Authentic, exceptional quality Mexican food. From the first sip of my Melon Agua Fresca to the last bite of the Bistec dinner I felt like I was back home in the Sonoran desert. Even the chips and salsa were made fresh on site.Just because they are off the beaten path don’t them by. You will regret it if you do.A definite must if you’re looking for a great dinner in the Kilgore vicinity.
Food was great, service was good, establishment could have been colder. I would go back again. Very authentic taste and the prices were ok.

Great food!!! A little difficult to find, but the food sure does make up for it. Small dining area with a 15 minute average wait time on food. Very low cost for great food. Also has a small area to buy authentic mexican snacks and souvenirs.
Just an old gas station you say, no wait, theres some really good Mexican food here. Very close to authentic. If your the soft pallette person order your drink before tasting the hot sauce. A worth it stop.
They got 5 out of six orders wrong. Food wasnt anything to brag about. They brought some street taco shells out to dip like chips, they were stale. Only ice box drinks. Took a long time for food and they were not busy. They somewhat social distanced.
I searched this place out based on someones referral after having shared my thoughts on watching an episode of The Taco Chronicles on Netflix. Dont let the unassuming simplicity of decor be a turnoff. I found the tacos al pastor as good as any classier restaurants in East Texas for half the price. I will make this place a regular go to hangout.
Family owned and operated by an incredibly sweet family! They made us feel at home and the food was fresh, straight outta mamas kitchen!! Delicious!
They make their own chips the hot sauce is fresh and authentic, no Other restaurant mirrors authenticates mexican food lime they do. I thought I was in Mexico again.

Just ate there and loved the food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is cheap, but its also very great. It takes awhile for the food to come out, but its well worth the wait.
Beware the salsa is extremely spicy! But amazingly delicious. THE BEST HOMEMADE TORTILLAS

I ordered an order of the enchiladas! They were really good! You can ask them for chicken or cheese, but Im sure they have other options to choose from. The beans and rice actually tasted amazing. Had good flavor. The avocado was fresh as well as the green salad. The potato’s on top of the enchiladas could of used some seasoning, but it was amazing overall.I ordered an order of enchiladas and they tasted delicious! You can order them with chicken or fresh cheese, but Im sure they have other options. The beans and rice were good too :) they tasted good. The green salad was fresh. The potatoes that they put on top of the enchiladas could have a little more flavor but everything was tasty !!

😍The food is very rich, only one detail whenever I order to take away I have to miss something or sometimes they get mistaken for a card 😐 and the sauces that they have given me to take away less than half are very little♨️😐

2022-02-20Absolutely the Best Mexican food I have ever eaten. My family of six came to eat. We were very pleased the food was amazing. The staff was so friendly and very inviting. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican food this is and will forever be you go to. Very pleased!!

2022-04-12If you want REAL Mexican food, this is the spot. The ladies that run the show here know how to cook. It tastes like youre eating at someones house. Everything is good here. They had THE BEST homemade flour tortillas Ive ever had in a restaurant. This food is to die for. Super authentic. I could eat here every day. Oh if only other Mexican restaurants cooked this good

2021-10-12Prices are really good here. My husband and I both got the street tacos. The presentation is awesome, and it looked amazing. The flavor was lacking on the barbacoa tacos, and the asada meat which was very dry, hard, and honestly pretty burnt. I appreciate how much cilantro, onion, and lime they give you, it was the perfect amount per taco. The green (verde) salsa has a nice kick to it, which I appreciated, and the flavor was good. The red (rojo) salsa was pretty bland though. I did appreciate the fact that the tortillas didn’t tear at all when trying to eat each taco.

2022-06-15After reading all the reviews, I went in with an open mind. I knew the salsa would be spicy and it was.... Holy cow it was hot. I couldnt eat it. I ordered the enchiladas. It was good. It came with carrots and potatoes on top and avocados. I liked that part. It was all kind of bland and had to add a lot of salt. The melon fresca wasnt bad. It has a lot of pulp in it so I was chewing my drink.No one came to check on me during my meal at all. Not once. They were cooking in the kitchen and had no wait staff.The last straw, the menu says the enchiladas dinner is $9.89. It rang up$12 on the register. I told her hold up thats not what the menu says. She didnt believe me. So she went and grabbed a menu and sho enough, it was $9.89. She then says, but its $12. I said no, its$9 and thats what Im paying. So thats what I paid but by then Im mad. So watch out for that.Im not going back. They werent that friendly.

2021-06-14First time here. We came here for dinner. The prices were fair and their portions filling. The food tasted delicious! We ordered platillo de flautas and gorditas with bistek and asada. We will definitely be back!

2019-09-15The food was as if your tia (aunt) from Mexico had invited you over to have dinner. Most of the menu items were on the spicy side, but delicious. I wasnt a fan of the chips and they only had a choice of two diet drinks, water or diet Coke. BTW, there are no free refills on any of the beverages.

2022-03-06Walked in to order a plate to go around 5pm .Young lady said we dont have plates to go .I asked her whats these foam plates for ,so she asked a older woman cooking and said it would be 8 minutes and I said okay ,called me to the register to pay and I asked could I have some chips and hotsauce . She said we dont have any . I just seen them and she did to .The woman told her to fix a plate and cup to go !I think the young lady just didnt want me there or never seen a white person come in to establishment ..Want to thank the woman cook for the good authentic Mexican food !!Four stars for the cook but I wont ever come back to this establishment !!
