This place should be SHUT DOWN. Waited 2 hours and was not checked in. According to an employee, they had a chest pain emergency and therefore other emergencies were unimportant. You cannot operate ER in this manner. No one should have to wait for 2 hours at any community ER without their vitals taken. This place will contribute to death if they stay open.I left and went to STHER off McColl and was seen immediately, discharged within 2 hoursPlease STAY AWAY from this place if you want to live.
I called to ask if they had the tests the pediatrics Dr. Has andid I should take my infant there because shes had fever all night and hes drs closed in Sunday. The lady who answered just now was super rude! She was look this is an emergency room so if you think you are having an emergency then come if not then dont...wow bad vibes.
WOST HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE EVER, whatever you do AVOID THIS PLACE. The staff was extremely rude and condescending, and didnt take me seriously. The doctor had no patience at all, and talked to me in an annoyance in their voice. They didnt even help me fix my problem, they just wanted to get me out of there as soon as possible. Luckily my injuries were minor, but if it had been anything major i truly belive these people would have left me there to die.
I called in because after the kiosk I didn’t know what to do and no one was in the front. And the lady who answered was like we will get to you when we can but in an attitude. Then we went to the back and Fatima made me cry and from there she gave me a hard time. I was so over this hospital. Just think twice before going.
Dr. Ghobadi has to be the rudest “Dr” I have ever came across. I went in for swollen lymph nodes and I asked her what’s the reason and she said “How do you now know? It’s general knowledge?” 🤦🏻♀️ I asked her to check my blood to see if I have an infection and she said “No need”.Never had a problem here before until HER. The worst
My husband was seen here two nights ago for what we thought were allergies cause he was coughing to much and already felt chest pain. They did an X-ray of his chest and said he had shown COVID and that we were to go to CareNow Urgent Care Center on Trenton Rd for the COVID test at 8:am so we did. The PA that saw him and then me also tested both of us and were Negative. She was puzzled as to why they had diagnosed Covid without actually testing him for it. WE were right, both of us were suffering of bad allergies, NO COVID. WE WILL NEVER BE GOING THERE AGAIN.
I went there with a huge chest pain and just wanted my blood pressure taken. I did NOT want any other treatments. The nurse who took my vitals was super rude and told me I was fine, but needed to be seen by a doctor. Needed? Okay.Being in so much pain, I went anyway. The doctor, John Watring, DO, whom treated me was the rudest man I ever met in my life and felt that because of his position, he had privilege. After giving me x rays I did not want in the first place, but was scared so did it anyway, and given medicine I did not know what was, but I listened to the doctor that it would help, because I’m young and was scared. I was diagnosed with “Chostochindritis,” which is just chest pain in Layman’s terms.I then asked if that was it and I could go home because I was still in so much pain. He got angry, and slammed the door, and then said out loud because he thought I could not hear him, “Can someone get this patient a EKG because apparently she doesn’t believe my diagnosis.” I never said I didn’t believe him or his diagnosis, I asked if I was done. Being so angry, I couldn’t help but cry.The nurse then came in, looked at my charts, which he had no right to do, and put his two cents in that I probably had “an anxiety attack given my medications.” All he needed to do was take my vitals and then discharge me, not look at my medical history or the medications I took. He had no right and that is basically a violation of HIPAA.The next morning I was in more pain than the night before so decided to go to an actual hospital. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and my lungs had so much fluid in them, I needed a nebulizer. This place is the worst place to go to and I will never go there again, and do not recommend it to anybody I know or anyone reading this. I truly wish it could be given 0 stars.
From the moment we walked into the Er we were greeted with exceptional courtesy by the nurse screening patients/family at the entrance. To the nurses and registration personnel. We checked in quickly on a screen and were placed in a room within 15 mins which I appreciate because this is the last place we wanted to be with the virus scare circulating. My son had lacerated his finger. Stuff happens. I could see groups of people walking in for fevers but the staff seemed calm and collect and kind. Dr. Diaz was efficient receptive and had great bedside manner. He did a wonderful job suturing my sons finger. Thanks for what you all do and for being available to help us in this time. 3/14/2020
I don’t know what’s up with all the low ratings ??? Yesterday I went in rushing in with my nephew who fractured his arm in the monkey bars and the moment I walked in they opened the back door asking what happened and immediately brought us in. Explained everything to us in detail and ask for our consent various times to continue the procedure. Offered my nephew juice to wash down the medication and attempted to distract him when given shots. Because of their efforts and aligning fractured muscle he probably won’t need surgery which is what I was hoping to avoid! Wonderful nurses and doctors who attended us quickly !
I don’t know why this place has such low reviews. I had an amazing experience. I’m 21 years old, male, Went in with heart issues. It turns out I probably don’t have anything but either way the staff was amazing. The doctor behaved well with me and even the nurse helped and talked me through what I was experiencing and even shared personal stories with me to try and help me calm down. Words can’t describe how amazing this ER was and neither can they describe how thankful I am to them. God bless these people.
I came in in a total panic. No one was in the front reception area but I was able to flag someone down pretty quick. They got me in a room, checked out and a doctor examining me within minutes. The receptionist came and got my information while I waited for blood tests results. In the end, I spoke with the doctor, got diagnostics and a print out of all my labs plus a list of doctors to follow up with I think all in less than an hour. Staff was professional and courteous.
Dr. Victoria Fernando was amazing with my son the staff there was so sweet and caring. Theyre main concern was get his fever down down ASAP and giving me the knowledge I needed for when I took him home. Thank you all for caring about my son how I would 5 stars all around.
This was the worst medical experience I have ever had. I went in on a Friday night, so this was not my first choice for healthcare. First, I was blamed for my health problem. Then, when the doctor was getting ready to do a procedure two nurses exclaimed about how cool it was. Cool? I have been in pain on and off because of my chronic illness for five years. When the doctor did the procedure on me, I felt everything. I was in incredible pain and wanted to die. He did not help me. If anything, he made it worse and I was bed ridden in pain for three days popping painkillers every six hours until the problem resolved itself on its own. Until I was able to see my regular doctor on Monday morning was I finally free from most of my pain.Do not go here. The doctor seems miserable. The nurses lack empathy. If everyone hates it so much here, they should find other employment. Their misery is not fair to patients who are in pain and seek a caring, patient, and kind environment.
I went there in March after I got out of work around midnight. I got my blood pressure taken, and then led to a room where I waited for quite some time. Upon asking if there would be a female doctor available, I was told no. At that point I felt uncomfortable, so I let them know I would be leaving. I was followed by a doctor who kept harassing me into staying. He kept saying, I was just about to go into your room to check you. I politely said I understood that, but that I didnt feel comfortable with a male so I had made a choice to leave. He continued being condescending saying Id still be charged, even though I was never treated, because he had already clicked a button on the computer. This is ridiculous! Doctors should never treat potential patients in this manner. Whats worst? Ive been trying to make a formal complaint for months, but every time I call I get the run around. Now they are charging me, and for what?! Ive been calling them for over a month to check on a written appeal that I submitted in regards to this, but just today I called a total of 5 times in the span of 10 min because they kept hanging up on me. Im writing this review because I dont know what else to do in order to let my voice be heard. If youre ever sick, this is your warning, do NOT go here!! They will charge you an arm and a leg for doing absolutely nothing!
Im sad to see a lot of reviews with negative experiences. However mine was the complete opposite. I went in because I had severe throat pain and Dr.Pesch aka flat tire (inside joke)😂 from the start was phenomenal. He made my mom and I feel welcomed and the nurses throughout the process were great as well. Upon leaving Dr. Pesch came and explained my diagnoses, he cracked a few jokes and within the hour with meds he gave me I was able to talk and breathe again. It turns out he had helped my daughters ages two and four when my mom took them in for flu like symptoms. My daughter came home talking about him and how he was a fun doctor and she really liked him. Most doctors Ive encountered are serious and I understand that they have a lot to do and patients to treat but Dr. Pesch took a little time out of his busy night to talk with us and get to know us a little better and that is something I admired about him. He explained my diagnosis thoroughly as well. I love to take my family here when necessary and Ive always had such a great experience. They are very fast as well because as we all know, no one likes to be in a ER for a long time.
I will keep it short, although I could write a book. Dr. Oscar Cortes is HORRIBLE!!!!!! I passed a kidney stone during Easter 2019 (In a prior CT scan, I knew I had the stone. It was just a matter of time before passing it according my urologist). Dr. Cortes that day told me that I had Stage 3 kidney failure. I told him, how is that? I go to the doctor all the time and no one has ever said anything like that (not my primary doctor nor my urologist). He says, Well I am not lying, I will give you a copy of your lab results. After a nervous breakdown there in the ER (crying and crying), I was released with pain meds. I saw my urologist soon thereafter and did blood work and a sonogram to my kidneys. Turns out, I DO NOT HAVE STAGE 3 kidney failure. My kidney function during Easter was super low, because I was passing a stone. He is a doctor, he should know that kidney function is not up to par when passing a stone. Especially when I told him, I go to the doctor often and no one ever mentioned it. Dr. Cortes is insensitive, ruthless and incompetent. He caused me so much worrying. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE .
Only the ultrasound girl was nice. I had to request the ultrasound. They took urine and blood not needed and put in an unused IV. Gave a shot that was pointless. The doctor claims he had to send those unnecessary tests out to another doctor to read. All for a stomach ulcer! 10k $ later. Thieves. Pepto could have solved the problem. Doctors and staff dont strategically plan your care. If a doctor cant read his own requested blood test, why does he have a job? I expect that from a medical assistant. Im appealing all charges. So should the rest of you.Note, bill was severely reduced after complaints. Still avoid this place! American tragedy that healthcare is.
Great experience with this Emergency Room! I had been experiencing fever, cough, sore throat and difficulty swallowing going on 3 days inspite of all my efforts in relieving the symptoms. Unfortunately my primary doctor was closed on Sunday so I had no recourse but to visit this Emergency Room.I was examined by Dr Cortez and he knew right away what was wrong with me after initial test results came back. Staff was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional in every way possible.Waiting time was long but that’s expected from any Emergency Room during busy times but the wait was well worth it. I felt better the next day and was fully recovered the following day after taking all the medications that were prescribed to me. I continued to take my meds as ordered even though I already felt great with no recurring fevers.Kudos to the staff!
If I can give it ZERO stars I would!Everyone complains of the rude staff and they arent joking! Ive gone here two times and REGRET it every time. Nurses lack empathy and want you out ASAP even though I was the only one being seen at the time. (Ive gotten the same rude white chubby nurse both times. She just stares into the abyss of nothingness and always looks dumbfounded. Pray she doesnt hurt herself to lift a finger or crack a smile). They never do a thing and the registrar named Sonia is the most ghetto person ever. She was actually taking a personal UNPROFESSIONAL call (talking about her night plans) on the clock.... as I was impatiently waiting for her to finish giggling and laughing. From the beginning she was unfriendly and questioning my daughters medical insurance, which is Tricare (YES SHES A MILITARY DEPENDENT). Ive had Tricare since her birth and I have never received an insurance card. Tricare doesnt require an actual medical card (although I do have her military dep ID). Well of course Sonia was being sarcastic and told me, hmmm thats weird youre the only one Ive known that has never had the insurance card, they all have one (WHICH IS A COMPLETE LIE BECAUSE I HAVE OTHER FRIENDS ON TRICARE). She was OVER the top sarcastic as my child was crying and I just wanted her to be seen. NEVER been harassed and questioned about her insurance at ANY doctor/hospital. She even asked me what BRANCH hes in and how many yrs (thats NOT even a question to ask for Tricare, maybe HIPPA law needs to be reviewed here?). Obviously this joke of an ER has too much time to harass clients because NO ONE goes here! Its always empty!!!!Ok the nurses are also a complete JOKE and WORTHLESS. I needed for my daughter to take a strep test and she has previous trauma and I informed the nurses it would be hard but I can help hold her down. The nurses (same white chubby female nurse) just stood there dumbfounded as my daughter just resisted a bit. They said she is unable to get her test and basically told me to go. They didnt even make an EFFORT! I had to go to a real ER later (Doctors Hospital Renaissance) down the road which is MUCH BETTER) and they made every effort to get her test which she was POSITIVE for strep! They didnt interrogate my daughters Tricare insurance one bit....and *shock* didnt ask for her imaginary Tricare card. P.s. I have video recordings of what she was saying to complain to Tricare about them.Complete worthless nurses at Rio Grande ER.....please please dont take your children here.Afterwards Sonia the registrar actually tried to fight me (verbally) about how she was right and there are many Tricare clinics in the valley (TRUST ME THERE ARE NONE). But she wasnt having it, she was right :/ I was shocked and asked her for corporate number to complain and she laughed and said my name is SONIA, GO AHEAD AND WRITE it down as she sarcastically walked up to me with her name badge even though I kept telling her ok got it. She walked up to me very close and confrontational to sarcastically hold up her badge to my face. She laughed and mocked me like she wasnt going to get in trouble anyways. Ive NEVER been treated like this. People STAY AWAY from this place and do yourselves a favor and go up the road to Edinburg Renaissance. They are caring and actually do their job! Im going to have to go back to another hospital. P.s. I also filed a complaint and Im pretty sure nothing will happen since the lady I spoke to seemed like she didnt care and just seemed bothered. I really hope they shut down this joke of a hospital before a malpractice suit shuts it down. They need to hire BETTER and EDUCATED (*cough cough* Sonia) STAFF!!!AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT STAFF TO FIGHT WITH YOU AND WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!!***UPDATE***Went to Doctors Hospital Renaissance down the road on McColl and they actually HELPED ME!!! TRUST ME, just drive a tiny bit further down McColl if you want help!!!
I went in with a broken nose after falling face first on the driveway. I drove myself the few blocks from my home, because my nose was bleeding and swollen. After talking to a receptionist I was told that there were 11 patients ahead. Left and came back a couple of hours later. I could not drive any further, both my eyes were already purple and my nose had not stop bleeding. Long story short, waited until almost midnight to be seen by a Dr. Rojas who sent me to get Xrays, and he wasnt sure my nose was broken. One painkiller later and the worst attitude by one of the older nurses when I asked how much longer I had to wait besides the almost 6 hours I had been waiting, her answer was You have to wait, what you have to wait. I am 70 years old, diabetic, and have arthritis in my spine, which made my sitting in a chair for hours, very uncomfortable. Add to that the pain in my nose, the bleeding, and my uper jaw fracture, and you have a very sad outcome of a place that its suppose to help you heal. You have the most inept personnel at this facility. It took them a whole hour to give me the discharge papers. IF YOU NEED AN EMERGENCY PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE, BECAUSE IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, AND THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING.
Staff was ok but they want to give a cat scan for just about everything. I had a sever allergy cold and wanted a steroid shot to clear my sinus. They gave a over the counter decongestant that I could gotten my self. Plus the billing department don’t bill my insurance right for the second time and I have to fight collectors when I know I shouldn’t.
I took my wife here yesterday because she had a really bad sore throat. We were impressed with the courtesy and efficiency of the nurse, business manager, and physician (Dr. Torres). I am a professor at UTRGV school of medicine (they did not know this) and know how students are trained to be empathetic and polite caregivers. The staff and doctor at Rio Grande 24 Hour Emergency Care exemplify the way it should be.
WORST HOSPITAL! Youve been warned!I have been here once with my daughter, was here less than 30 minutes and received a bill for FIVE Thousand dollars!Have been here several times with other patients I transported and they do the minimum and dont even check on patients to make sure they are okay. They have a Male nurse bald headed with a beard, he is RUDE!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE....
Dr. Didnt listen, she examined a part that I never complained about and sent me on my way. I followed up with my regular Dr. Today and after evaluating the correct part of my complaint, he found a major mass growth growing in that spot. I called to complain today and Ill update on the outcome of their excuses and reimbursement or follow-up
I will NEVER take my children here EVER again!!!! Today I took my son, he was presenting many FLU like symptoms. When the PA saw him, in a small waiting room they have inside the treatment area, he immediately said this. I am going to go ahead and treat him for the FLU. There really isnt no actual treatment for tbe FLU just rest and lots of fluids. I will perscribe him Tamiflu as well. When I confronted him and told himI wanted him to run labs on my son and yest him for FLU and Strep, before prescribing any meds, he got real defensive, asking me why did I want him them to test him. I told him that I wanted to rule out any other possibilities there may be to his symptoms and if he does have the FLU, if the test comes back positive then I will accept the prescription. In the mean time I wanted him tested for FLU, Strep and labs. His response was that is not the way we do things here and just walked away. So I told him I was taking my son some place else, he immediately said I will prepare the discharge papers I was livid! Wjen walking out I told the nurses in the counter I am taking him! And one of the nurses said without tbe perscription I told him he could keep it, that I will be taking my son some place else. Another nurse immediately asked why? I told him that I wanted for my son to be tested for the Flu and strep before they perscribe him anything. The nurse kept on questioning me asking why I wanted him to be tested when he was presenting all the symptoms. I told him Because! That is how its supposed to be! You test him and if it comes out to be positive then you perscribe, I have neverrrrrrr been to an ER where they just take your temperature and here your breathing and immediately perscribe you Tamiflu without swabing first! Or checking him for strep! (My son was complaining about his throat hurting) he stood quiet and I walked out. Took my son to The childrens hospital in Edinburg and guess what!?!? They tested him for both FLU and Strep and he came back negative!!!!!! My son had a stomach virus NOT the FLU!!!!! No need for Tamiflu or any other meds!!!!!! 😡 This is how people die sometimes! Mis- Diagnosing!! Perscribing without running the correct test! They should be a shame of themselves!!!!!
I highly do NOT recommend THIS JOKE of an EMERGENCY ROOM. My wife had serious chest Pains, so i brought her in worried fricken sick, they check her vitals, send the Women from the front desk with her NON friendly appearance, gets my wife to sign the invoice of $1500 before they give her a PLACEBO!!!! And tell her shes being discharged. They didnt even recommend Anything Untill i asked the doctor what the heck is going on about the bill and absolutely nothing being done!I cannot explain to anyone in words how i felt about BEING HUSTLED by those i thought i could trust.
My dog scratched my cornea. It was very painful, so I went to this place at 6am. The doctor saw me for less than 1 minute, said I had to go see my eye doctor first thing in the morning, and sent the nurse to administer an eye drop for the pain - that was it. I waited there for about an hour before I was released. I just got an invoice for $1,300 for the physician charge - for the 30 SECONDS he took to literally just look at my eye. RIDICULOUS!
This is the WORST 24 hour emergency out there. Full of rude staff and disrespectful doctors.I had been to the emergency room earlier that day because it hurt when I took deep breathes. This was at Rio Grande in McAllen. They ran tests and everything nothing was wrong with my lungs, so I got discharged.A few hours later I started getting the worst pain of my life on my right lower side of my tummy, so I went the this ER since its close to my house. The nurse when I got there mind you I couldnt walk right or straighten my back because the pain was so intense. He looked at me asked what was wrong rolled his eyes. Proceeded to tell me to check in. When they call me in he says so whats the problem again? And I begain to explain how I had gone to the other hospital and was discharged but that I finally realized it was hurting to breathe in because of the pain from my tummy. Again rolled his eyes and says sooo you went somewhere else and now your here did you take any medince that doctor gave you before you came over here maybe that would of helped. By this time Im in agonizing pain and infuriated. We get sent to a room and the doctor comes in with fierce attitude and says so you came here after youve already been seen. What could be the problem. I let him know how rude the nurse was and he attacked me even raised his voice a little stating that NOONE IS BEING RUDE WE ARE HERE TO HELP IF YOU FEEL YOUR BEING DISRESPECTED YOUR MORE THEN WELCOME TO SIGN A PAPER AND GO ELSE WHERE. So I just got up and left. Came to Doctors Renaissance where I got help right away because I looked awful. Turns out I had appendicitis and it needed to be removed. If you dont like your job or cant contain your attitude you have no business in this field. The worst experience ever the rudest staff. What if my appendix had ruptured and these jerks were giving me a hard time instead of checking on the pain.
On feb 10 2017 i went in because i was having an alllergic reaction to my face. I go in to the room were registration happens a doctor dint even see me i decided just to go because a nurse came in and left and they want to charge me 700 dollars for the physician. Idk if this is a joke .
SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF TIME AND DO NOT GO TO THIS 24/7 Emergency Hospital. They do nothing to help you. Staff is rude. Leave you in a room for hours thinking youll get better by laying in a hospital bed???¿?¿ Decided to leave and the doctor came up to me saying I need to talk to you give me 5 minutes and still went off to do something else. Literally had to wait to be discharged. The doctor was Uril Greene. Before that, a nurse came in my room after I went outside to ask how much longer it was going to take and he said theres only one doctor and he sees patients on who is more sick and he stays with them if they need him more basically saying that my sickness was not much of his emergency. Anyway, save your time dont go here.
My wife went and they had no idea what they were even doing. Her foot was hurting so bad she couldnt walk on it and the doctor never even saw her and they didnt give her a damn thing not even crutches or anything. And when she asked if she could have something they just said, we have an ace bandage. They are incompetent, ill-prepared, and useless. The doctor had no idea how to even examine her foot and was only worried about whether there was a cafeteria on site. Just terrible. A complete joke.
Went in for uncontrollable symptoms of my chrons disease and left with instructions to eat more fiber and an anti diarrhea medicines. They let me lay from 7:00pm to 10:43 writhing in pain and begging anyone for help I saw. Im going to be frank they made fun of my pain they left me in pain and I recommend staying away. Die at home at least nurses wont be laughing at you outside the door.
I called over the phone to ask for information and the representative by the name of Chris was very rude and not helpful whats so ever! I was telling him my situation about my daughter having a sprained ankle and he was very cold about it . Instead of comforting me about the situation and telling me to go in . I wouldnt recommend this place what so ever!
I went this morning with a severe lower back pain, and the dr in charge told me that my condition wasnt what they call emergency. even though i went to the same clinic a couple of days ago and i had the same problem with my lower back only thay time i recevied medical attention immediately
This place doesnt even deserve 1 star but you have to choose one to rate it. Worst experience. Dr. If you can call her that didnt even bother telling us anything. They collected insurance information ant told us we could leave. I dont know what services they provide there. Complete waste of time.
Well I was going to take my daughter here just now but I’m not wanting to deal with what’s seems to me of people that just don’t care for other people it’s crazy that I seen only 3 good reviews and believe me I looked for a long time to see if it was best for me to take my daughter it’s funny to me that some one reply’s but the people still work there and nothing changes what’s the point of wanting feed back if it still stays the same way
I was there with chest pain they did an EKG and blood work and X-ray and the dr never saw me I was there for 6:30 hrs and nothing I took my IV myself and walk out and the nurse that was there just look at me and didnt say nothing, if my pain was nothing thank God all they had to do is tell me dont keep me there waiting

2022-08-20I was nervous due to the ratings and a past experience but the nurse and doctor were very nice and helpful when I had to go in late at night and continually checked on me during treatments. They were also helpful to my parents who had to go ask a question in my stead.

2022-08-11If I could give a zero I would! The male nurse working today was very rude and disrespectful when I was asking questions. I regret not getting a name but zero empathetic skills. As I was leaving because of the attitude he was giving when responding to my questions, he had the audacity to say, “there you go” to the security officer there. Like wow, you are ok with providing zero help and letting people walk out like you don’t want to do your job. I will never step here again. Customer service at its worst.

2022-08-09Horrible experience! I read the reviews however, decided to give it a chance. The staff were somewhat kind however, the doctor was extremely rude and was upset when I advocated for myself. Literally wasted my time since the doc said, I cant do anything for you. Had to sleek medical health elsewhere. Shouldnt even be open or considered an ER. If possible, go elsewhere!

2022-07-20Went in for tachycardia symptoms but I didn’t know what really was going on with me. The staff weren’t particularly friendly and didn’t seem concerned with me. Eventually, the doctor on duty walked in without making eye contact. He kept looking around as if he was looking around my room for a lost quarter and asked why I was there. His attitude made me feel like I was talking up his precious time. I was scared and at this point in disbelief. In the end, it was implied that they weren’t going to give me any medication (except Benadryl) to address my condition. I was made to feel like a fool. Not looking forward to the bill after being told it’s all in my head. Thank you heros at work at Rio Grande Regional.

2022-03-07Worst emergency clinic ever. If I could I would have given it 0 stars. The so called doctor didnt even check me, he touched my neck and then said to keep an eye on it. No tests, no blood work, nothing. Didnt even mention that my blood pressure was really high. What a joke. Then to top it all off they gave me discharge instructions for a child, seriously.

2022-02-04I’ve made the mistake of coming here a second time after a bad experience a few months ago because I wanted to give them a second chance. The first time I came in I was having a severe allergic reaction and they misdiagnosed me and gave me an overdose of medication that made things worse. Their customer service experience from beginning to end is just awful. They don’t follow through with sharing medical records post visit and make an already not ideal situation worse. If you want to avoid any further trouble to your medical emergencies avoid this place at all costs. I will say the nurses have been kind and this review does not reflect on them, just their doctors and receptionists.

The nurse said i probably threw up because i have anxiety and my fever waa at 101.8 and said i was fine. when i got back home it was at 103.8 tested today positove for covid. And he was soo sure i didnt have anything so sent me home after 3 mins of talkin to me.

2022-02-02I went in for shortness of breathe and turns out to Dr. López it wasn’t an emergency! They ran tests and everything, she said there was nothing wrong with me. Followed up with my pcp the next day and turned out my lungs were swollen! Thanks for nothing! So called “Heroes”!

2021-03-07I feel bad writing this review because I have had good experiences here. But more recently they have not been. One doctor, said I would have to be rushed to the hospital because of inflammation in my gallbladder, and gallstones. When he called the surgeon, the surgeon told him my gallbladder issue looked like a 1 or 2 on a scale to 10. And they let me go home. But I had to go though the unnecessary fear, worry, and planning for a surgery that didnt even happen.Friday night I ended up in the ER as well and was met with a very rude female doctor. I really wish I had gotten her name. She had glasses and short hair. Her bedside manner was INCREDIBLY rude. She talked down on me and spoke in only angry tones. It was super uncomfortable and I was happy to get out of there. Overall, this hospital will do way too many tests for things that are not related to why you went in, and their staff is incredibly rude. I am not in the health industry, but I do wish more nurses and doctors talked to people like theyre human. Finally, I am giving the review 3 stars instead of 1 because there was a nurse who attended to me that was beyond loving and kind. His name was Jesee and he spoke to me while looking me in the eye, and asked if I wanted to talk about the issue that I went in for. As I cried, examining my life, he was able to reassure me and give me encouragement. He was gentle in how he gave his care. This nurse receives my 5+ star rating.
