First Watch in other cities:
Excellent food! Very fresh tasting and great service by Selma. Prompt delivery of food to table. Menu explains each item in detail. Good size portions for reasonable price. Nice atmosphere & never rushed to order. Definitely will be going back. Great pairings for brunch. Outdoor seating is covered for rainy or hot days. Loading their app.
Attention is very bad. more for people who go looking for food to deliver to customers. the manager can never solve. The employees, in particular a Mexican, always serve very badly, they are disrespectful to everyone. the truth sucks the attention. what a disappointment. maybe if it was only attended by Americans it would be something else. nothing trained the attention provided by the Mexicans in the place
This place is unique in that all items are farm to table. The breakfast tacos were amazing and the service was outstanding as well. We arrived near closing but we were welcomed in and served well. Theres not much around this area to eat as dine in so it was a lucky find!!!
Million. Dollar. Bacon. Need I say more? Probably not, but I will. My chickichanga was delicious (but not kosher - just a FYI) and just the right level of spicy. The artisan bread was delicious, as was the made-on-site jam. The decor was farmhouse done right - a few rustic elements overlaying modern furnishings, and refreshingly free of kitsch. Priced on the higher side of average, but worth it for the quality of ingredients and execution.
This location had an industrial like style with the open concept. The seats were very comfortable. Amy, our waitress, was friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. The menu had tons of healthy options which is a big plus nowadays. Our food was delicious and our drinks were refreshing. We had a nice experience and I will add this restaurant to a list of places to visit, again😎
Fresh food. Good vibes 😎Loved the visit here. I have visited on near in Euless TX. This is my first visit here in this location. Both places one thing I like about is their caring staff. They work hard to take care of their guests. Our family really enjoyed the food. Frittata rustic-a was really good. Pancakes are amazing. They are really big too. All good are made with fresh ingredients. Everyone in the group can find something they like in The menu. So please check it out.
We loved our brunch experience here at this location. Our hostess/waitress (girl with glasses) was very friendly and knowledgeable of the food in the menu. Menu has some fine healthy options. We ordered Mexican elote street corn hash plate, barbacoa breakfast tacos plate with a side of potatoes, cheese grits and banana Foster French toast. Food was amazingly tasty. I didn’t even had to use salt or pepper or any sauce in my elote Mexican street corn plate. Banana French toast was outstanding. Was very flavorful & tasty with caramel sauce, custard, cinnamon sugar & topped with fresh cut banana slices & pecans. They used fresh & quality ingredients and served hot. The drinks were super refreshing. Place was packed with people. Especially anyone planning to go on a weekend for brunch, make sure you check in online through their page and reserve a table ahead. People were understanding of the wait time, except one lady who was very rude to the staff to some misunderstanding with her order & she threw straws at the counter and left !!! Oh well!!! But We left happy & contended. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE PLACE.
Food is good but the wait and service is absolutely awful. Operations need to be significantly improved as does culture. Two people waited for their food for an hour and a half after being seated when 5 tables were open. One family had food, the rest were waiting, with no one even checking on water the whole time and no acknowledgement of the wait. Five people in the kitchen just standing around not doing anything, with 10 people in the kitchen and three at the register. The website also said there was no wait and then on arrival we waited 30 minutes to be seated, before the 90 minute wait. Quite an embarrassing experience for the restaurant and frustrating for customers.
We were there around ten on Saturday morning and were able to get seated immediately. Service was nice and efficient. Food was a bit hit and miss to me. French toast was two slabs of bread on a plate that didnt look appealing. Other items looked much more appetizing. Overall, the group of five was pleased with their choices.Id return to try their lunch menu, but it wouldnt be my go to breakfast place.
When we got to the table, 5 minutes had gone by, before anyone ever addressed us. When we DID get the food, it was plated so nicely. The food had a great flavor. However....it was cold when the server brought it. The service was not good. We had to get the attention of other servers in order for us to get anything. The server never checked back. We needed more butter for our food, but by the time he checked back, it was already cold and therefore it didnt melt. I would try it again to see if service gets better, because everything actually had a good flavor. So with good service it could be great. Oh also, when we ordered purple haze drinks to go, we probably got 8-10oz. It was in a baby cup. First watch do better.
Absolutely love this place. Been eyeing this place since it got built and Im so glad we finally made it.The patio is dog friendly and the food was great! We ordered the million dollar Bloody Mary cocktail, Trifecta and Healthy Turkey. Beyond happy with the taste, ambience and service.09/24 update - came back and still great food and service. Ordered the Trifecta with lemon ricotta pancake this time.
Josh is awesome! I placed a DoorDash order, but I didnt want onions on my food and the app doesnt allow you to specify that. I called at 12 PM during lunch rush and requested for them not to put onions on my food and Josh made it happen for me and made me feel like a valued guest and not like a burden. The food and service here is always delicious, but Josh went above and beyond and I am very grateful for his incredible service!
We were originally told the wait would be 10 minutes! After waiting over 30 minutes with no notification to sit us we had to go in and ask. They said we were next but waiting on clean tables yet sat another table of 4 before us! They sat us in the back and no server for over 15 minutes! No silverware! No drinks! Server advised they never told him he had a table! After ordering we waited another 45 minutes for our food! The WORST experience out of ALL the restaurants I’ve been to! NEVER AGAIN!!!
New to the Coppell area from Little Elm, glad to have found a breakfast spot close to home. I had the biscuits and gravy, lemon ricotta pancakes, and one of their freshly made juices. All food was fresh and really tasty. The pancakes were very large. Will be returning!
Was told wait would be 20-30 min..after 30 min, (& seeing empty tables and others being seated) went to ask hostess how much longer to which she replied about 30-40 min more! After finally getting seated, our server (must have been new)asked for one order 3x...waited forever for Bloody Mary...others seated after us got their food while we waited....(eggs shouldnt take that long) ordered over medium...they were hard..The benedict egg was also over very done with hard yolk. We did leave 18% tip....shouldnt have left any. This location was Very poorly managed..4-5 people by registers talking...kitchen was looking very busy but must be short of wait staff as people were waiting, tables empty, but not seated.
This was my 2nd time at First Watch in Coppell and the experience was as enjoyable as the 1st. My son introduced me to this place and Im glad he did! I had the Short Rib Poutine Hash this time and it was delicious! They have a great breakfast menu with innovative, mouth-watering options, good coffee, refreshing juice blends, and superb service. Definitely recommend you try this place!
The food at First watch is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I loved the service at the place and the hostess and waiters were super friendly with the guests and always take care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.
Great little breakfast & brunch spot, ambiance is fresh and open, food is always good. Would have rated 5 stars but the service is hit or miss and sometimes the wait can be long because hostesses aren’t attentive. Otherwise an awesome choice and their app has a To-Go Order option which they’ve been very quick to prepare as well.
I went there and had a new server. He was an older gentleman, still learning i think. nice guy! i approve! the food was good. the place looked pretty well kept. The food is a bit pricy, but its a nice place to bring a date or business professional. if it was more affordable with bigger portions, i would give a 5 star. thanks for a good experience, would recommend!!
We had to wait around half an hour to get a table. I could say it was worthy. Its not the kind of food Im used to, but I really liked it. The Bowl I ordered had coconut, berries, chia, banana and almonds. On the side, toast with peanut butter. The combination was AWESOME!!!
We have been to a few First Watch locations, with great food and service. However, this mornings experience in Coppell was a bit different. After order a breakfast items without onions, I was served the dish with onions. I understand this sort of thing happens, but when I brought it to the servers attention I was assured that what was in my plate could not be an onion and the server left. I found a few more onions in my food and got ahold of the server to get this corrected. I was then notified that they do not cook this item without onions and the kitchen had simply picked through my food to remove them after, and had only partially succeeded. Thankfully they offered to let me order a different item instead. I have never had to convince staff that an onion was indeed an onion before. I understand if a dish simply will not be made without onions, but I would prefer to avoid gaslighting about the contents of my plate. Thankfully this is not an allergy, but a dislike or the situation would be far more grave.
If you value your time, you won’t come to this location anytime soon. The food is good First Watch quality, but they are so understaffed that over 1 hour wait times for food can be expected. My parents were in town, so we placed Take-Out orders on two separate days… both orders resulted in an >1 hour wait, with 45 minutes of waiting at the restaurant AFTER the designated pickup time (the food was also lukewarm at best, which was ridiculous). Poor employees were running around trying to figure things out but it’s just not worth it. Recommend avoiding until they fix their staffing and wait situation.
The service was really great! Pamela never passed by without checking up on us. Shes super sweet and helped us with all accommodations that we requested. They slightly messed up the order, but fixed it immediately. The Benedict had a slight white run, but generally speaking it was poached pretty well. The food there is consistently good. Ive been to this chain in Florida, Michigan, and Dallas, you can expect good food. They also have gluten free options. They have really unique juices, my favorite is Morning Meditation, it gives a good kick start to the morning. I definitely recommend going here.
My boyfriend and I were excited to eat at first watch but unfortunately, we didn’t leave with a good experience. We went on 10/17 and showed up around 11:30. We joined the waitlist and it said our table was ready, however we still had to wait longer. Once we were seated, our waiter took a while to take our orders and to deliver our iced coffees, which is fine; I understand how busy it can get, which it was. Time passes and it’s now 1:30 and the waiter comes to tells us that there was a “mix up in the kitchen” after us waiting for an hour. We were hoping to be offered a discount or something since we’ve been waiting for already an hour. More time passes and it’s now 2:15. The people around us have already received their food, ate, paid, and left and we were still waiting for a our food. At this time we decided to leave. We were hungry and frustrated that we had to wait over two hours for our food. That’s the longest I’ve ever had to wait at a restaurant. This is unacceptable and we should’ve been comped for our service. Or at the very least have the manager come out and say something. So yeah, not the best experience.
Great place for breakfast/lunch. My friend and I decided to have breakfast here this morning and glad we did. After putting our name on a waiting list through the website we were seated 15 minutes later. Our waitress was very polite and prompt. I ordered the Million Dollar Bacon and the Eggs Benedict and neither disappointed. The food was hot and the presentation of the plates are very nice. Oh and the coffee is great too! I absolutely loved the industrial decor and how clean it was in general. Over all it was a great experience and I have to say this will be my new go to for brunch from now on.
This was our first time here.I highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes. Best pancake Ive ever had. My fiancé had the Baconado omelet and absolutely loved it. Kerp in mind he is very crirtical about restaurant food. Staff was awesome. Byron gave excellent service. We are definitely going back.
The food was great it would be nice to have a little bit more granola and a little bit more fruit but the wait it was very long Even a lady that came in after me got her stuff before me to go All I got was Acai bowl with fruit and peanut butter and toast with the salt added well they added the salt but I can definitely say compared to the first watch in Richardson they definitely gave me a better portion than that place
We were genuinely impressed with this place. After learning it was a national chain, even more-so. Our server Amy was a standout surprise. My husband ordered the special which came with corn tortillas. He wasnt going to eat them, so put them to the side. When Amy saw that, she asked him if she could replace it with something. She offered that. Ive never had a server do that after the fact. The food was tasty. Even though its a chain, it had a locally-made flavor. Not sure how to describe it, just that it still tasted unique. So why only 4 stars? Coffee simply shouldnt be $3.00 per person. Call me cheap, fine. It just shouldnt be.Oh, and get the Million Dollar Bacon starter. Its next level.
If you’re looking for great quality food, this is your spot. My girlfriend and I have been regulars since the Coppell location opened - Amy always takes great care of us! Their juices always make me feel great! Amy always makes us feel welcome and takes the time to converse with us even when she’s busy. We are lifetime customers for sure. Highly recommended spot.
I needed a place to eat a good breakfast and work while I was in between appointments. The staff accommodated all my needs for multiple outlets and a nice corner I could post up in for a few hours. The food was delicious and the cafe is beautiful. I will definitely be back when I return to Dallas.
Beautiful, clean place, had a BLT Benedict loved loved it! Lots of greens, perfect hollandaise with just the right touch of lemon, the bacon is outrageously good, the coffee is sensational. Our server Marta was so loving and attentive, all of our needs were met. She was conscious and refreshing! Will be a very regular guest. Thanks be that they opened this location. Sweet!
First time ever eating here. Never heard of the place till a friend suggested going here. Food was great, the service was nice. I do have food regrets, I should have gotten the Million Dollar Bacon. Friend let me have some....I shouldve ordered some for myself. It was sooo good!! I definitely want to come here again!
Nice place for breakfast or lunch. Our first time was for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint! Very cute decor and very clean. It is a little loud from voices and makes it hard to talk to others or hear music. The menu is very interesting. Great selection of breakfast choices. I would say it is upscale food, Above the norm.Lemon ricotta pancakes were very tasty and the crisp bacon was perfect . The BACADO omelette was delicious! The coffee is delicious and you have your own carafe.Presentation of the food is perfect and service was awesome. We recommend and will return soon. We even bought a gift card for our friends.
Wish, I can give the most -ve reviews for this restaurant at Coppell location. After waiting for 30 min a waitress took us to a vacant table right outside the toilet despite 6 other tables were available. We refuse to take and requested a spot away for the toilet and they put us for another 20 min wait.Terrible experience and will never go again for rest of of life.Strongly recommended to stay away and throw money at these rich franchises.Ridiculously hyped up!instead go to A laid back mom and pop restaurant where customers are treated with respect.
We frequent the first watch in Flower Mound quite a bit, but are closer to this new location, so excited to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. A lot of the dishes at First Watch are unique and theyre fresh and very tasty. Service was great and we really liked the look inside. Well be back.
We went to a First Watch in Orlando Florida and absolutely enjoyed it. We thought the experience would be the same, but unfortunately we are very disappointed. Food took a very long time, when food starting coming out, they brought it out one by one and it was 10 of us so by the time the last dish came out, some of us were almost done eating. My wife’s fruit cup had some plastic in it and we told the waitress and we didn’t even get an apology from management. Overall service was unfortunately bad. Food was okay this time, most plates were a little extra salty. Would not come back to this location.
Food is ALWAYS great no matter what location. However, ordering online I waited 20 minutes after the initial time they said my food would be ready and it seemed a lot of other people waiting on to go orders had waited even longer. They should have more accurate timings on their online ordering system.
So not impressed! It was just me visiting for the first time! The staff is not friendly, my waitress did not check on me. I had to ask for every little thing like ice for the room temp glass of water she brought me. And dressing for my salad..and napkins..and a straw.. And it took along time for everything. They werent very packed. As I sat down there was a group packing up to go. When I got my food 45 minutes later that table stayed piled with dishes and stayed dirty. When I left the table was still dirty. The food was beautifully made, but served cold. The young man that took my money at the counter didn’t speak a word when I approached him and paid. He only asked if I wanted my receipt. I was so dissatisfied with the first time trying this place. I know now to stick with the toasted yolk.
This is one of my favorite breakfast establishments and so glad the Coppell location has finally opened. Food was served hot and our server Angelina was especially refreshing. Just what everyone needs at a breakfast restaurant. Great menu selection and their coffee is always fresh and hot. Get there early, seating is limited as this is the one of the most popular breakfast restaurants in the area.
This is my second trip here, and we’ve been lucky enough to have Amy as our server both times. She is a smiling ray of sunshine who goes out of her way to anticipate your needs. The food has been stellar both times as well, with a great blend of healthy and not-so-healthy choices that are all outstanding! The frittata rustica, avocado toast, and elote street corn hash have all been delicious! And the coffee is good!
Let me first say that I was soo looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time because of the menu. I order take out in Coppell & everything looked amazing until I got almot halfway through the waffle & pulled out a long grey/blonde stand of hair from the waffle. My hair is black.I call to inform the manager. I am not looking for money back or free food for another visit. I just thought that maybe there is a problem that could be avoided for the next guests (& I told him this much after he said he can give me my money back & thats all he can do).His replies to me were these things happen; all of my staff are wearing hats, theres not much more I can do; & Im not in the back to see what the kitchen staff are doing.Cant fix a problem if you dont acknowledge there is one. Im sure that there are other restaurants that would love to have a repeat client. I definitely dont feel confident in eating in a restaurant if this is a problem the manager cant even act like he cares to fix. It makes me gag just thinking about pulling a strangers hair from my mouth. Goodbye Coppell, & goodbye first watch.
Our first time at First Watch Coppell was awesome! Our server, Lynzee, was so friendly and efficient and the food was top notch. Im so glad we have a place like this in Coppell that serves healthy breakfast/brunch/lunch. Lots of options. Will definitely recommend and return.
Food great service was cool...if someone ask for sugar and cream for there coffee please bring it back right away. My coffee was cold by the time we received, not ok. Soon as my yummy food came I was okay. Get the hash yall its soo good even tho Im not suppose to eat eggs🥴
I came here for breakfast and it was so good! The staff is very friendly. Our server was great and took great care of us. The food was delicious, Id recommend trying the Superfoods Bowl and the Kale Tonic Juice. Overall great experience and will definitely be going back!
Awesome breakfast place! We went right after the massive snow storm and even with a limited menu (due to power outage a lot of food spoiled) they still had a great selection and it was GREAT! Biscuits and gravy were a hit and the coffee was strong. Definitely will return!
Finally went for breakfast, after passing by a million times coming from Dunkin. First off, the interior high ceiling design made the atmosphere more enjoyable and less claustro. The hosting was very kind and catering. Breakfast was delish and the eggs were cooked/tasted perfect! When you are parking in the back lot, watch out for the crazy Dunkin drive thru patrons who drive in and dont watch where theyre going.
The food was very good; had the elote hash, drink were tasty and served cutely as well. (cinnamon toast crunch and pomegranate sunrise) as for the service, which is not necessarily the servers fault, even understand it was prime time on a Saturday, just efficiency in getting drinks and food out was very slow. we heard them call out the order for the kitchen to prepare it way over 30 mins after ordering. i feel like even in a busy restaurant 20-25 mins for food to arrive to table should be standard, coming from the business myself, just trying to leave feedback
Waited 25 minutes and never even received our water. Two tables seated 10 minutes after received their drinks within 2 minutes of sitting and food before we left. We never received water. Manager seemed very disinterested in the complaint as well. Luckily there are many other great restaurants around. We will not be back.
I only have the choice to select 1 Star instead of 0! Will not be back for myself or as a representative of a Business in the area. Service received today was unacceptable, customer service terrible. As a new Business in the area First Watch needs to do a lot better to compete with those around. First watch lost a Business customer today and will not be ordering for corporate lunches any longer.
Overall it was good. The problem was that we checked in online, and confirmed when we arrived, but somehow it dropped off the list afterwards. The hostess noticed and let her manager know that ours along with others dropped off. We ended up waiting twice as long and people that arrived after us were seated first. When we were finally seated, the food and the waitress were great. Service was a bit slow, but I would still recommend to others based on the food and customer service.
Fresh ingredients, short wait to be seated and for food to be served, convenient prices and social distance and disinfection protocols applied. The only thing I can think that could make this place (personal opinion) excellent is if there were variety of coffee (Capuchino, Cortado, Espressos, etc.)

2022-06-02I ordered the Crab cake Benedict & my friend the Classic Benedict. The eggs were cooked all the way, which I didnt mind. Crab cake has nice little chunks of crab meat & good flavor. I enjoyed it. My friend had them bring out some more poached eggs. Then found a small hair in the eggs. They offered to take the meal off the ticket. We also ordered the Lemon Riccotta pancake to share. They brought out 2 instead of one. They are pretty huge so one was enough for both of us to try. I also had Purple Haze drink & it was delicious. Service was excellent! Our waitress was awesome. They were quite busy & I asked to sit outside on the patio as the wait was about 20 minutes for two. There was 5 tables open & it was a beautiful morning, patio sitting was perfect! Once we were ready to pay, a manager did come out & removed my friends meal & the pancakes from our bill. I know things happen when your busy so over all it was great service & the food was good!

2022-04-15This is the best breakfast place I have been to! No wonder there was a huge waiting line. Food is so good and their drinks are refreshing. We have tried pan cakes, Avacado toast and Chickichanga. Chickichanga is a must try! Purple haze was good and Kale tonic was so refreshing! Definitely going to visit again!

2021-12-03First Watch is a very chic place that offers great food with a modern style restaurant. One of the great things about First Watch is that there is the option of eating inside or enjoying your meal outside on their patio during days of nice weather. One the menu there is the option of French Toast, Waffles and Pancakes. With the Pancakes, there is the option if choosing blueberry or chocolate chip Pancakes.Additionally First Watch offers different styles of omelets and breakfast options of fruit and oatmeal. If one is not in the mood to dine in at the restaurant, they can always order online and pick up their food that way.Ordering online also give you the option of picking up your food asap or a specific time frame. If you want to try a modern breakfast or brunch place, I would recommend First Watch.

2022-06-12Our visit was wonderful, despite a rocking start with the kitchen overcooking eggs; the customer service was exceptional. Kaylee defiantly impressed with her quick instinct in problem solving and resolved quickly with a smile on her face the whole time.Check in staff members were also courteous creating a welcoming environment.Downside with Texas heat limited indoor waiting area to avoid with heat and thirst.

2021-11-05This was a delicious treat for me and my wife! The atmosphere was good and light and the food was extraordinary. We both tried a new menu item they had by the name of Short Rib Poutine Hash and it was the most delicious breakfast we have had in some time. Also had a drink named Morning Meditation and she had a new menu item drink named Red Medicine and they were so REFRESHING and uplifting. We definitely recommend this place to whomever sees one in their area.
