Greyhound Bus Station in other cities:
Second time I used the bus lik this and both times there was and is no internet connection. Im connected yes but I cant get anything to work through the wifi. Keeps saying no internet connection... The is always pleasant. Drivers always great. And prices are awesome. Keep up the good work.
The fact that they have those early routes and have the audacity to be late late late and rude when they finally arrive...I got this ticket for my mother to come out to Texas from Kansas for her granddaughters graduation and it took her forever and a day to get home....ridiculous π....I wish she would have flew but shes terrified to fly soooo...
One of the bigger bus stations,Ive been here twice now. The location of of the bathrooms is kind of tricky(theyre in the food court). Prices here arent cheap, but there are vending machines. There are plenty of places to sit and the staff is very helpful. The bathrooms arent to bad(but they arent to good either)however, there are several stalls to choose from as apposed to just having one or two stall options. I actually really like this bus station(because of all the room and the huge ticket counter).
Be careful of booking anything before 12pm, youβll have to wait in your car before getting picked up. My only real complaint is that you have to be lucky to get a nice driver. The one I just had here in Fort Worth was DISGUSTING. He was rushing other passengers to board and talking to us like we were less than . I can understand wanting to stay on route/on time, but thereβs no reason to treat people w/o respect. Iβll be reporting this driver to management so no one else has to deal with his ugly attitude.
I have been to more Greyhound Bus depots than I ever want to again there Customer Service Sucks. They need a complete overhaul on the ppl they higher for customer servive jobs i wish i had some names to give for the most rude one was in Houston TX. Some big lady with no helpful Or nice CS skills whatsoever she shouldnt be in CS at all
The most horrible experience Ive ever had. Had to sit out in the cold because the bus station is not open 24 hours. The bus never showed up on time. I got sick of waiting in the cold for the bus and decided to take an Uber home. Fort Worth Greyhound bus station sucks!!!!
So far i must say that this has been a very pleasurable experience. I normally would never ride the bus but i had no choice since my DL has expired. Very comfortable and clean hats off to the folks at Greyhound and double that to drivers Ive had, very courteous and kind. And keeping right on schedule.
1001 Jones St, downtown Ft. Worth TX. Is a spotless clean historic transportation hub where every visitor is able to connect no only Greyhound buses, but also local buses. There are 3 railroad companies TRE goes to Dallas, Txexpress goes to a station at the north end of DFW airport, Amtrak and taxi services are always available...
Bus was not clean at all, and the people on the bus were quite sketchy. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR THINGS OUT. Unfortunately the bus was not wel maintained and had a flat tire, NO AC on the bus. Ended up stopped in Wichita Falls with no timing what do ever when we were going to get another bus or get the bus fixed. Driver said it could take 2-9 hours. I had to be at my destination in a timely manner for an event that night. So instead of waiting for the bus I had to call an Uber $200. Turns out while I was 3 hours into my Uber ride the bus had still not left. People without cell phones were stranded in a small town with the closet store 5 miles away from the bus stop. Unreliable and unsafe. Rather fly or drive myself. Donβt waste your time on this bus service.
This is the best and very clean bus station Ive ever been too. The staff here treat you like another number though.I did not know whether to be hateful to them or just ignore them. Thet would not of mattered though. If it were not fir the North American map behind , Im not sure if I would have gotten any answers. But the map being there I did receive answers. Thank You Map, not the staff.
I was a passenger traveling thru,& had a 10 minute stop.I used the bathroom, & it was clean & not overcrowded because I believe there are 2 sets... A mens & womens on each side of the terminal. The run-thru didnt leave any lasting impression, and for me, thats a VERY good thing!! If a facility is sub-standard, I am apt to notice & make both a mental note as well as let the operator know the problem issues.
Very big station for both local and Greyhound all in one place, but very few electrical outlets available and vending machines are very expensive. They are strict about being inside without a reason, which is good and bad. Greyhound counter employees somewhat rude and unknowledgeable, but local bus drivers and workers are great
What can you say about a Bus Station other than the obvious. The Dallas Greyhound Bus station is in downtown. Its an older station so things are not as new as one build recently. The inside could use a new coat of paint. The staff was very friendly. And of course, there were the obvious Homeless and pan handlers outside. Thats typical of most Bus stations. Other than that, its not too bad.
The staff that I ran across was helpful, the place itself is nicely modeled and a bit of what you would expect of a greyhound bus station. I didnt run into any problems though if I ever return and do run into any problems I will come back and edit this review. I do have to say that the bus driver I had was extremely strict but from my experience a few of them are like that. So dont expect them to be cuddly and lenient about things or even friendly at times. They mostly want to get you to and from a place as efficient as possible.Another tip is they will tell you not to ask them questions while they are driving for safety reasons which is understandable. If you want to know where you are or how close just look at Google Maps from your location to the next stop and this will tell you. (Google Maps App).
Cleaness needs to be addressed. Crowded, failing to adhere to Federal Guidelines in regards to COVID-19. Customer services friendliness need to be addressed. Prices are acceptable/decent within range of other similar businesses offering the same services to the general public.
If I could give .01 stars, I would. The bus was over an hour late and I did not make my connection in Dallas. The station is full of homeless people and looks like it has not been cleaned in decades. Once the bus finally arrived, I boarded the bus which smelled strongly of urine and had several individuals who were obviously on some sort of illegal substance. When I finally found a seat in the back, I had to listen to a woman cursing out her toddler and slapping him in the head. Awful customer service, employees cursing in front of you, horrible service. NEVER AGAIN! BUYER BEWARE!
Bus was delayed for 2 hours at this station due to bad weather which is understandable, but the Hispanic guy at the counter was rude and seemed to not what to help me and would not have informed of the bus delay had I not gone to ask 10 min after the bus was suppose to arrive. I understand things happen but greyhound has bad communication when it comes to bus delays its very frustrating especially when youre traveling long distances. Why are the buses always late coming to this station???? Not very good customer experience
The station itself is a nice facility, but the Greyhound service sucks! Ive never ridden when the bus wasnt several hours late. The lateness has caused me to miss connections to other buses, and its almost impossible to plan out your itinerary with that kind of service!
Crawling to your destination would be better than taking a grey hound. The bus I was supposed to get on was delayed for 5 hours. We were supposed to make a transit in Dallas but that bus had already left so we had to wait there 3 more hours. I missed a whole final that I canβt retake because of how disorganized they are.
Update: 5-29 .....Bus late again. No security, which allows people waiting on buses to be approached by transients begging for money. Arriving to check in, I was the second in line. Took desk personal a hour to attend to the military man in uniform that was the first in line. Very rude security guard, rude employees. Given my first time riding on Greyhound, the bus was 2 1/2 hours late. Bus driver was rude to all customers. After transfer of bus drivers, they left a customer behind. Buses need a makeover, dirty and screws coming out of hinges. Will only ride again if its my only choice and if its an emergency. Lots of transients in and out of station.
ACTUALLY ROAD THE TRAIN....THE BUS ( BOTH CITY AND GREYHOUND) SHARE A BUILDING WITH LITE TRAIN AND AMTRACK. NICE PEOPLE CLEAN AND SAFE. SOME HOMELESS PEOPLE BUT WERE NO PROBLEM. WELL PATROLED BY SECURITY. IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL SOUTHERN US...THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO START.
Witness someone working at this station being very kind and patient with an autistic gentleman. The other workers were trying to rush the guy because it was raining and he had a checked bag trying to bring it carry on. He was concerned about his possessions. The one young gentleman working there told everyone to remain patient with the traveller due his spectrum and allowed the autistic gentleman time to make a decision about placing his large bag under the bus stow area. Making the traveller more at ease. Kudos to this employee and the station as well
DONT USE THIS COMPANY! I never even made it on the bus. A friend found his self in trouble in another town. I purchased a ticket for him. The ticket was $30 I paid $20 because I wasnβt there. He arrived at the station 3 minutes late. He watched his bus drive off. Greyhound refused to help. Just out of the money and heβs still stuck in this town. They are cold and heartless.
One of the more easily accessible Greyhound stations by far. There is some parking so that is a nice feature as well. its nice that it has vending machines and a common area for the passengers waiting for their ventures.if you are traveling with Greyhound be sure to check your ticket time and the hours of operation especially if you are getting your tickets from will call. You will need to be there an hour and advance to print your ticket to board for your journey
My elderly mom was finally able to get on her bus which was an hour late. However as she tried to get onto the bus, 3 men watched as she struggled With a carry on bag in one hand and holding to the rail with the other while attemptingto step up onto the bus. Not the driver or the two baggage handlers offered to help. Neither did the bus driver offer to place a step for her to step up on. I had to walk up to the bus place my hand at her back just In case she fell backward. When I call her later to check on her, she said the bus driver never address them and just took off. She said he also became angry and yelled at the passengers after he fail to give instruction to the passengers at one of the stops and they began to get off the bus. Rude, Unprofessional. If greyhound want to find this driver I have that info.
This is a large Greyhound station in Fort Worth Texas. With all the hustle and bustle of being in a downtown metropolitan area and adjacent to the local Amtrak station they keep this place pretty clean and the Greyhound employees are usually pretty helpful. Is also Subway location within the station which makes it great if you have a layover there I need to get something to eat.
Im here waiting for my bus since 7PM and the bus was supposed to arrive at 7:55PM. I asked the personal about my bus and they said that it was gonna get late 2 hours and 30 minutes. Its 12:30AM and the bus isnt here, the offices are close and nobody gives me info. I talked again to a guy and he just laughed and told me he was gonna change my ticket so I would get at the one the arrives at 1:25AM... BS! Lost my day here and now Im stuck here for another hour and 10 hours to get to my destination.I didnt want to get an airplane cause its expensive but I lost my time for trying to save somo money. Thanks to the guy that changes it but awful service and really rude security officers.UPDATE: 6:00AMThe bus that I was gonna take at 7:55PM came at 5:30AM the next day. And the driver didnt want to take me because my ticket did not match the bus number, even it came 10 hours later and it wasnt my fault.UPDATE: 8:30AMAny bus arrived, had to ask for my refund that they said its gonna take a least 4 weeks for me to get my money back. Awesome!
Always a terrible experience. No one is ever at the front counter to help customers or to inform of any delays. Staff seems to be uninformed of any pertinent information to bus routes and therefore does not communicate with travelers about any delays or incoming buses. Had a delay of about six hours due to overbooking seats and none of the staff could tell us at what time the next bus would come and take us to our destination which was to say the least, a very frustrating experience. If I were informed, I couldve stayed the night at a family members house and taken the next bus in the morning. Definitely going to try other bus lines or other forms of transportation next time.
Homeless people camped out in station, the two buses that came were full of what appeared to be homeless illegal immigrants and it stunk to high heaven, nobody was getting off so theres no seats even though I was supposed to leave 4 hours earlier so now I have to wait a couple more hours for the next bus and hopefully theres a seat available. It doesnt appear that company cares when youll get to your destination, and if you want them to take you there you may be stuck waiting for days. The worst part is its only 30 minutes from Fort Worth to Dallas and I cant even get out of Fort Worth
I would give them 0 star if I could. I had a round trip from Fort Worth, TX to Austin, TX and BOTH TRIPS WERE DELAYED FOR 7-8 HOURS. Their employees were rude to us, we were taken on different buses and trips were reschedule multiple times. It was horrible, unbelievable. They told me to call their customer service. Called their customer service and every time they made me wait and made me call back 3 TIMES for NOTHING! Im beyond furious. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANOTHER TICKET FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
DONT!!!!If I could give Greyhound as a company -1000 stars I would. They abandoned us 300 miles from home without explanation. I booked a trip from Fort Worth to Lubbock and it is LITERALLY the biggest mistake of my entire life. The 1st bus was 1hr late, in deplorable condition and just yuck. There is a transfer stop in Big Springs ( this city DOESNT have an airport, Uber, Lyft, public bus etc btw so if you get stuck here may God be on your side) so around 8 pm we stopped in Big Springs for a 30 min layover to board the next bus that would take us to Lubbock. At 2am the next morning this magical bus still hadnt arrived (6 hours later) and we were finally told by the useless rep guy at the Big Springs stop that it was cancelled! Mind you he had told us (at 8pm that night) it was on its way and would only be about 2 hours late. I had called Greyhound customer service myself 2 hours prior to this and they too said it was delayed until 2am. It didnt show up and no one would explain why. Anyway I asked around and found out there would be a Greyhound bus going to Dallas but they refused to call the driver to put us on so we could leave Big Springs. The only bus/form of public transportation coming in/ going out was Greyhound but surprise surprise the rep closed the building at 2am and told us to stand outside until the other Lubbock bus came which would be 8pm the next night (16 hours later)! Long story short after several questions, lies and rude uncaring exchanges with their customer service we were forced to exit the building so he could go home and luckily, a Greyhound bus going to El Paso arrived soon after. The driver refused to carry all ten of us at the station despite having approx 18 empty seats, argued back and forth with everyone and finally decided to pity us and take us to El Paso ( maybe 344 miles in the opposite direction of Lubbock!) and it was a take it or leave it offer because he was doing us a favor -his exact words. To cut this short is hard but basically I got to El Paso after 6 hours driving on Mr. Almightys bus and had to beg the (no surprise) extremely rude and uncaring reps in El Paso to give me a ticket to go back to Fort Worth. This bus was 1 hour late again and left El Paso at 10 am. What was supposed to be a 9 hour trip according to my ticket turned into 12. I arrived on a bus that stunk to the heavens because someone decided to torture everyone by using the bathroom even though we made like six different 20 min stops along the journey for this specific reason. Got to Fort Worth at 10:15 pm last night and today they refused to refund both the trip that the bus didnt show up for and the trip scheduled to take me back from Lubbock a few days later. Asked them to give the seat to a random person so the money wouldnt go to waste, they refused that as well. Im so frustrated, exhausted and disgusted by Greyhound as a whole I had to rant which I have never done before. Do yourself a favor and take a plane or swim or walk or grow wings and fly if you must. DO NOT use their service in Texas because they do not care if they leave you in the middle of nowhere and thats dangerous. I warned you! End of story.
Arrive early, in case a mistake was done to your travel arrangements, and to be among the first ones in line. This Greyhound station is clean and nice. It is connected to Amtrak, the T (local Fort Worth bus system), Enterprise, and Subway. The restrooms are clean, and you can definitely sleep in peace while waiting for your bus. Again, I emphasize on arriving early. This will guarantee that you will notice any errors, and give you enough time to fix it. I have seen so many people trying to fix their mistake 15 minutes before their departure and sometimes miss the bus.
This is the absolute worst experience Iβve ever had. Iβm Stuck in another town already 3 hours late and no one can tell me a single thing about when the next bus is coming. How can you not know anything?! I called the 800 number and they said to ask the Amarillo station Iβm stuck in who knows nothing. How is that βcustomer serviceβ. I have never been this disappointed with a service spending my hard earned money. I will never ever use Greyhound again.
Ive had several several bad trips with this bus company and I dont know I think theyve lost my luggage did was full of brand new clothes I mean Ive had several terrible trick with this company and man I dont know it wasnt for them being the only bus company in the US to travel on I would never use them
This also serves as the ITC/Amtrak/TRC stations. So, its very busy. Full of people and full of homeless people. It has an overpriced Subway in it, as well as vending machines. The Greyhound station sells snacks, too. The benches are all hard. The people that work there are usually polite, if you are to them. Be prepared for lots of people panhandling. Its the place that most homeless people gather because lots of travelers stop there and they know theyll get good money. The station is the same station as the train that will take you to Dallas. Its also very close, walking distance, to great hotels downtown.
The service doesnt seem to actually care about boys customers. And the travel time that you get isnt when you leave just when you need to be ready for another 10-20 min wait. And good luck getting to a location on time with this place. I was mental to leave at 4:30 pm but bus came at 5:00 to pick us up. And didnt leave till 5:30 just because they couldnt figure outhow to Tetris luggage into a chubby hole.
Second time I have bad experience with this company. While checking in my luggage, the guy told me my bus will be late late . Disnt realize he meant 7 to 8 hours late. He told me this after I waited for 4 hours. I pressed him on why its late and he told me its because they do not have a driver. Wtffff. What kind of company schedules a trip without a driver or backup drivers? Some other company needs to come in and take their business. They are terrible.
The website said ticket was $56.00 person on phone told me ticket was $56.00 I came to get my Ticket and this thieving person charged me $112.00 refused to give me a cash receipt said my Ticket was my receipt.... I plan to file a formal complaint with the company.... This is pure lunacy... Greyhound is definitely on my list of companies I will no longer do business with
Greyhound is terrible. Was suppose to catch a transfer in Dallas from Fort Worth. The bus never showed and the one sent to pick us up had little to no information on what was going to happen. Obviously we missed the transfer and the next bus scheduled to go where we were suppose to go was 10 hours later. This company doesnt accommodate you for wasting your time. They want you to just eat your cost and time and say thank you while doing it.
Ok. Avoid greyhound like the plague. BUT... If you HAVE too, this was probably the best greyhound station I have come across. Staff was actually friendly and spoke to me like I was an actual human being, and security kept it from feeling like a mugging was imminent. Wish greyhound cared more for their other locations.
Basic setup. Thankfully there was television entertainment as well as outlets to charge devices. Security was on point to make sure that it was travellers and not transients that were in the station. Of course sharing the building with other transportation services allowed for some breaches in security. Have a few restaurants nearby that service the station
Terrible trip! My trip was scheduled to be a seven hour journey. The driver kept getting lost. Took us 9 hours to get from Dallas to Houston. Insanity. Everyone on the bus was frustrated. And the driver was rude from the beginning of the trip. I asked him for his name, but he refused to tell me. π
Greyhound staff is always pleasant and helpful. The busses are clean, and the wifi is operational and works wonderfully. A REAL BLESSING TO HAVE GREYHOUND!!Without you guys, people like me would be stuck in one place.Thank you for keeping me free, with cheap fares and delightful service! :)
They have lots of security there. Tons of people hanging around asking for money. Not a good area how ever security seemed to be doing their job. I checked in online. They sell food there if your hungry. I would still use them again. Would be a higher score if it wasnt a bad area.
Not the best with punctuality but it got me from A to B. I am most grateful. Not the greatest as far as temperature but again I got from A to B without having to drive. The bus driver was nice and I was on a route from Houston, but we made stops at Austin, Waco, Fort Worth and 2 Dallas stops. Overall, not too shabby.
Well, my gf and I went to purchase the tickets we had reserved like two weeks ago for the amazing price they had. We get to the ticket counter, only to find out that since we only reserved them that we had 48 hours to purchase them. Our bus ended up booked for the day we wanted to leave, however our clerk was amazing and not only got us on the bus for the same time the following day, but instead of charging us $450 she was still able to charge us $178 which was our original price. We went from panicky to excited with the snap of a finger. I forgot her name but she is a really short hispanic lady who was super nice in helping us out. Now we can finally go on our vacation without worries.
This station is usually clean and the atmosphere is comfortable. I would give more stars but everytime Ive been to this station (which is twice so far) the bus coming from Dallas is always late. Like an hour to 2 hours late. Idk whats up with the Dallas station but its starting to really suck big balls everytime I have to catch a bus that comes from there. Both times the weather conditions where normal, dry, and clear. No major traffic or accidents. I just dont understand the hold up.
I need to Lodge a complaint. First youre advertisements are complete false. The bus is filthy, the restroom on the bus is disgusting just deplorable. I hated going in THERE. Im not understanding why they cant update to the inside of the bus or are your customers not worth it.
The worst experience I had with the service. The bus is delayed and they take no responsibility for that. The resting area is dirty and homeless people are moving here and there. The staffs are rude and now I am stuck here for 10 hours with no place to even sit. Pathetic. 0 stars and not recommended.
The buses never leave or arrive on time, the ticket agents and drivers are ultra-rude, and the buses have uncomfortable seats and a filthy bathroom. I highly recommend booking a flight or train ahead of time, for itll either be the same price as Greyhound or cheaper. How this company remains in business is beyond me.
The ride wasnβt uncomfortable, however the driver got lost in Austin and passengers had to direct him back to the station. This was about a 20 minute delay. As a result of that delay, we then were delayed between Waco and Temple. We ended up at our destination over an hour late.
You have left our kids stranded at your Dallas bus station because the bus picking them up in Fort Worth was late. Now they are in the black lives matter mess because there were no connecting busses to where they were going until 10 pm. They have been in the Dallas bus station since 4 pm. There is no way for us to even drive there to get them due to the town being shut down. There is no way we will ever take greyhound again. I will also make sure my friends dont take them either. They do NOT care about their customers.
Station gal was totally rude and had to wait for 3 hrs for my bus. Late 3 hrs is absurd. Gal was not helpful, I had paid her printer didnt work. I was given the wrong code and number then was in hold outside because the gal would not let me hang around she said. Not happy
Not that it matters because Im sure they know there scores suck!!! I decided not to go into details all I can say is Greyhound needs to step it up! Dirty outdated buses, unpleasant staff (there were a few nice ones), unprofessional drivers who deliberately leave passengers stranded because they take too long going to the restroom, the list goes on. Word of warning...cabs companies took customers for granted and now look, Uber and Lyft have practically shut them down!
I will never purchase nor ride greyhound again I had trouble purchasing a ticket on line they made some bogus excuse saying they dont accept prepaid cards, no where on the site does it say they dont accept prepaid cards the customer service rep told me to just use another card as if I had another card I depended on greyhound in an emergency situation and the discrepancy was on there end and they left me high and dry. I called into the fort Worth station to explain what was going on and the women who answered treated me like I was nothing she ended the conversation saying we dont care about the Web fares and hung up in my face.
My neice got stuck in Jackson Mississippi for over 6 hours because of a headlight that was out and they could not get maintenance to come fix it. Which means she missed her connection in Dallas and now I have to go to Dallas to pick her up because I cannot get her until Sunday for the witchita falls pick up. Noone answered phones and no help from anyone. They did not feed her cause she ran out of money. Should be getting her at 2 in the am but cant. Now is a 4 hour drive to go get her from my home. So 8 round tripI will never go grey hound again. Worst company ever!!!!!!!
Horrible bus was an hour late upon arrival seats are small and over packed buses for $200 one way ticket my luggage was lost during my layover in Dallas we switched buses the first stop after Dallas the Bus broke down so we switched buses which was already full thats how my luggage got lost and no one is helping me Im 8 months pregnant and my wallet and medicine were in my carry on which had to be put under the bus since it was so packed I would rather hitch hike then travel on greyhound
Its public transportation in the great U.S of A... I get it...low expectations...(I travelled Amtrak many many times over the period of about 6 months not too long ago.)But I called simply to verify that the address that I have (it shows as package delivery or something like that online) is the right address that I need to be heading to to pick up my fiancΓ© (Id rather him not be sitting at the bus stop waiting for me while Im waiting for him at the wrong address) and right after I asked my question I got put on hold. I have no idea what Im on hold for or if I was transferred or what... but Ive currently been on here of for 19 minutes and counting...Seriously though?!? What the heck?!? Its a simple inquiry folks! Come on!(Has anyone had any success with reaching greyhound at a corporate customer service number?!)
The first two times I went from Little Rock to Seattle, took the Greyhound until I found out that taking a plane was cheaper and I was there in 7 hours instead of sitting on a cramped bus for 50 hours. I will never ever in my life take a Greyhound again unless its to the same state
If greyhound commits an error that warrants financial compensation for the passenger, be prepared to document everything at that moment. Take videos and asks other passengers to complain as well. Representatives at corporate, specifically βDuneβ badge number 7980, will attempt to intimidate you through sarcasm, insults and a barrage of other iniquitous tactics in order that you accept an injust conclusion. Get statements from workers and the time of the incident and record everything. Good luck with greyhound. Megabus or spirit are more reliable economic forms of transportation.
My grandson was traveling from Fort Worth, stops in Lubbock, and driver walked off bus causing a 5 hour delay,no compensation, rude staff, horrible situation for 18 yo first experience traveling on a 29 hour trip to Grand Junction CO! He said all the stops were dirty and Denvers was the very worst. States he hopes to never ride a bus again.
STOP NOW DO NOT BUY TICKETS TO TRAVEL WITH THIS PLACE! I had a ticket from dallas to Guadalajara Mexico and I am now stuck 10 hours away with my little daughter and wife and no bus to take me to my destination. The most terrible business I have ever encountered. I will never travel with greyhoud again!
One of the more terrifying trips of our lives. Simple trip from Fort Worth to Dallas enroute to MDA in Houston: Luggage Lost in Dallas; accosted by mentally unwell or con people while on bus to Dallas---sizing us up because we are senior citizens. When first entered bus, signs say Handicapped up front---bus driver had to make druggies move. Enroute to Houston, druggies all in back of bus and locked toilet from inside so toilet unavailable. Druggies ganged up on bus driver to make unplanned stop. Arrival at Houston Greyhound station horrifying: hostile druggies all around station throwing rocks at cabs and shouting obscenities: we had to be escorted to cab by police. Cab driver accosted by druggies and had to give one money just so we could get away---then cabbie gouged us in the fare: NEVER take a Greyhound bus!!! Drivers are excellent---clientele are DANGEROUS.
Never taken grayhound βbuses. But in the same location as the Fort Worth Transit Authority intermodal transfer center in down town. Also located here is the Trinity Railway Express, also the Amtrak ticket office and loading and departure platform. There is a Subway sandwich shop located in this building if you have a lengthy stop over or if you allotted enough time for a meal or light snack. The restrooms are large well lit and very clean. It is nonsmoking but you can step outside βthe doors 25 feet and light up.
Walk to Sundance Square from here to see Center of Ft Worth nightlife and daytime activities. About 6 blocks up and 6 blocks to your right. Meaning. From the front door. Facing straight. Walk straight 6 blocks. Take right. Walk 6 blocks. You will run i to 4 blocks worth of anything you want. Downtown ft worth is special. Enjoy!!
My girlfriend rode the bus from Tulsa oklahoma. When she arrived in Dallas the people were very rude was throwing the luggage around and yelling at them to get on the bus.when she got to Ft.Worth no luggage. Couldnt get no help finding it she was just passed off like she was unimportant.medical papers, clothes some meds were in the suitcase caused her stress and her face broke out. Day 3 noone still has called her about her luggage. She said this is the worse experience she ever had traveling. We are going to report this to the BBB and the attorney Generals office. Greyhound bus is horrible.
The staff Gaudlupe Montana is a lier my bus was in a wreck in Colorado so I was delay two hours missed my transfer end up fort Worth Gaudlupe basically said my fault stuck me lobby for 24hours I called corporate complain and found out Gaudlupe lied Said she offered me a hotel and a refund she stated I denying the Greyhound accommodation short story we called the Greyhound corporate and better business bureau of Texas in Dallas ...idiot liers
Used this service fairly regularly now. tough baggage rules in operation - I paid 35 USD for overweight luggage, fare for one passenger with one baggage is 27 usd for that trip! but for carrying just one luggage but exceeds 75kg by just a kilo, I paid my normal fair plus another 35 USD - tough to swallow.
Worse experience i have ever had. dont even know where to begin. first of all the buses smell horrible, when you call for info they act like they dont get paid to help you out. come to other buses is about the same price so if your thinking on traveling anywhere with this bus line i highly recommend go spend your money somewhere else!!1
The station in Dallas is filthy nasty, and staff and service is very mean to its customers, retrain your staff, plus Greyhound main headquarters in Dallas dont or wont talk or help you at all ( claims, lost luggage, misprinted tickets, etc) if they make a mistake on your tickets you have to pay again for that ticket, (no recourses period). I paid $160.00 for a one-way ticket twice, when l called the home office they told me, it was my fault, not their agents, hell l didnt print the ticket up, they did, it was all the money l had, l rode for 16hrs ( hungry and thirsty) l am a elderly lady, plus they lost my luggage that they refused to refund me or look for it, plus they damaged my e-scooter that l am having repaired as l write this post. Wish l could go Megabus !
This terminal has always been one of my favorites, but this time they didnt have any drivers or a bus ready, we ended up with a 30 hour layover , and while there the station janitor jumped one of our passengers for walking on a wet floor threatened him with bodily harm , the mgr didnt even reprimand him , and when I finely couldnt stay awake and dozed off for a few minutes someone stole my new glasses right off my face
Is there a way to give 0 stars? because thats what this place deserves. First of all they have like 2 people working the ticket desks and the people are CLUELESS. This woman wasted almost an hour of our time because she kept getting confused and the manager, Aida Penedo, did nothing to help the situation. In the end, it turned out that they couldnt even help with the situation and it would have to be handled at the station in the other city.
I asked if there was a place to store my belongings and the desk lady told me they didnβt. Which they do at $8 per item...and like always the bus was late. Itβs a bit confusing and nobody scans your ticket so thereβs that uncertainty if youβre even in the right bus.
Absolutely awful. I was able to talk to one person in Ft Worth, Derrick, who was extremely rude and clueless. But that was typical of everyone I was actually able to speak to (with the exception of a man in Texarkana; he was great). The people in Dallas were even worse which is hard to believe. Its a creepy place made worse by incompetent staff. Greyhound needs to train their people in something called customer service. Awful. Awful.
Y give 5 star the driver is so raises just because talk spanish dont what you to talk this driver dont have life o sad please is you are hispanic dont get in this line is very sad si eres latino no te subas a estis bus por mismo precio puedes agar vuelo de avion aqui son rasistas no te dega ni q ables

2021-08-23This is our first time taking a train ride, and it was awesome! My husband and I purchased a sleeper room for our enjoyment. We had tickets to San Antonio Texas from Fort Worth Texas. The rooms are very roomy, and having our own bathroom and beds to relax was a HUGE plus for us!!We also had all meals included with our purchase of the sleeper room!! That was a HUGE plus also. When you have your meals you could either eat in the private dining room that is only for the customers that have purchased a sleeper room or you can take it back to your room. Also the 1st drink πΈ(alcohol)is also included with your meal the next ones are on you. πOur attendant was very helpful and was always checking in on us to see if we needed any assistance. We also was able to board about 45 minutes early π that was great πI would definitely recommend taking the train if you want to see the countryside and you want to just sit back and relax and enjoy your ride.

2021-12-22Located at the Fort Worth Central Station in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Its a clean, generally quiet station. This is where you can catch Greyhound buses, Amtrak trains, Trinity Railway Express (TRE) trains, TEXRail trains and Trinity Metro (local) buses. Ticket Agents are available for each. Check their websites for hours of operation.

2022-06-30Restroom a little dirty but staff was very helpful has a few taxis outside the building waiting to give rides a couple homeless people but not as bad as houston. Plenty of security. During the day it appeared safe.

2022-04-12This is a clean station. There is a good amount of artwork on the walls outside. This is also where the Amtrak train leaves from. Thereβs a cute little robot that monitors the station. All of the photos that I have attached are different. Zoom in to see the detail. Itβs amazing!

2022-05-25If you are considering buying a bus ticket with greyhound, I sincerely ask you to rethink it. You are better off buying a ticket from a Mexican bus line, than this one. Just recently purchased 3 tickets, 545am pick up time. 8 passengers were on site and present at the 545am pick up time, only for the bus to arrive and be told they had no seats available on the bus. How does this happen? Additionally, Dallas and fort worth office do not open until 12pm, so if you have any problems you will not find help, period. Even after 12pm, go ahead and try giving them a call and nobody will answer. Save yourself and your loved ones the trouble and hassle. Go with a Mexican bus line.. or any other but this one. God bless.

2022-05-27Combination Amtrak, Greyhound and local transportation Center. Great security, friendly staff in Amtrak booth. Ample benches, restrooms and vending machines while you are waiting. Limited outlets to plug in chargers for phones.

2022-07-10I attempted to get quotes on bus fares, I was rudely accosted by several employees. I left without getting answers, maybe the employees had something happen and thats why they acted the way they did. All in all, I still like Greyhound and they help folks who are traveling.

2022-07-10For being a small counter in a major terminal you would think that this Greyhound area is more prepared to take care of its customers one lady argued about her luggage its just not just not a good place to be if you know you got to go somewhere

2022-04-18If youre going to go to the Greyhound station make sure you do your homework Sundays they are closed and also in Fort Worth Texas it has changed a little bit Amtrak and Greyhound and Enterprise oh and one location. Make sure you have your cab drivers numbers ahead of time it was very difficult for a couple of passengers to get cab rides other than that its a great place
