I ate breakfast here for the first time and was very pleased. Whenever I try a new breakfast eatery, I order pancakes and use that to judge the establishment. Egg Haven passed with flying colors! I ordered the Papa Special - two pancakes, scrambled eggs, and applewood smoked bacon. The entire meal was delicious and ensured I will be coming back as soon as I can. I also ordered coffee. Both regular and decaf are delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was relaxing and clean. The wait staff was nice and accommodating. Next time you are looking for a place to grab breakfast, give Egg Haven a try.
So many delicious dishes it’s hard to pick a favorite, I must say that I will choose a variety plate… Or chicken & waffles!Eggs Haven is a great place to take your family to eat for breakfast or lunch!
Great food and service! Hashbrowns were cooked to order and were pleasantly not greasy. Coffee was hot and regularly filled. I am so happy they offer rye bread, and it is good, thick slices. I had veggie omelette no onions add cheese. Mother had mushroom and cheese omelette with a yummy biscuit. I absolutely love eggs, so when presented with breakfast I usually cannot resist. However, I am looking forward to trying a panni soon. Lots of young families and couples of all ages.
One of the best places for breakfast in HEB! I extremely rarely give out 5 stars for a restaurant, but really wish I could give this place 4.5 stars. It has a really huge breakfast menu (and a lunch one as well). My food was really tasty and there was a good size portion. Our server was really good at his job and a nice guy. He said that there are people out there not tipping their servers?!?!? Really people??? These guys barely make a little over $2 an hour. Not tipping is extremely rude! If you don’t like the service then tip 10% and the waiter will get the idea. Tipping nothing just seems like you forgot. If there’s a problem talk to your server or ask to see the manager, but don’t be rude!!!
Really great breakfast from this owner ran restaurant. He was actually back there cooking. Service was very friendly and professional.Great for lunch too! I just finished a delicious patty melt.
Food was ok. Eggs on omelet slightly underdone...some whites not cooked all the way. Black spots on avacado slices, two overripe strawberries in the berries. Mostly disappointed in the fresh squeezed orange juice that wasnt. Over $4 for an 8 oz glass. No way this was fresh squeezed!! No pulp, tasted like Minutemaid...
Traveling on a mini vacation. Our hotel didnt offer breakfast. We packed up and headed here. & it didnt disappoint!!Service was quick & friendly. Waitress was knowledgeable about the items on the menu. The food was AMAZING! & we ate it all!! I dont think I have one single complaint.Pictured below is mine and husbands plate. He got the Iron Man omelette & I got the veggie omelette. Both came with Pancakes. 🤤 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The foods and the service of this place was AMAZING! The foods were super delicious, amazing quality and they gave a whole bunch of food. The staffs there were very nice to us and we all enjoyed the service. First experience here and I am willing to revisit.
Cranberry is definitely the star of the turkey wrap - any bite without it is bland/dry. It also is more greens than any other ingredient. The coffee was disappointing but the fries were nice. Service was initially very good, but kept decreasing in quality.
The food was good but the egg cook didnt know anything but well done eggs. I asked for over easy and got them where yolk was partially dried up and barely a run. My mom ordered poached eggs and the same thing got them with barely a run in the yolk. She sent them back for a second try and got them back the exact same way... barely a run. So the cook was having an off day of didnt know how to cook eggs!
Very good comfort food! Its tucked away just off the frwy. Very clean and the food is lip smacking good! Service is the best for breakfast- time. Great place to enjoy your food and company without blaring music.
We decided to try this place after our original breakfast place started to fall off. We were NOT disappointed!! We came kinda early so it wasnt too crowded. Food came quickly and was hot. I had the avocado Benedict and grits. My hubs had the chicken fried steak. It was all delicious. I ended up getting a side of sausage cause there wasnt any meat on my Benedict. Coffee was good. OJ was ok, def fresh squeezed. Service was good. Would def recommend and will most def be back!

Moving from a city that has great food, to a city where the food seems to be hit or miss (mainly missed so far). I must say that Egg Haven satisfied my taste buds with their delicious breakfast menu!
Found Egg Haven online. I had the Denver omelette it was DELICIOUS! Big chunks of ham, green bell peppers and onions. We will be coming back.

Holy chalupas!! Go... now!Egg Haven in Hurst is Ah-mazing! I had the Mushroom & Swiss Burger and Pat had the Reuben Sandwich. It was SO good! They are a family-owned restaurant that just opened this past Monday. The menu had a little of everything on it. Honestly, it was hard to decide what I wanted to try because it all sounded so good! We will definitely be going back... SOON!Oh, and they are available on UberEats too!
I had the Hobo skillet. Very generous portion. I had over med eggs, cooked perfectly. Biscuit was soft, and I liked that it was split and toasted. Nice touch! Place is exceptionally clean, and prices are fair.

My family and I have been here a couple of times, and both times we’ve been so impressed. The food is delicious, the menu has so many options (even our two-year-old gobbled your her good), and the servers are so nice, helpful, and not overly-attentive. It’s all just right. We will continue to visit this place - it’s our new favorite!

Regina is such a good server. When my friend and I came to eat, she was very friendly good banter and very fast. We never had to ask for refills and she made we had everything we needed to enjoy our breakfast.
Breakfast was delicious. I went during the breakfast rush and they were busy. The breakfast was incredible. Portions were big and the service was great.
Currently sitting here at the table after being seated, and completely forgetten about. had to get the guy cleaning tables to take our drink order and find someone willing to take our order. The hostess at the door finally came to take our order. She had no knowledge of the menu. Which wasnt a problem I appreciate her trying. I will tip both of them today I understand restaurants are under staffed and short handed, but at least aknowldge the people and let them know someone will be there soon. the other servers completely walked around waiting on the tables already seated and served until they had finished and paid before aknowldging my table and asking if we needed help.
Service is awful, we did get greeted and sat right away but no one came to our table for over 15 mins. A man who was cleaning tables had to go find someone to take care of us, the hostess finally came and got our drink order. She then had to go find a server. Let me add that there were only 2 other customers in the building. This server thought it was funny that we hadn’t been taken care of. I don’t care if the food is good, which I don’t know yet, I will never come back here.

I asked them to make me a Reuben Omelet which I have had when I was an over the road truck driver and havent been able to find it since. The were able to make it and was excellent. Huge proportions couldnt finish all my food.
Service sucks. Waited over 8 min just to get my check and the waiters attention! The food was ok, but not worth the price. Hashbrowns were over cooked, very mushy, the pancakes taste like they were premade.
I’m a big fan of the skillets! But if you ever try some of the Mexican inspired dishes just know not to get your hopes up because those aren’t worth it. Stick with American style dishes and you’ll be happy.
I have to assume that most of these reviews are on point. But my experience was less than stellar. Got seated right away which was fantastic. Went downhill from there. Sat down ordered drinks. Brought the wrong drink for my kiddo, not a big deal but when we asked to rectify it, we’re informed that what we ordered they didn’t even have currently (lemonade) even though the individual repeated it back to us when they sat the drinks down. Weren’t at the the table for 2 minutes at that point and were already being asked to order. Told them we weren’t ready, didn’t come back for close to 15 minutes. Once orders came out food was fantastic… big plus. However, then ran out of a couple of drinks. No one came back by to check on the food, check the table etc. had to get up and literally walk up front to get anyone’s attention to a refill. Of course to top it all off, once it was time to deliver the check, they were hovering by the table non stop trying to get it taken care of… real professionalism….. and then… wrong check…. Start to finish, just got worse and worse… girl didn’t seem to care about anything from the word go besides her tip.
Good food and good service. The pancakes are small but delicious. The cinnamon French toast was good. We tried the chicken carnitas skillet which was delicious and filling. The coffee is also good.
I am desperately trying to understand how this place has so many 5 star reviews. The food is disgusting. I ordered the corned beef with hash and eggs. The corned beef was from a can. I could tell from the first bite…mushy, hardly any of that unmistakably good corned beef flavor. My hash browns were not done and mushy. The entree dish had no flavor whatsoever. My husband had the breakfast croissant sandwich and hash browns. Others have mentioned their eggs being burned, his were burned as well. His hash browns were also not done and mushy. We tried this place by chance because their menu had yummy choices. 0/10 would recommend.

Wonderful choice for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Extensive and varied menu. We have been here several times and it’s always delicious. Best grits we’ve ever had! Friendly, efficient service. Reasonable prices. Restaurant is clean and bright. I mentioned the delicious grits to the owner and he not only brought a box to our table to show us the brand, but gave us the box to take home! That was one of the nicest gestures I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.
The coffee was good and some of the specialty items. The eggs and bacon were mediocre. When the food comes out less than 10 mins after you order it makes you wonder how freshly prepared it is. The wait staff is not attentive, many patrons were flagging down their waiter/waitress for service. Our waitress got the food and ticket to us quickly and came back only to take plates away and rush us on. When checking out, the majority of the wait staff (including our waitress) was sitting in the corner booths behind the register on their phones. We will not return.

Pancakes and waffles are good. Bacon is overcooked.On all three occasions I have eaten there the servers, male twice, female once, decided to not give me the coinage when I paid with cash..43, .02, .51 cents. Now that isnt going to bankrupt me but the decision to give the server or establishment my change is my choice, not theirs.When I asked the servers about it they seemed surprised I even asked about the missing money. I was told the last time she assumed I wouldnt mind.Count your money.

If you dont mind scorched/burnt eggs, this place isnt terrible. Today was my second visit and I specifically asked them not to burn the eggs in my breakfast burrito. Still burned, as were the eggs for the other 3 people that ordered them at my table. With a name like Egg Haven they better be on point or at the very least decent.Anything else you order is good.
Food is great.Our table and the floor around it was beyond dirty.The server was horrible. She was not friendly or sociable.We got no straws or silverware, we had to ask other servers.Then her ride was leaving and she pushed us to hurry and check out because she needed to go.

Egg Haven has yet to disappoint me. From breakfast to lunch, their food options are a great selection. Ive had a couple of items on their menu, and I can say I can try anything here and I will like it! Their staff is very welcoming and will continue to check on you during your visit!

Place was clean. Service was good. Not overly friendly but not rude either.The food was very good. Eggs were cooked just right. Grits were salted and had good flavor. Virginia ham was excellent. Add three pancakes and it made a breakfast feast.I never just give five star rating....it has to be earned. Egg Haven did just that. They earned it.
I have now enjoyed Egg Haven on four occasions since discovering it. Breakfast is my favorite meal, any time of the day. Each of my (our) visits to Egg Haven have been really good. Great Food + Great Service = Wonderful Experience. Its not fancy, but its a great place to eat. Its a place one feels welcome!
Awesome place to grab a healthy breakfast. Recently opened, very clean and inviting. Staff all worn masks. Service was great. I got the Keto spinach and mushroom omelette. Very good. I will order this meal to go in the future when I dont feel like cooking. I recommend this place. Rating: A+. Only open for breakfast and lunch (I believe).
Food had absolutely no flavor at all, we found this place on Uber eats, didn’t get any condiments like we requested. The chicken fried chicken was like eating Bubble gum just kept chewing it. Eventually had to throw it out, what a waist of 30$ for 2 meals..
We were seated immediately (and this on Easter Sunday morning!) Our server was great: prompt, conscientious, cheerful, and efficient. Our order (for a party of four) was ready in record time and the food was delicious. We had panini, chicken fried steak, a veggie griddle, and liver and onions. Great variety to the menu. This is our second visit there, and it wont be our last. Five plus stars!

Ordered from here this morning, it was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Ordered the Avocado Benedict and the kids’ French toast. The avocados were old, bruised, and had a rotten taste to them. The hollandaise was flavorless and watery. The side of fruit was underripe. Poached eggs were over cooked. The French toast was soggy and cold, the side of bacon was chewy. Just all around not good.
This restaurant is typically amazing. However that was not the case today. They served black burnt bacon. Both my husband and myself. Was shocked that was even delivered to the table. Stefan was sarcastic and rude. I hope this will get to a manager that will take this poor review to heart
Hey----well this was my 2nd.-time to Egg Haven, taking a good friend, and fellow co-worker at UPS, and it was awesome as usual, just like the first time that I went with a very good friend; my boss at UPS;and my family member-(Ken Horton) all on one about a month ago, based on his highly regarded recommendation! He is always right, and always spot on, when it comes to food! LOL!! The food, as well as the excellent customer service is always the best, and deserves 10-stars!! Thanks!!-----------Paul Barfield!!
I’m so in love with this place!!! The food is bomb and the portions are just perfect. Since I’ve been here in TX I have not found a place that met my expectations taste wise, but this spot is definitely it!! I even crave them for dinner some days. Unfortunately have to catch them during the day! But the wait makes me want them so much more! ⭐️
Our waitress was very nice and attentive , but the food was gross. Everything was mushy and/or cold.. it’s like nursing home food. No seasoning, served cold bacon, I literally couldn’t chew the pancakes, but you could probably drink them from a straw. The French toast looked weird and tasted worst. The toast was okay tho.

We had breakfast this morning. My Country Benedict was cooked perfect and tasted great. My husband had the 3 meat skillet with toast and really enjoyed it. Social distancing and masks were worn. Very pleasant employees. Service was very quick. We will go back most definately..
2nd time eating at Egg Haven today. Good food, quick and reasonable priced but the hidden gem here is Amanda. She is awesome. Friendly and attentive.
I ate here for the first time this week. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The seated us right away and took our drink order. Our coffee and water came very fast. The food selection was ample. Plenty of choices for the five of us. We ate here for breakfast and our food was cooked perfectly. This will be our new breakfast place.
This place has the best breakfast! My wife, daughter and myself love to ride up here on our Harleys on Sundays. Not much of a wait most of the time. We have waited upb10 to 15 minutes for a table. That only tells me the place has good groceries!
They are not sanitizing or cleaning. It looks clean due to the minimalist aesthetic, but watched them clean tables and it was nothing of the sort, literally just wiped the table with a damp rag. Didnt spray the table, didnt touch the seats, condiments ignored, etc. I saw the cook not wearing a mask. Food was OK, but nothing special. Service was mediocre, after dropping off our food we never saw our waitress again until we had been sitting and waiting for our check. Definitely not ever returning.
First visit but not the last! Clean, inviting, great service, delicious food. Glad to have another choice in our area for breakfast. Will be going back.
First time visiting this place.Food was fresh and had good portions.Restaurant is clean and didnt have tables sitting with dirty dishes.The service in the other hand needs improvement.Hostess was friendly. But they looked to be short staffed.We WAITED 12 minutes once we were sat down. Brought it to their attention..... For some reason, the guys section we sat in didnt seem to care to be our server. The lady server from another section had to come over and take care of us- she was even working on her birthday. She was great and attentive & listened to our allergy needs.The same guy wearing a ballcap immediately served the table right next to us.I strongly believe that we were not his skin color of preference because he did it to the nom caucasian family who came in after.Watching the tables from there, he was only attentively at the caucasian tables and left the other skin colors to the two ladies.Not cool at all.We can take our money and busines somewhere else. For that we give it one star.
We dont make it out this way much but a good place to swing by if going to or from the dfw airport. Clean and huge plates!
Very good food, light, fresh, and not greasy at all, without any of the gimmicks that now plague certain national breakfast restaurant chains. The dining space was clean, open, airy, and uncluttered. Service was prompt and friendly. There was only one tiny hiccup with my first visit, that the order app didnt have the substitution I asked for, so the server (apparently) had to manually type in a note - certainly not worth lowering my opinion or rating.

Ive eaten at the egg Haven Cafe several times now. The first time I ordered the food was perfect, way above average. They even provided corn tortillas as a substitute for the flour tortillas, displayed on the menu. I greatly appreciated that, because I cannot eat the flour tortillas.The salsa is very good, I believe they make it fresh, very tasty. The eggs are always done, really to perfection, no burnt stuff on the eggs, veggies are done.The rub or the problem that I have now, with egg haven cafe, is the fact that they cannot follow instructions. They followed some of the instructions like, they didnt give me sour cream, thankfully. They did however give me flour tortillas, which I had to throw in the trash. Migas traditionally has corn tortilla strips on the top, which I dont care for, and generally, migas has a lot of peppers.My instructions were simple, and clear. I asked for no corn tortilla strips, and I asked for easy on the peppers. My order was loaded with peppers, and covered with corn tortilla strips. Now my pet peeve with any restaurant, is the fact that they cannot follow instructions.so I called the restaurant, and asked to speak to the manager. The person who answered the phone which I will not name, asked if he could help. I asked him if he was the manager. His response was well, I guess Im the manager today. When I told him the order was made incorrectly, he didnt offer to replace it, he didnt offer to refund my money, he simply said he hoped I would come in and try them again.There are plenty of places to eat in this town, so what do you think I will do?Now I will say once again, the food, on average, is very good. If you order off the menu with no special instructions, you will probably enjoy eating at egg Haven Cafe. If you use a delivery service like Uber eats, or DoorDash, dont plan on having your special instructions followed.If youre here in Hurst Texas, I would suggest brookside Cafe, as they can follow instructions, or IHOP. Brookside Cafe is a locally owned mom and pop restaurant, and I like to support the locals.I will probably try egg Haven Cafe in a few months, again, but generally when theres an issue its a management problem. So, maybe tomorrow, there will be a different manager. Until they have a manager that can act as a manager, I probably wont eat there again.Thanks for listening.
Tried to call in a togo order this morning and the lady who answered the phone didnt even know the menu. Was trying to get 2 breakfast sandwhiches one on an english muffin and one on toast and she couldnt comprehend that I wanted the sandwhich on that type of bread and kept saying shed put it on the side. Then said I havent ever seen a breakfast sandwhich on the menu let me get someone who knows the menu better and called over a lady named monica who still couldnt get it. Dont waste your time

Can always count on a 5 star breakfast when we eat here. There are so many good dishes you cant go wrong. Waffles, avocado toast, biscuits and gravy, and so much more. Service is quick and friendly.
The food was delicious and the entire staff was extremely friendly. They definitely made my family feel at home. Also, from the dining area to the restrooms, it was very clean. You cant ask for anything more during these covid times. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Food was decent but I ordered an Iced Tea on Ubereats for $3.50 and yall gave me a cup most resturaunts use for kids meals. $3.50 for a tea is already an outrageous price, and then you give a Dixie cup lol

Over all, it was just O.K. 2 eggs, 3 bacon and 2 pancakes for $9. They were not busy on a Monday morning and the service was quick even though the servers were dour. I did not try the coffee ($2.50). Did not care for using the servers tablet to pay for meal and tip. Will not be back.
Great location near our hotel (Hilton Convention Center in Hurst), really nice staff took the time to tell us a bit of history about the restaurant and owners. The breakfast was great with big portions... you wont leave there hungry!
First time here. A friend told us about this place. Very nice inside and our waitress was nice. Breakfast menu has a huge selection of items. I had an omelette with sausage, bacon & ham. We will return and try more items.
By far the best brunch around!! The eggs Benedict was the most amazing I have ever had!I have definitely found our favorite brunch spot! Cant wait to try their lunch menu!!
I had pancakes with strawberry and whip cream,eggs and bacon. Apple juice and water. Food was cooked just right. Service was good.
Do not order for delivery... I ordered from Uber eats clicked box need fork napkins. Did a side note for salt pepper. I am on a job post can’t leave and received food egg meat skillet with no fork napkins pepper or salt. I called the manger and she said it was the pandemic and that’s why no fork was put in with the food that a lot of people don’t want them. I call bs who wants to eat with there hands food you need a fork. I said I’d never order again too cheap to put fork napkins and salt pepper when I pay 20 bucks with tip for breakfast. I ate food with hand and it wasn’t that good anyway.
Underrated little place. Its not fancy, but food is good. Portions are generous. Chicken fried chicken 👍🏻 breakfast burrito 👍🏻 coffee 👍🏻
The food is very very good. But went 2 mornings in a row and the service was not so good we kept having to ask for coffee and they left out food both times. Please fix the issues or I want be back. Thanks
Simple, tasteful decor, seating was very comfortable, waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgable. Food was extremely fast and delicious. Slightly overpriced but beats iHop and Dennys hands down!
Food is okay, but the service is absolutely terrible and slow. Family visited twice, both times a manager had to come by to make sure we were being served. Second time server overcharged us on items that were suppose to be coming with the kids menu. Substitutions to be less carb is expensive.

It is brand new restaurant, and yesterday, I visited this restaurant. Inside of restaurant, super clean and neat. All servers were very nice and freindly. I was very happy with my meal. This place is awesome. The food was beyond great and the service was great too. (Donna made some good suggestions). My wife had the Tarrant county chicken salad and it looked good. I think I may have to give it a try next time. We will be back.

2022-02-21Quality of American style brunch. Rich taste and enough size for most of people. Professional servers gave me very good experience. All staffs were proactive. Modern style interiors. Fast order and preps. I will visit again with my neighbors next time. Just nice!

2022-05-15Met a friend for an early breakfast and Im glad we chose this place. Everything was perfect!!! I got the Cinnamon French Toast combo with eggs over medium. The toast was so good. The Cinnamon was subtle and the sweetness was not overwhelming. My over medium eggs were cooked exactly right. My friend got the meat lovers skillet with amazing biscuits. The were soft and not dried out and one side was perfectly toasted. Im super pleased with the experience.

2021-12-22Tried this place for breakfast to kill some time while waiting for wife having a procedure done at a nearby hospital. Sure wish I lived close enough to go every week for this absolutely excellent breakfast. Eggs ordered over medium were perfectly cooked. Generous size sausage patties that had been finished on the grill along with extra crispy hash browns that werent greasy or oily. Everything came out fresh and hot, even the toast. Friendly service, and very reasonably priced for a heavy, sit down and relaxed breakfast in a clean and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

2022-02-15It was nice breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant. When we went on a Saturday morning, we got seated right away. Menu had variety of options. We ordered Chicken Tinga Skillet and Breakfast wrap. Both were great and coffee was nice. Ample of parking around the restaurant. Cute decor inside. 2022-02-07Friendly and helpful staff. The place was clean as well. I had the Belgian waffle which was amazing and the breakfast burrito with their salsa. Next time Ill take the potatoes out of the burrito, thats all I tasted but other than that Id highly recommend this for breakfast or brunch.

2021-08-15This place is awesome! This review is after the second time I visited this place. The food taste fresh and the wait time was good. From what I saw, all the menu items are fresh and the price are reasonable. The decor of place is really lively and welcoming. I had a classic egg benedict and it was really good and I was full. The second time , I had the meat lover skillet plate and was surprised to know that it came with a side, given the amount of food on the plate. My wife and daughter had chicken and waffles, which the chicken was not dry and had really good flavor. The waffle was really thick and fluffy. I am really mad at myself for not finding it sooner. If you are wanting a great place to have good quality breakfast, this is the spot!

2022-04-16Server Michael was great, and so was the food. The English muffin was soft and fluffy, the eggs were poached perfectly, and they dont go stingy on the Hollandaise. I got the classic eggs Benedict and my sister got the country eggs Benedict. Both were great!

2022-05-30Huge black curly hair found in my omelette as I was cutting into it. Waitress never checked on us or refilled our drinks until we had to literally ask her to do it. Did not seem surprised about the nasty hair in food either .
