Greyhound Bus Station in other cities:
Every bag assistant that I have dealt with tried to steal my bags, the bus driver cant wait to kick someone off the bus. Bus driver gave me the wrong info qich made me miss my bus. So I. Issed a job opportunity and was rexire ted back where I started. Total waste of $189.00 plus the new wifi thats a part of the upgrade we supposed to be paying dont work for nothing as well as the outlets on the bus. Greyhound is only comfortable for prison Inmates.
At one stop one of two buses broke down so we had to double up on passengers. We were about an hour late getting out. But our driver was amazing. Somehow he got me to my next bus ON TIME! He took no nonsense from anyone and kept us moving right along. We as passengers should thank our drivers more often.
Unhelpful personnel; rude driver would NOT allow me & my service dog to sit in designated disabled area till he spoke to this union rep. Threatened to kick me off if my dog didnt stay on floor which it didnt because it is TRAINED to jump up and restrain me from hurting myself if I have a seizure which I did. Violating my rights under the Federal Americans with disabilities act.
My bus got to the station at 6:30. The sign on the door says they open at 6, but online it says they open at 6:30. Itβs now 8:30 and finally someone is here to unlock the doors. Iβm extremely upset. They had me sitting outside the door like a hobo for 2 hours. Now that Iβm inside the lady and man that is working are extremely unprofessional and rude. As Iβm trying to explain my frustration and inquire about the correct time they open, the two walk off as if Iβm not even there. The lady yelled at me for no reason, as I keep a calm tone. Absolutely NO customer service. Iβm also allergic to cats and they just have a stray roaming around in here from the streets. Disgusting. They are both not wearing masks.
The gentleman at the front desk was extremely patient and helpful. I missed my bus, and he was able to change it for me and found one for the very next day. The station itself is a good size. There is also a man outside that sells homemade food prior to departing that helps for the long ride.
You can tell people hate their jobs there. I asked the clerk if my bus was ready to board as he saw me enter the station. He failed to remind me that you need a tag on ur luggage. Most drivers are mean and over react when you break the rules regardless of the customers ignorance. The last driver I had was phenomenal, very helpful. Probably will be the first and last driver with such great service. Other than that, use Greyhound if you really are desperate to travel. Buses tend to be late and there is no refund for your ticket. When I arrived to Big Springs (on the way to my destination) , three people were stranded since their bus was three hours late even though the station was about to close.
The two gentlemen in here that work at this bus depot and very kind.. Im so thankful for meeting people like them.. in my many many travels it is very rare to meet two young men that are just awesome and pure in spirit as they are God..bless them and thank you for your kindness
Been here a few times and some days its awesome and the other days its just a normal greyhound station..not much there apart from vending machines and restrooms and everyone hates their job/life and just wants to go home and not care about the passengers....also, just be prepared to have the issue of your bus skipping big spring and not stopping and they have to change your ticket to go to Amarillo...(if youre heading to Dallas from San Angelo)
This is the third time this happens and idk why but I keep using Greyhound. There is always Delays! Had to wait 5 extra hrs for a driver to arrive because they where short on drivers. Not my problem itβs a business and should be prepare for what comes. Then had to wait another 5hrs Iβm Big Springs because there where more delays with buses. I decided to call a relative and picked me up. Would definitely not recommend this bus line to anyone.
NEVER RIDE GREYHOUND! Worst experience ive ever had. All my drivers were rude and disgruntled, my bus was a SERIOUS SAFETY AND HEALTH HAZARD as in the outlets were faulty and the VENTS WERE LEAKING WATER AND FALLING DOWN on the passengers! Not to mention, upon arrival IT WAS COMPLETELY FILTHY. AT one point the entire seat leaned COMPLETELY OVER! At another, a young woman was taken off the bus and we waited for her in the SUN FOR AN EXTRA HOUR AND THE AIR CONDITIONING DID NOT WORK! Because my bus was SOOOO delayed our driver SKIPPED OUR MEAL STOPS AND I WAS STILL AN HOUR LATE PASSED MY ARRIVAL TIME! so lets skip to customer service, I complain as soon as i arrive at my destination and im told THERES NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE I MUST WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING AND CALL. I called the following day. I was greeted with I COULD NOT FILE A COMPLAINT UNTIL ALL THE BUS INFORMATION HAS BEEN ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM WHICH TAKES 24 HOURS. Day 3, I finally call and get a calim number. Day 4 I call back. So Im telling customer service my situation and im being told that because not ONLY DID MY BUS DRIVER NOT REPORT THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TIME DELAY they cannot provide me with a refund. I spoke with the supposwd highest level of customer service and was told there was nothing they could do well. Last $300 they will ever get from me. #NEVERAGAIN time to go public with these videos ans pics smmfh. All i wanted was a REFUND.
Worker behind counter in Streetport Louisiana was extremely rude and unprofessional with handling customers. Mrs Gloria was her name very rude and disrespectful with no disregard for patrons. I feel this lady has been in this position a little bit too long she feels she doesnt have to respect the people paying their money to ride Greyhound
If theres anything I hate (now), it riding the Greyhound Bus. Okay, where do I start. The station is fairly clean which I certainly can not say about most of the Greyhound Stations. When its finally time to board the bus, people have usually been standing in line for a good hour and unless they are right in front, they are usually irritable. The station has it set up so that you have to stand in a line that is usually ridiculously long to the point of obstructing the line of people walking by. For that reason, many people dont bother to stand in line and cut in front of other people. This can cause confrontations because no body gets down like that! I have actually has a shoving match with a fat little man that thought he was going to cut in front of me and I actually had been standing in line for over an hour. So that definitely didnt fly. While your standing in line, you are expected to drag all your luggage with you as well as any carry on bags you may have. And ladies, this is in addition to your purse of course. There are sometimes workers there to assist you but dont count on it. When entering the bus, everybody wants their own seat and it can sometimes be an ordeal to find a seat if you were at the back of the line. Of course, Greyhound tries to fill every possible seat to the point that there are people practically on top of each other. And in other cases, they over book the buses and you may end up waiting for another bus with the help of the Greyhound employees (meaning they will make sure you catch another bus). Many times, the people on the bus are loud, rude, and generally disgusting to be around or sit next to. Ive experienced many instances in which people were so belligerent that the driver threatened to put them off and once they actually did. Another bus driver called the police and had them waiting at the next stop for a man who wouldnt pipe down. I am appalled because I have been riding greyhound on and off for years. But this time, they actually lost my luggage and then someone stole my carry on bag. (Of course Greyhound could do nothing to help me). My luggage was at my final destination but I couldnt believe that actually happened when I saw the bus driver place the luggage in the compartment below the bus. I was told that because my luggage looked just like about 80% of the other customers luggage (a black mesh type suitcase), someone probably took mine by mistake. Okay, but shouldnt the bus driver be paying attention to if people are taking suitcases without their names on them!!!?? You literally have to watch people as they take their bags to make sure its not yours! And on a previous ride, I had an altercation with a lady because she claimed my suitcase was hers. I had to snatch the bag from her and show her my name tag. SMIRK! The drivers are usually pretty cool but every once in a while, you get a driver from Hell, who you want to throw off the bus (as they threaten passengers). And the buses are almost always late. Especially long distance bus rides. I have spoken with fellow riders who told me that they had been waiting several hours and sometimes days! I have come to the conclusion that on long distance Greyhound bus rides, there is always someone who is mentally ill, someone who is loud and obnoxious (usually a group) and someone who is the jokester. They claim to have free wifi but believe me when I say IT SUCKS. So if your expecting to us it during you trip to save your phone data, better bring a book. Im sorry, but after my last few Greyhound bus rides, I can stand Greyhound. From now on, Ill be spending a little more and taking a plane. Needless to say, I dont recommend Greyhound Buses to anyone.
The lady at the Big Spring stop is rude. My dads bus was set to leave at 5:25 am. We arrived at 5:20am and the bus was already gone. And the lady in the office said we lied about what time we arrived. Just because we didnt go in the office when we arrived. Than she tells my dad, she told him to be here at 5:00am which is a lie. Because she told him the bus leaves at 5:30am the day he bought the ticket. Luckily I looked at the ticket and told him it says 5:25am so thats why we arrived at 5:20am.
The bus driver was arrested and we had to sit on bus for 6 hours waiting for another driver and wouldnt refund any money even though driver put our lives at risk. What a crappie way to treat paying customers. Whats worse is we were all searched for Mexican smuggling and wasnt even at the border.
The bus was and hour an 40 minutes late. I was supposed to leave at 8:30 am, and apparently they dont officially open the front desk until 9:30, which I learned as a man in a greyhound shirt yelled at me for asking about my bus before he was officially required to answer my questions. I would give 0 stars if it was an option.
The truth will be very honest, it is one of the worst bus lines in which the truth has been, their buses are very badly cleaned, the attention is not good at all, for those of us who do not know English, the changes in arrivals from point A to point B are very outdated, the truth is, Im disappointed in this bus base with the best prices, we dont even talk

2022-05-31Pretty organically small, pleasant bus station with great urbanization around it, with a very clean feel to the environment and coordinating location in one of the central areas of a small town and accessibility to the desired affordability

2022-03-15Im very disappointed in Greyhound, losing my luggage and the communication between stations is terrible. The drivers are rude and non helpful with misinformation from one driver to the next. I traveled from Abilene Texas there was no attendant there to purchase a claim ticket for my extra luggage and wouldnt let me carry on hes not any room bus was full. This is the last time Ill travel Greyhound. π

2018-06-13Great staff friendly answers all your questions. Its clean and is a comfortable atmosphere. Wish I could say that for the buses and bus drivers. Most were rude bossy and I even heard one got fired for drinking on the job. So sad make the station staff look bad.

2018-01-04Lots of scruffy men wearing jackets smoking cigarettes with a stripped cat looking for handouts. Some of these men will try to pet the cat. The closest I succeeded was a 12 inch distance by throwing hot dog meat from a man selling food out of his trunk. Everything is $3, but the hot dogs are the best. It is two hot dogs with chilli and cheese combined into one.Wheelchair accessible.

2022-07-09Did not look too bad. I have not been in the station itself but it looked clean and the area around it also was nice. I changed the bus here and there was a man selling buritos which have been fantastic (would have been 5 stars but sadly I cant rate him). It might be the guy in the green van another review is talking about and I have to admit the car itself did not look good at all bu the taste was great. Even though I only had 15 minute for changing form San Antonio to El Paso everything worked fine and all busses were on time.

2021-11-02WOW, this 5 day trip aboard Greyhound buses was my first experience for choice of travel. The nickname for my experience is called Bussing Boot CampTheres different bus drivers (I do praise them!) not only driving us, its the overall responsibility of getting us passengers to and from safely. Here is a couple of tips:1. Brings snacks/drinks.2. When packing suitcases, you pay for one suitcases and get a second one free (only if it passes weight requirements). So make sure to disperse your heavy items evenly with the amount of suitcases youre traveling with.3. You will be unloading and reloading for every bus transfer (this is when it feels like BOOT CAMP).4. NEVER be late getting back on to the bus from a rest stop! (the bus driver has to keep a schedule and will leave you).5. DO NOT anger your bus drivers. (Some individual bus drivers have their own way and/or Styles).Good luck and Happy Travels π
