I absolutely love this place! Their food is ALWAYS amazing and I just love the people that own/work there. They are always super friendly, they get to know their customers and even remember their usual orders. If they arent slammed they come out and talk to their guests. They are just great people and always make you enjoy being there!
Best Sammie Shop! I love subs and sandwiches. This place uses very fresh ingredients. Meats on Meats! The sammies are stacked! The staff are friendly, facility is clean, they accept all forms of payment.
I stopped by chance since it was close to my destination and was very pleasantly surprised! The whilly steak was excellent! Large thin slices of beef with peppers, onions, cheese, and jalapenos on a great roll! Favorite part of the meal though was definitely the homemade potato salad! The green olives made it very unique but gave it an amazing flavor! 10/10 would recommend! Will definitely stop back by if Im in the area!

They have the best burgers around. Thick patty and amazing buns! Jalapeno bun is incredible! Their salads are huge and delicious. I havent tried everything they have but have loved everything that I have tried. Owners are friendly. Great laid back atmosphere!
Last time I’ll be here but felt like I should leave my honest review so I walk in on Friday to grab a couple of burger as I walked up to the cashier to give them my order and they were yelling so loud my ears were ringing but what made me most upset was the cook she acted like never made a burger before “don’t take any other double meat cheese burger (don’t the burger we’re drier then dirt )it hard to put together” or something along the lines of that horrible attitude and I payed for bacon as well and didnt even get that but it cool they can shove those couple of buck up their ass
Had the best Italian sub there today that Ive ever had. Got to choose different chips. Had lemonade to top it off. Fast, friendly service. Spotlessly clean. Cant wait to go back to try their Reuben.

The best subs you can find in Bandera! Dont go in expecting to select your ingredients like other places, just go in and pick anything from their menu and youre guaranteed to like it.My personal favorite is their Philly Cheesesteak with a side of chips and a drink.If youre visiting Bandera, be sure to stop by and get yourself a meal you wont regret.
OMG I love their food! The potato salad is not the usual mustard and potato stuff, its mayo and red potatoes and green olives and so yummy! I love their cheeseburgers and well, everything else they serve, but my personal favorite is the Ruben on Sourdough instead of Rye. So Good!
Finally got in here... Great little sandwich shop! My husband and I split the 10 Steak Sandwich since we werent extremely hungry. The steak was good, I loved the bread it was on. It had a good amount of onions and peppers. The young lady at the counter was great! Very helpful in helping us decide since it was our first time and even did a half and half on the sandwich since Im a wimp and cant handle spicy stuff. It has a great feel to the place, I look forward to going back!
Everyone in town says these sandwiches are the best. I was skeptical because I have high sandwich standards. However, they are the BEST. Im obsessed with the California. And the potato salad is the bomb.

The sandwiches were really good we enjoyed the Tijuana chicken and a Reuben both were really good! the potato salad with olives each to their own. They ran out of unsweet tea and had to wait a bit for them to make more

Shop had a good atmosphere besides the flys. Lady said the potato salad was good....it was crap. Philly sandwich was dry and cheese was on the bottom so meat fell out a lot. Overall its hard to say why this place was bad but if you go Im sure you will get it.

Holy smoke!!! This is a true sandwich place. Great food great service. The owner is very nice and personal. I highly recommend this place to eat. The cheese steak is what we had and it was the best I had ever had. They use thin cut ribeye steak. WOW!!!!!
Best Philly sandwich Ive had in a long time. The steak was soft and flavorful, perfect with the jalepeno.
The cheese burger on sourdough could not have been better and the atmosphere was comfortable to relaxing. I will be frequenting Fatboyz Sandwich Shop from now on. Usually, you get what you pay for but here, I got more for less.

Fat boys has the best salads in this town and the sandwiches are pretty great too. You have to try the jalapeno cream cheese burger if its on special when youre visiting. It is to die for.

Lived in Bandera for 18 years of my young life. Even after college and all the new places I have been nothing has beat FatBoyz! Their sandwiches are the best around and anytime Im in town I have to have one. Damn good food and friendly, small town service; you cant beat it!You have to try their Tijuana Chicken, itll knock your socks off its so good.

2021-12-23The sandwiches were great. The staff was friendly. There are so many great-sounding sandwich options on the menu. I appreciate them having sourdough option for bread. I loved seeing the locals coming in and out, bantering with the employees. I dont visit Bandera often, but l plan to return to this sandwich shop when l do.

Everything weve had has been spot on.My absolute favorite is The Betty salad its grilled chicken on a Cobb style salad and the perfect option if youre looking for something not too heavy and also a way to get those veggies in. We also love the pastrami! Heck, just do yourself a favor and try it all!!
