We stayed one night and the overall experience was great. Hotel and room were clean. Staff was friendly. Checkin process was quick. Parking was ample - even for a trailer. Definitely recommend.
This is hands down the BEST Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. Every Holiday Inn Express operator would benefit from visiting this property in Brenham, TX and take lessons from Al Patel. His HIE provides a wonderful experience and is unsurpassed in service, cleanliness, and comfort. I just cannot say enough good things. Thank you Al!
Perfect place to stay. staff was fantastic. pool was taken over by a large family, but oh well! very comfy beds. very clean room. The breakfast was awesome, and the lady who did the breakfast...soooo sweet and helpful.
Management was able to resolve issue with someone who charged items to my room without my permission or checking ID or room key from whoever told front desk the wrong room number to charged. My visit for training class was great and room was cleaned and bed made everyday which was very nice to come back and relax while studying for NWIS Institute. Thank you for fixing issue.
I highly recommend this Location the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We stayed in a King standard room we were very pleased with the rate of our room. The layout of the room allowed us to feel right at home. Loved that there was a fridge and microwave w/kitchen area in our room. Great Pool was clean and gated, Breakfast had a good variety of selections and had perfect available times. It was the perfect stay!!
I highly recommend this Location the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We stayed in a King standard room with a military rate it was the perfect price and we were very pleased with the discount. The room was perfect! The layout of the room allowed us to feel right at home. There was a fridge, microwave w/kitchen area, desk area, and suitcase area. The bathroom and living space was very spacious and clean. There was a chase lounge with lamp, each side of the bed had floating night stands with open shelving space for your phones with ample outlets for charging. Along with great lighting above the nightstands and behind bed. Big TV with lots of channels, Great Pool that was clean and gated, Breakfast had a good variety of selections and had perfect available times. Lots of nearby restaurants was nice. Pizzaiolo’s was a block away and was the best pizza I had ever had. Very friendly staff. We had a great stay.
Always fresh and clean! Staff makes you feel welcome…especially the breakfast lady!The pillows are soft and the walk in shower is amazing! Even your choice of soaps is a good one! Great stay…every time!
We (myself, my wife, son and grandson) travelled to Brenham for my nephews Wedding. We stayed two night in two rooms. The room accommodations were excellent and very clean. As I understand it, there were several other wedding parties also staying in the Holiday Inn Express, you could expect a bit of celebration going on, However, it was the quietest hotel I can remember ever staying in after 30 years of business and personal travel. The morning breakfast buffet was very good. My kudos to the staff and ownership.
We had a perfect stay. The only problem was in finding our way to the hotel. GoogleMaps and Mapquest had us going through the Lowes parking lot, but the road was blocked off. We attempted another route but missed the turn to the hotel because the sign near the road is very, very small.
Everything was clean, nice and good was great! Employee checked me in fast when we arrived. Room and key were ready and waiting. Bed was so comfy!! Loved the pillows
Giving it 3 stars because the room was very nice and clean, but the mattress was hard as a rock! I have stayed in cheaper hotels and had a softer mattress! Like sleeping on padded concrete!
Brehnam is a small town so I was expecting an older hotel. However, when I arrived I noticed it was a new building. I was still not expecting what I saw. The room and bathroom was huge and clean. It was a short stay but a relaxing one.
Hotel was very clean and I got a great nights sleep. Breakfast was a treat. Quality of food was above what I expected. Also the toiletries were of higher quality than I am accustom to from other hotels of this star rating.
I love staying at Holiday Inn Express. Rooms and bathrooms are always clean and comfortable. Of course breakfast is included making it a no brainer. A little pricey but worth the extra cost to ensure you get the level of clean you expect.
Clean! Great staff. Spacious room. I don’t particularly like the toiletries and no extras at all… (mouthwash, make up pad, one soap etc). Prices went up and less items offered. BUT clean, quiet & spacious. The most important things.
Just checked out, its a standard Holiday Inn in a decent location. We never felt unsafe nor was it too loud (traffic). Close to almost everything in town, so that was another plus. Staff was polite and despite our quick stay we felt welcomed.
Was charged for items from room service that I did not ask for. The manager claims it was me and won’t resolve my issue. I was here for business and did not stay up late out drinking as he claims when these charges were made. I went across the street to Walmart for any food or drink purchases and brought them to my room and no additional purchase at the front desk.
We go to Brenham a lot and ALWAYS stay here. The staff is friendly, the rooms very comfortable, location convenient, close to 290, 36, HEB and Walmart what can I say. If you are going to visit the Brenham area this hotel gives you the best bang for your buck. What a minute, I take that back, I want to make sure there are rooms available when I come back- dont stay here. lol
We enjoyed a few nights in Brenham as part of a Texas History field trip with my 4th grader. The hotel was in a great location and was clean. Our room was huge. The pool and fitness center were closed due to covid, which we didnt know about prior to arriving but can understand. They offered healthy breakfast options such as egg white omelets and low fat granola. Wed stay there again.

Worth a shot for sure. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in awhile and I travel a lot. Room was very nice as was the whole property. The breakfast could have been a little better but good compared to the local competitors.
The staff was great... I was there on business and my stay got extended twice. The front desk really did a great job, extending my stay and keeping the same room, even with antique show and football games going on in the region.
You will love your stay here! We really enjoyed the Brenham hotel stay. The Gonzales experience was ever so slightly lower but still excellent! We will stay in Holiday Inn Express hotels only from now on!
Tried to use the tesla charger 2 different times. It did not work either time. It may be you have to stay as a guest? Not reliable for travelers.
Exceptional cleanliness and a more varied breakfast that I’ve seen in other properties during COVID-19. Pretty close to Downtown Brenham and with a couple of food options around the property! I enjoyed my stay. I wish the pool had been open, but I understand.
Staff was great, the hotel is very clean and breakfast is good.
This hotel features nice new common areas and rooms. The beds and sheets were better than average. Both of our rooms climate control systems worked well. Check in and check out were easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our rooms were cleaned well. We had the following negative issues with our stay. The toilet had a water saving bladder flush system that completely stopped working after every flush. I had to fix the toilet flush system after every flush. Fitness center and pool were closed. The reduction of the breakfast menu seemed cheap. There could be more individual packaged items. Also, there were no primary protein items on the breakfast.
We had a very quiet and relaxing visit to Brenham. Staff made it simple to check in. Took less than 3 minutes. Room was very clean and housekeeping came and cleaned with only 2 night stay which has not been the case in other hotels this last year.
I have to travel to Brenham TX after the snowstorm in February 2021. I am surprise how quick this hotel was able to recover from the power outage and they have no issue with water supply. They served hot breakfast daily and cleaned the room with fresh bedsheet even during the COVID-19. Friendly staff, large room with fridge/ microwave, and good location. Close proximity to Walmart, H.E.B., and Applebees.
When we arrived at the hotel , the receptionist was very friendly and efficient checking us in. The room was larger than we expected and very clean. The next morning , the young lady working the buffet was very friendly and gave us lots of choices and she was keeping the area very clean. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
Our stay was great! We arrived at 5am after being at the hospital for our grand daughters birth. John at the front desk was so kind and accommodating both on the phone and in person! We had been turned down at another hotel because they had already done their night audit. We were exhausted and emotionally spent, but John made sure we had a clean room ready when we arrived. The AC worked great in the room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! We slept great and ended up staying 3 nights instead of 1! 10/10 recommend and will stay here again!
The room was cold, clean and very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Loved the JR Watkins bath products!

The hotel was nice and very clean and staff was nice. The scrambled eggs on Saturday were good, however the spongey omlets on Sundays are terrible. But that’s IHG’s breakfast at all holiday inn expresses.
My daughter and I stayed at this property during the first week of the Round Top Antique Show. We had a lovely room that was clean and comfortable. Property is newish with an outstanding shower. The soap dispensers in the shower were a nice touch, as I hate trying to get enough shampoo out of those little bottles provided at most hotels. The bed was comfortable and everything in the room was clean and operational. Only negatives were that the person upstairs was very heavy footed and we could hear his every move. And, the cinnamon rolls were not as fresh as I remembered them being the last time I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. The location is set back from the road and may be hard to find at night.

Loved everything about our stay here! We a traveling sports family and stay in a lot of hotels and this one has been one of my favorite! Clean, nice employees, breakfast variety, hot water in shower, everything was great!
A hotel is a hotel. Watch a bit of TV, sleep, clean bathroom is a good stay. The staff at this hotel make it a great place to stay. Always helpful and efficient- they go above and beyond to make your stay a great one. I stay here several times a year- always top notch. Cant wait till Covid is over and can use all amenities.
Pulled off as I was too tired to keep driving. They made it as easy as coming home. Good breakfast with pancake machine, though Id prefer actual maple syrup.
I have stayed at a few of the newer and older hotels in Brenham, and I have to say that this is a premier experience compared to all others.Start with the staff. They cannot do enough for you. Friendly, cheerful and they go overboard in granting any request you have. Breakfast is incredible. An automatic pancake machine is awesome, as was the choice of eggs, sausage, cereals, and assorted breads and pastries. Good coffee too. This, combined with the great patio to sit out on in the mornings made for a great experience. Everything was very clean and bright both in the public areas an room. Spacious and bright modern rooms and bathroom, microwave and fridge. Although I did not get to use it, the well-equipped gym looked good, as did the pool. The best place I have ever stayed in Brenham and for that matter, many other places in this type of lodging.
Enjoyed this location. Rooms were clean. Sets back from the road. So, makes for a quieter stay. Big grassy area out front of hotel if you are traveling with pets. Only caveat is the entrance and exit to the frontage road is steep. So, watch when exiting onto frontage road

In town visiting the in laws and have had such a lovely time so far at this location. Rooms are clean which is important, and the hotel is in a safe area.
See comments in survey and add that the following morning, when I asked the manager why the fitness center was closed and the outdoor pool he stated that it was IHG policy. I advised him that in fact I had stayed in a IHG property last week and they had their fitness center open. He then stated it was actually due to staff shortages. He could not open anything without staff. And anyway in Brenham last year they had a big outbreak so he decided this was good for him. Guests and their comfort not considered. The lights in the room kept blowing a fuse when you plugged anything into a socket like a laptop. He reset them twice and the said not to plug anything in!!!
I stayed at the hotel for business. The hotel was very nice. The front desk attendant was very nice and informative. I have a few questions in regards to the reward points process and he was able to answer them with no problem. The room was very nice and spacious. The bed and pillows were soft. I didn’t have any issues with noise at all. The breakfast was good also. The bacon was definitely the best part of the breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again when I have to stay in Brenham again.
Cleanliness level was very good. It is located behind a Hampton Inn. The street that you turn on to ( a right turn) that goes to the site is off a service road along the freeway and comes up very quickly, so watch carefully. Signage of where to turn could be improved. Otherwise this location is consistent with the other Holiday Inn Express locations I have stayed in, which is good overall.
Hotel colors are blues and grays; SO MUCH BETTER than hotels with the 1980s oranges and rusts! Hotel is CLEAN. Bathrooms have ROOM for your things! ONLY caveat: The breakfast, Omelets. They were a yellow, spongy substance. All other breakfast foods were really good! :D
Comfy room that was very clean and recently updated. The shower head wasn’t too short which is usually a problem for my 6’3” boyfriend. The room was bigger than we expected as well.
After a full day of my granddaughter and I at the softball park we were too exhausted to drive home. I was so happy with the easy check in and the clean comforting. Breakfast the next morning was perfect!
We needed lodging while we where in Brenham, TX for a baseball tournament. Holiday inn express fulfilled all of our needs and we really enjoyed the stay. This location is highly recommended.
Stayed one night for daughters softball tournament at Holt Park in Brenham. Staff was awesome, breakfast was superior. Hotel was well maintained and the staff was excellent. This hotel will definitely be our 1st choice for all future visits to Brenham Texas.
I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites. I feel confident staying in these hotels, and this one did not disappoint. The room was spacious and modern. Everything worked well and was clean. The bed was comfortable and I had a great night sleep. I was able to hear some of the people next door. But outside of that, it was a great stay.
Great hotel. Very attentive and professional staff. Awesome bed comfort. Very broad complimentary breakfast in a very nice setting just off the lobby. I have stayed here twice and have already booked a two night business trip next week. These folks - make the stay simple and worth the value. I recommend this location for all business travelers. There were families with kids there as well and they seemed to be enjoying the pool! Very nice property.
Brand new hotel, very clean, quiet and big parking spaces so I could open my pickup doors and not hit the car next to me. They had to do shorter breakfast options due to COVID protocols but thats everywhere. Rooms were very clean and friendly staff. Easy to get on and off the frontage road, a plus.
A very nice hotel. It was very clean and had a large comfortable king bed room. I was very happy with my stay here. The staff were also very friendly.They do have a small selections of snacks and drinks that you can get at any time. They overcharge a bit but not ridiculously like Ive seen at other places.The have modern bathrooms with a stall shower.
This is a new hotel and very clean. We had plush comfortable beds and got great service from the staff. I would recommend this property anytime.
We loved the décor and color combinations at this property. The outdoor area provided an inviting environment away from the noise of the busy highway. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with a cup of complimentary coffee, warm sunshine on the patio beside the fire pit. The room was clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the shower heads. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.
The new hotel is very nice and comfortable. I really liked the new decor of the hotel. The beds and pillows were very comfortable . The rooms very big and clean . The breakfast was good but could maybe have a little more otherwise a great hotel. I really liked that in the breakfast area they had an employee there to make sure everyone was taken care of and everything was full at all times. Very nice !
Everything was very nice. Clean! Staff friendly and helpful. Only reason rated a 9 on bed was that I need a soft bed due to hip problems. The bed was almost perfect. Best I have ever had in a hotel! Really like the lighting. Came home and ordered a similar desk lamp for my desk.
My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. The room was extremely roomy and clean. It smelled fresh. Auotmatic curtains and blinds darkened the room perfectly. The bed was comfy and the a-c would freeze you out if you wanted it too.The bathroom was huge and clean and had jugs of soap, shampoo and conditioner built into the shower! The water pressure was good and the water got hot.
We made last minute reservations and the hotel was accommodating to our schedule. They permitted us to check in early. The pool and gym were closed due to COVID but we had a relaxing evening by the outside firepit...
Stayed here for 1 night. The entire experience was excellent. The room and grounds were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good for your typical free breakfast. The cost was higher than the other local hotels but completely worth it. Bed was very comfortable and there are plenty of plugs as well as USB ports to charge all of your devices.
We come into Brenham to visit the 4Star Concert hall and sometimes like to spend the night after a show. We have been trying different places and prefer commercial over bed and breakfast. The Holiday inn was a pleasant surprise. Relatively new, very clean, nicely furnished. The lighting was better than most hotels and the bathroom mirror light was one of the best I have gotten to use. I was shocked they even had a fan in the bathroom, something that is missing in most hotels, even nice ones! Breakfast was the standard hotel included fare for theses types of national chains. Friendly front desk staff.
This hotel stay was more than we expected. Very clean, either a new hotel or recently remodeled. Quick check in/checkout. Excellent breakfast buffet including those famous warm delicious cinnamon rolls. And if not a reward member, become one for extra perks. Loved this stay!!
We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn in Brenham. The hotel was clean. The staff was attentive. Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. Our room was spacious. We were traveling for a softball tournament and our room was spacious. We brought along luggage, a wagon, equipment bags, coolers, a speaker and it all fit without coming close to making us feel crowded!
Others have mentioned that the hotel is hard to get to, and I agree, but once you find it its not that hard to get in and out of. Check-in was excellent; everyone we dealt with during our stay was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar could have used more items, but the attendant was friendly and helpful too. The only complaint I would make is that the shower was not as clean as I would have expected for the newness of the building.
This is one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express that i have stayed with. My room was super clean and well appointed and the entire property was well kept. Really the only thing that was a bother was my room was right above the patio area. There should be a policy that they shut it down at 9:30 or 10. Drunk people can be extremely loud and inconsiderate of other guests. It was like they were in my room having a party. The breakfast was sparse i guess due to Covid, but, thats no excuse for lousy coffee.

Great hotel. Clean, and quiet. Plus they still have a good breakfast. The internet was a bit on the weak side. If I would have had my Xbox it would have struggled, but it was good enough to stream movies at a lower resolution. Other then that. Its close to places to eat and drink and in very good location.
This hotel offered a friendly welcoming staff, followed up with a very clean room and bathroom. It was an enjoyable stay with a great breakfast.
Room was fine but Im rating due to price. - online for king bed room was $129 yet somehow translated into $174 for a very ordinary room with king bed. That perhaps wouldnt have been so annoying if I hadnt just stayed at a very similar Holiday Inn Express near the Albany NY airport for $129,000 (same bedding and furnishings, same breakfast, etc). Asked for bottled water for room and was told those were only given out during Round Top. Seems very petty on the part of owner/manager. Odd location behind Hampton Inn which seemed to be full whereas this HIE was almost empty on a quiet weekday.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff! Loved the pillows and comforter, since it would be considered stealing and the fact I might go to jail I wouldve put them up my shirt or in my suitcase! HahaThey didnt have waffles but they did have pancakes and the breakfast was delicious. Next time I come to Brenham to visit my sister and mom i will definitely stay here again!P.s. my grandson, daughter in law and son came also and the staff put a crib in their room, very thoughtful!
Welcoming staff! Friendly service and top notch clean room! They took extra precautions with our safety by providing masks and hand sanitizer at various stations . Surfaces were always being sanitized..I was completely satisfied with my stay!

Stayed only one night, wished I could have stayed longer but I was on a schedule. This is a really nice hotel, and my room was fantastic, and they have a real breakfast for their guests. I will come back here....it is that good.
The hotel was very clean and smelled nice when I walked in. Room and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfortable, and hotel was relaxing and quiet. Only problem was that the maids were in the lobby sitting on the couches talking away on their phones. One even had it on speaker phone, so we could hear her whole conversation. I thought it was very unprofessional for them to be relaxing or taking a break in the lobby, that area is supposed to be for guests.
Beautiful hotel. Loved my time there. Only complaint - my pancakes were not done :) Boo Hoo! Would stay again if in the area but would eat the waffles!! Just kidding :) I am 85 and had a great time - of course, at my age anywhere is a great time. Thanks for asking - God Bless.
Brand new hotel, with great staff. A little drive away from downtown but still a nice location. My only complaint is the sheets could’ve been a little bit softer. The hotel was spotless and had all the amenities you expect from holiday inn express. My family had a wonderful time and we would stay here again.
Now this is a wonderful hotel. We always kinda dislike going to Brenham because of the hotel choices but not Now!This place is brand spanking new and the staff work hard at keeping it nice. The lobby is really great for working on my laptop with all the outlets. Breakfast was great and free! Ha.The parking lot even has a free electronic vehicle charging station. Who would have thought of that as being an amenity.Recommendation: do not listen to Google if it take you through Lowes parking lot to get to the place. You have to access it using the service road from the highway. The old folks home put up a barrier to stop the traffic from Lowes.
Nice place to stay. The rooms were well cleaned and the service is good here also. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good esp compared to others Ive had over the years. They have modern furniture/ design in the rooms with good lighting and handy features for charging phones.
We love this hotel! This was our 3rd stay here when we have visited our son at Blinn. The staff is very friendly..front desk, ladies cleaning our room, and the breakfast staff. You can tell they are proud of what they do and want to make your experience relaxing and enjoyable. The beds are comfy, room was very clean, we were very pleased with our stay and will stay here again!
The hotel was fresh and clean with a friendly breakfast staff. The front desk staff were not as friendly and wanted to charge for a roll away bed which was disappointing as that had never been our experience before. This hotel also cost more than the average small town hotel so the extra fee was unexpected with how much the room already cost. The room was lovely and quiet and we rested well. We ultimately had a good experience despite the price gouging.
This was a very nice hotel. All the employees were very professional. The rooms were very nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each room has a coffee pot, microwave and a small refrigerator. You dont hear any noise while in your room or the hallways. They offer you a wide of variety of things for breakfast from pancakes ,waffles,eggs, sausage ,biscuits , fruit, cereal etc
The front desk clerk was so friendly upon arrival! Room was clean and perfect for me and my girls! Tons of plug ins for the electronics, a/c was perfectly cold, and pillows were so amazing I almost asked to buy one! Hotel owner was there as well and was actually very friendly to staff and guests! Thanks for the great stay! I will be back!
The hotel is only four months old so everything was pristine. The grounds are well manicured and the room was quite roomy and comfortable. I especially liked the double shades rather than curtains, which often get caught in air conditioning or cant keep out early morning sun. The breakfast selection offered something for every taste. Overall, this was worth trying over the hotel where we usually stay in Brenham. We will be back.
Breakfast left a LOT to be desired. Sorry guys, the room was very clean and VERY comfortable. The staff was very friendly but the breakfast was disappointing compared to the Staybridge hotels weve stayed at for the same (actually a little less) rate.Keep up the great work, but please choose some higher quality menu items.
Friends and I stayed recently and the beds were extremely comfortable and the outside seating area was so relaxing. The front desk staff were very helpful and offered to split the room charge between myself and friend. It was an overall great experience. Highly recommend this location.

I cannot say enough good things about this visit. Our room was exceptional. I was so happy when I noticed the liquid body wash rather than the nasty bar type soap. Just cannot seem to get all the soap removed using the bar type. This review is late as I forgot it and was reminded upon making another reservation in a different city. I cannot remember the name of the woman who was working the check-in counter but she was so pleasant. We inquired about possible dinner locations and she offered various ones depending on food type. We really enjoyed our dinner spot. We need to visit again soon!
Our baseball team stayed here for a tournament and were all very pleased with everything. We will book this hotel again and look for it in other cities when we have tournaments. The price is great! The service is great! Hotel is clean and offers a great breakfast! This will always be our choice for a hotel in the future l!
Conveniently located off the 290. Very clean rooms and quiet for being close to the freeway. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent. They are very clean and recently renovated. The beds are very comfortable. You get a good selection from the hot breakfast offered each morning.
I am absolutely happy staying at this hotel. It is new and houses contemporary rooms. The staff are courteous and I had no trouble when they took care of my special requests. Only thing is, this hotel offers a traditional continental breakfast like any other holiday inn in USA. I am unsure whether it is controlled by IHG. If there is a room to improve the breakfast items to be more healthy than just lining items that mostly pumps processed sugar into your body. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who visits Brenham, TX.
We were visiting Brenham for a bicycle rally. Check in was prompt Nd efficient. The staff was friendly. The room was clean! Daily housekeeping service was excellent. I loved the walk-in shower! The only thing I missed was soy or almond milk at breakfast. Here was a good breakfast selection.
Everything was great, my only complaint would be that the hotel was a little warm for my liking. It felt like the heater was on and the temperatures were in the 70’s. We adjusted our thermostat, but the ac didn’t kick on. In all fairness we did not report the issue to the front desk. I am sure it would have been remedied.
The new design Holiday Inn is great. Staff was friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable, except for the mattresses. We had stayed at another new Express for three nights about a year ago and the mattresses seemed to be less hard. While mattresses are definately a matter of preference, We both had a somewhat sleepless night and woke up with aches and pains we didnt have the day before and our driving time from home to the hotel was only an hour. Everything else was great
Clean hotel and the lady is so great ! She makes you feel at home and will do anything for you. The rooms are great, and very clean. Location is nice and feels safe! Very important to be able to leave your car where u feel it is safe. Nice to get up to breakfast with all you need! Great food!

This hotel is a great and modern location. The lighting in the rooms and elsewhere is great, with plenty of lights in the room. Maintenance has done a great job over the years and it shows! Keep up the good work!
Very clean Place very nice right off of 290 easy to get two people are friendly was there for a wedding this weekend still a very nice place to go people are very friendly there always cleaning keeping it in really tip top shape
We stayed 2 nights - front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was fine - your typical fare - would prefer more variety.
I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express in Brenham, Tx. Brand new hotel so it doesnt get much better than that. Exceptionally clean, pleasant and accommodating staff, and they have THE most comfortable bed Ive ever slept on! Great service. I totally recommend this hotel. The location was good as well. Nice restaurants in close proximity. Price was a little steep, but have to say it was worth it.
Hotel is located near Blinn College. Great location while dropping off or picking up student. Staff is very courteous and extremely helpful. Always ready to assist when needed. I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed the breakfast. Very clean and a wonderful variety. I am sure I will return.
The hotel is fairly new with great amenities. Rooms were clean and comfortable and was even cooled off when we walked in. The bed was a little soft for me but we all have different tastes. I’d recommend this place and I’ll stay there again.

Had a pretty horrible stay at a Holiday Inn Express in Abilene Texas awhile back, and swore we would never stay at a Holiday Inn again. Well we needed to go to Brenham and the hotel selection is very limited so we gave Holiday Inn another shot. And the Brenham location put our faith back in the brand! From the front desk staff, to the very clean and comfortable room, to a very hot and delicious breakfast, we were very pleased!!
Everything was fantastic , the front desk clerk was extremely helpful with maps. Breakfast was delicious. Room and bath were clean as well as the common areas
This hotel was the best Holiday Inn Express Ive stayed at. I was totally impressed with the staff at this hotel. It was clean and everyone was friendly and accommodating.
The staff is extremely friendly and provide wonderful service. The rooms and grounds are clean and is overall a better than average Holiday Inn Express. The only thing Id improve is the eggs/omelette and bacon...but thats at all of them. Taste a bit too fake. Other than that, great place.
The service was great and my room was clean didnt have issues with that, I was not happy with the breakfast. They have a machine for pancakes and once they come out they are raw. I was expecting a waffle machine like all the other hotels. I give a thumbs down for breakfast. I ended going out for breakfast instead..
The hotel itself is comfortable but falls short on maintenance. The electrical plugs on either side of the bed didnt work nor did the USB ports. Additionally the plug and USB by the desk didnt work either. During check-out I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk who made no apologies but merely made a note. Additionally we werent provided any bottled water during check-in as we have at all other locations in the past.
The hotel was great! Nice lobby and breakfast area with lots of breakfast options and the food was very good. Comfortable bed and pillows. AC worked GREAT. Bathroom was nicely appointed and had good lighting and well stocked with towels and sundries.

A brand new modern hotel with all the amenities you would expect at a holiday inn express. The hotel had comfortable beds, swimming pool, good working design of the rooms, great toiletries, and good hot breakfast. A complementary happy hour would have been perfect.
The hotel was all around wonderful! It was new and very clean! The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable too! The kids enjoyed the pool area which offered some shade! The breakfast was decent as well!! Staff was very friendly!
Everything looks good about this hotel except one thing. In the breakfast lounge they are using thermocol plates and bowls (styrofoam is a type of plastic. And plastic doesnt play nice in the microwave). Would be nice if they can use paper products and steel jugs to pour the coffee in coffee container.Rooms are very specious and cleaned.
I booked this hotel for my sons Wedding which was being held at a nearby venue. It provided guests with an opportunity to stay nearby and not have to travel after a night of festivities! The hotel was extremely helpful in getting a block of rooms, and accomodating our guests. Having the Breakfast the next morning as everyone was leaving was great as we were able to visit with everyone in the lobby before heading back to their final destinations.
Hotel rooms are clean,comfortable and well-appointed. The foyer full length mirror featuring a corner shelf with plugs was perfect for room with more than one female getting ready. The lobby set-up makes for a good “team” meeting or multiple small breakouts.
This new in 2017 hotel was designed with everything you would want. It has beautiful landscaping and interior. The rooms are lovely and include a luggage rack that serves as a bench with room underneath for additional things. The breakfast offerings were generous and delicious.
These guys are awesome and I cant wait to return. The staff members are so helpful. The rooms are a nice size and very clean. I was by the elevators but it wasnt to bad. I was on the third floor and it was very quite. I even had hot water at a nice temp.
We booked our room for business purposes but decided to stay an extra night due to the quality of the hotel. The staff is exceptional and the facility is amazing. We have stay at numerous Holiday In hotels and the color choices where comforting and energizing.The room was beyond expectations. We will be staying here again!
Everything is new and clean. Beds are great. Plenty of parking and well lit areas. The only issue is the entrance to road is obscured and hard to find after dark. No lights on sign that is set close to the ground and not visible from highway, only visible on the road after youve turned onto it. Be careful of steep drop off on either side if you miss the road, GPS tries to route you to the Lowes parking lot and the road is closed off on their side.
We really liked the cleanliness and friendly staff at this hotel. The breakfast staff was especially attentive to our needs. It was just a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend.
I come there to relax. The hotels are clean an present a relaxing feeling. I love the rooms with big walk in shower and the beds are so comfortable. Of course also the breakfast they present are awesome. Thank you and keep it up
I cannot thank the team at the Brenham Holiday Inn enough for their excellent service for our wedding weekend stay! The majority of our guests, family and wedding party were at this hotel as well and the service and help was above and beyond. Al and his team were more than willing to accommodate any of our requests and with a smile! It was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend!
Very Very nice hotel. Unfortunately there is a lot of pipeline work going on in the area which has a large percentage or appeared to be a lrge percentage of the guests being pipeline workers and no matter how often the staff cleaned up after them, there was mud trails throughout the hotel and the constant smell of gas/fuel, even in the hallways. I believe everyone deserves a nice place to rest especially as hard as these guys work, but this nice new hotel will not be nice and new for long in this environment.
Clean, new facility, nice pool and fire pit area. Tired of the same old choices for breakfast. Did not like the new matteress or pillows like the ones at the older Holiday Inn. Plastic covers crinkle. Staff was friendly. Need more luggage carts. None available for checkout. Guess guests kept in room overnight. I would like to see ice tea for breakfast. Will not be staying here for non-business not pet friendly. Holiday Inn is losing a lot of business by not being a leader in being pet friendly at a lot of their facilities.
Its a very quite ducked off spot. Breakfast is awesome. Front desk excellent customer service. Rooms are nice and clean the lobby also. Ill recommend you to have a stay.
We were very glad to see an actual bathtub as many hotels no longer have them. Didnt care for the bath toiletries attached high on the wall. If you want to take a bubble bath, it makes it very hard. Are the tops of those containers sanitized every day?

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Brenham, TX. A brand-new hotel, the room was excellent, a super comfortable bed and linens along with a bathroom I want in my own house. Staff was wonderful, breakfast yummy, and they even had a pizza party one evening where we socialized with the other guests.Loved it, and will return ASAP.
I know with crisis in the World now I should not complain, but I was disappointed in Breakfast with no HOT service. We also wanted to try the pool but it was closed. As it turned out it was raining when we got up so it did not matter. Overall it is a great facility and will come back. We just need to get over this Covid-19 thing.
Once I pulled in to the new looking hotel I expected a full parking lot looking for a place to park. Parking was spacious and was able to get a lot near the door. Check in was fast and the room comfortable. Watched HBO in room and breakfast was good but could use a bit more variety.

This hotel was very pleasant and the rooms were very clean. The bathrooms were large and had everything we needed.
Only thing we found appealing about this hotel were the staff. The walls are paper thin, and its hard to sleep with doors slamming all night or plople stomping above you.The room had poop on the side of the toliet by handle that was very visable, that truly had me questioning the cleaning staff and services.We were supposed to stay 2 days but after day 1, that was enough. We left extremely tired and disgusted.
I always find this hotel very comfortable and accommodating. From the General Manager Al, to all of the front desk personnel, Valerie, James, John, and Jessica. To the cleaning crews and breakfast room personnel that are always cheerful, and always greet you with a smile. It makes traveling all the time for work a nicer experience.
Very clean facility, staff was great , the new pillows were the best. Very comfortable bed. I slept like a baby every night. Excellent hotel stay. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the area.
At the Holiday Inn I have stayed there several times it is small set very private and the beds are wonderful and they clean the rooms everyday everybodys so friendly
Hotel is brand new. Staff is friendly, especially the lady who tends the continental breakfast. House keeping leaves something to be desired though because there was someone elses hair in the bathroom floor when we arrived. Good experience overall though!
Rooms were very clean upon arrival. Front desk staff was polite during check in. However, the manager was very disrespectful upon check out. Rude enough that I will never stay with my family at this hotel again. Disappointing to say the least.
Overall it was a good stay, We usually prefer jetted tub rooms or a heated pool/hot tub. Room could have been cleaner, old bottle of soda left in fridge and old ice bag left in ice container. Everything else was great. Room was decent size.

Wonderful hotel! Its the newest hotel on the Brenham area ageing about a year old. When they built this place they thought of everything! It is one of the first Formula Blue properties to roll out of the Intercontinental Hotel Groups brand. Not only is the property beautiful but the staff is just as great! They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Breakfast is HOT and the cinnamon rolls are to die for!! Next time youre in Brenham I highly recommend lodging at Holiday Inn Express!
The layout of this newer HIE is wonderful - so functional! Our room was so comfortable and everything extremely clean. Wish there was better signage at the turnoff from the highway feeder (we missed the turn on our first try), but other than that, I think it was the best Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed at, including the desk personnel. And we have stayed at ALOT of them!

New, modern and very clean hotel. The staff was most helpful. I found a lot of variety for breakfast. And am most impressed when you can get eggs at a continental breakfast and not just carbs. There were boiled eggs and two kinds of omelets.
The hotel is modern and very clean. There were many items to chose from for breakfast. We slept well in the comfortable bed. If we ever find ourselves in this area again we would definitely choose this hotel.
We stayed for a softball tournament. The beds were so comfortable and we were able to relax after a long day at the ballpark. The breakfast was hot and fresh allowing us to fuel up for a long day. I couldn’t be be happier with out stay
The widow shades provided excellent daylight blackout capability. Furniture in room was nothing noteworthy. No nightlight in bathroom. Cost seemed high for what we got.
Beautifully new and five minutes from downtown Brenham, this hotel offers a nice pool, plenty of umbrella tables and lounge chairs outside, amazingly comfortable beds, quiet rooms, fully equipped, state-of-art fitness center, delicious breakfast in a boutique hotel setting. I didnt use the business center, but it was well suited for a business traveler. This is the best choice for accommodations if you find your travel takes you to Brenham. Make sure to visit downtown and if you have time, schedule a wine tour.
My husband and I stay in HI Express all the time and we have never seen a hotel like this one. We both just stood in disbelief when we entered the room. The modern upgrades to this new version of HI EX. is to die for. Some things were so modern we had no idea how to use them. (We are in our 70s)The staff took the time to explain everything to us and were so helpful and courteous. Absolutely loved the new design of the breakfast area as well. Wish all HI EX.s were JUST LIKE THIS ONE.Thanks for the best stay ever.

Express Breakfast Team did a great job. Our baseball team had to leave the hotel early for their first game. Earlier than the normal breakfast serving hours listed. Upon mentioning this to the Express staff, they arranged to open Breakfast up early so the team could get the nourishment they needed! Thats service.
Dont follow Google maps if you pass Schultze on the access road. It is a private drive. Beautiful rooms.
This is an excellent new facility with all the latest amenities. Our king deluxe room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The only drawback is the route to get to the hotel! It was not shown on any map app or even the IHG website. It’s difficult to find the road in. You can see the hotel but the obscure road is hard to find especially if you are coming from the north, south or east. It’s only accessible from the service road traveling east on Hwy 290.
I loved the hotel. Very new and clean hotel. Loved all the modern looks of the hotel. The staff was super helpful and very organized. Breakfast was fresh and hot in the morning. Just seemed like an easy stay, while I was there for business.

I had reserved two rooms. Two families coming from different areas..LA and San Antonio. both late arrivals. My GPS sent me way out in the country. . Since I had called several times getting directions,and late arrival, the young man at the front dest even called my cell to see if I was ok..as it was getting dark , I was on a dirt and gravel road, traveling along. That was very imprssing, and considerate. The rooms were perfect. Exceptional placce to stay.
Traveling because of Harvey, went to bueamont to help with flood. Took supplies to homeless shelter. Needed a place to stay on the way home. After driving 11 hours this was the only room within 100 miles at a reasonable price. Service was perfect and my family loved our stay! Breakfast had everything we needed!

I am a business traveler and utilized the wifi, in room desk and the business center printer. All were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel is in great condition. Check-in and check-out were fast and smooth.

The room was clean and very comfortable. A little problem regulating room temperature, but overall stay was very nice. The front desk was very welcoming. Having the Keurig coffee and tea maker was great.

Very nice hotel and great customer service. We had a great stay and a great breakfast as well. It has automatic window blinds which is something you don’t see too often and the A/C is very cold.

When I arrived, I was greeted with a giant sign welcoming me as a platinum member. Although I was using my points for a free room, the desk clerk was super helpful and friendly. I mentioned my sister might show up with her emotional support animal, and there were no questions asked, she just put a note that an animal would be around.I was there for a funeral, but as a type 1 diabetic, I was very pleased to find a refrigerator in my room to store my insulin. Just one less to thing to worry about over the course of my stay.
There was a Womens Workshop and our group alone consisted of 8 women. We knew some others that were staying there as well and wanted to have some fellowship time. Your lobby was a great spot seeing as how the weather wasnt cooperating. Your staff was wonderful and didnt have a problem with us having some fun.

We were traveling home from a vacation and stopped because it was very late and we were tired. There was no one at the front desk and had to be called out to get service and the staff was not familiar with the IHG rewards. When we were unloading our luggage, there was still no one at the front desk. Its very unsettling when the front desk is empty late at night. Thats my opinion; I like to see someone on duty, no matter what time of the night it happens to be

The walk-in shower was likely the best shower we have experienced in all our stays. Easy to get in and out and the water pressure was perfect.Great location for an overnight stay while attending the Bluebonnet festival in Chappell Hill.
We stayed here while moving my son into college from another state. It was very clean and comfortable, just make absolutely sure to check the half pints of milk. Mine was curdled and I didnt realize it had gone bad until I took a drink of my coffee.
Neighbor slamming door for 3 nights in a row. Called down to the front desk and person wouldn’t do anything about it. Terrible customer service 😡 We won’t be staying at this hotel ever again. Shame on Holiday Inn Express for having a front desk person unwilling to help.
I love this new hotel. The beds are comfortable. The room is quiet. The staff is always very friendly. Every time I’ve stayed here I actually enjoy and look forward to the hotel.
This hotel is over priced and the manager is combative and not customer oriented. The Waller Holliday Inn express is just a few minutes away, is every bit as nice, and nearly half the price. I would highly recommend the extra drive. Even though I have business in this town several times a year, I will never use this hotel again.

2022-04-07Staff is truly very helpful & cheerful!!!Rooms are extremely clean. The Breakfast was super great, huge variety of muffins, cereals, pancakes, eggs, sausage … and more! My grandkids LOVES having the pancakes … AND THEIR PANCAKE MAKER IS EXTREMELY SAFE! No touching batter, pouring into a HOT waffle maker! I loved that!! I always try to stay here when I am in Bastrop. I have tried the other hotels in the area and YUCK!!! This place is great! Only 1 downfall … the pool towels need to be bigger LOL!

2021-12-14We stayed there a whole week. I relaxed all day while my husband was taking a class. Service is awesome. They go above and beyond for your needs, very grateful. Quiet lobby for studying. Coffee and breakfast is great....mmm the cinnamon rolls are delicious! Clean rooms and bathrooms are great!

2022-01-22Our move in date was extended so we ended up booking this location for 2.5 weeks. Felt very secure (parking lot) and room wise. We are a family of four so security, comfort, and location was very important. Staff was friendly and attentive if we ever needed anything. Would recommend.

2021-11-22Looks pretty new. Its very clean and, the night we were here, it was quiet. Its far enough back from the road that you dont hear it very much. The breakfast bar is very comprehensive, everything from eggs and sausage to pancakes and cereal. Its got 4 EV charging stations in the front parking lot but only for guests of the hotel.

2021-10-14My daughter was married in Brehnam. We had many family and friends who booked in our wedding block. The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional over the 6 month planning timeframe. The entire stay was flawless! Everyone in our group was extremely pleased with the accommodations! We had some really special family time in the evenings in the foyer area which easily accommodated a larger group. Had the weather been cooler we would have taken advantage of the outdoor space. REALLY pleased with the entire experience!

2021-10-04I am a fan of Holiday Inn Express and this one did not disappoint. The room lighting was excellent - several choices of lamps and cove lighting. The pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. It was pleasant to wake in the morning and look out the window on acres of green grass fields. Its not something you think about when booking a room but it was relaxing.

2021-08-27Really enjoyed the accommodations, The bed was comfortable, an abundance of pillows for both firm or soft. The breakfast food selection was great and the proximity to HEB was convenient. We stayed at this location for proximity to “Washington on the Brazos” as well and have no complaints. The staff was friendly and professional.What more can I say? Highly recommended.Maybe next time they’ll have a jacuzzi.

2021-08-13My fiancé stayed at the property and absolutely enjoyed it. The cleanliness of the entire property exceeded my expectations. The rooms were extremely sanitary and well kept. The beds were comfortable and we rested well. The room we requested had all of the accommodations necessary for the handicapped along with spaciousness.
