions, like what size rooms or closet space I need, the questions got too personal super fast. We overlooked that and toured regardless. From just feeling the energy in the office I could tell something was sketchy. Online the unit we were looking for was leasing for $2349, however when we got there the price changed quick for the worse. The number of fees is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! They charge tenants:1. parking fee ($75) just to use a parking garage that is the ONLY parking option available2. FOB/Key fee ($100 per fob), when you move-in you have to pay for your own FOB (LOL) usually its only for the replacement of lost fobs, but ofc This is THE Edison!3. Utilities Fee Addendum: a total of $180 or more depending on how much water you use, which includes: internet $100, water & energy submetered, recycling FEE around $14, trash FEE $44, amenities FEE of $45, valet TRASH FEE $24, administration fee $12.So youre gonna charge people $82 for trash collection (LMAO!)Also, with each application you pay $150 that is non-refundable, and $250 administration fee AND $550-700 deposit............You do the math. Not only do they make you answer a lot of questions to show you a unit that will probably not be the one you are interested in, they WAIT until the end to show you these absurd fees. The apartments are nice however, please not even those close to the lake charge $2900 COMBINED for rent and petty utilities for a 2x2. While Garret was super nice and attentive, you could tell he was playing poor marketing techniques such as TODAY IS THE LAST DAY YOU CAN LEASE AT THIS PRICE, TOMORROW WILL BE A DIFFERENT RATE, ALSO NEXT WEEK IS A DIFFERENT RATE. NONE of this is portrayed on their website, so obviously they are trying to trick every tenant and person interested in touring.DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!Apartments nearby such as Radius on The Grove, The Monroe, Zoe offer better prices and more transparency than The Edison.
Had a bit of a rocky start to my move in due to previous company management, but I have to say Haley, Steph and Garrett were absolutely amazing! They helped me through the process and have answered all of my questions that I have had for them. They walked me through what options would be best and worked with me through my entire move in. Could not have asked for a more supportive team!
I came here to express my deep gratitude for the groundskeeper, Caden, who literally jumped into the dumpster without hesitation to retrieve the 90-day supply of medication I accidentally threw away. I was about to catch a flight out of the country when I realized I had used the pharmacy bag as a garbage bag, and I would have been completely screwed if not for Cadens kindness. The rest of the staff at Edison is also lovely - thank you!
I use to have a 5 star review here and now I’m over it, sadly I resigned my lease before our building was bought. Honestly I’m just annoyed the office hours changed, the trash days and times changes (for the worse ), and they lack on keeping the coffee area up to par. This is only the little things, I’m sure something else will come up as the year goes on.It’s only been a month since new management has come in and you can tell nothing is improving but only going down hill. I’m sure prices here will continue to go up regardless so what’s the point of paying and staying if we aren’t going to receive equivalent accommodations if not BETTER.
Update (2/7/2022).While I was away on work someone tried to break into our apartment again (third time total). Luckily my dog barking scared them off. When I tried to report the issue to the office I was yelled at by the property manager Lucas. Most of these issues stem from the back door of building 2 not locking. I have lived here for almost a year and the door locked for maybe 2 weeks of that time.Lucas (property manager) claims that they are learning as we go and this pertains from everything to having to fire the security to apartment break-ins to car break-ins to the exterior doors not locking. The weights in the fitness room just had to be replaced because they were all stolen. I also dont want to forget the many weeks that the HVAC has been out. January was the first month we didnt have an issue with it being out at least a couple days since moving here. All in all, DO NOT MOVE HERE. The office staff is in way over their heads. The claim that they are still learning is frightening when you consider the price of rent. Ive been kicking myself everyday that I didnt move out immediately after my first review.--------------------------------------------------------------I would give zero if I could. Edison rents out extra apartments through AirBnB. They give those people temporary codes to access apartments using a system called Dwelo. The biggest issue is that they gave a master code to my apartment which allowed random AirBnB people to walk right in my front door.DO NOT rent here.
Garrett in the leasing office was awesome, very kind and helpful and I have no regrets of choosing Edison Riverside as my place to live here in Austin! Also thank you to Texas for helping me carry some of my furniture in from my car, couldn’t have done it without you guys!
Rented a vrbo here, place is infested with bugs, do not recommend. Gnats, flies, horse flies everywhere, ever shelf of the fridge, in the halls, massive infestation. The owner of the vrbo, only apologized and said they were not aware. Disgusting health code violation.
Assistant Community Director Sara Zuniga helped my partner and me find our favorite two-bedroom apartment at this beautiful complex. We had less than a month to find a new place, and she was wonderful during the entire application process and was always available to answer our questions!
Just signed on with these amazing people and I have to say the process was so easy! I just moved here 3 weeks ago and desperately needed to find a place! The staff was extremely professional, gave me a great deal and I am so happy to call this place home for the next 10 months!
We are approaching the end of our lease here at Edison Apartments and as much as I would like to recommend this place, after reviewing our maintenance requests (Excluding the snowpacolypse in February), you will see below we have 14 maintenance requests for the SAME issue with our air conditioning since September of 2020. You will also see that I shared the completed status below. Typically there is a reset that maintenance can do on the unit to temporarily resolve the problem. Today, 12/30/21 is the 4th night in a row without any A/C or Heat.I reached out via email last night to leasing and management and have only received updates today when I made the effort to follow-up downstairs. I was told twice I would receive calls and once that a community notice would be sent. Our unit is one with floor to ceiling windows (and is over 1,200 sq feet), so the only window that opens to ventilate is a small window in the bedroom. This does not provide adequate ventilation for the apartment (which would be fine if A/C was working).#615475- 9/5/2020 - AC Not Cooling- 9/8/2020 - Completed#626559- 12/12/2020 - AC Not Cooling- 12/14/2020 - Completed#627620- 12/22/2020 - Thermostat/AC not working (CH150, no heat or AC)- 12/22/2020 - Completed#630902- 1/22/2021 - Thermostat/AC not working (CH150, no heat or AC)- 1/22/2021 - Completed#634540- 2/23/2021 - Thermostat/AC not working (CH150, no heat or ac)- 2/24/2021 - Completed#635452- 3/1/2021 - Thermostat/AC not working (CH150, no heat or ac)- 3/1/2021 - Completed#649207- 6/17/2021 - Thermostat/AC not working (CH150, no heat or ac)- 6/18/2021 - Completed#649218- 6/18/2021 - Thermostat/AC not working (CH150, no heat or ac)- 6/18/2021 - CompletedNotes from above: Hi Edison Team, this is the 5th time this year that weve had at least a night of no air conditioning not including the snowpocalypse (which is out of everyones control). Lived here for a year, experienced a week of no water and no electricity during the snow storm.Over a month of no AC during summer and my apt getting flooded due to AC malfunctions. Now Im writing this review to shed some light on the practices of this leasing office and the corp entity who owns it.I moved out in mid August 2021 and now its 11/19/21, been over 90 days and I still have not received my security deposit + overpayment of rent.Contacted office multiple times through email and calls. They refuse to provide me proof and confirmation of sending the check and now are telling me it would take another 30 days to process the check. If the office decides to reply to this review, just know that theyre trying to cover themselves with a canned response.
Gotta give Ana, the leasing manager and the maintenance team a huge shout out. I just moved in this week and they have taken care of any concerns that I expressed in a very quick time frame. Their communication was amazing and always were willing to go the extra mile for me. Highly recommend!
Be careful about the apartment you want to lease!!!!. I chose an apartment that wasnt ready (1144), they didnt update the moving out date on their system, and it overlapped with my moving in date (Bianca Casiano-Mercado was exchanging mails with me regarding this topic). Then I went to the complex, and they offered me another option, but I wouldnt say I liked it. I paid the deposit + fees (around 400USD), and they told me I would get the refund. After two months I havent received my refund check. They havent responded to my emails. Another thing that I also pointed out was the lack of cleaning in the courtyard. There were dog feces everywhere, and the smell was unbearable, Sara Zuniga told me that the people didnt pick after their pets, and they didnt clean very often. My mistake was not reading very carefully the comments down here. The staff is not very helpful, they just apologize and dont give solutions, that is frustrating.
I am a current resident of Edison. In summary, the apartment is beautiful, but the service and support from the staff is deplorable. If you’re not OK living in a nice building that has bad management / staff that will fail you whenever something goes wrong, you should look somewhere else. Following the winter storm in Texas in 2021, some of the units in our building were damaged. Construction to improve the units began a few months later and ruined our living experience. The noise and physical pounding of the wall made it impossible to work in the unit. You could feel and hear the drilling through the wall. The issue was so bad that our side of the wall was damaged with a crack down the middle and debris fell on our bed. All of this would have been bad but understandble if the apartment had communicated in advance, but they did not. They gave no advance notice that this would be occurring. After sharing this feedback with the apartment, we were assured that the apartment would do better by giving advance notice in the future. Unfortunately, a few months later, when the construction continued, we were again disturbed. Even coworkers asked what all of the background noise was on our Zoom calls. The apartment messed up in the first place by not notifying us. Then, they made it worse by saying they’d fix the problem, but not following through. Finally, they offered no compensation for the bad experience and even laughed at us when we notified them. This is just one example of how the staff / a management here fails to do their jobs. I could also speak to the terrible package room that results in lost, damaged, and stolen boxes for residents, or a dozen other issues. If you care about being in an apartment that cares about its residents, look somewhere else.

Sara Zuniga is literally the best! She has always been so helpful and respectful for us. We needed several unusual accommodations with tight deadlines, and she was able to help us out multiple times -- communicated well and clear to us, kept her words, offered helpful advices. Sara made our stays at Edison feel very homey and enjoyable!
I’m a current Resident at Edison and I couldn’t ask for a better living experience. They’ve a recent turn over in staff and it has definitely reflected onto the property. Priscilla helped me with my application process and she was communicative, professional and attentive. The community is clean, improving and it is in one of the best locations in Austin! Would recommend to any new comers to the city.
Sara was absolutely AMAZING to work with. We worked with her from out-of-state and her communication and customer service far exceeded our expectations. She answered all emails and calls promptly. If you’re looking to move into the Edison I highly recommend working with Sara!
What can I say? This apartment is absolutely amazing. We got a fantastic special of 6 weeks free since its a new property and we got an insanely large yard - way bigger than Ive ever seen at any other apartment. Our dog is the happiest! The style of the unit is beautiful and so are the amenities like the pool and rooftop. So far we have not had any issues with noise which is great since we are on the first floor. Ive lived in Austin for almost 12 years and have seen the Riverside area change over time. Though its still in a very transitional period, its hard to beat the proximity to downtown, and the 704. So far management has been great even with the switching of hands and hopefully that continues. As of now, I would highly recommend Edison!
My daughter was visiting her friends and was towed by this apartment complex not once but twice. Why? The towing company told her they provided FREE signs to designate visitor parking and tow-free zones to this apartment complex, but none were visible to visitors. At $240 per tow, this apartment needs signage to warn visitors where NOT to park. What an inconvenience targeting unknowing victims. Poor, poor customer service. What a racket! Beware of this complexs irresponsible practices. I will continue to post bad reviews for Edison Apartments poor excuse of parking rules.
I have lived here since March of this year and I haven’t had an issue prior to this, but the air conditioning has inexplicably been out for over a week now. It has displaced me from my (moderately expensive) home, and no one at the front office likes to answer the phone and cannot seem to provide any information or updates as to when this horrendous issue will be fixed. For these reasons, I’m giving Edison 2 stars.
Have to say that my experience thus far has been excellent. Start to finish I have felt taken care of. Brandon, the professional leasing agent who I’ve worked with has been amazing. Very professional, informative, helpful and most importantly, honest.Thank you Brandon for excellent service! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a place in Austin.
My fantastic Edison experience has been completely due to Lexi, she is so amazing!! I had a somewhat complicated situation where I moved here from another state and subleased an apartment in the middle of the contract so I expected some bumps in the process but Lexi made my transition to a new state and apartment building SEAMLESS and now she’s helping me renew to stay at Edison, something that may not have happened if she hadn’t been here to be so accessible and helpful. If you have any questions or concerns, go to Lexi!
Highly recommend, moving into the Edison apartments. From the start they’ve made applying, moving and touring such a breeze. Consultants, such as Bailey are there to guide you every step of the way. Bailey has been awesome and so helpful. She has went above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly in my new apartment. The Edison layouts are beautiful, renovated and the pool is killer. Great location with downtown views. Thrilled, to be a resident!
Time to change this review just like things changed around here, I like to echo words of some of my neighbors, you should look somewhere else. I too have this AC issue with no response to my communications, I mention concessions for my inconvenience and as you can guess crickets. The one solution they provided, although being 2 weeks after they told me it wouldnt be fixed in 24 hours a little portable unit that is just isn’t cutting it.
I am 4 months into my one year lease.Unit: 5/5My unit is beautiful. All my appliances are new. My favorite thing is that I hear no one-- literally. Its like the walls have concrete between them. I never hear my next door neighbor, my neighbors across, or beneath. This was a huge consideration for me since my last apartment was noisy. It is not noisy here. Sometimes I feel like I live alone in this big building. I hardly ever hear anyone walking in the hallways.Maintenance: 4/5I have a very mild roach problem. Whats good about this apartment is that they have a pest control, who comes every Friday if you put in a work order. My work orders are addressed within a matter of days-- I have not had major issues here. Unfortunately the maintenance men enter if you do not respond to knocks, even when it is requested that they call to make an appointment, which they do not. This is a problem for me. Always they are respectful, though.Community: 3/5People here do not wear their masks. People here are nosy. But people clean up after their pets, do not make lots of noise in the garages or on their patios, and are respectful in the gyms and lobby area. Mostly young professionals live here and they are kind.Location: 4/5I knew what I was getting into on East Riverside. Yes there is a shanty town near the complex. Yes it is a major road and people honk and sirens sound. But you are downtown, and Zilker is a quick 15 minute drive, and there is a nice park nearby with a walking trail. HEB is only a few minutes away. Several food trucks surround the area, as well as Emos and Come and Take it Live. A 24hr coffee shop is nearby. I love this area.Office Staff: 5/5One of the better office staff that I have had the privilege of working with. They are professional and handle situations well. They are fair. They are considerate. I enjoy all of them. My renters experience was easy, my application process was quick, and my tour was lovely. This is a great team.Overall: 4/5The Edison is a nice place to live. I feel extremely safe here- I trust my community. As of this review, there are two security guards who walk the premises at night-- I have seen them escorting away homeless. Security rounds the hallways occasionally, and when they speak to me they are kind. I have not had issues with my mail or packages here. Though it is a bit pricey compared to other complexes in the area, I feel it is worth it. When I host company, they are always impressed with the complex. I am happy with my decision to live here.
Edison has been a great place to live in, and the management has been nothing less than superb. Although I had some reservations initially around continuing my stay, they work with you to figure out the best possible solution. Highly recommend if youre looking for a safe and well-maintained apartment complex with close to zero maintenance issues.
I have been living at the Edison for over a month now, and my experience has been fantastic so far. Carissa and Tiffany go above and beyond (Im sure the other agents do too, I just havent worked with them) to make you happy. The apartments are very nice and modernized, large, and quiet. Not to mention, the views from the complex of downtown are spectacular.
It was a nice property and I enjoyed being one of the first people to move into the new building. It was usually quiet and no disturbances (after the first 4 months that I lived there when the construction was complete). The maintenance team was great. They responded to all of my requests within a very short period. Kudos to them.Cons:My car got towed from a very faded crossed out spot in the garage in my building (no idea why it was crossed out anyway - it seemed like a perfectly legal spot to me) and the building refused to compensate me. That hit me with $200 and had to go to an extremely sketchy tow truck lot at midnight.Fire alarms went off multiple times when I lived there, including at 3am on a week night. They were all false alarms. The building was constructed very poorly with very clear low cost materialsHidden fees they they do not tell you about up front (they even told me the utilities would be the cheapest Ive ever seen when I signed my lease)- its about $130 a month for a one bedroom. No on site security, No security camerasProperty took about 3 months before they started taking Covid somewhat seriously. People congregating at the pool area without masks. Package room is an extreme health hazard. Did not feel safe living there.Pretty sketchy neighborhood, not great location although it is close to downtownI paid these people nearly $1800 a month for this. Totally not worth it. Just live across the street for 700 bucks. I feel like I deserve a refund and that my money was thrown away. Would not recommend living here regardless of what anyone else on this page says
I am writing this review to specifically praise one of the maintenance men that helped me the other day, Seth. Seth was so kind and respectful the entire time he was helping me. The type of interaction that you walk away from with a restored faith in humanity. I am glad the place I live at is hiring individuals like him for their maintenance crew, because I’ve lived places where maintenance men truly did not seem to give a *bleep* and Seth made me feel like he actually cared about getting my problem solved! A+++ to him! Thank you Seth!
Just moved here from Minnesota and am absolutely loving my new home at the Edison. Teddie has been the BEST and most welcoming leasing agent I have ever worked with. She goes above and beyond each day to make sure I feel welcome here! Also, Andrew from the Operations Team is amazing. He is so attentive and goes the extra mile to lend a hand - even if a tenant’s request is outside his day to day responsibilities. Great crew, great home, highly recommend.
If you’re looking for beautiful apartments with GREAT amenities, you’ve found it here at Edison! We have been here for almost a year and can’t wait to renew! We are less then 5 minutes away from downtown and can see it from our patio! Staff is always so friendly and Brandon, Rebecca and Lucas are always so helpful. Worth every penny!!
I’ve overall enjoyed my stay here and am considering renewing which I’ve been holding off on.Sometimes I do miss having a bathtub due to their shower only units. Speaking of the bathroom, design fail to not have a under-mount sink in there. They do have Google fiber. One of their reps came by recently, nice person.Neighbors have been generally okay. Every once in a while there might be loud music in the middle of the nights. One neighbor gave me a note she got a new dog and to say sorry for the potential noise which was kind.People buy door mats here. Felt compelled to get one when everyone else around me did.Elevators need occasional wipe down and cleansing, particularly the back entrance one for building one due to sweat smell that has been there for a year now. I am guessing due to dogs running around in the dog park.Gnats in the winter was somewhat of a problem, they stick to the netting of windows and patio door.My patio view is nice with full trees in the spring and summer, but a view of dead trees and the not yet gentrified apartments next door in the winter.I wonder why we have valet trash when the trash chutes are so convenient. I never used it since it was just one apartment down. Perhaps they pick up the trash from the chutes too. Also do wonder why the room that said Recycle on my floor when I first moved in never got recycling bins and remain locked. They have since removed the sign.Dislike the recently added one lane left turn onto Riverside but nothing to do with the apartment to be fair.
I toured with a different management company in December and signed with the new management. They gave me hardly any basic info when I moved in and definitely talk down when I have a question because of it.They are also very poor at communication. Many examples, but the most painful one was 3 weeks after i moved in, the security system for my building kept cutting out and they didnt acknowledge it for a couple days. I found out by coming home after a night out and had to climb up onto my balcony and fell back on my side, which resulted in a gnarly bruise on my side and head.Plus the spider problem is bad compared to other places I have lived in Austin. I clean my balcony once a week and there are still spiders everywhere and lay their eggs in the panels. I find spiders almost daily in my apartment.Pro: It is dog friendly and the ceilings are really high so i dont hear my neighbors very much. But high ceilings are also making it hard to kill some spiders. The business center looks like itll be nice to use when they reopen it. But they are still charging us the full amenities fee, so I dont think they are in a hurry to find safe ways to reopen. I also really like how light it is in the apartments with the big windows.Overall, it depends on what you are looking for. If those couple things wouldnt bother you, youll probably like it here. I am big on communication when it comes to where I live and I hate spiders, so I probably wont renew unless they can make changes before then.
Whilst the property is beautiful, you get terrible service from the office. Those working in the office have now begun to dress up and look somewhat proper but are usually rude and do not provide solutions, are often on their personal phones and they themselves do not adhere to the “COVID” protocols they themselves put into place, such as wearing masks and maintains 6 foot distance from each other. You pay an amenity fee, but Presidium Property Management is not opening all amenities nor providing a discount for the 11 weeks amenities were completely unavailable and the 3 weeks since they began to be minimally available.- a business center that has yet to ever be open for residents, yet is listed as an amenity on the website- club room is extremely noisy when you want to work. If you turn off the communal TV, you get told it must stay on and they confiscate the remote- pool is restricted to office hours excluding weekends with a restriction of being able to reserve a spot once a week for only 1 hour and 45 minutes, therefore not allowing you to actually use the amenities you pay for- only one gym is open and also restricted to office hours, excluding weekends therefore not allowing you to actually use the amenities you pay for- no dog washing station as mentioned on website- rooftop lounge is locked and unavailable, therefore not an available amenityA selling point of this complex is the “entry gallery” to which the door is constantly locked so you cannot enjoy it. They also lock all the front doors making it a huge inconvenience for residents retrieving packages from the package room and delivery personnel during business hours.Security wise: you are provided a key fob to get into the building but sometimes they turn it off to where you don’t need it and just about anyone can open the door or the door remains unlocked. There are “gates” (just arms) for the parking garages, but the garage to the main building only has a gate available for the bottom level to which half of the available spots are “reserved” for $50 a month whereas the top level is completely open with no gate so just about anyone can easily get to your car to break in, steal parts or even steal the car.Overall, the property is beautiful but not presented in the best way by current personnel, minus the maintenance team (who are so nice and hardworking) and management style. If you want to pay a lot to live in a new place but not enjoy it all, this is the place!
As a resident, I have enjoyed my time here at Edison. I appreciate the quick response of the maintenance team and friendly staff. I would like to thank the Assistant Manager, Rebecca for helping me with an issue I had logging in to my account the other day which led to this review. I would definitely recommend living here to others.
I have lived in the Edison apartments for about 11 months, here are my personal opinions of what it is like to live here.Plusesa. Covered car concrete garageb.Mostly younger professionals and university studentsc. Generally respectful and helpful fellow rentersd. Google Fibere. Convenient HEB plus grocery store and other retail businesses a block awayf. the apartment complex is only a little over a year oldg. A very nice pool, to relax and hang out with friendsi. A fully equipped gym area with lots of room to move aroundConsa. A huge homeless encampment less than one city block away along with daily EMS and city Police calls it generatesb. No on-site security to keep a lid on the 1st floor apartment patio thefts and frequent garage parked car break-insc. No visible security cameras in the interior hall waysd. All the extra fees besides the monthly base rente. A revolving door of property management managers and maintenance workersf. The apartment complex itself is built with very cheap materials, already the appliances are breaking and the particle board walls swellingg. The walls and especially the floors are very thin, if you plan to live here please get a topfloor apartment, the neighbors below will hate youh. The large barking dogs left alone in the apartments all day... dont expect to take great napsi. the smell of urine soaked public grass around the apartment complex from such dogsAustin has a de-fund police movement, use your own judgement what risk your willing to take on with renting an apartment in the area
I have the BEST experience when touring The Edison apartments! The staff was so friendly, professional and willing to answer all of our questions. A big thank you to Leanne Garcia, Bailee and Claire for helping my boyfriend and I find our new home! I highly recommend The Edison!
So far, so great!I was worried about all the construction when I moved in, but besides a little dust, it has turned out beautifully! The staff is friendly and helpful. Carissa was nothing but helpful and even answered my (very) long email in detail when I had questions after I moved in.The few minor issues Ive had have been resolved quickly and professionally.I feel safe and happy! I am so pleased I chose this apartment complex!
I went to tour this community yesterday as well as many others around the area and this was a great experience! Jacquelyn gave me an outstanding customer service experience and she pointed out all the amenities and how the building will develop, she was very professional and she convinced me on why I will need to live here. Also, I met Christyan the community Manager, he was very nice and after I toured he came and introduced himself. I will definitely be coming back and I am excited to see the finished product and sign my lease here :)
It is a good apartment with really great amenities (especially the pool) but the walls are pretty thin, so id suggest living on the top floor. I had some noise issues and ended up switching apartments, but Amy in the leasing office was extremely helpful and understanding.
I would like to appreciate the excellent service and professional experience I received from the leasing agents. My move in date was great and accommodated to my time that was needed. Maintenance staff went above and beyond expectations with dealing with my work orders. Andrew was very professional and exceeded my expectations. Modern apartments very updated and amenities very clean ver satisfied.
I moved into the Edison in March and it has by far been the best place I have ever lived in. It’s hard to think of anything I dislike about the community, unit I live in and the staff as a whole. Christyan and his staff are the most helpful, responsive and kind people that a tenant could ask for!If you are looking for a home there is no need to look any further. The Edison is as good as it gets!
Plumbing issues and hidden fees. NO RUNNING WATER FOR HOURS AT A TIME, this is the 3rd time we are left without running water to the entire property and this time there is no time window or estimate provided as to when it will be back on. To make matters worse, blonde female at front desk will treat you with a terrible attitude stating that she is not a plumber so she can’t go fix the problem herself. Be ready to pay a minimum of $40 extra a month for Valet trash that does not even do their job properly because they will not take anything that is not in the actual provided bin. Meaning they will take your trash and then leave the pizza box on your front door for you to pick up. I could write a book on how over priced this place is but I don’t have the time. To be continued...
The Edison has a great pool and many other forward thinking amenities like a fridge int he package room for your meal prep deliveries. Most importantly though the NEW management - Presidium - is awesome. They are courteous, helpful, prompt and professional. This is epitomized by their manager JJ. We all know that management of an apartment complex makes or breaks the community and JJ and her team absolutely make the Edison what it is.
I just moved into The Edison, and I couldn’t be happier. I had the pleasure of working with Amelia Kaul, one of the onsite specialists. She is quite literally THE friendliest leasing agent I have ever encountered. Amelia is professional, knowledgeable about the property, and she just has a way of making you feel taken care of. I highly recommend her, and this community!
One of the worst apartment complexes I have ever moved in to. The amount of shady characters patrolling the streets and complex is unbelievable. Construction all day and night, someone has even died this year during the construction of the property. I moved in with my puppy because the claim this place is “super pet friendly”, but it’s not, one week in to our stay my dog had a nail in her paw. Thousands of dollars at the vet on top of outrageous rent prices to live right in the most ghetto and crime ridden part of Austin. Do not move here! Please protect yourself.
Wow! I never normally feel so compelled to write these reviews, but if I can help in any way to guide other transplants or Austinites toward finding the living accommodations they seek, then thats what Ill do! I am a transplant from North Carolina who arrived at the Edison towards the beginning of the year. Within five minutes I was immediately sold on joining their little community. There are so many compelling reasons to live here at the Edison, but I could be here all day/night listing them! I could talk about the incredible amenities and state of the art...well...EVERYTHING they offer but I fear that I dont do them justice so Ill list a few here: The 24/7 gym, the cutting edge cycle room w/instructor classes avail, the top notch architectural delight that is their pool and outside grill area. Which, by the way rivals any Ive seen not only in Texas, but in the entire country, the brand new apt spaces with state of the art appliances, or the most insane view of downtown Austin in the area) Instead, it was the people that sold me. The absolutely phenomenal team they have assembled in their leasing office is highly trained, extremely professional, and have always been there to solve any issues or questions I have had. Christian, the leasing office manager and the point man for leading Edison and indirectly, E. riverside towards a future that the City of Austin strives to attain. If you have the opportunity to meet him you will immediately be impressed by his candor, compassion, and professionalism! Dont be surprised when you hear his name more around Austin as a pivotal piece and force for forging the trails of innovation, sustainability, and compassion in this great Lone Star State! If you want to live in luxurious apartments with awesome neighbors, and need a leasing team who are among the best ive ever encountered then look no further! So go and schedule a walk through and see the premier luxury apartments available in the Austin area today!Thomas Edison once said, If there is a better way to do it - find it. Mr. Edison would be proud to have his name associated with the Edison Apartments! They heeded that advice and Texas sized it with a dash of Wow!
Just last week I had stayed at one of the many Airbnb’s that were located there. At the Airbnb I had requested said that check-in was around 6pm so I when I had got there, bc they had emailed me all the needed information to get into the apartment, the first thing I saw was a bed that was still topped with dirt sheets and a whole bunch of towels just in a pile on the bathroom floor. And two cups in the sink as well as two bowls and coffee still in the coffee pot. The reason why I don’t give them less then 3 stars is bc they got me another apartment. But people come’on do your Jobs like how ur supposed too.
The place is like a warzone. Already one construction worker was killed due to lack of safety regulations, but theyre bringing in new tenants anyway when its far from finished and the property is so dangerous. And then add on that its in a dangerous neighborhood, why would I spend my hard earned money to live at a place like this?
The building is made of cheap material. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. I was on the second floor, the entire apartment is shaking when people above are waking. There is no security staff and the building is a maze, good luck to call the cops to make people stop partying at 4AM.
Ive been living at the Edison for a year and just renewed my lease. Here are a few key take aways about the place:1. The staff is extraordinarily helpful. Haley Moncivais (head of sales) has been nothing short of professional and genuine.2. The amenities are lovely. The view of the city from the pool deck is unlike any other in the area. The gym could use a little work but thats something thats on their agenda and Im confident theyll execute on it.3. The location is perfect to get in and around the city. I frequent the east side and its less than a 5 minute uber to get to E6th.I just signed on for another 12 months and its for a reason.Keep up the great work, Edison Team!
I just moved in within the last month and Jocelyn has been very helpful with the transition! Even going the extra mile to get my mail for me while waiting for my key to arrive. The are doing lots of renovations going in here it seems, and they making the place nice. Great view of the Austin skyline from the pool!
I came to tour a 2 bedroom with my cousin on 7/15 and absolutely loved the apartment and all amenities. Texas, did a great job walking us through the complex as well as finding us the best deal possible. Texas made the overall experience of moving to a new city feel like home already. Hoping to move in soon!
Just moved in and love it already! The staff is super helpful, and Texas made sure I had all the info I needed to make an informed decision about moving here and also showed me how to make my move as easy as possible. The amenities are great and the apartment is beautiful.
My roommate and I were struggling to find a place to live until my main man GARRETT logged us in!! He’s the coolest, friendliest, most helpful guy I’ve encountered in a while! Made the entire application and move in process seamless, even with both of us being out of state at the time! All the staff are great, but GARRETT?! I mean come on…..

2022-07-01My husband and I moved in this month and we absolutely love our new apartment! Jocelyn was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us with our new place. We had a few maintenance issues and they were taken care of immediately. Their leasing and maintenance team are awesome people and very friendly! I also like that they have a security guard at night that looks after the place. The view from our balcony overlooks downtown Austin and has a view of the pool as well. We’re so happy to call Edison our new home.

2022-01-19I moved from Houston to Austin. I cant express enough the professionalism from Morgan in assisting me with the application. She is very knowledgeable and kind. The rest of the staff were very helpful as well and ensured that I got taken care of in a short notice. Bianca and Sara made sure my concerns and questions were answered 👏I would highly recommend Edison Apartments to anyone. So far my experience has been outstanding 👍

2022-07-01Jocelyn was so helpful in the entire process of my moving in. From the first day of my checking out the apartment, to going over units, floor plans, and specific locations in the building of those units, I got an incredible apartment with a fantastic view of downtown. Jocelyn was instrumental in finding the perfect apartment. Ive lived in a lot of apartments, and she is by far the best leasing agent Ive ever worked with. Thank you Jocelyn!

2022-07-21I moved into Edison this month and have had an amazing experience so far! I worked with Texas who gave a great tour of the property and made the application process go by smoothly. Moving in was easy for me and Texas has been very accommodating for any small issues I’ve had with my new apartment. Overall, its been great living here and with the improvements Edison is making I’m sure it will get even better.

2022-05-07I recently toured the Edison and I will say that this property is amazing!! The new team took time to walk me through all the improvements they have made and/or making to make this property shine even brighter. The views here are absolutely beautiful. All of the team at the Edison are very friendly and you can tell they are really invested in the community. I didn’t sign a lease because I do not know if I’m moving to Austin, but if I do I will be sure to move to the Edison. Great work.

2022-05-11I really enjoy living at the Edison! We recently got new ownership and are going through some changes but most of them are for the best. If you look through previous reviews from before the new ownership you will see that the issues we have now have been going on for years. I’m not sure why everyone is blaming the new company but my impression is that they are working really hard and most everything is out of their control. I give 5 stars to the new company and the employees!

2022-07-20Been a resident at the Edison for about a month now and had wonderful experience. Jocelyn was super helpful with my move-in process despite slight hiccups and unforeseen circumstances she made everything very smooth and easy! Anything I needed, she was ready and willing to assist with. I also love all of the amenities that the building offers! The pool is always a great time and the view of the city is amazing. The new property management group took over in March, I believe, and they’ve been working hard to renovate the building while still managing day to day concerns of the residents. I appreciate the teams diligent effort to keep us all happy and provide a pleasant living situation for everyone!

2022-06-04Im new to the complex and had nothing short of a wonderful experience getting set up! Garrett in the leasing office walked me through everything, answered my many many questions and always had a sense of friendly professionalism that I really appreciated. He did a walk through of the unit with me so I got the opportunity to point out anything that needed to be fixed, which wasnt much the unit was pretty spotless!Im really glad I chose this place to live. It seems like the people in charge care about client experience and are making a lot of exciting changes to the property!

2022-05-26EDIT - Guys, we went 15 days without ac BUT the onsite team was amazing at communicating with us and responding to our questions. We only slept 1 night without ac and the following day we had a portable AC unit provided. I know this isn’t perfect or ideal but the Connor group really is trying to do right by us and giving their best effort. The last company left this property an absolute nightmare. The trash issue still isn’t resolved but I’m sure it’s on the list of priorities. Really happy with this!!!Edit - down a star bcs my AC is out and it’s 91 degrees outside. Error code PH.Over the last 30 days, the new management team has made it a point to get this property cleaned up and in livable condition (including unit walk throughs.) We all understand that we pay extremely high rent for what the property is today. They have upgraded the floors from concrete to vinyl, we now have a functioning pool (that has not been functioning since last summer,)we have functioning AC (prior company left us 40 days without and only a $250 rent credit), they have completely renovated the dog park (almost done) and increased security with new cameras and are working on a gate. The management team has been extremely responsive and even scheduled a 1:1 meeting within the first week of them arriving where I could address my previous concerns and highlight any other questions or concerns I had. Some areas of improvement - securing the doors with better locks, a security guard over night that walks the halls as we had 2 individuals try to enter using the keypad (thankfully we were home and had the deadbolt) a dog trash station between the Cromwell can and the dog park, and the odor in the hallways of trash is so strong it enters our apartment each time we open the door.. I don’t think 2 trash days/wk are enough. Likely will not renew as we need a larger unit and don’t want smart AC units.

2022-06-16Ive been a resident here for about a year and a half, and I absolutely love my apartment. Im in a corner studio, and its quite large for a studio. The balcony is also spacious and the view is amazing. Amenities are great and the pool also has a wonderful view of Downtown Austin. The staff is also amazing and Haley was super helpful in discussing lease renewals!
