Delicious and beautiful cake! Super fast service. I was shocked that the fondant was even scrumptious as any I had in the past was hard and tasted terrible which somewhat ruined the cake as they would put thick layers while Gracious bakery’s was soft and thin. The whipped buttercream was a perfect combination of rich, thick, and airy. So wonderful supporting a local black-owned business for my graduation. Had a great experience throughout the process as well. They even put the umlauts on my name which shows just how they go above and beyond to provide a wonderful product. I had a coconut and fresh strawberry with vanilla cake and their signature whipped Italian meringue buttercream icing.
I contacted them via email on a rush order for a Wonder Woman cake for my daughters birthday. They responded within an hour and not only were they able to meet the deadline, but the cake was stunning. My daughter was blown away and everyone wanted to know where it came from because it was so delicious. This will become my go to bakery for every occasion now. Absolutely wonderful experience!

On Sunday, all cake stores were closed except this one,I went ahead and ordered a cake for my daughters birthday, Sailor Moon theme.. showed them the picture and that is exactly what I got 💓💓 Amazing!!!!
I loved this place . Purchased a cake for my baby shower and it was a huge hit. The price was great and the cake was moist, not to mention the buttercream was spot on. The whole process was easy I will definitely be ordering from here again .
Walked into the shop it smelled heavily of cigarettes, Cake looked like a child decorated it, I asked for a high heeled shoe and was told it would be red, it was purple. The shoe was deformed and the heel was crooked, I explained to Grace that the cake wasn’t up to par and that we’d need a refund or a discount, she became very belligerent and started raising her voice. The cake decorations looked NOTHING like the work she has posted, the glitter was spotty and the icing was completely unacceptable, she agreed to fix the cake and I watched as she was fixing it, once finished she came out with the finished product and asked if I still wanted 2 of the 3 sculptures that were originally on it and I told her yes. Then she says “I can’t put it on the cake because it’s melting” and I asked if she’d put it in the freezer as she was fixing the cake and she hesitated and said yes, that was a lie. She genuinely thought this cake was acceptable, I paid almost $200 for a cake that my infant could’ve made. She wouldn’t at least give an acceptable discount, only for the 2 fondant sculptures that were taken off. She was extremely rude, threatened to call the police if I didn’t sign the paper and then proceeded to ask for my ID. and when I asked her why she had no response, I don’t recommend buying ANY cake from Gracious Baking, 10/10 the WORST service I’ve ever had, pictures will be inserted of the before and after, all in all I paid $145 for a 2 tier cake with purple glitter and red icing with a Book on top. Then she says that it’s MY fault that the cake came out how it did originally.
Grace E. cancelled my event order a few hours before I was supposed to pick up. I contacted Gracious Baking with a custom cupcake order request with a 2 day rush because of an event. Grace E. agreed to the order and timeline and sent me an electronic invoice that I paid immediately. I asked if I could submit an updated logo file the morning of pick up, and pickup later in the day and she said Yes you can and then said It will be cutting it too close because she wanted me to pick up at 12noon rather than the evening. So I asked if it would be possible to get it to her by midnight the evening before, and she said that would be great. I sent a zip folder with jpeg and png options by 10pm so well before the deadline. She then says she cant open the folder and might have to cancel my order. By 9am I emailed her back with the images attached separately rather than as a zip (not being able open a zip folder when you offer a custom photo-based service is another matter). But Grace sent me an email saying that due to time constraints and my inability to clearly express what I want, my order has been cancelled and refunded. I immediately wrote her back and asked if I could pick up later or if something could be done, and she emailed back a two word reply: Good luck. Not only did she let me down the day before my event on the day of pick up, she was nasty about it. Icing on the (cup)cake - I still have not been refunded.
I just wanted to reach out and say thank you. The cake was absolutely beautiful! The taste and buttercream was even better. It was beyond perfection and a taste like no other. You have made a permanent customer and I have also spread the word about your wonderful work. You guys made my nephews birthday very special and I wanted to say thanks again!
Gracious Baking was our wedding cake and groom cookies provider and she was OUTSTANDING. Her professionalism in communication, her pricing and flavor selections were top notch, AND THE TASTE: to die for, everyone loved it. So many people told me that they were SO impressed by the buttercream frosting and the cake managed to be perfectly moist and delicious but the frosting wasn’t that headache-inducing overly sweet cake frosting... that buttercream yall it was sweet without overpowering and it was so light and fluffy... there are also MOUSSE filling options (how amazing is that) for a small per tier fee. The prices beat out everyone I asked, wedding delivery is free, AND the service and cake were phenomenal. If you are searching for a cake with flavor and style hire Gracious Baking for your next event!!
Location is 100% legit! So is the business❤. We ordered 2 cakes from them and just picked up our cakes from the skillman location with ease.We love Gracie, she is super polite and does amazing work.We will definitely order again.

We ordered a cake for a gender reveal party, the cake looked exactly like the picture we sent her, she is very kind and as the name implies gracious!! The cake had an excellent flavor, my whole family loved it. The price was perfect.

I wanted to love it cause the woman was so sweet. I had my MIL pick it up for me. She was very sketched out by the location. When she got it home I was so disappointed. The lettering on the cake was made of block stickers and they were not put on straight or even. I guess its my bad for assuming she was going to do some beautiful calligraphy. The buttercream icing tasted like it was made of just butter. And the inside of the cake was just terrible. Bland with a hint of cardboard taste. I had asked for a white with swirls of pink and blue to signify a baby. But there was so much color in there most of it was purple. 0 out of 10 adults enjoyed the cake at my party. 45 dollars is extremely over priced.
Im pretty sure this place has the best chocolate covered strawberries Ive ever had! You can tell they are made fresh and the chocolate is soft so it doesnt break apart when you bite into it. Lord help me that they are on uber eats ... I know for sure Im going to gain 400 lbs eating these all the time!!

2022-06-19Was driving home on a Sunday afternoon, craving a sweet treat and googled bakeries near me, which is how I found this place. Stopped in and picked up a few cupcakes as I sometimes crave wedding cake. While the red velvet and chocolate cupcakes were good, the white cake did not disappoint. It tasted very clean and fresh and was exactly what I was craving. Wished I would have gotten a few more. Grace was kind and helpful and everything was reasonably priced. Glad I stopped by!

2022-05-27HORRIBLE!!! I will NEVER come here again. I purchased cake pops for my child graduation and it only took 30 minutes to get home in a car with AC and they melted! She said they would be ready by 2:30 but werent until 3:15. I believe they werent properly set and cooled before leaving the store but Gracie claims oh its because of the Texas sun. She was not sympathetic at all just blamed me for not asking how to transport them. She should be ashamed for not caring about this disaster. I am hurt and my child is crying.

2021-12-05I ordered a cake from here but was better off going to walmart! This 50$ cake had literal paper on the top that you could rip like card board she didnt bother to decorate it Nd scribbled the writing on the top.the cake was dense and seemed like it was a store bought cake that she sinply assembled.i call her and politely told her i was displeased.she then became real disrespectful and told me she didnt want to talk to me because it was my husband who orderd the cake.i put him on the phone as she continued to tell him it was his fault because he orderd a photo cake and we shouldve known to take the image off before eating it and we got what we paid for..i am trying to support my community but if this is the customer service i will receive than my money will happily go else where. I even offerd to send her a video of the poorly made and bad tasting cake.she didnt want to see it my husband asked for a refund and she refused but offered a discount on a future order. Thats unexceptable because i never plan on doing buisness with her again . He drove over an hour to support this company and even when there where bakerys right up the street from our home. This was a disappointing experien e to say the least

2022-04-28Cakes are good but customer service is really really bad. I placed an order for cup cakes and the lady over the phone asked me to send half amount to confirm the order. My bank took some time to send that amount to bakery. I even shared the screenshot of pending transaction from my end. But, she cancelled my order due to processing payment and she took the other order which came right at that moment. I simply asked her to refund the amount when she received it. She responded very harshly for that message and I called her after one week to remind her to send the refund. Seems like they blocked my number. I called them using other number and she is not even patient while talking to me.Never going to order at this place anymore. Not recommended if you want best customer experience❌!!!
