Eloise in other cities:
I should call the mayor… they do witchcraft here! That impossible meat taste just like beef, again, witchcraft! And the staff is always so kind. James, that exceptional looking man, was the best and made amazing drinks. Honestly the best place for those looking for vegan options in EPTX!
Went there for lunch during the week. There was only one other party there. We were looked up and down and then the server looked away from us and said ,wherever you want no hello, no welcome. NothingThey claim all inclusive, but the menu is heavy on the vegan side. The food had no flavor at all. The bread was so hard I feel like I could have broken a tooth. Food is overpriced, the server was too busy doing nothing at the bar to acknowledge or check in on us.We left feeling unwelcomed, underwhelmed with the food, service and just the overall experience. Theres better options out there
We dont have mayonnaise he (they/them...maybe?) said to me as he scoffed at my barbaric request. I shouldve figured when the menu offered more substitute this and pseudo that options than real food. The meatless Monday bulletin board, written pretentiously on a chalkboard as if we were on the Italian Riviera, should have screamed out to me that this place was not going to be my cup of chai latte. Nevertheless, I ordered. I ordered a burger on the worlds hardest bun. A bun that the server could only defend as we bake them fresh daily, in-house. Sure you do, Trevor. Thats why it tastes like its been sitting collecting mold in the El Paso heat for the last 3 summers. If you appreciate taste ..ANY taste, save yourselves the money and aggravation.
Food tastes great, would recommend bomber burger and impossible burger. Stays open late, but kitchen closes around 10pm or 11pm. There is also a cute patio that is nice to eat at when its warm at night. My best friend showed me this place and we normally go at least once a month, its definitely a must try even if you arent vegan!
Im new to the area and thought I found a new vegan spot until on my third or fourth visit I witnessed the business allowing customers to bring non-service dogs into the dining area of the restaurant and even on the tables. I was astonished and disgusted. A restaurant is no place for animals especially with the restaurant not being aware of customers particular allergies. Needless to say, this was my last visit.
I visited El Paso for the time and Eloise was a miracle for me (Im vegan). They had the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner! All the days I was in town I had amazing service, great tasting food, the quality was top notch, and overall a wonderful experience. I have no complaints whatsoever and anyone visiting this place vegan or not, they must try it.
Had a friend going vegan and he insisted on trying this restaurant, Im so happy I listened to him. Liked the restaurant so much I had to go back more than once and tried their 2 most recommend sandwiches, the burger and bomber. Both were amazing! Their staff was friendly and very well informed regarding nutrition. Just a top notch gem, wished they had one of this back home.
Eloise is a cute local restaurant/bar where you can relax and enjoy life. We decided to try out their brunch Sunday morning. No surprise the food was good with great flavors, taste, and texture. I’m a little disappointed with the service and the time it took to bring our food. It’s worth teasing if you have the time. If you don’t like bad, slow service, then this isn’t the place for you.
This place is amazing. I ordered the vegan burger. Basically the menu had a beef burger option but I was able to substitute it for 2 bean veggie patties. The server said it was voted best vegan burger few years in a row. The burger did not dissapoint. It exceeded my expectations. I opted out of the vegan option and decided to have brie on my burger. It came with mushrooms and caramelized onions. Incredibly delicious. Itwas also huge. The vegetables on the side were so flavorful and delicious. My husband on the other hand ordered a Kim chi rice. It was not at all delicious. Rice doesnt pair well with Kim chi. They just dont go together. So he ended up adding soy sauce to his Kim chi to be able to eat it.In my opinion this is an item the restaurant should take off the menu.On a side note, their menu is very confusing. Its all over the place and on top of the one page menu they give you a separate menu with the specials.Their menu needs to be a bit more organized considering its one small/med page anyway.Other than that this place is awesome and I cant wait to go back to have the same burger again. The out door seating area is awesome with gorgeous mountain views.
A great atmosphere in there. Cozy and chill. Drinks and food is very good. Every food item allows a variety of proteins, including tofu and satin. Great place for anyone who is vegan or not. Service can be slow at times, but the large serving sizes makes it worth the wait.
Must stop in El Paso. The Buffalo Cauliflower sandwich is better than any any buffalo chicken or equivalent sandwich Ive ever had. The sauce is a sweet heat glaze and is just incredible. Also enjoyed the Impossible empanadas and the drinks are creative and delicious too. Wasnt a fan of the black bean torta but would definitely keep trying more things if we come back to El Paso. Oh and the soups were delicious too!
Stopped by briefly while my husband & I were in town. I do think its great that Eloise is vegan friendly & LGBTQ+ friendly, but beyond that it could use some improvement. Service was super slow & the bartenders just did not come off as friendly at all. Maybe it was just a bad night? Idk. We ordered two different drinks & they honestly tasted pretty bad. Then we waited at least 15 mins for the bartender to acknowledge that we were done & take our payment. Very weird.
Wonderful Vegan food, delicious drinks, and an enjoyable ambiance. I highly recommend Eloise! They have a nice outdoor patio, as well as an indoor sitting area. The patio is also pet friendly! The employees are polite and efficient. The pricing is fair for the portion size.
I used to love this place. I recently went with one of my friends and made sure I checked the hours. It said they closed at 11:00 pm. We got there at 9:00 pm just to have some drinks. The employees were extremely rude when we arrived. I asked again about the hours and he responded quickly saying that the kitchen was already closed and saying that they were about to close the bar too. I prefer not to be a bother for the employees and not go back. Ever.
This place had a very chill vibe, and the food was great. I ordered the alpine salad, which had the best slightly sweet, almost caramelized pecans, and the softest feta cheese Ive ever had in a salad. My husband ordered the impossible burger which had a smokey patty on a soft bun, complimented by a light coarse mustard. I would come here again with my parents/in-laws, or maybe just for an outing with friends.
I couldnt make this up if I wanted to. Manny helped us out at the bar. Made a great Sazerac for me and cocktail for my wife. The pub burger exceeded my El Paso bar expectations. Order the burger, order the cocktail; guaranteed you will leave unexpectedly satisfied! (Cleaned plate for reference)
The nachos have become so amazingly delicious since they began frying their own chips! I swear they were fried to order, omg I want them now... All the vegan dishes are delicious. The vegan cheese and toppings are out of this world as always. ( if u like beyond burgers you’d like it I guess, it tastes like a beyond burger )Service during quarantine has been awesome, the staff has always been kind. The location is nice, always clean & fresh inside & the patio is nice too.
The food is amazing. I loved the empanadas and the noodles. Soooooo good. Also the customer service is on point. All the staff are courteous and professional. One of the staff members even brought my phone out to me when I left it in the restaurant. It was much appreciated especially since I had just finished putting my kids in their carseats and it would have been a hassle to take them out and go back in. Thanks again. I will definitely be going back and I have already told my friends that they must go and check it out.
The food was good, the rice lacked flavor though. Great place for vegans and nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the cocktails. The only thing that was not up to par was the service. The place was nearly empty and the waitress only checked on us when the food was out. We wanted to order more cocktails but having to wait 15-20 minutes just to get her attention..we decided to just close out. Will give another try and hopefully the service will be better.
The menudo doesnt taste like mexican menudo, they need to change the Chile, idk if they are using way too much or if it is the right one.The nachos are really good but the tostada gets soggy right away maybe using a harder tostadas would work better, the hamburgers taste good, the classic is a little too greasy but the pub burger is amazing! The workers are very friendly and good service
Yesterday I bought 2 large vegan menudos I was really exited when I saw the size of the cups I was really satisfied but to my surprise when I got home the cups where filed half way I got really upset I felt robed, and the flavor wasnt so good they need to add more harmony and use the right menudo chile. Also I have been there for the hamburgers and they are a bit too greasy and they are stingy with the fries
Long drive looking for something healthy to eat. The food (lunch) was amazing in particular the Guacamole ♥️, the coffee hands down the best. We also had the Hash which was filling, seasoned well and light enough to keep driving. Service was quick, not overbearing and polite. We highly recommend this place. I we’re ever in town again we will most definitely come back.
Used to be good but ordered the Curry it was very watery , potato’s undercooked , rice looked weird and they don’t even try with the seasonings, no flavor at all. What green Chile flavor? Staff is nice , mask rules are out dated and dumb. Kinda felt like I wasted my money.
Very good place, good selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes (even desserts!) and great service. The place is super nice too and has a lot of character and plays great music. The prices are not great, and the food was very tasty, however, food and drinks seemed to be a bit too sour (weird, the cook must love lime juice, but it was way too much of it). Also we totally miscalculated the tip and gave the extremely nice waitress a tiny tip by accident :( Overall great experience but too pricey to visit more often than for special occasions.
Super chill ambiance! This place is one of those holes in the walls that beats your expectations. Their menu is great for anyone wanting to try delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes. And their desserts are superb. Not to mention their bar offers great local drafts that can be enjoyed out on their romantic patio.
Outstanding. This actually my first Vegan Restaurant experience. Hands down I loved it. I ordered the vegan nachos, they are to die for. I also order the Argentine Empanadas. They came out gorgeous! Crispy shell and flavor filled stuffing. Loved every bit and the portion sizes are perfect! Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone vegan or not. Something new and amazing!
I only give them 4 stars because of the fact that they say they are a vegan restaurant but serve meat. If you serve meat at all at a restaurant it shouldn’t be considered a vegan restaurant. They should say that they are a meat serving restaurant but vegan friendly. They did say that their cuisine was mainly vegan but it still didn’t make sense to claim their restaurant as a “vegan” one. Some vegan folks are extra picky. If you are vegan friendly but serve meat in the same place, you best be using different pots and pans to cook both vegan and non- vegan foods due to cross-contamination! But they seemed like a very professional bunch and I hopes that they took that part into consideration. I’m sure they did. If you’re reading this and you’re vegan, ask about it! I didn’t get a chance.Anyway besides that, the food was great! The wait staff very kind, very present and informative. The ambiance of the place was legit! Very unique. I love that they have a full bar and plenty of selections for beer and wine and cocktails. Would most certainly come back for more.
It could just be all the COVID talking but the place was not all that to say the most. The staff is nice and friendly for sureThe empanadas at first bite full of flavor then right away bland, salt, bland bland and dry. With a bitter homemade lemonade to wash it down, horrible choice so just call it lemon juice with a side of salt since thats all there was. In both these items. The bomb burger aside from the nice presentation and delicious fries. The burger was a waste of $$ & flavor since you can taste the cauliflower and buffalo separately but together not so much and its crazy cause the cauliflower was dipped, seasoned and breaded in the sauce 🤦🏽🤷🏽Now as far as the Nachos.... Best thing I tried, no doubt, aside from not having some avocados and maybe a bit more spice they were good. Id get them again for sure. You want vegan flavor then Queens Table I will continue to go
Food is great, I came here the first day I considered becoming a vegan & never turned back. Of course I’m in the transition phase, but ordering vegan food at a restaurant felt like it was going to be my biggest challenge to sticking to it & this place definitely changed that mindset for me. The food is freshly made & I love their vegan ranch.
PROS:The service was excellent. The waitress was very friendly, on top of things, refilled our drinks without asking and explained the menu. The decor was nice enough and the place was clean. The drinks were good.CONS:The menu was small and there was nothing appetizing there. My friend ordered avocado toast and not only did this piece of toast cost more than it should have (like $8), the avocado on their toast was really dark, like way overripe. All of the food was pricey and didnt seem that great for what you were getting. All in all, the drinks and service were good but dont bother for the food.

2022-06-20First time eating here and the food was good but I felt like I was being watched b/c I was black. There were customers in the establishment sitting at the bar when I arrived but once I came in and sat down they went out on the patio. Once I left out the restaurant those same customers went back in the establishment and sat at the bar. I felt like I was being watched while I ate my food. Mind you I did leave the waiter a good tip. Not once did he come back to ask me did I need anything else after I paid. I felt like he was only waiting on me b/c he had no other choice. The other girl or waitress didn’t even look my way. If you are black I don’t recommend eating here, I felt very uncomfortable. Will not be returning! They didn’t even say goodbye! Discrimination is what I felt. Also I’m sitting in there parking lot as I leave this review . Oh yea asked for a bag for my left overs and he brought me an Albertsons plastic bag.

2022-03-04It was an amazing experience. We went during happy hour and their drinks were perfect. Ive traveled and have visited vegan and vegetarian restaurants everywhere Ive gone and this is on one of my top choices. The food was great. They understand flavor which is sometimes lacking in vegan restaurants. I tried the vegan nachos, classic burger, Buffalo bomber and I would highly recommend. They are also very inclusive and create a safe space. Love it!

2022-06-21Great spot for a date! Various seating options outside with a bit of privacy, nice environment inside as well (bit more open). The waiter was great and very attentive - I dont think I ever got down to half a glass of water.I had my first London Fog here - sweet but good. Pretzel bites also good. Would get both again.

2022-05-29I took my wife out on a date and I was looking for a restaurant that has a vegan selection. I kept finding so many restaurants that claims to have great vegan choices but they all really have 2 or 3 choices. I came across Eloise and really liked what I saw on the menu. Almost every dish on the menu was vegan or could be made vegan. The service was fantastic and food and drink absolutely divine.I have to say both my lovely wife and I were blown away when we came in. Possibly our new favorite restaurant

2022-04-08I absolutely loved this place and will be returning often tbh 🥲 the food was so flavorful and delicious. I’ve been looking around town for some vegan food since I’m newly vegan and I was so impressed with our city. This place is definitely a gem, the portions were huge I was shocked. Even if you aren’t vegan you’ll be impressed, I got the classic burger and it was just extraordinarily flavorful. I loved it.

2022-03-19Heavy on oil, light on taste, or any real seasoning at all. I cant remember ever eating more bland food, I couldnt finish. My wifes fries were oil soaked and not cooked completely, just warm and soggy with oil. My torta had zero flavor, the black bean mush tasted like the bread, which tasted like the red sauce on top, which tasted like water; zero detectable seasoning. I would not recommend this restaurant for vegans, maybe their other dishes are stellar, however, for vegans/vegetarians you get a better meal eating weeds in a field.

2022-04-25The Shishito pepper appetizer was awesome. I also had the Impossible Picadillo empanadas and was pleasantly surprised. Overall a very good experience at this place
