UPDATE: Grand Slam Car Wash contacted me and made it right. I was given a re-do and am very satisfied with the job. Luis is the young man who cleaned the inside of my car and he worked hard. I tipped him nicely. Thank you Grand Slam for fixing this issue. I will be returning.-----------------------------------Went for a complete wash & vacuum/clean of the interior. The outside looked good but the inside was a COMPLETE disappointment. I would have gone back but had to be at an appointment so couldnt. I mean - the lady didnt even TOUCH my dashboard.
Went today (11/11/21) to get an oil change (+wash+inspection). Dropped truck off and within minutes, guy comes in and tells me that I still had 2000 miles remaining and oil looks clean - no real need for an oil change. It was then I realized I hadnt been putting many miles on since I am still work from home. Told him about that and he said he just didnt want me to think he was ripping me off and taking my money. He could have easily just changed it (or not) and charged me, and I would have never known the difference. Very impressed with the honesty - they will continue to get my business.
This is my truck coming out of the car wash broken mirror and a dent in my door. They where going to cut it off so I could drive home I told them to tape it on for now . It took a week for them to review the video and i had a representative call for me asking for the insurance or their lawyers info. They put it off and wouldnt call my rep back but fixed it eventually after a month 1100$ and finally fixed now I can do my review.They try not to fix anything play hardball they are responsible......
I will not be coming here anymore. Inside and outside detail that costs $180 when the price list shows $140 but because I had an Small SUV. Then it’s taking 3+ hours to clean when I dropped it off and still now there wasn’t even a lot of cars to clean. Other cars had 2-3 people cleaning it and mine only had 1. The cleaners all acted like I they didn’t speak any English but when I asked why is it taking so long to clean a car the other lady waved her hand off at me and continued to ignore me. I used to take my car here all the time and I never used to be like this. I will NEVER EVER come back here again. Tons of other places that will be a better and faster job and not put your personal belongings on the ground like that too.
I really like this place. For one the Christian music they play over the speakers...its welcoming in these coruptive days. They also do a really nice job on my truck. Ive been to every car wash in the greater Clear Lake Area and Grand Slam is the one to support and go to.
I took my (new to me) car to Grand Slam on Walker yesterday for state inspection and emissions. First off, I love the theme, and their prices arent too bad. However, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The cashier inside was friendly, however, the guy that did my inspection walked up to my car with his phone in hand and I could hear someone on the other end talking. I thought, hmmm. Okay. Fast forward to the car being done. I get in (handed my keys by the friendly cashier), and my headlights are left on. I get to my next destination and discover that my hood wasnt closed all the way. Was going to go back to get my car washed there, but now I dont think I will. Thank yall who recommended them, Im glad you have had good service there, but I will not be giving them any of my money in the future.
I have never posted a bad review before about any place, but I am now sick of this place. I have been coming here for 6 years and I no longer trust them with my vehicle. Since new management, staff has been rude, my oil cap was not replaced. I had to buy a new one. I paid a 125 dollars for the oil change and engine clean and got the free car wash. Before new management my car wouldCome back clean. The inside of my car was not wiped down and I did not realize it it until the next day. Management told me it would cost 5 extra dollars. Now I just paid 125 so why wouldnt I pay 5 extra dollars to get the inside wiped down? I would. The attendant relayed to me that my car would get cleaned with. That did not happen. Six years of consistent oil changes and service, and now because of new management I will not touch this place again. Phillip, where are you? You always treated me so nicely. That new lady is absolutely rude.
That is one of the fastest in the best car washes youre ever going to find. Definitely a five-star service very very quick hard-working people hard-working!! man and women its really something hands down they beat the car wash on Scarsdale all the pieces its worth the trip down here!
Great value for money. The staff are friendly and the premises are spotless. I vacuumed my car and then proceeded to the drive-thru car wash and was pleased with the whole experience, especially with the hand drying of the tiny droplets that the air dryers did not catch.
First time..it was just okay, but Staff were super nice. I got Interior Detail only & unfortunately had to get them to redo a bunch...re-wipe air vents, cup holders, handles, steering column, and floor mats still had dust and dirt on them... these were all very visible if someone would have done a final check. They redid everything as I pointed it out, but I dont think customers should have to point everything out.
Ill never be back. The service has gotten worse and worse. When I come and pay extra for a hand wash, I expect my truck to be clean. I spoke to the manager hes trying to make it right, but my business will go elsewhere. We have 3 vehicles if anybody knows a car wash company that pays attention to detail....
Im making this post to warn people about a local car wash here and to save people the time and energy I dealt with today. Please avoid grand slam car wash in league city. I had a horrible experience to say the least. My antenna got ripped off in their car wash and also one of my caps was missing on a tire when I left, the other caps were very loose. I spoke to a manager there which basically told me there was nothing they could do except notify me if they do find the antenna, nothing was offered to me not even a sorry or discount for a future wash, she also told me that they dont touch the caps but I call bs on that, as several of the caps were very loose on the tires. After being home for about 2 hours one of my tires was completely flat, come to find out one of the caps was pushing on the nozzle which caused all the air to come out of my tire. I spent the rest of my day cleaning my car that they so poorly washed. The interior of my car was barely wiped down and the rim job was just sad, not to mention they left a floor mat sitting on my back seat.
Stopped by for the first time today and had excellent service! I needed an exterior and interior clean, as well as an oil change. While speaking with a tech about services, I noticed they do the rock chip repairs too and would go through my insurance at no cost to me or my deductible so I added that to my services needed also! One stop shop! Dropped off and came to pick up a few hours later and my car was ready, and staff was very kind and helpful in showing where to check out and pick up my keys. Car looks fresh and the prices were too good to beat for everything I had done. My husband actually ended up leaving his truck for similar services
This is the spot to spoil your baby with a full out spa day! They do great work on your vehicle and the staff is super friendly. Bathrooms and lobby are clean. The only advise I will pass along is this: If you buy snacks while you wait, check those expiration/bb dates.We came across some items that had bb (best by) date of 9/2020😒 Unfortunately, my child tasted her item before we saw the date on it🤢. On a good note, the sweet girl at the register let me switch my snacks out. On a bad note, she didnt remove any of the old snacks from the shelves. Yikes!
I really liked that everyone was polite and helpful.What I didn’t like was that I paid for the most expensive car wash package they had available and my car was mostly clean but I could see where some parts were not cleaned thoroughly or had been skipped over, which was disappointing.Also the fact that neither employees or customers were wearing masks was a bit strange and off putting to me
So I’ve been to several car was facilities through out the years & Grand Slam @ Victory lakes has been the best BY FAR. They have incredible staff. My car has been top notch - five star quality EVERY SINGLE TIME! They take time to detail your car exactly to your needs! They also finish in a timely manner and the prices are great! My dad, cousin and friends now come here and we will be repeat customers for sure! Thank you Grand Slam!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!
The people detailing the cars are slow I waited 30 min for it to be ready ,after the 2 vehicles that came out of the tunnel were done before mine and they didnt even wipe down the inside or outside . I left with my dashbord and dials dirty and water marks on the front windsheild from it sitting in the sun for so long .
I dont like meeting bad reviews but today is the last time will have them wash my truck. I go there weekly. They used to do an amazing job. The quality of work and been steady on decline. I always ask for no amoral on my bed rails and rear bumper. But they always put it still. I was told truck was ready, I had to finish wiping it off myself. It was like they didnt even try. My paint now has swirls. I do not recommend going here if youd like your vehicle to be clean when you leave.
Went through, like I have dozens of time before, Just had not used them in over a year. The manager there, a lady, was super direct and very unprofessional in how she was speaking to me when I asked why they didnt wipe down the inside of the truck. Now that Ive sat here and had a little time to cool off, I have to think that the owners dont know this is going on, and if they do, they are destined to run off their customer base. Poor workmanship, poor attitude, Off to find a new place.
Cleaned my truck inside and out even though it was super muddy from a wild night of mudding. I had a low tire and they offered to change that and I also got a oil change. Everyone was super friendly. It took a while, but then again my truck was super dirty so a wait was expected. A1 customer service and I’ll definitely be coming back no matter the price.
Just did a terrible job cleaning my vehicle. They left a whole bottle of tire shine spilled on my back carpet with the towel. My vehicle was suppose to be armor all on the inside and they did a terrible job. They left spots all over in my vehicle. There is even a greasy palm print on my leather seats. Some spots were armor all and other were not. My rims were still dirty. I will never return there. If people are paying their hard earned money and tipping please do it right. I would have came back but I was just passing through town.
I will never return to this car wash again after today! There are literally like three cars here and it has taken over an hour to do a simple wash on my car. Not to mention I was charged an extra $2 for an “oversized” vehicle when I drive a Nissan Rogue. I’m sorry but that is not an oversized vehicle. It’s literally the same body size of a sedan raised up. Not to mention they scratched my husband’s truck and never fixed the scratch. Very disappointing! At least there are new car washes opening up in the area.
Usually have good service. Today I paid for full wash only to pick my truck up still needing attention. Interior was not near clean and was spots all over the truck. I even dropped it off so they could take their time. When I brought issues to their attention the took it to vacuum area to only leave it running for 20 minutes. So sad.
They need a new manager. She was rude and inconsiderate. She would not take the time to see what was wrong with my vehicle. She blamed it on me when it was their fault. They changed a setting on my vehicle that caused it to stall and not drive properly. I never touch this setting, however, they did. She refused to consider that they couldve done something wrong. She immediately took offense and put the blame on me and saying my vehicle had problems to begin with. She said it was stalling and that my dashboard was lit up and my engine light was on. Lies all around. 1) My car doesnt stall. It magically started stalling when I picked up the car? I came for a car wash. If my car was stalling, do you think I would bring my car in for a car wash versus an auto repair shop? Lie number 1. 2) My engine light was on. My engine light wasnt on when I drove there nor was it on when I left. So it was on those 2 hours I was there getting my car washed? Lie number 2. 3) My dashboard was lit up. The only lights that were on on my dashboard was my oil change light and my tire pressure light. Both had nothing to do with the fact my car was stalling. Lie number 3. Had she been the type of manager you supposed to be, she wouldve asked me to bring the car back to see what couldve happened. She did do this? No! Had she had done so, she wouldve seen that while cleaning my vehicle, they accidentally adjusted a setting on my vehicle that I never touch, therefore, causing my vehicle to stall and not drive correctly. It took me calling my brother and he told me after trouble shooting to make sure they didnt touch that setting. I saw they did. When I put it back to what it was supposed to me, my car drove normal. They screwed up. They messed with my driving settings. I did not. I never touch that setting so I didnt know it was something I had to notice couldve been changed. I have no problems with the guy that cleaned my vehicle. I even gave him a tip. I know he accidentally changed the setting. The manager not willing to admit that maybe it couldve been something I did and not willing to help...was downright unprofessional. I paid 120.00 for a full detail. The least she couldve done was take a quick look to see...oh...they accidentally adjusted one of my drive settings. As simple as that. I will be taking my business back to Kwik Kar Car and Lube. I already told people not to come to this location because of the rudeness of the manager and they will not come to the location.
I took my car there to have it washed and waxed and there was only one other car when I was there. It took them an hour and a half to get that done. They have an odd system. It seems like different people did different things. One person for vacuuming, another to dry the car, another to apply the wax and yet another to remove the wax and add armor all. After the person who waxed was done, it was another 15 minutes before the next person was there and he was taking his time while also checking his phone. They did a good job of cleaning. Only left a couple of areas that had what appeared like some smudge that they did not remove.
Great place for a wash and oil change. They do great on the exterior and interior of car, but tend to miss some spots on the inside. I came in for a detail cleaning after my car window got busted and glass was all on the inside. After leaving, I still found a ton of glass under my seats. This is why I give it a 4, due to missed details. This is a pretty quick car wash. Best times to go: early morning, and late afternoons around 2-3pm. There is a nice large common waiting area with massage chairs. They offer soft drinks and other car supplies you can purchase. They give free air freshener with car cleaning. Also, I go here for the self-service dog wash which is amazing. It is fenced in with a fresh grass patch and doggy bags for them to go to the bathroom. It cost $8 per 10 minutes. Its a digital machine that can take credit cards and cash and you can pause your session as you scrub your dog down. Water is heated at perfect temp for dogs, and you can pre sanitize the dog wash station. The machine is really an all-in-one type thing with a flea wash, rinse, shampoo, conditioner and 2 speeds on the blow dryer, as well as being able to chain your dog up as yoy wash them. I have large dogs so it typically takes me 2 full sessions in order to wash, condition, and dry them.
Just moved to the area and brought my wifes car in to get the state inspection done and also an oil change. They also did the free car wash with the service. The inspection was fine, oil change was fine, and also the car wash was fine. The reason I am giving them a 1-star review is that they are trying to scam people into paying for stuff they dont need. During the oil change, they brought me a dirty filter and said it was my cabin air filter. It was very dirty but it did not look like mine. I declined the service and did not think anything of it. Until I saw them bring the same filter out to two different customers and also afterward return the dirty filter to the managers office. This is not the way you do business. Luckily the other two people declined the service as well. I will never be back to this establishment nor will I recommend it to anyone I know. I refuse to support such poor and misleading business practices.
Okay, HUGE shout out to Leno and Leo. When I say my husbands Equinox was filthy it doesnt begin to cover the level of dirt, sand, grime, and MOLD on the interior of his vehicle. His oil hadnt been changed in so long it was straight sludge.Leo apparently had to shampoo the seats and floors four times, but he got the inside absolutely beautiful, practically new again. Leno not only changed the oil - he flushed the engine, cleaned the injectors, changed the disgusting cabin filters, and topped off the windhshield wiper fluid just because. On the way up I was stalling out and struggling to get up to 65 mph. On the way I home I kept hitting 80+ mph on accident.Moral of the story: DO NOT LET YOUR HUSBAND FISH WITHOUT INSPECTING THE CAR AFTER and when that fails, bring it here so they can fix it.
Very disappointing. Took 11/2 hours. After an hour I found the lady that runs the cash register to ask about my car. She found my car but it had not even been cleaned on the inside whereas I had watched other people come and be finished ahead of me. She did get someone on the car but the car still had dirt on the inside when I got in.
Just took my wifes truck here to get cleaned after a road trip. When I got it back the windshield was dirty the floor mats were dirty the back half of the truck still had soap on it (watch the trucks go through the tunnel and you can see their machines cut off before the rear tire, theres no way to get the back half of the truck clean if it does that). I was already there for close to 45 minutes so I only made them vacuum off the floor mats. I am at the house now washing the back half of the truck since apparently they are incapable of doing that.Tldr dont take your vehicles here they do a poor job.
Been going to this place for over 4 yrs and at one point had a membership and washed my car on a weekly basis. I cancelled my membership 3 months ago due to not being able to use it and returned yesterday for a wash. Usually get pretty good service, however, yesterday was an all out chaotic experience and Im extremely surprise there are no other negative reviews. But I will express the experience as the owners should know how poorly run their business was yesterday. I was told when I dropped off my car it would be an hr which turned into a 2 hr wait then 2.5hrs!!! Some people waited over 3hrs for a carwash and detail. Outrageous. Some staff mentioned they were short staff, however, that is not the problem. The problem is management wasnt prepared. Surely one or two missing staff cant totally cause a business to fall apart and if so, you dont have a real business. Period. Luckily I was prepared with stuff to do and was patient but others complained and were furious. The manager was there and he should have taken control and made numerous apologies for the long drawn out wait. The staff detailing the cars were running around like it was their first day on the job when I know thats not the case. So Ill be searching for another car was for someone who actually runs their business like a business and respects their customers time. Btw, after 2.5 hrs I still left a good tip for my detailer as it wasnt her fault she was simply misguided. Hope the owner/s and management learn from this and step up their game.Like to add to this terrible experience: I tried to give this business another shot as I had used their services for past 4 years or so and they changed my oil April 23rd. Come to find out its now July and I noticed an oil leak. I didnt blame them I just thought it was an oil leak and needed to be fixed so drove to Audi Central Houston which is an hr one way for me and the REAL mechanic their diagnosed the oil leak due to a damaged drain plug. This grandslam business is the only ones who touch my oil and this type of part just doesnt just go bad. So I paid Audi $411 and 6hrs of my time to fix it. I call Grandslam and spoke with Mary then Helen then Mr. Jose with no help. Mr. Jose wouldnt even return my phone calls. I had to call him and when we spoke he stated the owners refused to pay me my $411 because I waited TOO long?!!! I told them the leak was a slow leak and wouldnt occur quick but obviously their not competent enough to understand that. They didnt care to help me even though Ive spent well over a $1,000 over the course of 4 years!!! So save your money, time and car and I highly to not let them touch it as they will just place the blame back on you. Just read all their current reviews and volume of negative reviews and that should give you some insight. Dont let them take advantage of you like they did my situation. Go elsewhere.
I arrived at 3:10 on a Sunday and left at 4:20pm, and there were only a few other cars in front of me when I arrived. I got the Double package which isnt really anything else extra, so I thought this took a little longer than it should have. It took 30 minutes for them to even put the car through the wash tunnel. Once it got to the other side they dried it and it sat there for a while unattended. Finally a lady came over and very slowly cleaned the interior and did my tires. As I sat there impatiently wishing she would hurry up, I realized that it is a hot summer day, shes sweating, and Im sitting inside in the A/C like a jerk wishing she would work faster. So I got my phone out and told my self to keep busy and stay patient. This woman might be working slowly, but at least shes thorough! Its better than when they rush it and do a bad job.Overall: Slow but thorough. I was satisfied with the final results.
They always do a great job! There is a nice waiting area where they will ask you questions about any new filters or part replacements they suggest and give you pricing. I love going tui get my oil changed because I always drive away with that new car feeling because its so clean!!
If you like watching paint dry, you’ll like waiting at this placeOctober 19’ Update: Under staffed, and took full 30 minutes for car being dropped off to vacuum till it actually rolled into the machine to be washed. Then another 30-45 minutes to wipe it down. And windshield and windows still had streaks afterwards from them trying to wipe and clean. Need AI at these car washes bad.
Sometimes good sometimes not so good. My truck sat there for an hour until I said something to the manager lady. I watched all these people come and go before I got my truck finished. They did a good job on the detail though. Someone needs to manage the flow to keep it moving thru in order.
Staff here is rude and UNBELIEVABLY disorgabized. I went there 4 times over a span of 2 weeks...every single time that I arrived they were either on an early lunch break or simy couldnt be found. I always have to walk around the entire facility to find help or wait at the register until somone winders passed me and finally assists me. I was there to get a vehicle inspection done and they are awful! They take well over an hour to do the test each time and even if you dont pass they charge an almost $30 fee and ask you to come back AGAIN when you get it fixed. I am never coming back to this location and I literally live across the street from this location! Worst service Ive ever recieved at a carwash/state-inspection site.
I paid $140 to have my car detailed. The detail service itself was satisfactory, however the customer service was extremely terrible. Apparently they have massage chairs that will set off an alarm if you sit in them too long, there is no signage or indication that this feature is in place. After listening to the alarm for thirty minutes, the only reason I was made aware of the cause was because another customer very rudely enlightened me. During his enlightenment he mentioned that he and other customers were told by staff that I was fully aware that I was the cause of the alarm. This was a false statement. No representative or employee approached me to notify me that I was the cause of the alarm and no signs were posted to make that common knowledge. A loud, blaring fire alarm is not a common indication that you should change seats. I take issue with the fact that staff did not approach me directly and instead told other customers and created a potential altercation. Additionally, I called to speak with the manager directly and verbalized my concerns and he was dismissive and said, well you could have just turned the button off on the back, rather than being open to suggestions on how to prevent the situation from happening again or taking any initiative of accountability for the actions (or lack there of) of his employees. To top it all off it took over and hour and a half for my car to be completed. I would not recommend this establishment.
Coordination between the oil change and the add on wash is seriously lacking. Vehicle sat running for 20mins while more people got ahead of my vehicle in line for the wash. This could be understood due to staffing, or what not.The Issue I have, and why I lowered my stars from a previous review two years ago, is the vehicle that received an oil change after my vehicle. Their car wash was finished far ahead of my car wash.(And yes both vehicles received the same upgraded wash package, and their vehicle was larger than my vehicle. A Truck F-150 vs Crossover jeep Cherokee.)
Pretty good job on the detail of my car but business approach is shady. The website advertisement for detailing a car says interior and exterior. Under the interior section it says cream treatment of the interior, carpet, seats, and mats shampoo, advertised price $119. But when I picked up my car the bill was $199. When I questioned the charge the cashier said that the $119 price did not include putting cream treatment on the dashboard. So the extra $80 was for cream on the dashboard. She showed me that the dashboard was not mentioned in the ad. Shady! Beware. Pin down what you are paying for before you drop off your car.
Been coming here for 3 years now!!! Always purchased the Full Home Run including Full Synthetic oil change with engine cleaning religiously. Today the “NEW MANAGER” could NOT honor the price I’ve paid for the last three years, and it wasn’t so much the money it was purely the unprofessionalism I received from the lady who prints out the ticket and the way Manager spoke to me. “UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT”. Don’t come here, go to Hugh & Jeffs Car Wash & Grill. And oh, thanks for Corporates number, it was just a voicemail.
I took my vehicle there for detailing and somehow they broke off a button on my dashboard. I was advised by the manager, Amir Mata that their mistake would be fixed. He even gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him to find the button from wreck yard. I called and called but no one answered me. That was over a year ago. The same manager today tells me theres nothing he can do that the damage was not done by them. Can you believe that? I was so upset. I asked for the corporate office number and he refused to give it to me. Sadly, this company doesnt fix their customers vehicles when they damage them. They will give you the run around until they deny ever damaging your vehicle.
For those with vehicle damages*** These people ripped the mirror off my dads new truck and they refused to fix it. We had a representative call for their attorneys or insurance info to file it legally. Apparently that scared them. They talked to her, but then wouldnt return her phonecall and would only correspond with my dad. It took 30 days for them to fix the $1100+ part plus labor and paint and the truck be new again. You really gamble with taking your vehicle here. Apparently they do damage to a lot of people (judging by reviews) but you just have to play hardball with them. They cant hold you liable, despite their bogus signs. So rep or lawyer up (fake or not)
My father in law had his mirror ripped off his truck and they wouldnt do a thing till we had a rep call for their insurance or attorney info. They kicked it into gear and replaced the part within 30 days, but man was it a headache. I run a car dealership and sold him the truck and knew this place was 100% responsible. Just took being aggressive for them to eventually fix it. Avoid if you can.
They have been doing a good job until recently when I pulled out cut down the road I found my windows to be streaky and when I got home I noticed some dirt on the bottom panel of my underneath the doors was still there. Usually theyre pretty good but I guess when theyre real busy they happened to skip over some things.
2 hours of waiting for my car... I finally grabbed a rag and started wiping off the dried soap and water spots from it sitting wet in the sun for an hour. And to ask for my keys after it sat for an hour after coming out of the wash and drove around to speak with a manager. They told me they would wash it again. This is the most expensive package btw...Dont get your car washed it, its a waste of time and money.If I wanted to spend over 2 hours having my car washed, I would have done it myself in my driveway and got a tan while I was at it.
Ive been a monthly subscriber for a long time to their carwash and use it regularly. Generally Ive been happy with them. On 2/22/17 I took my car into the wash, everything seemed normal except no one picked up my car to dry it off at the end of the wash area. They sent another car through the wash tunnel and becasue it was on an auto track and my car was still in the tunnel it collided with my car damaging the rear bumper. Yes, they had an accident in the wash tunnel doing damage to my car! They 1st tried to pretend nothing happened and tried to pass of the damaged car to me. Shady! I talked to the manager and he said please fill out this accident form and well call you back to arrange repair. Of course they never called back. So I contacted them using their listed number and if no one answers their voice mail greeting says says the number is disconnected, but its not... Suspicious. So I went and got some estimates on my own time from some local body shops. I e-mailed them to the store on 3/2/17 of course I never heard back. I went in person 3/7/17 they said they would repair the car but wanted to take the car from me and have their own person repair the car. If youre not returning my phone calls, youre not telling me where youre going to take it, and offer no guarantees on the repair, I said no. Write a cashiers check to the body shop I choose. Of course Ive not heard back. Shameful they damaged my car by their negligence, then wont repair it ($600 in damage). Regardless I would not recommend going here. The owners name is Pat Woodyard for those who have a similar issue, you have to look up the corporation name at the secretary of state and it costs money so maybe this will help others.
I hate giving local businesses bad reviews but this one was well deserved. They did not shampoo much seats or wash my truck after I payed them to do a full detail a $190 and my truck was still dirty then the lady was like Im sorry i was rushing them to finish. We normally arent this bad. I will never go there again
Wish I could give them zero stars. I got an oil change in my prius, a few days later my oil warning started going off. No oil on the dipstick. Glad they didnt ruin my engine. My wife got her oil changed there a couple days after I did, and they convinced her to get a transmission fluid change. Overfilled it by two quarts. Our van broke down on the freeway and now the auto shop says our transmission pump is failing due to the overfill. Thanks for nearly killing my car and running my wifes transmission. I wouldnt go back if I was paid to do so.
I got a quick wash, but the worker who wiped down my car did a crappy job. And there was a jeep in front of me that had too large of tires to go through the wash. I had to wait 15 minutes and back up my car so the jeep could get out. The staff shouldve paid more attention.
Decided to try this location out because I’ve always had a good experience at the other one. BIG MISTAKE. Not in how well the car was done, but in the awful customer service. Personal items of mine were thrown away, items that were obviously not trash. When I asked why they weren’t simply put in the trunk like done in the past, I was told it was corporate policy because of theft accusations that they no longer move customer items. THEN WHY WERE MY ITEMS THROWN AWAY??? This location needs to get its business together. Do not go here!
I went to have my company truck oil change and wash on Saturday and the serviced I paid for cleaning inside my truck were not done. I went back on Monday to have them actually clean the inside of my truck. While I was talking to the manager I saw my truck going into the wash again. I was not aware anyone was even in my truck or that it would be washed again I ran over since I had $140 in my door and the money was gone!! Yes gone from my door!! I told the manager and they said they would check the vacumes and call me however no call no attempt at satisfying or even a free car wash! Terrible customer service and handling bad experiences. My fiance also got her car washed Saturday and they only vacumed the left half of her car, they didnt even vacum the right passenger side.
I brought in my truck covered in mud, and by the time I left Grand Slam my truck was spotless. I even take my dogs there to get them a bath at their dog wash station. It is a pleasant experience everytime I go there! I got a Grand Slam Interior Detail and the seats and the dashboard was completely clean.
I have used this car wash for years, but the last few times have been disappointing. I had my truck washed and noticed a few days later that my black floor mats were gone. They lay on black carpet and I never really noticed until I had to place a messy object on the mat...and realized they werent there... I called and they said they had them...(in fact, there was a STACK of them behind the counter)..... then I didnt have cash for a tip and felt sorry for the guys, so I used the in-house ATM...noticed today that they charged me $2 for checking my bank account balance, $22.50 for withdrawal of $20 and $2.50 for a non Wells Fargo atm...so my tip ended up costing $7 without including the tip....WHAT A RIP OFF!!! Beware!!! Not to mention that the interior windows looked like a lick-and-a-promise....still smeary and fingerprinted from the 3 and 5 year olds... Will be looking for another place. :-(
I had to come back and rate again, they are losing stars and if next time I go its not good I will be cancelling my monthly payments. The employees drying the cars are getting lazier each visit, they take forever to attend to the car after it exits carwash even on a slow day...my car continues to have dry dirt spots because they half dry it almost like they hope the sun drys it before they get to it, for less work...one more strike and they areout..we will see next visit.
We have used this car wash service for a year but today when they finish my car. It was covered in scratches. The scratched were straight vertical lines, obviously the brush or something in the wash scratched my new black vehicle. The manager Amir said he could buff them out because they were not deep. The worker said a lot of cars are coming out the wash damaged.Unfortunately he buffed the scratches and I could still see the scratches. The manager then said they did not do that... he took no responsibility for the damage on my vehicle.Go Somewhere Else...,,

Grand Slam is the ONLY place I take my car for lube services or interior/exterior wash. Ive never experienced any bad vibes here and never have I noticed any vehicle damage to my car. The service is fantastic, staff is friendly and always assertive initiating contact with you to address your needs. They let you know wherever you are through intercom that your car is ready and also will come find you if intercom does not catch your attention. The waiting room is clean inside and out. They have a outdoor covered patio with nice furniture if you want to lounge in the sun. Free wifi, The wait time depends on what day you go, of course on weekends its busy.....if you get mad because you had to wait Id go on to assume you are a complete idiot because this is to be expected. They are not just playing around, everyone is working hard. If you are waiting its because they are taking just as much time on YOUR vehicle as the did the one before you. It isnt called detailing for no reason. Just enjoy the nice waiting room and clean bathrooms or walk over to victory lakes town shopping center to stay busy if you too good for wait times lol. Ive never experienced over an hour wait time here. Also, Id like to mention employee # 9653 I believe she is a cashier . I dont know her name (pretty blonde haired girl) she is SUPER sweet and will help you pick out the package you need and want. She helped me decide on my free scent that came with my package. I liked the cotton candy, but options are endless. Just check it out and see what you think.
Place isn’t great at all definitely would not recommend. There automated car wash scratched my brand new truck all up an there guy taking antennas off before you enter the wash scratched my truck all up trying to loosen and remove antenna. First time going and will definitely be the last.
WOW excellent. I got a quick and excellent oil change with very helpful staff. Beside that, they cleaned my car not only with the machine but with people cleaning the inside and fishing it by hand. I regret not finding this place earlier!! this is my new must go place from now on. Highly recommend
I came in and got the Homerun on my wife’s car. After getting the car back floor mats were still dirty windows were still fairly dirty just was not at all impressed with the job they did. I decided to give them a second shot and brought in my sons car and got the triple play. Same result. Everyone there is friendly seems to work hard however the work itself is not very good.
I have been to Grand Slam Car Wash several times, but my visit this morning has caused me to write this review and NEVER return. I chose the “triple” ($27.99) car wash for our SUV which typically adds $2 for a large vehicle; but this time I was asked if I wanted bugs cleaned off the grill? I said of course and then I was advised that it would cost an additional $7.00... WTH??? What was the initial $29.99 for? Absolutely ridiculous! I won’t go back.
I had such terrible experience with their customer service. I was told I would be called when my vehicle was ready never received a call after 2 hours! When I called to inquire about my vehicle the receptionist hung up on me twice! When she finally answered I guess she didn’t realize I was on the line or maybe didn’t are because I could hear her laughing with her friend about how she had “hung up twice on the person who just called”. I will never give my business to this place again.
Wanted an inside cleaning only included leather conditioning. I was told my vehicle was done and after inspection the carpets were not vacuumed, the pedals were not wiped down and the conditioner was only done on one seat. They told me the workers couldnt reach the pedals which is when I grabbed a rag and showed them how easily it could have been done.
Was rated 5 stars until yesterday 7 26 19. The truck had soap streaks all down the sides. And they used that oily armour all like interior wipe. That stuff will cook and dry out/crack the leather dash, and everything else... they missed so many spots even with the wrong treatment inside it looked horrible! Now using a hand wash company from here on out...
Would not even give this place 1 star. My husband took my car in for detailing bc I took our dogs to the groomers & had there hair all over, NONE OF IT was removed & there was soap stains still all over the car. Very disappointed, not a “grand slam” not even a base hit!!
This place was always where I went for inspections, but for the second year they have let me down. Last year their inspector told me my turn signals had a wiring issue and werent working. Long story short, I just needed bulbs. This year neither location had inspectors on a Saturday! I hate to say after years of doing business here I will not be back.
I have never wrote a review on any thing in my life. Very easy going. Wow just left here worst experience I have ever had I arrived @7:48 am. The first one there and my truck did not start getting washed until 8:45 I did not leave until 920am the machine was broke and the associate at the desk told me that I was getting a hand wash at no extra charge. My truck was sitting there from 8:00-8:30 running I told the associate twice please have them turn my truck off there is no reason to have it running if it is just sitting there finally I went out side and turned it off. At the point I ask to talk to the manager of course no Manager there he finally gets there @ 9. I tell him that I have had a bad experience and he give me the run around. So at this point I tell him I am never coming back and leaving bad reviews.... And he tells me we we have very many happy customers do what you have to your truck is probably ready. At this point I ask who is in charge he replies that he is and there is no one else. I want to talk to the owner and he tells me he cant give me that information. So I walk outside and wait for my truck to get done. He comes out and try to talk to me some more and give me some more bs about he has only been here a month and has had to fire 17 ppl I walk away and just leave. The hand wash looked like a 12 year old did it horrible will never go back please do not go here!!!!!!
They just dont take time to clean the inside. For the money I spend on them cleaning the car, you would think they would wipe everything including the cup holders. I pay for that service but the never do it and when told about it they get ugly and mad. Coming up with reason why they didnt clean it. Just trying to get more money.
The one hour start to finish time I was quoted ended up taking 1 hour and 45 minutes. The music playing vulgar lyrics gave the whole place a trashy feel. The bar room pool table seemed like a cool addition to the waiting area but ended up being the center of an odd waiting experience and an attraction to some foul mouthed groups of awesome individuals. It was a less of a show than their fully visible underwear however, so theres that. I will not be returning. Ever.
Displeased with the $150 detail package. Package included clay bar and a carnauba wax. Upon completion numerous spots still had wax, numerous spots still dirty, rear view mirrors were dirty, windshield filthy. Got tired of pointing out all the mistakes to the guy. Came home and spent 30 minutes finishing what should have been done. This facility has absolutely no idea on how to detail nor how to clay bar. Dont reccomend using the place.
I cant even fathom how this place even has 3.2 stars. Yesterday was our first and last time ever going to this carwash. While my brand new Dodge Challenger was getting washed, my right mirror broke off and there were scratches all over my car that werent there before. One of the managers named Andres refused to give me my money back for the wash and also refused to pay for the damages. I called the police department out and finally got what I wanted. Rude and unprofessional service.
Spend $100 to get my car washed the Grand Slam treatment however when they give your car to let the people work on it its like they released a raccoons in it anything shiny disappeared and nobody knew anything about it when asked that say I no understand the only thing management could say was well are you sure you didnt leave it somewhere else this was a Duty knife given to me for a child save it stays in my truck and never leaves until I hit this place think twice about leaving your valuables in your car As A Firefighter they gave me 10% off of the total deal but I ended up paying for it with something that meant more to me than just $106-28-19 wow nothing has changed just got my truck washed but this time I took everything out so I made sure I got everything back however it still doesnt help the fact that you get people that do not care about their job or the job that they do for others I got a half washed truck with armor all on things that dont get armor all things to get armor all dont have armor on them and just to make sure that I did get enough armor all it was pulling and dripping off the interior of my truck this is a horrible place to bring your vehicle youll spend more time making it right yourself been doing it yourself this will be the last time I visit this place Dont get me wrong it is a very nice place to bring your vehicle but the personnel is something different except for the sweet nice lady that took my money very happy very pleasant.
Waiting too long for them to dry the cars my car was already dry from the Texas sun so there are a ton of water spots left on the car. People that were behind me in line left before us. Ridiculous way to organize. Should be first in first out not whatever car I feel like drying off. I dont recommend this place. Might as well just dry it yourself.
Great Job, wifes Truck been washed very good , first time i use them and price was very good, been going to another location were I pay couple dollars less but I have to dry, vacuum by my self, here they do all the work and other place the truck was coming out with a lot of spots of water on it so more work to dry it, here give keys and they take care of it and they do a great Job
Do not go to Grand Slam car wash & lube on Walker Street in League City! They returned my key to me yesterday it was broke in half and when I confronted them yesterday they said that was the way I gave it to them. The manager called today to apologize if his employees EFFENDED me but stood by the it was broken when you gave it to us story. Ok because a OR Nurse would do that. Thanks for horrible customer service!F/U: when my husband confronted the manager Juan this afternoon he just wanted to pay me off and he also said that he would stand up for his obviously lying employee. i asked so youre admitting to your employee lying. He said yes cause he has been such a great FRIEND for 3 yrs. Oh okay i see where this is going. I dont want anything from Grand Slam Car Wash just an honest and truthful apology. If not the bbb and league city pd will get involved.
Looked good at first glance and realized they didnt finish buffing the wax out on the front end and missed several spots on the interior obviously just doing a quick wipe down instead of detailing missed my rear view mirror n didnt hit a specific spot on my window I asked about twice I called the manager and got hung up on with no call back and thats what was the deciding factor to write this the only helpful person was the girl at the front ...... also played for the home run package (the best available)
This place seems nice. Has the potential to be great. Ever since new management took over the service is rude, the washes are wayyy way over priced and the results are not great. Tried giving this place a chance as I used to go there. Not anymore. Don’t waste your time and money here.
They broke my truck and left it sitting in the middle of the parking lot after an oil change made me pay for it and pay to tow it and then bragged to to tow truck driver about how easy he got over on me, on top of that called the police on me because I wanted answers and still do...my truck wont start now. Thanks Grand Slam ;)

2022-04-28Had stopped going here because they do a poor job vacuming and my windows are always left greasy. Tried it again and its worse. Cashier was rude. Interior left dusty and dirty. I could have did this poor job myself and saved some money. The pictures show after taking it through second time. BTW carpet deodorizer in back. Will not return.

2021-11-18I’ve been coming to get multiple cars cleaned here since they opened. Well today ruined all of that. I’ve had some rush jobs before but never one so terrible like this. When I questioned the spots that were still dirty I received the rudest response on top of it and nothing to make it better. I basically was shooed off. Will NOT be returning.

2022-03-28Paid for the full interior and exterior detail package which was offered for $200 online. Was told it was $250 at first when I got there, then showed them the online price and they did it for $200.When they told me the car was done, I found dust all over the vehicle and trash in some places that could easily be seen. I just bought the vehicle Friday, today is Monday, bought it used, and wanted it to be like new. This is not the place to get it done. After pointing out the trash to the employees and even the manager, they still acted like they couldn’t see it. Terrible service, terrible customer service, and Ronnie, the manager was completely against assisting me with getting the vehicle cleaned. Will never be here again. I recommend you avoid it. Another customer had the Buick symbol knocked off of his car by one of the employees. They do not care about their customers what so ever. I’ll have pictures up soon to go with this post.

2021-01-26Will never go back. Looks like they did a rush job on my small vehicle. Went early in the morning to beat the crowd and it still looks like they didn’t take their time. I got the Home Run wash, $36.99. I found dirt on all my floor mats, water spots on the windows, crumbs/ dirt within the leather seams, and still fur from my dog (sitting right on the passenger seat). I also found a small scratch on the inside of my driver side window. The lady swore to me they didn’t do it, but I have never seen it before (it’s a new car). Didn’t get an apology or refund or even my tip back. They weren’t willing to do anything for me as their customer.

2021-04-05I have always had a good experience here and the staff is just as pleasant. I stopped in today for a wash & hot wax. My car looks gorgeous inside and out with no marks left behind. I love my car and do not trust anyone else washing it.
