I been eating here since I was 6 years old never been disappointed it’s starting to not taste as good lately since Kim has retired but they definitely should remodel to give the dine-in a more welcoming vibe and the new staff should fix there customers service skills I’m a long time customer and I definitely noticed when things have changed 😑
The food was ok hot and a whole bunch. They forgot my order of orange chicken.I had to get up in ask after 45min.I was simply upset. Two people who came in after me with two orders had got their food and left. She keep saying it ready while they was just starting to cook it.Too much batter.
Great food! Love their Jumbo shrimp LoMein. the Orange Chicken (Spicy or No Spicy) is amazing, its so crispy when its just cooked. ENJOY it immediately when you get the orange chicken, dont keep it over 10 minutes drive since it might not be as crispy as it was just cooked and you will miss the best flavor and best time to taste Orange Chicken 😋
Great Food! Especially Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, it is so Yummy!!! Their service seems to be improved a lot under new management. It is now one of my favorite place for Lunch and Dinner. Also, they started to accept credit card for our convenience, everything looks better now~~
Fresh food ALWAYS make sure you are careful ordering we ordered for a group and ended up paying $86.00!!!! the food was ALOT and couldve DEFINITELY ordered less, in other words they give you alot of food and a couple of orders of diff. Options will be PLENTY AND THEN SOME!***UPDATE***they went UP in price which sucks i usually spend $60ish for a fam. Of 5 and paid nearly $70 for LESS than my usual, its a sad day in Gomezville; guess i gotta work a 2nd job cause the food is that good. . 🙄🙄😒😒
Now charging .2% for all orders just to use debit card.!!! No matter the amount. AND they charge for hot oil sauce now. People aren’t checking their receipts and just paying what they’re told. I understand wanting to recoup what the shut down took from you, but when you have a line of customers waiting in line for food while other restaurants closed down completely, and your charging these ridiculous fees, you’re just being greedy!
First time experience first time eating here. food looked really good! But manager did not let us eat here due to the fact that we ordered to go! we saw that it was actually pretty nice and decided to stay and eat in rather than what anyone would do and allow us to just eat since we purchased from the location. we were told we werent allowed to stay because we bought to go! The owner showed no disregard or concern when i approched her trying to ask why she just kept on the phone ignoring me while going about her business. Horrible
Service felt rushed. The cashier lady seemed bothered. Took a bit to get my order. But it was ok, it was fresh. What I did not like about the food was that the kids plate shrimp was more fried breaded than shrimp! As I pulled off the breaded part, the breaded part was 3 times bigger than the shrimp itself! The breaded part was so fried that it was so crunchy hard, it was not easy for my 2 year old toddler to eat. We had to pull off all the crunch for my 2 year old to enjoy it! And as receiving my order I noticed a cook was not wearing a mask but what others I saw were. That was bothersome. I should have known better to stop here with it looking so slow at lunch time.
The food is good but if you dine in they charge you a $1 service charge. I find that pretty bizarre because we always leave a tip when we dine in. Oh and the lady at the register, forget about her being customer friendly. If you ask for extra napkins or chili sauce, its like youre asking her to cut her arm off.
This is literally the only place my boyfriend enjoys Chinese take out. You get your container FILLED with food. We get the fried rice and lo mein. We got sooooo much food. We live by Addison and we will TRAVEL for this location because 1. As I said earlier they have amazing portions FOR AN AWESOME PRICE and not only that but my boyfriend HATES other Chinese places spicy because its never actually spicy. These guys spice it up! And when they give you that extra side of that oil chili sauce they arent stingy with giving you the seed/flakes. These people know what we want and they DELIVER. (Idk if they deliver. I meant the figure of speech)
I always been a fan of the sesame chicken and it is so good! The orange chicken is good too if you like spicy food. They only take cash but a stop to the bank is so worth the food experience. I have been coming to this place for over 10 years and no the customer service is not great and you rarely see them smile but today a smile was given to me and she made sure that i was satisfied with my food prior to me leaving.
Food was good but I did not get everything. I called and since I ordered from door dash they (eggroll inn) said contact door dash. So I did now I paid and did not get what I paid for. Thanks for nothing. And no you did not get to me I have the credit card statement to prove you got paid or door dash did.You did nothing to make it right. We had three things not delivered.Ill screen shot this so door dash knows.
We came to this spot for dinner. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff were extremely nice and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall absolutely come back again. Recommended.
The food is great!! I love the Hunan entrees and the sesame chicken. However, you must get past the dragon at the register! Trust me its not just you! She is consistently rude to everyone. Dont let her stop you though. Get your food and go!! She can never be rude enough to keep us from great food!
The general tso chicken was amazing! The sweet and spicy sauce was alil runny. But the chicken was crispy and crunchy despite my 20 min drive home. Would recommend this place. The people are dry but the location is in the hood so don’t expect 5 star customer service. The food makes up for the service anyway!!!
OK, this is is an old Dairy Queen building with washed out paint that has been converted. There is a collection of furniture that doesnt match, the plates are old and chipped and it is CASH ONLY. So the atmosphere is grungy. A person eating with us had a comical argument with the server, he hates vegetables, wanted his food without vegetables, She said she couldnt do that on the lunch special, period. It was funny and at the same time uncomfortable. She really wanted to give him vegetables, and she did, serving his meal with a pile of bell peppers. So, I played it safe and scored with the Orange Chicken special. It had the right amount of spice but best of all, it didnt have that soggy texture that is so common, the breading was light and crunchy with good pieces of chicken within and coated in a thick syrup of orange spicy sweet sauce. It was delicious. My other friend ordered Sesame Chicken and he loved it, it looked about the same. If you dont mind the atmosphere, the food is pretty good.
The food is great!! So much better than panda express. Appears to be hand made. My wife loves the sesame chicken. I love the sheschuan shrimp (probably not spelled correctly) the inside furniture is worn as it is family owned. Some staff is friendly, some not so much. But food is delicious. Would recomend.
All reviews about this place are true, some friends and I went here for lunch break super rude women. Greeting was You pay cash, right? Ok what you drink? The food was very delicious and more than enough food for the price. She reminded me of a episode of SeinfeldThe Soup Nazi.Know what you want to order and have cash.
Terrible customer service. Rude, rude, rude! We ordered to go and decided we wanted to eat in. They were rude as they told us we couldnt eat to go food in the restaurant and that it was double work for them. Then she told us we didnt have to take the food , she would give us our money back. In all my years living my entire life in the USA Ive never had any one in any restaurant behave or conduct business in that manner. We are not in Asia. I wont give not even 1 star. I had to give 1 star to post. Sad.
No where in site does it say NO CARDS. I wasnt even sure what I was gonna order I had my card in hand. Rudely the manger said we dont take cards) slammed the drive thru window. Yes her food is good but her attitude is out of line. I work too and not once do I conduct myself how she was. ITS NOT JUST ME SHES A VERY RUDE PERSON
Omggggggg, in an old Dairy Queen building, its the bomb! Unexpected cheap, authentic, made to order Asian meals. They dont have premade sweet tea, who cares? This place has take out, drive thru, dine in. Family run oriented business, Cash only, once again, who cares! I recommend the schezuan meals, or Hunan or General zsos chicken. Give it a try, youll be glad you did!
I love vegetables!!I also really love the guy in the picture, he owns the place and is so funny. He kept gliding over to my table and offering me different fortune cookies- talk about service with a smile! This guy was a bundle of electricity. Make sure when you visit The Eggroll Inn that you ask for Kevin. He will give you the BEST deals on food. The only thing i would change is for him to unbutton his top button on his shirt, it looks like it is struggling a little bit.
I always call ahead and order for pickup. I usually get a combo fried rice, but have tried many of the other items on the menu, and have yet to be disappointed. They use fresh vegetables, not frozen ones. The portions are good, especially for the price. Their main dishes come with fried rice and an egg roll. For takeout orders, you get some soy sauce, duck sauce, a fork, napkins, a fortune cookie, and hot sauce (on request). They only accept cash, no cards. For call-in orders, theyre usually ready by the time you arrive. For drive-thru orders, you will be asked to pull around and park. (If a car pulls up behind you.)The Kung Pao Shrimp/Chicken/Beef/Pork are very good. The Orange Chicken and Sesame Chicken are similar in appearance but have a distinctive final taste, both are delicious. The Lo Mein has nice crunchy vegetables. The egg rolls here are the best. I also enjoy the Crab Ragoon (Cheese Wontons), they taste very fresh. The drinks here are more expensive, and there are no free refills on anything other than tea.

2022-02-04Not a very inviting place to dine-in, but pretty decent and cheap for takeout food 🥡. The one annoying thing is that they charge you extra if you pay with a credit card 💳. Who still does that these days? This place!

2021-12-08Ordered a combination plate with Teriyaki chicken and hot and spicy chicken and I got this. I have no idea what this was but it was just a Bunch of Sauce and vegetables. I call them and took the order back and when I got there they looked everywhere for chicken after I told them I know what chicken looks like they continue to look for it lol just told them just give me my money back. They continue to say idk who took the chicken. I was excited to try this place but maybe I went the wrong day but won’t be going back. Got panda after that and was 100% better Which I’m Surprised.

Not that greasy but greasy. The customer service is okay...the main lady always has an attitude buts it’s been like that for years! Lol I get it girl.Overall the place needs a remodel but the food is absolutely good! And yes you’re hungry again in an hr.

2022-04-08My husband and I tried this place today. I ordered General Tso chicken and he ordered Orange Chicken. When we opened our plates we assumed they’d gotten the orders mixed up because our plates looked IDENTICAL. We took our order back and the guy told us our orders were correct. I’m not sure how my extra spicy General Tso chicken was correct when it looked like and tasted exactly like my husband’s sweet orange chicken. Whatever. We got the teriyaki chicken for our kids and the plate was ALL broccoli. There was maybe less than 10 tiny pieces of chicken sprinkled around the broccoli. Yeah, the food is cheap, but you honestly get what you pay for. This is the closest Chinese food place to my house, but I will not be back.

2020-01-31Delicious combos and great prices. They only accepted CASH. No credit cards accepted which is a Bummer. Staff has always been friendly to us. We have been eating at this place for over 15 years. The dinner plates are good size portions to share with someone else. If you don’t know what to order ask for the photo Album. It has the picture of every meal. Cool tool to use. Restrooms are always clean but need a facelift. Overall the place is not fancy, it’s clean but it needs a facelift. Overall, the food is good.

2022-06-10This place has OLD SCHOOL Americo-Chinese food. Thick sauces instead of that watery garbage so many places make. The crab rangoons are super filled and yummy. The noodles are DELICIOUS.Order this place if you miss 80s/90s style Chinese restaurant food.

2022-02-04Don’t ever order the sweet and sour shrimp! The shrimp was no where to be found in all that batter. HORRIBLE! So disappointed! When you drive by it’s always busy. Thought the food would be good. It was awful!
