We just got our first service! Kevin was great. He came in and sprayed inside, where we could. My house is quite the mess with my 3 year old running around but he didnt mind. I moved the toys we could and he was able to work around all of the stuff, next time Ill make sure the house is much cleaner for them, my fault totally. He sprayed the entire outside and did my whole yard. We are waiting on the mosquito fog until they really start up, its still a little early. I would definitely recommend!

Tommy was amazing in making sure to ask what was going on, and let me know my options before getting to work. He was quick but thorough in his work, and I couldnt be more appreciative of it! As well, at the house, we have a horrible problem with mosquitos, and he offered to help with that and if we liked the results, then we can choose to add it to our agreement. And I can promise you, if it works, I will most definitely be adding it if I notice a significant change in their activity in the front and backyard. Cant wait to see the results of all of Tommys hard work in the coming days!
Hawx Services responded to my concerns very quickly and sent out a technician the very next day to handle the wasp invasion I had at my house. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and very polite as well. He explained everything he was going to do in a manner that I could understand. Will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to all that I can!
Spoke with Ms. Vanessa Shelly, assisted making my service set up a very awesome customer service experience , extremely very knowledgeable. My installation was performed by Mr. James Wyatt, Evan, and Brian they answered every question I had in a very professional manner. I forgot the another important factor is that they were prompt on scheduled time. Hawx Pest Control provides an awesome experience along with a excellent customer service so just give them a try you wont be disappointed the next time you have a pest control project.
Firstly, I would say the price for the service is amazing! Michael who got me signed up explained everything and emailed me the paperwork to have. He showed me the price with taxes so no surprise. Erin, the technician, called me ahead of my appointment and let me know a factual timeline. He was punctual and polite. He did what he said he would and walked me through the entire process. I’m glad I chose HAWX.
Patrick A came to the house today and performed our quarterly inspection. He was very polite and professional. Patrick took his time and made sure to hit all the hot spots outside of the house clearing cob webs, ant hills and wasp nest. Finally had a tech that did a good job. Would like for him to continue as our regular technician.
Chris Thomas was a great technician. He answered all my questions and did not make me feel like I was an inconvenience. He was very knowledgeable about the service and gave me helpful tips for little things I’ve noticed. Great service, great technician and I’m hoping great results. If I could request a technician to service my home I will ask for him. Jayce was very good rep as well and he did not over sell me when I told him what I wanted. Very pleased with the service.
Technician Terrance Johnson was awesome! I had a re-service today 9-11 and was ready to give the technician who came out a piece of my mind. When Terrance arrived he was so PROFESSIONAL, listened to my concerns and addressed everything.I was ready to leave the company and this experience has changed my mind. Hey management you may want to consider promoting Terrance and allow him to train your other techs in the art of customer service and a great work ethic.I will be requesting that Terrance be the only one to service our home.
Michael Johnson was my tech and he was professional, communicating and thorough. This is my third pest control company and would recommend it over the rest for sure. He took his time and ensured I got my money’s worth. Other companies used are in and out within minutes. He was here for 15-20 mins. Definitely happy with my code to switch company’s and really appreciate Michael keeping me informed and his professionalism.
As always Hawx, your service was above the standards. Brian was great! He call gave me a ETA of his arrival and made it here 10 minutes earlier. He showed genuine interest and concern about what our home needed and he was very professional & respectful. He did great, “ Thanks Brian “ for another Great Hawx experience!!
I utilize Hawx to keep the perimeter of my home inoculated against all forms of critters. While inside extermination is included, that is only periodically necessary given the barrier they lay down around the home. Excellent service. My technician Marvin did a great job!
John just came today and did an amazing job. They were on time, professional, and quick. We havent seen any ants, spiders, or any other little bugs. 🙆🏽♀️ I love the fact that they did outdoors as well. I cant wait until I can test outside to see if the bugs will let me bbq in peace. Chris just finished treating my home and was very professional and charming to talk to. He was knowledgeable about different pests and how best to treat them. I am looking forward to continue to getting pest extermination and prevention from Chris in the future! Jace was polite and attentive in getting us signed on for service.
Just switch to this company because it was much more cost effective for the services with them than my last pest control service. Terrence and Jerry came to my home one time and worked very quickly. Terrence did inside and out while Jerry worked outside also. The one thing I hate is someone in your home being quiet. Terrence was really friendly and held conversation with me while inside. So far, I’m glad I switched, I really love great customer service and I feel like they provided that today.
Their salesman knocked on my front door after 7PM on a weekday. He told me about their service and I said it was too expensive. He then said he would discount the rate by 80%. I said fine but I only need service once every 3 months and could I just pay $49.99 once each quarter. He agreed. How he wrote the contract on his I pad was very different and Hawk is trying to charge me $49.99 each month even though they only come out every 90 days. Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this firm, their salesmen are dishonest.
I was not home at the time of service, but I received a text from the service professional Klayten letting me know he was at my home and would be providing my bi-monthly service. I always receive a text a couple of days ahead of my appointment to remind me about my appointment. And always a phone call following up about the service provided. The person text from the service provider was a nice touch. We exchanged a couple quick text about my neighbors dog (being protective of our houses) and he wished me a great week. I have used Hawx Consistently for the past few years, never any complaints. May be moving soon and Ill be sure to transfer my service with me.
Today I had the pleasure of having Kyle Steere service my residence. I explained to him the issues I have with wasp nest forming in the fence. He locate additional nests took care of them as well. Be careful explained services rendered and asked if I had any additional question, of which he answered. He was very thorough and professional. Kyle is an asset to this company.
We were so terribly infested with fleas! Had spent hundreds and tried everything, but NOTHING worked. Then finally I found Hawx Pest Control. They were so awesome on the phone and gave me hope and their price for service was excellent so I accepted their services. They were her within a couple of days and Mr. Max was so wonderful. He went above and beyond to take care of our flea problem. Its been two days now and no fleas. I cant tell you how greatful I am! These people saved me from months of misery! Thank you Hawx! You have definitely made me a customer for life!
Nate the person who signed us up was very nice, professional and helpful he got us a great price and was able to get us a technician to come for the service the same day. Michael Johnson our technician was also very professional, he was on time and he explained everything he treated at the end of his service. So far very pleased.
I have recently switched to this Company and I have to say I am satisfied with their work .My technician was Isaac Williams ,Field tech and he was very attentive to my concerns and resolved my wasp nest that I had in my backyard. Overall , great customer service and I called them and they came out asap. Thank you !
Dane knocked on our door earlier this week and offered us pest control services. His pitch was polite and professional. So we agreed. Appointment was set for 9-11 am on Friday. Patrick texted ahead of time and showed up right st 9am. He was also polite and professional. We are very happy with the service so far.
I have been very happy with Hawx Pest Control. They advise me when they are coming, quietly do their work expeditiously, and then notify me when they are finished. I use them for mosquito control and have definitely noticed a reduction in mosquitoes around my home. Klayten is my service provider. I appreciate his professional work ethics.
I’ve only had the initial service, but I’ve been impressed with the process and communication including the completed service report with pictures. But I especially appreciate Josh handling my cancellation with my other service - he has gone above and beyond! I have already recommended him to my neighbors! Thanks for everything Josh!
I did a contract with Hawx Pest Control and at first had some scheduling issues. I talked to Mrs. Belinda in accounting and she was very concerned and helpful with the issue at hand. They finally got me scheduled . Joseph Vorice and Jacob Parker did my initial termite and general pest control. They were very professional and thorough! If they continue like these men treated my home and family, I will be satisfied and continue my business with them.
Zachary called and asked if I was available early, which I was. He showed up exactly when he said he would. He was professional and thorough making the entire process very easy. He treated for mosquitoes and fleas/ticks etc.. He explained what he was doing very well and answered any question I had. I definitely recommend having them out!
On time and Fredrick was very nice! I do think adding a phone call or text message a couple hours before the appointment would be awesome just to confirm that they are showing up. Other than that seems to be good cant wait to see if the mosquitoes are going to calm down now!
Erin (Tech) called and notified me that he was going to be early. He was professional, friendly, and explained the process. When he left, he locked the gates as requested (I have dogs and don’t want them to get out).He left pictures of the areas he took care of.This is the first time I used Hawx Pest Control so time will tell about the effectiveness. However, the two people I dealt with so far were extremely polite and friendly.
Terrible and fraudulent company. Some kid came to my door and gave long speech. 40 bucks or so for a spray sounds great. Only needed it once. Made me sign some things didn’t talk anything about a cancellation sign up agreement. They charged my card a few months later so I called to ask about it. Said I owe 50 dollars a month or if I cancel I owe 210. What a scam artist company.
Telvin was our professional today. Even though we weren’t home he provided service thoroughly (we don’t use inside services) and even sent pictures of his work. I like that I can trust this company. Will be continuing to use. And they got rid of the wasps that were finding their way into my house which makes them nothing short of heroes in my book
Kyle Steere came to service my home today and was very professional and provided service to the perimeter of our home as always. He also was able to service an atrium that we have in the middle of our home and sprayed one room in our home. He made us aware of the fact that since we have a dog to keep the dog out of sprayed area inside the home for at least one hour to prevent it from affecting our pet. Kyle was very knowledgeable and friendly and provided answers to questions that we had and sent pictures to show all areas serviced.
Faustino came and serviced my home. They came at a great time with a great deal I could not pass up. He also explained to me all of the details of his job and what he had to do. He was very professional and did not waste time, I appreciate Hawx and Faustino for treating me as a valued customer, thank you guys!
We had Grant ring our doorbell soliciting pest control services.Here’s a list of things that occurred:1. We have a NO SOLICITING sign above our front door.2. We already have a business that comes out. I stated that when he began the questioning.3. He was incredibly condescending as my partner deals with the pest control and once I explained that he kept asking me questions about when my partner would be home & when he can speak with him.4. I had to shut the door in his face because he wouldn’t stop his angry questioning of the services we pay for.5. He also was bad mouthing a company he has no knowledge of.All & all, I would never recommend this company due to this experience. I’ve never had a solicitor be so aggressive. Avoid if you can.
I recently purchased the service and had our 1st appointment today. Terrence J. arrived on time and even called prior to the appt time. He was so Courteous and Professional, listened to all my concerns and addressed them all. We have had many prior issues with insects and he listened carefully as we walked around the house. He also knocked down multiple wasp nests that keep making their way back up. He was truly a pleasure to work with and I look forward to having him assigned as our future technician.
Had Favre out to my home and he went above and beyond with services! He was very communicative prior to his arrival. While on-site at my home, he was very thorough with his investigation, informed me with information on all the products he was using and explained the entire process. Can’t wait to have him back for our follow up services!
Very please with Fredrick. He came out explain what he was going to do. I have dogs so I was concerned with what chemicals they were using he sent me a picture of the chemicals with ingredients on them to put my mind at ease. We walk the entire house and he was friendly and professional. I am very please to use this company.
SCAM. If I could give this a 0 star rating I would. The salesman was going door to door trying to sell pest control service. I listed my concerns and he told me yes they take care of all that and can guarantee customer satisfaction. My main 3 things I listed were ants up by where my roof and house meet, spiders up in the corners of my outside entry way, and fleas in the yard (I treat my dogs but noticed they were still getting bites). When a different guy came out to actually perform the service he told me they cannot spray anything above their heads, so there goes the promise of taking care of the ants by the roof. He also told me they do not spray anything up in the corners for spiders because, again, they cannot spray above their heads. He said they just knock them down but cannot do anything to prevent them from coming back. Also the stuff he was putting in the yard looked like a bag you get from Home Depot and said in big bold letters “does not guarantee treatment of fleas and ticks”. The salesman also promised me all products were kid and pet safe. I have a crawling baby so I asked this question multiple times. His exact words were “your child could eat a bug covered in this stuff and be perfectly fine”. Ew, but ok. The technician that performed the service told me that it is *technically* safe but after it has time to dry and still even then he would try to keep them away from it. So I call to let them know I want to cancel because the things I was promised are not being fulfilled. Fast forward here we are 3 months later, I have called and spoke to different managers numerous times, sat on hold for ridiculous times and nothing has been resolved. They just randomly send people to my house and when I tell them no please do not perform any services I am trying to cancel they charge me $130 even though no services have been done since the initial time the guy came out and I told them this is not what I signed up for. They are now telling me they will either continue to charge me or I can pay $450 termination fee. I have never had such horrible customer service and the fact that a guy came to my home and lied to my face to make and sale and get his commission and now I am out literally hundreds of dollars is so disgusting to me.
Al Harper arrived on time with great communication prior to the scheduled appointment. He provided a thorough explanation of the service and was very professional while inside our home and around my family. Brooks Kokkola, the young man who knocked on our door was also very polite and informative. He is the first Utahn weve connected with since recently moving to Dayton, Tx from Roy, Ut 4 weeks ago!My family and I have lived in the Ogden area our entire lives and it was a no brainer, we were switching to Hawx!
A Hawx employee came to my door trying to sell something when I clearly have a No Soliciting sign. He rang doorbell, waited, then knocked. When I finally answered, he wouldnt take no for an answer and said Well if you answered the first time.... then got mad when I asked him to leave. I guess he couldnt read.We are very happy with our current pest control company and will never buy from door-to-door sales. I dont care if Hawx has the best service and the best price, they wont ever have my business.
Would NOT recommend this company. Signed a contract thought it was going to be awesome. A week AFTER I signed a contract they came out to do our home and I was told that the tech could not go in our backyard because a dog was out, there was no dog and then the pictures they send of them doing our house was NOT even our house.
Marvin pepper was the absolute best! He not only made sure I knew what the process involved but explained how the bugs get in and what environment they like to hide in. He made sure to cover every inch of my home and even checked certain trouble areas! Would recommend!

Jacob Parker and Khamarius Bowie came out to my house and took care of all of my pest control needs and even removed all the spiders from underneath my carport and on the backside of my house and were very thorough. They are really polite and well mannered as well. Kudos to this company for fighting the good fight.
Great technicians and great service! Unfortunately they left our side gate open and the dogs got out of our backyard when we put them back outside. This is the first time it’s happened Since we started using them last year. We found them thanks to our number being on their tags.

We have been on this company for almost 3 years, we never had problems with anybody, until 2-3 months ago when they decided to increase the price without telling anybody!So we called and the person at the office was rude, they schedule one visit and then they switch the times, and horrible storyBuuuuut!!!!!!We spoke with Kyle Steere, he tried to get the best resources as he can and we love to continue with them. Kyle was very kind and nice to take his time to talk to us and explain and also to apologize for the inconvenience!I can only say that please talk with the people who doesn’t care about this company, technicians and also office staff.
Matthew and Joe were great. They made sure everything I needed was completed. They communicated all of their steps and ensured my questions were answered. They were both very professional even with my loud, rude barking dogs interrupting them. Certainly a team I wouldn’t mind for return service.
Very happy with the results. Looks like Haux pest control is taking charge and getting my issues under control quickly very pleased. Tino is doing a great job at checking everything and updating me on what progress has been made. Professional well mannered and Pleasant young man.
The only good they did was get rid of the fire ants at my mail box. Mosquito? Everywhere. Don’t bother with them unless you’re willing to wait on hold forever either. Not even worth the $290 cancellation fee after you’ve found out it doesn’t work. Oh, and it broke out all three of my dogs. One to the point it started to lose hair. They told me it wouldn’t.
Today Klayten White came to spray my maintenance pest control at my home. klayten was very personable, professional, and followed my instructions perfectly as to what I needed. He truly cared about what I needed most for my home and property. I hope Hawx and Klauten never change how they preform their service. I am very happy with this company and their Tech.
I don’t typically leave reviews for companies, but I have to after my experience today. Erin came in & did a very thorough walkthrough/spray of my home while informing me of what exactly he was doing and what to expect in the future. He was extremely considerate, kind and professional the entire time he was in my home. This was the best experience I’ve had with a pest company to date! Hawx did an outstanding job & I would recommend them to anyone.
Hawx has been great. Klayton is super friendly, very communicative and a great tech. He explains exactly what he is doing and is very thorough. The mosquito service they performed really has worked wonders for our yard!He even fixed our awning in the backyard and restrapped it up just because he’s a nice guy! We are very appreciative and cannot recommend them enough. Ask for Klayton!
This company tricks people into buying service plans but then keep billing you monthly after your service agreement has ended and they alsobill you if you have to reschedule. I have two babies at home and sometimes it’s hard to arrange to be out of the house to have the service and I had to reschedule a few times and was billed even though i did not received any service. They also make it very hard to cancel your account and just keep billing monthly.
Klayten came to initiate service with this company & he was very knowledgeable & professional. We just started working with this company but so far, every representative we have spoken to has been great. We’re looking forward to working with this company over at least the next year!
Stay away from this company! Very unethical and unprofessional. They insist on a subscription model and you cant cancel. Even when you tell them you want to cancel, they continue to charge you. They have people who call and harass even after youve paid the balance, for which you really got no value. The services they did provide were basically useless. They sprayed a little around the house and that was it. They charged $79 per month for a service where they came out 4 times per year. Youre basically paying them for NOTHING!
Mr. Brian was very knowledgeable, professional and kind. He got the job done quickly but was also very informative of his process, so that I understood what was being done to my home.Grant, the young sales man that had informed me of this company was very personable and knowledgeable about the products services. He was able to get me on a better and cheaper plan than I was previously on.Overall I am very satisfied with Hawx Pest Control and will recommend.
This has to be the worst excuse for a pest control company I’ve ever encountered. Don’t waste your hard earned money dealing with these scam artists. Still have all the bugs they said they would get rid of. When I canceled they said i have to pay a 200$ fee luckily it was worth getting out of business with them. If you even contemplate doing business with them do yourself a favor and go get some 5$ Raid MAX from the store and save yourself the time and the money of dealing with this illegitimate business.
I unfortunately had to turn down the service as my aunt had a contract with an alternative pest control company. But the salesman I had come to my door, Mr. James Pryor was incredibly polite and understanding despite the chaotic home circumstances. He had a great demeanor and was an excellent salesman in my opinion.
I use these guys every month and Im pretty sure I saw ONLY 1 flea again but they didnt care. They came out for free anyway. And said okay we are here to help. This is the chemicals well be using, Ill stay clear of the baby area, so on. Kyle steere was so sweet and detailed. He spoke up, was honest, polite and got the job done. No questions asked. Anthony came to my home this afternoon and told me all about the services that HAWX could provide. Also that they already are servicing some of my neighbors. The price was reasonable so I signed up. Brian came a few hours later and serviced my home. He was thorough and wasted no time. I believe that I will continue to be pleased with their work.
Salesperson showed up at the door, claimed they were doing a neighbors house and were offering special deals. After telling the salesperson multiple times that I was not interested, I finally said Its time for you to get off my property. A competitor showed up a few minutes later, but took no to mean no and left. Called the city, the competitor had paid the fee to solicit, Hawx had not registered with the city or paid the fee. Based on these two pieces of evidence Ive concluded they are not a very reputable company.
After reading reviews, I hired this company to treat the house I was renting for mice and those silverfish thingys. I think the guy that came out was named Alex.. he was cool, professional. Put down sticky traps with peanut butter and sprayed inside and out for the bugs..My issues: after I had already scheduled an appointment for someone to come out, I was getting multiple calls a day from Hawx asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment for services. After telling them the first time I already have an appointment scheduled I was still receiving calls, even after the appointment.I got the house sprayed for those silver bugs, all types of bugs started coming out afterwards.Didn’t catch any mice on the traps with the peanut butter, so after a month of living at that house I just ended up moving out.After moving out, I called Hawx to cancel the monthly subscription and was told in order to do so I had to send a copy of a new lease (that I didn’t have being that we went into a shelter) and I was still being charged, and still get calls to this day and I haven’t lived there for about 3 months.. it’s just a hassle.
I just got screwed by Hawx Services for 200.00 on a early service cancellation.The door to door salesperson assured me I could cancel at any time, this is false.After the initial service call, there were still more bugs and critters crawling. I called for a follow up, it took them 1 week to schedule the follow up.The tech did not show up until after 5, I needed to reschedule and guess what wait another week!Do yourself a favor, find another company. There IS an early cancellation fee.
BUYER BEWARE!!!HAWX Services cares nothing about their customers and only about getting you to sign their contract! About five weeks ago, a HAWX sales representative knocked on my door asking for a minute of my time. I already had service with a different pest control company but even after I explained that to him he was very persistent that I switch over and give HAWX my business. He immediately offered to rectify the situation by personally calling my current pest control provider to cancel my contract. If a fee was charged for cancellation, it would be taken care of as long as it was reasonable and this, he assured me. Foolishly I took his word on it and signed their contract, with only myself to blame now. Just a month later, I realized my current service had never been cancelled and Ive been paying for two pest control companies. I called the company that should have been cancelled by HAWX and they informed me that it would cost $200 to cancel my contract with them. Now that I have notified HAWX of my situation they have refused to take any responsibility for promises made by their sales rep. Finally today, an account supervisor returned my call and explained that in some cases a sales rep can agree to cancel current policies for customers and that if they decide to pay a resulting fee, it is their choice to do so. But unless I have a recorded conversation proving it happened or unless the rep notated my account with the information, it was my word against his word. When I simply asked to cancel my service with them he quickly let me know that I would be charged $226 for ending my contract. Take my advice and DO NOT trust anything a sales rep from this company promises you and only trust the black and white words printed on their contract agreement. I am shocked that HAWX has taken no accountability in this situation. For $226 this company needs to be exposed for what they really are. $$$ Fraudulent and Irresponsible
It was Kyle Steere from Hawx pest control who performed a Warranty Service on my home. I am so glad I had him as my technician today. He sounded like a professional. He was so patiently listening to me and able to answer all my questions. He did target the issues related to Ants, Spiders and Mosquitos. Hope that controls them until my next service.
I just started with with Hawx and I can say that I am very pleased with their service. Hawk sent a young man by the name of Telvin Cowart. This gentleman was very professional, courteous, thorough, and kind. He helped with all the areas that I needed ant control, taking down mud dauber nests and also wasp nests. He answered all of my questions and gave me great advice on what steps I should take to get the right work done for preventative maintenance. Thanks Hawx and I will surely recommend this company to friends and family.
Sam was a very friendly and professional tech. I really appreciate that he rang the doorbell to let me know he was here to perform the pest control services abs he also asked if there was a dog in the backyard, which I appreciate so much, as I have a huge Alaskan Malamute that would have taken off if the gate was opened.
Our experience with Hawx Pest Control was excellent today. Cody Lockridge was meticulous today and focused on getting our house in as best shape as possible for our upcoming party. In addition to taking very good care of the exterior of our home, he also identified gnats we were having issues with in the kitchen...retrieved a specific treatment from his truck and we have already seen a difference in only 6hrs after trying to home remedy the situation for over two weeks. A Hawx representative came by my house to inform me of a special they were running in my area, the price was so good I had to jump on it. They had technician Michael Johnson come by that very same day. He was so nice and explained everything that he did and even provided pictures of his work.
Marvin Pepper was our service tech today. He came out and did a thorough job picking up the slack where other tech’s left things slacking.He communicated very throughly. Explained the situation clearly and found a solution that is working so far.I like that he sent photos of the problem areas he addressed in today’s visit directly to my text message.
The Technician, Matthew McNiel, arrived on time after first letting me know when he would be arriving. He explained to me what he was going to do on this initial visit. After verifing I had received all of the contractual documents, he very efficiently went about his task. Very pleased.
NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY. They will keep transferring you once they have you under contract. No accountability and horrible processes. I tried emailing and they kept replying looks like someone fixed this. Call us if you need anything else. What about the hearing impaired? They refuse to email communicate? Wow. They were a week late to install. I had them for two weeks and was charged two months. This wasnt early termination as I had that written in my contract since I knew I was moving soon just not so soon. They are so rude and unprofessionalI only write a review if something is truly horrible and I wish to warn others! Go with someone else!
Kyle Steere serviced the yard today.In the year that I have used Hawx Kyle is the only one that sent pictures of his service. Maybe if I had Kyle all the time I might not have canceled Hawx today after his service. The 5 stars is for Kyle not Hawx. I had issues with Hawxfrom the first service. I don’t have time to go into details. Thank you Kyle for your service today.
A salesman came to my door today. He was very rude when I told him No thank you. He replied I guess you like wasps referring to a few wasps that had built a new home on my patio. I am disabled and live with my sister who just had back surgery. Because of his behavior we will never be customers of this company.
These guys were super convenient because we were already in need of this service, and dont really have time to seek out this kind of service, so when they knocked on our door it was awesome! The guy that came by to help with the rodent problem, Michael Johnson, was super informative, quick, thorough, and pleasant to interact with. I will be recommending this service to my friends and family! I also really like how they move around with you when you change residences.
I would give zero stars if I could. Deceitful sales tactics and worst customer care service. They only care for your money. Please do your due diligence and read through the fine print before signing anything.First of all, their door to door salesman (Brened) gave us wrong information and signed us up for outdoor plan even when our problem was indoors. We trusted his judgment and signed up for what he described as once a month service for 4 months as our lease expires in 4 months. When I asked him to wait till I get the contract in my email so I could check, he said his internet was slow and I would get it by the end of the day.We found out it was outdoor service when a service man came later that day. When I called the salesman about the issue, he said ‘it’s not the end of the world and we would simply switch you over and I will schedule a service for coming Thursday’. He could have informed me about the possibility of canceling the contract. Again, I made the mistake of trusting him.No one came on Thursday and the salesman stopped returning the call. When I called customer care number, they assured they will call the next day after they get more information. No one called.When I called they transferred me to sales rep, he wanted me to sign up for annual service which I didn’t want in the first place. I was transferred to the accounts manager who didn’t care that I was given misinformation or that I was signed up for the wrong service. She didn’t care if their salesman lied or I actually had paid for a service I didn’t need. She informed me that it was MY FAULT for signing a contract without reading the fine print so at this point I would have to pay $209 for early termination. I refused to pay and didn’t authorize her or gave her permission to terminate my contract. She charged my card right next moment without my authorization.I guess it is my fault for taking the word of a salesperson who lied through his teeth about the service I was signing up for or the duration.
I honestly hate to leave this review as I appreciate the tenacity of the young salesmen, but these guys really need to be trained on how to take No for an answer. Today is the second time Ive had to stand on my front porch and fight off a Hawx Pest Control salesman. Having learned from the last time, I came out of the gate letting him know we already have a pest control company that we are very happy with and are NOT INTERESTED in any service from Hawx! He still tried and tried to convince me that his service was superior...honestly, even if it was a better service, I still wouldnt want it. I call my bug guy for any problem at any time and he comes out for $40 a month. The best part is no annoying sales guy at my door! Please do not send anymore salesmen to my door!!!!

Dont know much about this business, this is simply a post to refer to their sales tactics and salesmen. Had some young kid, (maybe first job), knock on my door with smug attitude. He was acting like I owed him or something as if I was disturbing his home, not the other way around. He was nearly indignant that I ask if he I could help him when I answered the door. It was completely ridiculous, doubt he will sell anything-he needs to be retrained. I can only hope hes the owners son as the future is not bright otherwise.He proceeded to give me the whole I did all our neighbors homes pitch. For reference, its a complete fabrication as no one on my block using Hawx. He also ignored the no soliciting sign, but all these door-to-door pest control sales people do. I dont plan on ever giving this company , or any company that uses these tactics my business. I live in Spring Texas, I currently use Bugco and they have been reliable so far.Update: Turns out, this company has a 1.5 star review on yelp. It seems rude salesmen is a systemic problem. LoL, if you see a kid with a hat and brown hair, just close the door and save yourself a few precious minutes. Seems like EVERYONE hates this kid.
I’m back on here to write a review on the lies this company offers. I’m paying for a yearly package and they didn’t even come by at the scheduled appointment. I was home all day and not once did I see anyone from pest control… This morning I checked my portal and apparently someone was at my house at 5:09pm which is a lie! I was outside watering my plants at this time. Just unacceptable! To add on the fact they don’t answer their phones is icing on the cake. Do not use this company! I’m canceling my membership ASAP!
They are the absolute worst!First of all they will call you 50 times a month trying to sell you on everything. If you ignore them they start showing up to your house. One day a guy showed up to my home for a flea treatment that I didnt schedule and he only did the front yard because I wasnt home. Hawx tried charging me for a full house treatment. I said no and rescheduled for a full house treatment to make it fair, the guy showed up, did the front house and left. I texted him about leaving and he said they wasnt anything on his notes. I rescheduled again!!! A guy named Kyle blew up my phone that day asking if he can come earlier. It was 11 am and my appointment was at 4... I said no Im at work. He tried to get me to come home from work or during lunch and complained that 4 pm was too late. Hawx agreed to cancel my account free of all charges. But they didnt ..thry called my phone 20 times in one day trying to sell me on more stuff I called furious and they said my account was nocancled. I tried to get it cancled and they would hang up on me or leave me on hold for a long time or the run around. Do not come here!! They will never leave you alone.
Called and asked for a estimate to treat carpenter ants. They only offered me a year contract . When I told them I wasn’t I interested in a monthly or quarterly service, they hung up on me. Now I’m getting calls nonstop from them. Definitely would not recommend this company.
Issac was Professional and polite. Very nice and listened to everything I had to say. I ask a lot of questions and he let me walk with him Ana’s he did the extermination and explained to me what he was doing and why. He did an awesome job thank you Issac.I also wanted to mention about the sales rep that came to my door. Very nice and explained everything very well on top of my 100 questions. I also wanted to note that he did mention there was a cancellation fee of 200 and something I forget exact price but he did mention that early cancellation fee.
Ok. I have a flea infestation on the outside of my home. Fleas on my driveway, front n back yard, and in my garage. I spent all Friday calling around...nothing.I regoogled flea infestation and this company showed up. This was the only place that showed up early on a sat.Keep in mind i called them yesterday...amazingAna called me in time for me to wake up, put clothes on, and put my dogs away...amazingAna listened to my concerns and explained what she would do and what i needed to do and then did her thing and now we will see the outcome.Im excited because i updated my backyard and looking forward to finally enjoying it!!!I am amazed at the punctuality, the efficiency, professionalism, and thoroughness. Your really not seeing these qualities nowadays.I did sign a contract for 1 yr, however it might be nessessary because of this flea situation. I do have 3 days to cancel and this was the most affordable plan out there. $100 a month for 12 months.I will post updates if anything changes.
Had first service today. Michael Johnson arrived early, was in uniform, came prepared for all services and was very courteous. He answered all my questions and even researched the source of some eggs on the patio. I have high hopes that HAWX gets my bug infestation under control!
Their techs are good.but their customer service is so horrible.they change the wording and language of the terms and contract.Agents say different information to you each time you give them a call.they have recordings of all the calls but refused to hear them and admit to their faults.
I am SO grateful to Hawx pest control and in particular, Isaac, our technician. We signed up yesterday and today, Isaac arrived exactly on time after letting us know he was en route. He was so polite and knowledgable and a great sense of humor. He went above and beyond removing a wasps nest and shared with me a complete overview of the work hed done. Were looking forward to seeing Isaac again in the future! Highly recommend.
We have been using HAWX for a year now and they are very responsive and timely. Today we were helped by KYLE STEERE for a fire ant infestation. He educated us about how to take care of the cracks in the house and also checked for cracks himself. He also sprayed the whole house as well. He was very professional and helpful. We would definitely recommend using HAWX!
Eric Rattray was very professional and knowledgeable.(& early). He explained the function of the spray and what to expect in the next week once the bugs come in contact with it. Other services available were explained including estimated costs. Glad I found Hawx. Thank you Eric.
If you want to waste your time, money, and patience THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! Told them my main issue, the GIANT WASP nest inside my wall. I hear them while I’m watching tv. They told me it’s not possible to be in my wall since they’re not in my house.Scheduled to have them come every month (since I’m paying for every month might as well, right?)Wrong. They scheduled for every three months. Keep in mind I live right in front of a cow pasture. The bugs are crazy here.Called to have them fix my scheduling so it could be every 3 weeks instead cause they were just getting worse. They gave me a $30 discount for my next bill, and NEVER FIXED IT. Lol so I paid $150 for ONE TREATMEANT every time,Technically.So here I am, no one has came out, STILL. The wasps are 10x worse then when I first called. Do not use this company.Oh, don’t let me forget, they will call you 3-5 times a WEEK, but won’t fix any of your issues!The people are super nice and seem professional, but obviously a train wreck on their side.
We have hawx services come once a quarter to spray our yard. Today we had Telvin Cowart come by, and he was very informative and pleasant to deal with. Notified me of potential Termite colonies and will be getting that handled through HAWX as well. Great info and great service!

Ana is efficient in her work and knowledgeable. She took time to explain what she was doing and why. I was so impressed that she answered my questions in such a respectable manner that I introduced her to my next door neighbor about a termite prevention plan. My neighbor was also impressed with her professionalism and chose to do a termite preventative care. We trust Ana and want her to be our permanent technician for all future services.
We thought we had brown dog ticks which turned out to be bed bugs. It was awful. I used diatomaceous earth powder and some bed bug spray to get things started but soon realized I needed professional help. I talked to a dozen companies with some pretty high prices that would only come once. Adam and Sedrick from Hawx came out and looked things over, saw what I had done and told me what they could do. They had the best price and were extremely nice which was a plus as we were mentally and physically exhausted spraying and moving everything out. Adam, Sedrick, Desmond, and Chelsea came out and meticulously inspected everything and sprayed the strong stuff. They had the powder, spray, mist, and aerosols to kill those disgusting things. One big thing was that they came out as soon as we were ready for them and not a few days out or the following week like most companies were saying. I get that these companies are busy but this was one of those things were they multiply fast. We were sleeping on air mattresses in the living room which is only fun when your 5. Best crew out there.
On July 12, a sales representative came to my home while I was at work and my wife and 2 year old daughter were there. My wife answered and after talking to the rep she informed him I wasnt home and that Im usually the one who takes care of maintenance around the house. She asked him to come back later once I m home. The sales rep would not take no for an answer and pressured her to sign up for a consultation and took down her credit card information. On my way home my wife calls me upset and in the brink of tears because she was pressured to sign up for the consultation. I calmed her down and told her not to worry about it and that I would handle it. I called the number provided in the confirmation email, cancel the consultation and informed them about emotional trauma they caused my wife. This company needs to retrain their sales staff to be professional while doing door to door sales pitch. If someone declines a consultation or services, respect their decision and move on. Noone should feel pressured into signing up for something they are not comfortable.
The person who solicited services at my home DID NOT EXPLAIN that I was signing up for a monthly service. Then when I wanted to cancel they tried to charge me $400 early termination. I thought I was signing for ONE TREATMENT! These guys are a scam!!!!! Do not let them treat your house if they knock on your door.

Carl C. did such a thorough job with our place! He inspected outside of our home and sprayed around it including our backyard then worked on the areas we were concerned about. He went above and beyond by going through other parts of the house we didn’t point out just in case. He wasn’t rushed and took his time with for our appointment. We’re very happy with our partnership with Hawx!
I would never use a company that employs such RUDE and inconsiderate employees!! Their salesman insist on ringing my doorbell despite a very clear NO SOLICITING sign on my door. The rude, persistent little jerk wouldnt take NO for an answer. When I asked him if he could READ, he said he read the sign but he wasnt selling anything hed come to warn me that since theyd sprayed my neighbors houses all the bugs would come to my house !! This was at 6 pm while we were eating supper.
4th of July.. what a great day to send out a salesperson. First thing he says. Would you like to have your house sprayed inside and out for $50 bucks..those were his words...I thought that was way too cheap....he tried to get me to do a contract....I said no thank you. I asked him is this a monthly service, he said its $50 quarterly and well come out as many times as you want. Sweet cleaned cut young man doing this. Yea Ive been in sales for 28 years and if its too good to be true it is. He said you only pay $50 quarterly because its for the less fortunate who cant pay. That was the last red flag i needed. Immediately i came to the reviews and sure enough. I dodged a future head ache there.
The sales people who knock on our doors should be better trained and knowledgeable of this contract they are selling us! I specifically asked if this would be a recurring charge and was told no! He told me someone would reach out to me within 2weeks of my next 3 month treatment to see if I still wanted the services! But of course with Sept being my next treatment I still received a charge for $50 again this month! I also still have nose divers and ants in my yard! Im very unhappy right now. As Im sitting on hold again to speak with someone because I was put on hold for 12min and then the call just hung up.
This company is a fraud. They do not properly train their salesperson on policies and fees charged to their customers. They send them door to door to give false information. We were told we would be charged 39.99 quarterly for the service. We were also told that if you weren’t happy with their service or just simply couldn’t afford it anymore you could cancel it at anytime without any additional fee. This is a question we repeatedly asked the salesperson, it was actually more important than the monthly fee. No one wants to pay for a service they aren’t happy with and you should not be charged for canceling a service you aren’t happy with. So when we were charged 39.99 the very next month my husband called to inquire into the charge. That is when we were informed that the salesperson was not correct and that the fee was monthly. So my husband asked to go ahead and cancel the service as that was not what we were told. The service was not worth the money as we are still having mosquitoes and wasp around the house. He said he could definitely cancel it but we would be charged $210 cancellation fee. Again we were told we could cancel at anytime without a fee. He again assured us we would not be charged any fees for cancellation. My husband asked to speak to a supervisor and was informed that he was the supervisor and there was no one else above him to speak to about what we were told. This is bad business you do not take advantage of and lie to people. If this company comes by your home please grab your glasses/magnifying glass and take the time to read everything on their little tablet. They come to your home your standing outside when it’s 102 degrees and sun beating down on you knowing you can’t read their tablet in the bright light of you tried and tell you a bunch of lies.
Had one of their guys doing service on our street. They stopped and asked if we wanted to do a one time spray for 40 dollars. We said ok. Now they are charging us every month and say there will be a 200 cancellation fee when that is not what their rep told us at all. We were lied to.
I was serviced by a tech named Jonh Tow , his customer service skills were exceptional he took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and how he was going to fix it he really took the time to address all my concerns and put my mind at ease I will definitely be recommending him to my colleagues
It’s been four weeks since I received my initial service with this company. I absolutely loved the customer service and the person that came out was great. He was super friendly and professional. However, in these past four weeks, our problem has become worse. I’ve had to get bug killer from our local hardware store and try to address this issue ourselves. Any time I have tried to reach HAWX regarding thing problem, I’m either on hold for a while and then they hang up on me or I’m placed on a call back list and I NEVER receive a call back. Not only am I losing insane amounts of money on groceries, but I’m spending a lot of money on top of what hawx is charging me monthly to try to fix this myself! Do yourself a favor and go with a different pest control company.
Edit: Just spoke with two different people. Do NOT sign up with these people. They do not care at all about any of my concerns. They are telling me to just RISK my dogs health and continue to use their products that do NOT work!My husband signed up for this service but I will be canceling as soon as I can speak with someone. We waited until the next day to let our dog out and she ended up having a severe allergic reaction so had to take her to the Emergency vet. We don’t want to risk that happening again. Also we’ve been in the house for a year and have had no bug problems until now. Ever since they treated the house we’re dealing with baby roaches. Now I’ll have to go buy extra chemicals to handle it.

2022-08-02I highly recommend this company. I liked that there were several levels to choose from and the salesman (Tristan) did a great job at explaining all of my options. We have had several pest control salesman at our front door and none have been as personable as Tristan. He was great at being informative but not pushy. He was polite and the experience was great. He knew the answers to every question I asked and was extremely thorough. The guy was there to service my home for the first time in just a few hours. I would highly recommend this company!

The technicians are polite and respectful, but there is a technician in particular who due to his excellent service and magnificent attitude, motivated me to write this review today, something that I do not do often. His name is Isaac Williams, his service today has been the best I have had since I hired this company more than 2 years ago. Isaac is not only super nice, polite, and courteous, but he’s also very professional. I was impressed with the thorough job he did in my house. He went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the services. People like Isaac Williams, make people like me continue paying happily for this kind of service. 2022-03-14I was scheduled for service between 10a.m. and noon. Jerry called an hour ahead and they showed up early!! Fantastic. Terrence and Jerry arrived at 9:30 and did a complete job quickly and efficiently. Both of them were knowledgeable, professional and more importantly they were nice...and POLITE! 2022-06-06Terrance should be the face of your company. He should be the first worker that every new customer meets. I was close to giving up on your company but Terrance gave me hope and if he services our house every time in the future I will remain a loyal customer. I will even recommend your company and Terrance specifically to neighbors and friends. He could teach your other technicians about how to interact with customers and make them feel valued. The previous technicians did not make me feel valued as a customer. I don’t know why they are still working for the company honestly. If you take care of your employees they should take care of the customers. So please take care of your employees and teach them how to interact with customers. It makes a huge difference.

2022-05-19I purchased the service yesterday and Kevin came out right in time, actually early, and sprayed the inside and outside of my home as well as swept the eaves for nests and webs. He applied a granular chemical to the yard. He was very courteous, professional and patient and gave me a few traps just in case.So far so good with Hawx. Its only been one day of being a customer and Im impressed with Kevins service. Now just need to wait and see if no bugs come in house and the wasps are away.I would recommend Hawx. Kevin did a great job.

2022-08-04I have been doing business with Hawx for a couple of months now. I am very satisfied with our service so far. Kyle Steere was our technician today. He was very professional and polite and an all around joy to do business with! I have seen a huge decrease in bug activity compared to when we first purchased the home. I would definitely recommend this company. :)
