The El Paso Municipal Rose Garden is such a beautiful place. Great location for portraits or just for nice morning walk. We enjoy seeing the brand new blossoms in the spring, and sitting near the water feature listening to it bubble along. A must visit spot for anyone with any kind of love for roses.
El Paso Mucipal Rose Garden has been my place of inspiration for photography. As well as time to meditate and relax from stress. The garden opens I believe in March when the roses are almost in their full flowering stage. The City Of El Paso has been trying very hard to make this place welcoming, enjoyable and family oriented.
Update: Stopped in to see the roses, yes at full bloom. What a beautiful and peaceful well kept area. You can tell El Pasoans cherish this place. I loved seeing people out taking pictures.Im giving this place 5 stars for the pure thought of it and layout. Im sure the Roses look beautiful when its not a billion degrees. I will check back in the spring.
Made this the outing for our family on the 19th of April. This year that was just about the perfect date (sorry Gracie)The weather cooperated nicely. Two things to be aware of.1 no public bathroom.2 parking is cramped right now due to construction fence for a municipal project at the baseball diamond just south. Just be careful, youll be fine.On to the good stuff.First the flowers were spectacular. Our group decided that seeing every variety would detract from the joy of finding what we could see in the time available.Displays included every rose color I am aware of.The pathways are reasonable inclines and I believe would be possible for someone with limited mobility.Final note: if you are fair skinned or are on meds that make you sensitive to sun exposure, protect yourself. A good hat and long sleeves should suffice for all but the most sensitive folks.Enjoy your visit.
Simply wonderful. very well-organized, whoever designed this really used the space to the best of its ability and thought about the future growth of some of these plants. A lot of the roses are labeled and its very fun to see all the names. romantic city views, natural blocking so if there is someone else in the park you cant see them.
Very pretty and smelled amazing. A good place for a quick date or family trip. If you want, pictures as well, but you will need a good photographer, as it is not as big as one would hope. It could use more grass to make it greener, and some more care of the roses as they easily burn in the sun. All in all, it was a lot of fun to go to either way, pleasant size to have enough privacy, and with a little creativity it is a great place for anything social media.
Wonderful garden in the heart of El Paso. Ive done several photo shoots and always come back with phenomenal shots. Cant wait to post them - and hope to see what others think. Dont miss this Jewel of El Paso.October is approaching, roses at the garden will soon be in full bloom. Usually April and October are the months roses are full bloom. Take some time and visit this beautiful garden.
This place use to be a Rose Garden that drew people to see different flowers and Roses and was used at times by a couple getting married that used the garden for just a ceremony and take photos for their wedding memories. But now its been a longtime since I have been in there. It doesnt mean anything to me anyway. Its just a matter what other people think of that place. The City Parks Administration dont care of making spectacular changes in their parks anymore and the mood of people has really changed alot.
I am collecting likes. Please like if you like.A beautiful well organized rose garden in the heart of El Paso. Landscaping is great. The Roses are trying their best to beat this Texas heat. I had a lot of fun reading all the creative hybrid rose names.Pathways are concrete, and if memory serves me correctly you could navigate the hole thing on wheels if you need to.Lots of parking.Go in the morning if you can because it gets h o t t !
OMG!!!!!! What a beautiful place. They have soooo many different types of roses and the fragrances some have.....WOW. They have benches, shady areas to sit and relax, even saw people go there to have their lunch. People with mobility devices can pretty much have access to all areas of this place. The only thing is I wish they couldve had the waterfall going.
Beautiful park with wonderful photo ops.I think this is one of El Pasos best kept secrets. I came by on a Sunday and saw a ton of photo shoots, from mother daughter to maternity to graduation pictures. Its a serene setting and the roses are amazingly maintained. There is no specific good time to come by. Youre going to love it here
Beautiful, relaxing rose garden. I visited the garden for the first time today November 6th, and I will definitely be back when the garden is in bloom because today a lot of the roses were already drying and dying out. But nonetheless I enjoyed my time in the garden very much.
Proposing isn’t easy. You have to choose a ring, find a location and pray, pray, pray! Since I was new to the city I needed help on finding the right location to pop the question. Thank God I met a lady who told me about the beautiful rose garden. I googled it an knew that it would be the perfect choice for my proposal. On the big day I got on one knee in the middle of the garden. I was so nervous but she said YES! I couldn’t be happier for such a beautiful moment in such a beautiful garden.
Roses are spectacular, from the outside of the fences. To spite the sign that says open DAILY, it was chained close!! Big crowds turned away. Lots of upset people. Not much to do in El Paso, guess the gate keeper went to see Garth Brooks!! Today was the peak day to see the roses at their best, and the gate keeper didnt show up for work...

2022-05-24A magnificent treasure nestled in a haven just off Copia Exit in El Paso, TX dedicated to the lovers of roses. Early spring you see and smell its beauty at its best. In the fall Aug/ Sept you will see the last flush to fill your senses.

2022-01-01So beautiful!! All of the flowers were beautiful, beautiful colors, the water fountain is also nice. It was hot outside but so worth it, and there is benches in the shade to take a seat and cool down on. The garden goes higher than I thought and you have a beautiful view of the city. I will definitely be going back often as possible when Im on town!

2022-04-01This garden is so beautiful! The paths are very well cared for and the plants as well! The plants have been groomed over the stair ways which was especially cool! I also really love the fountain/stream spot; there is a cute little gnome set there and it made me happy 😊🤗

2021-08-12While we enjoyed looking at the beautiful flowers in the garden, the weeds were a constant distraction since theyre fairly overgrown and are throughout the entirety of the garden
