They were having a blue tag sale, but dont let the customer know that they have gray tags that are light blue and blue tags that are a darker shade of blue. They should at least take the trouble of putting an example of each color on their sign so you dont waste a couple hours out of your day picking items that are the wrong shade of blue
They have a good selection, but their daytime staff Is older women who think anyone younger than 45 coming in the store is just a hoodlum here to steal. Lady, if I was going to boost some stuff, its definitely not gonna be from Goodwill. Please go back to being the president of the HOA in your 65+ Seniors only neighborhood.Sincerely,The young hoodlum
Went to get costume jewelry wasn’t looking for really nice things just few things to revamp and for a photo shoot we were doing I found few items that were priced at $14.99!!! Broken and missing jewels so I thought sure they can come down a even 4.99 like everything else was priced would be okay, they asked everyone who’s a “manger” they said because it’s a pink tag no pink tag btw on the item it has to be 14.99 even tho it’s broken lol when I complain the manger was like “oh so sorry just can’t help you” I know no one here cares but like really you couldn’t mark it down 50 off like your goodwill what’s one item that’s broken that your going to throw away?
Great for the thrift shopper and for those who like to mod clothing and dont want to pay full price for retail. As is true in most stores their mens selection is nowhere as large as their womens selection. The store is well organized, clean and very convenient as it is located outside the Lake line Mall.
“Its understandable that this would be confusing, We take into account amount of wear along with many other factors when pricing our items, but first and foremost is always our mission. We sell generously donated items to fund our free charter adult high school, education and training courses, and job placement services. It sounds like the necklace was a new rather than a donated good, so we cannot discount the price. Dont forget that 89 cents for every dollar we make goes directly to those services! We apologize for the confusion, and hope this helps.“You are a thrift store?! Do not try make things better of smooth over it by using your mission to rip people off. So instead of selling thrift good bc that’s what it is. Your going to throw it away. Shame on goodwill stick to Texas thrift. Goodwill use to be a way to save money but you could go to a big retailer and get it in new and even cheaper. Brush up on customer service and do something about broken/not worth the new tag bc your goodwill no one is going to put full price hellllooooo
Its the last one I look at when Im in the Cedar Park area because the other ones are nicer and better organized but I have found some things here a couple times. I usually am just looking for kids stuff or craft supplies but I have lucked out a time or two at this location. The best time to go is Sunday or Monday since people take the garage sale failures to donate.
This afternoon 3/9/17 at around 3:00 PM my wife everything we left was ready for the sales shelf and in great condition. What happened? The items were thrown into a large cardboard bin; we could here the crash out in the parking area, including a fully functioning complete Dell desktop computer system w monitor. I hope that at least the pieces make their way to the Dell/Goodwill Recycle store as I was promised at the Cedar Park location. Wont hold my breath. This really left a bad taste in my mouth. We have taken them so much stuff lately. Very sad!
Im trying to find some stuff for my room Ive been looking since weeks and this Goodwill right here had it all. I really loved it I got me furnitures and a nice rug everything was matching, but the manager though the African man with the pretty smile and them dimples❤❤❤ Lord have mercy yes
Second-hand shop, but not just or sooner, goods that are new but are sold for sale and sold as second-hand. When a person travels and does not get a lot of clothes, you can get what you need in a hurry. There are samples. Selling a variety of souvenirs or burglaries, if you are a lover of antiques you can find something valuable. There are bags and small briefcases, backpacks so you can even strain your travel bag. Parking is free of charge.

2022-04-12This goodwill must be on the low end of the totem pole as they have very limited stock and not in the best gently-used condition. I stop by occasionally just to see if there is anything worth buying, but mostly for the employees. They are awesome! Friendly and always chatting like we were old friends. I always leave with a smile on my face, even if my hands are empty.

2022-06-21The store is well organized and clean. The racks are so overfilled with items on hangers it’s difficult to see whats on the rack. The prices are extremely high for a Good Will. Bicycles were $150 Might as well buy new at that price and they wonder why they have not sold.

2022-02-11Very disappointed in this Goodwill. Friendly staff, but thats where it stops. I used to shop here 4-5 times a week, but Im down to once a week and after this trip, Im not sure Ill ever come back.Your pricing is borderline ridiculous. Every other pair of shoes I looked at was 20 or 30 dollars and some of those were in such bad condition, they shouldnt even be on the shelf. Please dont say inflation is the reason. I shop Leander Goodwill next to Lowes every day and spend anywhere from 20 to 100 dollars daily, not an exaggeration. They may charge 20 at the very most for a really high end and good condition pair of shoes, but 95% of their shoes are less than 10.00. Shoes are just an example, but its across the board as far as merchandise. I used to spread my money around to different Goodwills, but you and a few other Goodwills are charging borderline unethical prices for calling yourselves non profit. If you are trying to price out resellers its working, but lets see how well that pans out for you over the long haul, when probably 40-50% of the people that shop at Goodwill do so with the intent of reselling. Several of my close colleagues have said the exact same thing. You really should go have a sit down with the manager at the Leander Goodwill and find out what they are doing right. I hate giving this review, because it wasnt, but about 6 months ago that this was my favorite Goodwill in the area to shop at. In fairness I will gladly update this review if I ever go back and see that your prices have gone back down to where they should be. Ross and other discount stores are less expensive than you guys are pretty much across the board. Sorry for being harsh, but you need to know.

2022-06-07Went to drop off some almost new small appliances at this location. The workers did not acknowledge anyone. They were right by the door. So I lifted the box with the items, set it on the floor, and left. They didnt even look. Hey, if you dont want donations, I think ill take them somewhere else. Im sorry to have bothered you.

2021-01-11I found exactly what I wanted! This is a pretty good thrift store. I wanted a keyboard and a remote. Both for our baby so he doesnt want ours. HahaThere are more clothes than anything else, so, if thats not your focus, maybe try another goodwill. That being said, I found se great clothes for my little guy, at better prices than some Goodwill stores where the prices were too high, really, for used clothes.
