I dont have any ,I have never gone to see the animals there ,but where I work I have to go get some product for my company and I can see the dogs barking and barking some are pretty in color some arent .Their place there is clean and fence around they have a shad to nap ,water and they are feed .Some day I will go visit the place .
Kind people. My poor kitty peed on their floor and when I told them that she was scared they just waved me away. Thank you ☺️. I paid in advance to get our cat s spayed and neutered and they are so back logged that they still havent called me to come in and get it done! Meanwhile Girly cat has had 8 more kittens in our house and the landlord wants 200 dollars (per cat) for deposit for all the cats in the house and I dont have it by the first of the year I am getting kicked out of here! March 1st and I have just been paying the rent and praying for the best!
I was extremely disappointed in this place. I found a kitten in need of medical attention out back of my work. So as soon as they opened I was there to try and get the poor little one some help. Which humane societys I usually trust. When I went in to try and help this little one I was asked if I had an appointment. Of course I didnt I had no idea that I had to have one. The lady at the front wouldnt help at all. Saying they only do things by appointment. I get that but this kitten was in need of immediate medical attention. Instead I was given a list of rescues in the area which no one answered or there was no phone number. I understand they have procedures and what not but to turn away a helpless kitten on deaths door because of not having an appointment is not right.
Really saddened to see how the staff interacts with people trying to adopt a pet. we looked through a window labeled new mom in action and when we looked through the window a women walked over and snapped get away from the window we could interrupt just very rude! no please or thank you, just rudeness. When in reality why wouldnt you block the window and not post new mom signs if you didnt want people to see the néw puppies. All that secondary to how incredibly rude we were treated. I thought the purpose of this place was to find forever homes for these fur babies. so sad
Took my cat to get her shots in January at the low cost clinic and one of the vet practitioners was extremely rude to the animals. I had scheduled my cat to be spayed and when the time came they charged me twice because they couldnt find any records of my previous visit. Which is likely because the clinic events are badly managed. I was able to get a refund. Fast forward to May Im trying to get records showing that she got her shots but yet again they cant seem to find my info. I sent an email a week ago, no response. I called yesterday and was told theyd call me back but never did. I rarely if ever get upset with service, but this place was just extremely unorganized and lacked communication skills. If you want to avoid unnecessary problems go to literally any other shelter/clinic
This place is a joke. The people are very friendly dont get me wrong. The pets are beautiful. I was ready to adopt, thought I found the right pet, then was told the price would be about $175.00 possibly more because of the size of the pet. Are you serious??? Its not like you are over run with adoptees.Thank you for your words, however all adoption agencies give those services and dont have those fees, a good home should be whats important not getting rich. Im sure those how offer their services do it for free, most do.
Absolutely the nicest staff and volunteers here. I felt very welcomed from the moment I entered their facility. Their facility was clean and well maintained. You could immediately tell that all of the animals up for adoption were loved and well cared for by everyone there. The adoption process was simple and straightforward. I adopted two beautiful kittens. Both were spayed and neutered and had all of their initial shots. They were also both microchipped. I highly encourage everyone looking for a new furry family member to come visit this shelter and adopt here. We need to empty the shelters! Also, check their wish list on Amazon and make a donation by ordering an item or two off of it. It is simple to do and will mean so much! God bless the staff and volunteers here for all they do for these animals!
The staff here was awesome in coordinating our adoption of our baby dog! The place is surprisingly large and has a huge (fairly new) outoor area with large pens for the dogs with tons of energy. The whole staff is really great, and were really helpful on keeping us updated on our dogs status. My only quam is that the clinical staff did not have our pup wash (or even rinsed) before nutering him, so he was really dirty from the shelter for an additional 10 days in our apartment (couldnt wash him because of dissolving stitches)!
If i could give them 10 stars I would. I am in love with this place! I quiet often visit with my boyfriend to just see the dogs. The staff is so friendly and excited to have people come see the dogs. I personally cannot adopt right now therefore I go to visit. I am going to become a volunteer once I save up money! The facility is the cleanest rescue I’ve ever seen. All the animals have toys which is great because when in cages they need something to help stimulate their brain. They work with the dogs and have so much information on each one. Cat get free time and they have so many things to climb and play around with. It’s heartwarming to see the dogs/cats get excited about staff. They know that they are in good hands. Yes the adoption fee is quite pricey but you can find a full breed dog for half the price!
The Staff lied about not having seen my dog Carlos, and saying he was never there. When In fact they had adopted him out a few days earlier. Someone who promised she would be able to take care of our pup until we were back on our feet (our neighbor had it out for him simply because he was a bully breed, and kept calling animal control on him, just because of that simple fact. So we thought the safest thing to do, since we were still getting things ready to be able to move into our own home would be to have someone care for him, so our neighbor wouldn’t try to have him taken to the pound and killed) Dumped him at their doors, he was at Gulf Coast Humane society for a few months, and that whole time the person who promised to care for our pup kept telling us he was doing great with her (which was a lie, cause she dumped him). When she stopped all communication, we went over there and Carlos was nowhere to be seen, and she became hostile. Not even telling us what she did with him or if he was ok. We had searched for several months going to shelters on multiple occasions to see if he was there. Then finally after 11 months a kind soul who had seen our posts showed us that Gulf Coast Humane Society had adopted him out. It was a whole ordeal. And yes I know it was stupid of us to entrust our pup to someone else, while we were going through things, but we were desperate cause our neighbor hated him, and wanted him dead. And we had no one else to turn to...
Very rude and judge mental, the ladies that work there. Idk if it’s because I look young ? I’m 30. But they were very discouraging of me getting a cat. And then she finally just said I am going to refuse the adoption to you because I have a 7 yr old child, I’m stay at home, work from home mom. Trash.
Do not donate to this place. Unlike most humane societies I donated to for decades this one is useless and the process to surrender an animal along with the cost is way to high. Just give the animal to the local pound and save yourself lots of time and headache of dealing with this useless group.
They are so awesome and very considerate, I have a little teacup chihuahua and shes two and a half years old at 3 pounds, shes at a higher risk then a lot of the dogs that had to go in for surgery, so theyre going to wait until tomorrow to give her their undivided attention. These people are extremely wonderful and very caring. Thank you Sarah at Gulf Coast Humane Society for setting my mind at ease.
I found a stray kitten. Tame but ribs showing, desperately trying to attach itself to a human. I called Gulf Coast Humane Society. Was told by appt only, see website for details. $35 fee, medical testing, behavioral testing, and if its a stray call animal control. What the hell they good for?? I just wanted to help a damn kitten.
I went to look for a dog and I found a cat outside in the parking lot and I was concerned for the safety of the cat so I called inside and they said I needed an appointment to bring it in and it would be more then an hour and basically they didnt care about it so how cruel is that to a animal we will never donate to them again. All it would have taken was get off their butt for five minutes and stop sitting there flapping there gums
I came here a few times to show my support, the staff and volunteers are absolutely amazing. The facility is well taken care of, the kennels are clean, the dogs, cats, kittens and puppies look very well taken care of. I took a brief moment to speak to some of the volunteers and they had positive feedback. They are very thorough when re homing a pet. If I could give them a 10 star I would.
This is a Great Non-Kill Shelter for Cats & Dogs of Any age!! The Amazing people who work and Volunteer there are So Nice and Helpful to All of the Animals that are there and the people who come to see about taking Home Any of these Awesome animals!!My family has Adopted a Dog that is in the Cell Dog Program that they have.. My Kids and I are going back this Weekend to Hopefully bring home a Nice Dog who needs a Loving Family. We Already have a few in mind to check out thanks to their Website!!
We as a family admire Gulf Coast for the work they do. However, we rescued two beautiful dogs knowing they would find a good home to go to as we could not care for them. We tried four phone calls (said we would get a call back), contacted Gulf Coast online, and there was never a response. It was even indicated that we were willing to give a donation as well as food to help the cause. On behalf of animals and people who love animals, we are very disappointed that no one in this organization was able to help us.
Very professional. We went through another couple adoption agencies and they werent very helpful. Eventually we decided on the humane society and met an amazing dog that we brought home the next day! We still love him! They made the adoption process easy and gave us plenty of information about vets/medicine/etc. Would definitely recommend this place!
Picked up a couple of rescue kitties. They got to have a forever home and we get to enjoy their company. This organization is obviously dedicated to providing a very great service. Or new cats are healthy, vaccinated, spayed|neutered, and microchipped at a price that is obviously far less than it costs them to provide those services. It is so obvious that they are simply concerned for the welfare of these animals. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers, and gratitude for the donors who make this organization possible.George and Le Strange are clearly grateful too.
Although they did not have the breed I was looking for, they had several beautiful animals there. They were well taken care of, pens were clean and lots of interaction with the staff. Because of my age and ability to care for a larger dog, I was looking for a toy breed, preferably a shih tzu, because my 15 year old had recently passed. Wonderful place filled with wonderful staff.
First off. I have to say I dont know how anyone could give the Gulf Coast Humane Society a bad name. Ive been wanting to adopt a dog for some time now and never really got around to trying because I would hear theres no point, theyll deny you or theyre so strict you should just buy a dog. I honestly had the best experience with them and after only 10 min of looking over my application they released the dog. I was honest and didnt have to lie. They must have some pretty good reasons for denying you a pet in which case just go buy one. They let me have a leash, dog food, and a collar. The staff was so nice and honest. Especially the guy with glasses and an arm tattoo. Didnt get his name, but he was awesome and very friendly. Thanks
We adopted our dog (aka- the love of my life) from GCHS in Feb of this year, after we were turned down from a certain terrible establishment (for no good reason). Best decision I have ever made. The staff was so sweet and helpful! The process was thorough but easy. The facility is clean and organized. Not only did our dog come fixed and vaccinated, but we also received our first vet visit for free! I highly recommend the Humane Society and will continue to make annual donations. Thank you GCHS for giving me my baby!
While most of us appreciate the job these people do for animals, there is definitely something wrong here. In order to take home one of these dogs, you have to fill out an application and pay money. If this place loved animals, they would be giving animals away to families and people who want them at no cost. The home visit they try to put you through is invasive and unnecessary. Its ok to keep these dogs locked in cages all day everyday, but not ok to bring one home to an apartment? I can buy a NEW puppy for less money than this place wants. This place makes it too difficult to save a fur baby. Its a scam...Pay me money and subject yourself to a search of your home or else we keep the animals caged. If this place really wanted to re-home animals they would be happy to let you have one. Instead you have to jump through hoops and wait for approval....its a scam, they just want your money.
I cant say enough good things about the Humane Society. They have a caring staff that really seem to take care of the animals they have. We adopted a small puppy after we lost of dog of 11 years. My grandson is now learning how to housebreak a puppy. He never had an opportunity with our other dog as I had that dog before he came to live with us. He loves his dog and I believe will take on the responsibilities of owning a dog. Thank you for the great experience we had during the adoption process and for the care you show towards the animals that are left in your care.
Most of the staff was great, the ladies accepting applications were awful. Denied the application because we wanted our dog to spend time outside. They would rather you confine your animal to a tiny crate than spend time outside and will tell you so. I thought the point of adopting an animal was to give them a better life, not a worse one. The most disappointing thing was that the staff member who denied the application kept her back to us the entire time, making sure we heard what she said but never actually addressed us personally. We went down the road to the city pound and and adopted a happy puppy from a great staff.
My parents and I had a black cat who passed away and we had been wanting another black kitten to give a loving home to for a while. I was told to check out the shelters so my fiancé took me To the gulf coast humane society and the staff was so friendly and helpful to us. I found an adorable sweet playful 4 month old kitten who seemed to love me and I knew right there and then he was meant to come home with me. Although we weren’t able to take him home the same day because my other cat at home needed his shots up to date which was a little disappointing at first so later on that same day we went ahead and took my cat to get his shots. So me and my father came back the next morning with our cats medical and vaccine proof and records hoping the black kitten would still be there. I could not take That kitten off my mind all of day I met him knowing he was meant to be with me and my family and the entire next morning . I was very anxious to bring him home. After waiting for a little while and feeling super nervous about not getting approved, we were so thrilled and filled with joy to find we were approved to take the kitten home. They even gave us a bag of kitten food for him. And the came with shots, neutered and microchipped. This was actually our first time adopting from a shelter and we had such a wonderful experience. I noticed there’s some one/two star reviews floating around about people not able to adopt because they want to pet their pets go outside. I am a firm believer that pets should be strictly indoors due to dangers outside (getting lost, hit by cars, parasites/diseases, cruelty etc) and that’s why the GCHS prefer for animals to go to a home where they are safe indoors. You can’t really blame them for wanting their animals to go to a safe home. I highly recommend adopting from GCHS!
I never do these reviews, but I wanted to share my opinion of Gulf Coast Humane Society. I adopted a Border Collie mix from Gulf Coast in Nov 2013. The staff - everyone from the Director to the vet tech to the ladies in the front office - were helpful, kind, and you can tell they genuinely love these animals. The dog was healthy when we adopted her, and we havent had any medical issues with her at all. I read the sheet that tells all the problems she had when she first arrived at Gulf Coast - mange, heartworm, fleas, ticks, the list went on. Gulf Coast got her 100% healthy and even followed up with me to make sure she stayed healthy. That, to me, is well worth ANY adoption fee. I also like that she came with the tracking service - and a free vet visit so I could find a vet I liked. The unwanted animal population in Corpus is prevalent and this place seems to bear the brunt of it. Its obvious they take in the best and the worst, rehabilitate the ones that need it, and get them all adoptable again. I am appreciative of how they took in this dog, gave her a chance, and got her ready for us to give her a new life. Now she is a perfect addition to our family. Thank you GCHS! Keep up the great work!
Adopted my moms new puppy here. They are AWESOME! They let you play with the puppies and when you adopt, they provide heartworm pills, vaccines, a vet exam, getting the baby fixed, microchipping, and even a toy! My mom is so happy :) The place is always very clean as well (I visit it a lot). Great people, great place. Also, IN RESPONSE TO THE OTHER REVIEWERS: THIS PLACE IS NO KILL! Yall are getting them mixed up with some other shelter. In addition, someone was talking about them not allowing their puppy to be outside. This is because it is a PUPPY! Puppies are meant to be indoors and not in public until they get all their vaccines and are more susceptible to disease. My best friends dog got Parvo from not being fully vaccinated and taking him out into public all the time. This is why they are strict, for the safety of their animals. Please do your research before complaining ;)
I adopted my sweet girl Suki from here a decade ago. From the first day I met her, where she played fetch with me and never did again, to college where she somehow caught a bat, to my first job where she put up with crazy hours, to the last year where shes always been willing to snuggle, I couldnt have asked for a better companion. Shes gone for the long sleep now, and Im not ready yet, but when Im looking for a new family member, this will be my first stop.
This place is fantastic! Its very clean and you can tell the dogs are well taken care of. They even have rooms for you to have a meet and greet with the dogs that are quiet and spacious. I think thats a brilliant idea. I love this place and will continue supporting it!!!
My fiance and I went looking for puppies at the GCHS. Was greeted with a smile and welcomed as if they knew me. Was really great to see so many happy animals. I think that says a lot about how they are treated. Was allowed to have the dog choose us, instead of the other way around. The staff was very patient and answered all of our questions. Thank you GCHS for being so kind and thoughtful to both human and animal. I highly recommend going here first. You wont regret it.
Lots of furry creatures that would like a home, but are content with human interaction. If youre looking for an addition to the family Im sure you will find someone who fits at this place. Animals are clean unlike some other places I have seen. Also, I think they like these rare things... I cant think of the word... Oh yeah Volunteers. Check out the monument by the front door when you stop by, pretty cool.
Im a little biased in my opinion because I know so many people who work here, but the herculean effort these people put into making sure these animals are properly taken care of is astounding. They will bend over backwards to get you paired up with a pet that best fits your needs. If youre looking for a new fur baby you have to check them out first.
Called to see about adopting my dog out today due to living circumstances and the staff was So RUDE and inconsiderate with no help at all. Told her simply that I moved to the area and cannot keep my dog unfortunately and she told me to go back where I moved from! Very bad attitude and kept cutting me off ! Not a good look for such a loving place she needs god . I just hung up.
I love this place great place to adopt!!! they are also no kill shelter!! we adopted a kitten from them. I also volunteer at the shelter!! they have this awesome room called the wallflower room that has dogs that are overlooked or need special attention I recommend going in there you must just find your new dog there
I have never receive a call from their adoption counselor about the puppy that I wanted to adopt. I went on Friday to do the adoption papers. But, I got hit with a problem and couldnt get her on that same day because the shelter need updated information on my little sisters dog and her shots. My mom called the shelter and talked to a staff member about what shot did my little sisters dog needs on Saturday. My sister twin sister called them back and told her that the adoption councilor tried to call me or my mom on Saturday. My mom or I didnt received any calls from the adoption counselor at all. I was very heartbroken by this. I will never ever go back to this shelter.
This animal shelter is one of the VERY best shelters Ive ever been too. Its the biggest in South Texas and the people there truly care for the animals, and for being no kill, that says it all. If anybody disagrees with how the shelter is ran, then why dont you do something about it and become a volunteer to make a difference and TRULY see how amazing of a shelter Gulf Coast Humane Society really is. They care for animals that nobody else will, love the ones nobody else loves and keeps them ALL until they are adopted - Including waiving the fees of dogs that have been there for over a year. Highly recommend.
I adopted my Eddie (Denny Jr) in 2006. A wonderful 4 yr old jack russel terrier. He past away in 2017. I would take him walking at Gulf Coast area and he got to see Dennys Bales and Admiral a few times on Sundays. Thank you Gulf Coast for doing what you do. I know we cant help ALL of them. For the ones that are helped, it means food, shelter, attention and treatment. My Eddie lived a great full life. He was a Godsend. Thanks again.
My wife, son, and I went in today to adopt a puppy because we wanted a dog and were recommended to get a puppy because he is 3 and didnt want a big dog that would run him over or have to worry about it being aggresive/protective (of food, bed, etc.) towards him. They did let us look at a puppy but kept trying to get us to get an older dog (almost a yr old) that was already grown.I am a mechanical engineer and my wife is a middle school teacher with our own house on the southside and a fenced in yard with 6 ft privacy fence. If you have a younger kid and want a puppy from here I would recommend just lying on the application and put you have no kids. They will make any excuse to deny you if you have a young child. I think it is funny that they ask how/where the dog will be kept. I would think they should be asking where you work or how much you make to insure you can provide for the dogs well being. We also put that the dog would be outside sometimes but we thought they were asking about the lifetime of the dog. Which as it gets older it will probably spend more time outdoors but would have access to a doggy door to go in and out. They also said that there puppies needed to be indoors at all times and we explained that it would be inside and crated while gone for at least the first 6 months and than be allowed to go in and put as it pleases. This didnt matter the emphasis was put on the fact that we had a kid. For some reason they feel if you live in an apartment and have no kids you will be a better fit for a puppy. Yet these are probably the ones that cant financially afford a the puppy and end up taking it back.So if you have kids take them in to look at the puppies and then leave and come back alone and just LIE on the application if you can afford to take care of it to bypass there pointless aplication process.
They denied my application to adopt a cat because I believe that the animal should be allowed to go outside for playtime. My daughter was heartbroken. My advice is to fill out the application before you even go back to look at the animals to make sure they deem you worthy.

2022-03-03Place was amazingly clean. The kitty room had cuties running round playing and was fresh and clean. Puppies were happy and clean. An amazing job by the staff there. I asked to see a beautiful dog and was able to spend time in a sitting room with her. I am seriously thinking about going back for her. Staff insisted that she meet my daughter first. Again kudos to the staff most would not ask let alone insist on meet and greet before adoption. Loved the vizit there and will definitely go back.

2022-01-13This was a surprising small facility. They didnt have many dogs available for adoption, which I suppose is a good thing? We werent allowed to take our prospective family member out for a walk- we were just in a small room like a play pen. Everyone was very friendly! I hope some day they will have an outdoor space for meeting your potential family member so they can be a bit more relaxed/natural.

2022-05-17So impressed with this facility and their absolute care for their animals! We adopted Jewel (her name is Daisy now though 😊) and they do a great job answering all your questions and educating you on the animals needs! Daisy is heartworm + and they provide the medication which is so wonderful! They let us see how she interacts with cats and gave us space to bond with her! We’re so in love with her and she’s clearly happy to be with us too! Thank you GC Humane Society for taking such good care of these fur babies! The type of work y’all do is not thanked enough! Oh and p.s Riley who works there was incredibly sweet and did everything to make the experience enjoyable and special! We’re so happy to have Daisy in our lives and to spoil her with the love she clearly deserves! Thank y’all!

2022-03-20Amazing concept but terrible execution. Not only do they pressure you into adopting an animal that is not the right fit for you but if you even mention it not being a right fit they hound you about how terrible a person you are, all because you want to be friends with your future fur baby. They call to check up on you (which seems nice) but any issues you may bring up they scold you and pressure you to bring the animal back. Once you oblige and do as they tell you and you’re there crying your eyes out and already feeling like a monster for even entertaining their idea to bring the animal back they make it worse. They kick you while you’re down and think that they’re better than everyone else. They treat animals okay and treat people like trash. I recommend that if you would like to adopt you simply don’t talk to them, you ignore their incessant need to demonize you, adopting an animal is about loving your fur baby. Adopting is about giving them a loving home and they don’t respect that and they don’t respect you.Support the cause, but the employees don’t deserve respect because they don’t give it.

2022-03-09We love my dog that I got. We wouldn’t trade him for the world, but some things were failed to be disclosed to us. 1 he is dog aggressive, good thing we did not have another dog at home. 2. He has EPI exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. They said take him to the vet the first seven day if he has any problems they will cover the cost. This is a huge lie!!! He had explosive diarrhea since we got him and dry skin. The vet needed a fecal sample, I told the humane society and they said they don’t do fecal samples but will cover medication. I let them know what medication he needed they said they don’t carry that medicine. The vet did blood work and we found out that he had EPI I called them to see what they could cover and I can’t get a response. They also claim that they did do blood work while he was at the Humane Society and they fail to tell us. Again we absolutely love our dog but when you take serous commitment to a dog that stuff should be disclosed.

2022-04-01Just a friendly suggestion: if a dog listed as available for adoption is not appropriate for a home with children and/or other pets - it would be helpful to list those stats in the space reserved for details on petfinder. Having fallen in love with a particular dog (via videos, Facebook posts, and petfinder listing) only to abruptly find out they are un-adoptable is pretty devastating. It also seems reasonable to make note if an animal is in need of fostering - in lieu of adoption. Listing animals as adoptable who instead need behavior modification and further training makes the online process confusing. For anyone interested in adoption, know that there may be some caveats - so dont hype your kids up about an animal they may never get to meet. Also, every family member must be present to meet the animal before an adoption can be finalized. My husband is home six days a month - so we may have to look elsewhere. We may actually just end our search at this time. Que sera sera.*In no way would I discourage anyone from adopting here - or anywhere. Just a thought about how to streamline the process and some quick tips for the next mom scouring the internet for the *perfect* pooch.Adopt dont shop. 🐾❤️

2019-10-18I have adopted both of my cats from here! They give you take home food and a free visit with one of multiple available vets for a health checkup. They are very good about letting you play with and handle any potential felines you’re looking at specifically. They also let them take turns playing in the room outside of their cages so they aren’t cramped in tiny cages all day. I’ve never had any issues health wise or behavior wise with my cats and their spay incisions healed perfectly. 10/10 would adopt here again!I also fostered many cats for a local rescue and anytime I had an intake for them here they were very professional.

2022-01-06The staff is extremely rude. The front desk woman didn’t greet us or speak to us at all, she just stayed seated and did not help us. There was a woman with brown hair in a ponytail who greeted us and seemed nice at first, but was quickly revealed to be rude. We asked a simple question about the dogs up front and she responded with hostility. After that, we walked around and she monitored us from afar. Constantly watching us from a distance as if she was suspicious of us or something. At one point we went to the dogs outside because the woman told us there were more dogs out there. We were looking at them, and one person in my group went to touch one. The woman came out and yelled at us not to touch them since they’re sick. That is understandable to be upset, but she was the one who directed us out there and didn’t tell us beforehand and there were no signs. Afterwards, we went to see more dogs indoors and I could see the woman still watching us through the windows. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time and felt as if we were no longer wanted. I could see the woman speaking with someone and she pointed at us, then that person came to us and asked us if we needed any help. When we responded no and we didn’t have any questions, the person said “Oh okay. Well have a nice day.” At that point I not only no longer wanted to be there, but understood that they didn’t want us there either. The entire experience was uncomfortable, hostile, and confusing. I understand that one of the members of my group had broken a rule, but that rule was not brought to our attention at all, and the rudeness started before that incident occurred.

2022-01-22My son and I accidentally opened a cat cage not seeing that it said “stop, don’t open” and the lady who was overseeing the cats in that area came out and screamed as loud as she could in mine and my six year old sons face. We came in here with the intention to adopt and was told to leave. If I wasn’t with my son, I would’ve been in jail right now for assault. I don’t know any grown woman who works at a non profit that is DUMB enough to yell at a child’s face in front of his mom. I would give this place ZERO stars if they didn’t take care of animals.
