My family has had the WORST experience here. Absolutely NOONE took the time to help. NO ONE? Out of every person that works there, including the management. This was the WORST service I have ever had to go through ANYWHERE. This place is downright disrespectful in the way it conducts itself. They will continue to get business because they have some cheap products, but I didn’t expect their customer service and conduct of character to be just that - CHEAP. I disgusted by this place in particular and every employee I came into contact with. DISGUSTED.
While Home Depot has a wide variety of improvement materials and supplies, it cannot compare to Lowes for friendliness and is not Veteran friendly. Lowes has parking specifically for Veterans, HD does not. When I want my veterans discount all o have to do is give my phone number at Lowes. Home Depot wants me to go online and fill out an application. When I walk around Lowes it is easy to find someone to help with whatever I need. Good luck and Home Depot. Stocking shelves and taking breaks is more important apparently. All things considered the prices are about the same so I think Id prefer Lowes. Also the last time my wife and I visited Home Depot they had a sign for a hose reel that was $15 off but it rang up at regular price. We explained to the clerk but she insisted that the price on the register was correct. She wouldnt even have someone investigate it. Guess they were to busy riding around on ladders and forklifts. We dropped our basket and went to Lowes. We were not disappointed there.
Dont be a woman in the lumber section because the adult male employee will sure talk over you and down to you at the same time. Also, please put your price tags back up when you restock shelves. We all know they are going up in price but wed at least like to know by how much.
Not happy with Home depot.wont be going there nomore.i was buying 2 chipped flower pots .it rang up for a penny cuz the lady told me they were throwing the pots away but manager said we cant sell u them cuz there a penny. So he would rather throw them away when I could use them .thats dumb.they should honor that price like Lowes and other stores do
Could not get thru on the phone to the paint department. 3 times the call was never answered and just kept getting rerouted to a person who answers the phone with the question how they can direct your call. The person didn’t even bother listening to me beyond me saying that no one answered in the paint department, I realized she immediately had again, rerouted me to the paint department while I was still talking. I got in 3 seconds of her time before she transferred me. Horrible, rude customer “service.”
Dont advertise Curbside pickup if you ignore app users who announce their presence with the app. 15 minutes of waiting in the car for nothing. ALSO, never order anything for store pickup. Items arrive to their magazine, and then it takes them many days to process these orders for pickup. In general, using Home Depot for anything that involves local stores is a waste of time. Theyre useless. The only thing you can rely on are internet order delivered to your home by UPS/Fedex. (Scheduled delivery is fulfilled by local stores so thats useless as well, my lumber order got rescheduled two times already due to labor shortages.)
The Home Depot on S.E. Military Dr. Has 2 Awesome employees Jesus & Adrian. When I got there I thought I would never get any help a man stood by the door I think his name was Tony & he kept going to just sit down by front door, wouldnt help me or anyone wouldnt even stand up but then these 2 guys Jesus & Adrian started getting the windows I needed & everything else I needed & even loaded it up for me. So glad Jesus & Adrian are employees here at this Home depot.
It was a pleasant experience I dont recall the young man name. He worked the paint department He engaged in a conversation about NY Yankees and I was wearing my Red Soxs shirt. He was knowledgeable and showed me to exactly what I was looking forWas a good experience for me
Closed aisles,This seems to happen a lot. I understand stocking and restocking. But the person on the forklift was more interesting and yacking with the other employee about their weekend. I asked how long the aisle would be closed and she sai until she was done...WTH? DUH!
With the type of work my husband and I do we are here almost every other day. Its a very clean store only down fall you can never get no help. When your looking for someone to help you lift or load something its hard. Now there is several workers who are always willing to help. Eli, Gabriel if they are there they will help load. Tony and Letty will always assist you. Letting on the register and Tony on pro desk. Other than that these younger kids just walk around on their phones. I wish there was policies for the phones maybe then you could get help.
Well someone was fixing the garden roof and they dont have no warning or any sign to let people know. I was walking to the garden and all the dirt from the roof fell on me. I let a worker about it and he was, well they are working and Ill let the manager know but i saw nothing done or even apologize. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
The young lady working customer service 22 Apr, at about 5:20 p.m. on SE Military Dr. was rude and would not give me her name, she then hung up on me three times. Dont understand what kind of business Home Depot is running, allowing employees to conduct themselves in this manner.
Went to purchase a Dewalt drill on sale showed online for $99. Only to be told at this store it was online only. Yet as I explained it stated nowhere on Homedepot website online only. Asked to speak with manager, they mever showed up. That is why I go to Lowes 99% off the time. But this has ensured me to 100%. F@!c Home Depot.
Workers are lazy and ignorant. Tells us they have products in stock, we drive over an hr to pick it up. Nobody helps my employee. I called over 20 times and they didnt pick up their phone to help us. They simply picked it up to transfer your call to a random department where they wont pick up the phone. When it goes back to the operator they pick it up and transfer it again where again, nobody picks up. This was on Tuesday 11/30/21 at 5:00p-6:00pm...in case the Owners or managers are curious enough to re-train or fire their staff who worked during this time
Got everything we needed which was bathroom faucets n lighting. Friendly service. Not too many people at 2pm. I have to include that there was a nicely dressed gentleman ( tie and all) outside asking for $17 for hotel room. I didnt hear the whole story, but my husband said he had no cash, which was true. Man got upset. So the whole time were in the store, Im feeling guilty n wondering if hell still be out there. Thinking of the few dollars in my wallet. What will I give him? Is he being honest, etc. Oh, the guilt. He was gone when we came out. I hope he got the help he needed n used the money wisely. Saddens me to see the needy. God bless them all.
I dont know what is happening at Home Depot but lately every time there is an issue. Key machine was out of order. Then all the overhead lights in the building turned off. It was dangerous for some of the people in the back of the store. Ive never really been a fan of Lowes but I am going to start going there to see if they have their act together.
This store is really bad. An ppl still shop there uuugh....we ordered a riding lawn mower and when it was ordered it arrived with a huge dent. Husb. Called spoke to a Manager(s) Matti was inform of situation and promised to compensate husb. A 200.00 toward his card. For the inconvenience. We waited 2 weeks no money. Husb. Called main ofc and they said they saw that on the notess.an he wld be getting it by end of week. 2 months later no money on our acvount. Uuuughh
Once again, leave it to Home Depot to allow me to purchase for pickup only to not have the items in stock. As always the store list a surplus of material online available and in stock for pickup.Dont make me wait 3-5 business days for my refund when it takes you 3-5 seconds to charge me! Terrible service and such a dismissive way to handle customers. Will be taking my business to Lowes.
İ would post zero stars if I could. One of the worst Home Depots that İ have ever been to. Poor customer service. I was in store looking for a darn simple ladder and not one of their floor folks asked hide nor hair if they could assist me. Piss poor service. The lot of workers should have training or be fired. The customer is there to be served. Not to be looked at like a mute mule.
My rating is 0. I went to Home Depot wanting to buy an outside light fixture. So I found the item but wanted to ask a couple of questions. There was no one to ask. Waited and waited and still no one came around. I was walking by the paint dept and I asked them my questions and they did help me, but told me to find another light fixture since I didnt want it to work as they explained to me about the one I had. I want to thank the 2 guys who helped me from the paint dept. So I went back to the dept to exchange but every box said the same thing on the boxes. I then went to the area that did returns and exchanges and they paged someone to help me. Now that I am writing this, I dont remember hearing it through the loud speaker. Anyway, NO ONE HELPED ME. To the Home Depot Managementt:. Where are your workers? You do not see anyone. Why have them employed and not doing their jobs. Are they hiding in the restroom, in the lounge? All I can say is that your employees are making easy money. Management, you need to step up. So I left Home Depot and went to Lowes. I had my questions answered. Thank you Lowes.
Useless. Asked for assistance cutting lumber and waited for about 30 minutes before leaving. Employees are walking around, not a single one greeted customers at the door, not a single one asked if we needed anything. The 3 people I asked about assistance said they’d page someone, knowing very well no one would show up. I had to call the store to have someone paged yet again, for nothing.
The employees there have great product knowledge and product locations. Sometimes I walk into home depot knowing what I want but dont know exactly where to look but they took really good care of me. Pro services moved pretty quick and very courteous, even gave me my favorite construction pencils free (2 of them 😜). Hope this helps
I went in to get one simple item. I wasnt able to locate it. Moreover, I wasnt able to locate a single employee in the electrical dept. to help me. I wandered about and finally asked another customer if he had seen an employee. He told me, maybe one of them. He pointed to a group of three young employees that were just standing around socializing This is not a good look for a company that prides itself on its customer service.
All the employees were wearing their masks properly unlike a few employees at other stores that Ive been in. I got promptly helped & left the store within 8 minutes. All of the associates are very professional & helpful. I also saw one employee running around with a spray disinfectant that they were wiping down the displays & products with. Great job!
Today Oct. 7, 2021 I had the worst employee in all of Home Depot at SE Military. SIMONE, works in counter tops. She did ask if I needed help but when I said yes her reply wasHer:What do you want.It went down hill from there.Me: Can I get a quartz counter top 42 wide?Her: thats over there.Me: Over where?Her: On the other side but you need to buy at least 25sf. and I can already tell you thats not 25sf.Me: how do you know?Her: Because what you want is not 25sf and it has to be installed you cant just buy it.Me: Well I need it 7x42Her: well ok thats about 25sf.After reviewing the price I asked.Me: How about in Laminate?Her: What about it?Me: Can I get that 42 wide?Her: Thats over there.Me: I know where it is, my question is can I get it 42 wide?Her: I already told you, it has to be installed so they will cut whatever size you need.Me: ok but you didnt answer my question at first.Her: Do you want to talk to someone else?Me: Please, if you dont mind.At that point she yells at her coworker Can you come take care of this man? Thats when I realized Im not a customer, just a man who she doesnt want to talk to.I left everything behind Ill be going somewhere else even if I have to pay a little more for better service.
I was looking for parts for restroom she bk and I first located at lowes website and thinking they had at least one of the items. I needed only one but as I was looking for the item I asked an employee and he said it was a special order. So, I went on Home depots website and immediately told me how many were in stock. I loved how Home Depot website actually saved me time by immediately stating how many in stock. No guessing. Found the item and I was able to fix my sink issue. Also, checkout was a breeze. Thank you Home Depot.
Store management is not customer service friendly. Just left store on S.E. Military Dr. in San Antonio where I had a terrible customer experience. Loaded 8 two cubic feet mulch bags and 21 one foot square stepping stones on cart. Garden center register was close and had to push heavy cart across store to lumber check out register. They had one slow cashier and long line of customers waiting. Asked 3 workings that were standing around in lumber area to call manager who never came. Finally after I called store on my cell manager answered.I asked him where was the service? Explain to him about close garden center register, and long register line wit one cashier and other employees just standing area. He said service will never be the same because times are changing another words he to had a bad attitude. I asked him if he remembered the other local store Builder Square that went out of business due to bad service. I told it was unacceptable have workers just standing around and management not open other cashiers to get customers check out.He called a employee to checked me out then that employee closed register and left other customers stand and waiting in line.Bottom line this store needs better management and customer service.
I had gone to a other place first. But I couldnt get any help. It was I was doing price comparison. But it was a big difference when I get to Home depot I was greeted,and had someone ready to help me. A he was informed me with my options that would better benefit me. That will be the first store I will go to from now on. Thank you.
Since the pandemic, I havent left the house much, but we had a great time. We found everything we needed, had to change my home store in the app but everything was exactly where the app said it was. Mama even got a new Makita drill as an early Mothers Day present! Unfortunately Home Depot only considers tools a Fathers Day gift, so no sales for us ladies
Its difficult to get any assistance in these places. The first two (younger) employees that I managed to interrupt, as they tried to walk right past me, said there was no way to know which breaker i needed from the photo I had. They left. I gathered 4 possibilities, but none looked quite right. Finally an older man came by and actually looked for a moment at my photo. Then I pointed at an empty spot on the shelf. I think the one I need goes here, do you think that is correct? I said. yes, he did. So I am now going to lowes.
The most dirty and poorly kept and unsafe homedepot store in San Antonio....lumber laying unstacked and dug thru leaving only straight pieces on pallets beyond reach..shelves in disarray.. lines way too long and single cashier...Then you get harassed to by beggars on the way out..somebody in management needs to fix this
I went into the store specifically for a Makita saw. In the tool section the tools are locked up. I located the saw. I was on the phone with my wife and hung up so I could ask someone to help me. I looked around the tool area and was not able to locate a Home Depot rep. I ended going to the self check out where a Home Depot rep was sitting in a chair. I ask if he could unlock the tool I needed or send someone over. I advised him I was in front of the Makita tools. He said he’s call someone. I went back to section and waited. And waited and waited. No came and after about 15 minutes I went back to ask if someone was coming? He looked annoyed and said someone would be there. I know their busy. So I went back and waited another 15 minutes. Once again one showed up. Now 30 minutes into the waiting I went back up to where the man was but he saw me coming and walked off so I went to the customer service desk and ask for help there once again advised I was at the Makita display. The girl at customer service said she have someone over. I went back and waited again. Another 15 minutes goes by and nothing. I went up to the self checkout cashier and ask if anyone could open this case so I could get my tool I’ve been here 45 minutes about that time the girl whom the cashier advised worked in the tool area went walking by, the cashier called at her and at first was ignored then finally responded to. The girl working tool area told her she was going on lunch and turned around unresponsive after that. I looked at the cashier and said 50 minutes is to long to wait and I left. I went to Lowe’s walked into the tool aisle found a saw I wanted (they weren’t locked up) discussed the saw with their tool rep who was present in the tool section the entire time and made my $400 purchase. As a contractor time is everything to us. I can’t wait around almost an hour for a tool I need immediately. I think I will do my tool shopping at Lowe’s from now on. Customer Service was horrible at the store, a customer should never be treated like they are bothering the store employees over a simple request.
Husband and I were out today and were were very shocked and upset to see syringes outside the sheds in parking lot. Thats what we were there for, was to look at and possibly purchase a storage shed. I looked inside 1 that I really liked, only to find someones personal belongings and drink bottles in it. It also smelled horribly of body odor and waste. I did call inside and spoke to a worker who said we only lock the 2 story one and arent able to lock the metal sheds. I will send someone out right now to clean. Needless to say not 1 person came out, we even stayed an extra 30 minutes to see and wait and nothing.
I walk into this store i get to the area where I thought I would find the product I came for. I ask this lady employee where I could find the product she says thats so n so department then she immediately yelled out to so n so name he comes over I tell him the product im looking for he takes me right to it but know its not there so n so looks up and says its in stock up their he goes around the corner comes back with this ladder massive ladder parks it gets my product have a good day sir I check out im in my car all of this time felt like 45 seconds those employees are on piont...A++
Got help right away in plumbing, and they have a selection of 1/2 inch hose bibs. I got no help in electrical, and when I finally found the parts I needed, they were out of my size.I do appreciate how they left a lot of trees in the parking lot when they built it. Theres shade out there. I like that.
While visiting your store this morning at about 9 something at 3111 SE Military Dr. San Antonio. Your employees should treat your customers better when asking for assistance. I asked our staff member if there was someone to help me in the Christmas Dept. He was setting up some toolbox when I asked him after I told him excuse me. A also asked him how his day was going. He gave me a dirty look and gave me his back.i felt like I was bothering him from doing his job. He then got on his radio and call someone over the PA. I got my cue said thank you and he never turned back to face me. At that time I felt discriminate I didnt get his name another customer asking for assistance behind me who was Caucasian he ask him how can I help you Sir. Is it because Im native and Apache? I then waited for about almost 10 minutes no one showed up in the indoor Christmas Dept. I then went and asked the cashier in the return and customer service dept. What had happened with your staff and I was waiting for assistance in the Christmas Dept and no one showed up. I was not going to report it but it has been bothering me that I was treated poorly and disrespect. I understand that the holiday coming up and people are stress out. But that why you are working there to help customers.
This place never has great customer service. I had zo ask several associates and no one could help besides I think you can find it here or there. Nevetmind let me just download app and help myself. You can tell the people that work here just do this job to get paid. No more no less.
My husband and I were searching for a farmhouse sink that reflected it was in stock online however we wanted to call to verify. We spoke to Betty and she went above and beyond our expectations on finding the sink for us. Her customer service was amazing and she was very friendly. Please recognize her for her outstanding work!
You can never get help. We waited over 40 minutes in appliances taking turns looking for help. I finally called the store on my cell while we were waiting to ask them to send someone to the area we were at because we couldnt find anyone anywhere except for someone mixing paint. We asked the person in paint if she could call some one but she never did. We finally went to lowes and got the same appliance for the same price and it took us 10 minutes from the time we walked in the door to complete the transaction.
Had trouble looking for an iteam. Coukd not find a sells employe around to ask a question. Did stop a young man that does loading and even though it wasnt his section he stopped to help and answer what he could. If this place keeps hiring peopl like Michael Q Ill keep coming back.
Sergio provided excellent customer service! He provided help without having to ask. He gave his advice and in the end offered a discount for the inconvenience. When an associate/employee helps to the extent he did without a customer having to complain is when I know where I will be shopping for hardware/tools from now on. Thanks Sergio!
Ive had good and bad experiances at this location! Belinda is a lady i wont forget from there she got things done when we were purchasing a shower ! she was funny and nice and help us out so much. But if your ordering special order items dont buy into their timeline of when it will come because it never shows up on time >>>
Asked for some assistance and was told to wait because the guy said he was busy. He was standing their talking to another female employee holding his flag. After waiting for several minutes I left he never stopped talking. Lowe’s here I come never have I shopped at Lowe’s but will now.
I went purchase a Milwaukee 3/8 drive impact. The price was $175 which I felt was reasonable and competitive with other vendors. Amazon was slightly cheaper but with my military discount it was the same price. They had it in stock and was beneficial as my impact quit working. The staff was friendly and efficient and I was in and out.
Very upset with Home Depot I set my brothers to go pick up shelving and cabinets for me I spent over $1000 in one day when they went back to go get the second cabinets they went to self check out and The lady in charge ran after them and started scanning everything for them as if they were trying to steal something then when he paid with my debit card which I have sent with not only him but also my father they start To question him with my card very upset I don’t even want to do business with them anymore. Very disrespectful
The cashiers at Returns were very helpful and polite. I needed to find an extension cord for my dryer and they pointed me in the right direction where Frank was able to further assist me. I normally dont do reviews but I was very satisfied with the help and knowledge of the staff members who assisted me.
Went to get PVC pipe fittings at Lowes and it was a disorganized mess. Literally, those fittings were a mixed up rat nest. Asked for help, employee checked inventory, in stock, but they could not find fittings either. So I went to home Depot and fittings were organized, staff helpful, Home Depot came to rescue.
Checked in on the way got there and checked in then waited, waited and WAITED. Customers used curbside to park, go in and shop and a few came and left while I waited and WAITED for someone to answer the phone. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. ZERO!!! STARS only program wont post unless I choose one-
This review is for a specific employee.Our family of 4 were here today 10/13 to pick up cinder blocks for a remodel project.We purchased about 10 cinder blocks and 20 large paving stones and 3 large pieces of lumber.Our entire time in this store not one employee asked if we needed assistance loading the heavy material that was until we were loading the cinder blocks outside the store. This is when Mr. Arnold asked if we needed help loading the heaving blocks. We were very greatful as we were tired from loading the material from inside the store. I hope his manager sees this as gives him credit where credit is due.Thanks Arnold!
Waited 43 minutes for customer service in electrical department. Asked for assistance 4 times from female employee who was holding down a chair and being very sarcastic about how long we would have wait until someone could help us. Asked her to call manager so she volunteered to call police. Told her to call whomever she thought would be able to answer our questions. Im very dissatisfied with my experience and understand from my friends that if you have to go to home Depot, you had better know what you want or need because they cant or wont help you
I dont frequent this location as much as others, but the few times I have visited this store they did have items in stock that other locations were sold out of.Customer service at the store is usually available, but sometimes there is a wait to have someone assist you. Inventory here is good, and the store carries most of the items the other locations have.This location is clean and modern, easily accessible, conveniently located in the shopping center just off Military Drive.
This location has the worst customer service from most of their workers! Been coming here for years and nothings changed, the workers out on the floor help but with an attitude. ALWAYS. I think they just dont make their floor employees aware that a nice attitude and smile go a long way. Before I would think maybe their having a bad day, but its an all the time thing at this location. Most of the workers have that I hate my job attitude Cashiers have always been nice though.
Went to purchase shelves for my cabinets & metal shelf racks for my pantry. Couldnt find either in the size or type I needed. Didnt see anyone to help in that department so I went over to the paint section & asked for someone. His reply was that because it was Easter Sunday most of the workers called in. I asked him if there wasnt someone else who could help and he said no one who was familiar with the flooring/shelves department.I was going to leave but thought I would try raw lumber first. Fernando is the only reason why Im not giving a one-star rating. He was nice enough to help find a sheet of wood that would be suitable. He also cut out each individual shelf for me. He was very courteous and helpful.I suppose I will either go to another Home Depot or try Lowes for my metal rack shelves. If the employees from this flooring department didnt think enough about losing sales then they wont miss this one.
This store was looking pretty scarce and very well picked over from Black Friday. We were looking for a remote control FF or a fan, but the electrical guy working that section was not very knowledgeable about their products. I do wish they carried a better and bigger selection ceiling fans
Horrible service they said our order was going to be ready at 9 pm on Friday when we got there they said that it wasnt ready and they didnt have any pullers or loaders they told us to come back on Saturday morningOrder wasnt ready until 9 am after we got there it took them 1 hour to load a pallet on our truck the loaders didnt even help us load the cement bags on our truck if I could give them 0 stars I would
Very disappointed, it was a joke. They were quick to take my mothers information over the phone for credit, assured me as long as they spoke to her I would be able to make a purchase as her credit was approved ( just as I suspected) as we go to cash out after an hour plus working with this person, we were told my mother needed to be present! What a way to lie to thier customers.
Home depot never disappointment One thing they need to do and bring back is the policy of military discount 10% sorry home depot lowes Is beating you on that policy 10% military discount on lumber goes a long way I will continue being faithful to home depot but when he comes Large purchases on lumber lows is my number one choice the 10% discount military home depot they lost a lot of business when they let go the military discount on Lumber That was a badd decision home depot
Got to the curb side at 6:39pm on July 10. Checked in. After calling the store twice and checking in again 2 more times, I finally got out of my car and went inside the store to get my merchandise because the store was getting ready to close (which is at 8pm)The kid who brought me my chairs ( Luis) told me there they are had a major attitude malfunction when he learned he had to load the merchandise in my car. It was 102F in my car while I waited for curbside. Never again!!!!
Worst customer service ever!! Called just for availability of a saw zaw blade was transferred to tool rental where the guy who picked up ever so sarcastically told me he dont rent single blades instead of just politely saying wrong dept let ne transfer you. He did transfer me to himself im guessing where i spent the next 30min on hold the call would be answered just to be placed on hold. So calling back asking for a manager i got Augustine if he was a manager or not i highly doubt it didnt apologize but did tell me the price of the blades. Looks like lowes will be receiving my bathroom renovation project.
Worst visit EVERY! Went to return a drill. Three people ahead of me. One being waited on plus two. First one was having issues. 30 Minutes later Still in the same place in line. Never did anyone come to help cashier. I walked out and the manager was outside with the kids club. I asked who the manager was. Lady said she was I explained what was going on. She said she would take care if it. Well to late I had my 83 year old mother in the car. This location sucks. And yes I will tell everyone about this visit. Starting on facebook. Home depot has gone down so much in the last 4 years!
I ordered online a (truck toolbox for $350) I go pick it up and go straight to install it when I noticed that they have not given me the key that goes along with the toolbox. After that it was A nightmare going to the store and trying to get the keys for my toolbox.I spoke to the manager KC which is the worst person that I have ever dealt with. She is very disrespectful and unprofessional did not provide any kind of help!!
Friendly , easy to find staff. Most of the guys I have talked to had helpful how -to advice on projects. Brian at tool rental is all over the place and very knowledgeable and patient with inexperienced DIYers. Store has been well stocked, clean and organized in my 4 visits last week. Even the parking lot is clean and well landscaped for a home depot. Keep up the good work, and take it easy on the Christmas music.
Went to this store for help w a leaking tub spigot. Searched for 10 minutes for someone to help me, two employees walked right by, I said “excuse me, I need some help”. The woman walked off w another customer who came up behind me and the man gave me a dirty look and very grudgingly went to get someone. As I was waiting, the other guy at the desk told the one I’d talked to that “this is why you shouldn’t hang out back here” Finally got some help from a different guy who was ok. I will never go to this store again. So rude. I’m only giving it any stars because it won’t let me review w out any.
To return an item the lady over the counte had to make many calls first....I dont understand why since we only have 2 to 3 weeks that we bought the item and stop working. Finally she got approved from management to the process. ...and then it took her another 30 minutes to get some paperwork to finally come to her counter and return the money...Not even apologize for all inconvenience and time that took to get us the item to be returned. ...bad service. ...were going to lowes....may be we can get a better customer service.
This its usually my favorite home depot but lately they have been off. The loaders never want to work the only ones are Ronald and Peyton. The fork lift driver last night took 35 minutes to be found and then said oh I cant do that for you sorry and walked away left my husband to load 20 sheets of osb by himself. How weird when the what I thought was manager had just recommended we do it that way.
Theres all kind of items you can buy that you may need .like not only nuts and bolts..but lumber.. cement.. ovens ..washers ..siding ..mirror ..plants..flooring.. saws.. blowers... Plastic covers..paint ..planters..etc.. Just go in take a look...but you will find something...
Had a good review on here previously, but theyve really bombed lately. They have good pricing on a lot of tools but if you need any service from them such as flooring, you better watch out for the hidden stipulations that they fail to mention to you.I.e. if you have old flooring, old tile, youre looking at them denying you carpet haul away, forcing you to test for asbestos even if they arent tearing up the old materials, even if its a miniscule as one tack strip theyre pulling out, and attempts at charging you restocking or cancellation fees if you are told this at the last minute and want to get your money back. I am so fortunate that they messed up and didnt provide me a proper contract that I got my money back.Ive done so much business with them, thousands of dollars, and then they try to pull a fast one with this flooring service they provide.Long story short: If youre a diyer, go ahead and enjoy their products, if you see something tantalizing like free carpet install or flooring install, avoid they will do everything they can to not do what they promise.
The customer service is poor at best. Had a customer service representative helping us on the floor, another customer came up and the customer service representative helped the other customer first. The customer service rep is now not wanting to physically look for the item in the overhead storage that I am wanting. Instead, the are referring to the handheld computer saying that they have them, but all the items have walked off. This one of many examples as to why I do not shop home depot anymore. The lack of concern and willingness to help is overpowering. ANY other hardware store will do. And if need be, I will suffer till one opens. Thank you home depot for cementing my decision.
One of two things. Either they make the camera security inspectors where the exact same shirts every day for continuity, or they are just faked videos of people actually sitting and watching the cameras to thwart thievery. Kinda funny. Never will you get so many employees asking if you need help except the last half hr. They politely want you out of there.
Our bathroom backed up!!! Went to rent a drain cleaner. Fabrin totally ignored what I wanted to rent and gave me the 75 1/2 instead of 100 x3/4. He refused to help load it also. By time my brother Edward the plumber got there it was to late to get correct 1. 0800 the next morning ROBERT quickly corrected the issue by simply ready the notes in system and loaded it. I spoke with a manger and had it taken care. It wasnt free I didnt want cuz I used it but if your rude, lie when I heard your boss tell you to load it and theyd watch the door. Thank you ROBERT AND FAITH FOR LISTENING TO ME FUSS, GET IT CORRECTLY AND LOADED UP. PS sense my brother had to work I ran that and fixed it myself!!! 2/7/2019. Never make a women feel STUPID we take or fix things too!!!!
It took a while to get someone to help us. We found the item we wanted they told us it was in stock. We paid for it and waited for it....then the sales person comes and tells us that they didnt have one of the item and that they would have to order it. It would take two weeks to come in....Very disappointing..
Theres never any help on the floor and the people that are on the floor either hide from you to not help you or are just to lazy to show you what you need to do to complete your task... A complete lack knowledge to whatever section theyre in... Managers fault in my eyes.. Train your staff to better serve the public.. Very disappointed!!!
The worse customer service. It took longer than 15 minutes just to get some assistance. My 86 yr old mother was w/me & we were purchasing s grill. I. approached a gentleman who was walking & texting. He said hed call someone but never did. They finally came when they saw my mom struggling w/the basket!
I want to thank carlos for remaining very professional during my visit at the home depot. I had brunch at taco bell nearby and almost immediately after i had to use the bathroom...the home depot was right there so i ran in. Couldnt make it to the bathrooms in the back so i used a bathroom model station. Which is where i met carlos...he could see it was an emergency and instead of questioning me he ran and got me toilet paper. Carlos vera if youre out there i hope the home depot gave you a raise. I offered to help clean the toilet when i finished however he INSISTED it was his job not mine. I dont ever get this kind of hospitality at lowes. I will forever be a the home depot customer. I would give 5 stars if the bathrooms could be moved to the front of the store. Thank you!
I like home Depot because its got everything you need to to build and do construction with the thing about it though was before home Depot and Lowes and all these places they werent servicing the customers to get the customers were walking around lost and then they asked the question most of the employees were hired not as smart people they were just hired to put stuff back on shelves so it was difficult to get someone with any knowledge to help you with a project

2022-05-03Home depot was a little messy today. Not sure if the place is trying to reorganize their inventory but there was a lot going on and the isles were cluttered. Was buying some sheet rock and another customer tried to get a pallets worth of the stuff but no one could help him for at least an hour. Cost of materials I bought were well priced.

2022-02-28Customer service was on point! Even though the salesman didnt help me, he made damn sure that someone will assist me. She was a 80 year old woman and she was so sweet. Her customer service was superb and will return soon to do business with her only. Lowes need to take some notes from Home Depot employees. Im just saying.

2022-04-02Very rude employees. We had to wait a very long time to get assistance to get electrical wire. She would not give us the wire. She just carried it and told us to follow her. We let her know we had other things we needed and she let us know that we would have to come back and get them to unlock the cage for the wire again once we were ready to go. We told her we would just check out then. She then escorted us and the electrical wire to the returns counter to be assisted in check out. We stood in line for almost 30 minutes and when it was our turn the person said she that her register was now closing. All we had was electrical wire and a few plugs. We put everything on the counter and went to Lowes where we had several people assisting us at once and left with everything we had originally drove to San Antonio for.

2022-06-12The employees in the drywall aisle were more concerned with their conversation than us. We waiting at least 10 minutes while they stood further down the aisle talking. My boyfriend finally got their attention and then we waited another at least 20 minutes, I was able to go cleared across the store shop 4 aisles and come back to my boyfriend still waiting, the employees still in the middle of the aisle talking to each other. Finally asked us again what we needed they then moved to the next aisle before disappearing again together. Needless to say we didnt get out drywall.

2021-04-03Went in to Home Depot with a friend to pick up a few things. These really caught my interest! The rustic work bench could use it inside the house as an island it also has wheels ez to move around. In the appliances department this cute vintage refrigerator and affordable! Will come again to stay to look around when I have more time.

2022-04-11Do not rent equipment from this location! We rented a B26 kubota and we did not even get to use the machine for the full 7 days we rented it for. The machine had black oil and filter was disgusting we called multiple times to get someone to help us get it running or come service it which took a half day. Finally someone tries to help we got it going for a few more hours then it breaks down again. We were finally able to get back on the trailer and took it back two days early and they refused to compensate us in any sort of way. The person checking out the equipment was very unprofessional and our card was charged for more then what they had stated when the machine was rented. There went 900 bucks down the drain.

2022-03-13So many employees walking around not wanting to help you. Go as far as to avoid eye contact so they aren’t asked questions. Terrible customer service. MaryAnne in windows/doors takes the cake. We went in to special order some doors. I had to ask several people to track her down. She kept saying she would be with us and was blatantly avoiding us. We even caught her peering around the aisles at us to see if we were still waiting at the desk. I even said “excuse me can we get some help with a special order” very clearly and she turned and walked the other direction. My husband and I were so confused at what the problem was. At least four employees said she was on her way and nothing. We needed up going to Lowe’s and got the help we needed right away and Home Depot lost out on an order just under $5k. You can thank the nonexistent customer service of MaryAnne for the lost revenue. If there is some kind of customer service course you require employees take I highly suggest you have MaryAnne retake it until she gets it right. There is no excuse for the way she treated us with literally no other customers in the department at that time. Not a good look Home Depot!
