Always good advice and has plenty of chemical in stock. Service is best when you walk in, they’re a little tough to get a hold of on the phone at times.
Very impressed with the service. J.C. was very helpful and knowlegable concerning the different aspects of the hot tub choices. We were looking for a hot tub for our second home in Kerrville and he went out of his way to get the tub (Hotspring Envoy) delivered and installed while we were away. When we arrived a week later, the tub was installed, water balanced, and hot! I would recommend them highly for the outstanding service.
We stopped in to have them test a sample of pool water. They were very helpful and gave us a lot of good advice.
I love this store and the people who work here,they are always saving me from pool disaster as I learn to take care of my new pool

2019-04-13These people are incredible! Bought our hot tub from them and we have been treated so good. We called and told them that we were having issues after our hard freezing temps. They sent a gentleman who did not quit until he had the problem solved and fixed. They are great!

2017-08-18The staff is very friendly & helpful. Greg & Raphael really know the spa side. We had bought a spa from them & the price, we couldnt beat. Their service during & after installation was excellent. They were always happy to answer all of our questions since we had never owned a spa before. Would Highly recommend this place.

2019-07-31Kerrville is lucky to have such a great pool supply store! I live in a neighboring town and we should have a pool supply store but dont. The guys working at Hill Country Pools & Spas are a wealth of knowledge in pool chemistry and were happy to help me get my pool looking beautiful. Thanks again!

2017-08-14We were all told that Hill Country Pools and Spas offered an independent five-year warranty on the spa (when the pop and I went to see it, the saleswoman told us of the five-year, no-strings warranty provided by Hill Country).This morning, despite my mentioning to Greg/Craig (the repair person also part owner) during one of his visits in the past month that the five-year warranty was why we bought it from Hill Country rather than from Amazon at half the price, Greg/Craig is now denying everything we heard at our multiple visits to their store prior to purchase - and denying he heard me say to him in last month that their five-year store warranty was the reason we bought from them.He has been unable to repair it over the past month. It took a week to get him to come to my home after I reported a serious problem. This mornings telephone conversation is the first time he decided it was not under warranty despite my mentioning it to him and another store telephone presence over past month with no billing for service and parts to date. I was even told it was my electric circuit requiring me to have an electrician come and scratch his head because nothing was wrong with my breaker box or electrical lines.We all (grown daughters and this senior adult couple) heard the saleswoman regarding their five-year warranty on all components and we actively discussed it as the primary reason to buy through the local dealer rather than Amazon with a price less than half the local dealer.So they do not honor warranties, they are unable to repair items they sell, and I now have a useless fantasy spa in my backyard.We should have bought Amazon and used Amazons extended warranty. At least I know Amazon will not abandon us the way Hill Country has.

2019-04-22I would like to have given them less. The customer service was less than acceptable. Never going back. The old staff seemed much more knowledgeable. Sorry the store has gone downhill so quickly.
