Lamont is the best. I needed a quick look at the oil in my new-to-me car that I had just purchased three days ago. Oil leaking had me worried, but it ended up just being a simple fix that the dealership forgot to tighten a bolt. Great customer service from the second I spoke to Lamont. Im so grateful for this business, So I made an appointment at a different business to get my brakes done on my car. I get to the buisness at my scheduled time and Im told the Tech is not there yet and their not sure what time he will get there. So at this point I have to find another place to take my car and Im late for work. Luckily after searching online I find Express Oil change and Tire Engineers. I called and spoke to LaMonta and from that phone call to the end of my car being serviced my experience was amazing. Customer service and my car service was outstanding. I definitely will be a returning customer
I was blown away by the amazing service that I received from both Corey and Daniel. They took care of me in a way that far exceeded my expectations and were a Godsend, truly. There is this nasty stereotype going around that mechanics are not trustworthy, but the exact opposite is true here. I have a totally new belief system around mechanics as good honest people thanks to Corey and Daniel! I would highly suggest going to the Express Oil Change for your automotive needs and will in the future recommend this business for anyone I know in the area. Words cant express my gratitude. My experience with this business was simply for an oil change. I was promptly greeted and instructed to pull the car up and wait for guidance to enter the garage bay. The gentleman that was attending to my oil change was friendly, but I was not very pleased with my overall experience for the following reasons:After completion of the oil change, I arrived back at home and popped the hood of my car just to check fluid levels and overall condition of the engine components since I will be going on a long road trip within the next few days. First thing I noticed was that the removable lid for the engine air filter was unlocked (unattached) and sitting loose. I checked the receipt to see if this is something that is checked during the oil change - and of course, it is. How hard is it to re-attached the locking mechanisms after you inspect the air filter?Also, I asked about high mileage oil and the same gentleman said that he recommends full synthetic and not the high mileage, because the high mileage oil is only a synthetic blend. I questioned this, as I was under the impression that high mileage engine oil had full synthetic varieties. He assured me that this is not correct - yet lo and behold, a quick Google search back home revealed a Valvoline Full Synthetic High Mileage engine oil available at your local big box store. I am just your average Joe when it comes to vehicle maintenance, so I may be missing something here, but I feel like I was fed the wrong information from the guy who should be an expert in this field.After reading all of the high reviews regarding exceptional service and professionalism, I do not think the service that I received comes close to matching what I witnessed.
I love me some Royal Purple engine oil. It got rid of an annoying little tick in my 3rd Gen Tacomas engine. But recently all the oil change places are out of that brand. After calling half dozen shops they all told me they were out and hung up the phone. This was the only place that recommended I go and purchase the oil and filter from Oreillys and being it to them to change. And thats exactly what I did. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Fast, friendly service and a competent staff. Ill be back.
Went to get my car inspected. I waited at the bay for 5 minutes until someone directed me to a diffrent bay. And then spent 20 minutes waiting in my car to be told to leave my keys in the car and go inside that they would grab the inspector. Waited another 30 MINUTES while some old guy ranted to me about gun politics and eventually I just got up and told them I was leaving. Which they replied that they were short staffed and didnt have an inspector anywyas. So I spent an hour trying to get my car inspected and was the most awkward expierence ever.
I came in for a typical oil change. It went quick and they put on a new set of wiper blade for me. What made me want to leave a review was the fact that my hood has, as of recently not been able to close all the way. James went above and beyond his job, and for a good 15 min attempted, and eventually succeeded on getting it to close! Definitely not what I came in for but I left with my car having had an oil change, new air filter, a set of new wipers installed, and a hood that finally closes! Thank you guys, and especially James, on your professionalism and doing a fantastic job for me and my vehicle!
I am so grateful for these guys. Huge shout -out to Carlos, Dusty, and James and the rest of the team. I had an unfortunate accident, and both of my vehicles were unable to start. The first just needed a battery, and they were able to get it within 30 minutes or so.The second was terrible, as my beautiful indoor cat had somehow gotten outside and crawled up in the engine. He was tragically killed when the vehicle was turned on. I had the vehicle towed to the ONLY place that would help. I was hysterical trying to get him out, but was unable to get him out myself. After many shops turned me away, I asked these guys. I go to them for oil changes and didnt think they would do it either, but they were calm, polite, and so very helpful on such an awful day. They were able to respectfully remove my pet so that he could be buried. It took quite a few people, and a lot of their time to take car apart. Thank you guys so much; I wish you all the blessing this life can give.
Workers joked around the entire I was there getting my oil changed and did not close my oil cap correctly which resulted in my motor having to be replaced. Didn’t check my brakes nor signals and didn’t top up nor check my fluids. I paid $130 for them to do NOTHING correctly! Definitely do not recommend!
Lamar took great care of us every held a conversation while his team do the oil change. Even wiped my windshield cleaned cause it was dusty. I’ve never received this type of service before and I’ve been coming to this company for a year and a half. 5 star service guarantee!
Dusty and Luis did an absolute amazing job on my transmission for my Explorer. Top notch work. Providing the up most and excellent customer experience. Running better than ever. Today, no employee has on a mask! This is first and most. Next, the Assistant Manager Tajhee went to the store. What the hell? You are opened and want a break now. Corey, the Manager, is not here today. All I need is a tire rotation. This location excellent customer service is NO MORE! A 20 minute tire rotation is taking hours when there is only 3 cars here mine and two other people. NO! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. CORPORATE WILL HEAR FROM ME!
I have to testify that there are still honest good people among us, I am grateful to Carlos and his staff for that and more. I was told by a Midas oil tech last month that my transmission, break and coolant were all low and to have them flushed and refilled would be well over $400 ($300 if I came back to them to do the job) Im glad I put that off and got a 2nd opinion. Carlos and his staff looked at all my fluids and they are all at the levels they need to be and are all clean. He even apologized for the tech at Midas for trying to pull one over me in getting $300 for something I didnt need. I highly recommend Express oil Change for all their changes and questionable doubts about what someone else may have said their vehicle may need. I will never allow anyone to pressure me into making hasty decisions about what my vehicle needs without a 2nd opinion. I will be coming back to Express oil for all my vehicles oil changed and other fluid needs. Thank you guys for your honesty! ❤️
Clayton and staff were absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the whole process of getting my car fixed. I was notified daily (sometimes twice a day) on the status of the repair and they worked with my schedule to get my car back to me as quickly as possible. They found an additional part that needed repaired once they started working, fixed it, but remained true to the original quote we agreed on. That spoke volumes to me! They assured me if I have any problems at all, not to worry and to come back so they can look it over again at no cost. Honest, hard-working, and friendly staff! I highly recommend!
Service was excellent, I didnt rate it give stars because they dont let you out of your vehicle, while this is considered convienant for most people, on a typical Texas simmer summer afternoon, waiting in your vehicle in the heat for 15 minutes with no air is super inconvenient. But the service was excellent.
This is over a month due review but better late than never . This place is awesome! They are friendly and honest . I will always take my Mitsubishi Lancer and Toyota Sienna in to this very professional shop because they have 100% integrity and get the job done . Sincerely Jim Stewart .
My parents and I have been taking our vehicles here for years now. One time I took my car here because it kept drifting to the right despite alignments from the Ford Dealership. They instantly found that 1 tire was the wrong size and was causing my car to drift.Recently I took my new car to get inspected for squeaking/squealing brakes. They said my brake pads and rotors were new, and just sprayed a desqueaker can on my brakes which resolved my issue. I knew they were honest because I barely know a thing about car maintenance and they decided to not charge me or even try to replace the pads/rotors.Great service from the front desk, manager, and techs in the garage.
Highly regretting going here now due to my ac not working anymore after they were repairing something else on it. Hoping to have it fixed, or getting a refund. Everything seemed fine until now a day after their work was done..UPDATE: HAD TO GO BACK AND PAY FOR A QUOTE AND FOR THEM TO FIX MY AC. PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED. JUST STILL FIND IT WEIRD IT STOPPED WORKING OUT OF NO WHERE.
WORST customer service Id rate them even lower if I could. Went in for a 10 minute oil change and was stuck there for over an hour. The mechanic broke my dipstick and took over an hour to complete my oil change. They didnt offer to replace it or any kind of discount on the service for my time or their mistake. I was giving them a second chance after they broke my wifes transmission dipstick and hid it only to be discovered later by another shop. I get that customer service is dying but this is ridiculous Ill never take either of our cars there again.
I had a great experience here today, the crew was very friendly. I called ahead and spoke to Mr. Peston and explained that I was on my way that I wanted to make sure I wasnt going be late. Told come before 6 closing and they would take care me. Got there 10 minutes to spare and they did. This is going to be my spot for my full service care service care.Thank you guys
The team at this location has always done an excellent job each time I go. They always give me notices and information on my car without the pressures of them trying to sell things you dont need yet. They go out of their way each time to give you a quick, friendly, and thorough service. I always go back here!
These guys go above and beyond for their customers!! (In my case, not yet even a customer). I had the pleasure of meeting this group of gentleman yesterday. And I say pleasure because thats what they turned it into! They did beyond what the job title requires of them and I cant thank them enough!!!! Joshua and Nick were the main 2 assisting in my car issues and and my car couldnt have been in better hands! They worked diligently and made one hell of a first impression. Needless to say you guys have my business going forward! Trustworthy, knowledgeable and kind! I will be back and will be putting the word out that this is the place to go!!!!
Great customer service (this is about my 4th time getting an oil change here, and every employee Ive come in contact with thus far has been pretty friendly & helpful). 3 out of the 4 times were fast, the 1 out of the 4 times there was 2 cars ahead of me but still it went by quickly (but when you drive up someone immediately comes to assist you even if theres a line, they always keep you updated). I love that I never have to get out of my car. They always try to give me some type of discount for the next time too. Keep up the good work!
Recently went with my mom to change her oil, was told by a friend that Express oil change was the way to go. As soon as we pulled up the manager Clayton immediately came out to welcome us and pointed us into the garage where they got started fast. While we where waiting Clayton brought us some water and treated us great. Because of how nice and curtious he was we will definitely be back! Thank you Clayton!!!
So my fiance has been bringing our vehicles here for a couple of years without a lot of checking from me... and I needed an oil change and thought I would come through and see how they did. I do almost everything that needs to be done to my own car because Im fairly mechanically inclined naturally, and happen to be an Industrial mechanic as well. I usually pay shops to do easy things like oil and filters under the car because my mustang is low and its a pain to get it up, not to mention that its USUALLY cheaper to have someone do oil than it is for me to buy the oil and filter at MY cost, then hassle with the small labor of it as well. A tactic I often use to see whether or not I trust a place is to dress a little nicer and not say much to see what they charge, and how they conduct business. To have this company do my oil change and fuel filter cost me $102 today; a pretty heavy amount by any stretch of the imagination. Keep in mind, not one word was ever spoken to me about pricing or options. When all was said and done, they up-charged me to high mileage oil, no consultancy, and charged me $45 for a $16 fuel filter. I make good money so the $102, to me, was a small price to pay to find out what a company is worth, and that my fiance and I will not be going back.
Stopped for a quick oil change and they did the usual “you need a new air filter, tire rotation” etc which I said no. The tech said he cleaned off my battery because it was corroded and I said okay. When I was leaving we did the whole lights, blinker, honk thing and when he told me to turn on my car - my car wouldn’t start. Battery wasn’t working at all. Mind you - I’ve had my car for two years and have never even had an error light and now it’s completely dead at an oil change... don’t think so. Guys tried to tell me it was because i had a bad battery and I needed to replace it or get it worked on but I told them to jump it and let me leave. So they reconnected the battery and let me on my way. I will never go to this establishment again purely because I believe that they tried to rip me off.
I must say the staff at Express Oil Change are very friendly and quick. I was most impressed with Mr. Wayne, the AC gentleman man! He is the best, this man knows his craft and saved me a lot of money! Mr. Wayne is very honest and I would recommend him over and over again!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to you Mr. Wayne!
I recommend anyone to go to Express Oil change. Everytime Ive ever needed an oil change I would receive the best customer service. They always check everything with your car to make sure you are good to go before you leave. If you ever decide to go, make sure you ask for Theodore.
Went to get an oil change, in an out within 15 minutes. They worked quick and even washed my window and sprayed my door with oil. I am always scared to go to car shops to only be screwed at the end because I dont know anything about cars or oil. Ive paid almost $60 bucks at jiffy lube for a standard oil change. This place is half that! AWESOME place and would recommend to anyone! Edward the manager was so incredibly nice as well. Look forward to seeing you guys again the next 3,000 miles.
Brought in My F 250 Super Duty this morning for a brake job. Had major grinding in the front. Knew up front what my cost would be. Nothing hidden. Very professional and informative. Knowledgeable. Used quality parts. In and out in a couple of hours. Drove like it did the day I bought it. Highly recommend.
I want to give a shoot out to the current crew that is at this location. I needed to get a tire replaced and the tire I initially ordered was out of stock even though I was told it wasn’t. A manager or supervisor, charged me the price of the first tire that was out of stock but gave me the tire they actually had in stock, which happened to be a better quality tire. He did not have to do this but little actions like these go far when dealing with customer service. I wish I would have gotten his name to give him a direct shout out.
My worst nightmare experience - had an oil change, transmission fluid change and spark plug change done about 6 weeks ago - 10 days ago, I was driving on the freeway with my family when the check engine, stability control and transmission control lights came on. I immediately left the freeway, made a u-turn and went to the dealership near my place. The result was that one of the spark plugs broke off and fell into the cylinder, creating a major problem... $4400 in repairs by the dealer ship since the spark plug thread by the broken one was ripped out - new cylinder head, etc. - I was not even able to drive the car off the lot. Luckily, I was able to trade the car in and still got some money back to ease my loss.After going back to Express Oil Change, they had to talk to their superior who did not give a dime about his customers. All I got was: did you read the fine print? All I asked was to share, not even fully compensate me for my loss, which considering the time I spent with loss of income comes much over $5000. As a real customer orientated company, they would have shared my loss since this must have happened because their mechanic apparently did not complete the job properly. Why otherwise would the threat of the broken spark plug be ripped out in the cylinder head? And why in the first place would the part of the spark plug brake off and fall into the engine after having them replaced 6 weeks ago? This is not rocket science but straight mechanics.Sadly, I cannot recommend Express Oil Change after having had this experience and I certainly will not have them touch my care ever again.
Went for quick smog inspection and they told me “it will be quick, we are not too busy”. Wrong! The guy who does the inspections was just waking around, and chatting fun stuff with his colleague, and when a young lady showed up with her car, he went straight there “to get her order”. When I inquired about the estimated duration of the inspection (LOL) his colleague tells me “give us a few more minutes- he is busy with a client”. I understand... I wish I was a young lady so I can get faster more efficient client service. But I am just an average joe who wants to get the inspection done during his lunch break.
Clayton saved my worries and stress levels. Being a single divorce parent...with a college daughter in which l just paid partial tuition...Clayton and staff told care of my daughters suddenly car engine failure...had her in her car within a week. Along with keeping his promise 2 find us the best deal for low economic price. Did l mention warranty with the engine...forever grateful a Praise God...4 these men..
I cant say enough as to how great the service was at this place. Accidentally put some gas in my Touareg Tdi and took it to these guys to have the tank pumped. They dropped us off at home and even picked us up when it was done. They even worked late to make sure the car was back to us. Very quick turn around as well. The owner Stegg, and employees Preston and Mario were very professional. I will be going back.
If you are looking to get your car inspected go somewhere else. Took a car last year, they found a small tear in the wipers and told me I was going to fail if I didn’t replace them there. This year I took the same car again since its so close to me and they “found” a tear again in the same 2 wipers they sold me. To test this for myself I took my other car and checked the wipers before I took it and the guy comes back to me AGAIN that they found a tear in one of the wipers. HOW????? I promise you I am not kidding when I say you will end up paying triple for a state inspection here.
DO NOT service your vehicle at their 2920 location. They are irresponsible and inconsiderate of peoples lives. I took my car there for a basic oil change and they didnt place the oil filter right or tighten it. I drove my car with my children for miles to their appointment unbeknownst to me that ALL the oil of the car was spilling on I-45. My car stopped in the highway with my kids in it placing our lives in danger. I had to call a tow truck to take my car to the dealership and they showed me the damage Express Oil Change had made because of their irresponsibility. I called them that day and they hung up on me and when I went there the next day, they wouldnt give me the time of day to show them pictures of the damage done and receipts of what I had to pay for the repairs.If you care for your life and your vehicle, DO NOT bring your car here.
Gave an incorrect diagnostic, made me drive it across town to get a new fuel cap. The cap didnt fix anything and now my car is totaled. This is the definition of a crooked place. They charge obscene amounts of money for anything, and they will do whatever it takes to make a quick buck and not do work. If you have a brand new car and need a fast oil change go here, I guess. But if youre someone with a job, a life, and a car that needs any kind of help, DO NOT GO HERE!!!
Do not take your vehicle to this shop. Went in to get a oil change and the first thing I saw was one of the employees smoking in the shop ... 2nd after my oil change was done a Hispanic guy told me the credit card machine was down and that cash could only be excepted. His name was Maurice . Then he came to me and said. That he was sorry about the inconvenience and that he would do the oil change full synthetic for 50.00 cash.So with that being said theres a bunch of thieves working there. I wont be back. . Ive been a customer there since Stegg and Joe ran the place ..plz beware of the scams people
I visited this business yesterday only to have my privacy violated by their extremely disrespectful employees. As I was outside of my vehicle with my 4 year old son standing in the bay when I had the General Manager distract me by pointing to my engine while the service tech casually walked behind me and too a picture up my dress with his phone!! I caught him because his phone made contact with the back of my thigh. I immediately called him out on it and he denied it! I then called the police and are having them investigated because this is apparently the guys second incident in two weeks!!! Stay away from this trash ridden and predator infested so-called business!!!!!After my disgusting experience at this so called business on Monday, where an employee took a picture up my dress, of course I reached out to corporate only to receive a call from the franchise owner Stegg Hooks, who I might add is just as unprofessional and condescending as his shady employees. He gave me a call with hopes of settling but really trying to bribe me. He first told me he would release the video footage of the incident as well as all of Robert Gribbons information to the police but when I got there he offered me an OIL CHANGE to take down my negative reviews about this place, when I turned down the service he then offered me $200 to take them down. I could not have been more insulted!! When I was speaking to Mr.Hooks, he enlightened me that this was not the guys first incident of upskirting a female but had also previously been caught on camera stealing a phone from a customer. THESE PEOPLE ALLOW CRIMINALS TO CONTINUE WORKING HERE WHILE CONTINUING TO COMMIT CRIMES! When the police officer arrived to their facility to retrieve the evidence he then denied to release it until they got subpoena, all because I refused his insulting offers to take down my reviews. He was more worried about the reviews than helping get this sexual predator convicted! Disgusting!
Can believe this is the second time I go here but this time they really did some wrong to my car I only when for oil change and now my car is smoking and throwing oil everywhere and now I have the engine light on and has no oil any more I’m not a mechanic but they forgot to put something back or they put something wrong I’m so angry now I really hope they fix all the problem this cause can’t drive my car any more

2022-03-16Excellent service! I went in for an oil change and Tajee provided very thorough service and took time to explain everything so that I understood exactly what my car needed. He found an AC filter that had never been changed and made sure to get it fixed as well. Definitely recommend.

2022-06-04Staff members responsive at all times making customer know they welcome and appreciate their business.Quality service, knowledgeable in all aspects of auto and truck vehicles. Offer full service operational hours offer servics when most competitors closed.My last visit was within five minutes of them closing.....however the staff had no issues with changing oil and state inspection completed only 15 min after closing on a Saturday evening.....I recommend this facility for all of your vehicle maintaine and service needs.

2022-06-22Good Morning I just left Express Oil Change @ 2144 FM 2920 and the service I had was phenomenal Tajee Fitzgerald made my visit extremely well with his fast and efficient serviceI went in thinking I would have to leave my car for an oil change but he was able to have me in and out in less than 30 minutes and that in it self was important to me.Thank you for the great service!!!

2022-07-02Got an oil change, tire rotation, and courtesy inspection done. No lines, so service was quick. Tajee and Jason are very nice and professional! They even helped me look for the key to rotate my tires (which I didn’t even know existed and unfortunately, we could not find). I took out all my stuff from the back of my car and they helped me put it back in my car without me asking. Appreciate their help!

2022-06-27Had a part changed out on my car and got my car back in the same condition i took it in for repairs for. Was told i needed a certain part to finish the job and was told theyd look for it for me. They never called me back. I returned to the shop and let them know my car isnt fixed and called them again and didnt even remember me as a customer. Now my car has no breaks at all and i cant drive it. Very dissatisfied. Very unprofessional. I will not be returning to the shop for any further repairs.
