Just know youre not getting your money back on that mandatory lock purchase. They cut the packaging before dropping it in your locker.
When in a time crunch to find storage the Windsor staff has been quite helpful in determining the size unit I would need. Holly helped to reserve. Thank you for the help and assistance.

I, absolutely, love this place and how it makes me feel my stuff is very safe and secure. Asia was great and very helpful! She has a great store manager as well! My knee was really painful when I got to the storage with my suitcases and to my surprise, Asia the manager both came out and help me to put my suitcases in the storage. I can’t thank them enough but all I can say is extra space storage got some excellent good workers here that can go beyond and above to help their customers. Please, keep them here.
Beyond pleased with this place! Stephanie was incredibly helpful as we added units, moved units, etc. Clean and well kept and super convenient, especially love the drive in accessibility to avoid the outside elements. They are not the cheapest, but you certainly get what you pay for and very much worth every penny!
Asia is the best! Weve used this storage facility for years. It is clean, well maintained, and the staff is professional, honest, helpful, and friendly. If you decide to rent from these folks ask for Asia. She is helpful, knowledgeable, understanding, and follows through. Asia said shed get some answers for us and call us back. Best ever, she actually called us back with answers! Hope this helps. Rent from them. You wont be sorry you did.

This place is very clean, and all around just the easiest storage experience ive ever had. It is a fair price, a very convenient location, and helpful staff. It was just as easy to set up an account as it was to close out the account. I left my unit open, swept, and since I happened to have a Swiffer, I went ahead and mopped my unit. Left it as clean as the day I got it! Thank you Extra Space team for the good experience. Next time I need a unit, im using Extra Space Storage!
Joel Brueland was the store manager at the Windsor Street location off 8th Ave in FW, TX and I never met him. All of his employees were courteous and helpful but I found the rate increases that began soon after I moved into first one unit and then a second and third unit, very frustrating. I also resented the mandatory insurance coverage requirement. As far as I’m concerned that’s just another way to increase profits. The space was clean and convenient but just became prohibitively expensive. I’m moving down the street to a local family run storage unit that somehow manages to provide quick and friendly service and keep their prices low and reasonable. I would not recommend Extra Space to any of my friends for reasons of expense.Billy Hassell

The staff and everyone working at the 8th street location was absolutely incredible!!! Low star rating because ES Storage would up rent every few months or so. What started out as a great deal ended up costing outrageous amount of money for storage. I only got notified once for one of the price increases, but found out through debit card charges the other times. If you use Extra Space Storage plan ahead!!!!

The holidays are a fuss for our family as decorations come down and more come up as each month passes. And time and time again we have used storage units that have damaged our goods from the lackluster care of the staff, or they have been ruined by the elements and wildlife that would happen to scurry or crawl through whatever was within the unit. However, with Extra Space Storage everythings changed! Not only with their indoor units and clear sense of organization that the staff offers, but we feel a clear sense of peace that our goods are not only preserved but safe. And on top of it all, one of their staff members that I routinely have had the opportunity to interact with, Holly Ramón, has truly been a pleasure. If you happen to read this review, I strongly recommend that you request for her because you will not regret the exceptional service that this company provides. Thank you, Extra Space Storage.
*** Update *****( my first month renting here and mine and several other units had gotten broken into.[I dont necessarily blame extra space for thieves]. I was contacted by the store manager and told about the break in. When I went to the office it was near closing time and all I needed was the phone number for the insurance company so I could file a claim. Colton, one of the employees there was rude and was kicking me out the office telling me they where closed. There was still 5 minutes before closing time. Colton tried pushing me out and closing the door on my foot. He threatened to call the police on me. Another associate overheard the commotion and pulled Colton from the door, apologized for his behavior, and gave me the phone numbers I needed. I waited till the police arrived since I didnt want to be seen as leaving the scene of an incident. So not only did unit get burglarized, I was physically assaulted, and had the cops called on me and Colton continued to work at that facility for a couple months afterwards. I hated renting there after this incident and moved shortly after. Please take notice that management didnt do anything to rectify this matter. I would never do business with extra space and recommend no one else to do so either.***original review***Came here to price out a unit. Stephanie the agent was so friendly and the units where so clean. We got the unit right away. So glad we did
The need for excess storage led me to this convenience location off 8th Ave in Fort Worth. The staff was courteous and did a commendable job, from the day I rented a unit to the day I closed it. Highly recommended. Much more professional approach than some of the established competition.
We really enjoyed our experience with Extra Space! The most notable part of our experience was the exceptional customer service we were treated with by Joel. He was fast, efficient, hospitable, and very attentive to our needs. Being new to the area we did not know where to go, but in hindsight ,we knew that we were in the right place. I also must mention how clean the facility is, how you get to drive your car through the gate inside of the building to access your storage, and the convenient loading carts they have available for use. With their affordable pricing as well, you won’t regret storing your items here.

Very clean, but deceptive prices and shady practices. The cost of my unit DOUBLED after a few months with no notice. Local staff was fairly pleasant, but corporate was incredibly rude and would not negotiate. I wish I would have checked the reviews before deciding on this place.

Kept my belongings here for three years and never had an issue within any scope. Staff was great, very personable, and they made the process for signing/closing the lease straightforward and simple.

From the interaction with the national reservation people to the manager of the property, I was treated with respect & courtesy. I was especially impressed with Stephanie, the property manager. She was efficient, explained things thoroughly and took the time to walk me to the units to ascertain which was best for me. Stephanie has excellent customer service skills! Plus the prices were better than most in my area for climate controlled storage. The required insurance seems high but I can pursue that through another outlet. Overall: very impressed.
Extra Space on Windsor Place is a wonderful facility. Excellent customer service! Thank you Joel for being so professional and accommodating when I came in to get my unit. The place is so conveniently located, it’s climate controlled and you can drive into an air conditioned bay to access your unit. This is a big plus making it very secure. They even provide carts for moving your belongings. It was also the most affordable option. I’m very impressed. Thank you!
As a former regional manager of storage facilities in the 2000s this place blows it out of the water. With a pull through loading area, 2 cargo sized elevators and 4 new functioning carts it exceeds my expectations.I will continue to store here for some time to come.Office staff is also friendly, honest and knowledgeable.Update: I just moved out today after being there a year and I can say I wont store anywhere else again. Extra space has a perfect design for ease of coming and going. Friendly and helpful staff.10/ 10 recommended

This place is amazing! You want to talk about the nicest service, EVER? I primarily dealt with Colton, but everyone is so competent! I am the mother of a college student, and the past few months have been very challenging. Extra Space Storage took the stress of finding a space for my daughters belongings away, guiding us through the process from start to finish, and being so reliable. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing a storage space. Plus, their prices are very affordable, the facility is very clean. Really the best experience I could have wished for. I ended up renting 2 spaces here in between deciding to put my house on the market and moving out of state. The employees here have been wonderful to work with, the spaces were clean and there were always carts available. They’ve improved the security on the building in the past few months as well. I liked that everything was inside — I felt secure going over to grab something or drop off boxes after 8pm. Overall, I recommend.
This is a very nice A/C climate controlled unit brand new looking facility. Ive been storing stuff at this location for months now. Even better than the facility is the work personnel! Anytime I run into any problems Stefani Mitchell the store manager has always been able to kindly and swiftly work with me and help take care of the issues for me. She is very friendly, welcoming, and her work ethic is top notch! Would highly recommend and will continue to be a customer due to the top level of service she provides! Thank you!
Extra Space Storage is a very nice and clean facility with a lot of great staff there to help you out. I got Aubrey who was nothing but helpful in my transition of moving. She was nice and helped me through everything by finding me the best deals and answered every question I had with ease.

Looking to switch location, price started at $57 for my space, the increased to $68, normal increment right?Now they are telling me the new price next minth is $136, this is not a normal increment this is awful almost 3 times more of a year ago !!

This has been the greatest storage experience I’ve ever had, all thanks to Colton. I previously lived in Dubai for two years and kept my stuff in storage here. Anytime my card wouldn’t work as I was overseas he would always give me a friendly non aggressive call just updating me and always helped me get through any challenge that arose. The storage units are extremely clean, even after two years it was almost spotless in my unit. The staff here all care greatly and are always extremely helpful. Again, every time I return Colton greets me by name and remembers my story, could not ask for better service and units. Will be a customer for a very long time thanks to these great people!
Great rate prices than other storage places we’ve looked into! Has climate control , security cameras, and easy access to get into your unit! Johnnie was very helpful on deciding the perfect size for our needs and took her time to explaining everything to us even after being 6pm. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a storage place!

Amazing customer service. Stayed late to wait for me to show up so I could unload when I arrived. One small tech problem wouldn’t let me get onto the elevator with my passcode, luckily a Good Samaritan helped me into the elevator and before I got around to calling them to get it fixed, they called me to get it fixed. I’d say....it’s pretty top notch

Charles was super helpful to get space on phone then Ashley had all details, showed me space and immediately got me very efficiently all checked in and boom! I had a space discounted, with lock and insurance within minutes! She was friendly, efficient and super helpful!!!!
So far, so good!! Much closer than my current unit, MUCHO less expensive, the managers were very nice, and check-in efficient. PLUS, the unit is climate controlled with dollies and elevators and easy access. Close to TCU, feel like this place should be full all the time. So glad I switched from Public Storage!!

This has been the best storage place yet. Not that Ive been to alot. LolFacility is so clean, staff is very helpful.Getting and paying for storage along with signing documents didnt take no more than 15 mins. Very easy. Eden was very nice and chatty, just like me. Very pleased.

We had all of our very expensive bikes stolen from inside the facility. It is not secure and unless you purchased their insurance they don’t do anything to help you.They simply cut our lock and stole our stuff...from inside the “secure facility”.We would have been better leaving them laying in our yard.

Jana was great! I had to move in earlier than expected and she accommodated me and showed me how their facilities work! First month is free and their facilities are clean and secure!
If I could give this place a 0 starts I would. Where do we start. I was hesitant on renting from this place due to the overwhelming issues with water damage. I went ahead and rented a 10x15 as well as obtained insurance. On the first day I notified the person who worked there that we had to move in that day and I asked if it would be ready. The worker replied yes that we could begin moving in at anytime from here on our. We hired movers packed up most of our belongings and headed to the storage unit only to find that they never removed the lock. We then had to pack everything back up in the truck, back to our house and unpack everything. This costed us not only money but an estimated 5 hours of our time. I called the storage unit the next day and they were apologetic and gave us an extra month free. (This was great considering the second month they ended up charging us, thus far we will see what happens if we still end up getting that second month credit).Fast forward a few weeks. We headed to our unit to add More stuff to our storage unit only to find that there was a water leak and mold growing on our antique desk. There was puddles of water on top of our Tupperware boxes and our boxes had signs of being wet. We have insurance thankfully and have started a insurance claim. The worker kindly agreed to move us to a different unit in the same building, however every unit we looked at on an outside wall had signs of water on the wall. We asked for a storage unit on the second floor In the center of the building. The price we were paying was $86.00 per month. We didn’t have a choice and had to get a smaller storage unit that we knew wouldn’t fit all of our stuff. Our new unit, 300sq ft smaller is now costing us $75.00 per month. We need the original signs so they offered to rent us a smaller storage unit next to our current unit, however management is unwilling to work with us. The second unit in addition to our current one will cost us $125 total. So in order to get the original sq footage that we need we have to pay and additional $50.00 per month, plus we have to pay and additional sign up fee. All because their unit flooded (for the 3rd time in less than a year) causing us havoc. The manager is unwilling to offer us any incentive other than $6.00 off our second storage unit fee per month. Too me this is terrible customer service. This place has been nothing but a nightmare for us.We have to be out of our current place in 2Days and needless to say are in a pickle. I’d be very cautious about renting from this place. And just know that if something happens they will not work with you, nor even call you back in a reasonable time frame. If you rent here you rent at your own risk.

This is our 2nd year of using this Extra Space Storage Site for storing our childs items during the summer. Location is close to TCU. The team is customer focus and very engaged. Facilities are impressive and secure.
Man at the desk was polite didn’t appear to hate his job and got all problems I had solved quick, seem decent enough but they do like raising the rate, usually at the end of the quarter but it’s not to bad of a raise
Renters beware: ExtraSpace Storage on WindsorLike a new restaurant with terrible food, this ExtraSpace Storage on Windsor left me with a bad taste in my mouth.Yesterday, I was notified there “may be” some water in my unit. Indeed, there was. A water leak inside the facility caused water damage to contents in multiple units. Personally, I lost a couch and 3 shelving units.Even though the leak was caused by the storage facility’s plumbing, they claim to hold no responsibility... unless I had paid for the extra insurance, which I did not. Management was quick to remind me of this, and insistent that they were in no way liable. I will be removing all of my remaining items from this place in June, and I recommend caution when considering this facility. It may leave you feeling a bit... soggy.

I dont have a storage there but I make deliveries there. They have clean area where you can drive inside and move your things in or out. Clean restrooms with auto sensors lights and some doors.

2022-07-18Holly is everything from customer service to being a fantastic rep for this business. She’s personable and friendly. Cares deeply for her job. My experience with her has been nothing short of outstanding in all capacities. I don’t leave reviews often but her service is impeccable. The facilities were great as it’s temperature controlled and easy in and out with use of 2 elevators. Seamless to move my items. Thank you for a wonderful experience

2022-05-21Outstanding experience from start to finish. Used to store a lot of stuff for my graduating TCU student until he moves into apartment. The reservation/contract process was flawless, easy, and quick. On move in date, I was greeted by a very friendly and very knowledgeable staff person-Stephanie- who escorted us to our unit and explained the lock, etc. Stephanie also helped with my reservation so I had the privilege of working with her twice. I could not be more pleased with the service or caliber of the personnel at Ft. Worth Extra Space Storage- Windsor. Highly recommend! TCU parents--this is it!

2022-06-22I initially signed up for a storage on November 20, 2021 w/ Stephanie who was “amazing” in every sense of the word, however there was a mishap with my specific storage unit a couple of days later and once I noticed the situation and brought it to Stephanie’s attention she immediately rectified and resolved the issue. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service I received and the overall appearance and maintenance of this facility. Stephanie is Awesome!!!Well here I am at the finish line and the journey was smooth my unit served it’s purpose and the assistance I received from start to finish was excellent! Everything was handled with a sense of urgency, respect & great care. If I should EVER need another storage unit I know where I’ll be going! What an amazing experience as quality customer service is truly getting harder & harder to come by these days? Thank you Holly for my smooth exit!!!

2022-06-07Update 6/7: I am still impressed by the facility and renting experience. Lee was great. However be aware of price increases without warning! I agreed on the rental at $101/mo. 2 months later, I get a text that my rent increased to $168/mo, and was charged immediately. Thats almost a 70% increase with no warning!! Now I have a storage unit packed full and have to choose between moving all my stuff or continuing to pay the increased price. Talk about rock and a hard place....Original:I had a great experience renting with Extra Space over the weekend. The assistant manager, Lee was onsite. He was very helpful and accommodating. He took the time to understand my needs and find the best solution. Later in the day when I went to drop stuff off at the new unit, I even saw him sweeping up and moping carts!While shopping around, most prices/facilities were comparable. The main difference was in the personnel.

2022-07-28Possibly the cleanest storage place Ive ever used. They keep up with cleaning and maintenance and Ive never had an issue. I dont love the price increases, but its certainly worth it for a temporary time.
