I havent had great service at restaurants in a long time! This place made my night. Not only was the pizza amazing, but the salads are to die for! And the Shakes!!! The chocolate brownie is out of this world! Cant wait to go back! Thank you for making me and my familys night!
We have been to many places since things opened back up. Restaurants, hotels, airports….this is the first place I have had excellence in everything. The people were so friendly, service was great, music was beautiful, food was delicious and hot. The shakes…WOW!!!! Definitely a hidden jewel in alvin.
We went at lunch time to get pizza, and it was not too crowded for mid-week. The pizza was delicious, but small. I ordered the mozzarella pizza, and seasoning was spot on. Took around 10mins to get out, so not long wait time at all. You do have to hold the pizza carefully if not the toppings will fall off since fresh out the oven, and kind of thin. Unfortunately they do not accept cash as payment. So these are the reasons I gave 4stars, but pizza was yummy.
First time visiting and not at all impressed. We sat inside the restaurant which was so noisy we couldnt hear the waitress talk. It took 20 minutes before waitress came around to ask what we wanted for drinks. For such a pricey place I was surprised when the drinks came back in cans and a little cup of ice. We ordered our pizzas and only had to wait about ten minutes for them to come out. The pizzas are on the small size for being 13.00 a piece. Almost half of it was just crust with the a few toppings in the center. The crust was so thin and flimsy under the topping it all just fell apart if you tried to pick it up. The toppings themselves did have a good flavor just not much of them. We ordered shakes while eating and hat to wait almost an hour for them after being told it would be 30 Minutes. The shakes were 12.00 a piece and came out in the same cups they use for the ice. The brownie on top was so cold and hard it was extremely hard to bite into. The shake itself was the consistency of water with a whole lot of whip cream on top. Definitely not worth 12.00. Well over priced for the quality food you get.
This was the best pizza ever and such a cute place! I have never had better pizza and my friend’s boyfriend is from a place known for their pizza and also loved it (Queens). I didn’t try the shakes but hear their huge and come out with sparklers. How cool? Take your family. It is my new favorite place!
Very expensive for nothing special. The menu is very intriguing but the actual product is lacking. The pizzas are small and the crust is tough. The topping were actually very good but hardly enough. The 15$ shake we ordered that came in a small plastic Dixie cup kind of speaks for itself. Go next door to the Gorden Street Tavern. You would enjoy that more.
Great service and food. Pizzas are small for $15 though. Family friendly but for 2 pizzas 1 shake and wings was $70 wouldnt bring a family unless you want to spend $100+ for pizza and shakes. Soft drinks where in cans Id pass and just get tea or water because that is unlimited. No napkins I was surprised for messy food like pizza and shakes they didnt give you napkins off hand had to ask for them. But overall good food in a little amount for a big price.
Great pizza and friendly staff. My only eh is that the dining area inside the main entry is loud. Less than half the tables were seated when we were in mid-afternoon, but it sounded like the room was packed. Nature of the building, Im sure, just something to be aware of if you bring someone with sensory issues.
Great service and atmosphere. Tasty pizza with quality ingredients. All of the pizzas we tried were good but very different from one another so it just depends on personal preference and what someone is in the mood to eat. The Margherita was fresh and light while the meat wagon and supreme were heavier. The spinach dip is the best I’ve ever had. The brownie shake was just ok IMO. It looked awesome though.
What a great find! The pizza was awesome, as was the hospitality. They were incredibly busy and a bit short staffed, but the owner, VJ, took the time to sit and chat with us and apologize for the delay. Patrick was a great waiter and very attentive. I just love the vibe and the overall decor. Cant say enough good things about this place!
Ordered 2 pizzas to go and both were a flop. One was burnt with a black crust. We had to go all the way back to the restaurant and show it to them and have them redo it. The other one was sparse, very little sauce and very little meat. I wish so much I could give a good review because I love Alvin and want to support local business. I would like to know why the cook allowed a burnt pizza to go out? Did they not see it all black and all?
Pros: Spinach appetizer was in the top 3 Ive ever had. The pizza combinations were unique with fresh ingredients and the strawberry shake was fun, I appreciated the detail of the frosting around the base of the cup!Cons: Our waitress I think was new or maybe flustered? so she was a bit slow but she was nice and we were patient with her. Because she took so long to greet us, we were ready to order everything at once. Our drinks took awhile still, (water and tea), our app came out timely and bubbling, (spinach dip was SO good, get it!!) our pizza came out shortly after, with skimpy toppings, but it was not warm anymore so I can deduce that it was ready at the same time as our appetizer and therefore sat in the back cooling down waiting until there was room on our table. The other thing I didnt like was that I asked if we could split 1 regular (not premium) shake into 2 cups for my kids, but she said it wasnt possible. Id really love an option of doing that or having a size for kids only because an adult shake is just way too much sugar for my kids. The last thing I wasnt fond of was how there wasnt a receipt given to us at the end where we could see our charges before we paid.Overall the atmosphere was sweet, the food was good, and the service, while friendly, will probably vary depending on your server. We are foodies with alot of restaurants on our list to try, this is 45 minutes away from us and it didnt wow us enough to add to our list of favorites. We will most likely not be back.
Top notch, family loving service in an atmosphere of beauty and blessings. Excellent pizza, salads, shakes and more. Always love the 80s sound track as a bonus. The covered patio is so homey and peaceful. We really enjoyed the great live band last weekend too. Great place for families groups and celebrations... & take out too!
Staff are super friendly, and very attentive. The pizza crusts are great and the spinach dip was amazing. Their wings are something else, they are worth ever penny and the flavor is to die for. Their shakes are great and worth sharing (if you are so inclined) 😄 My daughter has already dicided that her birth day will be there and she plans on getting a birthday shake.Update: The staff was super accommodating we had a party of 15 and they did not miss a beat. The food was great and we were all very happy. I would highly recommend this spot.
I made my own pizza. They have regular dough and cauliflower. I had the regular. So many choices to put on my pizza. Fresh vegetables.. Delicious. My date chose something on the menu. Both pizzas came with 6 slices. I knew we would have another meal out of this. We also ordered the shakes. Mine was the birthday cake and his, the strawberry cake. They were huge. Mine had a cookie with icing inside on top of the cup. It had a lot of whip cream on top. I removed the cookie to find my cup filled with ice cream. My date had two small strawberry cakes in his shake. Definitely tasted of strawberry, fresh strawberries. Mind you the shakes were fantastic, but a bit too much after wonderful pizza. The price tag was more than I expected. But if I consider 2 meals, it was still pricey. I would go back again. The pizza was wonderful.
This pizza slaps! I got the Supreme Grace pizza and was amazed by the fresh ingredients. All the pizzas come medium sized about 11. The price may seem a little steep, but totally worth it. Handmade, mishapen stone fired crust is *Chefs Kiss. Thats how you know its legit. I only did a pick up order, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this place is the parking situation, but what can you do? 🤷♂️
What a great find! I loved everything about this place. I wanted to play some Cornhole, but my belly was too swole from the delicious pizza! There were dogs on the patio-always a plus. I also wanted to try one of the amazing looking shakes, but again, swole belly. Looking forward to next time!
If I could give this place less than a one star, I would. I placed an online order, (after calling several times with no answer). I picked up three pizzas and an order of wings, which were ready when I arrived. The pizzas were small, with few toppings and the wings were RAW. Blood was literally dripping from the wings and completely inedible. I placed them in the oven to finish cooking, and despite the price I paid for them, tasteless and bland. I called the business several times and left messages with no response, and its been 5 days since I picked up my order. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. Never eating here again.
Pizza is small and expensive but taste is there. Can sodas only, LEMONADE is horrible.Got the strawberry cake shake which wasn’t bad but also $13 way overpriced.Staff was nice and fast and the outdoor seating could use a TV for Sunday football or Astros games. Overall I wouldn’t come back but I would recommend you to at least try it if your in the area and make your own opinion
So disappointed...I have heard nothing but hype about this place and shakes so finally dragged my husband out. Got there and waiting 20 minutes to be seated and was told it would be 45 minutes to get pizza after ordering, I guess decision to stay was not the best judgement. The supreme pizza looked naked, very little meat, the center of the pizza was barely cooked. Then, the whole reason to hang out for 2 hours waiting for dinner starving is the shakes, had to try. They make a great presentation, but then you go to eat the shake and its totally different then whats described on the menu. It was a plain ice milk with very little flavor at best. When a shake says it has cookie crumble in the shake it should have cookie in the shake, and a cinnamon Carmel shake says crumbles of churro and caramel it should have churro and caramel in the shake.... NOPE! Worse, the waitress delivers the shake and says we ran out of caramel, not even Im sorry or ask if we wanted something different. Im most upset that when we said something it was just passed over like OH WELL. The only positive is that the food was still editable at best and the jalapeño ranch could be bottled. I dont understand the rave reviews I have recently read and wondering if I am being punked.
Nice place and very nice staff. We didnt care for the pizza. The all the toppings just slid off my daughters pepperoni and the shakes were fine but $12-15 plus tax and 20% tip for what is probably a 16 oz shake with candy, cookies and or cake on it, and a decorated plastic cup was way too much for us. Shake at Hey Mickeys in Galveston was on $7.50. As much as we would like to promote an Alvin restaurant we can not. God bless whoever loves this place.
Tried this place for the first time. We LOVED it. Went for a girls night and we were amazed. They were pretty busy on a Saturday night, and we had to wait a little while for our food, but 3 people including one of the owners let us know the kitchen was a little backed up but they still wanted to make sure we had the best time ever. We got 3 different pizzas and we loved them all. The spinach dip pizza was DELICIOUS and so was the margherita! OMG the shakes are in a world of their own. They brought out this birthday cake shake. And sang happy birthday to my aunt for her birthday. All in all a terrific experience.
Just WOW! Hands down, the BEST pizza Ive had in a long time! Not just the pizza, the spinach dip was amazing and the shakes...Good Lawd simply delicious! The atmosphere was so cool and sitting outside with the breeze and music, topped it off! Our waiter, Lucas, was top notch! Highly recommend and we will be back!! What a little gem youve got!! So yummy!
Nice new casual pizza and milkshake spot. The decor theme and all are very cute the pizzas we had 2 of them were very good. You can taste and smell the wood fired oven, the toppings were a little sparse when compared to the description on the menu. Would definitely go again and will be taking the nice and nephew. PROTIP: Make a reservation
We wanted to see what this new restaurant was like and we were very impressed with the atmosphere, the politeness of all the staff and especially the food. Their pizzas are the best!!! Hands down!!Kudos to Patrick who was very polite and energetic doing his work. You can even choose to sit inside or at their outdoor large dining patio. I understand they have live music on Sundays also. They have a great choice of items to create your own or you can even order some already prepared with sides. We didnt try their famous desserts but word has it they are delicious!! Definitely recommend Grace for delicious pizza!!
I love the atmosphere here! I don’t think I’ve ever had a salad as fresh as the salads here. All of the ingredients are from local farms, and makes me feel like I’m supporting our farmers. The pizzas are amazing and the shakes are huge! Great place to take your family.
The best pizza we have ever had. I asked for a recommendation and I am glad I did. I got the Garcia and added the butter dipping sauce for my crust. WOW, it still taste fantastic the next morning. We then got the birthday shake. What an experience, they light a sparkler on top! We ate every last bite and my 14 year old wants to go back today. The service was fantastic and the food came to the table quickly. Make sure to make a reservation, even at 8pm there was a little wait, but well worth it!!!!
The pizza and the shakes were really good. However, their service needs work. Simple things t like keeping your glasses filled and removing used dishes or having a spoon when delivering the shake. I will definitely be back for more pizza and another shake, but its the little things that will either make this place great or keep it a 3-star venue.
For the price, we werent impressed. The pizza was just okay...the crust was the best part. The strawberry shake was just okay...definitely not worth $13. The cake had an odd, unappealing taste, and it wasnt good AT ALL.I mean this in the kindest way possible...just because you spend a lot of money for the food there does not necessarily mean it is good. Sadly, we didnt get the hype.
From the moment we walked in to Grace we were greeted and smiled at from everyone on staff. We were told there was a 30 minute wait but we were at our table in no more than 20 minutes. We had a young lady as our waitress and she was super friendly and knew all the questions about the menu. My wife had a Margherita pizza, and I opted for the “Meat Wagon” the pizza was PHENOMENAL. one of the owners even came to our table and talked to us for a good while. He talked to a lot of other tables and really seemed to care about everyone in the restaurant including the kids working there. For dessert we split the strawberry cake shake and thought the mini donut cakes were awesome. We will definitely be back. Good job!!!
We went to Graces Pizza today and it was amazing. I ordered the Margarita pizza and it was the best I have ever had. Hubby ordered the pizza with all the meat and he loved it. Fresh ingredients!!! Yummy. We will be back. The salads and shakes looked amazing. Wait staff was friendly and attentive!
10/10, excellent place to go. Finally some good dinner in Alvin!! Pizza had a seasoning that was particularly flavorful right between the cheese and the crust. Alissa was our server and was prompt and attentive. Tina the host was very friendly and welcoming. She was really helpful over the phone. We ordered the brownie shake and it was delicious -- the brownie was a more dark chocolate brownie which went really good with the shake. My wife said the brownie was the perfect brownie, because it tasted like a dark chocolate brownie but wasnt bitter. My boys had the shake with the double doozie cookie on top. The shake was good -- cookie was too sweet and they didnt eat it but the shakes are so huge they had plenty anyway!I love that they offer turkey as a topping on pizzas. All around an excellent experience. We will be regulars.
We highly recommend Grace Pizza & Wings. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Everyone was so attentive and friendly.Grace is owned and operated by two very prominent members of the community who never miss an opportunity to give back and show their support for those in need. Thank you VJ and Adrian for taking such great care of us during our visit! We will definitely be back.
The food was amazing!! It is definitely worth the hype. The milkshakes are so big and delicious. They can be shared among people. We had a group of four, got two milkshakes and didnt finish them. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is if we didnt have a reservation the wait would have been 2 hours. The parking lot is pretty small and tight. Id recommend parking on the street if possible.
This place is just what Alvin needed! Amazing pizza - with a yummy kick - and tasty salads. 😋 I havent tried the milkshakes yet, but Im going to try them out next time for sure. Someone got the birthday milkshake and what a show! Very cool place and will continue coming here! (PS I took my leftovers to my husband who isnt big on pizza and after he ate it - he asked where the heck the pizza was from because it was delicious.) If youre thinking about trying this place out, just go.
We visited for Mother’s Day and when we first sat down the server brought my wife a rose to celebrate. It was pretty busy, but the food was served very quickly. The pizza was delicious, Kiley, our server, was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back to Grace, it was an awesome experience.
Pizza was just okay. Nothing special. Tried their special pizza. Had way too much red pepper flakes. Crust was overdone, slightly burned in spots. Prices very high for the product you get. Was about twenty dollars for small pizza. Service was adequate but nothing outstanding. Would not recommend this place for a return visit.
We are not able to rate the food or prices. We chose not to be put on a waiting list to eat outside. They said they were backed up. We had just gotten up from an empty table, outside, to go inside to be seated by a hostess. So we walked over to Gordon Street Tavern and we were seated immediately, drinks right away, and we also ordered with the first 5 minutes.
Have been there 3 times to be turned away in the parking lot..or at the front door. Was told were out of pizza. What kinda pizza place runs out of pizza? You still have wings, salad, other editables Im sure we could order. After reading the negative/real reviews Im glad we didnt eat there. 3 strikes and your out.
I would not recommend this place at all. It was all downhill upon arrival. When we walked in, one of the managers greeted us and the first thing he said was “Oh we actually have a table.” So we get seated and waited for about 10 minutes before our waitress came over to greet us and get drink orders. We ordered the the coal fired wings, which is under the starters section of the menu, and we both ordered the create your own pizza. The wings were supposed to be an appetizer. The pizza came first. Our pizza orders were similar. On the menu “crumbled bacon” is listed as a topping. This was actually slices of bacon cut up with a weird taste. The menu has “jalapeños” as an option. Shame on me for not asking if they were pickled or fresh. Most pizza joints serve pickled jalapeños on their pizza OR specify by stating “pickled” or “fresh” on their menu. The pizza was not great, but it can be tolerated. I ask the waitress to cancel the wing order, because we ordered them as a “starter” as listed on the menu. So the wings come anyway. They were “whole chicken wings” with some sort of green garnish and caramelized onions poured all over them. I decided to taste, and these wings were absolutely disgusting. They were bland and were burned in various sections of the wings. The customer service was awful. The brownie milkshake was pretty descent. We left this place feeling like it was a waste of time, money, and gas.
We went here today for the first time and we loved it! We found this place searching online as we are always interested in trying new places and wanted to try the milkshakes. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly which I liked and we ordered wings as the appetizer and the R-C Ranch Meat Wagon pizza and it was amazing! Everything we ordered was so hot and fresh and enjoyed every bite! My fiance ordered the lemonade and you can tell it was freshly squeezed! One of the other highlights of our visit was that we met one on the owners who is from our neck of the woods (Baton Rouge), a LSU grad (Geaux Tigers!) and he was so personable and made us feel welcome! We didnt get a chance to order the shakes because we had no more room in our bellies to try them but by looking at some of the other patrons orders I already know Ill be back to try them! Another great thing...this restaurant gets its ingredients from locals businesses in the community which is a huge plus!Overall, great experience and we will be returning!
Came on opening day for lunch and it was such a great experience! The Spicy Hawaiian pizza was delish, and can tell they used fresh ingredients which is always a game changer to ya taste buds 🤤 Hubby got the RC Ranch Meat Wagon Pizza - and loved it!! This time we shared Kane’s Cookie shake for dessert...no regrets here. We can’t wait to come back and try the other items on the menu.
The food was amazing. We got pizza and shakes. If you plan on going, dont expect a quiet meal. Its a small space with lots of people, so it gets loud. Only negative was we tried to make a reservation but they dont allow you to do same day. But they said to call an hour before to get on a wait list. So we did. Then they said call back in 30 minutes. So we did. They said Just come right in. Theres no wait. We got there in ten minutes and they asked if we had a reservation, if not it would be a 30 min wait. I know we werent the only ones either. A lady came in after we were seated and I heard her tell the hostess, But I just called. Worth it for the food, but it was a tad bit frustrating.
Sooo... staff is amazing everyone seems to love the job, know the menu, and are quick. Pizza is okay. I know all the ingredients you use are quality and thats a amazing but the dough is plain and that what pizza is mostly. If you want amazing pizza you have to change the dough. All the toppings are quality and top notch. I personally dont need wagyu beef on my pizza but I know there are some that enjoy that kind of thing. Your milkshakes are amazing it is the single most reason why I would come back. High five dont change anything. I also enjoy the wings even though they are not the traditional wings that you would eat with a pizza. I see the fresh rosemary, garlic and onions use to cook them. That by itself needs to be a flavor of wings when you sprinkle hot sauce are BBQ sauce it takes away from those roast wings. Then for the flavored wings I would just deep fry them. People with me believed they were undercooked I thought they were delicious, just didnt need the BBQ Sauce.I think you guys are doing an amazing job and chalk some of these things to being a new restaurant. Hope to visit again.
Was excited to come and try but sadly my pizza was really greasy and almost undercooked. I picked up a slice and everything slid right off. It was bland and didn’t taste much like anything. Also ordered wings and only came with 3 wings for $13!! 🤦🏽♀️ Very overpriced….
Food was good. The kids liked the shake. Couldn’t accommodate a simple order of half no sauce on a pizza. I was told they might be able to do it. Found out that it wasn’t even put on the ticket. I don’t mind paying for good quality. You are really paying for the experience here. I had high expectations coming here. Give it a try
I could go on but, the long and short is I paid $15 dollars for a melted shake and a cookie with garlic on it. My wife threw up on the way home. People say ….take it easy because of COVID they’re short staffed. My money is still the same before COVID happened. If restaurants can’t accommodate any expectations…… they need to close shop. In my opinion more and more restaurants will use COVID as an excuse. This place was over staffed……
I dont comprehend what Im reading here. We ordered a pizza to go. When we picked it up we recieved our wad of dough and grease wrapped in tin foil which allowed it to get grease all over the car. The pizza was the absolute worst tasting most over priced in town. Bring on a microwave pie any day over this place

2022-02-15Second visit to validate- this visit wasn’t quite as long as the first, but do not come here if you need to eat quickly and go. You’ll miss out and get frustrated. First trip was a two hour dinner (didn’t even get pizza until 1:06 after seating). The pizza is good. Crust is perfect temp. The toppings ratio may need a little work, but I’m quite particular of this. The shake was inhaled by the kids. They got a strawberry one with a wedge of red velvet cake on top. We will visit again, and if we can get our overall time in the restaurant down a bit, I’ll add that fifth star. The supreme was good. One of the meats had such a flavorful smoke to it. I think it was the sliced meat. Made my mouth water for the next bite.

2022-06-30Forgot to snap a pic of the spinach artichoke dip hands down the best Ive ever hand. The flat bread with the fresh basil was superb. The pizza was next level perfectly baked. We will be coming back great service from Blake as well and the way the other team members where helping out other tables was nice to see. Getting drinks and refills for our tables as well when things got busy. Fun and inviting atmosphere with a cool patio that is nice and breezy. Will be returning soon.

2022-05-12Went at lunchtime, during a school holiday. I dont think they anticipated the amount of people eating but only had 2 waitstaff handling the entire floor, so service was slower then youd think. The pizza was good, as was the spinach dip. We added the bacon on to the dip, but I think it was better without it. This is definitely not a fast lunch, but it was good. Will go back and try the milkshakes. Hopefully there will be more staff on hand. 🤞Also had a man using the womens restroom and didnt lock the door. Slightly soured my mothers experience unfortunately as she walked in on him.

2021-11-06Looking for a great lunch spot in Alvin? I found one for you. Great food, friendly service and shakes to die for. My wife and I do lunch there… Pizzas are hot and fresh, the spinach dip is phenomenal. Last but not least the tiramisu shake and my wife had the shortcake. 5 out of 5 mustaches.

2021-08-10Grace Pizza & Shakes is a MUST visit! We were actually staying in Galveston, and saw that Hey Mikey’s shared Grace’s shakes as they provide the ice cream, and we decided we needed to make the 45 minute drive to Alvin as we are ice cream enthusiasts. We went on a Sunday evening, and it was definitely busy, but they have tons of seating options, and the wait time was standard for a popular restaurant. All of the employees were friendly, and went the extra mile to be helpful. The food quality was out of this world! The pizza ingredients all tasted super fresh and the pizza sauce was the best I’ve ever had. After commenting this to our server he said every ingredient is local, and the sauce is homemade! The shakes were super flavorful and thick (no one likes a runny milkshake!), and their flavor combos were top notch. The owner actually came out to say hello and chat with us. We were truly impressed that the owner of a restaurant was there working at closing on a Sunday evening!Out of every place we visited in Texas, Grace was our absolute favorite! I wish we had one back home! (Let us know if you decide to franchise!)

2022-04-16Supreme Grace pizza was delicious and flavorful. Wagyu meatballs on the RC Ranch Meat Wagon were great as well. For an appetizer, I’d suggest the Spinach Dip. And for dessert, go ahead and order the Cinnamon Caramel Crunch. Take a picture of it before you devour it. It’s pretty.

2021-09-21My family came here this past weekend and had the creamy Marinara chicken pizza, cheese pizza for the kiddo, and the cookie shake. Everything was so amazing! The staff was quick and friendly and the food was the best pizza we have had in a long time. Definitely our new fave food spot in town! Definitely make sure you save room for dessert!

2022-05-06Cant say enough great things about this place! We popped in with, what started as, 20-25 teens (and ended up closer to 40!) for an after-school birthday suprise for my kiddo. They looked a little worried at first, but came through with an amazing server who handled the chaos with ease. The atmosphere is wonderful on the patio, the park is visible for kids to play while they wait and it is great for groups. We will be back as often as possible!

2021-05-20SO GOOD! We ordered the spinach dip, meat pizza, pepperoni pizza, and spicy Hawaiian pizza...all were amazing! The fresh squeezed lemonade was good as well, and the Kane’s cookie shake was a great way to end our meal. All the ingredients are from local farms and the meat is from a local ranch, and I feel like you can tell. Everything was fresh. Service was good for being so busy, and the manager stopped by to ask how our meal was. Overall, great experience, will be back soon!
