Greyhound Bus Station in other cities:
The Depot was clean and the staff was mostly friendly. My bus was over an hour late. I’m glad they had a restaurant right inside the depot. They also sell travel related items and tons of phone chargers which you can use right at the charging stations. All in all, not a terrible experience.
Greyhound is by far the worse bus line in service.even though drinking is forbidden,I just cant fathom throwing a woman off the bus in 30 degree weather at night in the middle of nowhere.she wasnt hurting anyone she just told him what she thought of him and he proved it.There bus stations have no one to answer their phones their agents are there to collect your money only.Try Los Limosines for good prompt service.Someone or thing really ran greyhound into the dirt.
Im giving a 1 star because the guy and security personnel were being super rude and smart a## to all people, yelling and screaming if someone were to ask any questions not professional at all. There was an elderly person that was in need of the restroom and he had his ticket and security didnt want him to use it, couldnt get any names but I was here 3/17/22 at 1am till 3.24am the only guy that was kind enough was the one putting the bags in the bus. What a disappointment!!
Had a connecting bus to Dallas from here .. the security guard was rude immediately upon arrival shouted at me about my service animal which I had his badge and Documentation in my hand telling me to get out . When a bus driver had to inform him I just got off the bus he calmed down . And didn’t apologize.
Bus was three hrs late. I have no idea if my luggage will be where its suppose to be at my destination. Some of the drivers down south are pretty rude. Im mostly distraught about my belongings consider how. Much i spent on my ticket. Not happy with greyhound at present moment.
I always seem to forget why it is that I dont ride greyhound.. I then book my ticket, make the trip, and then ugh I remember why I dont ride Greyhound.I booked two tickets from El Paso to Phoenix. Tuesday at 2:30 am with an arrival time in Phoenix at 10:30 am because it was so cheap. My mistake, you get what you pay for.We got to the station at 12:00 am just to be safe and went to the ticket counter to get our tickets. We waited.. and waited... waited some more until finally a girl comes running from the back. We seriously thought no one was working the front.. we get the tickets and sit down. Oh and she lets us know the bus is an hour late! Ugh!!Ive got to say though that this is probably one of the cleanest stations Ive ever been in. It didnt smell like BO and I saw the employee sweeping up the trash every so often.... The bathroom? Dont ever use it. I think they mop the floors with pee?Did I feel safe? NO. The person sitting behind me was bragging about how they had just gotten out of jail after being locked up for 12 years... the person sitting next to me was nervous and scared and asked me 362828 times if he was going to get robbed and if the bus was safe. (It was his first time on a greyhound) I just giggled.Oh an adventure it was, an adventure that I will never take again!Oh and the bus smelled gross. Wish people would learn how to shower for the sake of others. Oh you know I like the smell of sweat, feet, pee, and smoke all together, ahhhh yess :)
I will never spend one dime at this company ever again. I disputed a ticket charge within three days. The company knew that the money spent was an unauthorized charge. They knew that the money was meant to purchase college classes and that the ticket will not be used. The company absolutely did not care. Be very careful when dealing with this company. They are untrustworthy and predatory. I wont be surprised if they go bankrupt one day. They have terrible customer services and deplorable business practices.
Hi sweeties I just wont to say thank you for helping me friend get her tickets to go on vacation and be safe with your drivers go bless them to again thank you have a wonderful happy new years day with your familys amazing holidays and your employees and staff 😊to be safe happy holidays amen 🎊🎆🎉🎄🤶🎅🙋♀️🕯🙏😇🌛
Actually, I never went inside. I just went to pick up somebody so I never went past the parking lot (which was OK as parking lots go). It was 1 AM when I got there. A man was on one of the benches on the sidewalk adjacent to the lot. He appeared to be having some type of mental/emotional crisis, as evinced by his spasmodic body movement and vocal squawking and yelling. It was somewhat tragic to witness - another human being in pain. The bus I was waiting for arrived in a short time. I retrieved my people and departed. I noticed the man on the bench had left, too. . .
The person I talked to was utterly unhelpful. I was just asking for help locating a package that Greyhound has, after I finally found out from a friendly employee at its origin location that it had most recently been scanned in El Paso less than 36 hours ago. The person refused to ask other employees, and said they were not allowed to use pen and paper to write down a note or to take my phone number. He put me on hold for 15 minutes to talk to a supervisor, then told me I would have to call back, and that they were not allowed to call me back. Calling requires you go through a 5 minute sequence of automation to get to an actual person, which I explained to him, as well as that I was willing to wait until the supervisor was available, but he was totally unsympathetic, became impolite, then hung up on me. He had a Hispanic accent, sounded young, and was excessively polite. He should be disciplined.
One of the nicer stops on the way traveling with greyhound. Cleanliness, Service, as well as Security, Employees and fellow travelers. Just one of the prettier places to look at the beautiful town see all the buildings around you know the labor of love that it took to build just one of the nicer stops along the highway. It brings the passion and the adventures as well as a romance of traveling along the highway heading to your better destination or just on your way home you can feel the love.
First time going here to pick up my aunt and uncle. Nice and I liked that a couple came i. With no masks and the staff got right in them. Not wearing a mask is putting everyone at risk. I was happy to see they enforce it here for everyone’s safety. Nice staff and bus was on time. Easy and pleasant
Be honest yall driver fell asleep and almost killed us. From Houston to San Antonio you got do. Better and need to be some rude maybe some camera on board so greyhound can see how they talk to. Us. Not cool. I want a refund Thai my first experience it Im. Telling right Im not even done with his ride. But this one taking another way back yall gonna kill. Me
Greyhound is the cheapest public transportation between Amtrak bus and flying and it shows.. No What was supposed to take 3 days from start to finish wound up taking 5 days. After1 bus driver confessing to never have driven the type bus we were in, we broke down 5 miles from station. Then we had to turn back change buses that took some time. Then coming across Arizona and Texas another bus started overheating so we traveled 200 mi, at 40mph with no ac. The driver did feel sorry for us and bought the whole bus large drinks. After that we were late for our next bus we arrived about 10pmin los Angeles so I had to wait on my next bus going to my destination til 7pm the next night.sleeping in the station possibly the worst night of my life. So finally we get on the bus the next night ride from L.A. to San Bernardino arrive about 4am supposed to have 30 min layover instead they had no bus or driver to lined up to complete our trip after calling the 1-800 number only to be told we were on our way north and we were lying they finally sent a bus and driver about 9am,about 4 hrs later and drinks are 3 in the machines chips candy bars and all others are from 2-5 dollars and all machines in these stations are owned by grey hound so yes I have a right to be upset with greyhound.
Very crowded unclean busses no temperature checks no social distancing or any covid screening what so ever bus drivers are rude and harsh threatening passengers with removal from the bus for talking beyond a whisper .or if there phone rings.every bus station I was in was filthy and not well organizedAtlanta Georgia was by far the worst Ive ever seen .most greyhound employees are rude and dismissive and seemingly angry ..we the customers pay good money for are tickets yet most of us are treated poorly and made to feel unimportant and a bother ..I saw most of this happen to other people in terminals and also experienced it myself ..seems the whole of the greyhound customers get treated poorly
Im still here waiting for us to get another bus its already 2 hours and counting and they dispatched our bus about an hour an half ago because the current bus is overheating . I dont blame the driver because hes really nice ans courteous But I hope it doesnt exceed more than 3 or 4hours
Let me start with the supervisor, a very nice man whose name I wont say but starts with J, is an amazing person with patience that would make a monk fidget. He litterly helps people out of his own pocket. AAtrue blue Mr. Fixit. His mother should be proud. On the other side of the coin we have a older female driver ( who would be quite pretty without the resting. - itchface.) Whose name starts with Rebecca who will give no reguards to your health or safety whatsoever. She moved me to the back of the bus, after me cordially explaining i get motionsick..then left me (i was outside the door) after she let me off the bus to vomit. Theres a special place in he-ll for people like her. Should not be a driver. Or allowed to work with people on any level. Or be around small children...and animals. The balance of meeting these two people in the same day is an epic scale. Ill never ride Greyhound again ...Ill try the train.
This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic and people are doing their best, but Passengers are going through the same things as the employees. Unnecessary rudeness and attitudes combined with a lack organization and communication made this by far the WORST station I’ve traveled through to date. They also are making people remove n-95 grade and higher masks to purchase a disposable paper mask. This was pretty much the topper on the cake.
Was overall a good experience. For the most part I think Greyhound tries to keep everything clean. My only problem a situation arises amongst 2 passengers. They got pretty ugly with one another, and vulgarities were exchanged. One if them reported it to the driver who wasnt on the bus when it happened. The driver brushed it off as though the guy was making much about nothing. The 2 passengers avoided one another the rest of the 16 hours I was around them. The driver should have listened to the guy, and talked to both passengers.
Only If Im in a Bad Need.. Will I Use Any Greyhound...In Dallas & El Paso.. or Im guessing maybe now Any...Their Overpriced...For Some Places...The One in Dallas just a Let down for a place I once loved..I give Greyhound 3 1/2 Stars out of Lonng Time Loyalty & sentimental love..but I Must Say...Leaving Dallas This past Trip...Although Its Been A Extreme While Since Riding...I Really Enjoyed Our Male Driver... & Didnt mind too much the women..But Most Times Unfortunately.. One Might As Well Expect a little bit of Ignorant or Annoying People..Which is NOT GREYHOUND FAULT.. but The inside Lost Luggage Jobs..is Most Definitely Is..😥
Ive said it before but this time I mean it! They are hoarding ppl across America! Some dont have face mask, the bus is literally over crowded for covid! Theres barely leg room! The restroom is literally on your nose the entire ride! They cut your breaks short because theyre behind in time! Over charged and you sit directly beside some stranger who keeps spitting when he/she talks! The attendance and drivers are very unprofessional and under trained to handle travel customer service! Their attitude will literally make your skin crawl! Im done! You guys an have at it! I dont want to give them 1star! I cant post unless I do
This place Lost My Luggage TWICE.. Ive only been on GREYHOUND 2 times. People are great but this time, nobody wanted to work, no help or anything. I Lost Everything I had this time. Very much disappointed in your system or using C-19 to refuse to go the extra mile. 😣🤯🕳️
Staff is nice except for Rene Fernandez that I believe he is the manager. I took off my mask for a second to talk to my mother who could not understand what I was telling her due to her age. I lowered for a second and he came like a Lion very rude to tell me I need my mask on. I explained to him about the conversation with my mother as I was on a corner where there was no one near me and I swear he saw an opportunity to go off on me. As a manager you need to be understanding and polite. This person have none of that. They are worried about the wear of mask. But the place speaks for itself. Is like they really dont care about the spread of germs in general. Filthy seats. No social distance posters , not a single wipes or hand sanitizer station not even for their employees. but yeah I can not put my mask down for a second. Well maybe he is right. I cant take my mask off because of the place not because of the actual Covid.
I had no problems at this station, I thought everyone was pretty nice and I am African American this is a mostly Hispanic city but I was treated with a lot of respect and they dont harass you to much about your tickets like the other Greyhound stations. The down side is there is a few homeless in there trying to act like they are catching the bus but they always have security and a actual police officer at night so I felt safe but the station is very clean and quiet. You can tell they are nice people but they wont let it get to out of hand.
I have to say, I saw good reviews about this place but.... the staff itself made this a very bad experience, I’m in El Paso Texas , most people here talk Spanish and English, but the “Tickets and Information” staff members don’t know Spanish in any way, an old lady was just asking a question and the staff couldn’t even call someone that could help translating ,luckily my grandma knows a bit of English to help out.Something else that bothered me is the cleanliness, it’s horrible inside the waiting area and also the restrooms.Other than that, make yourself comfortable and have a nice trip 😶
After being stranded on Interstate 10 for 8 hours we were picked up and brought to this Greyhound station. The service from the front desk and the food preparer was a little rude however the young man that took our orders was very polite and friendly! The food was delicious! The boarding of our new bus was very good because we were loaded onto a special bus (just us)
This is a really really great location not only because my father used to work for the company for 35 years but because they wash my car when it seems as if someone stole my keys to my car parked in the parking lot and they didnt tow it for a good 14 hours so I appreciate that to whoever is in charge of the security thing there
I was forced to sit outside in the 40 degree weather for 6 hours waiting for my early morning bus. The animals around the station were threatening. The station does not post hours and seems to be open at the employees leisure. Very disappointed. Go to a different mode of travel. Texas gives Greyhound a bad name.
The seats are very uncomfortable, no curtains or windows nor TV. The bus stop working on roadway and waited almost 2 hours to be able to fix, bad thing was that ir was this long because the driver did not receive quick help. First time using this bus company and it will be my last time. I dont recommend them because of the quality of the buses. The employees were nice and driver patient with some drivers getting a bit annoyed.
I was going to san Antonio tx from Oregon got stuck in cali for 2 days on the free way at a stand still. Get into El Paso TX they tell me I dont need to grab my bags from underneath so I didnt then I get to Big Spring TX and my bags are no where to be found. That was my life in those bags. Lost everything and I mean everything its been over a year and they still havent done nothing what so ever.
I would give this bus station a 0 not its not available. The staff unloaded my special handling bags ( a large backpack and a military duffel bag) and left them in the middle of the bus parking lot unguarded and told me that this is a regular practice. No wonder Greyhound lost 2 duffel bags in 3 trips. I moved them myself to a secure location inside the station. Also, there is no restaurant open on Sunday, and no coffee vending machine available. I was also made to sit in the rear of the bus with my service dog and pressured to wear a mask with my medical condition but I had documentation from the DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE A.D.A. and was allowed to board and ride. Its no wonder that Greyhound is going bankrupt. My bus ticket to Florida from Tucson also cost more than I pay to fly Delta Air Lines. I would have waited to fly but the first seat was not available until Monday and I had to escape the Arizona heat. If you dont have to ride the bus DONT!
Never again will i ride the bus. The first bus driver was horrible he was a hispanic heavy set guy i went in september 24,2020from kerrville tx to el paso tx and this bus driver was very rude and we stopped at a convenience store and he told everyone if you dont hurry up im leaving you. While he was driving he almost fell alseep twice and the bus swirved to the side of the rode. Seats were so close as well. However the second bus driver was an older guy with grey hair he had a new york accent. He drove us from elpaso back to kerrville on september 28,2020. He was very pleasant and a safe driver.
The station was extremely crowded with people standing around everywhere when I arrived on the bus coming from Arizona. I had extra luggage and the employees were not very helpful at all. Everyone and everything seem very unorganized and the place was chaotic. There were disheveled homeless people standing around and thugs. The entire experience made me feel very uneasy and quite frankly, nervous. I really dont want to have to go there again but if I have to travel by bus again, I may not have a choice. The station was dirty looking and I had to use the restroom but I wouldnt dare because I was to uncomfortable to leave my luggage for a second. If you can avoid this station, I completely recommend it.
Greyhound has really stepped up their game this past year. Their charging ports work now(when most didnt). All the bus drivers were on schedule, thorough with baggage checking. Very thorough with instructions, rules and regulations. Prices were fair. I had a much more comfortable traveling experience than before(early 2019). Normal/expected layovers. No overnighters and no absent buses/drivers.Thank you, Greyhound for listening to customers! Youre doing great! Keep up the good work 👌
Worst service ever!! Our bus was delayed we were supposed to leave at 5:25 FOUR HOURS LATER we are finally leaving. NO ONE not even the security guard was able to give us an explanation to why. Another bus came and instead of taking us (who were already waiting for 3hrs) they took the ones after us? Who the hell thought that was appropriate should be terminated ASAP! They had us waiting like a bunch of clueless fools, that short lady with glasses(i think her name is Maria) who i guess was in charge had the worst customer service i have ever seen. she talked back very rudely snapped at people and treated us like somehow it was our fault. She made the whole situation worst. This is my fist and very last time im using greyhound! Not a single apology or compensation for any of us as usually. Save your time and money this place is by far the worst.
I’ve been here 12+ hours waiting for a bus. The rude staff keep on saying they have a driver and will leave in the next hour. I have gone up to ask nicely and they told me they would announce it on the intercom and stop asking since he “doesn’t have a GPS on the driver so I don’t know just wait”. They don’t have the common courtesy to even apologize for anything. I’ve gone through 6 different people trying to figure out when I can leave. It was supposed to be a cheap alternative to flying and so far it’s been 10x more time consuming and stressful. I’m just getting a rental car and taking the loss next time. This place is filthy and it’s packed with delayed buses “schedules” that people are sleeping and laying on the floor because they have been delayed and given the same excuse and there’s absolutely NO SPACE!
First and last time I ever ride Greyhound bus. At first the bus left without me and several other commuters security guard never let us in we never saw bus leave we never saw a bus come but apparently the bus had already left so then I had to leave my depart ure the next day had to pay for a whole new ticket never got a refund I spoke to somebody in customer service they didnt offer anything this is the worst transportation I have ever seen and I live close to Juarez and Ive seen some ugly things but not as bad as the experience I had with Greyhound so I suggest you save your money and rent a car a lot better
Extraordinarily rude customer service. Woman at information and ticketing behaved like we were a bother. We addressed her as maam and were polite despite her behavior. Provided answers to our questions but was patronizing and impatient. We weighed our bags and she announced 20 bucks. I said excuse me? Because I wasnt sure what she had said. She replied only ONE bag is FREE! as though I were trying to cheat her or something. Very unpleasant interaction as a whole. I would not want this person to be representing my company.
They kicked me off the bus and called an ambulance because I was a liability to them. I got heat stroke from having just recently getting it before and the bus being intolerably hot. It was the middle of the summer and we drove through the hottest areas of the country (texas, arizona, southern California) with no AC, no windows down, and a full bus with everyones body heat added to it.They would only stop at convenience stores that never had any real actual food. My things were stolen and I was abandoned. I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to honor the remainder of my trip.
I’m careful at this location! There are a lot of undercover plain clothes law-enforcement officers! Never leave your luggage alone or with someone you do not know. Even if you think you can trust them. Make sure to always wash your hands. Try and have as little physical contact with people as possible when traveling. You never know what someone has or who they are.
The people and staff are friendly when you as the customer understand, my ride broke down in between Los Angeles and Phoenix in the middle of the desert at 11:30pm and waited for a new bus that arrived around 4:30am. The driver said that he told them not to take the tin can but told him to do so anyways. Like I said, I didn’t hold a grudge against the driver but the company.I recommend using another bus company or transportation.
Location looked better kept than the numerous Greyhound stations I have been to in the Southwest but its still not great. Its definitely not passenger friendly. Of course their are T.Vs everywhere but at night (When my bus arrived) The security started checking people in and then left the gate unattended while people just walked right in without being checked in. Very easy for someone to steal and take off out the door. I was standing in the smoking area by the buses and the security guard noticed a homeless man trying to panhandle me and did nothing until people started complaining. Be careful to keep an extra eye out because nobody here will do that for you. Safe travels. -William
Make sure you are exercising your right to bear arms when you come here, especially if coming at night. The side of the building is where the homeless decide to congregate, and one of them yelled at me because I didnt give him change as I went inside to pick up my mom from the station. The other women inside waiting for their rides looked terrified as the same guy was continued yelling at the top of his lungs having a fight with the bench outside. I dont remember there being any security either, and if there was, they need to make them do their jobs. Dont come here if you can avoid it use another company.
Its always good and Bad with GREYHOUND. Sometimes a bus breaks down and they DO NOT replace that route for that day. But atleast at this location there is decent food and accommodations. Some other locations have no food and lock you out of bus stop after departures/arrivals are completed.
WORST EXPERIENCE! Rude drivers bus broke down no mechanics on duty buses in disrepair im surprised theyre still in business. Tjey make sensless stops noone there to pick up or drop off. waste of time gas & energy they need a new way to communicate to bus stops if no passengers they can bypass.
A few years ago i would have given them no stars due to so much theft and they cant replace valuables nor pay for your loss. Lately, they seem to have cracked down in their security. There was only one security worker who is not doing her job. Shes working in Houston, Texas and she thinks her job is to be a greeter and make friends with Mexicans. If you ask her to watch your bags for a couple minutes so you can go pee, shell tell you that is not her job. Had an ex-convict watch my bags and he did well. i was a security guard at age 18 in Key West, Florida. Maybe i was a little cocky on duty, but i did my job well without favoritism when it came to helping a few people who asked for help within my capabilities. That woman is so fortunate that i wasnt her boss.
Honestly service was not to great the security guards were more informed then the people working on the counterThe bus drivers were very nice and kind I did appreciate that forsure they need to work on the Customer service and make sure everyone is on the same page as far as understanding what line and bus to get on .
First time using greyhound and would never use it again. It smelled horrible inside the bus station and the seats are very uncomfortable on the bus. However, drivers and staff were pretty nice and no complaint there. As far as safety is concerned, station in El Paso do conduct bag searches but I went through without getting my bag checked because the security guard stepped out for some reason. I wish they had a metal dectector and better security procedure overall.
The place felt safe which is more than I can say for some of the other stations in Texas. The drivers where professional and so where all of the employees. They helped me with every question I had and went beyond for me. The buses also all left on time and our driver arrived at some stops early so we where able to stretch our legs longer which was nice. Fair warning if your trip takes you to Dallas bus station change it because the Dallas greyhound is horrible and buses always running late by like an hour.
I’ve been using Greyhound for several years now to see my family. It’s affordable and it caters to lower-income people. In my experience, the staff are friendly and the drivers are experienced. The buses, however, are late sometimes. If you use Greyhound, some tips are to travel in the evening or afternoon, that way, most of the passengers will be sleeping, and to get in line early so you can sit in the front of the bus where I think it’s quieter and safer.
I would honestly rate lower if I could. I was witness to a corporation that doesnt care. Its shown in every aspect. From my first driver who shouldnt have even driven the bus due to his inappropriate behavior that was displayed the vulgarity that came out of his mouth towards his own employers was appalling. The El Paso station was full of sick people in the holding area your staff was wearing masks and wouldnt even change gloves when handling items in my bag. The station had the bus schedules displayed and every bus was late except mine I was happy atleast to see things potentiality going the way it should. My bus for todays leg to go home was mismanged to the umpteenth degree. It was known by employees when my driver for my 7:45 trip was sent out on and earlier route around 8 am is what I was told by staff. SO FOR CLOSE TO 12 HOURS it was known that there was not a scheduled driver. Not until 5 minutes before boarding did they say anything and there was not idea of even a time when a driver could come in. I was told maybe by 10 we will have someone i left back with my family cause there was no point to stay at their facility if they could even themselves understand what was happening. Oh also we could not call to see if anything had been scheduled. So I grab my belongings to try to see what was happening with my evening and drive back to your facilty. I had a nice woman call her manager and several drivers who had turned their phones off completely. But they were able to fix the problem. So I left again because it would be another 2 hour wait. I left in enough time but was met on the highway with an unbearable accident that made me late but beyond my control. I subsequently had to schedule a ticket for a later time. Yet was still charged again for my ticket after an entire evening being spent lead around. This problem goes all the way up and this company has much to address. Theres an interesting conundrum Im having, if this is a nationwide service you plan on having you all need to take a step back and learn from your mistakes. Obviously there is SO MANY DISGRUNTLED employees. Figure out what your problem is. Its you not them. Work harder to make a difference. This was disgusting.
On my way to san antonio the bus was late to depart 1 hour and 45 minutes, only one person was working front desk.drivers would come in and out getting all the numbers wrong for the buses couldnt give a heads up where the bus was.place is dirty and disgusting. restrooms horrible.bus takes so many stops at least 8 and every stop is about 15-20 minutes. i dont understand why there so many stops, they dont stop at terminals only gas stations. there is a restroom in the bus for people to use.on my way back a man was throwing up on the aisle and the driver kept driving until people kept telling him.two later the bus gets over heated and made more stops than usual. we had to switch buses from big spring to el paso. when we arrive to big spring stop and switch bus the bus was full no seats available and everybody in the bus smelled horrible.we arrived 2 hours later than normal schedule was suppose to arrive at 12:30 we arrived at 2:30 am.my first experience with greyhound and sure my last.just to save a few bucks, never again.
Elpaso terminal .. Horrible. Discrimination. Rude and no compassion for their passengersWith no passengers no bussiness..My complaint towards( ramon the manager)and (jesse the supervisor) ..we were on a trip from san antonio tx to san diego california for a family funeral. When our bus headinf fron san antonio to el paso the ac broke for 4 hours we our trip became extremely hot . the bus driver was very humble and had excellent customer service . we had stoped to elpaso to refuel i got off with no luggage juat a reboarding pass and my tooth brush. There were a few guys ahead of me with a few luggage that walkes thru security eith not being asked to look in thier bags . they asked me if i had anything in my pocket told him i didnt i lifted my shirt told him i didnt have anything. They askwd me to empty my pocketa i refused told them that the group ahead of me didnt get asked anything .that why did. I get asked . left it at that . for 30 to 40 mins waitinf to reboard no body came to address any issues .. When it came time to reboard security was out waitin. Basically got harrassed and discriminated against by jesse the supervisor . he ended up callin the cops and putting trepassing against me and my wife . it was un professional no compassion or customer service.. I plead with him explained the frustration of how the whole trip from san antonio the ac was hot mid day.. He literally kicked us off the terminal my wife was innocent. We didnt kno anybody or anythinf about that town . we spent unneccsary money on a room and uber ..We have filed numerous complaints with corporate ..They have purchased our tickets back home almost 400$..
Greyhound charges way too much for their poor service. Bathrooms on the bus smell bad! Bathrooms in their facilities are nasty. I feel very bad for the Women and children that go Greyhound. Women have to actually sit on these nasty toliets. Children have to be on a bus far too long, depending on where they are going. Men shouldnt be bothered the way Women and children should be, were Men! Not that we live this way, but we dont have to sit on their toliets. Some workers are rude, disrespectful, and ignorant! As much as they charge, we should be WAY more comfortable taking Greyhound, but arent! Ill NEVER take Greyhound again!
The place is a mess. My bus was supposed to depart at 7:45pm. It is 8:11 and they cant find the driver. Everyone is supposed to wait in line until they call for boarding. People are leaving their suitcases to save their place in line. There were 4 people in front of me when I got in line, now there are 7 more. When I called the station number it routes to customer service. After being on hold for 10 min the phone routes to take a survey.
This guys are useless, I bought a ticket for a person we where going to interview but Greyhound for some reason cancel the trip and I just a text at 11 PM at night. So I called the next day to get a refund and they are telling I need to pay 20 dollars or go to the station. I called a few times more to see if someone could help and they really are a waist of time All. the people I spoke too told me different things, I guess I am not getting the refund.
My bus was 3 hours late THEN 1 hour into the ride, the bus broke down and Greyhound didnt send help. after being stranded for over an hour, I called a taxi because it was clear no one was coming. If it werent for the funny bus driver and the ticket agent being so calm when people were yelling at them, Id give this place the lowest rating possible.
The employees were cold and uncaring. A young girl traveling alone was sitting on the floor crying. I saw 3 employees practically step over her and never even asked if she was ok......... and one of the employees was the security guard. Turned out that she had a problem that took me 5 minutes to help her with. Also the station is in a bad neighborhood so take care when you are there.
This location is clean, organized, and efficient. There arent many things in the way of accommodations for travellers, but there are vending machines and a small cafeteria that rarely seems open. They have bathrooms and places to sit. It is easy to find the gates where you have to board the buses.
Literally asked driver when is the bus leaving and he gave me utter and disrespectful attitude over a simple question when I asked politely, then after I sat in my bus he deliberately was being extremely rude to this disabled lady and not listening to the passengers that she was not normal , unpleasant ride and bad experience here with this this driver.
They got one star because of Lynda the worker in Dallas was extremely kind and the bus driver who trained her and has worked for over 35 yrs. Other than that ...this was my third time and it was the worst ride I wouldn’t wish it on Donald Trump. I hate buses thanks to this experience .Never Ever again.
I used their shipping service and was satisfied with the service at the downtown El Paso depot. Trying to use the online service and telephone customer service was pitiful to say the least. Customer service agents didnt know anything about shipping services, and shipping services didnt Answer 5 phone calls. 4 stars to the depot staff, NO stars for online and telephone services!!
Long trip. Went from a supposed to be 12 hour over night trip to a 18 hour trip... All because they dont plan ahead of time... Making drivers drive a 10 hour trip knowing she didnt have all that driving time available... They need to plan better... It wasnt a one time thing several people on that bus had the same thing happen on their trip not once not twice over three times... Ridiculous
All of the people working for Greyhound need to learn manners and customer service skills. Every phone agent, including the supervisor was extremely rude, patronizing, and unhelpful. Their website only gives you part of the information and they want to charge extra fees for everything. Then to put the cherry on it, the manager at the Greyhound station in El Paso cussed at me. Look into Amtrack or another bus company. Greyhound needs to be put out of business for the many many customer complaints. Look on their Facebook page, you will see nothing but unhappy customers talking about horrible experiences.
Brand new clean environment. Bathroom better than 90% of Greyhound stations. In serious need of addl helpers. Arrived early to pickup e-ticket. Persons in front of me had waited for assistance without avail. With no one in sight I knocked on door signed employee only. After SEVERAL increasingly louder knocks assistant arrived.
NEVER RIDE GREYHOUND! Worst experience ive ever had. All my drivers were rude and disgruntled, my bus was a SERIOUS SAFETY AND HEALTH HAZARD as in the outlets were faulty and the VENTS WERE LEAKING WATER AND FALLING DOWN on the passengers! Not to mention, upon arrival IT WAS COMPLETELY FILTHY. AT one point the entire seat leaned COMPLETELY OVER! At another, a young woman was taken off the bus and we waited for her in the SUN FOR AN EXTRA HOUR AND THE AIR CONDITIONING DID NOT WORK! Because my bus was SOOOO delayed our driver SKIPPED OUR MEAL STOPS AND I WAS STILL AN HOUR LATE PASSED MY ARRIVAL TIME! so lets skip to customer service, I complain as soon as i arrive at my destination and im told THERES NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE I MUST WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING AND CALL. I called the following day. I was greeted with I COULD NOT FILE A COMPLAINT UNTIL ALL THE BUS INFORMATION HAS BEEN ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM WHICH TAKES 24 HOURS. Day 3, I finally call and get a calim number. Day 4 I call back. So Im telling customer service my situation and im being told that because not ONLY DID MY BUS DRIVER NOT REPORT THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TIME DELAY they cannot provide me with a refund. I spoke with the supposwd highest level of customer service and was told there was nothing they could do well. Last $300 they will ever get from me. #NEVERAGAIN time to go public with these videos ans pics smmfh. All i wanted was a REFUND.
This is the worst bus station I have ever been in!! I would not even give it one star. The staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful. If you have more then three hour wait before your bus as in a lay over you have to leave and try to find something to do or a place to stay till your bus leaves. I was put out of the station at ten at night when my bus left at four in the morning!!!!
I was taking some relatives, what a disaster! The employees couldnt tell them at what door to wait for their bus. All the buses were over an hour late and since nobody knew what door to wait at everyone started bunching up like a crowd at a concert. The only security guard there was having a shouting match with a man who wanted to take a knife on board. There was trash on the floor and people sleeping on the floor. At one point a man shoved his shoes in my face asking me if I wanted to buy them. Once the buses finally arrived they decided to merge the passengers from two buses because one bus suddenly broke down. The bus my relatives went into was over crowded, some people had to stay standing. Whether they could do that or not, they did it anyways. Bad service all around.
The staff was lukewarm but ultimately helpful and thats appreciated. I dont understand why Greyhound bothers with a schedule though, since the buses never arrive on time and no one seems to know how long itll arrive. Might as well show it as Boarding: whenever and Depart: after boarding and arrival: when we get there.
I had a 12 hour bus ride to Colorado from here at El Paso and I am never using Greyhound again. No one could tell me where to board my bus, no announcement was made to go on the bus, in fact the only way I found my bus was because I stepped outside and looked for it myself. The staff at El Paso was great as well as the bus driver, but the seats on the bus were very uncomfortable and many people at the Greyhound stations were disgusting. People kept asking me for change, like almost 5 times, and I saw 3 people whom looked high out of their minds or just insane. Terrible atmosphere and very a uncomfortable trip.
The place is extremely dirty! People do not throw away their trash. And also the bathrooms! If you smoke the homeless people wait for you to come out for a cigarette. They ask for money and cigarettes. The area should be fenced off for your patrons safety. I like taking the bus, but will never go back to Greyhound El Paso location. I will fly Southwest Airlines!
One of the scarier bus stations I visited while taking 17 busses on my trip across the USA. El Paso is a rough area. They do have 24 hr security here which is nice and even when getting off a bus to wait, we had to go through the metal detector. I was appreciative, Greyhound took extra safety precautions considering the location.
Front desk service was not only rude. But they didnt even speak english. Had to wait for him to get his manager to actually speak to someone. Staff also needs retraining on their electronic ticket system. Clearly didnt pay attention to what reference numbers are used for what
Greyhound needs to get its act together. Our bus broke down at this station. During my 70 hour bus ride (with 7 transfers), I had power on the bus less than half the time, this includes WiFi..They charge a decent amount for tickets, why are they not regularly servicing these busses?
They took my credit card number took the $206.50 off of it. But I didnt have a ticket & they told me they never got my card number either. But yes they did cause it was taking off from greyhound bus.Im calling the better business bureau first thing in the morning. Never again will I give them my credit card number
Dallas station, dangerous and nasty, staffing is horrible, home office will not talk to you at all, if l could travel another way l would, no bus drivers either, buses late not on time, wifi service is horrible on the buses, only good in the station only, Chicago 95th station is inadequate, if your ticket say 9:30pm it will come at 12:00pm, downtown station no better, its dangerous too! With Chicago police in it, their just standing around, plus overcrowded, some people been waiting for 24 hrs , now they want you to pay for a new ticket in order to get on the bus, some people pay up to $300.00 dollars, now they have to pay again, total of $600.00 dollars you have given them for their mismanagement of its terminals by staffing and its policy( no refund) period!
Two TVs are on full volume on different channels. I sat outside and security said I need to leave but I told him that is not possible without a bus. I sit inside and he frisked me not once but three times. You cannot sit in the arcade unless you are playing games. Thats fair. You also cannot sit in a room thats designated for handicap passengers with no signs that indicate that, anywhere. A greyhound employee informed me and I left that glass room and was frisked once more. This is the worst greyhound terminal in all of greyhound. It doesnt have to be but they tried hard to keep that status.
This place is beyond dirty and beyond unprofessional.A package was taken here to be sent to Arizona. We were give a time it would be on a bus, and when it would be there. Didnt make the bus even though it was promised. Then, getting the package on the next bus was a chore that required too many phone calls. If you need to ship, use either UPS or FedEx
They charged me additional $40 dollars for my deployment bag upon arrival from Iraq!Wrong! Not even airlines charge Soldiers for their deployment bags!Made serveral calls regarding the issue to the customer service and wasted my time.Theft at its best!First and LAST trip with this charlatans!email
Bus traveling through streetport Louisiana has horrible customers service in that particular Bus station, The worker at the front desk is extremely rude. Their snack shop inside is extremely nasty with roaches crawling on the floor and walls very unsanitize. Horrible!
I had a chance encounter with a very courteous and helpful bus driver named John. He provided a wealth of information regarding Greyhound travel. I will recommend this bus terminal to anybody who has an interest in affordable transportation across the southwest, thanks to Don.
They have really improved, I used to hate the bus, was a last resort, was filthy, the plugs didnt work, station was dirty. Now the busses are nice, clean, bathroom works, plugs work, station is clean, only downfall is all the bumbs hit you up for money. A plane ticket was going to cost me $750, bus cost me $90, cant beat that, of course its 4 times as long but if you have the time save some money and take the bus
I honestly will do anything I can to avoid riding greyhound ever again. This experience has been more stressful than it ever should have been, and their customer service at Dallas, El Paso, and by phone was absolutely lacking. Currently my bus is 2.5 hours late, and I asked an employee if we had a status and she said “I just got here so I don’t know about anything before that.” What kind of answer is that in a customer service job? If I had the option for my destination, I would have already left and gone with another company for this trip.
From the 1-800 customer service to the station. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bad attitudes, rude and flat out unprofessional. This may seem like just another review but you all really need to call yourself and see how you get treated!Last time we use this service .

2022-05-31Pleasant, freely felt and clean bus station, comfortable accommodation, with access to socially desirable infrastructure and urban urbanization in one of the central parts of the city

2022-05-30Greyhound is unpredictable. We were almost 3 hours late. The inbound driver allegedly had a heart attack and we had to wait for the substitute driver to come from Juarez, Mexico. Some drivers dont know the routes and waste time stopping at convenience stores that are not even open or places that dont serve food then try to rush everybody back on the bus during breaks to make up time. Small babies are allowed but should not be because of sanitary conditions.

2022-07-05This is far one of the cleanest Greyhound bus station. I was glad to see that there werent people camping out at this location, both inside and outside. It even had a place selling cooked food. The bathroom was decent, with the exception of a light out and no women seat covers.

2022-03-11This bus station was terrible!! My bus was supposed to board at 6:05 pm. It did not board till 7:15 pm!! I would have taken a plane, but there are no planes that fly directly to Ft. Worth, Texas!! :-(

2022-02-28Safe and clean for the most part, but when I was sitting fifteen feet from the restrooms, I could smell urine and feces. They also have a restaurant with snacks, but they hardly ever have anything thats worth eating. Ive been here several times and each time its always been a disappointment with lousy customer service.

2022-05-18Pretty discombobulated. The atms were out of order. The station was small and looked like it could have been clean better than what it was. A lot of the soda and snack machines didnt work either. Especially when you have traveled for a while and havent eaten a thing in a while.

2022-04-08One of the tidier stations where announcements are seldom ever made and the bus schedules are posted on monitors high on the walls. You better be vigilant and alert or you could easily miss your bus. There is a refeshments stand where you can purchase food and snacks to include coffee. This place is always bustling.
