Our favorite El Paso hotel. Location, food, comfort, and Staff. Hey what is there not to like. Always happy with our stay here as with most IHG hotels and the IHG rewards program makes life just a little better to get it your way for a change. Thanks for a great stay.
My wife and highly recommend this hotel. The front desk personnel were very efficient and friendly. The breakfast was adequate. The bed was comfortable..tons of pillows! We especially like the lounger to relax on. The overall look of the hotel was very clean. We would stay here again in the future.
Absolutely terrible phone etiquette. All morning Ive been trying to call and no one has answered the phone. And I know thats a big No-No because I worked in the hotel industry before and youre not allowed to let the phone ring more than 3 times. Whos running the show here?
This easily one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always nice and clean. And the breakfast is always delicious. And there are several restaurants nearby too if you want food from elsewhere. 100% recommend staying here.
We stayed here for a weekend while visiting our grandkids. Are room was dirty .. i cleaned it myself.. slept with my own small blanket when i say the bed covering was stainedThere was nasty stuff on one if the towels and the tub was dirtyThe electricity went out the first day with no source of a generator for such a problem.. we had to be somewhere and could not get ready properly.. i brought all my issues to the desk while checking out with pictures and was offered $20 off .. i later called to tell the hotel manager and he was extremely rude like it was all my problem. He said i should of had someone come clean the room when I noticed it was dirty.. we were exhausted from a 8 hour drive and wanted sleep.. the next day the electricity was out and we left to see family.. at this point my anxiety was so high I couldn’t deal with having people in the room. He apparently doesn’t understand anxiety. This is the worst hotel experience ever snd the rudeness i got fromManagement made it worse
We were in town visiting my parents and had an awful experience at another hotel in the city. We were able to change to this Holiday Inn at the last minute and the experience was the opposite. The staff was great and the rooms were clean and we were able to use the pool. The stay at this hotel made our trip in El Paso much better. Thanks again and I am sure we will use this hotel again when we come back through town.
Attempted to check in and hour earlier, one staff took name to call me when room was ready. I was not called, but when I returned later room was ready. Because I was tired , staff even brought my keys over to me. Great room!. Hotel was clean ! Quiet! Upon checking in , although I had to ask ( this was the first time at an IHG hotel, usually offered) was given complimentary beverages. I did not have breakfast the next morning. Checkout was a breeze, but upon leaving because we were continuing our travel, I asked if I could have another bottle of water. Staff went and got another person. Management said no, but it will cost you $2.00. Husband had left to put luggage in the car so I did not have my purse, then I said well take it off of my card. I did not even think I could have used my points. Then I said you know what thats okay. Up until that moment , everything was great. It just put a damper on my morning and the start of my vacation. Same person checked us in the day before, but very different attitude and demeanor upon leaving.
Everything overall was satisfied as we enjoyed Memorial Day weekend in San Antonio. The hotel staff were always very attentive with us and anything we needed they will find a way to get it to us. Breakfast was very liked by our kids, as they had different varieties of food to get.
We’ve stayed in this hotel twice in 2020. Super clean rooms - our white socks stayed white after walking in the carpet for hours. Very helpful and professional staff. Comfy beds. Water pressure in shower was so so, but that’s pretty standard in a hotel. We didn’t eat breakfast there, but it smelled great in the lobby and looked good when we saw other people’s plates. Housekeeping didn’t make our bed, but not a big deal in these COVID times. We did get clean towels and they emptied the trash cans and cleaned the bathroom. We will choose this hotel again if we travel to El Paso before our son changes duty station.
Nice place, safe, close to restaurants, stores, freeway, etc… staff was nice. Unfortunately staff didn’t tell us about breakfast (with COVID many places ceased providing food so we didn’t know if they offered it or not), pillow cases smelled like sweat, I believe they didn’t get changed, luckily I had my own.
Worst front desk staff ever encountered. Lied about rate, they charged me double what I was promised at time of reservation and refused to even discount. Lied and said they were fully booked and could only give us 3rd floor room, not 1rst floor as promised at reservation. Parking lot was empty every night we were there, so only giving two older women a 3rd floor to haul luggage up to was disgustingly rude and rotten. Do your research for better hotels, by rate and staff, before ever booking this one. Unfortunately, I was not familiar enough with el paso to have walked away, after driving 15 hours that day to get there, to find a better rate and friendlier staff. If negative or zero stars were possible, thats what this place deserves.
I would’ve given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t that half the gym machines weren’t working. It’s a new hotel why aren’t all machines working? Anywho. The room itself was super nice and spacious. Breakfast options were great. Pool is a bit small. Overall pleased with the stay, there’s just room for improvements.
What a great experience. Fantastic staff with excellent customer service. The cleanliness as you walk in. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The GM was walking around and welcoming its guests and asking if we needed anything. Customer service at its finest. Well done!
This hotel had a summertime contract housing Army Reserve troops for nearby Fort Bliss. As a result they are almost full. We got room #220, which had a persistent sewer smell that maintenance was unable to correct. Unfortunately the windows dont open. The air filters on the air-conditioning unit were filthy. We cleaned them in the sink, but it didnt help. We again mentioned all this at checkout, but only got the standard will look into it. Disappointed. Next time in the area I will try the LaQuinta that is about to open next door.
We stayed at this property due to heating problems at our home. As we walked in we were not greeted by Hotel staff. And we searched for a sign letting us know when the front desk clerk would return. Finally after 5 minutes the front desk clerk returned. Check-in was smooth. We had an issue with the room cleanness. We brought up the issue we were able to move to a new room. The next day the heater in our room quit working. When we brought up the issue of the non function heater to the front desk staff, to our amazement we were offered blankets instead of maintenance going and fixing the heater. At this point we had no where else to go so we stuck it out and we were able to get the heater to work with no help from the hotel staff. When we checked out we were dissatisfied with our stay and did not communicate with any of the staff and left .
The bedding was not very clean. Had hair on it and I had to ask the housekeeping for new linens. The towels were not easily replaced, had to seek out housekeeping. The breakfast was tasty and the service was good with the service specialist being prompt and offering variety of food based on availability. but it was very limited on selection and not the freshest. But management was nice and helpful.
Clean and nice place. Breakfast was difficult lines because of the covid restrictions. Not the greatest variety for me. The pool is outside so i think it should be heated. Besides that it was in a great location and easy access to what we were in el paso for and the airport.
The bed was so comfortable. The parking lot was well lit since we arrived very late. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator. Hot breakfast was offered in the morning so it was convenient not having to leave the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was spacious and has everything to make us comfortable. The bed/s were the best part, the pillows were plush and the black out windows were a bonus. The quiet air conditioner was a must in Texas weather. Overall or stay was very well received and we would choose this hotel again when passing through El Paso.
Nice hotel for company trip. Ernie was awesome! Very helpful and accommodating. The lady serving breakfast seemed put off and stingy when asked for additional items. It was like I was taking it directly out of her grocery cart if I asked for both cereal and eggs. Maybe she gets a bonus if she doesnt give out too much food. But Ernie makes up for the sour attitude with his willingness to help.
This hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you need a small oasis to get away from it all. I’ve been to resorts where the staff were just not friendly and therefore made everything seem less comfortable. But from the moment I walked in to this property I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. Which of course set the tone for my entire stay. If I’m ever to come back to El Paso I will be staying here.
I never considered myself a hotel snob until my mom insisted we switch to this hotel on one of our visits. Now, I don’t want to stay anywhere else. It’s more expensive than I would like, considering we don’t spend much time in the room, but the bed and shower are awesome!
Great hotel, clean, inviting and great service to a point. Stayed for two nights. Night two, room next to me played loud club type music from 2pm to 1am next morning. Two phone calls to front desk resulted in apology and I will ask them to turn down music. Music never did quiet down till after 1am. Others have no respect! I will stay again at this hotel. Need to I force rules!
After multiple trips I tried the place next door to save some money. Bad idea. I spent the whole time staring out the window, at my Holiday Inn Express and Suites just across the parking lot, wishing I had stuck with my favorite! ! I will never settle for less again. The rooms are spotless, spacious, inviting, quiet, secure, and comfortable. Bathrooms are pristine and well appointed. The pool and patio are cool and inviting. Sign up for the Rewards Program and treat yourself often.!
I frequently stay at this location. Overall the hotel is very nice and the staff is always attentive. Check in and check out is quick and painless, and their breakfast options are the best around. The rooms are quickly wearing down, despite the fact that the hotel is relatively new (cracks in wall of shower, staining in bathroom). These things are cosmetic only, and do not effect the quality of stay, albeit slightly reducing the aesthetic.
Stayed at the hotel recently on a 10-day business trip. Good location...easy to walk to a variety of restaurants and close to my work location.HIE informed me upon check-in that they only clean rooms every 5 days now because of COVID...however I had to ask to have my room cleaned on the 7th day. Would have been nice if the hotel was proactive and didnt require my follow-up.Sleep quality one night was terrible as a result of a party in the next door room. Despite multiple calls the hotel wasnt able to break the party up...or offer any type of compensation for the hours of noise on the 4th floor.
I like that it was close to where I needed to be. However the hotel was not clean for it to be a brand new hotel. It had a smell all around the lobby and room we stayed in. The room had trash by the coffee maker. There were left over cigarettes pack from previous guest, i believe. The complimentary lotion in the bathroom was used, the kleenex dispenser only had one or two kleenex. It was very disappointing because we’ve stayed at other locations in El Paso, and another city; and they’ve been on point with service and cleanliness. Would not recommend this location.
Once again, the staff here always exceed expectations and have raised the bar for customer service. I always look forward to coming to El Paso because I stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites : El Paso East-Loop 375 3500 Joe Battle Blvd, El Paso, Texas 79938. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. Today was no exception; specifically Id like to highlight Yasmin today. I came early today. However, she was able to work with housekeeping to make getting my room a priority and was in my room in less than 20 minutes and was prior to normal check-in hours. She even gave me a water bottle for my wait and an apology for wait; even though I was the one that came early! Also, she made it a point to accommodate my ground floor and near the side doors request. Honorable mentions as well are to Javier, Jasmine R and Amanda N. They all are very courteous to the extreme and quick to greet you with a smile and quick to respond to any need or request you may have to their fullest capability to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Also, Id like to add that the maintenance staff take pride in what they do here to ensure clients are taken care of here properly as well as room servicing. It is evident that they all care about what they do here every time I come to stay and I see it in how they treat every other guest as well. They are what have made me a loyal customer to the IHG Brand.
The hotel overall was pretty good. The only 2 complaints I have are that I was there for 3 weeks and they only had one washer that was operational. I also got woken up on my first night there because the hotel gave a room key to a new guest . I could not fall asleep after that cause I was paranoid it was going to happen again. Good thing I had used the door stopper.
I spent one night in this hotel in route to my final location in Artesia New Mexico. Really enjoyed this hotel. It was new, clean, and the staff was very nice and professional. A plus is that there were several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I drive through El Paso fairly often. This will definitely my stop from now on.
Modern feel throughout the hotel, nice clean beds and towels. No bathtub in our room, would prefer bathtub and not just shower. Good shower head. Enough room to put luggage and stuff somewhere. Bathroom and hallways and elevators were very dusty/dirty (drywall) because there was still construction happening but pleased to say we didn’t hear anything from them and weren’t disturbed by it. Location could definitely be better if you’re planning on dining/shopping in the cielo vista area, this is a little further from all that than I’d like. All in all, good hotel. Would stay again for the right price.
First impressions are everything. The elevator was littered with small dead bugs. Come to find out they had an exterminator earlier in the day and were cleaning up periodically. Took a couple hrs before they were cleaned out. First room had floor soaked from leaking A/C but it only took 2 minutes for them to get me another room a few doors away. A/C is powerful. Tough to find a happy medium at night (either warm or too cold) but I’ll take a strong A/C over a weak one. Staff ALWAYS had a mask when engaging with customers. Hand sanitizer available at all elevators. With everything going on, we felt SAFE. Would stay again.
This room was exactly what I was expecting. I was looking for rooms to stay at in route to Austin. I have had bad experiences looking for hotels until I remembered a previous stay with Holiday Inn s as no I immediately booked with them again. I already knew the rooms would be clean, modern and affordable. I will continue to use them whenever I need lodging away from home.
The room was definitely the highlight of this stay, other then that the service was not the best I paid in advance and paid both nights in full but I was still asked for a deposit? How does that make sense? I asked the front desk and they couldnt explain it but I had to. Also they never answer phones and whenever we would ask for something they said they are short staffed so they cant provide it. I understand if they have a warning before but we were never told anything about them being short staffed so we expected better service.
This hotel was convenient for our purposes. The staff was friendly, the property is new, and the breakfast was good. For that reason I would love to rate this hotel higher, but there was one thing that bothered me. The first thing that I noticed walking down the hallway to our room was not the fact that the carpeting was new, but the fact that it looked like it had not been vacuumed. First impressions are everything and when I saw the carpeting I thought what is our room going to look like. Again, when I opened the door I didnt think to myself how new the room was, but I started to notice hand and fingerprints on the door to the bathroom, little bits of stuff on the carpet among other things. If not for these issues, I would have felt comfortable giving this hotel 5 stars.
We had a room and the bathroom tub was clogged and the couch had bodily fluids on it. We reported it and they moved us in to a downgraded, smaller room in the middle of the night. The staff at night was helpful but the next day we never received a phone call from the gm like we asked for. I told the staff Id be waiting in my room all day waiting for the call. Ive stayed there before and enjoyed the stay but after this I dont know if I can risk it.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. The hotel we clean and neat. My room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located right off of the 375 Loop, so its convenient to travel anywhere in the El Paso area. There are numerous restaurants located within walking distance.
This place looked clean when we entered, but with the Covid cases going up everywhere we did extra cleaning ourselves before going in. We disinfected all the obvious areas, but then when we opened up the bed to spray the sheets we found hairs and small scab like pieces skin all over in between the sheets. It was so disgusting. We thought because its a fairly new hotel it would be better...but the whole room looked dingey. We only stayed one night but for $100 we thought it wouldve been better. Definitely not staying here again! And from now on, no matter where we stay, were packing our own sheets!
Hotel was a nice quiet getaway.Staff and occupants were limited due to Covid 19.Due to this they were not offering their complimentary breakfast and was just giving go bags with a granola bar and a juice.Understandable due to the situation.Other than that, hotel was clean, quiet and conveniently located near some pretty good restaurants.
I never ever had a issue here I travel every where and this is the only hotel that I come and they acknowledge me by my first name and treat me like Im a famous person and attend to any extra stuff I need in my room.I love this location and I do recommend this hotel to all who plan to visit el paso, tx.Its safe well lighted location.
The stay went very well. From the staff and to the quality of work they put into this hotel was great. For the price, you couldnt ask for much more. From the first greeting to the last when your checking out, everyone was very polite and called you by last name as you walk by. Makes you feel like your part of the family. Not just some hotel where your not acknowledged. Food was prepped on time to get your day started. The security doors remained locked from the outside other than the front door. Well lit parking lot. Restaurants are within a waking distance. They had everything you need if you like to go to the gym.
We checked in on July 25 for 2 nights. In our room there was no soap which we asked for. The bath tub had stains and the room smelled like rotten eggs due to air conditioning irregularity...As I lay down on the bed close to window, it was squeaking when you lay down. Then, we woke up. The bathroom didn’t have shampoo and conditioner in the bottles. Coincidently we noticed when a lady was checking on for room services. She took 2 towels and we never Received the New ones.As I left the room with my kiddos I told the lady at 12pm to request the room services which never came. The worst happened yesterday when my kid’s hand was stuck in the elevator when we were screaming and no one was there at the desk around 7:30pm yesterday. My wife tried to pull the door or close and it took some time.I booked this hotel checking the ratings but this was very disturbing stay with my 3 kids and my wife.
The room was extremely generous in size- I had a king and the bed and pillows were so comfortable, I did not want to wake up. The shower was a great experience loved the fact that shampoo, conditioner was right there convenient for me and I di not have to unpack mine. I just loved everything about my stay!! I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends driving to El Paso, TX.
This Holiday Inn is fairly new and conveniently located within walking distance to several restaurants. As an IHG Spier Elite client, customer service was far below standard. My check-in and check-out experience was horrible.I will only stay here again for convenience and nice amenities.
Now this is what I call class. Gym, Pool, Concession, Laundry, Soft blankets, Lots of pillows, Great AC, shampoo/conditioner, Keurig, obviously a fridge and microwave, the TV is great. I cant say enough good things about this hotel, if youre staying in El Paso, you should be staying here. The food around it is good and within walking distance and thats a plus. The front desk is entirely too helpful, it makes me think Ive done something wrong, people shouldnt be that nice. I love it here.
This place was a pleasant surprise. We stayed here on a recommendation from someone that lives in El Paso. We were impressed with the entire experience. The staff was professional and courteous. The building is fairly new (1 year?) The rooms are well designed and spacious. Overall we were very pleased.
I loved this hotel. The bed, bedding, and awesome feather pillows was a real treat. The room was modern and comfortable. The bathroom totally clean and modern. Well, it is a new hotel after all. Many choices for breakfast which is self serve. Theres a computer in the lobby I used to see my next days route close up.
This is a really nice hotel. I stayed here recently for business. It was clean, new, modern; located right off highway in a convenient, prime location. The staff was very nice, even when I arrived in the middle of the night and departed a few days later early morning. I will definitely stay here again soon for my upcoming business trip. Thank you for a real good experience.
This was a stopover on our way home from vacation. Facility is located on the east side of El Paso, near Ft. Bliss. Hotel was easy to get to and had several restaurants in the immediate area to choose from for dinner. Rooms were clean and comfortable with firm and soft pillow options on the beds. Masks were required while inside the hotel, as well as all other buildings. Rooms had coffee and tea in them. Breakfast was the option of the hot breakfast, or a grab-n-go bag. The hot breakfast was not the normal buffet. There was a list of available options, and you waited in line, placed your order, and the cook put your order together. It was nice to have something other than yogurt, fruit and a muffin.
After working long hours it is very comforting to be greeted by a friendly face who asks if there is anything I need, whether at the front desk or in the hallway or the parking lot for that matter. Rooms are clean, especially the restrooms, which I am very grateful for. I am in the cleaning business so I know what Im talking about.
This hotel is very clean, nice design and most importantly, it’s rooms are big in size. The restrooms are clean and huge. Love the sliding glass doors for the shower. The room was very comfortable and clean. You definitely get your money’s worth here. The hotel is also built in the nice “middle class” area of El Paso, so it’s safe and quiet. On the front of the hotel there is a “Tacotote,” McDonalds,” and a “Starbucks,” so it’s really cool if you get hungry you can walk to those places. Plenty of parking. Well lit at night. Super close to the loop, but no traffic noise. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice hotel in El Paso.
Arrived at the hotel after a long day, was greeted and helped right away. Entered the room and was impressed by the space and cleanliness. Clean sheets, bathroom, floor, counters...etc. The halls are wide which helps to avoid coming in close contact w other guests for covid. Great counter service too, very friendly and prompt. I will stay here again when visiting.
This was a one night stay en-route to my final destination. I have stayed here in the past, although not in the middle of a pandemic. The hotel and room were very clean and I was not concerned for my Heath at all. The desk clerk was friendly and professional and acknowledged my IHG membership. I have stayed here before and. Plan to stay again when passing through El Paso.
This was a last minute reservation because our home was being worked on. The room was as clean as any other IHG hotel, so that was OK. There were only three pieces of Kleenex in the box, and only one roll of toilet paper, so that was a potential problem. However, when we went to shower in the morning, the shower gel dispenser was completely empty. Lack of attention to detail makes for a poor experience. I understand the problems with breakfast due to COVID 19, but the granola bar and tasteless bagel were not my favorites. I told the front desk about the problems as I left, and got the oh well, sorry response. I did not feel like a Platinum Elite member on this stay.
I checked out on Thursday morning, handed in my keys and asked for a copy of my bill, which I was given. When I checked my credit card charges, I had been charged for an extra night. I called the hotel every day for a week. No one answered the phone for four days, then finally I got a human. But she refused to help me, saying only the manager could correct the error. However, the manager refused to call me back or email me. I called the main Holiday Inn phone number and they created a case and told me I would get a call within 48 hours, but no one called. Im surprised by this issue, as Ive always had good experiences with Holiday Inn before, but this error combined with their total refusal to correct it have been very disappointing.
We were overall pleased with the hotel but had an unfortunate experience the first night because we found the sheets on our bed were not clean. We were provided with fresh linens right away and our money was refunded. Otherwise, the room was spacious and quiet and comfortable with only a problem in the shower keeping the shower door closed.
My main concern was noise control our first night in the room the fire alarm was going off at 1 a.m. tried to call the front desk nobody answered during the alarm. After about 5 minutes alarm shut off. Tried to call the front desk to make sure everything was okay nobody answered. Tried to call over and over but still no answer. No one ever called back or came asuris everything was okay. Nobody apologized after the fact for any inconveniences. The second night at no fault of the hotels we woke up to a man screaming at someone to get out of his room. This went on for a few minutes but no stuff came to deescalate the situation. For the most part the room was clean and I enjoyed the rest of our stay. The bed was comfortable and I did like the choice between feather or cotton pillows.
Very nice hotel. Manager and staff are wonderful people. Very clean. Any issues you can think of they do their best to help. Great for extended stays. Washers and dryers. I am expire member and this place meets all standards and exceeds them. Plents of restaurants close. Not far from lowes.
I chose this hotel due to its location and the fact that it appeared newer/cleaner than other hotels given the current state of the world (COVID-19). As an IHG club member I received communications regarding how the company is meeting new standards prior to making my reservation and felt this hotel would meet them. While a few things were not up to par it suited my needs and I would stay here again.
Swimming pool was a mess, even though supossedly they were cleaning it every morning. And even though we were there on hot days the water was way to cold. Bathroom had a broken toilet paper rack, the curtians had to be unplugged if we didnt want them to be moving around all night long. Housekeeping did a poor job cleaning the room during our 4 night stay.
We choose the Holiday Inn because we have always had good experience. My husband had to have surgery and this hotel was very close to hospital. After all day sitting and waiting, this was a wonderful place to come to and decompress. I highly recommend. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable.
The bathroom was not cleaned properly. The toilet would leak water when flushed. I made the front desk clerk aware and requested my money back. Front desk clerk offered to clean the bathroom but refused to allow me to cancel my stay and get my money back. Never will I stay here again. There is paint on the light switches making it look messy. The overall work in the bathroom is very messy.
We drove 10 hours and chose this hotel to stay at. BIG MISTAKE. The carpet in our room had a horrible odor. Our bathroom had hair everywhere. The shower and shower curtain was filthy. The bathroom door was broken. Our trash never got taken out. Our room was never vacuumed.
Been member since 2008 and stayed in so many IHG hotels in USA and Mexico, I have the worst experience in this hotel. No soap for 2 days in the container and shampoo one day. Housekeeper knocking the doors around 8:00AM. I completed about house keeping and happened again, the second time housekeeper wasn’t knocking Sha was hammers the door while I was in the shower.
Hotel stay was fine. I stayed on reward points so there was no charge. However, they required to charge me $35.25 for incidentals. This wasnt a hold on my card, but an actual charge. Then, they never issued the refund. Ive called and am now waiting for them to issue a refund. I will not stay at this hotel again because of this poor practice.
Lots of good things about the hotel: great location, good internet, good breakfast, great beds and pillows. But the bad: carpets in room 416 are stained, elevators carpets are stained and black, bathroom floor in room was very dirty, air vent in bathroom appears to have mold or stained spots on it, some trim coming off of wall. Unfortunately the place has not been kept up but has a surface levell cleaning.
They have gone above and beyond with their cleaning, sanitizing. Customer service is AMAZING! I can only remember the name of one girl that works up front, Sylvia, her along with the others were so friendly, helpful and professional! If youre stopping in el paso texas or moving, I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. You have plenty of restaurants walking distance or for delivery and a walmart behind it
The staff was wonderful with what they have to work with. Our room was marginal as so-called Suite. It looked like it was the spot for storage of mismatched furniture. The beds were very uncomfortable and lumpy. The new pump styleshampoo dispenser did not work. I dont pack shampoo so was out of luck there. The breakfast area was bad. The big window was on the east side and the sun was blinding. I tried two different tables before I found one that didnt rock.It was not a welcoming area. The over all ambiance was cold as a hospital room. It was noisy as airplanes passed over. Over all experience was not good.
This is a newer hotel and has all the amenities offered by IHG. My only complaint was staff allowing guests to walk around mask-less during breakfast. I understand state mandates prevail, but as a company, IHG should handle these situations better. Overall, the hotel experience was on par for IHG.
We stayed at this hotel while attending my wifes fathers funeral. Everything from check-in through check-out was top notch, at this IHG location, which made a difficult time easier.Particular thanks goes to Ary (front desk), and Erica (kitchen) for being such a pleasure to deal with.
I would absolutely stay here again. Hotel is spotless and staff are so kind . Best bacon I have had at an iHG property hands down. Only issue was slightly expensive price for location. Couldve stayed in a more populated area for same price, but didnt want to stay in down town to begin with.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in the area. The staff was excellent when I was there. I accidentally left my ID at the front desk when I checked in and didnt notice until I got to the airport to leave. So, I called the hotel to see if it was there and it was. So, Jasmine one of the employees ran my ID to me at the airport. For her to take the time out of her (I am sure) busy schedule to bring me my ID tells me a lot about their customer service at this location. I will never stay at any other hotel then this Holiday Inn Express when I am in El Paso.
Our beds smelled like armpits , slept on our own blankets .... went swimming the day we were suppose to check out sep 27 an a bum walked up to the pool reached over let himself in an started washing himself in the pool ... I immediately told my two boys to get out an we left ... I went to front desk an the lady was like oh my gosh he’s in there again we’ve already called the cops on him several times ! Disgusting an do not recommend......!
This is a fairly new hotel, so all of the facilities were in great condition. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It conveniently located by several restaurants and easy access to the freeway. There was some construction nearby, but it didnt cause any inconvenience or nuisance. There is also a hospital nearby, which would be convenient for those visiting the area for healthcare purposes.
We were there for one night the staff was super nice and they do have 2 elevator so you dont have to wait for while and the location of the hotel is close for to many restaurants and Walmart . the room are clean but not super clean they could do butter with that I mean you can feel the facility is old .
My second check-in attempt was great! Everything went smoothly, I was acknowledged as a club member, and he took the time to make me feel like a welcomed guest. There were places to eat within walking distance, as well as assistance if needed. I will book this hotel again on my next business trip to El Paso.
Housekeeping. When my room was serviced, my coffees were all set as decaf. For 2 days !!! I finally had to go ask front desk for regular coffee, and ... they were out.of cream/sugar packets !!!!My carpet didnt get vacuumed on 2.separately occasions and I know this because I put a water bottle on the floor with a chip of paper under.... still there at end.of day when I returned.Beyond that, is Nice and.Comfortable since.is new.
Easy to find, just off the loop in the NE of the city. Fast, courteous, professional check-in. No hassles. Good elevator service and luggage carriers. Lots of parking near entries.Room clean, updated and set up well for sitting, reading, and great beds for sleeping! Blackout drapes and privacy curtain worked just right. Strong shower pressure a delight.
Was told when checking in that my personal card was only for incidentals but was charged every day for the room. This stay was for business and the company credit card was on file and also charged for the room. The issue was resolved but not before 3 different stories by 3 different front desk personnel staff.
I was not impress with this express hotel, the air conditioning was off in the hall ways. This made it difficult because our room was all the way in the back. They had no vents in the bathroom, so whe you left your room the air condition was down low and it left the room with an order from the bathroom. It small like a old gym room. They cleaning people would not pick up the towels unless you call them.
They charged me for an extra night. I checked out at 7AM on Thursday morning, handing in my key-cards and receiving a copy of my bill, which totalled $366.12. They then charged my credit card for an extra night, and the amount billed was $457.65. I called the hotel every day for a week. When I finally got a human on the phone she said only the manager could take care of it, but the manager did not return my call or email me.
New Hotel and friendly staff. You get road noise from the rooms facing the highway. The front of the hotel has parking but the spots are to small to be able to get your vehicle behind the red fire lane. The other parking spots are small and you have a hard time to be able to open a door and get in and out of the vehicle.
Cali-San Antonio stop over night. A good location much of the construction around is for new restaurants coming to this area. Good breakfast and a break away from the generic waffles and runny eggs. Omelets (cheese and veggie) and turkey sausage options as alternatives was different. Pool is outdoor, exercise room and appears to have been recently remodeled with comfortable room sizes and microwaves/fridge/coffee maker in the room.
New and clean. Super friendly staff. The grounds keeper guys a younger and and older guy both went out of their way to be friendly. Give them a raise they seemed to take pride in their jobs. Only complaint I have is the breakfast lacked conpaired to the many other Holiday Inn Expresss I have stayed in. Aside from that I would stay here again, located amongst several restaurants, walmart is less than a mile away.
Paid for the room on Priceline. Got to hotel they charged me for the room again. The next morning I get charged yet again for the hotel. Manager is very rude and wants nothing to do with the issue. Keep getting the run around from her. Room was not worth $60 a night let alone $180. Supposed to get $180 returned but she denies the other $180 charge also. Beware people!
This is a new property that is very well managed. I have a reservation for next week because I was so pleased with the staff. The breakfast is above average. It is a little hard to find because of the construction around it. However there are a number of restaurants close by and looks like more to come.
This hotel could not provide a blanket or pillow for the pull-out couch. Miserable night for my daughter! HUGE inconvenience!Very minor inconvenience: The toilet seat will not stay up. Also, I wish the front desk would have inquired about how my stay was when I checked out...and they could not provide a receipt since I used points.

2021-12-31We initially booked this hotel because of the breakfast amenities. We stayed 12/10-12/12 both times breakfast no more mediocre than a gas station breakfast. Machines were broken, food was gross and limited. We also were told the pool was open and that it was being cleaned. This was the pool the entire time.Although the room was decent. Not really sure if its worth the money to reserve here.

2021-12-10I just rencently needed to work in El Paso and i had stayed at another hotel close by and did not have a pleasant experience. had to return the following week and i decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. I had a relaxing and stress free experience here. Room was just right. i did not request for anyone to clean my room but every time in came back to my room i had my towels changed and trash thrown out. It was just a simple jester that made it so much more comforting. Not a lot of noise from the other rooms and i did get some much needed sleep throughout my stay. I Love the to go snack bags the hotels gives out. Seems like they worry about us as we go on through the day. LOL.Thank you folks!!

2022-03-02The location is great, near the freeway, plenty of restaurants options and some shopping stores. The rooms were super cleaned and the staff very helpful and greeted with a smile. I actually forgot my watch(sentimental value) in the room, called the front desk and they made arrangements for it to be mailed out to me.

2022-03-02Hotel still has a little of the “new” smell to it. It’s nice and clean. Breakfast has a good variety. Instant pancakes and cinnamon rolls are the best. Great location near a lot of great restaurants.

2022-05-13Our stay was during Mothers Day weekend, we were met by friendly staff, even though we were a very late check-in, due to airline issues. Our room was clean and very comfortable, easy to access and plenty of room. Will definitely stay here again.

2022-04-07I had to go to the 4th floor 5 times to try to get my key to work, (the battery was out on the door lock) The clerk finally changed rooms which was a downgrade from the 2 queen suite we had paid for. She did not reimburse my for the difference of the rooms. She stated the manager was going to give me extra rewards points. That never happened either. She was the only person working and when people would call and ask for a pillow or towels, she told then to come and get it because she was alone working.

2022-02-22I am very disappointed in this Hotel, I was going to stay at the Tru Hilton hotel (which by the way is cheaper than this hotel)down the street from this hotel but I have stayed in two different holiday day inn express hotels and they seemed clean and nice but this one just disappointed me . Everything was fine at first , check in was good, room smelled clean and looked clean but then I saw the sofa and it had stains all over it, stains didn’t look old so this was a recent stain. I wonder why housekeeping didn’t bother to clean it . This just leads me to believe that this is house they clean everything else. This really ruined it for me

2022-03-08When we checked in I gave the desk clerk my club number but he could not find it in the system. Went upstairs to a nice comfortable room. We were told there was a complimentary breakfast and when we came down the next morning we were told breakfast would be served in an hour. Turns out our clock was set an hour early so we missed breakfast and went to IHOP. Desk clerk said she was sorry but offered not compensation for the missed breakfast. The maids should check the clocks when they clean the rooms. Not sure if we will stay there again.
