I rented a 2020 Kia Soul from your Granbury, Texas location. Within 20 miles I had a flat tire. I called the number on our contract and was told I would have a replacement car in 40 minutes. After waiting for more than an hour I called back and was told the person picking up our replacement car was 15 minutes away from replacement car. I waited for more than an hour again and called back and the woman I talked to said we wouldnt be getting a replacement car that evening and to call back in the morning. About 20 minutes later the tow truck operator called and said he was on his way to get us and take us to another town to get the tire fixed. This is unacceptable to me as it has now been 3 hours since first phone call. I told the driver we would leave the key in the car and lock it. We got a ride to a relatives. 3 hours later the tow truck finally shows up to the car and I was notified about it. The next morning I called the Granbury location and was given another car and he apologized for the trouble from the day before and also gave a discount. He was very nice and apologetic. If I would have known we would be treated this way I would have changed the tire myself except there was no spare in the car. The stress this caused me of waiting 6 hours for any kind of service was ridiculous. If you arent going to put spare tires in your cars you should at least have a better policy of getting help to people that rent from you. We have always hes good luck renting cars in the past.
They got me out of a pinch during a time when rental car availability was zero in the Metroplex and surrounding areas. The service was professional, courteous and they got me on the road ahead of schedule. Many thanks to Enterprise in Grandbury TX, you really bailed me out. THX!!
Usual prompt courteous service experiencedreview for Oct 19 - 21 rentalemail link took me back to an earlier review, so, this is being editedagain prompt and courteous service on pickup and drop off.Problem I had was being unable to return the car on Saturday afternoon and, being charged 2 extra days for this since i could only return it Monday morning. I usually finish my work in Houston Friday afternoon but, needed to work Saturday morning this time. i would prefer to drop the keys off when i arrive and not be charged for a car of no use to me or Enterprise. I have two more trips this year and, unless this can be resolved, will be forced to use Avis in Fort Worth which has longer hours and is open on Sunday.
Best place to rent a vehicle. Great service. Especially from Alyssa. I always feel like a priority when I come to this office. I have been in the office when they have been super busy. Even when there is an impatient or rude customer, Josh and Alyssa always maintain a professional bearing. Very impressed with the service here. I have been renting from Enterprise across the country for many years.
The employees here dont listen, and the guy that was there at 1730 on Monday August 10th needs educated in customer service. My insurance company called in a reservation on Friday and they are closed all weekend and I couldnt get there until late Monday. I had to wait for a ride. I called them at 10 am to make sure they had a vehicle for me explained to them my medical needs. I cannot have any air fresheners or stong smells. Well I couldnt even get close to the opened vehicle door due to the smell... The guy said it was the cleaning solution. So there was a car that just got done getting cleaned and I went over there and climbed in. Went back to the guy, and said its not the cleaning stuff. That car is fine and it just got cleaned. Its air freshener or something in this one, he said they use different stuff to clean with for different vehicles.......really? I believe that is not true. Then I asked for a receipt that they gave me back my $50 deposit and they said they didnt have one. Oh but we gave it back....really? I am suppose to believe you. You already lied to me about the sanitizer /cleaning stuff..... also I needed a vehicle with a hatchback that wasnt real tall. They had an Equinox for me. Its hugh.
I like my local Enterprise office/staff very much, but corporately - I was as disappointed.•why send me upgrade offers I didn’t qualify for?•why further limit included alt drivers from immed. Fam, to spouse only?•why is the website so awkward for making changes?•why do trusted, long-standing responsible customers have to appear in person w/their alt drivers? (work conflict and distance making that very, very inconvenient)
Bailey and John and the others at Enterprise stepped to the plate. My car broke down and I was working on a tow truck and rental. My reservations were easy and they sent someone to my home to pick me up. Easy paperwork and I was on my way! I got a call the next morning asking if everything worked out and I was happy with my vehicle and customer service! a GREAT bunch of people! I will call them again.
I have rented from Enterprise on a few occasions. In Oakland, CA. it was the best car rental experience I have ever enjoyed. Price was good which is why I chose them in the first place. I was treated like royalty by extremely nice & courteous people. In Granbury, TX I rented more because they were the only rental company available. Price was good though and the staff there was pleasant and efficient. It was very easy and fast service.
I have been using this Enterprise location for many years now and have been served by several different employees but everyone of them has been kind, helpful and considerate. They always greet me with a smile and treat me with respect. I have never had problems with having to wait for very long because they are diligently doing their jobs.I cant remember everyones name that has attended to my rental needs over the years but currently Heather and Travis are there and they are Super! I am very fortunate to live so close to an agency who cares so much about their customers, And I dont want to forget to give Jack a big Thank You for always making sure I have everything I need.Kudos to the whole team at Enterprise of Granbury!!!!
Helpful staff and great car rental. They asked if we minded a Hybrid that it would get 40+ miles to a gallon. I was skeptical but we took the Ford Fuson. We drove to and around Colorado. Our trip was 2038 miles and averaged 42.9 miles per gallon. Gas was less than 100 bucks. Cant beat that !!.
Picking up the rental was a bit of a hassle. My mom was paying for my rental, had called previously to make sure the costs were all in line and I went up to the location personally to make sure everything was set. I do not have credit cards, and they knew this and the cost included a deposit because of it, and we thought we had this worked out too.It turned out they had the costs worked out wrong and the amount was a considerable amount more than was expected. This was ridiculous considering both me and my mom had spoken to them about it and told them all that was going on. Since I dont have a credit card, I had my debit card with the money my mom put on it, it wasnt nearly enough to cover the hold they wanted plus all of the added costs. The person I was dealing with while picking up the car made me feel like I was stupid the entire time.I called my mom and there was a big run around because she didnt have access to a computer. Finally we got it worked out.The interior of the car was very dirty. It looks like they haphazardly wiped it every single time it had been rented. Its not a big deal to me, but I really expected it to be a lot cleaner. There were crumbs and a film on a lot of the surfaces.Returning the car was a breeze.Overall I do not know that I will be renting a car from Enterprise again, at least from this location. Im disappointed by this because I was planning on renting from them because I was planning on several trips this upcoming year. I would think after talking to this location two times to make sure the cost and deposit was correct and everything was set would be enough. I think the fact I was made to feel like the stupid one and I felt like me being there was such and inconvenience to them was the worst part.
The experience that caused me to give a low rating was this: as I was sitting in the car ready to leave he had me sign papers that I normally sign at the counter. I can understand signing the paper for the walk around (while in the car) to make sure there arent any dents or scratches. But then he started rattling off some things (he sounded like the disclaimer at the end of a pharmaceutical commercial) that I had to stop him and have him repeat what he was trying to tell me. He was talking very quickly about a $16.00 a day charge for insurance and when I informed him I have insurance he acted like that wasnt good enough. I have rented cars for 30 years and have NEVER purchased the rental car insurance and have always signed the decline AT THE COUNTER. So BE CAREFUL!!! They are trying to sneak in the insurance as you are ready to drive off and he had the audacity to say to me well if you have a wreck and they dont have insurance, hope you have uninsured. BAD customer service. Guess since they are the only ones in town they think they can intimidate and be rude to people. They need some competition!
Twice in the last six months Ive needed a rental car due to my truck needing repairs beyond my expertise. Twice Enterprise has been there to provide me timely pick-up and drop-off of a much needed 2nd car! The second time required a drop-off at a different location and it was a very minimal charge. At both locations (Granbury and Corsicana TX), they were both prompt and helpful. I cant say enough great things about the personalized service a very reasonable price!!
After having reserved a vehicle in advance at the Stephenville location in order to make an important out of town appointment, I received a call only 18 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the car saying they had no cars to give me.After a brief moment of anger at the almost complete lack of notice, I called the Granbury location. The staff there was EXTREMELY courteous and sympathetic, but they didnt have anything right then either. The HUGE difference was that the guy in Granbury said he would find me a car and call it in from another location if necessary.Nothing like that was forthcoming from the Stephenville location. Granbury was on the way to where I was going so I caught a ride over there to get the car. The employee was as good as his word. He had something waiting and even though it was a more expensive rental, he upgraded me at no extra charge.Even if Id driven out of there in something smaller at the same price I originally agreed to, the customer service wouldve made it acceptable. The willingness to at least TRY made the experience with this location worth the extra trouble I had to go to.Id give the Granbury location 6 stars if I could. I recommend them without any reservations whatsoever.
Good guys! I used to rent from Stephenville Enterprise for company rentals but they never had good selections to choose from. These guys are better in my opinion, they prepared my vehicle selection a day before my arrival, fully clean, provided company discount without me mentioning it and the transation was smooth.
My daughter wrote a negative review for Granbury Enterprise and its apparently been removed. It was the one where she was told the engine light stayed on but to not worry. We were taking the vehicle from Granbury to Galveston...and to not worry about it is ridiculous. She was told we would have a Nissan Rogue and they offered a horrible Jeep. There should be more negative reviews than what is here. Needless to say we drove the Jeep about 2 miles, took it back and drove our own vehicle. Shame, shame Enterprise.
I was headed to DFW IAP to catch a flight to San Diego for an important business meeting when my car broke down. I called the Enterprise office in Granbury, Texas, and despite being swamped, the manager personally picked me up at my home and took me to the office to rent a vehicle for two weeks. Bottom line: Because of the managers proactive response, I made the meeting in California. Enterprise is a class operation and remains my first choice, every time.Donald Chew
Even though the people are nice dont let them fool you check the cars very very very closely I rented a car there the one in Granbury Texas and I checked the car over didnt notice anything wrong when I returned it they were inspecting it and he the guy that was first inspecting it was watching the other employee but once he walked past the front bumper he turned around and looked real quick at the bumper and you had to know it was there to even be able to notice it they said that they believe that I didnt do it but I still had to pay $500 and and now Im getting messages saying that they never received their payment as $500 so be very cool cautious when you rent a car from here
Enterprise is going downhill. None of the branches are keeping any inventory. Granbury is no exception. This branch would not help me find a branch with inventory so I can get my wrecked truck fixed. When I told the rep that I would have to go elsewhere, he said have fun! and hung up.

2022-07-06First, I want to say that I have rented from this location for about 3 years. This year I have already rented 5 times since March of 2022. So take it from me; I know their level of professionalism and efficiency at this location. They have a great selection of well cared for fleet to satisfy any occasion and always get me in and out very quickly (and sometimes stylishly, when Jeeps are available :).Jason manages this location well and his crew is the best! I am a very happy client and you will be too!

2022-05-25My vehicle had an empty windshield washer reservoir when I drove off the lot. No big deal, Ill just get some when I get fuel. I had no idea that a truck driver would dump out a sweet drink while driving down the highway at dusk. I had to pull over and hand wash the windshield with my bottled water.Other aspects of the rental process were easy and as expected.*edit*Excellent customer service response to my complaint. With my other excellent service at the counter, I think I may have been overly harsh with 3☆. Ive more accurately rated the overall experience at 4☆.

2018-04-08I have rented here twice now and have not had any issues. The staff is polite and courteous. They get me in and out quickly so we can start our family vacation. The pricing is a little high for the bigger vehicles but I can’t complain with the peace of mind they bring us. The store is very busy most of the time, so do your reservations online instead.

2020-11-11Enterprise never disappoints They are always nice and helpful. When they promise to have a car ready, Im always impressed that they always have it on time and ready to go. I live in a small town and they are here so its like dealing with family. They make the process smooth and easy and seem to be glad to see you. i cant say that about the other rental places who could care less if they rented a vehicle to you or not. These folks have by business whenever i want to rent a vehicle.

2021-08-09UPDATE: Enterprise corporate responded to my review below and acted like they were going to do something about my experience. I sent them the required information and they promised someone would get back to me. NO ONE called or emailed or attempted to contact. I hate to press this matter but I don’t them pretending to address my experience….ORIGINAL POST: .I had a really disappointing experience with the Granbury Enterprise location. I was running late for my appointment and called the 800 number and they said that it was no problem and the location would hold my reservation for 12 hours. I ended up being 5-6 hours late and when I arrived they had given away my rental car. The attendant proceded to lie about their policy and told me there was not a single car on the lot when there were at least 6 with enterprise tags in the window. My original rental was a full size and my company would have paid for an upgrade but they would not give me a car after canceling the reservation. They finally got me a beat up mini cooper which was not large enough for my guests but was my only option. The attend did remind me that the mini cooper was indeed a free upgrade and I should be glad that I was getting something. I regularly rent from this location but will do all I can do to avoid using them in the future.

2020-07-24We were pleased at how quickly our car was delivered and the courtesy if Enterprises employees. Im rating 4 rather than 5 stars because the cars exterior and the inside of the windshield were filthy. I washed the windshields outside and wiped inside the drivers side with a cloth before leaving to run an errand. The sun was low as I headed westward to home. Had I not cleaned at least that much, I would not have been able to see out the windshield at all. When I returned home I cleaned the full interior windshield with glass cleaner before I would drive it again.

2021-06-03Everything was okay except the interior could have been cleaned better.The radio and the Ubs ports did not work. The van drove great until we came upon steeper hills and fog, than it did not go faster than 40 mph an the whole interior forged up. We rented the van in Granbury Tx. For 2 weeks to return in Macomb Mi. We arrived home sooner than expected we called to see if we could return early, we were told sure and an adjustment would be made, well all for returning 3 days early no adjustment and van was timed stamped the original date of return. Talk with them they said they would take care of it ??? Still waiting. Nancy

2021-02-18I’ve rented from Enterprise many times, but this was by far the worst experience!! This was the SECOND time I received a rental with an empty gas tank! This particular car smelled HORRIBLE!! Obviously someone had smoked HEAVILY in it, the ‘cleaner’ or antibacterial spray that was sprayed inside only added to the horrendous cigarette smell! The low tire warning light was on & stayed on for the duration even after I stopped to put air in ALL of the tires! I literally had to stop to get glass cleaner & paper towels to clean the windows BEFORE I left on my trip! This was not only disappointing, but time consuming & aggravating!!
